Amazing Spider-Man has hit 800 issues.
Dan Slot is wrapping up his 10-year run on the title, but not everyone can celebrate.
Spider-Man is up against his deadliest foe yet and not everyone will survive.
Hey, I'm Brian from BMA Comics Con.
Today we are going to review Amazing Spider-Man #800.

Previously in Amazing Spider-Man: Norman Osborn has been injected with nanites to prevent
him from accessing the Goblin Serum that flows through his blood.
So, he teams up with the Carnage Symbiote to purge himself of Peter Parker's Nano-technology
that blocks his power.
Now combined with Carnage he has become Red Goblin.
Peter fails to defeat Red Goblin and gets a broken leg for his troubles.
So, he calls on the Spider-Family and Friends to help him but Red Goblin doesn't poses
any of the normal symbiote weaknesses and nearly kills everyone of them.
Until Agent Anti-Venom shows up and proves to be his only weakness.
Flash Thompson, Agent Anti-Venom uses all the energy he has to save and heal Peter and
the Super Friends.
Leaving Flash out of commission.
So, Peter races off to stop Red Goblin from killing Mary Jane & Aunt May.
Peter is late getting to each of his loved ones, but luckily 2 of his enemies have redeemed
themselves by holding of Red Goblin until back up arrives.
To try and even the score Eddie Brock gives Peter Parker the Venom Symbiote.
So now Peter races to the old Oscorp building where Red Goblin is trying to get his company
back.
That is where Peter confronts Red Goblin for the last time.
In this fight Norman reveals that he has poisoned half of Spider-Mans friends and family and
could easily kill them with the snap of his finger.
Luckily Flash Thompson was there, and he used his anti-venom powers to remove the poison
that was in Peter's family and friends; even Mary Jane and Aunt May.
This brought Peter & Flash close as Flash reveals that he has learned Spider-Man's
secret identity.
But in the middle of a battle with Red Goblin is no time for a heart to heart moments.
Red Goblin attacks Flash mortally wounding him setting off Peter's rage with makes
him truly turn into Venom.
It is then Flash gives his last words to inspire Peter to calm down and don't let rage consume
him.
Peter calms down although now is the time for rage as Red Goblin has finally learned
that Peter's weakness is all human life not just those close to him.
So Red Goblin goes on a killing spree in Time Square, with his final victim being Peter
Parker.
As his final breath draws closer Peter uses Norman's pride against him and convinces
him that it will forever be known that Carnage killed Spider-Man.
Causing Norman to release him and they both remove their symbiotes and have a final showdown.
First off let me start by saying sorry for just leaving you hanging like that on the
end of the book.
I just realized that I haven't given away the copy of this to the winner so it's possible
at this time not everyone has read the story.
And if that's true, you should have skipped to this part anyway and not have me spoil
everything else.
Comment below if you think going forward I should just spoil the whole issue.
It's a good thing this was an oversized issue because I don't know how they could
have closed this story with a normal 28-page issue.
However, I don't think its fair to call it an 80-page issue if all 80-pages aren't
story.
That would be my biggest gripe with it.
One thing I can't complain about is the character arc the John Jonah Jameson goes
through.
He hits his highs and lows in this issue trying to redeem himself.
I am curious as to how long the deaths of this issue will last.
Those who died, died in a good way that is very fitting and could be permanent.
And if there ever were to be a lasting death in comics it would be in a Spider-Man book.
This issue showed me that Dan Slott knows who Peter Parker is.
And he should he's been writing him for over 10 years.
But all of what make Peter stand out from his with Great Power must come Great Responsibility,
to his nobody dies on my watch attitude, and his is the biggest screw up behaviors are
all present in this issue.
Well I'm sure it was easy to do when you have the length of almost 4 issue to do it
in.
The pacing in this story is fast.
There isn't any down time, but when the Red Goblin has threatened to kill everyone
you love you kind of have to react quickly.
Most of the art for the Amazing Spider-Man wasn't even inside the comic, it was on
the cover.
There were like 14 different Variant covers to chose form.
You can go to the link in the description and look at the different Variant's if you
want but let me know which your favorite is.
I got the Greg Land & Rachelle Rosenberg one.
It was either going to be that or the John Romita Sr.
Each chapter of this issue was drawn and colored by a different team.
The good thing is that they followed a similar style and the story to me was compelling enough
for me to not notice until the end.
The last part, Goodbye, drawn by Marcos Martin & colored by Muntsa Vicente is much different
than the rest of the book.
Besides that, I really liked the art in this issue.
Flash Thompson.
Everything Flash Thompson is great in this story, including his send off.
I didn't read his Agent Venom comic but now I wish I had.
He is a really cool character.
And I like the irony that he used to bully Peter but also idolized him unknowingly.
Then the way they turn that around to have Peter take inspiration from him.
I really like that.
I like that he got to inspire his hero.
I don't know why it is but I really like the images of Spider-Man & Green Goblin standing
in front of the flames ready to give it their last fight.
I'm giving this comic 9 out of 10-stars.
It has everything you could want in a Spider-Man story.
Call backs to your favorite parts from his past.
A couple of your favorite Spider-Man villains and friends.
And the return of the Symbiote Spider-Man.

"The Undateables" is a romantic comedy about a man named Hoon Nam (played by Namgoong Min) who refuses to fall in love and a woman named Jung Eum (played by Hwang Jung Eum) who dreams of love but has given up on dating

His casual outfits also show a different side of Hoon Nam and expansive range of style
In the jogging scene at the Han River in the third and fourth episodes, Namgoong Min looked stylish in an all-black outfit, then dressed in all white for the airport, with a matching black and white bag
His shirt and slacks were comfortable, yet stylish, and showed off his physique. It also increased his masculine charms and perfectly matched his character
The surprising fact is that Hoon Nam's style is the result of Namgoong Min's ideas
It was revealed that even before the drama began filming, Namgoong Min analyzed the script and researched Hoon Nam's style
In order to perfect his character's style, he purchased the clothing himself or used items from his own closet
The actor also did this in his previous drama "Chief Kim." A source from the drama said, "Namgoong Min is paying a lot of attention to not only acting, but also the appearance of his character
It's in order to perfectly portray his character. He has a lot of passion for his character

Trial preparation for second round of ex-Pres. Park Geun-hye's corruption case begins Friday - Duration: 1:05.
Preparations for the second part of impeached ex-President Park Geun-hye's corruption trial
kicked off this morning,... with prosecutors ready to challenge what they see as a lenient
first ruling against the former leader.
The first preparatory session opened at the Seoul High Court at 10 a.m., with the prosecution
expected to explain how they will make their case.
They're likely to refute the lower court's ruling in April that the funds provided to
the Korea Winter Sports Elite Center, and the Mir and K-Sports Foundations could not
be counted as kickbacks.
They are also expected to protest against the court acquitting Park of various bribery
and extortion charges related to Samsung.
Park was handed a 24 year prison term and a fine of 16 million U.S. dollars for various
corruption charges.
The 66 year-old has not filed an appeal against the first ruling but will be represented by
three state-appointed attorneys at today's hearing.

The country's parliament has passed a law that bans wearing face-covering garments in
public.
This would mostly affect Muslim women who wear Islamic veils.

Denmark has now joined a number of European countries, including France and Belgium, to
ban such garments from being worn in public.
The law, which was presented by the center-right governing coalition, was passed in a 75 to
30 vote on Thursday with 74 absentees.
Lawmakers said face veils go against Danish values as they passed the bill.
It is set to be implemented from August, but will allow people to cover their face in what
the law states as "recognizable purpose."
This includes, for example, wearing scarfs in cold weather or a motorcycle helmet to
adhere to traffic laws.
Besides those reasons, police will be able to instruct people to remove their veils or
order them to leave public areas or even pay a fine.
However, the ban is facing widespread criticism as it being seen as directly targeting dresses,
such as niqab or burka, which are worn by some conservative Muslim women.
Critics say women have the right to dress as they choose and express their identity
and beliefs.
Supporters argue the ban enables better integration of Muslim immigrants into Danish society,
claiming such garments are used to oppress women.

"It seems very strange to have a road that is just two letters," one said."I have a friend who lives off of OG Road and I asked them what it stood for and they said they had heard that it was named after two families that were influential and had lots of land
"So what does it stand for?OG Road is named after Osmond Gilles, the first colonial treasurer of South Australian and a major landholder in what is now Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs
Gilles was born in 1788 and arrived on the HMS Buffalo with the first settlers in 1836
Nicknamed "OG", he owned land in the city (Gilles St and Gilles Arcade are named after him), Gilles Plains and Glen Osmond, where his homestead Woodley was located
OG Road was a track that provided a crucial link between his Glen Osmond and Gilles Plains properties
It was the main River Torrens crossing northeast of Adelaide until Lower Portrush Road opened in 1970
Gilles was forced to resign from his position in the treasury in 1839 after falling behind in his bookkeeping
He died in 1866.The OG Hotel, which has the shortest name of any Australian pub, was founded at the corner of North East Rd and what is now OG Road in 1843, however the first mention of OG Road didn't come until 1869 in the South Australian Register

going to see String Methods
as we saw earlier
the string is nothing but
collection of characters
and in Python there are
multiple methods available
to manipulate the string
let's create a new string
name = "vikram salunke"
now let's use method title
print name.title()
as we can see the
first character of both
the words has been
converted to uppercase
so this is what title() does
so, what do you mean by method?
a method is a action that Python
performs on a piece of a data
the . after name and title()
tells python to make title() method
act on name variable
every method is followed by
a set of parentheses
because methods often need
additional information to do
their work
that information is provided inside
the parentheses
title() method doesn't need
any additional information
so the parentheses are empty
title() displays each word in title case
where each word
begins with a capital letter
now let's look at the string
this is a string Python for InfoSec
so as we saw earlier
the string is a collection
of characters
and we can access each
of the character from string
remember this thing
the position always start
with 0
so if you want to access
the first element we have to access
that string's 0th character
and so on
str[0]
so we will access the character
at 0th location
we can access the character
from other location also
such as str[7]
we can also slice a string
in this example
let's slice the string

so, when we used the slicing
this is start position 5
and this is a end position
that is 10
so at 5th position
there is 'n' and at
