Waching daily Mar 9 2018

- Eric Siu runs a company called Single Grain.

And in today's video,

he's talking about the worst hire he's ever made.

Let's check it out.

- Hey, my name's Eric Siu.

And I'm the CEO of Single Grain.

And the co-host of the Marketing School Podcast.

And the host of the Growth Everywhere podcast.

So, if you like podcast go ahead and listen.

And if you like growing go ahead and listen.

So, I'm gonna talk about the worst hire I've ever made.

So, I can talk about first where I found this person.

So, this person was actually a referral,

from a very good friend of mine.

Who runs a really cool company.

And well, this person knew what she was talking about.

So, I trusted her feedback.

So, this was why people say referrals are really good.

Most referrals are really good.

But sometimes every once in a while you get burned.

And I actually-

sometimes you might burn other people with referrals.

Because you might not have done enough diligence.

Or sometimes things just might not work out.

So, in this case I was looking for,

a content marketing executive.

This was a couple years ago,

when I first kind of joined this company.

And we're looking to bring on someone to help,

with our content marketing division.

Now, this person came highly recommended.

And well, what happened was I left for a-

about a couple weeks to go to Greece.

So, we trained this person up a little bit.

She was very senior.

She also came with a lot of experience.

Case studies.

Everything just very polished, right.

But, what I learned was that at the end of the day,

if a person's not a culture fit,

it doesn't matter how good they are at their work,

if they're not a nice person,

if they're not a culture fit,

they don't jive,

they gotta go, right.

So, what I found was that,

even though that she did good work.

She would actually end up gossiping behind people's back.

And then she would gossip behind my back too.

But, when I would approach her,

she would have a very, you know nice face,

and everything looks good and everything.

What I found out was when I was gone,

when I was traveling.

She ended yelling at a client during a client meeting.

And we actually lost four clients because of this person.

And then we lost two employees, too.

So, I'm not going to blame everything on her.

I actually had to blame everything on myself for-

you know, there's other variables in play, too.

But, ultimately it falls on me as the leader of the company.

Because when a bad hard comes through,

I'm not gonna blame anyone else, right.

It's the process at the end of the day.

And what we ended up losing,

was close to about a million dollars.

And everything was sort of set back.

Morale was low.

We lost people.

We lost clients as well.

So, it became really nerve-racking.

So, here's the thing when you end up making bad hire's,

it's a compounding effect.

And not only that,

you send a bad message to your entire team.

Even if a person can execute,

And I've learned it from,

even other organizations too.

Even if someone is the best sales person,

they're generating millions and millions of dollars a year.

If they are not a nice person,

if they're not a cultural fit,

they don't deserve to be a part of that company.

Everyone will respect you more,

if you go ahead and part ways.

What I did was, I sat on it too long.

And nowadays I'm much faster,

in terms of making changes quickly.

So, they always say, you know, "Hire Slow, Fire Fast".

It's actually true.

It's gonna help you.

It's gonna help you grow in the long run.

So, again it's not always about performance,

it's about having the right people,

it's about having nice people,

because it's all about people at the end of the day.

That's business, right.

So, I'm keeping it really simple.

It's not about sales.

It's not about marketing.

It's not about all these hacks.

It's about people.

That's what you got to know.

So, hopefully you enjoyed this.

And see you later.

For Women Who Love Makeup! - Create Your Own Customised Makeup Palette Today - 2018 - fabulous50s - Duration: 10:24.

Today I'm going to teach you how to make your very own

Customized makeup palette so you can create colors that suits you so beautifully suture to perfection

I'm so excited to share this with you. It's great fun to do and if you'd like to know how please keep watching

Hi, I'm Schellea this is fabulous 50s a lifestyle channel that celebrates women in their 50s

And if you're a woman in her 50s

Click subscribe and click the bell and you'll be alerted every time a new video comes out so today

we're going to talk about how to create your own makeup palette and I

have been doing this for quite some time, and I've learned how to

Repurpose my makeup that I don't use anymore if you're like me you've probably got a whole makeup drawer

Full of products that you don't use anymore you might not like the colors or

You may have broken something that's amazing and it can't use anymore like I've done with this

Blush, I dropped it and I was so sad so

anyway, this can easily be fixed and all the colors that I've

got but I don't really use anymore you go and buy a whole palette and

You know one you might use and others just they're not just perfect

But I'm going to show you how you can create the perfect

Color by adding little bits of different pigment to create the perfect colors that complement your skin tone

they're going to be the colors that you wish you could find in the shops, but you can't and

one great tip is you can take

something like this

create all of your own personalized colors

and then travel with this so you don't have to put all of your makeup in a bag, so

Here's what you're going to need okay to get started. You're going to need five things to get set up so

You're going to first of all the most important thing

You need is rubbing alcohol and rubbing alcohol is really inexpensive

And this is how we combine everything okay, so rubbing alcohol

You're going to need an empty container

To put all your makeup in once it's combined so this will become my new pallet

Must be shallow so anything that you've got that you can wash out and start from scratch

This is great next you're going to need some brushes to mix your colors

and you're going to need a knife to scrape your colors, so we'll be getting pigment into the

Individual containers to create different colors. I'm going to start off with my favorite

blush color that I dropped so I

Can't use it like how it currently is, but when I add this to it

It becomes usable, and I'm going to put the whole lot in because I love it

And

This is the highlighting part of it

Which is also amazing if you happen to empty one of your whole containers use this

reuse this as your new palette this blush here by shoot Amara is so beautiful but

It's a bit too bright and a bit too sparkly, but I love I love the glow that it leaves so I'm going to take

some of this one and

scrape the color in

Because I love it, but it's a bit too much and what I'm going to do

Is I'm going to mix it with another blush that I have which is too flat?

So I'm going to mix

amount of this

So by adding this color, I'm going to tone down

the brightness of the orange

This is a and eyeshadow. That's orange and again

it's too orange, so I want to tone it down and I'm going to mix it with a

Light color with a bit of Sheen in it so

This I think is going to make my orange so perfect I bought this hourglass

Blush which is beautiful, but it doesn't have enough punch, so I'm going to also

take some of this one out, but I don't wear it enough because it's just not bright enough and

I'm going to mix it with a little bit of

oh

my God my favorite highlighter in the world I

Broke so I'm going to put a little bit of that in there just for fun. I've got this hourglass

What is a theory or light I've got it. I like the effects, but you know it's just one of those things

I don't use so I'm going to add a little bit of this

Just for fun

to see what that does

So then I've also got a light colored eyeshadow that's pretty much nowhere

It doesn't have much pigment, but I'm gonna take it the color

Because it's a really good neutral color and

I'm going to mix it with something. That's a little bit

Darker, so like this color because this will make my blue eyes pop

So I'm just going to mix in a little bit of that, and I'm going to put some more of this in it

Just to see what it does

This is really messy, but it's fun and

The exciting thing is I can do whatever

I want and use whatever you have at home that you're not using anymore, and it doesn't matter if it turns out wrong

okay, I'll take my

rubbing alcohol and

You add a little bit at a time and mix

The first mistake I made was adding too little alcohol

Because it didn't all hold so

I'm going to mix mix mix

Okay, and then I'm going to add this one back where it came from

And then you just Pat it down

And

It kind of feels like noose. I'm going to do the same thing with the highlight that goes with this blush

Get it on gonna party on this is what we do

Okay, so here is the start of a pellet so grab a tissue and

Then you just gently Pat

Okay this does not look attractive

but

Now when I am traveling I can take this palette

I've got my blush my highlighter and three different eyeshadow colors

And it's in one little container and I made it myself

And I'm so excited for it to dry and see how all looks

Okay, this is my eye shadow that was too orange

Okay eyes shadow that to me looks like my perfect orange, and it's gonna have a little bit of Sheen in there and

I'm going to mix it with the blush

It was too lights

I want to add a bit more of this and a bit more of the highlighter

Better that looks so much better

Three colors

Plus another five there that I've created just for me

they've all got a little bit of something different in them and

I

Can keep going and going and going and going until?

And until forever just creating my own colors

There you go spend some time this weekend creating your own

Personalized palette have some fun with it if you enjoyed this video. Please give it the thumbs up and

Thank you so much for watching. I'll see you next week

MY FAVORITE WRITING RESOURCES [CC] - Duration: 5:03.

Hey guys! What's up? It's Lainey, and today I am giving you guys my favorite writing

resources. I really wanted to do this video because I have found so many great

writing resources over the past year that I want to share with other writers

who are looking for things that will help with their creative selves. I have a

list of 6 resources that you can use right now, that are free. Except for one.

That will just get you excited about writing, will help you with writing.

Let's get started. The first one I'm gonna mention is the one that is not free and

it's actually a book that you'll have to buy. If you--if you want to buy it.

Anatomy of Story by John Truby. I've mentioned this now a few times on my

past videos. This is just like, the greatest writing book that I have read.

And I've read a lot over the past several years, especially when I was in

college, and none of them have taught me about storytelling as well as this book here.

It's a great resource I've been reading it in chronological order, but I

mean, you can skip around. What I love about this book is that it gives a lot

of great examples. Often references famous movies like The Godfather and

Star Wars. So if you are familiar with those stories you can apply these

techniques to that being like, "Oh yeah, that's right. That, you know, that's

definitely how it works." However I would recommend this book probably to someone

who has already written a book completely. I feel like it might be a

little overwhelming if you're a first-time writer. I mean you don't have

to listen to me at all. So you can get this if you're a beginner writer too.

I just think you'll get more out of it if you've already written a book. And going

into this maybe to make a new book or to make that book better, this will

definitely help with that. There are actually two YouTubers I wanted to

mention that I think are great writing resources. The first one is Just Write.

He is a video essayist that really breaks down storytelling through TV and movies.

They're great. I love--I love watching them. I never miss an episode. Even if I

haven't seen the TV show, I'll still watch it and I don't care if I get

spoiled. It's just the way he explains things are incredible. I mentioned his

videos in, I think, my NaNoWriMo vlog. I loved the video that he did on why

Christopher Nolan is a great storyteller. That one was great. I really liked

his Game of Thrones ones. I highly, highly recommend him. And there are a lot of

great video essayists on YouTube, his is my favorite, but I also really like

Lessons from a Screenplay. Second youtuber I wanted to mention is Alexa Donne. I just

discovered her channel about a month or two ago and she is a young adult author.

Her first book, Brightly Burning, is coming out in May. She's a great, great,

Authortuber. What I like most about her channel is that she is traditionally

published. So she brings a lot of her knowledge from the traditionally

publishing world to her videos that are just like great. Her videos are

incredible and I really like them. If you are interested in being a traditionally

published author, her videos are definitely the best resource to go to.

Her videos are always well-spoken and really greatly constructed.

She definitely talks about topics that you never really see people talking about.

Because her knowledge is coming from her already experiencing it, or her

experiencing it, or her about to experience it. So I really, really love

her videos and her insight. The next resource I'm going to talk about is

another author and that is Tomi Adeyemi. And she's the author that's... the

biggest book, I feel like, the most anticipated book of the year is the

Children of Blood and Bone. She has an incredible writer resource for people.

And if you just go to her website and, I think, it's like on the far right hand

side it says "for writers" and just says "start here." If you sign up for her

writing newsletter you get access to this incredible writing library of

resources that she has created for other writers. A lot of them are character

worksheets and other worksheets to help dissect your story and stuff.

I definitely would recommend you guys doing that and getting access to her

writing library. Yes. The last two resources I'm going to talk about are

podcasts. The first one is my favorite podcast and that is 88 Cups of Tea

hosted by Yin Chang. I love this podcast. I'll just sit and listen to it as I'm

doing my other things. I was like listening to it while I was cleaning one

day. It's great because she has a lot of young adult authors talking about their

craft. I stay in the realm of the adult authors, but she also interviews other

industry professionals as well as Hollywood industry professionals as well

because she has a connection to Hollywood. I would recommend listening to

the Leigh Bardugo one. Anything Leigh Bardugo just says. I could listen to her cite her

grocery list, I'd be fascinated. I really liked Sabaa Tahir's and Marie Lu's

interviews. As well as Victoria Schwab's is really great. It's great because it

gets you excited about your craft. The last one is kind of

in the same vein. It is First Draft Podcast hosted by Sarah Enni. She's also a

young adult writer. Kind of the same setup. She interviews a lot of young adult writers

as well. I love listening to other writers and authors talk about their

craft, so both of these podcasts are like right up my alley.

That's it for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed it and I hope you guys maybe

found some resources that you haven't checked out before. Again, all of them are

down below that you can just click on and get access to. Are there any

resources that you guys like to use, I'd love to know. I'm always looking for new

resources for writing. I will see you guys very soon,

bye!

Bad Habits Book Tag [CC] - Duration: 9:45.

Hi everybody, it is Julie. Welcome back to Page and Pens. Today I'm here with a

tag video and it is the Bad Habits Book Tag. I was tagged by Maddie over at The

Book Pusher, I will have her listed down below as well as the Creator who I don't

know off the top of my head. Chapter Barabara, Barbara our bar bar bar

a bar. Oh God. Alright, so let's just jump right

into these questions. There are ten of them and I'm gonna be running through

them as quickly as possible. I did pull books because I don't feel like being

like the person that has to put pictures up here because I am lazy.

All right, so first up is binge drinking. It''s a bad habit, one that I indulge in

at least twice a month when doing live shows. An alcoholic book character. So

Maddie and I believe Ali both said that Hamish and then also Monty from the

Gentleman's Guide To Vice and Virtue but I'm picking somebody else. Anna, Anna Witt. She

is the daughter of the sin of not gluttony,

but like addiction. Like literally drinking. If she starts drinking she's

like it's all over. So this girl is gonna be really really careful about her

drinking. She tries to not to drink because like one of her things that

she's supposed to do as like a part-demon

is get people to overindulge in drinking and then get into trouble and

cause chaos. So she needs to be very very careful around her booze. Number two is

biting your nails, which is a book that you're very nervous to read or were

nervous to read or that made you nervous. Can you tell I'm nervous just thinking

about it? Today's the 28th of February when

filming this, it's going up in March which means this has started. This is

House of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski Danielewski. This is gonna happen in

March. I'm starting on March 1st and I'm buddy reading this with people on

Twitter and I am terrified because it's like a very mixed media very strange

book. There are like no words on these pages and then upside down portions and

portions you read in a mirror and I've talked about this before and I am

nervous and scared and it's about a haunted house. So like the premise makes

me nervous, the format makes you nervous, like all of it makes me nervous. But I am

reading that tonight. Good lord, Bad habit is unhealthy eating. That is a bad habit

however like Ali (because I saw this in earlier today which reminded me that

I've been tagged forever ago) it's a book about eating disorders, which is not a

bad habit that's an illness. Unhealthy eating is a bad habit,

eating disorders not a habit that's an illness. But I did pick a book that I had

read recently for ContemporaryAThon. which is Anya's Ghost, which is a

graphic novel. And in this you've got a girl with body

dysmorphia who definitely limits her eating. Like in an unhealthy way. In the

beginning and it's never addressed like this is not a good representation of

eating disorder in a book, because it goes wholly unaddressed, You definitely

see her at one point in the graphic novel looking at herself in a mirror and

she's seeing something very different than what is actually her body type.

Definitely does not have a healthy relationship with eating. So I'm gonna go

with that book. And then staying up late- if that's a bad habit guys like if

that's the worst one you have kudos cuz that's not that bad -is the book that

I read well into the night. If you watched my ContemporaryAThon vlog you'll

know I read a lot at night but this book I think I finished and was crying over

at like 1:30 in the morning. I got so close to the end and I couldn't put it

down because I want it to finish it. So like I read this really late into the

night so that I could actually finish the vlog and I couldn't go to bed not

knowing how it ended. So I stayed up pretty late to finish this one. This is

This Adventure Ends by Emma Mills and this is a fave of mine. It's like a new

top-five fave of life and I'm so thrilled that so many of you have picked

this up since I talked about it because I really really really loved it and I

hope it holds up for you guys too. It's a contemporary, it's not full of like

meaning and intrigue, it's not a thinking people's book but it is so cute and so

great and I loved the friend group. I'm gonna stop talking about it cuz I could

keep talking about it, but I really liked it. Kept me up super late.

Procrastination: a book that I really want to read but I just keep putting off. Yeah The Beauty of

Darkness by Mary E Pearson. I'm this far in. I have a bookmark in here guys like

it's it's in here, which is at page 73. I picked this up in January and then

February was contemporary month so I didn't pick it up and then I made a

March TBR and this wasn't on it. I don't dislike this series but I don't love it.

Like it's not keeping me gripped and then when I get back into it if I really

dedicate myself to just reading this I know I'm gonna love it I love it. Every

time I pick it up and really stay invested, but if I pick it up and put it down

pick it up and put it down, I don't think about it again and that's

a bummer because when I pick it up I really really love it. So I need to

finish this at some point because this series has been like looming over me for

so long and I really enjoy it when I read it. I just I don't know why I'm

dragging my feet but I'm not finishing this like, ever. So I need to get to that.

And then swearing. Oh man if that's a bad habit... I curse a lot. So this is a book in

which an author or character uses colorful language. One of the reasons

that I really really loved Little & Lion by Brandy Colbert

is because the characters curse their teenagers and they say fuck. Because you

know what? Teenagers say fuck. So this one I actually made notes in here like "yes

thank you YA where characters can actually curse because that's something

that teenagers do". I mean a lot stuck out to me about this book, I did really enjoy

this book, thank you for cursing in YA, I doesn't bother me

because it's realistic. Smoking:a book that I couldn't get enough of aka

nicotine and/or is legit to cancer. So this book is not bad I actually really

liked this book and this is one that's not necessarily addicting but I did read

this while I was nannying in the month of February. So you can

check out my wrap-up for more information on this one. I should have

probably been hanging out with the kids a little bit more than I was and I would

like sneak off upstairs while they were like playing or watching TV or like

happy and read some of this. It's not a premise that I thought I was going to

love as much as I did because it's about a girl who's like hardcore into surfing

and then she moves to a landlocked area and she gets into skateboarding a little

bit. I don't care about surfing. I don't care about skateboarding. I cared so much

about this character and her family though it's not even funny. This one was

way more addicting than I thought it was going to be and I'm really glad that it

was because I end up really enjoying this read. I still gave it 4 stars, it

wasn't like perfection, but it was really really cute and I liked it.

Overspending: is an expensive book that I bought. I bought Strange the Dreamer

pre-order by Laini Taylor because I love Laini Taylor's writing. I love her

Daughter Of Smoke and Bones series, it's back here and The Night of Cake and Puppets.

Really really loved it. Loved her writing and I wanted to read this ASAP. I still

haven't read. So I pre-ordered this full price and

then still haven't read it. It's not a book outlet book, it's not something I

got like half price somewhere, paid full price because I needed it ASAP and then

still haven't read it which grates on my nerves. And then lying: a book that I lied

about having read. And I don't have one of these. I think that this has showed up

in another question as well and a lot of people use like reading in school or

telling a teacher that they read in a sign reading when they didn't. I was the

girl who was always so terrified that the teacher would know I was lying that

I read everything. I don't think I ever did that and I don't think I've ever

come on here and been like "oh yeah I totally read that" and I didn't. So yeah, I

don't think so. And then speeding: a book that I read really really fast. And that

one I'm using this bad boy. This is We Were Liars by E Lockhart, which is also

very small. I reread this recently and annotated it for a Throwback Thursday

and I loved it. I read it really really quick. I read this in like a day like 24

hours but I think I split it up between two days. But even the first read of this

I read really quickly because I think I read it in one day the first time I read

it because I was so intrigued and so invested in the characters and in the

story and because it was so short I knew if I stopped like I might as well just

keep pushing and read it. So I read this one really quick. I also read This

Adventure Ends really quickly as well. I tend to read contemporaries a lot

faster than fantasy, which is pretty normal. I also read very fast. What did I

read? The Mistake by Elle Kennedy. Right? That's who wrote that. That was like one

of those hockey smutty books- book two of the Off Campus series. Read that super

super fast because there's not much to it, it's just fun. So I finished both

of those. And that is everything for the Bad Habits Book Tag. I will tag some

people down below. You guys know how I do this. I just kind of go through my feed

and whoever I haven't tagged in a while, I tag. So check yourself down there and see

if I've tagged you in this one. You guys know I get tag anxiety. So I can't

come up with things at the top of my head because it scares me. But those have

been my bad habit books. Let me know down below if you had a different answer for

any of these or if you agree with some of my answers for these. I'd love to know

your thoughts. And if you liked this video be sure to give me a big thumbs up,

click subscribe, and I will see all of you in my next video. Bye, guys.

Essence Of Murli 10-03-2018 - Duration: 7:29.

Om Shanti !

Today's Murli Date is 10th March 2018

( Sweet Sweet Baapdada while introducing self to we children says," I have come to this world to hand over your inheritance, which is your right )

( Lets hear further... )

Essence:Sweet children, God has come to give all devotees the fruit of their devotion,

to show them the destination of liberation and liberation-in-life.

You devotees have now become children.

Question: In which awareness should you children remain so that the drums of happiness continue to beat?

Answer: Always have the awareness that the most beloved Baba has come

to make you into the masters of the world and emperors of emperors.

You are now becoming sun-dynasty kings and queens.

Baba is making you ever healthy and wealthy for 21 births.

Everything will be first class in your golden-aged kingdom.

Even the elements will be satopradhan.

Both souls and bodies will be beautiful like flowers.

By your having this awareness, the drums of happiness will continue to beat.

Essence for dharna: 1. Remain engaged on the spiritual pilgrimage.

Make both the soul and the body beautiful like a flower. Have your sins absolved.

2. Maintain this awareness: We are directly following God's directions

and are instruments for the service of making Bharat elevated and human beings into those who have divine virtues.

Blessing: May you give respect to everyone by having self-respect and being humble and thereby become a soul who is worthy of being worshipped.

The children who maintain imperishable self-respect become worthy-of-worship souls.

However, to the extent that you have self-respect, you must also remain humble.

Let there be no arrogance in your self-respect.

( arrogance like "i am Babas child" should also not be there. Rather there should be attitude that like Baba i should be humble and serve others )

Do not think that you have become elevated and that others are junior and you have feelings of dislike for them; no

No matter what those souls are like, regard everyone with mercy, not arrogance.

Such humble souls would regard everyone with soul-conscious vision, and regard everyone with elevated vision and give them respect.

They would not disrespect souls.

Slogan: Continue to be sustained and fly with BapDada's blessings of love; this is elevated effort.

How to Cut and Paste Lining Paper - Duration: 5:03.

Hi I'm Barry we've now cut all the lengths of the wallpaper that we need to

line our ceiling and if you refer back to one of our other videos you'll see

how we actually did that and I've got a link to that on this video. So we've got

the pace we've got the wallpaper all down

we've overlapped it so it's just over the edge okay so we don't get any pasted

on our table and then I've mixed up some paste I'm just going to roll it on and

I've shown you how to do that before, but again I'm just going to show you the how

to do the concertina folds that we use for actually doing this and we use this

fold for long lengths of paper, ceilings, and like, staircases maybe, but it's a

really effective fold it's nice and easy to manage. Okay so I'm just going to paste

two up very quickly okay and then I'm just going to show you how we're gonna

I'm not going to put a full piece on to this little section that we've got here

I'm going to trim it down and I'll show you a way of doing that as well. So we're

just going to roll this on

okay the beauty of using the rollers it makes it nice and even it's also very

quick okay so just check that you've got it

all pasted and don't be afraid of putting any paste on it okay because

then it will see misses and patches that it doesn't stick properly okay and then

it can soak on evenly as well and it's good good paper to practice on this

lining paper don't forget if you're using a brush don't brush back in always

brush outwards and then it's our concertina fold okay so I'm gonna come

to about here I think, so just don't make them too big initially okay and

then as you lift it up just give it a whack see if it starting to crease there

okay, so just I'm doing it slowly okay let's put your hand down and if you

haven't got it quite on there- if I just do it wrongly or incorrectly haven't

quite got it there you can put your hand on it and just twist it- so it's all

correctly aligned and it soaks at the same time and it was soak evenly so

pull it over now

a final piece here just fold that up. So we'll give that a good few minutes

okay before we actually put that one up but I'm just going to trim this now so

you can see again we don't take this full length up there because it's only a

short piece if you remember just where 290 mm okay some flatten these down a

touch I'll show you a little technique I've actually how to cut it okay

into good something to practice because you don't need me marking it with them

with a pencil okay especially if you've got a like a finished patterned paper so

I'm just going to spin this around just makes it a bit easier for me. Got the

tape measure we'll put it on right on the edge of this table here it's nice

and straight and then because he said 29 mil I want to give myself a bit of a

chance so my make it sort of like 33 okay so I'm just gonna run this down the

edge of the table I'm gonna press here on the on the tape measure and I'll run

my finger along the edge of the pace table there

again we don't need to be too accurate this because again we're not trying to

fit it in with and have some excess overhanging because you don't know

how straight the line of the ceiling lines going to be so just pull

this down see I'm pressing and it's creating that mark okay you don't you

can use a pencil on this it doesn't really matter but it's good practice

just for getting used to when you're doing your pattern papers, and then now

just got my scissors

just gonna slip us through these again these are quite long these lengths, and again

we don't need to be too accurate. The way that the paper's positioned or

the way the patterns set or the paper set out we may be able to use this on

some of these are the strips on the other side so we'll keep an eye out for

that and we'll keep this to one side and we'll save it okay right well give this

about five minutes to soak and while that soaking we will paste the others up

so once you've hung this then we can hang the other one that straight

afterwards
