Eating My Way Through Korea ᛫ Jeju Island - Duration: 6:36.
- Hey, guys, it's YB.
I'm in Korea.
It's my first time being back in 10 years.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea,
and then I moved to America when I was 12,
and I came back briefly when I was 14,
but since then, I haven't been back.
The thing is, I'm not in Seoul.
I'm in Jeju, which is like the island of Korea.
My parents moved here,
and it's actually my first time being in Jeju.
I'll do what I do best, eating.
So, I'll show you guys what I eat on this island
and all the experiences I have.
So, come with me.
So, for breakfast, we went to Paris Baguette.
In Korean, it's Paris Baguette
It's a bakery super popular in Korea.
I think there are some in America too,
but they're Korean bakeries.
They had some of the breads I used to grow up on.
This is one of them.
See, it's shaped like Hawaiian bread,
but inside there's kind of cheese layers in it.
There is this pastry with sweet potatoes in it, really good.
This is my favorite, it's called soboro-ppang.
It's known for the bumpy crust,
and it tastes like peanut butter.
This is tteokbokki, spicy rice cake along with fish cake,
dumplings, and boiled eggs.
This one also has ramen in it.
Korean fried chicken.
This one is sweet and spicy, called gangjeong chicken.
This one is a regular fried chicken called huraideu
and my favorite, soy sauce chicken.
It's called ganjang chicken.
They're crunchy and juicy with perfect amount of salty,
and we ate two whole chickens.
So, Cheju-do is a volcanic island,
meaning it was formed by volcanic eruptions.
That's why there are a lot of rocks everywhere.
(speaking Korean)
So, I got a guide to learn more about the rocks.
It says Jusangjeolli is a column-shaped joint
that commonly develops in basaltic rocks in a lava flow.
These tall statues are all over Jeju
and are called dol hareubang,
which translates into stone grandpa.
They're made from hyunmuam,
the volcanic rocks with holes my mom just talked about,
and they're know to protect the island.
And also, I found out about this
after I posted a picture hugging one of them,
people commented about the statues
very closely resembling a penis,
and apparently there's a myth that dol hareubangs
were indeed shaped after a penis, and if you rub their nose,
you will give birth to a son.

So, we're gonna try black pork today.
In Jeju, it's really famous.
How you tell is there's hair on the meat,
that's how you tell it's the black pork.
Looks like regular pork belly.
Wow.
So chewy, super tender, so good.
- Mm!

- This is seafood heaven.
Sushi buffet, all you can eat.
Here we are at Hamdeok Beach.
Look how clear the water is!
It's still a little cold to go swimming,
but didn't stop me from getting in the water.
Here is nakji-bokkeum which is spicy octopus,
nakji-pajeon, which is Korean pancakes with octopus,
and dumpings.
You fry it perfectly and very crispy.
You can taste the protein.
This is kalguksu, a traditional Korean noodle dish.
It literally means knife noodles.
Kal is knife and guksu is noodle.
It's made with knife-cut wheat noodles.
Usually, the color's white,
but this one has mulberry leaf, so it's green.
(speaking Korean)
So, now we're at (speaking Korean),
which is Seogwipo's National Recreational Forest.
But this is just actually a small part of Hallasan,
which is a mountain in Jeju,
and Hallasan is the highest mountain in South Korea.
So, for dinner, we'e going to (speaking Korean),
which is apparently really famous for mackerel sashimi,
which is very uncommon.
It's located at a fishing port in Jeju
called (speaking Korean).
As you can see, there are tons of boats here.
This is the famous mackerel sashimi,
(speaking Korean) in Korean, and all the side dishes here.
They're right from the ocean, so they taste clean and fresh.
The plain seaweed and spiced scallion make perfect combo.
After the sashimi, they give you a mackerel soup.
It's peppery, spicy, and super savory.
So, my mom and I are gonna go get some lunch.
We're gonna go look at Porch.
It's chuk in Korea.
- It's called the Sick Pickle because it helps digestion.
- Yeah, so it's good when you're sick,
but good also when you're not sick.
- These are potato skin dumplings.
And my mom got octopus kimchi porridge.
- Mm, yummy.
- And mine is called maesaengi soup.
Maesangi is a type of seaweed that's in Korea,
that's what makes it green.
Hot, but very good.
Oh my God, look at all these Korean snacks.
This is heaven.
This is one of my favorite snacks, or even a quick meal,
Samgak-gimbap.
It translates into triangle bimpap
like a sushi roll, but triangle.
They sell it at any convenience stores,
and there are many flavors, but this one is tuna.
It's so good.
Welcome to a Korean family feast.
These are just the appetizer side dishes.
The main course is this one,
Maeuntang, which is a spicy fish soup.
The broth is the best with rice.
The giant tower of rocks over there is Oedolgae,
which basically means a lonely rock.
It's 20 meters or 66 feet tall.
It does look a little lonely by itself,
but I think it's beautiful.
So, today's my last day here.
I'm about to go back to L.A.
and I'm really sad that it's come to an end,
but I had so much fun exploring Jeju Island.
I learned so many new things on this island,
and it was great to get back in touch with my culture,
and most importantly, the food was great.

with like a lake and I don't know it's just really fresh over here so we're
just gonna like go for a walk and stuff and she's gonna tell me how to get home
okay so I gotta find chickypie and I think they're in the park somewhere so
and I just somehow like
what's happening I think it's going for the fish guys I think the monsters going
for the fish whoa whoa oh my gosh oh my gosh sure this little monster is like so
small but trying to eat a fish okay she's a professional monster catcher

this park is actually like a pond monster park just filled with monsters

the monster is gonna come get it yeah it looks like a fish in there
whoa did you guys hear that I think there's movement I think he's
gonna come for it okay guys this is so scary
home I guess it's just a waiting game now but there's definitely a lot of
monsters in this pond so we just have to wait until one bites on this catfish oh
I'm so scared jeepers you don't run off doesn't be
careful - by your feet okay my momma okay okay okay okay so it looks like
we're getting on this boat and we're gonna go try to find the monster cuz I
think they're all in the water right now and he said that we're only allowed to
put two people on so this is so hard for me to hold the camera and steer all I'm

monster okay see you guys in a bit okay I think we spotted one he's right there
oh my gosh okay guys he's right there right in front of us look how big he is
I don't think you guys can see how big he is cuz half of his body submerged
under water he's so big

know that was pretty big so I don't know how we're gonna find one that's even
bigger
I'm so tired we've been paddling for so long and we haven't been able to find
any except for that one we spotted so I think we're gonna get off this bow and
probably go find one by foot again but these monsters are so big and scary and
I just want to show you guys how big they are but they're all hiding I think
it's like really hot in the Sun so I think they're just hiding in the water
but chickypie says she's a professional so she knows where she can find them so
she's gonna show me one more place and hopefully we can see one okay we are
getting off this boat that was so hard y'all did you see any no oh no okay so
we couldn't find any but we're gonna do one more search trying to find one so oh
no I guess we're gonna have to go look what is that what is that thing oh I
picked myself what is that where's Connor right now if you guys see that
thing what what are these there's so much movement guys there's so many
monsters here this is so crazy I did not realize this park was just filled with
all these animals and monsters like no wonder chickypie is a professional like
she needs to survive here somehow oh there's a baby one oh so little whoa I
think what they do is they climb the trees and look for eggs and crack open
the eggs and eat it look at that what is that thing
Oh even the baby ones scare me us hey leaves I think is too like a baby
Dino ho yes what if it's a baby dinosaur look at that thing if you see a baby
yeah yeah you're right there's a baby that means there has to be a mom which
means the mom is probably a huge 100
guys look at that one he's in the water he is a big whoa wait chicken boy can
you okay oh look at me he looks like a crocodile oh my gosh guys do you think
that's the monster that's living in our pond like I feel like it looks exactly
the same as the one in our pond I don't know what if it's one of these lizards
are so scary okay so actually we ended up finding a huge one I think it's been
following me around and it's been sneaking around which is why we haven't
been able to see it but he can't see us right now but we can see him he's right
there
look how big he is guys whoa Cher's look at it so big it's like a huge water
dinosaur he must be getting some food under the water or something
so scary
whoa oh he's in the water he's in the water
Oh guys he's totally submerged all you could see is his tail and okay I really
think that's the same creature that's in our pond because the pond monster in our
pond is amphibious so you can go in the water and out of water and he has like a
nest outside the water so no this animal looks like it's the perfect match I
think it's the same exact one in our pond top I'm on leave sleep eat now
so he sleeps a lot and he a lot okay so he sleeps lying to eat sloth so I think
right now he's trying to find some food so he's completely under the water look
do you guys see him that is so scary I think that's the thing that's been in
our pond whoa his claws are so sharp I don't know
if you guys could see from here but his claws are so sharp I definitely hurt me
I don't have that much money
I'm in Canada okay yes you you have to line a board I'll take a bow take a bow
okay so this is Thailand not the u.s. I asked to take a boat in order to get
back home yes because I don't have that much money

I got the sunnies, I got my roses for Rosie,
and I got some makeup.
The possibilities are endless.
The ideas that really came to me
because of the gorgeous flowers was like
wood nymph, fairy, or even Grecian goddess.
And so I went to one of my secondhand stores
that's literally around the corner from where to live.
Lo and behold, I found a Grecian goddess dress.
Chloris was the Grecian goddess of flowers.
I know inside I have a goddess.
- I never would have been like fountain, yes.
- The shot really super exceeded any expectation.
Did it, done, check, unboxing challenge.
- Ooh okay.
- I like how passionate she sounded when she was talking.
It came from a creative place in her
which is amazing to see.
- Rosie for sure looks like a goddess.
Composition wise, I think this looks good.
Lighting, I'm guessing in the middle of the day
because it looks very harsh but I'm okay with it.
- I feel like there could have been more focus on her
versus her big dress.
- I do love that for the creative aspect,
that she drew on her arm
rather than just wearing the makeup.
And then feed-worthiness,
I think I would probably like this picture.
- I would like it for the extreme she went for it,

that I would save for inspiration.

this lighting is beautiful.

It looks really high quality.

and I feel like if she toned it down a little bit,
then she would be more wow-ing.

So the blue crayon inspired me to dye my hair.
I think it's the perfect color.
The roses are for sure my biggest challenge this week.

the best thing that I could come up with was to
wrap the roses around the hula hoop.

As far as creativity, I like that she
randomly threw that garland on a hula hoop.

What I really like about this
is that you can tell this is his aesthetic.
Composition wise, if he used filters, I think,
it's pulling a little bit really warm to me.
I think it could be cooler.
Otherwise, I think the lighting's great,
and I really like this angle too.
Creativity, I personally really love that
he just threw the garland up there.
He used the other things what they were meant for,
so it's all pretty standard.

Merhaba Kült TV'nin araştıran insanları Şimdiye kadar yaptığım araştırmalar
arasında beni en çok sarsan araştırmalardan bir tanesi ile karşınızdayım. İnsanoğlu
tarih boyunca geleceği hep merak etmiştir. Bu açlıktan dolayıda ortaya kahin diye
adlandırılan kişiler çıkmış, gelecek hakkında tahminlerde bulunmuştur. Ancak
bu sefer ki çok başka eğer gelecekte neler olacağını öğrenmek istiyorsanız videoyu
izlemeye devam edin. Kısa bir süre önce saygın ve tarafsız
bir İngiliz haber portalı olan Express çok ilginç bir haber ve bazı ses dosyaları
yayınladı. Habere göre Geçtiğimiz sene Amerika'da bir temizlik işçisi olan 34
yaşında ki Jack Nilson çalıştığı binanın uzun yıllardır kullanılmayan depo bölümünü
temizlemesi ve yeni gelecek malzemelere yer açması için görevlendirildi. Deponun anahtarı
bir türlü bulunamadı ve çilingir yardımı ile kapı açıldı. Başka bir temizlikçi
arkadaşıyla içeriye giren Nilson pek çok kırık dökük eşyanın arasında bazı
eski tip plaklar buldu. Görünüşe göre bu plaklar çoktan kapanan eski yerel bir
radyonun kayıtlarıydı. Bazıları tamamen kullanılmaz haldeydi. Antikacıdan edindiği
bir plak çalarla sağlam görünen plakları dinlemeye başladı ve hayretler içerisinde
kaldı. Çünkü radyo programı 1933 yılında yayınlanmıştı ve o tarihten itibaren 2133
senesine kadar gelecekte yaşanacak olaylardan bahsediyordu. İşin garip yanı bahsedilen
olayların günümüze kadar yaşanan zaman diliminde ki kısmı çarpıcı şekilde gerçekleşmişti.
Bunların başında 1933 senesinde yayınlanan bu programda 2. Dünya savaşının çıkacağı
ve almanlar tarafından çıkartılacağı, 1945 senesinde savaşın Almanlar'ın yenilgisiyle
sonuçlanacağı, Churchill'in tekrar başbakan seçileceği. Musatafa Kemal Atatürk'ün
1938 senesinde öleceği gibi akıl almaz doğrulukta anlatımlar var. İşte o programdan
kısa bir kesit.
Az evvel dinlediğinize benzer 20 ayrı kayıt var bunların sadece 12 tanesi dinlenilebilir
durumda. Express adlı İngiliz haber portalı kayıtların orjinalliğini teyit edebilmek
için labaratuarlarda inceletti. Sonuç olarak kayıtlarda oynama olmadığı ve 1933 senesinde
kayıt edildiği anlaşıldı. Peki kayıtlarda başka neler vardı?
Express adlı portal kurtarılabilen kayıtların sadece ufak bir kısmını paylaştı. Ancak
paylaşmadığı kayıtlar kısa süre içinde deepweb'e düştü. Spiker olayları zaman
sırasına göre kendi yorumunu da katarak ve kendine has üslubuyla yorumluyor. Örnek
vermek gerekirse. Sevgili dostlarım söylediğim gibi Japonlar İtalyanlar ve Almanlar savaşta
beraber çalışacak ve 1945 te Almanlar yenilecek. Japonlar'ın sonuysa Almanlar'dan daha
hazin olacak. Yunan mitolojisinde ki tanrılara bahşedilen güçlere benzeyen bir güçle
hiçbir asker karaya ayak basmadan Japon şehirleri tamamen eriyip yok olacak. Biliyorum şu an
bunu hayal edemeyip deli olduğumu düşünüyorsunuz ama bana güvenin. Bu programın ardından

lider Stalin ölüyor. Ancak o kadarda sevinmeyin sizlere bu güzel haberi verebilmem için
1950lerin başlarına kadar beklemem gerekecek. O zamana kadar biz Özgür Amerikamızla ilgilenelim.
Teksaslı'lar gerçekten çok çılgın insanlar. Bayanlar baylar eğer şu ana kadar
Teksas'a gidip rodeo yapmadıysanız sizlere mutlaka yapmanızı öneririm. Ayrıca buffalo
pastırması yemeyi de unutmayın doğrusunu isterseniz dünyanın en iyi buffalo pastırması
Teksas'ta yapılır. Ne yazık ki Teksas sonsuza kadar pastırma ve rodeo ile anılmayacak.
60'ların başlarında bu güzel Amerikan eyaletinin yüzü kara olacak çünkü bir
Amerikan başkanı bu şehirde suikaste uğrayarak ölecek. Teksas demişken ve 60 lardan bahsederken
bunu da söylemezsem olmaz. Geceleri aşıkların baktığı romantik Ay düşündüğümüz
kadar uzak değil 60 ların başlarında başkan katili olan Teksas sonlarında da Ay'a giden
bir aracın komuta merkezi olacak. Program boyunca sunucu değişik betimlemelerle Josef
Stalin'in ölüm tarihini, Amerikan başkanı J. F. Kennedy'ye yapılacak olan suikasti
ve Huston Teksas'tan komuta edilen Apollo görevlerin kesin tarih ve yer vererek yıllar
öncesinden söylüyor. Tarih ilerledikçe program daha da garipleşiyor. Bayanlar baylar!
Son programımızda 60 ların sonuna kadar ilerlemiştik. 70'lere hoş geldiniz! Kendinize
içecek bir şeyler alın, arkanıza yaslanın ve rahatlayın size 70lerde icad edilip hızla
gelişecek bir aletten bahsedeceğim. Az öncede söylediğim gibi 70 lerde bir alet yapılacak
ve dünya artık eskisi gibi bir yer olmayacak. Bu alet zaman içerisinde hızla gelişerek
işlerimizi bizim yerimize yapacak. Evlerimizde iş yerlerimiz de hastaneler de bile bu alet
olmaksızın hiçbir şey yapılamayacak. Hatta gün gelecek bu alet vücutlarımızın
içine kadar girecek. Dostlarım biraz daha spesifik olmak istiyorum. Bu alet bizim için
bir hizmetçi değil bir öncü olacak. Hayatın her alanında önümüzü açıp ufkumuzu
genişletecek. Şu anda dinlediğiniz bu yayın bile o zaman geldiğinde bu alet olmaksızın
yapılamayacak. 70lerde dünya başkaca büyük olaylarda yaşayacak elbette savaşlar, barışlar,
kıtlıklar, keşifler, yine de bence en önemlisi bu alet olduğu için 70lerin dünya tarihinde
ki önemi çok fazla. Sunucu programda günümüz bilgisayarının açık bir tarifini yapıyor
zaten anlatıma göre yıllar ilerledikçe konuya tekrar değiniyor diğer programlarında
devam ediyoruz. Bayanlar baylar geçen programda 70 lerde doğacak bir aletten bahsetmiştim.
80 lere geldik. Aletimiz yeni doğmuş bir çocuk gibi büyüyüp gelişe dursun. Henüz
halen dünyada o kadar etkin değilken birazda 80 lerde bizleri nelerin beklediğini paylaşmak
istiyorum. 80Lerin hemen başlarında sevgili papamız bir suikaste uğrayacak. Endişelenmeyin
ölmeyecek! 80lerin ikinci yarısına geldiğimizdeyse, dünya aptal İvanların elinden çıkacak
bir felaketle sarsılacak. Küçük bir Rus kasabasında, bugün henüz bilmediğimiz
türde bir yakıt kullanarak enerji üretimi yapan bir tesiste İvanların aptallıkları
yüzünden büyük bir patlama yaşanacak, Bu büyük patlama neticesinde havaya saçılacak
bazı zehirli maddeler rüzgarlarla pek çok bölgeye taşınarak binlerce insanın ölümüne
ve sakat kalmasına sebep olacak. Kahrolası İvanlar! Neyse ki sonları yakın. Aptallıkları
ve baskıcılıkları yüzünden 80 ler bitmeden kızılların sonu gelecek. Güvenin bana.
Elbette tüm Ruslar ölmeyecek. Yine de birkaç on yıl kendilerine gelemeyecekler. Kayıtların
90'larla ilgili olan kısmı bozuk olduğu için içerisinde neler var bilinemiyor. O
yüzden programın anlattıklarına 2000'lerle devam ediyoruz. Bayanlar baylar! Pencerenizi
açın ve derin bir nefes alın havanın tüm ciğerlerinize dolduğuna emin olun. Çünkü
bu programda 2000lerden bahsedeceğiz. Şahsen en sevdiğim sene. Her şey başlamadan evvel
ki en masum seneler. Size 70 lerde bahsettiğim alet artık hayatın her alanında olacak.
Bir düşünsenize uzak akrabalarınız bile istediğiniz an karşınızda! Elbette bu
durum sevmediğiniz akrabalarınız varsa bir dezavantaj oluşturuyor. Kapatmak sizin
elinizde demek isterdim ama üzgünüm tüm insanlık için hava ve su gibi vaz geçilmez
bir ihtiyaç. Öyle ki bu alet olmaksızın, doğamazsınız, ölemezsiniz, yemek yiyemezsiniz.
Hatta güzel bir viski dahi içemezsiniz. Çünkü bu saydıklarımızın hepsi artık
onun kontrolü ve yönetimi olmaksızın üretilemeyecek. Yine'de henüz insanları yönetmiyor aksine
şimdilik insanlar onu yönetiyor. Bu yüzden şu an için iyi yada kötü olduğu konusunda

ilk yarısında Siyahi Başkanımız halen görevde. 70'lerde peyda olan mucizevi aletimiz
yeterince gelişmesede oldukça gelişti ve küçüldü artık yanımızda taşıyoruz.
Tik Tak Tik Tak! Dostlarım bu anlattıklarım bugün için bizlere ne denli karmaşık gelse
de eğer 2010 ların başlarında ki Amerika'ya ışınlanma şansınız olsaydı, güvenin
bana birkaç ay içinde ayak uydurabilirdiniz. Ancak 2010ların sonundan itibaren kimsenin
kolay kolay ayak uyduramayacağı bir dünya ile karşı karşıya kalacağız. Artık
dünyamız şehirlerimiz hiç olmadığı kadar kalabalık. Büyük bir kıtlık yaklaşıyor.
Dünyanın geleceği için kapalı kapılar arında yapılan parlak planları bu amansız
kalabalık tehlikeye atıyor. Birileri bir şeyler yapmalı! Bu büyük ve riskli bir
oyun. Sonunda 2010'ların sonlarında birileri nüfusu dengelemek için harekete geçiyor.
Bu iyimi olacak kötümü? Karar vermek imkansız. Kayıtların bu kısmı bozuk olduğu için
ne yapılıp nasıl bir eylem gerçekleştirileceğini ne yazık ki öğrenemiyoruz. Ancak gelecek
10 yıl kayıtlarını dinlediğimizde aşağı yukarı bir Fikir sahibi olabiliyoruz. 2020
senesi ile programa devam edelim. Bayanlar Baylar! Son programımızda insanlığın
kimilerine göre kurtuluşunu kimilerine göre sonunu başlatan olayları konuşmuştuk.
2020'lerden itibaren tüm dünya çok acayip bir zaman dilimi yaşıyor olacak. İnsanlar
sağlıklılar ve hastalar olarak 2 ye ayrılacak. İnsanlık arasında ufak çapta ancak her
yerde ve devamlı olarak sürecek bir savaştan bahsetmek delilik olmaz. Teknolojik ve sosyolojik
gelişmeler durma noktasına gelecek. Hükümetler mevcudiyetlerini sürdürmek için parada
dahil her şeyden vaz geçerek yer altına çekilecek. Dünya nüfusu hızla azalacak.
Ayak uydurabilen azınlık sağ kalacak uyduramayanlar yok olacak. Doğrusu hastalıktan fazla insanlar
birbirini imha edecekler. Şehirlerimiz harabeye dönecek. Eserlerimiz toprağa gömülecek.
Tanrıya şükürler olsun! Bu yok oluş 2030ların başlarında duracak, Kalanlar dönüştürülebilir
enerji teknolojileri ile hızla refahı yükseltecek, düzen yeniden sağlanacak. Bu sırada pek
çok ülke tarihe gömülmüş bir çokta yeni ülke doğmuş olacak. Şehirlerimiz
yeniden inşa edilecek! Artık saklanan gerçekler İnsanlıktan kalanlarla paylaşılacak 2030ların
sonlarına doğru yabancı türlerle ilk defa açık şekilde tanışıp benimseyecek hatta
gizliden gizliye yapılan teknoloji transferleri insanoğlunun ulaştığı bu yeni bilinç
seviyesinde artık açıktan açığa yapılmaya başlanacak.
Kayıtların 2040 tan 2060 a kadar olan bölümleri tamamen bozuk ancak 2060tan sonra ki 40 yıllık
kısmında sağlam olduğu söylentiler arasında yine de bunlar henüz deepwebte yayınlanmadı
yayınlandığı takdirde bu kayıtları da sizlerle paylaşacağım. Radyo programı
sunucu hakkında yapılan araştırmadaysa henüz net bir bilgi elde edilemedi. Bahse
konu yerel radyo 1950'lerde kapanmış ve personel kayıtlarına henüz ulaşılamamış.
