Waching daily Mar 9 2018

hi i'm Deborah Maragopoulos intuitive integrated family nurse practitioner I'm

going to be doing a presentation today on it's not a hot flash it's a power

surge three ways to cool your jets if you're ready to get on the path to

optimal health and make sure to subscribe and click the bell

notification so you don't miss any of my future videos welcome back to the

hormone healing show so you know the thing where you try to dress in layers and you

find that the polyester isn't working for you so everyone else is freezing you

have to throw your polyester away you wish you could take all of your clothes

off so you can be in your underwear because you're so hot you try spritzing

yourself you try drinking lots of cold water and nothing's working so why is

this happening why are you having hot flashes either your perimenopausal

you're menopausal or you're under stress hot flashes happened to men as well not

just women and this is why your hormones start off at a high level when you're a

young adult and particularly estrogen is the main hormone that controls your

thermostat your internal thermometer that controls your temperature so when

it starts off high you're fine but as soon as it starts dipping and dropping

in the perimenopause or or during stress your hypothalamus which is a part in

your brain that actually controls your temperatures that's where the thermostat

lies becomes imbalanced and then your temperature is completely out of balance

so while everyone else is cold you're hot or it is a very hot day especially

in the summertime you get really overheated or you start exercising and

you overheat and you can't seem to get your core temperature down as the as

your hormones start dropping it becomes more and more critical that your

hypothalamus needs balancing because your temperature is going to keep

getting out of control now eventually your hypothalamus gets

used to the fact that you're not making anymore hormones

at least not making as much as you were and we'll start to settle down but that

can take a very long time some women going through menopause will

actually have hot flashes for up to 10 years so we don't want that so what do

most women do well sometimes they'll get some over-the-counter progesterone cream

and apply it they're sort of trying to figure it out maybe it works maybe it

doesn't progesterone is not the main hormone that controls your thermometer

controls that thermostat it really is estrogen which requires a prescription

for a transdermal cream you could also take estrogen in the form of a pill I

don't recommend that because it's going to be going through your liver and cut

increasing your risk for blood clots you can put the pill as a sublingual

underneath your tongue and avoid the liver or you can wear an estrogen patch

you still need progesterone both of the hormones estrogen and progesterone to

balance each other out remember estrogen as the fertilizer

grows everything progesterones the gardener it knows the difference between

the weeds and the roses so what else can you do there are mainly three things

that you need to need to do in order to try to get your thermostat reset you

really need to balance your hypothalamus and the key for balancing the

hypothalamus is what I've created in Genesis gold these sacred 7 amino acids

in Genesis gold is directly to balance your hypothalamus and usually they work

very well together what I find is if I'm having any issues

with hot flushes then it's changing constantly constantly so in the

summertime when it's a lot lot warmer you need a little bit more so I'll

either do one or two things I will take an extra scoop of my Genesis gold okay

in order to in order to control my hot flashes or I will actually add a scoop

of sacred 7 which are just pure amino acids maybe even a half a scoop into my

Genesis gold mix it up and then that way I have a little better hot flash control

that's not going to last forever but I may need more especially if I'm under

stress so you either get prescription for hormones or you balance your your

hypo samus with Genesis gold now if you're

taking Genesis gold and you need bioidentical hormone replacement therapy

it's gonna work so much better with the Genesis gold on board because it allows

the hormones to get into the cells another way that you can help actually

reset the hypothalamus in the terms of adding a little more estrogen naturally

is royal jelly royal jelly is actually a natural form of estrogen and using about

a teaspoon once or twice a day can actually help raise that estrogenic

level in you and help with your hypothalamus you can add that right

along with the genesis called so balancing the hypothalamus is absolutely

number one thing that you need to do in order to get your temperatures under

control the next thing is you need to reset your thermostat okay so you can do

that and you've been doing that spraying of the water the cold wet rags in the in

nursing we used to swing the rags around and make them colder and then where do

you put them you put them here but you also put them behind your neck okay

actually put in that cold rag behind your neck or in the best place although

this is not the most the easiest place to do when you're actually in the office

or at work is actually in your groin if somebody has a really high fever

you get cold packs in their groin around their neck and literally get their

entire head wet in order to get that temperature down now one thing that

you've probably been doing is drinking lots of cold water okay putting cold

water inside of you ice water is not gonna bring your core temperature down

what you need to do is you need to get in a cold bath okay so you see this

little duct floating around in the bath that's perfectly fine but that back

better be ice cold ice water and this little duct can't just float on the top

you need to submerge yourself get your head wet your whole body wet completely

wet in that ice-cold water have you ever heard of the people in the in the

Swedish countries Norway Finland doing ice baths there's a reason for that it

actually helps to control the hypothalamus so complete submerging

submersion in ice-cold water will make a huge difference in getting your body

temperature reset so balancing the hypothalamus with genesis gold come

lately immersing yourself in cold water now when do you do this honestly after I

exercise in the summertime I completely immerse myself in cold water every

single time I happen to have a pool so it's easy if I don't have time to do

that I will get in a cold bath or take a cold

shower the key is wetting your head which means your heads getting wet every

single time okay so but that makes a big difference at

least once or twice a day doing that cold water submersion to reset your

thermostat so that is really key you can't drink enough water you can't

spritz enough water on you and you can't lay enough cold packs on you to get to

get your temperature down you've got to get your core temperature down by

submerging yourself completely now one of the aspects of the hypothalamus is

that it is directly connected to the vagal nerve the vagal nerve is literally

from your brain all the way through your body okay now what the vagal nerve does

is it controls a system in your body at neurological system called the

parasympathetic nervous system that system calms everything down

unfortunately when you're under stress when you're having issues with your

hormones being out of balance when you're late for a for an appointment or

anytime you're feeling stress anytime you're feeling stressed you wake up in

the middle light and think oh did I turn the gas off did I pay that bill all of

those stressful feelings actually triggers the sympathetic nervous system

and then the hypothalamus kicks in but that sympathetic nervous system gets

triggered first and that is triggers your fight-or-flight mechanism so you

can run away from the danger now in order to do that you have to have a

higher heart rate so your heart's beating like crazy you have to have a

higher blood pressure and your temperature your metabolism rises so

your body temperature naturally rises so in order to lower your body temperature

to actually stop that sympathetic nervous system response you have to turn

on your parasympathetic nervous system so there's actually was a study done on

menopausal women who got up at night with hot flashes and night sweats and

they were losing sleep and they were trying to turn on the parasympathetic

nervous system doing a very simple exercise that was a contraction

relaxation exercise and they found if they did this exercise three times

before they went to sleep their level of hot flashes and night sweats went down

dramatically so since reading the study quite a few

years ago I've been teaching this to my patients I actually do it myself if I

wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep even if I'm not hot because

it actually will relax me enough to sleep so what I would like you to do is

learn how to trigger your parasympathetic nervous system and I'm

going to teach you that right now so I want you to get really comfortable

either in a comfortable chair if you could lay down that would be ending

better if you could kick off your shoes that would be fantastic okay so get as

comfortable as you possibly can and I want you to be sitting and if you're

driving and listening or watching stop the car pull over to the side and pay

attention here because I'm going to do a little meditation with you I'm going to

show you this relaxation and contraction exercises so you can turn on your

parasympathetic nervous system okay so if everyone's ready just take a deep

breath and relax I want you to close your eyes what I want you to do is

follow my voice you're gonna do exactly what I tell you to do don't predict what

I'm gonna say just listen to my voice and do it in this order okay you're in a

comfortable position either sitting or lying down I want you to contract your

toes curl your toes I want you to contract your feet tighten up your calf

muscles tighten up your thighs tighten up your buttocks tighten up your lower

belly tighten up your chest tighten up your shoulders your arms your hands your

neck your face your eyes so everything is really really really tight and hold

it and now relax your toes your feet your calves your thighs your buttocks

your lower belly your upper belly your back your chest your shoulders your arms

your hands your neck your face your eyes and breathe okay let me take you through

that one more time the trick is you do it three times by contracting you

stimulated your sympathetic nervous system by conscious relaxation you've

just turned on your parasympathetic nervous system we're gonna trigger it

again listen to my voice contract your toes your feet your calves your thighs

your buttocks your belly your chest your shoulders your arms your hands tighten

your neck tighten your face squeeze your eyes tight hold it now relax your toes

feet calves thighs buttocks belly back chest shoulders arms hands neck face

eyes breathe nice and deep you'll probably notice that that tension that

you felt in your body is slowly facilitating that is the parasympathetic

nervous system saying we're okay you don't have to run away you don't have to

overheat I want you to practice this three times every night before you go to

sleep if you wake up in the middle of the night with a night sweat do it again

if you wake up in the middle of the night and you just can't sleep do it

again you will fall back to sleep and relax do it again in the morning three

times to set your parasympathetic nervous system and just relax right

before you get out of bed and then get out of bed slowly don't hop out of bed

don't rush don't stimulate your sympathetic nervous system you're not

running away from anything okay this will help to trigger that

parasympathetic nervous system get the vagal nerve in response and that will

feedback to the hypothalamus and tell it everything's okay you don't have to turn

up the heat see these hot flashes are really are

your power surges it's a surge of energy power for you to do something either run

away from danger or fight the danger or stand up for someone you love but it can

be very uncomfortable you need to learn how to harness that energy Genesis goal

is going to help you harness that energy but you may need some more help doing a

complete cold bath immersion everyday especially after you exercise also helps

to harness that energy don't of course don't stay under the water that long and

practicing the contraction and relaxation exercises to trigger the

parasympathetic sympathetic nervous system excuse me will also help you to

control those power surges and get your hot flashes under control if this video

BBQ Glazed Chicken Meatloaf | Easy Meatloaf Recipe - Duration: 2:43.

Hey everybody and welcome to the video.

This is Josh here, and today we're going to be making BBQ Meatloaf.

This recipe has instantly become another classic for me, it's full of flavor, simple and

easy to make, and most of all I'm just an old man who loves some good comfort food.

Be sure like the video and let me know down below if you give plan to give this one a

try, and subscribe if you're not already, I put out new recipes every other friday.

Starting off, we're going to break apart and add in our ground chicken and pork.

I like using 50/50 ratio here if and when I can, the addition of pork makes the meatloaf

really flavorful, but if you can't afford the extra calories you can also use 100% lean

ground chicken.

Next we'll add some chopped onion, along with breadcrumbs, tomato sauce, and one beaten

egg.

For our spices we'll be using salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.

Make sure to get your hands on the smoked paprika if you can, this really adds to the

bbq flavor.

Mix all of the ingredients together thoroughly and spread out evenly into a nonstick-sprayed

9 by 5 loaf pan.

Now we're going to prepare our sauce to glaze our meatloaf with.

In a bowl, add tomato sauce, Worcestershir--- Worcestersh---- Worcestershir---- Worcestershir----

[LAUGHS] --- apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard, and honey.

Stir everything together and pour about half of the mixture over your meatloaf, we'll

save the other half to glaze while the meatloaf is cooking.

Preheat your oven to 350°F and bake your meatloaf for a total of 80 minutes, rebasting

with our sauce every 20-30 minutes.

For the last 2-3 minutes we're going to put our oven in the broil setting, this will

really lock in the flavor and crust from our glaze.

Remove from the oven to let rest, then slice, serve and enjoy.

This meatloaf really is one of the best I've ever tasted.

I'm serving it up with some green beans cooked in my cast iron, but this will go well

with whatever side dish you choose.

The recipe yields about 8 servings and at only 300 calories a serving, you'll definitely

have to give it a go for your next dinner or meal prep.

Ingredient amounts and all other info is up on the blog, be sure to check out www.beardedfatloss.com

for that, but until next time, I'll talk to you all later.

Have a good one.

Coborn PG4 and RG9A @ Grindtec Augsburg 2016 [ENG & GER] - Duration: 4:49.

Coborn was founded 1941,

and the super hard material industry is where we focus our efforts.

with the latest CNC tool and cutting grinders, for both SCD and PCD

We brought two brand new machines these are the first time that been exhibited around the world.

PG4 which is a single crystal tool grinder, fully CNC controlled.

We believe it's the only one in the world

It's a first to the market.

It's a revolutionary, it will give tool makers the ability to make single crystal diamond tools automatically.

Something which is not been heard of before.

We will continue the software development to give the more complex geometries,

capable of producing hyperbolic and parabolic forms.

So we have the complexity of the profiles, and the full CNC capabilites in the machine.

That together with the RG9A which is our new developed tool and cutting grinder for PCD and PcBN,

is a considerable amount of improvements, a new software platform which will give us the ability

to develop the machine further and take it forward for

the next five years.

it has the ability for the software to be generated for more complex grinding

Which is where we know the market has been driven.

All the manufacturing is produced in the UK.

We have worked on the principal that the machine should be designed for a conventional toolmaker,

to be able to understand and use .

rather than a CNC programmer,

you need to have a fair amount of experience with grinding super hard materials

but the complexity of the CNC is masked by the user interface.

We can offer manual entry level machines for people starting off.

We have one customer in China, started with one manual machine,

now has ten fully automatic machines

and it's grown significantly on the basis of our machinery.

All our products give you a very quick return on investment.

We think we are the best value for money.

We have online support for all the machines, we have remote diagnoses.

We made the machines so, that most of the parts are easy for the customer to swap themselves,

not need a service technician.

it made sense to choose a partner.

TECNO.Team have the ideal fit, they have

very complex grinding solutions they are the niche of grinding.

We want to be a partner to all of our costumers.

Our level of integrity and confidentiality will keep customers secrets, secret.

And equally we will help them with developing new technology and being pioneers in the industry.

Building an emergency fund for freelancers - Duration: 12:16.

Today I wanted to discuss money with you.

And I know, that for a lot of creatives

money is a rather sensitive topic, that

we feel ashamed to talk about. I have a

different opinion, and I feel like this

shameful culture about money has to

change. Because otherwise we will not be

able to make money and to enjoy spending

them. I wanted to start with my money

story. I was born to a family of doctors

in Russia, which meant that for us money

was always something that was scarce and

never enough. None of my parents ever did

pursue any career apart from medicine. So

they never decided to start their own

practice or their own business. And

thanks to the Soviet Union past, a lot

of my relatives really did despise

entrepreneurship, because during those

Soviet Union years we had a planned

economy, which meant that everything was

regulated by the state, and you could not

really start your own business. Because

there was just no opportunity to do that.

The first person, who showed my family

that being a businessman is not actually

bad, was my stepfather. I believe, that he

was the first alive person, who showed my

relatives, that being a businessman

actually mean, that you can also be a

good man and an honest person, and that

you don't necessarily lie to everybody

and try to sell everything including

your own kids. So this is where I think

our family fear come from. Like when do

you tell them, that you want to start

your own business on the Internet

drawing pictures for somebody else, or

having a YouTube channel, or writing

songs, or doing designs, or creating

photography. it's hard for them to

understand. Because they just simply

don't have this kind of experience yet.

They are not trying to stop you because

they don't love you. But rather on the

opposite they do love you and they are

afraid, that you will end up with no

money tomorrow and that you will regret

your decisions. So they try to protect you.

If you feel, that you are in the same

situation with your parents, where

they try to protect you and they don't

let you to start your own business

online, try to explain to them, that this

is totally okay, and that the wide

variety of people already doing what you

want to do, and being successful at it,

having money, having families, kids and

whatever. When I started to work eight

years ago, I would make like $200

$400 per month.

I would usually be in the situation, when

my money would totally wind up two weeks

before the paycheck. I was always

thinking, that once I will start to earn

more, this problem will just simply go

away, because I will not spend more. Three

years ago I found a job as an art

director in American advertising agency

Saatchi and Saatchi. I was making from

$250 to $3,000 per month. And they figured

out, that I did not really feel any

change from those times, when I would

make $200 per month as a student. Because

my salary will completely drain two

weeks before paycheck again. So I figured,

that there was something wrong with my

strategy of working with money. But

I couldn't really tell what. If you guys

are aspiring artists or designers,

photographers, creative people, you hear

it from everybody: Love what you do, learn

more and you will be successful at it. Because

nobody is basically born with this

perfect compositional skill, we all learn

along the way. But nobody really talked

this way about money. In my family it was

a topic covered with shame and guilt and

this feeling, that money only brings bad

things on you, because there is never

enough. My friends and I - never discussed

money. But then I figured, that money

topic is basically the same. Nobody is

born with this idea of how to invest. We

all have to learn along the way. And to

do that, to even start learning, the first

thing, that you have to do,

is to admit, that you love money, and that

you love making money. Let's be honest

it's opportunities, it's free time, it's

traveling, it's meeting new people.. like

all those different kind of things, that

we all strive for. Your dream is so great

to you, but the main source to achieve

that, money - is not. Let's establish first,

what is "emergency fund". According to a

lot of financial professionals, this

is the most important thing, that you can

start off your financial healthy life with.

It is just a chunk of money, that

you have to cover up in case of any

emergency, that life can be throwing at you.

And you never really know what kind of

emergencies that can be. If you guys have

been long enough on this channel, you

know, that last summer during my friend's

bachelor party, I fell into the fire..

Don't, no question asked.. And I've just

burned half of my leg, which meant, that

I was not injured bad enough to be

hospitalized, so that this will be

covered by my insurance, but I could not

really work, because I draw my work

requires sitting, but I could not, because

it was very painful to me to sit. Could

I see this coming?

No.. no. Well, maybe.. well no. Continuing the

list of emergency, that happened to me

recently - car breaking down in the middle

of the highway, which was really scary. My

year utility bill came in quadruple size,

and my toilet was clogged during

Christmas. If you want to know more about it,

check out my other video, where

I talked about, how did this story go. Also,

in case you decide to leave your

nine-to-five job, if something will

happen, you are not dependent on your

client work. And you have this cushion to

cover up for any emergencies, again. How

much money is that? There are different

approaches to emergency fund, but the

most common that I have seen, is from

3 to 6 months of your total living

expenses. You can count that pretty

easily: your food,

your transportation, and I'm not talking

about taking uber everywhere, but rather,

you know, public transportation. I would

say that this is the amount of money,

that you have to have, to leave a low

profile, but not eating only cheap pasta

or cup of ramen. Now let's talk, why we suck

at creating emergency fund. I've looked

up this statistics, which says, that 40%

of Americans are $500

away from financial ruin.

In France situation is a little bit

better. 38% of French people do have some

kind of emergency fund. Slightly less

better in Belorussia 34% of

Belorussians do save. I could not really find

any statistics on Ukraine, but majority

of you are from Russia, and here the

situation is scaringly bad.

83% of Russians don't have emergency

fund. I was part of that 83% couple of

years ago, and this puts you in a such

weak position, because if something

happens, you will have to ask for a loan,

you will have to pay interest on that.

But don't blame yourself, if you feel

like you're part of the statistics as

well. Our brain enjoy pleasure, that will

happen right now so much more, than the

postpone pleasure. And it's an evolutionary

thing, it's really hard to fight against

the nature, but once we know that, it gets

so much easier. This is all very great,

but how to actually save this much money.

For my personal experience, I have to say,

that once you have a goal, and you know

how much money are you supposed to

save, it gets so much easier to do this.

You know why you're doing this, so this is

not just this abstract saving, which

means, that you are taking money from you

today, and maybe not even spending it

tomorrow, because who knows, maybe a brick

will fall and kill you, or whatever.. This

goal is pretty easy and simple. So your

brain don't really have hard time

dealing with it. Of course you will need

a strategy, but from personal experience,

I feel, that it makes my financial life

so much easier, once I get into the habit.

Start small, but do it on a regular basis.

Since I am a freelancer,

and I get paid from various sources, and

I don't really get this huge chunk of

money once per month, I just got into the

habit of automatically send some kind of

percentage straight off to my emergency

fund account. And this is just it. I just

send it and forget about that money

altogether. What really also helped me a

lot - is to set my payments from clients

automatically to emergency fund account,

and then, from that account I "pay" myself.

So I get this whole sum of money to my

emergency bank account, and then from

that I send money to my checking account,

to pay bills and stuff like that. But

I always have more money on the emergency

account. All the money, that you did not

expect, should also go to emergency fund.

And I'm talking like presents from your grandma,

or... where else can you get unexpected money?

Maybe any site hustle, that you have -

also a really great source for emergency

fund. Okay so you got this money. Where

you should put it? Since we're talking

about emergency fund, in case of

emergency, it should be fairly easy for

you, to pull this money from the

emergency fund. What I do, is that - I keep

them on a separate bank account from my

checking account. And when I was opening

the separate bank account, I specifically

asked them not to give me a card. So

I don't have a card to my emergency fund

account, which means I can only transfer

money between banks. In Czech Republic, as

I am sure everywhere, it takes from one

to three working days to finish this

kind of transaction. Which mean, if

something happens I still will be able

to get this money in time. But, if I would

want to go on a shopping spree

on dr. Martens website, I don't have a

card linked to this bank account. So

I cannot really spend this money, I can't

go and withdraw it from ATM, so it's safe

and sound. Usually, they don't recommend

you to put this money into time deposit,

because usually you have to pay fines, if

you withdraw money earlier,

then it stated in the bank agreement. So

What's in My Book of Shadows - Duration: 15:09.

Hello everyone! My name is Katya! Welcome to my channel!

In this video I want to show you some more pages, that I finished in my Book of Shadows.

I told about this book in one of my past videos. I even showed you how I made it.

Now I have some new pages finished and I am happy to share them with you!

Filling up this book, I understood some things about myself.

First is - that unfortunately I'm not a painter.

It is very hard for me to draw something beautiful.

But I like working with watercolor and I practice it a lot.

And the second thing, which I understood is that I want to learn calligraphy a lot.

I think I'm on the right way.

At the time that I was working on my calligraphy, I understood some things, and I want to give you some advices on how to improve your handwriting.

BTW this is my vision of a perfect handwriting.

I noticed when I write small letters, my handwriting looks more neat.

Second: to press more the pen when writing.

When I press more the pen, my handwriting tremble sometimes and I like it and also it looks brighter.

3: to connect each of the letter.

Earlier I didn't connect all the letter in a word and it was a mess in my text.

Now I connect each of the letter and it looks like everything is in order.

4: you have to know your letters and to use only them.

Earlier I used to write various variants of letters in one word and it was also a mess.

I wrote down on a sheet of paper "My alphabet" and I use only letters from it.

Sometimes I color pieces of letters. I like the effect of the flowing ink.

I started to write in Russian as well, because some themes for me it's easier to write in Russian.

First page you saw in my previous video.

I decided to divide my book in three chapters: Runes, Herbs and Stones.

I added Stones here, because I like so much this theme and I also like collecting stones.

So I couldn't not add this chapter.

BTW for these pages I used crafted paper which my friend sent me from London.I like them so much.

Let's begin.

And the first chapter is- Runes.

This page you've seen before.

This is runic alphabet and here I found out which is my personal rune. This is Ehwaz.

Here I have some easy runic symbols. First is for success, second for love, for joy and for health.

Here I have some information about Nornes. I told you about them in my video about Runes, so if you missed it, go and check it out!

Here I printed a picture of three Nornes sitting near Yggdrasil Tree and weaving the threads of fate.

Unfortunately I can't show you what is written here, because here I wrote my wish and as you understand, this runic symbol is for your wish to come true.

I started a Runic Calendar. This one is for January.

This one is for February.

And this one is for March.

At the beginning of the month I draw a calendar and I pull out runes and complete with the results the calendar.

Each of the rune is the rune of that day of the month.

Also I take one rune that will symbolize the rune of the whole month.

Here I have runes and stones associated with each of the rune.

For my personal rune goes Morion ( Black quarz)

I have to find it because I have no Morions in my collection.

Here I tried for the first time to draw crystalsю Sorry if they are not perfect.

Next comes Mimir's head Alignment.

From Scandinavian Mythology, Mimir is a giant who protects the source of wisdom.

This alignment shows the problem and it's roots.

Mosquitoes - Fiona CommeDansShrek - Duration: 4:29.

Welcome to the hunger Games

May the odds be ever in your favor

Hey, you know what, I have a special blood

Not type O negative, not type AB, not very cool

Everybody says I have a sweet blood

Are you a vampire, did you already taste it ? No

All those repellent, they never work on me

I am like a shield for the people around me

All the prowlers nearby are attracted

The candles smell good, but I got bitten

I attract the blood suckers

The moquiiiitoes

because of my blood

I've tried everything, some essential oils

B vitamins, and lemongrass spray

I'm the only one wearing long pants on summer nights

And as usual, my feet were the target

Someone tell me, careful: water retention

Your ankles are swelling, you should drink some water

I pity everyone I gave my blood to

They'll become murderers, I'm 100% sure

I make them turn on their heads

they fly around me

Like the weird guys at parties

they look at me top-down

The mosquitoes, they sting and come back as fast

In the meantime I'm don't fight and run very far

I am not peaceful when I don't hear them anymore

A slap, it grazes, I got bitten on my butt

Hey you, do you think you're a tiger ?

With your badass roar or because you frighten us ?

Each summer evening, you prevent us from sleeping

Even during heatwaves, you make us think

I attract the blood suckers

The moquiiiitoes indefinitely

I roll up like a spring roll, I elaborate strategies

I light a candle away, even if I'm lazy

I feel like a soldier, in a cover up mission

Without thinking twice, you already stinged me on the face

Against violence, I open a window

I fell in a trap, I let in the enemy

You thought you were a stuff animal ? Inviting yourself in my bed ?

I hear a silence, I changed my mind

Little mosquito pumping me out

the price will be high

For every liter of blood sucked

you'll have to pay

No, not a foot is out the the blanket

A book in my hand, I'm ready

You want to call your friends, are you sure ?

Tomorrow morning, they will be marks on the walls

While looking at my arms this morning

I'm dealing with a group of drunk girls

3 bites in one minute, these bitches have voted

I received the "flavor of the year" award

I make them turn on their heads

they fly around me Like the weird guys at parties

they look at me top-down

I attract the blood suckers

The moquiiiitoes indefinitely

I attract the blood suckers

The moquiiiitoes becaue of my blood

They make me dizzy

They turn around me

Like the weird guys at parties

they look at me top-down

Subscribe and don't forget, you are all AMAZING

BJJ: A sweep from half-guard wrapping the leg - Duration: 4:51.

(upbeat music)

- This week we are going to work on some sweeps

from the half guard when I'm far from my opponent.

Okay?

So here, the guy try to pass the guard

with the knee on my belly,

so first thing, and it's very important,

to have a good grip behind his legs you hold his belt

or gi, anything you want, anything you have,

anything he gives you.

If he gives you one belt, hold one belt.

If he gives you two belts, hold two belts.

If he gives me this side of the gi,

I hold this side of the gi.

The other side, which I think is the best one,

I hold this side of the gi.

Why do I think this side is good?

Because, when I hold here sometimes he's going to

I'm going to be able to break his posture holding from here.

Okay?

So, now I'm going to show an important detail

that sometimes people miss, the grip.

Because we hold too high.

So when I hold too high, he's able to come here and pull.

Pull this from my hand.

So I like to hold in the end of the gi.

Now he doesn't have the grip here,

because when I try to go from the top,

which I have a very good grip.

It's like self defense.

He is, it's easier to take it off

because the weak part of my hand.

So, here I'm strong, so it's different.

Okay, so now I'm here.

I have this grip,

I don't have my back flat on the floor,

and first of all this is a very good grip,

I call it's like a, it's like a seatbelt.

When I have this grip here, I'm safe.

He can even try to pass my body, again,

pass my guard.

I can just turn around, bang on the floor,

and go forward, or even put him back on the guard.

So what I mean, as soon as I grab the grip, I'm fine.

I'm happy because I'm safe.

He will not pass my guard.

90% of the time, I'm going to be able to hold him,

or to repeat the guard.

So, okay, so here the very first one,

when the guy is far from me,

I get my grip, okay?

And now, one important thing, my opponent

will always try to grab my gi to pull me

and put my back on the floor.

So, in the beginning, I always try to hide my arm

so he's not able to pull it.

Okay, as soon as I'm safe, now I go to the attack.

Now I can show my arm and hold his knee inside.

I hold the ...

You can hold the pants, or if you want

just grab the leg.

I like holding the pants,

and in the other side,

which I'm going to show you better later,

I'm going to use my right foot to help me opening his foot.

So I have a better leverage.

So I'm going to open his foot and throw him down.

St Mark's Basilica, Doge's Palace, Procuratie - Bella Italia #25: Venice - Duration: 16:06.

Welcome to a new episode of Bella Italia. Honestly this is a very important episode for me. Venice is finally open. We have worked long for this.

With me is Fatih. You have played an important role. Tell us all about it.

- I built three big and well known buildings. The Rialto Bridge,

the Procuratie and the Doge's palace.

- How does it feel to have built three of the most important buildings in Venice ? - I am a bit proud.

- Have you heard what the visitors think? Me personally, standing here and looking at the Procuratie and

the Doge's palace... it looks amazing.

The Doge's palace is right at the edge of the display so the visitors can see everything, how does that feel?

And what did you hear?

- Well, it feels really great and the visitors love it - the small details and these statues on the palace.

- Which were the most important phases constructing the Doge's palace to make it look like this?

- First there is a lot of research.

Looking at photos, printing them and then figuring out how to realize it all.

Then you get the individual parts, sort them and start in babysteps.

- You built three buildings. Are you really fast or why did they give you three important buildings?

- This was not the original plan.

Originally it was just one building and then it became more and more.

I was very motivated and wanted to pull this through. Of course it was a bit stressful here and there

and there were times I wanted to quit, but we had to stay on track.

- I must say, Fatih was seen here mostly

when I came in in the morning and I saw him when I left at night.

It makes you feel a little bad as an employer. I believe you gave everything you had, right?

- Yes, definitely.

- Now that it is done, have you fallen into a hole or are you happy to be over with it?

- I am really happy and relieved. I can get some sleep now. - And some time soon there will be Monaco.

- It goes on and on.

- In this episode we want to show you something extra.

First there will be a time lapse video of some beautiful pictures.

After that we will be talking to Amir Pedram about the illumination of the Doge's palace

and I helped Michel a little with building the Basilica di San Marco.

From the Procuratie directly to the Basilica di San Marco and

Michel and I just realized something terrible. We just realized we have kept the Basilica from you.

We have so many great construction pictures. But it was never featured in Bella Italia, right?

- No.

Unbelievable! Well, we have great pictures and will show them right after this.

Here it is, almost finished. Something is still missing, what a fantastic building, we should really take a closer look.

But today we have a different subject.

Michel, what is missing?

- There are crosses on top of the bulbous spires.

We want to make them today and you will also be trying to solder one of those crosses.

- You will see just how beautiful it has become in the following pictures . And right now we will check my soldering skills.

Sven gave me the first parts and I have glued them together. This is the first floor of the Basilica.

We are building up in three stages. I will start dying now, which is challenging in this case.

We have different marble. Shades of red, green, grey and brown.

Michel is working on St. Marc's Basilica here.

I am helping him a little by painting the mosaics which can later

be inserted into the Western face. And now I will show you how these beautiful little paintings are done.

First I have to research pictures of mosaics.

That is not as easy as it looks. Next I will make this one here.

There is a Latin inscription I have to research, to make sure everything is correct.

Then I have my work materials. Normal acrylic based model building colors.

I will only use primary colors to make it look more authentic.

And very small paint brushes and extremely thin pencil.

As you will see, the level of detail will be restricted to

the faces being dots. More than that is not possible.

The domes are part of the Basilica. I have five of them and they are

built up in layers. You can see it pretty well here.

These are routed layers,

which are stacked and glued together. I have primed them black from the inside.

And beige from the outside with some light blue.

I will pigment them today, I have already prepared one.

This one is basically ready.

The ring, the stucco strips, the lower part and the windows still need to be attached.

This is the plan for today.

first I will add a little blue going downward

to intensify the color.

Afterwards I do the same upward with the ocher to get closer to the result.

The dirt is almost ready. This is rain water, running down.

And here, by the window, there is a spot where rainwater gathers.

It makes another little black smudge of dirt running down.

Down there, surrounding the windows, I still have to attach the stucco strips. Those are here.

They go all the way around and later the windows are inserted.

I still have to dye the lower ring, age it like here.

To make everything look harmonious.

And then I can attach the dome and we're through with it so far.

Now I have glued it together with dichloromethane as usual.

Great tower, fits together well with the other one.

I still have three to go, that will take some time. I think two more days and then we will see.

For me this is the highlight of the building. But something is missing. The tops, these antennas.

These lightning rods, or what are they?

- Yes, those are crosse there on top.

- And Michel said I should build one of those too.

So I will build one of these five? - Yes, of course.

- And how do we do it?

- We want to build these crosses, on the picture you can see, that

they each consist of three poles which are bent apart at the top.

Therefore we will start with three brass poles.

And attach them. Then they will be soldered and bent. Later we stick on the pearls.

First you lay them out and attach them.

Then you put the soldering liquid in the middle.

Then we use the pliers to bend them outward after seven millimeters.

Those in the middle can stay.

It already looks like the middle of the cross.

- Again only the outer ones?

- No, this time the middle ones as well.

We will need these for the other ones,

to attach the flag and at the bottom they will be stuck into the bulbous spire.

- Do I already have the shakes? Ah, okay, I held to far up front.

- Okay, and the beauty of it is,

since it goes in all directions, you can do it again.

And this is the tricky part, because it often falls apart again, if it becomes too hot.

- I must say, this is a real challenge. Son of a gun.

I am not the youngest. You become a bit shaky once you get older and the eye sight deteriorates.

- Here are two, you can practice. No problem at all.

- I got one.

Here it is.

I was afraid I'd have to do this one over again.

And I seriously shall glue this one as a cross here?

- Yes, exactly.

It's a dream. What am I doing here?

- It won't stay together.

- Yes, yes, exactly.

- show a close up of his grin, I can't interpret his grin.

- I am awe struck.

- Even though he's making fun of me, to me this result is already sensational.

When he told me what to do, I told him he was crazy.

- here I was showing off, and now this.

- But yours is at least straight and has a lot less soldering fluid. Look at mine.

- It's a dream.

-But not that bad, right?

- Not bad for soldering the first time like this, it could really be worse.

- Could be worse.

Can someone write a comment on the meaning of "could be worse", is that praise or

total crap?

- And then you simply glue some pearls to this.

Not bad, this little jumper. Come here little pearl..

- Since you did such a fine job you may continue with mine.

- Honestly, if you look at this, I wasn't half bad.

But we realized: I am impatient, I am all thumbs and where I am a hobby model builder Michel is

a true professional. Chapeau to his calm...

And his is so even. You have to look at these, he already completed a few.

In secret.

This is amazing. It's important for me to see it every now and then, to take part in building and realize how much it is.

No wonder it took 30-40.000 hours to build Venice

if you give such attention to detail.

Brilliant. Check out how he attaches those five on top and then we meet up with Pedram.

He will show us how he created the illumination for Venice.

- No, Jesko, I won't say anything. I'll hold my tounge. I'm not stupid.

I mean, he did a fine job, you know? For it being the first time?

He said so himself, half blind, shakes and all. So not bad despite the circumstances.

And it fits perfectly.

This is Pedram, to me one of the Wunderland's biggest geniuses.

He's been in Germany for two years and with us for one and a half.

and honestly, you are wasting your talent

and worth on the illumination of the Wunderland. Because what is it all that you can do?

- To me it is an honor to be here. It always makes me happy.

The atmosphere and the colleagues, that motivates me.

I am a good learner and in order to become a good learner I first have to

know a lot about math and physics and

about the brain. The more I know about the brain the faster and more effective I can learn

und push onward with evolving.

This is why I became a physicist, an engineer and a brain researcher.

- It is amazing, all the things he knows, keeping in mind how young he is.

We are very proud to have someone like Pedram at the Wunderland. But to make a long story short- you illuminated the Doge's palace.

We already opened it, so you can look inside.

Those of you who often watch Bella Italia and Gerrit's Diary know our technique for lighting.

In this moment it looks really simple.

But it is not. Why?

- Yes, here you can see some cases which

come off easily.

it doesn't take long to illuminate these. Once the LEDs wear off in a few years

you simply take off the roof.

But there is a problem with the two lower floors.

Because they are hard to reach.

The first floor comes off. I have taken it down and worked on it.

But the second floor was really complicated, because it had to be wired from the inside.

- So, it was fiddly?- Exactly.

- You had to reach inside and the floors still need to be detachable.

This means you have to reach the lower floors from here.

That was the challenge. Can you make turn the lights down a little?

We won't make it pitch black, you know this from the Wunderland,

when it gets really dark and it is night for 3-4 minutes.

We won't make it that dark because you wouldn't be able to see.

But like this you can see some the mood of the light.

And this is how it really is. I was lucky enough to have been to Venice before.

I think the warm light transports well, despite the LEDs.

And that is always the challenge with LEDs, to make them

create this warm light as well.

You can see this really well in the Basilica, which I think is great.

Did you plan these beautiful shadows that are cast into the courtyard?

- Yes, that was Kenny's idea. It looks really beautiful.

We tried to realize that. - I think you did a great job.

It fits the complete masterpiece of Venice. The pieces of the puzzle are assembled bit by bit.

And I can hardly wait.

A few more days until Venice is ready. If you look at what

still needs to be done we all are a bit nervous. Pedram on the other hand seems totally relaxed.

It is always a good sign for me when the model builders and technicians are still relaxed

and I am the one being restless. Keep your fingers crossed. There will be another one or two episodes.

And then Venice is finally ready and we will have finished Italy. So stay tuned, keep watching.

That would make me happy. Take care and until then Ciao.
