DAY6 Introducing My Instrument #3 Jae - Duration: 7:22.

Introducing My Instrument (Jae)

Hey, this is Jae of DAY6.

Today I'd like to introduce my instrument to you all.

Q. About your position in the band?

I'm the lead guitar in the band.

I usually play lines and sometimes also play backup.

When DAY6 play together in a concert I play chords

What I just played is "Wish",

In a song like "Wish", Sungjin and I play the same line. The same chords.

This is to give more power to the sound when playing live.

Normally like in "Letting Go"

I play lines like these in the chorus.

From time to time,

I play the solo.

I guess you could call me the 'Spicing' in DAY6.

Q. How did you start playing the guitar?

When I was little a friend came over to my house and started playing the guitar.

My dad's acoustic guitar was lying around all the time.

Then suddenly my friend came over, picked it up playing chords and started singing.

This was a shocker for me because I always thought that

Only professional singers could sing a whole song while playing the guitar.

That you needed tremendous amount of time and practice to pull it off.

However I realized then.

'If my friend can do it, why not me?', that lead me to start playing the guitar.

Q. What makes the electric guitar attractive?

I prefer soft, emotional music. There are things that only the guitar can express.

For example there is a mute in every instrument

But there is that unique feel that only the mute and open sound of the guitar can express.

Take for example like that intro I played at the start.

If I play it more softly or subtly,

I feel that I can convey my emotions more.

That's what I think.

Q. Any tips or know-hows on playing the electric guitar?

I play lines that aren't 'usual' because I know less about the conventional lines.

I'm not familiar with what the normal route is, so I tend to come up with my own more.

I might be playing things like this

Then I would think of riffs like this.

I'm not saying that it's impossible for other people to play it.

I can go where my mind takes me. I think that's my advantage.

Q. The reason behind changing guitars between songs?

Many people are curious as to why I keep changing my guitar during the concert.

I'm going to tell you why.

First of all, the guitar needs to be 'tuned'so for some songs this is the lowest note.

But for some songs you have to go one step lower.

So to play along with other instruments

I have to tune it lower than the lowest note

About this much.

This is what is called a 'down tuning' changing the tune.

However, timewise I can't keep tuning this during a show.

So instead of having to tune one by one,

I thought quickly switching guitars is much more efficient.

That is the reason I am using 2 main guitars.

Also according to the how and what wood it's made of.

The sound varies depending on how much it's aged, peeled et cetera

So the guitar needs to change depending on what sound is needed in a song.

Q. Do you have a name of your guitar?

I have 2 other guitars.

They all have names, but I haven't yet given this one a name.

There isn't a particular reason. It's just that I haven't come up with the right one.

I am really attached to it because it's so pretty and all.

So it's hard for me to name it just in case I would regret it. I'm still pondering.

Q. About your solo in the FINALE Concert?

The guitar solo I played at the FINALE was AC/DC's "Back in Black"

I was really worried because it's a SUPER SUPER famous song.

However I was happy because you guys loved it.

"Back in Black" felt strange to me at first.

When I first picked it, I still wondered 'Is this right? No?'

I don't usually play this really rock-ish songs.

I don't usually play things like this.

I had some trouble with this part.

This line, my hands found it hard to get used to.

It's not a SUPER hard line, but I've never really played anything going back and forth in minor pentatonic.

It goes back and forth one, two, almost 4 times.

I was difficult and first.

But with guitars it works out somehow.

Q. What does the electric guitar mean to me?

To me, the guitar was the start of my music.

If there was no guitar, I wouldn't have started singing, or less.

If I sang less, I wouldn't be here.

So the guitar for me, is the start of my music.

The Seething Shore Guide, Incl. Achievements. (30p) - Duration: 5:53.

Hey there, this is my first video with my new webcam

and if you're wondering: Who's that sexy beast?

It's still Mnine, your next level mate.

In this video I'll be talking about the new World of Warcraft battleground, Seething Shore.

I'll be explaining what the objective is,

what you should do to win

and what you need to do to obtain all achievements.

Let's get started.

So when you enter this Battleground,

you start on the airship.

What's really cool about this, is that there are two useful NPCs on the ship.

The first one is Jeron Emberfall, the Blood Elf NPC.

If you talk to him, he'll create a stack of mage food for you.

The second one is Xander Sliberman, the Undead NPC.

And he's a vendor where you can buy battleground potions for Marks of Honor.

Which you normally have to buy in Dalaran.

Once the battleground starts,

There will be three active Azerite deposits.

The goal is to collect 1500 points, which are 15 Azerite deposits.

Carefully watching where your teammats are going to,

can be very useful to have a start advantage.

You will get an extra ability, that will allow you to dash through the air.

towards the location where you want to land.

Just before you land, a parachute will open

and you will slow fall down.

If you want to land faster,

you can use blink to get to the ground quicker.

To collect a Azerite deposit,

you simply have to click it and you'll start mining it.

This is basically a flag like in the other battlegrounds,

that will give you an eight second cast time

and if nobody hits you within this time,

you'll collect it and gain a hundred points to your team score.

When someone captures an Azerite mine,

new Azerite mines will spawn.

They will be gray on your map until active.

You can also see them by the huge green glow.

There are twelve random mine locations

and there doesn't seem to be any pattern.

Normally buffs in battlegrounds have their own spawn point.

For example in Warsong Gulch you have a sprint buff in each tunnel,

a health/mana regen buff near the graveyard

and then the berserking buff on the opposite side.

In this battleground the buff seems to be random.

they do have a their fixed place where they'll spawn,

but they don't spawn instantly like in all the battlegrounds.

Here they'll come out of the sky,

falling like some kind of a supply crate.

So you can pre move to those crates

and know when they're gonna spawn,

rather than trying to track a two-minute hidden timer.

I think this is really cool.

Achievements

There are a lot of easy achievements

and only one achievement which requires some effort.

Let's start with the easy achievements.

Seething Shore victory

Just win a battleground and you'll get this.

Death from Above

Slay an enemy within 30 seconds of landing on Seething Shore.

Claim Jumper

Within 30 seconds of landing on Seething Shore,

collect an Azerite deposit.

Both Death from Above and Claim Jumper can be done mid game.

If you really want to farm this achievement

and want to have it as quickly as possible,

just let them kill yourself, so you respawn on the ship.

Blood and Sand

Slay 50 enemies near an Azerite deposit.

You should get this achievement passively,

quite quickly,

as you're always fighting near a Azerite deposit.

Seething Shore domination.

Capture Azerite in each of the following locations in Seething Shore.

You basically need to mine in each of the locations

and you don't have to do them all in one game.

I photoshopped a map that shows all 12 Azerite deposits with their names.

So you can quickly find out which ones you still need

and where you have to be.

The harder achievement will be Seething Shore perfection.

In order to get this, you'll have to earn 1500 points,

while the opposite team has zero points.

To do this, you'll simply have to mine 15 Azerite deposits,

without allowing your opposing team to get any.

It seems to be quite hard if you're doing it alone,

but doable when you're in a 5 man premade,

that knows what to do.

I recommend bringing two healers, two DPS and a tank.

So you always have good healers around contesting Azerite deposits,

and the Tank can slow down some of the enemies that are trying to mine another Azerite deposit.

If your group has some time to farm this achievement,

I would recommend just to keep trying it.

With some luck you'll end up in a game where the enemy team doesn't have any healer.

Giving you an easier time getting this achievement.

There are two remaining achievements that have to be farmed.

For Seething Shore veteran, you'll simply have to win 100 games.

And for 'A Good Start' you'll have to collect 100.000 Azerite.

Which should take longer than obtaining 100 wins.

If you really want to get these achievements as quickly as possible.

You should prioritize picking up every Azerite deposit.

However I would recommend just playing normally after you obtained the easy achievements,

because this battleground is a lot of fun.

If you have completed all of these achievements,

you will get the achievement: 'Master of Seething Shore' and the title: 'Prospector'.

as quickly as possible, so I could start making this guide.

video for Saga Prefectureʼs

multilingual travel app, "Dogan Shita To".

Saga Prefecture has a reputation

for often being overlooked.

Situated between Fukuoka Prefecture

and Nagasaki Prefecture many people

will pass through Saga Prefecture

on an express train,

and very few travelers will stop to explore it.

But Saga, in all its' modesty,

has a lot of natural untouched beauty, delicious food,

and celebrates a lot of Japanese tradition.

During our two weeks of shooting

we went from corner to corner, and so,

to help give you an idea of what Saga is like,

here are my top four picks of things

to do in Saga Prefecture.

One of the most picturesque shrines in all of Kyushu,

Yutoku Inari Shrine is definitely a sight to behold.

Built into a steep hillside of a valley,

thereʼs lots to explore here,

but if youʼve brought your camera

and youʼre looking to make some memories,

I definitely recommend renting a Kimono

at Saruku, located near the shrine entrance.

Um, I just did this last month in Tokyo

and it was really fun,

so I was excited to do it again here in Kyushu.

I get to choose my own Kimono

and we're going to walk around Yutoku Shrine

which is absolutely beautiful, majestic.

Majestic shrine.

So this time, I've chosen a bright red and black Obi,

and then a striped white, red, and purple Kimono.

It should look pretty cool when it's on.

This is the final look.

Looks a lot different than the one I did last month,

and I really like it, I love the stripes,

I love the bold patterns.

I don't know if you guys can tell

but it's actually snowing right now,

and the sun is out,

and it's so beautiful up here in the mountains.

this is a cool way to get some

really beautiful photographs.

but even if you donʼt feel like dressing up,

this shrine is a breathtaking place to visit,

and a popular place to pray to the gods of life,

for rich harvests and business prosperity.

Located on the Northern tip of Saga Prefecture,

facing the ocean, the Karatsu Yobuko area

feels like it operates in a completely different era.

Far away from the hustle and bustle

of modern day, and free of designer brands

and materialistic desires,

this is a fun little area to drive out to

where youʼre very unlikely to ever see another foreigner.

So now we're in Yobuko in Karatsu in Saga.

Karatsu's actually so far away from Saga City

that I've heard that Karatsu people

don't consider themselves part of Saga,

so it's really interesting to come all the way out here

and see how they love kind of separated from the city.

Here in Yobuko they have a morning market

every day until about 12 noon,

where they sell all types of fish

that they've taken from the Genkai Sea.

So let's take a walk down the street

and see what we can find.

So along this street we found an old

candy shop Dagashi-yasan

Candy that was sold during the Showa Era,

like things that are not so popular anymore,

could be found in stores like this,

and it's pretty cool to look around,

so let's see what they've got inside.

Ahh, these are so cool.

There's a bunch of old games here in the corner.

This one's 10 Yen.

There's another one for 10 Yen.

This one's 50 Yen, one piece.

I guess it can't be that old if it's one piece.

From the port in Yobuko,

you can hop on a ferry tour to a nearby island,

or take a tour to visit the seven naturally

formed sea caves on a coast nearby.

So now we're on a boat.

We're gonna go to a cave.

- Yeah, have you ever been there?

- Yes, twice.

- I've never seen or been there.

- I've been there twice,

this is my third time going but,

- Third time?

- Yep.

- Oh well that's a lot.

- Yeah.

- Pretend that, you know.

- I'm gonna pretend it's the first time,

I'm gonna be amazed.

[Micaela] The water here's incredibly clear.

This looks amazing, this is fresh sashimi,

many different kinds.

We've got some Shu Mai right over here,

which is like a squid steamed dumpling.

We've got Chawanmushi which is steamed egg,

and some soup.

Tatsu's got an Ika rice bowl

which he's already digging into.

[Micaela] How is it?

- So good.

- [Micaela] Fresh squid.

If you come to Yobuko, you have to have the squid.

The fish is what it's famous for.

So beautiful.

Pottery and Ceramics are a huge part of Sagaʼs Identity,

so much so that they even have a porcelain theme park.

If youʼre looking for some truly unique souvenirs

to take back home, you can get your hands dirty and

make your own pottery, or you can look through

literally thousands of hand painted designs

by local artists and find a style

that fits your unique sense.

I am absolutely in love with this cup,

I wish I could buy it, but it's 300 dollars.

Between the towns of Imari and Arita,

youʼll find that the streets, and even in the shrines,

are decorated in carefully handcrafted porcelain.

These vibrant pieces of artwork stand out against older,

traditional neighborhoods, streets, and buildings.

Iʼve lived in Japan for 13 years now,

and Iʼve never seen anything like this before.

- Pretty good, isn't it?

- [Micaela] Porcelain torii is really cool.

- Yeah, this is like really cool.

- [Micaela] Where you goin?

- Tryin to head to a little small bridge.

- [Micaela] Ahh.

- Whoa.

- [Tatsu] Yeah it's pretty, isn't it?

- [Micaela] Oh that's cute.

So we're in this beautiful river,

and the tiles along the river, are Imari-yaki pottery.

And they're quite clean.

They must be well maintained.

Very cool.

After falling in love with the pottery,

in both Imari and Arita,

Visitors can enroll in one-day pottery classes,

and make a personal souvenir to take home as well.

I'm excited cause I get to make whatever I want.

I get to choose out of all of these designs,

and I think I'm going to make something

I can drink tea in.

Okay, so I tried to make this one,

and this is what I ended up with.

As you can see there's quite a size difference,

but when they put it in the kiln,

it's gonna shrink to 80% of this size.

I still think it's gonna end up

being a little bit bigger than this.

It looks kinda like a bowl right now,

I don't know if I could use it for tea,

but I don't know, I guess we're just

gonna have to see how it turns out.

So we've arrived at a gallery and cafe called Ota,

and their famous for their Arita Yaki Curry,

which is Japanese Curry served in a

porcelain Arita Yaki bowl that you can take home

after you've eaten it.

This Yaki Curry is so popular,

they even sell it online.

Fans of Arita Pottery can choose

the type of dish it is served in,

some designs costing more than others.

We got presents, we got cute Doraemon Arita Yaki bowls

and inside is another serving of Arita Yaki curry.

It's pretty heavy and the box is still warm,

so I think we have to eat this today

or tomorrow at the latest but

I'm so excited we got two of them.

Japanʼs Southern Island of Kyushu

has many natural hot springs,

but some are more popular with tourists than others.

While many tourists are rushing

to different prefectures for hot springs,

you can skip the crowds by coming to Saga instead.

Wandering around Ureshino City,

you run into a few public foot baths as well.

So this is a foot sauna,

you open it up and steam comes out.

You can shut this box overtop

to keep your knees warm and steam away.

Normally it can be kind of intimidating

to travel to places that aren't very

touristy or English friendly,

but the people we met in Ureshino

were very happy to chat with us.

to test your own fluency,

here's a really great place for you to start.

So I've been in here for about,

what, not even 10 minutes.

my legs are turning red it's so hot.

So when it comes to Onsen there's different water qualities

and some water can be carbonated,

some can be drying but Ureshino's hot spring water

is very heavy, it's very silky.

It feels like I have lotion on my skin,

but I actually didn't use any today.

DIY How to make Easter bunny out of sisal (ENG Subtitles) - Speed up #472 - Duration: 3:13.

Hi. Today I will show you how to make Easter bunny out of sisal.

I made it by request from my viewer.

Detailed list of all needed items is in the description of this video.

First, cut off a bottom part of styrofoam egg.

Wrap the egg by using bright sisal.

Cut off an excess of sisal.

Take a cardboard and cut a shape of feet...

...and a shape of ears.

Apply glue on the feet...

...and glue the sisal.

Cut of an excess of sisal.

Glue a pink sisal to the ears.

Now twist a piece of bright sisal...

...and glue it to the edges of ear.

Glue the eyes to the egg.

Cut a shape of mouth out of black paper...

...and glue it to the egg.

Make a nose.

Now, add the feet...

...and the ears.

Finally, gently bend the ears.

And it's done.

This bunny is a really quick and easy Easter decoration.

You can make it out of empty egg shell instead of styrofoam egg.

Today I'm doing a book review of my friend Melissa's book the willful kind

Hey howdy a trainwreck. How are you today?

I am the glorious train wreck mom this is your first time here welcome aboard train wreck glad to have you here

It's writer Wednesday, and I've got friends

Who are writers, and they have books out so I review their books because I like my friends

And I want them to sell lots of books so that they can live and be happy and all that fun stuff so

Read my friend Melissa Waldo's book the willful current

this is a project that she had started in college and

It just was one of those things NaNoWriMo was coming around and I was like come on publish book get a book

Yeah, I know you got a book in you and I urged her and poked and prodded her and pretty much

Strong-armed her into finishing this and and publishing it so yay for a dear friends, right?

so

I'll give you a little bit of a background on the book

And I'll give you a little bit of background on Melissa because she's pretty amazing chick when he gets to know her she's super quiet

But she's amazing so okay

So we have Elsa is a spirited college freshman trying to make sense of adulthood while dating a college professor

Her need to feel free and childish causes problems in her relationships with her boyfriend best friend and parents

She meets a new professor Phillip, white and then everything starts to change he doesn't hide their relationship

He doesn't fight with her is this real love can Phillip break through else's stubbornness that all being said

It was really hard for me to not

imagine Melissa in this role of Elsa because

Melissa severac like I said very quiet very reserved

Fairly guarded person, and I totally respect that she once you get through that though. She is super amazing

sensitive

Intelligent caring she was my son's preschool teacher and honestly

it's one of the few regrets that I have of quitting my job and having to take him out of the daycare as well because

He no longer gets to have her as an amazing human being as a teacher

And I never I don't get to talk to her nearly as much as I used to and I miss her so much that

being said let's talk about Elsa and

the the

Train wreck that she is because in all honesty. This child is a 20 year old train wreck I

saw a lot of Daria if you're a 90s Brett and

You remember Daria very much like if you could figure Daria in

college

This is this is Elsa very snarky very sarcastic very cool very aloof very like

Whatever feelings okay? Yeah sure whatevs and

Yet, you know

There's something else there

and I think she gets herself trapped in a relationship where she thinks she has to be committed and

Yet, she really doesn't have to be so

It's kind of interesting seeing this dichotomy of I want to be a kid. I want to be in kroner

I want to be a kid. I want to be in kroner. I want commitment. I don't want commitment. I don't want marriage

I want a baby. Yeah, all this stuff going on and in her time of this. She's still living at home

Which yeah apparently that's a thing that doesn't happen work around here. I didn't move out of my mom's house till I was 22

Yeah, yeah 22 21 22, so you know?

But she's still living it, and she's having this relationship with this older guy and her parents are okay with it

And I'm just thinking there ain't no way I would have been able to bring a dude home

There was 16 years older than me under my mom's roof and have her a proof of anything

Never would have happened. Never would have happened okay

Now her best friend

Her best friend good lord that job. She's both

She's pretty much Sundance Kid two else's Butch Cassidy. They go everywhere together. They do everything together

Even when Elsa is out on dates wherever

Elsa goes Raya goes to and I mean these two peas in a pod Elsa and Ryan's relationship

unfortunately, you know what's gonna have to change because

They've been through so much already middle school and high school

It's a miracle that they're still friends college is gonna change them College is gonna

Have its ups and downs on their relationship and guys are gonna have an ups and down on their relationship as well

You know it's not always gonna be the dynamic duo. It's not always gonna be a terrific threesome

What I just think eventually

The relationship is going to change

Because it's inevitable

Yeah as Elsa's

Exploring her options riah's eventually going to do the same thing so you're not always going to have the dynamic duo

let alone the the

Terrific trio of

You know Riya Elsa and whoever which one of them is dating and it seems to be a theme that goes on is that?

Maybe they're both a little insecure

I'd need each other for that support enough you want to find out you should read the book the other

Player in this is the professor boyfriend who is 16 years of

Elsa's senior Heather

Thurman, what's she doing? I'm

Like seriously could you not find?

Anyone your own age that?

Dude, she's a student

Okay, and the other thing is it's not fair of Thurman to put so much on

Elsa she's 20 she's just learning to live her life and

Thurman's over here like he wants total commitment. He wants marriage and all this she doesn't like marriage

She just wants a baby come on man seriously

You don't need marriage for a baby most people don't even need love for a baby have you seen the world?

But here they are in this weird

Relationship where he barely acknowledges her barely talks to her they don't do anything

They don't go on dates because he's so paranoid about his job and his profession and that someone might see them out in public

Holy Wow, but that winds up being his undoing

You'll see you'll see you got to read the book guys seriously. There's this other character Philip white he's another professor and

He falls for Elsa pretty darn quick like

creepily quick and

I get where Elsa's craving

Crazy, and he's a little bit closer to her age. He's only like six years older than her but

He falls pretty hard for this person who pretty much treats him like crap

She's fairly mean to him. She's

Really like I said. She's very casual about the whole thing

So it's really odd to try to figure out where her relationship

where her feelings are for him until

About the end of the book which I'm not gonna tell you anything okay?

You're gonna have to read the book and I got it as you can tell I got my copy on

Amazon in eBook it is available in both eBook and paperback

I firmly suggest get this book. It's about 200 pages

estimated reading times about 4 hours

I mean seriously if you've got a weekend sit your butt down and read a book

It's a good way to go so check out my friend book. I really do it did enjoy it

She is an amazing author her dialogue was spot-on it was really easy to read

Dynamically with the characters these really did feel like real people that I know

Because I do know people who are ready to rush into

Relationships, I do know people who are like hey

commitment

Yeah, I'm gonna go over here. You know and chicks are like that, too

It's not just a guy thing okay. Sometimes chicks are just like

No
