Waching daily May 26 2018

did you look pretty no I do I need to get my cap get the cap

get pretty before we filmed this I look really Olá Youtube my name is Ricardo

lino and we are we are wheel addicts

we're in Frankfurt Germany and usually I don't film with this thing basically I'm

using a stabilizer and we're gonna just cruise around the city

and let's see what it's going to happen

is the thing I'm trying some new skates they are the power slide art coryville

Trinities it's my first day on these skates and I'm trying to go one size

down compared to the ones that I had before before I had the forty force on

the non Trinity these ones are Trinity they are 43 and I

put some extra insole and I think they feel a little bit too tight but I'm

gonna try to break them in so you're gonna get good

okay let's try to begin while I do my name is Ricardo lino and not forget all

the stuff all the time that's true and he's too not strong enough to close

car doors properly big brother situation right here we're starting to clash okay

so basically I didn't even know where my GoPro was so now we're back on track

with a GoPro

I'll be showing my new skates now as the close up

how many kids do you know that he can speak 100 millimeters without being

tight but right now the couplet little loose and they feel supported the first

go to that thing you need to slide that don't try to avoid it

he's trying to avoid it he wants me to break my leg at the first spot of the

day you remember what happened probably in the z2 10 seconds ago there was

someone saying that it didn't want to break his leg like it's common for me

on his first day of skating now check this go watch this check what he just

learned and that's it someone doesn't want to break his leg and that's how we

learn how to slide into minutes don't leave me hanging

that's amazing there's only one thing that they're doing wrong in my opinion

you're getting you still think too much aggressive into it like you do the whole

thing perfect the beginning but then you jump from the top like if you're coming

out of a rail by the way check this shirt remember the company that I told

you about the bag this if you don't remember this you can he just wants to

show his biceps just like mine so wait check this we were just kidding around I

check what we found huh

all right hyper wheeled dealer it's mainly figure skating

hello how you doing they speak English are you doing I'm good I'm just looking

it rapidly we left what we did yesterday do you know the company powerslide yes

okay so we left Benoit yesterday and we're just going all the way to hold on

just making videos and skating around and we found you guys just out of

nowhere so for how long have you guys have you guys been doing been here for

how long have you guys been here 23 years really and it did Maine mainly

just figure skating or mainly do you know those inline artistic skates with

the three wheels Reese port as you have them so it's not inline its mmm it's yes

I'm circa like a nice plate yeah we call it a natural rocker it because there's

never the three wheels touching correct the system is kind of like a Trinity

system that's amazing huh and the third stop is the same as the roller skater

how much would this cost it's complete 240 245 it is amazing I've never seen

I've never seen those before you can make

yes because you use the I call the front part on the ice-skating the data fake

because pick on that or you or you call it to stop okay so that was cool nice

meeting you Ricardo again absolutely you see you

next time man good luck with everything thank you Cheers

we went round of luck I thought we were so far

stupid tree too

the real never gonna see now was my first real ever with a fixed-gear bike

first Street rail Chittagong my German is so much better now he's getting there

wait Basti when was the last time that is there right and - 12 years ago

okay let's this first try I see we almost died

don't put that in the video by the way if you notice this really good filming

skills basta used to own a video magazine called a dude did you guys sold

in the USA no boom shame on you USA Australia but

sorry USA you guys never saw it but that was a video magazine from Europe called

a dude and boskie was a dude

when I first got here I saw this trick let me show you

instant slide

in society

next spot famous European skate shop that I used to be sponsored by for a few

years so we're about to it I can tell you you'll see in a second and we're

here we're at this skate shop that I just came here to personally say thank

you for the support so let me show you this Sketchup so grind us for a long for

a long time they were the biggest skate shop in Europe and for a few years I was

on grindhouse pro team so since we were just driving by on our

way to Holland we thought of say hi they have the best

drink eyesight Kell ice time ice time water it's good kids drink water let's

see oh shit Torsten is one minute later now we're alone at the shop we're gonna

steal everything I wouldn't trust these guys as the Portuguese guy with a big

beard any German rollerblades I haven't seen those ones yet long tree wait

that's my ufs no that's not 165 is it

that's crazy it's not totally new it's like tonight

the kid skates have this system but I understand why they do it so they can

make a lower scale which is cool I like it so from what I know these logo will

disappear but these one will stay yeah they will change the name of the company

right I know but do you already have an idea

went no no I think it's go says over several months maybe one year or

something like this okay so you heard it here yeah yeah whereas we're addressing

north so I came to say thank you I came to say thank you for supporting me but

I've never been in I know you were a team member

yeah few years ago yeah but I've never been to the shop so for how long is

grindhouse going since 1995 that's 23 let's is it yeah right

yeah that's great a few years yeah that's how you're gonna make this video

guide use our date back

god

I can tell you the truth we just came here to get something because the

aggressive skates no but still you want to learn how to slide proper oh that's

why we came here the nightmare wags called to good homes

ended and was all skate shops in Germany

always the one in the back thank you very much thank you thank you thank you

so much please tell Thorin thank you so much I will do definitely from both of

us we I do om you guys everything everything everything's true yeah I do

okay so that's it we're sorted we're living next stop Amsterdam what gas

station okay gas station and food please

food food food

hey you got em on your ass

two hours later check

where are we we're in the Netherlands

yeah this is the complete opposite of home in Cape Town here there's water

everywhere I think I'm gonna take I'm Minuten I think I'm gonna take advantage

of this and I'm gonna take those longer showers yeah we're we're filming this

thing like are you doing with a good trail long but good and next thing you

know we're off to the skate park yeah no we renovating for eight or nine

years that's cool yeah a lot of people skating here we had like six bursaries

and a lot and he's like the the most active of them let me near em to ya it

doesn't play real too

who the clump like Colburn

he holds this particle that's the one

I'll get it I'll get it I'll get it okay one day

it's on us

he's no better you're not bad at all

complete

I think I got a trick can you do a flip over the spine

check this I'll do one row do I look like Romina brought to you and I do this

maybe I'll be learning this one sometimes I do it the Roman one check

and sometimes I even do the other one

okay so now mr. Bostic is going to make a full section again come on good we're

gonna film a full section just there just there it's just a full full ledge

section get it again you can do the back room just almost see I can do back foot

flat

although they got that shit man come on come on come on cool

Battlefield 5 Will Not Have Loot Boxes But Will Have A Premium Currency - Duration: 3:14.

Hello Guy's And Wellcome To My Channel GamesTalk.

In This Video We Are Going To Talk About Battlefield 5 Will Not Have Loot Boxes But Will Have A

Premium Currency

As Battlefield 5 pushes forward to its October release, additional details have emerged about

its planned currency and unlock systems.

With loot boxes being de rigueur in marketing triple A games, EA DICE is drawing a line

in the sand, stating that no loot box economies will infiltrate its militaristic WW2 shooter,

relegating premium currency exclusively to cosmetic player add-ons.

DICEs new game, while containing a highly anticipated single-player campaign, will doubtlessly

live and die post-launch by the strength of its multiplayer.

Luckily, the brand has typically shined in that regard, with expansive 64-player objective-based

maps and a proven attention to this component of the modern FPS, most recently recognized

in the best-selling Battlefield 1.

Many gamers will definitely be looking forward to going online as soon as possible after

launch day.

A majority of multiplayer shooters these days do indeed focus on loot boxes to stimulate

post-purchase consumer engagement.

Full-price boxed games like Destiny 2 and even Valves genre-defining class-based

shooter Team Fortress 2 have regularly tangled with locked boxes, loot boxes, and other randomized

economies of microtranscation.

Some of these purchasable rewards do indeed result in an effect on gameplay, with the

latter offering options for weapons and skill-augmenting items in the earlier days of the trend.

According to DICE, as reported by Polygon, Battlefield 5 will eschew this model, motivating

to something closer to Overwatch (without the loot boxes), with cosmetic unlocks the

only ones available for real-money purchase.

This essentially means no loot boxes, keys, or gambling mechanics.

The cosmetic enhancements will be available to modify both online avatars - in Battlefield

5, players will be able to design a Company with various characters - as well as vehicles

like tanks and planes.

None of this means that mechanical upgrades are unavailable, however, and playing online

will grant players cumulative opportunities to expand their arsenal and increase their

competitive capabilities and choices.

But, these developing upgrades will only be accessible by playing the game, not by opening

a wallet.

In recent years, the perpetual hunt for whales by triple A companies and mobile phone games

has compelled increased consumer attention to the developers who bow out of these trends

outright.

DICEs decision to avoid anything approaching pay to win in this regard is worthy

of praise; it communicates a philosophy that highlights player ability and skill, and a

trust in the design of their game, which heads into play first access on October 11.

Or, to put it in other words: Perhaps DICE has duly learned from their experience with

Star Wars Battlefront 2.

5 MOST BEAUTIFUL FIGHTS OF MARVEL SUPERHEROS - Duration: 4:04.

Hi everybody

Today we are going to see 5 of the most beautiful fights of superheros in Marvel movies

of course there are many

so don't hesitate to write in the comments what are you best fight scenes in Marvel movies

and put a thumb up, subscribe and activate the notifications bell not to miss next videos

and here we go

Number 5

Hulk versus Iron man in "Age of Ultron". The scene happen when Scarlet Witch hypnotises doctor Banner

turning him in a Hulk out of control reaching the city

Tony Stark aka Iron man will activate a secret weapon

especially created for this kind of situation where Hulk could be out of control or would be an ennemy

comes in action the Hulkbuster that gives us a big confrontation between Hulk and Tony Stark inside the Hulkbuster armor

the confrontation is violent and epic and does not let aside Tony Stark's sense of humor using his famous punchlines

sleep, sleep, sleep

Number 4

Iron man versus Captain America and Bucky in "Civil war"

in this sequence, Tony Stark learns his father was killed by Bucky Barnes aka The winter soldier

furious, Stark attacks him but Captain America defends his old friend Bucky

Iron man is one against two in a merciless fight where friendship between Tony And Steve does not exist anymore

que can feel Stark's anger and this sequence is really sad because the friendship between Tony and Steve dies

we meet with an emotionnal and action scene

Number 3

Sequence shots in "Avengers" and "Avengers: age of Ultron"

for those who don't know what a sequence shot is, it is when we shoot A SEQUENCE

but without cut

usually, a sequence is composed of several plans

by exemple, we shoot a character and we stop the camera, we shoot an other character and we stop the camera

and we can shoot a location

during editing, we stick plans and it is what we call a cut sequence

in a sequence shot we just shoot a plan which is going to last a certain time

of course nowadays, some directors shoot several plans and will edit them making us believe it is a sequence shot

whereas it is not

the first sequence shot I choose is in "Avengers"

It takes place during Chitauris' attack of New York

we see different actions of the superheros in only one shot where the camera moves fastly in the battle field

of course the scene is performed with green screens and special effects but visually, this sequence is awesome

the second sequence shot is in "Avengers: age of Ultron"

once more, this sequence is awesome and stay in our minds

the third sequence shot is in the same movie and takes place at the end in a small place

once more, the performance and efficiency of the scene is there

Number 2

face to face with two clans of superheros in "Civil War"

to remind you the story: Sokovia accords were written to control The Avengers

but they are not all ok with this, so they split into two camps

this impressive sequence shows us the confrontation between the 2 clans and the first appearence of spiderman

we meet with one and one fights, one and two, two and two

but nevertheless friendly where each one of them says his punchline

and the first appearence of spiderman is sympathetic and well done

tell me in comments what you think about it

Number one

"Avengers infinity war"

be careful I took a sequence of "Avengers infinity war"

so if you did not see it yet, watch this part later

I have chosen to give a price to the confrontation between Thanos and Doctor Strange

I liked so much the character in the "Doctor Strange" movie

and there he definitively conquered me

his confrontation with Thanos is great and I am not the only one to say this

because we can find a few videos on youtube showing us hysteric reactions of fans during the fight

I have not read comics

but I heard the sequence was faithful from the comics to the movie

anyway, for me, the scene is so epic this is why I put it in the first position of my top 5

This top is a personal selection so don't hesitate to give me yours in comments

put a thumb up and subscribe not to miss next videos

see you soon folks

he speaks a lot this kid

yes so much

How to Draw Buildings in 1-Point Perspective: Narrated - Duration: 8:35.

Hi, Tom here with this week's Circle Line Art School video, in this video I'll show

you one way to draw buildings using one point perspective, the first step in

perspective is to draw a horizontal line and for one point perspective we need to

draw a mark or a cross on that horizon, all vertical lines will stay vertical,

but the sides of the buildings that go away from us, if they are parallel,

will all meet at this one vanishing point on the right,

so we can draw a series of rectangles for the front of the buildings

and then the sides of all of these buildings, because they're all in

parallel, the sides of all of these buildings will go to our vanishing point,

for this drawing we need three rectangles in a row, if we draw a

vertical line between the diagonal lines that go to the vanishing point we can

choose where the edge of each of the buildings are,

to find the shape of a pitched roof we just need to draw a middle line above

one of the sides of the buildings and then we can use this middle line to make

a triangle, the top part of this roof that we're drawing will be parallel to

the front of the building, as we are looking straight on at it, we're not

looking sideways, we're just looking straight at it, now we

can match the angle of the first triangle here,

but then, because his building is on the left, is higher, we need to find the right

side of the building first and to do that just draw a line from the corner,

top corner, of the building all the way to the vanishing point, then for the

top-left bit of the roof, that will be a diagonal and it will sort of be in line

with a triangle that we can draw at the front of the building on the left, if we

draw a large triangle at the top of the rectangle on the left we can again find

the diagonal line to this shape by drawing a line from the top of the

triangle to our vanishing point and this will find the angle of the roof in one

point perspective, as it goes away from us, now if we find the side of this

building using the vanishing point at the base, we can now draw an archway in

this wall in the foreground at the front of the drawing

and then just darken the lines of the building that we can see through the

archway, we can draw another line on the left of

the arch because we can see the thickness of arches and the thickness of

windows on the left hand side of all of the windows and doors in this drawing,

now behind this building we can draw another building,

I think I'll make this into a tower,

again finding the side of the tower by using our vanishing point,

at this stage it would help to raise the horizon line a bit now, as we

no longer need the horizon line, the horizontal line, as it goes through the

buildings, we no longer need that bit, so just to raise that and then we can join

up the lines that we've had two erase, as they cross the horizon line and we

can make all of our lines a bit darker too, we could add a door of some steps in front of it,

now again, the sides of the steps the parts of the steps to go towards the

right, those lines will all follow diagonal paths to our vanishing point,

so we're going to use the vanishing point for all of the sides of all of the

shapes that go to the right,

so we can use the vanishing point to find the inside corners the thickness of

each of our windows,

we could add a pyramid shape to the top of the tower,

just with some triangles, and then above the wall of the courtyard, the front wall,

we could draw another building, just slightly higher,

with a pitched roof,

we could add a chimney to this roof too,

for the top of the tower we could add a flag, to get a flag so it looks like it

has a little fold in it just draw an "S" shape at the bottom and then copy the "S"

shape at the top line of the flag as well,

we could sketch in a road,

and some pavement areas and maybe some blocks of trees and bushes, we don't need

any details, just a sketch,

and then we could add a line of clouds, which sort of goes behind some of the

buildings, so if something goes behind the buildings, that will make the

buildings seem like they're coming forward, because the clouds will be

behind them, rather than just the clouds being above them, once the line drawing

is as you'd wish it to be, we could add some tonal values, some shading, I'll

start by adding a soft tonal value to the top area above the line of clouds, so

the sky is going to be slightly darker in tone than the clouds, once we've got

this and made it nice and soft with a soft tone, we could find an even paler

tone to shade in the left-hand side of the clouds, so that would mean that the

light is coming from the right, because the clouds are going to have shadows on the left,

next, we can just block in the darker tonal values that we need in this

drawing, so some of the bushes, we could just choose one or two different tonal

values for the bushes and trees and then inside the windows, I think I will make

those dark tone, and the sides of the building, all of the sides that we're

looking straight on to, the left-hand sides of the building, we could make

those a mid-tone as well, and then once we've done that we could

add some indications of some details, I don't think you need too many details

and definitely details are best to put in towards the end of the drawing,

you get the big shapes in first, sort of planning it out, and then add a few

details, that's a good way of doing it, thank you very much for watching this

video, it's episode 287 of my how to draw video that I make for my Circle Line Art School,

How Dragon Ball's "Lost Dub" Differs From Funimation's - Duration: 5:47.

Dragon Ball has a long history of localization in America.

Many viewers are undoubtedly aware of the 1996 Funimation and Ocean studios dub of Dragon

Ball Z, but the series roots in the English market go back almost a decade before that.

Many don't realize that there were several failed attempts to localize Dragon Ball before

Funimation's successful launch of Dragon Ball Z.

In this video Censored Gaming is going to take a look at one of the earliest and most

interesting attempts to bring Dragon Ball to a mainstream English speaking market: The

Harmony Gold edition of Dragon Ball, sometimes called "The lost dub".

The Dragon Ball anime first began in February of 1986, based on the hit manga series by

Akira Toriyama.

There were early ways to see non-English Dragon Ball episodes in the US.

Airings of Japanese and subtitled episodes of Dragon Ball were available on satellite

TV and certain local networks like the Nippon Golden Network in Hawaii which aired subtitled

versions of both Dragon Ball and Toriyama's earlier work, Dr. Slump.

However in 1989 the LA based company Harmony Gold acquired the rights to Dragon Ball with

the intention to dub and localize it for the US market.

While their name is perhaps not well recognized today, Harmony Gold was at one time a major

player in the US anime market.

The studio was also responsible for the widely successful Robotech series; a heavily edited

and localized adaption of several entries in the Macross saga.

Harmony Gold's initial efforts to localize Dragon ball were quite ambitious.

They localized and dubbed two movies: "Curse of the Blood Rubies" and "Mystical Adventure".

While these movies were originally completely separate reimaginings of various parts of

the anime, Harmony Gold edited them together into a single movie.

It is not confirmed how far into the series Harmony gold recorded, but they dubbed at

least the first five episodes of dragon ball and prepared scripts for up to sixty episodes,

and recruited a cast of distinguished west coast voice actors.

However most appear under pseudonyms rather than their real names.

The Harmony Gold dub is notable for keeping most of the original music, and at least some

of the skeevy humor the Japanese version of Dragon Ball is known for.

But in other ways the dub is heavily changed, far beyond even the early versions put out

by Funimation.

Almost all the names have been altered.

Goku's name was changed to Zero; Bulma was turned to Leena, despite her real name being

written on her shirt in English letters in some scenes.

Oolong became MaoMao, Yamcha became Zendaki, and Karin, the sage who lives under Kami's

lookout was given the bizarre moniker of "Whiskers the Wonder Cat".

Shenron was localized as "Dragon God" while this is a rather literal translation;

it is interesting to contrast with Funimation's minimization of the religious elements of

Dragon Ball in early localizations.

And while the Japanese music was for the most part maintained, the lyrics were redone in

English and are different to the Japanese version's.

There were also some changes to dialog.

Localizers changed Blood rubies to "earth rubies" presumably to avoid the negative

connotations of the word "blood".

Of more interest is how the dub dealt with Master Roshi and Dragon Ball's many examples

of sexual humor.

The dub maintains scenes of Roshi groping a flight attendant and leering at women.

But there was a clear limit to how far Golden Harmony was willing to allow Dragon Ball's

perverted antics to go.

In the original "Curse of the Blood Rubies" Master Roshi offers to give his dragon ball

to Bulma in exchange for a look at her bare breasts.

Bulma agrees to this but forces Oolong to transform into a clone to trick him.

However in

the Harmony Gold version he simply asks for a kiss.

Oolong's transformation is completely omitted.

Despite the intense efforts of Harmony Gold it still wasn't clear whether Dragon Ball

would be a success in the US.

As a proof of concept, Harmony Gold put the movie and episodes out in several US locals,

such as Chicago.

Unfortunately the ratings were poor and, despite the work that had already been put into the

series, the project was shelved.

While there were limited VHS releases of the Harmony Gold versions of movies one and three,

these are rare.

Due to its limited public release the Harmony Gold dub of Dragon Ball faded from public

memory.

And for years only limited clips of the dub were publicly available with scant details

widely known by the fan community, earning it the title of "The Lost Dub".

However Harmony Gold's work on the series did not entirely go to waste.

Harmony Gold's translated scripts were recycled for use in one of the earliest Mexican dubs

of Dragon Ball entitled Zero y el Dragon Magico, which covered sixty episodes.

A new English dub of Dragon Ball would not appear in the English market for another six

years when in 1995 Funimation and BLT productions attempted their own heavily edited dub of

Dragon Ball.

But this too met with failure and only 12 episodes were released.

Thankfully for Dragon Ball in the US Funimation's 1996 Dub of Dragon Ball Z met with much greater

success.

However it seems some of Harmony Gold's localization made it into the Funimation adaption.

Several minor characters from the movies maintained their Harmony Gold names rather than the Japanese,

and Funimation continues to this day to refer to Kinto'un as the Flying Nimbus.

It could be said the Harmony Gold dub of Dragon Ball remains important for its non-impact.

Some of the choices made in localization stand in contrast to the later efforts of Funimation

and the dub's failure paved the way for Funimation's arguably more faithful adaptions

of the series in the 90s and early two thousands.

How do you feel about the early attempts at localizing Dragon Ball and what series would

you like to see us cover next?

Please let us know in the comments below and, as always, thank you for watching.

How to work with Coax Velocity Factor and Phasing Harnesses for Amateur Radio Coax Feeder - Duration: 12:32.

WARNING - AUTOMAGICALLY PREPARED COMPUTER GENERATED SUBTITLES

every could day my name's Callum from DX Commander. We had an interesting

question on one of the videos the other day

to say, "Callum can you tell us a bit more out velocity factor - what it

means and how it works and so on".. by the way if you bothered by the hair there

is a film recently it's called OMG what have I done?! Yyou'll see it it's for

charity not for this film so velocity factor

anything which has a travelling wave as a velocity factor which is a ratio

between the speed of light and the actual so for instance a fiber-optic

cable will have a velocity factor a piece of coax will have a velocity

factor a piece of Ethernet cat5 cat6 about 64 65 % barely but it is the ratio

between the speed of light and the actual travelling wave through the

medium which very often has to do with the insulation properties now I'm not a

pure physicists you'll probably know that I just know a lot of stuff about a

lot of things which sometimes sometimes can be very dangerous but other times

you can use your common sense but this one is the case now if you're an amateur

radio person and you're worried about velocity factor in the main you

shouldn't need to because you plumb a piece of coax between a and B and it

will just work that's all you need to know the only time you need to be

worried well there may be others but in my opinion and in my experience the only

time you need to be worried about a velocity factor is if you have to cut an

exact piece like a quarter wave of coax to do a particular job a bit of

transformation but a transformer transforming it could be a phasing

harness I'll show in a minute so let me just explain what

I mean so got my special book here so we'll we'll just draw a sine wave of a

nittany okay in in a vacuum speed of light again we've done kind of that

before the speed of light and by the way I should have said when I made that film

what is the speed of light and he's gone excuse me in a vacuum and we will

discover that let's just pick a frequency oh gosh I'm gonna leave a

calculation minute but let's take the seven seven megahertz or 40 meter band

now if you if you go back a few films and you don't need to but I've covered

this before so I apologize if you know I always use the the frequency in

megahertz and 300 and I can always get the wavelength by doing this look 300

divided by 7.1 for instance and let's get it accurately I might cut this out

in a minute 300 divided by seven point one there's

42 0.25 0.25 that's the wavelength so we know that in

a vacuum in free space our wavelength is gonna be from there to there that is

gonna be forty two point two five and indeed on that crest to that crest it's

the same says so if he's a sine wave now then so velocity factor why I gotta

be concerned for that so let's take a for instance if you wanted to and I've

got a pair of stacked halos for two meters horizontally polarized with a

phasing harness so phrasing harness and drama to aerials or two little Yogi's if

you like when you just draw two little Yogi's not very well

act about a wavelength on top of each other and we put a T piece here and we

feed it our 1750 own coax there we've got a T piece and now we've got two

little stubs if you like that one there and that one there now I happen to know

if you build that out of 75 ohm coax

and you'll get a fine match for 50 ohms over here but how long are these bits

gotta be well they've got to be a quarter wave lambda quarter lambda

that's just right wave because I'm only an amateur they've got to be a quarter

wave each now the problem is if I cut it a quarter wave it's 300 divided by n

I'll do it again 300 divided by let's say 1 4 5 okay Mike

divided by 4 a quarter wave is 0.5 1 so for the 2 meter band I'll do it again

over here 300 divided by 1 4 5 equals 0.5 1 7 that's pretty accurate

which effectively is a quarter wave so it's exactly that size there now the

trouble is coax has a velocity factor so cheating cheerful coax somewhere between

65 and 75 percent which means the the wigglies right coming to the coax and

instead of thinking is being in a vacuum they're not actually slowed down but

they travel further to get to the end which makes it look as if it's 65% it

makes the coax look as if for a whole wavelength it's 65 percent of what you

need so for if we were building a phasing harness for 145 megahertz it's

not zero point five one seven if it was made of RG two and three I think

66% so multiply that by 0.66 now my phasing harness each one of these

where'd I put it instead of being point five one each

they're gonna be point three four so zero point three four actually three

four said one so there's a bit of a difference in fact that is sixty six

percent as that now it's the only reason what we need to use velocity factors

when we need to consider making a phasing harness so for instance just one

more and by the way if you were making a phasing harness you could either use a

quarter wave or you could use a three quarter wave for one of them and a

quarter wave for the other because they would barely sync up anyway right

Oh something else is going on but it was how many pages this I got left I

wouldn't be careful they would have run out its book cost me nearly four pounds

so for instance let's say you're building a four square for 40 meter band

and you've got a control box they say Oh use quarter wavelength phasing lines to

these we have to look up the manufacturers spec check what the

phasing line velocity factor is take the wave length and multiply it by 0.6 775

now I use eco flex let's think about it now it's the 7 mil so it'd be the air

sales sever and I think that's got I think that's 84% or something so now

interesting enough for every half so if we take a sine wave again and if we we

have 50 have an unknown impedance here at one wavelength at the very end so

what I could do is I could take a piece if they say for them 40 meter band I

could take a forty minute 42 meter piece of coax less the velocity factor so it'd

be forty two point whatever it was velocity factor times 0.8 for at the

guineas so if I made a piece of coax 35 meters 35.2 8 meters long I could put

my SWR meter here and read the impedance technically of actually what it is here

because the impedance will repeat every wavelength in fact it's every half

wavelength I think I'm pretty sure someone can correct me so I have a piece

of 35 meter long piece of coax from holidays because I know if I'm getting a

50 ohms at one end I'll have 50 ohms down at the shack you see and having

that length it means it also repeats and it gives me great impedance repeating at

20 meters and 15 and 10 it's just me being paranoid really I literally cut it

with the velocity factor in mind hopefully it has just satisfied your

appetite there in the main you don't need ever to be bothered about it and

but before I go we worry about lost some terms don't we now on HF loss on an

average piece of coax which is about 10 millimeters so what's that point Lorna

whatever off inch-thick RG 2 1-3 in those variants which it's you know the

size of that pen sort of thing or maybe a little bit smaller we don't really

need to be worried about velocity factor Oh storm at loss so we we can sometimes

get knickers in a twist about loss it's not just loss it's how much the thing

leaks and if it's leaking RF that's where some of the losses but also means

it's bleeding in I don't know what the technical word is for it so if you've

got local interference you could get not only you don't want

the coax to leak at all you don't want it bleeding in you know once or Matmos

ferret and stuff getting in the coax itself so that's why if you spend you

know I have spent four houses of pounds on pretty high quality coax over the

years because I know for a fact don't matter what I do here if I've got some

shitty cap hex effectively going from here to my aerials I've just wasted all

my effort really yes I've used RG two and three but

that's the minimum spec I would use if you're in Europe then s

airflow air cell 10 is is about the same size as West flex slightly better spec

again it's leakage properties are very good if you aren't smaller you could try

the sf4 air flex fake 7 SL 7 you'll still 5 which is the same size as rg-58

but with the spec of almost our chief 203 may seize it in the father

apparently Nevada apparently do the air cell in that hole 15 eco flex things

make from made by the same motor Scout same company I don't forget it in the

state's you got you use all this andrew stuff they're really hard line stuff

don't you but in the UK it's pretty unheard we got fairly small gardens most

of us around here and we're not really into the into the world of having you

know huge runs of Care Act particularly for two meters though you know get you

spend your money on your coax because the loss is a certainly mounts up anyway

hopefully I was just giving a little inkling about a velocity factor and

basically don't need to get your knickers in a twist a about it! My name's Callum I'm from DX

Commander and all the best - see you next time

bye now

Murmuring.. .. three quarters isn't it..?

How to HC STOPPIE? | MTBstunt School #6 - Duration: 5:14.

Hello! Here is Kamil Kobędzowski.

Today I will show you how to ride on front wheel

sitting on the handlebar

So HC stoppie. I invite you!

[WHAT IS HC STOPPIE?]

It is riding on the front wheel sittng on the frame

How to ride on the front wheel - stoppie

I explained you in previous video

Check it. Somewhere here or here will be a link.

To riding on front wheel on frame we add

a balance of legs

And all trick is easier to do

Cause we can easily jump of forwards

and we have free legs which we can move to balance

[FIRST STEPS]

Firstly we have to learn riding on the handlebar

and frame

How to do this?

There are two ways.

We can put our one leg over the bar then socond one.

while sitting on the frame.

Or we put both legs together

and we slide from the seat on the frame.

I will show you how does it look in practice.

[1st WAY]

We go with comfortable speed

We put firstly one leg on the handlebar

we sit

And then we put second leg, we can ride like this.

To get back we reverse moves.

[2nd WAY]

Second way to sit on the frame

We reach comfortable speed

We put both legs over handle bar

We jump a little, we move on the frame

And we already sit in right postion

To get off the bike, lean on the side after stopping.

If you are short it could be a little bit difficult for you.

But I think you can do it!

[RIDING ON FRONT WHEEL]

To start riding on front wheel,

similar like with basic stoppie

When we already sit on the frame

we brake and by this we raise rear wheel

And to go forwards we lose the brake

And then we will roll forwards.

So we speed up and get on the handlebar

and we brake.

At first you probably stand imidiately in place

or you roll very short distance

or you fall forwards

Don't worry, it needs training.

Okay, so again we reach some speed,

we get on the frame

we pull a brake

and we realase it to go further.

We get off on side.

[BALANCING BY LEGS]

Next thing what we can add to HC stoppie

when we already can roll some distance on front wheel

is balancing by legs.

When we straighten our legs

rear wheel will raise up.

When we bend them, rear wheel will fall down.

This way we can balance by legs which are heavy

We can catch the balance point

and go on front wheel even without brake.

We reach speed

We get on the handlebar, we start stoppie

When we straighten legs wheel raise up

when we bend legs, wheel falls

In this way we can feel balance and go further distance

[BICYCLE ASSURANCE]

Last thing we should remember is bike assurance.

When we brake too strong

we will fall forward / jump on legs

It's good to remeber to catch the bike

or at least hold handlebar

to assure it

to not fall and to not hit the ground heavily

HC stoppie needs a lot of tries

So it would be a pity to crash the bike quickly.

1. Get on the bike frame

2. Brake to start riding on front wheel

3. Balance by legs

4. Assure the bike

Okay, so it was a few advice

how to start HC stoppie

I you have any doubts I invite you to write comments.

I invite you to subscribe and follow the channel

There will be more guides.

And let me know what you would like to watch next.

I invite you aaaaaaaand Bye

We got heat up so strong today!

Sun is beatiful...

Have a nice day..!

Review RC4WD tires for LEGO / Обзор новой RC4WD резины для ЛЕГО - Duration: 15:20.

Hello, everybody! You're on the LEGO Garage channel, my name is Egor.

Today we will look at... No, not the cars.

Today we will look at what makes them perform good at cross-country

makes them look cool and

and

so brutal - that's the wheels

The pre-ambula is as follows - once I've started to build such cars

in such scale, I have built them only using 62mm wheels

bacause for this scale, this is the only option

These are the most realistic wheels by LEGO

won't get tired to repeat that.

Sure firstly they have been created for heavy trucks

for LEGO heavy trucks

This statement explains why these wheels can hold the load so greatly

They have straight thick sidewalls,

so they good to hold the models' weight

Actually, I build SUV's using these tires, not heavy trucks

But there was always a loss of thread

and the size of these wheels

if they could be a little bigger

A bit later I have discovered 68mm wheels

They, for sure, solve many issues

Firstly, rubber on these wheels is a bit smoother

it deforms better under the weight

Let's say it has bigger contact spot

when passing the obstacles

Secondly, they look much cooler, because they are wider and have bigger radius

And the last thing that discouraged me to use them was their price

You can find used as well as new wheel

But the price for both is just very huge

way higher than 1000 rubles per wheel

So, after buying a few such wheels once

I stopped of doing that, as it's a complete devastation

After that, guys started to use RC wheels

but the size of them is 1.9 inches,

and they are more suitable for 56mm rims

used on large models

So I kept waiting, but unfortunately could't find any alternative tire for 62mm wheels

Have found, you know, some tires for some kind of

wheels.. they look like rubber..

but they were, you know, for some kind of industrial trolleys, not for scaled toys

rubber of these tires is very, very hard

but I somehow managed to assemble them here

About 2 years ago I began to think

is there any chance I can produce desired tires by myself?

In principal, there is nothing quite difficult,

all you need to do is to make casting form

in which a liquid rubber will be poured in

and then will be cooled down

I've been tormented a lot, looking for who can produce it in Russia

but unfortunately cannot find anyone

So I found another way, much easier for me

but not the cheapest, for my regret

to contact with someone, who knows how to do it the best way

who produce that kind of scaled toy tires

manufacturers of RC cars tires, of course

And the first company that came to my mind was RC4WD

This company well known as company that uses

expensive, top-quality materials

I don't say that they are the best

but these guys really make expensive, great quality products

And the fact that these products are being sold well

tells us that the product is really good

We produced these two products

These are 68mm tires

Thread patterns are based on tires

that are available for purchase at RC4WD store

This is the tire that based on Dirt Grabber model

Also known as first generation BF Goodrich A/T tire

And second one is based on BF Goodrich M/T

which is named as Rock Crasher at RC4WD store

Wheels can be purchased either on american RC4WD.com site or at russian EBricks.ru site

Worldwide shipping available at both stores

Price for one wheel will be approx. 500-600 rubles

and they are sold only in pairs

Like at RC4WD site - one lot means two tires

That way, four tires kit will cost you around 2000 rubles

American store, as well as russian store will sell tires worldwide

so they can be shipped to any desirable country

I want this video to be more informative

and not only commercial

Because of that, I will tell you more about thes tire

in particular, will show you how it seats on rim

Every product is a compromise of many attributes

And this product also has it's pros and cons

First of all, rubber.

It's a very smooth compound

it has good grip

can adopt well to the terrain

Also need to mention that if we will compare them to 62mm wheels

I cannot say that this new rubber is better than LEGO one

Why? Because LEGO tires have also very good compound

and when they're clean, not dusty or dirty

it grips very well even on a flat surface

Another thing, if we are riding on stones,

where we need real grip, where we need ground grousers

the LEGO tire isn't enough

And these new custom tires will perform better

But on flat surfaces, it's not the fact that this tire will win

Because of that standard LEGO tires was designed for heavy trucks

it has very straight, hard sidewalls and keep the weight very well

consider that a slight deformation may occur under load

but as usual LEGO models are not that heavy to wrinkle the tire like this

When producing these custom tires

we wanted, first of all, make them a little bigger

Dimensions of both M/T & A/T tires are around 68mm.

of course, some deviations can be seen

anyway, they are bigger than 62mm wheels

And this was done to replace these very expensive 68mm wheels

So you not only get alternative thread pattern for 62mm wheels

but also get minor growth in clearance, and that's very useful, I think

RC4WD tire is a little bit narrower than so called "Black Cat" tires

which are 68mm by LEGO

Why? Because if we install these wider LEGO tires, which are 24mm wide

when we use them on the front axle

sometimes happens that these bulging sidewalls

they create touch condition between themselves and front knuckle

front axle and etc.

Because of that, initial goal was wheel to keep 68mm diameter

but to make width as standard 62.2 mm LEGO tire

approx. 20mm

We also kept in mind that these custom tires are smoother than the standard ones,

so while deformation, tires will expand and their width will even grow

That's how it seats on the rim.

As you can see, tire can bulge a little

It can be seen that from the one side it's like bloated a little

but from the other - it seats more or less even

It's not an issue, as the tire will warp to one or another side

while driving through obstacles

It's normal, it will look like tire with slightly dropped pressure on a real SUV

Here I have black painted rims, they are not geniune

Rim itself is genuine, but spray-painted black

I guess you are interested it seats on the rim?

It seats really good

While assembling the tire

a little effort is needed

but this effort

is not that heavy

Seats like that

Sidewalls thickness is made exactly for seating slot

of this rim

Seated like that

That's all

Look like this at the end

Similar with this wheel

It seats exactly like the other one. Seats well.

No way tire can slip on the rim

Each tire has built-in foam inside

These foams actually being used on all RC car models

Honestly, I did not test the tires without the foam

But I think that

without foam inserts they would be much more smoother

and tire's cross-stability will be violated

Bigger chance that tire will freeplay from side to side

So it's really recommended to use these tires with foam inserts

Despite the fact that there is a foam inside, wheel has tendency for lateral movement, deformation

Because of that I warn you that these custom tires won't seat as straight as standard 62mm tire does

So if you will drive your model over obstacles often, little skewness can occur

I personally do not notice that, even if it's present, it's not that critical

But keep that in mind before purchasing, don't expect that custom tire will seat as well as LEGO tire does

Tire itself has a little deformation

It will crumple a little while driving through obstacles

And that's good, because the goal of this tire is not just to look cool on the shelf

but also to perform good while driving through obstacles.

And they will perform great doing that.

But still, the last word is yours, so leave your questions down at the comments section

I will show a little test-drive as well.

What I want to add, if these tires will be used with LEGO's standard power sources,

like Li-Po or Battery Block,

you will not get

full pleasure of using these custom tires

Because all the offroad potential these tires have, will not be shown during small speeds

You will be able to slip and overcome the obstacles, if you equipped with alternative power source.

Everything moves forward, so right now we have SBricks as well as BuWizz

And now these tires have arrived

I think that

trophy theme will evolve further

If these tires will perform well in terms of

how they will be accepted by the market

I cannot exclude a chance to produce any other tire

So, friends, the model on these tires looks like this

As for me, looks really cool

And now let's change the tires on Hilux as well

Put on some aggressive tires as well

And it looks like this

Except obvious advantages: larger diameter and better grip after 62 mm LEGO wheels

I also noticed, that cars on new wheels drives smoothly, softer on bumps, obstacles

comparing to LEGO 62.2x20 mm LEGO wheel

Also check the FULLtest drive video, link is below

Except this two cars, you can also see 2 another: one with 2x L motors, and other one with locked differentials

One more important moment, I forgot

These tires looks like scale copy, but some of you may note: propotions are wrong

Yes, for example, MT tire have modified thread pattern

To prevent competition between two tires, they shoud be very different

Because 100% scale tires will be very close in performance

Where LEGO models usually perform - indoor obstacles playing

I am sure you still have a question: which one is better MT or AT?

Frankly speaking, no idea. I need more time to compare them find out where one better than other...

But I am sure, its performance is very close, so choosing one can be question of design

I am ready to answer your questions below. Subscribe, comment and like if you find this interesting. Bye!
