Chairman of S. Korea's largest online game company says "No succession" - Duration: 0:38.
The founder of Nexon, South Korea's largest online-gaming company, will not pass down
the ownership of the firm to his children..., and instead pledged to donate more than 100
billion won or around 92 million dollars to society.
Regarding that decision, Kim Jung-ju, said, as an employer of about five-thousand workers
across the globe, it is his duty to do so.
The 50-year-old tech tycoon who developed the world's first online multiplayer game
in 1996, also added, the money he donates will be used to build rehabilitation hospitals
for children throughout Korea and support startups for young people.

LaLiga Santander Postseason: October - Duration: 5:09.
The start of October saw Real Betis add some spice to the championship.
Quique Setien's side featured in a couple of high-scoring games.
Such as the 4-4 draw at the Anoeta on Matchday 7.
And the 6-3 defeat to Valencia at the Villamarin stadium, the following week.
The most successful team of the month was Marcelino Garcia Toral's side.
Guedes, Zaza, Carlos Soler and company thrilled the fans at the Mestalla stadium.
Los Ches managed 12 points from a possible 12, scoring 15 goals in their 4 matches.
A brilliant run, which saw Valencia climb to second place. It was the best start to a season in the history of the club.
"I think we've done incredibly well, we've had a really difficult fixture list with games against
a lot of top teams and our performances have been incredible"
Ernesto Valverde's Barcelona remained top of the table.
Although they did drop their first points of the season when they drew one-all at the Metropolitano.
Real Madrid now in third spot ended the month by being soundly beaten at Girona.
It was one of the surprise results of the season. Los Blancos were now 8 points adrift of the leaders.
Villarreal were one of the most successful teams in October, climbing more places than any other club.
Much of their success could be put down to the substitution of Javi Calleja for Fran Escriba and goals from Bakambu.
With 3 wins and a draw away to Atletico, the yellow submarine leapt from
fourteenth to sixth spot and a place in the Europa League.
"It's clear that the new coach has brought us hope and encouragement.
The team is growing up as the season progresses"
We've got to keep this project on track, we've got big dreams"
There was another change in the dugout at the bottom of the table.
After Deportivo Alaves' terrible start to the season, Gianni de Biasi took charge of the club.
The Italian coach won his first game against Levante, but his success was short-lived
after this win they lost their next three games.
At this stage in the championship Las Palmas were having an even worse time of it.
Having lost all their games in October, the Canarians were in the relegation zone by Matchday 9,
and they wouldn't leave it for the rest of the season.
Malaga accompanied Las Palmas at the bottom of the table,
but the Andalusian side did at least have something to celebrate.
After ten games they managed their first win of the season: against Celta on the last Matchday of the month.
With ten games under their belts, Barcelona remained in first place
while Valencia were second in front of Real Madrid who were followed by Atletico.
Sevilla and Villarreal took the other European places.
There were few changes at the bottom of the table:
Las Palmas, Malaga and Deportivo Alaves occupied the three spots which meant relegation to LaLiga 1|2|3.

LA TRUFFA DEI LOGAN - videorecensione di Roberto Leoni - Duration: 4:40.
it is said that luck is an unfaithful lover
today there is and tomorrow there is not
it is instead said that bad luck is a faithful lover
once it falls in love with you, it will not leave you anymore
well this film by Soderbergh Logan Lucky
goes against this adage and goes against this proverb
in an original and suggestive way
because until the last moment it seems instead
that bad luck is really the faithful lover
is really the desperate fate of the Logans
that are this kind of Beagle Boys in Virginia
a heterogeneous and wacky band
above all completely unreliable in every respect
but governed by a kind of Homeric destiny
because our protagonist is a former hero
a former hero persecuted by the bad luck
abandoned by his wife
however, he is tender and affectionate
he has his own rule has a way of life
he loves his daughter
among other things there is a delightful scene
where he repairs an old truck with his daughter as an assistant
and to this 5 or 6-year-old girl he says
"pass me the key 14" and she says
"with the star point or with the square point"
that is, like a real assistant
like a real operating room nurse
well our protagonist who is Channing Tatum
with his good hero face consumed in events and life
he is lame too so he is the fallen hero
he has fallen into the dust and has never resumed
abandoned by everyone
it is even said that the fate of the Logan family
is the fate of the unfortunates of the pure losers
and his brother believes in it
and virtually everyone believes it
but he does not believe it
does not believe it in the most suggestive way
that is to say without making bluster
or particular mischiefs
he does not believe it enough
and he continues seriously to think about his robbery
an incredibly imaginative and absurd robbery
composed of heterogeneous elements
as the director presents them
viewers worry more and more
thinking but where will they end up
but what will they do but how will it be possible
there is also a joker
the joker is Daniel Craig yes, he is 007
who is a prisoner with strong and determined ice eyes
called Joe Bang because he's the one who blows the safes
he blows the walls and blows everything up
and the fact of being taken in a way that I will not tell you
while in prison he is taken as a burglar
so with a very complicated and fun thing
but it almost seems like the situation gets worse
like the brothers of Joe Bang
two unreliable pseudo hippies lost and drunk
that seem even worse
but all this goes towards a surprising suggestive ending
in which incredibly in a violent world dedicated to money
dedicated to the wealth dedicated to the arrogance
dedicated to the overwhelming of the weak
tenderness wins
and wins the most baffling, almost ridiculous tenderness
and it is on this suggestive poetic message that I greet you
thank you

last year.

Efficiency vs Breakthrough - Duration: 4:10.
hello youtubers welcome back to leadership and success coaching now I've
been getting some questions about... hey Chee Wai... how do you know how much effort is
enough you know when someone tries to do a certain thing or do their job but
don't get the result that they want how much effort is enough and that's what I
want to talk about today
thank you all for supporting this channel as usual the videos on this
channel are meant to help you be a better leader and if you like the videos
that you're watching feel free to subscribe to this channel and share the
videos with the people that you think will benefit from it without further ado
let's get straight into it so how much effort is really enough and
how do you know you've put in enough effort to complete your mission I think
it's safe to say that most people myself included you as well we don't put in a
maximum effort every time every day when we do something right that's not our
natural human instinct to say hey you don't want to do something just go
straight away we put in 100% we go all out on our first attempt right what I'm
trying to say is I think most people usually start off with putting in the
minimum effort and I think that's a very normal human tendency you know look I
suppose there's no real problems with putting in a minimum amount of effort
because I suppose that's what you call efficient and we as humans are obviously
always trying to be more efficient however what I do want to say to all of
you out there is that when you put in the minimum amount of effort yes you are
in the efficiency level but that's not the level we need to get the success the
level you need to get a success is you need to go to a breakthrough level you
need to reach an achievement and over I suppose over achievement level because
only at the breakthrough level then you go past where most people are because
most people belong in the efficiency level right you know they put in the
minimum off effort to get things done that's it but for us we want to be the
1% we want to be the unique people we want to be overachievers that's why
staying at the efficiency level is not going to be enough for you to succeed
you have to go past efficiency and into over achievement into brick flew so what
I'm trying to say is for you to be successful or be more successful
than the people around you you and your peers then the people in your office you
have to overachieve you have to put in the maximum amount of effort you have to
break through so the real simple question every single day you should be
asking yourself is this all right I'm doing something now is this the minimum
effort that I'm putting in to get the job done which is nothing wrong with
that again oh is this the best I can do am I putting in the maximum effort is
this my maximum is this the best that I can give and if you want to succeed if
you want to do better than everybody around you you have to perform as much
and as often as possible at this level at the breakthrough at the over
achievement at the maximum level all right really simple discussion for today
just want to talk about minimum efficiency level of performance versus
maximum breakthrough level of performance now tell me what you think
tell me how you usually behave ready down in the comments section here below
and as always thank you all for supporting this channel if you liked
this video make sure you share it with the people that you think will benefit
from it subscribe to this channel if you haven't
and I'll see you next time take care everybody

After 22 years of operation, GM Korea's factory in Gunsan will close tomorrow.
Part of an agreement reached by the Korean government and General Motors on how to rescue
GM's local subsidiary.
After the auto giant announced on February 13th... its plan to shut down its Gunsan plant,
the local community and the South Korean government tried to push ahead with their plan to get
the factory back online.
Unfortunately such efforts came up short.
The factory will officially shut down on Thursday.
However, it hasn't been operating for almost three months since the closure was announced.

Korea's Supreme Court recognizes Bitcoin as valuable property for first time - Duration: 0:27.
Korea's Supreme Court recognized Bitcoin as a property with value for the first time.
Yesterday the court ruled the digital currency of a sex offender had to be confiscated.
During the case's second trial, the judges said Bitcoin is subject to be confiscated
once it is confirmed to have been obtained through the crime.
Last September, the court ruled that confiscating Bitcoin was inappropriate as the currency
comes in the form of electronic files without physical entities.

U.S. to impose 25% tariff on US$50 bil. worth of Chinese goods - Duration: 1:49.
Just 10 days after Washington and Beijing agreed not to impose new tariffs on each other,....
the White House says it will press ahead with tariffs against Chinese technology goods.
Cha Sang-mi zooms in on how the Trump administration is trying to gain leverage in its talks with
Beijing.
The U.S.-China trade war appeared to have died down.
Until on Tuesday, when the White House announced that it is moving ahead with plans to impose
a hefty 25-percent tariff on 50-billion U.S. dollars' worth of Chinese goods containing
"industrially significant" technology.
The White House says the final list of imports covered by the measures will be announced
by June 15th,... and the tariffs will be imposed "shortly thereafter".
It added the products included on the list are related to the "Made in China 2025" program,...
a 2015 initiative promoting China's tech industries, including the information technology, robotics,
and bio-medical sectors.
A representative for China's Ministry of Commerce said Beijing was surprised by the White House
statement.
In a statement released by the commerce ministry, Beijing stressed its confidence and capability
to defend its own national interests, regardless of what measures the U.S. will take, and urged
Washington to act according to their joint statement.
This comes after a second round of talks in Washington earlier this month,... where the
two sides issued a joint statement vowing not to launch a trade war against each other,...
as Beijing agreed to "significantly increase" its purchases of American goods and services
to help the U.S. reduce its $375-billion-dollar trade deficit with China.
The trade tensions began earlier this year with President Trump imposing tariffs on steel
and aluminum imports into the U.S.,... with China striking back with additional tariffs
on 128 U.S. products.

Top officials of N. Korea, U.S. to meet soon in New York - Duration: 2:24.
Summit diplomacy seems to be heating up... as North Korea's former intel chief is in
New York City for talks with the U.S. Secretary of State.
The visit comes... as multiple meetings are taking place in different locations to set
the agenda for the summit and the regime's denuclearization.
Oh Jung-hee has our top story.
The right-hand men of Kim Jong-un and President Trump will be meeting soon in New York.
North Korea's Kim Yong-chol -- the regime's former spy chief and the current director
of its department for inter-Korean relations -- was spotted taking a flight bound for New
York on Tuesday afternoon in Beijing.
Trump confirmed on Twitter that Kim is coming.
And Washington's State Department says...
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will head over to New York on Wednesday to meet him.
"The Secretary will be heading up to New York tomorrow and I believe returning sometime
on Thursday."
Kim and Pompeo's talking points have not been specified.
But it's widely believed that their meeting is for the final coordination of the agenda
for the Pyongyang-Washington summit -- how North Korea will denuclearize... and how the
U.S. will guarantee the Kim Jong-un regime's security.
This... as an extension of the North Korea-U.S. working-level talks that took place twice
this week at the inter-Korean border village of Panmunjom.
The delegations at Panmunjom -- led respectively by Washington's former negotiator on North
Korea, Sung Kim, and Pyongyang's Vice Foreign Minister, Choe Son-hui -- met on Sunday and
Wednesday.
"Well, this will be the Secretary's third meeting with Kim Yong-chol.
They've had, obviously, very deep conversations where they've talked about a lot of detail
about what the United States' expectations are."
"If Kim Yong-chol and Mike Pompeo settleD on a basic draft of their agreement and President
Trump accepts it, then that will lead to a confirmation that the summit will take place
for sure.
The fact that Kim Yong-chol is visiting the U.S. -- that in itself means that coordination
between the two is almost over,... with only a few factors left to be resolved."
Kim Yong-chol is the first high-level North Korean official to step foot on U.S. soil
in 18 years.
Attention is on whether he will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump... and deliver
a letter from Kim Jong-un -- much like when Pompeo twice met with the North Korean leader
in Pyongyang.
Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News.

Russia's FM to visit North Korea on Thursday - Duration: 0:26.
Russia's top diplomat, Sergei Lavrov will be travelling to Pyongyang on Thursday.
According to Tass News Agency, the visit comes at the invitation of North Korea's Foreign
Minister.
It's in return for the visit to Moscow made in April by Ri Yong-ho.
The agenda is not yet known,... but the two are likely to focus on the progress made toward
holding a North Korea-U.S. summit as well as bilateral relations.

Gov't introduces new bidding methods to support innovative growth - Duration: 1:54.
The South Korean government's dedication to support innovative growth and improve the
job market doesn't end there.
Another new measure includes, making changes to the national contract law.
Kim Hyesung explains how it would work.
The government is putting forward a revised bill on bidding methods.
The finance ministry says the revision to the national contract law includes a so-called
'competitive dialogue bidding system' to help foster purchases of innovative goods and services.
Under the system, bidders will directly communicate with the ordering body to identify the best
way to satisfy their needs and to find the most qualified bidder.
The government will also allow private contracts between R&D manufacturers and government institutions
to help public purchases of innovative goods.
"Introducing a competitive bidding system is a move in the right direction that will
help raise quality.
But private contracts don't have a bidding system.
There would need to be more specific criteria and evaluation methods for private contracts.
Otherwise, it could open the door to corruption or bribery in the contract winning process."
To prevent purchases of low cost, low quality goods, the ministry says existing low-cost
bidding contracts on goods below 210 million Korean won, or 194-thousand U.S. dollars,
will be abolished.
Instead, the government will apply competitive bidding methods for startups and venture companies
on contracts below 100 million won, or around 92-thousand dollars.
There will also be clearer standards on contract unit prices.
In addition, social enterprises and companies that create more jobs will be given extra
bidding benefits.
For companies with a history of labor law violations, bidding qualification limits will
be extended from one month to three months.
The revised bill is expected to be proclaimed and implemented later this year.

Summer heat, heavy showers in the south _ 053018 - Duration: 1:41.
Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update.
It was hot today, and the air cleared up, but smog will flow in this evening, so you
should have your masks ready.
It was sunny all afternoon in Seoul, but Gangwon-do and the southern provinces have been getting
some showers due to instability in the atmosphere.
Those showers will bring down between 5 and 20 millimeters along with thunder and lightning.
Tomorrow, we start the month of June,... and it's going to be hot under a scorching sun,
so apply a good amount of sunblock and don't stay out for too long because the UV and ozone
levels are going to be shooting up.
The morning of June 1st in Seoul will begin at 14 degrees Celsius.
Daegu starts at 16, and Gyeongju at 15.
As for the day time, Seoul tops out at 27 degrees, Gwangju hits 28, while Busan looks
a little cooler at 24 degrees.
Get ready for summer because the mercury won't be coming down much anytime soon.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
