Waching daily May 27 2018

Warning: Sodium hydroxide is corrosive, wear gloves when handling it.

The reaction also emits fumes and dust.

Work outside or in a fume hood.

Greetings fellow nerds.

Enough really complicated chemistry.

Today let's do something simple that doesn't require a Ph.D. in the field.

In this video, we're going to make sodium silicate.

By itself, it's not all that interesting, but it's a useful precursor to many silicon based chemicals.

Now i already did this many years ago using sodium hydroxide and silica gel from desiccant bags.

But you needed rather high temperatures to dissolve the silica gel desiccant.

I've recently found something much better, silica gel based cat litter.

Now i know most cat litter is based on clay but you can find some types of cat litter based on silica gel.

It's usually called crystal cat litter or some variation thereof.

While expensive for cat litter this is much cheaper than silica gel desiccant packs.

Now silica gel is clear or white, these blue particles are actually silica gel that's been prepared with a small amount of cobalt salts.

They're blue when dry but change to light pink when wet.

For most of my work this won't be an issue but if you're doing sensitive chemistry you might want to pick out the blue particles and just retain the white ones.

Now to make sodium silicate we start with about 60 grams of the silica gel based cat litter.

I strongly recommend using new cat litter.

You can used previously used cat litter if you desire, but i feel that would be a bad idea.

Anyway to this we add 100 mL of water.

It may bubble but that's just air inside the silica gel being forced out by the water.

It's not actually boiling.

Now with stirring, add 80 grams of sodium hydroxide in small portions.

Don't add it in all at once or it will boil out of control from the self-heating.

I got my sodium hydroxide from drain opener.

So what's happening.

Silica gel is essentially amorphous silicon dioxide that's been made by aqueous chemistry.

The sodium hydroxide dissolves the silica gel to form sodium silicate.

Commercially, sand is used as the source of silica but that requires strong heating to dissolve.

The self-heating from the sodium hydroxide dissolving alone is not enough.

This is because sand is a crystalline solid, and to break up the crystal structure requires energy.

But silica gel is amorphous as well as being very porous.

So the sodium hydroxide can easily penetrate into the particles and very little energy is needed to break up the amorphous structure.

I'm not sure why, but the silica gel in cat litter is particularly reactive and will dissolve in sodium hydroxide without additional heating.

This is also a vast improvement over my previous source of silica gel from dessicant bags, which required strong heating to dissolve.

Now the ratio i'm using of two moles of sodium hydroxide and one mole of silica produces the classic sodium silicate formula known as sodium metasilicate.

But sodium silicates are not strictly defined as this ratio.

Sodium silicate actually covers a broad range of ratios and you can use four moles of sodium hydroxide to make sodium orthosilicate.

Alternatively you can have silica rich formulations and even non-stoichiometric ones.

There isn't a hard defined limit as to the ratios you can have.

Although as you approach higher amounts of silica, it tends to become harder and harder to dissolve.

Nonetheless they're all given the generic name of sodium silicate.

Now It may be helpful to scrap the sides of the container for silica gel particles.

They don't wash down and need to be mechanically removed.

Now once all the sodium hydroxide is added, let the mixture stir for several minutes to ensure complete reaction.

The silica gel in cat litter might not be all that pure so i recommend filtering to remove any insoluble particles.

This should be done while the solution is still hot.

If it's cold it becomes a viscous syrupy mass that's extremely slow to filter.

Now whatever you do, do not use fritted glassware to filter the sodium silicate.

Sodium silicate is essentially dissolved glass and can clog your frit.

Use a disposable paper based filter.

And there we have it, a solution of sodium silicate.

Now as said before, it will be a viscous syrupy mass.

I recommend keeping it in liquid form and pouring off the quantity you need for your experiments.

To standardize the concentration, top up the solution to a known volume and then divide that from the molar quantity to get the molarity.

In my case, i'm topping my solution to 200mL of volume.

Since i have one mole of sodium silicate I divide that 0.2 Liters to get the concentration of 5 Molar.

Be sure to stir your solution to homogenize it.

Now you might be wondering if you can dry it and get sodium silicate crystals.

You can, but i don't think it's worth it.

This syrup doesn't seem to evaporate, and while you could try to boil it dry i found there was a terrible side effect.

While most chemicals boil dry into a powder.

Sodium silicate dried into a very hard cement that cracked the glass.

This isn't surprising actually, sodium silicate is well known for being part of many types of inorganic binders, cements and other adhesives.

I'll probably explore that particular chemistry in the future.

For now i just want to use the sodium silicate as part of a much larger project to make various catalyst supports.

I also intend to revisit the classic chemical garden experiments.

Thanks for watching.

Insiders Reveal Secrets of Underground Military & Corporate Bases with Futuristic - Duration: 12:36.

Insiders Reveal Secrets of Underground Military & Corporate Bases with Futuristic Technologies

BY MICHAEL SALLA

The May 22 episode of Cosmic Disclosure featured a bombshell interview of two insiders, Emery

Smith and Corey Goode, who discussed their direct knowledge of classified underground

bases and the super advanced technologies used there.

They revealed the security protocols, policy oversight, and travel and cloaking technologies

secretly used at the bases.

Goode is best known for his first hand experiences inside multiple secret space programs, and

also contacts with different extraterrestrial and Inner Earth groups that he began publicly

disclosing in late 2014.

He says that much of his knowledge of these underground military/corporate bases came

through reading briefing documents found in smart glass pads he had access to during his

20 and back programs, as well as direct personal experience during his covert service.

Goodes testimony in secret space programs has been extensively covered by David Wilcock

in the Cosmic Disclosure series and his book, The Ascension Mysterious; and also in my Secret

Space Programs book trilogy.

Both Wilcock and I have identified hundreds of sources and documents that corroborate

many of Goodes claims.

Smith publicly emerged as an insider/whistleblower in December 2017 to share his direct experiences

in multiple classified programs that began with him being trained as a Surgical First

Assist by the US Air Force at Kirtland Air Force Base.

He has provided a number of documents on his website that substantiate his military training

and work as a surgical assistant.

He has two patents granted in 2004 and 2011 featuring innovative medical devices.

On his LinkedIn page he refers to two medical papers he has collaborated in writing.

I personally spoke with the main author of the first paper written in 2006, Robert J.

Mandle, Ph.D., who confirmed Smiths involvement and his competence as a medical researcher.

Smith has given a number of interviews on Cosmic Disclosure and elsewhere where he has

discussed his involvement in corporate/military experiments involving medical examination

of approximately 3000 tissues samples from extraterrestrials, hybrids and other exotic

life forms.

He says that performed autopsies on approximate 250 extraterrestrial bodies at classified

underground facilities at Kirtland Air Force Base, and and elsewhere.

In the May 22, Cosmic Disclosure interview, Smith and Goode compared their respective

knowledge about security, locations and technologies used at the underground facilities.

The interview has been made publicly available for free here.

Goode also provides free transcripts of all his Cosmic Disclosure episodes which are available

here.

What is remarkable for the listener, is how well Goodes recollections of what he read

in the smart glass pads, matches what Smith described directly experiencing when visiting

these underground military/corporate facilities.

Highlights of their discussion was their common knowledge of how hundreds of secret bases

in the US alone, while often on military installations, are actually controlled by corporations:

Emery: Im aware of, in just the U.S. alone, about 300 of these facilities.

Now, when you say government, I want to, like, talk about that, because its not always

the government that owns these facilities.

They GUARD these facilities the military does but they dont always . . . are

in control of the facilities, because they are owned by larger corporations and unknown

organizations.

Corey: That have different oversight.

Emery: Exactly.

Corey: Right.

Underground Bases where Emery Smith has worked.

Source: Gaia.com Smith and Goodes claims here have enormous

significance since it reveals how the U.S. military may be kept out of the loop of what

is happening on many classified projects which are run on military installations by corporations.

This brings to mind an incident from 1997 involving Rear Admiral Tom Wilson, who was

briefed on a classified UFO related project by Dr. Steven Greer and Dr. Edgar Mitchell

(Apollo 14 astronaut), but was denied access by corporate attorneys.

What made the incident quite remarkable was that Admiral Wilson at the time was the J-2,

head of Intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Smith and Goode further discussed how the hundreds of bases in the US, others around

the planet and even off planet are connected via a highly developed maglev rail system:

Corey: Some of the bases are . . . you cannot access them from the ground whatsoever.

You have to go through the tram system, the secret tram system underground.

Emery: Yeah.

Corey: And the only entrance and exit is through that tram system.

And often, they will be very deep, as Ive said before.

At a certain depth, youre no longer considered in United States territory.

And so you then have free rein.

Emery: Absolutely, yeah.

And I was getting to that, because once you get down there, you have to take the tram.

And many of them have different types of maglev and lavatube devices to get you there.

And you can actually wear a seat belt in these things, but you dont need to.

You dont even know youre going because its so fluid, and it gets up to such a

high speed.

And I dont know how fast that is, but I heard some of these can go over 500 miles

per hour.

Corey: Yeah, I was hearing over 700.

Emery: Yeah.

So once you get there, whether youre taking the chair, the gondola, or youre taking

these maglev tubes the egg thing once you get there, then you have to still go through

another security checkpoint.

Corey: Because you could be in another country for all you know.

Emery: Right.

Or another planet.

Corey: Right.

Exactly.

I was actually talking about that recently, about how . . . Recently, when I was brought

up to the Lunar Operation Command, I was brought into a room for a briefing, and there was

a window.

And I looked out the window, and I saw Mars.

Emery: Ha, ha.

Yes.

Corey: And I was told that a lot of times, people will take these trams.

And much like I took a tram, and it ended up on another planet . . .

Emery: Yes.

Illustration of a travel pod in the underground rail system.

Source: Gaia.com Both Smith and Goode have provided a lot of

additional details about the capabilities of the secret underground shuttle system that

was first exposed in 1995 by Phil Schneider in a series of interviews that culminated

in his murder/suicide months later in January 1996, and in a book authored by Dr. Richard

Sauder, Underground Bases and Tunnels: What is the Government Trying to Hide (1995).

Additionally, Wilcock pointed out some of the others that have come forward since Schneider

and Sauders ground breaking revelations:

Let me also just say for the record that Bob Dean, Pete Peterson, Jacob and Henry Deacon

have all reported on this phenomenon of sub-shuttle systems where you get transported somewhere

else, and you dont even realize it.

Youre just riding in the thing, and you go somewhere else.

Wilcock asked Smith and Goode what they knew about the metallic element Thorium in relation

to underground bases:

Corey: Well, I know that in the programs, the craft, research vessel, I was assigned

to, originally it was nuclear.

And then they replaced it with a thorium based.

And then they replaced it with some sort of an electromagnetic engine that had these long

tubes that they would put something in that they called minnow baskets that would

spin.

And if you move it up and down, you get a little bit of play in the electromagnetics.

Emery: Right.

Corey: And I think its some sort of electromagnetic friction thats going around.

And these leads are picking up the energy and shooting it wirelessly through the tubes,

which then go directly to these huge capacitors.

Emery: Right.

Yeah, a lot of capacitors are used in these bases to hold the energy.

Im not an expert at thorium, but I was recently on a project where a private organization

a private corporation hired me to . . . They sent out people all over the United

States a scientific team to find the LARGEST deposit of thorium here in the United

States.

And I know exactly where thats at.

And that is also in New Mexico.

Im not going to tell you the city its located near, but Ill tell you its in

New Mexico.

And theres an unlimited amount of thorium there that could power all the planets, and

all the bases, and, of course, us right here indefinitely INDEFINITELY I mean with

the amount of energy we already currently use.

Smith and Goode are revealing that Thorium is used in a cold fusion process that provides

a virtually unlimited power supply for covert projects and spacecraft.

Smith and Goode go on to discuss the latest hologram technology, and how incredibly advanced

it has become to the extent that holograms can physically appear to be hard and even

have mass:

Corey: Yeah, lots of that technology the masking technology with holograms.

Emery: Lots of it.

Corey: Theyve even developed holograms to a point to where they have mass.

Emery: Right.

Corey: Or they call them hard light, to where they can . . .

Emery: You can cast a shadow.

Corey: Yeah, you can do a hologram, and you can walk up and tink, tink, tink, like

a piece of glass.

Or even they can make it even thicker in depth.

Emery: Yeah, I totally can attest to that as well, and I was part of . . . not part

of that, but there was compartmentalized projects near me during that that were working on satellites

that could do that, or they were putting that technology in satellites in the early 90s,

and I think it was probably before that.

Corey: Yeah.

Whats crazy is theyll have a hard light panel.

They remove the source of the power or electricity, and it stays.

Emery: Right.

Project Bluebeam features Holographic technology to simulate an alien false flag event

Smiths and Goodes corroboration of their respective experiences and knowledge of technologies

used at underground bases is highly significant, given extensive documentation possessed by

Smith validating his core claim of having been a trained surgical assistant that participated

in covert autopsies of dead extraterrestrials conducted at Kirtland Air Force base and other

classified locations.

The conclusion emerging from their first joint Cosmic Summit interview is that Smiths

experiences and documentation corroborate key elements of things Goode has been saying

since late 2014.

This is important supporting evidence for those still undecided about the veracity of

Goodes incredible claims.

Smith and Goode will be appearing together in future Cosmic Disclosure episodes, and

will again compare their experiences and knowledge about highly classified programs.

This upcoming series of Cosmic Summit interviews is essential viewing for all seeking

the truth about secret space programs.

Morgan Freeman Responds to Misconduct Allegations in New Statement: 'I Did Not Assault Women' - Duration: 1:25.

For Complex News, I'm Hanuman Welch

Morgan Freeman has issued a second statement on the sexual harassment allegations made

against him according to Variety.

The 80-year-old actor was accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate conduct by multiple

women on Thursday and released a brief statement apologizing later in the day.

CNN published a report detailing the accusations, which ranged from unwanted sexual comments

to touching.

The new statement from Freeman, via his publicist Stan Rosenfield, reads:

QUOTE "I am devastated that 80 years of my life

is at risk of being undermined, in the blink of an eye, by Thursday's media reports.

All victims of assault and harassment deserve to be heard.

And we need to listen to them.

But it is not right to equate horrific incidents of sexual assault with misplaced compliments

or humor.

I admit that I am someone who feels a need to try to make women—and men—feel appreciated

and at ease around me.

As a part of that, I would often try to joke with and compliment women, in what I thought

was a light-hearted and humorous way.

Clearly I was not always coming across the way I intended.

And that is why I apologized Thursday and will continue to apologize to anyone I might

have upset, however unintentionally.

But I also want to be clear: I did not create unsafe work environments.

I did not assault women.

I did not offer employment or advancement in exchange for sex.

Any suggestion that I did so is completely false."

Malaysia Plane Mystery SOLVED - Duration: 3:45.

A GROUP OF INTERNATIONAL INVESTIGATORS HAVE FINALLY

CONCLUDED WHAT BROUGHT DOWN MALAYSIAN AIRLINES FLIGHT 17.

THIS IS A FLIGHT OR A PLANE THAT WAS TAKEN DOWN BY A MISSILE IN

THE UKRAINE YEARS AGO AND THROUGH AN INVESTIGATION THE

RESEARCHERS HAD DETERMINED THAT THE MISSILE WAS TIED TO RUSSIA.

THERE WERE SUSPICIONS THAT THE MISSILE WAS TIED TO RUSSIA BUT

NOW THROUGH THE INVESTIGATION THEY WERE ABLE

TO PROVE IT.

IT'S IMPORTANT TO DO THESE INVESTIGATIONS AND GET THE HARD

EVIDENCE AND MAKE CONCLUSIONS AND THEY WERE VERY SPECIFIC.

THEY SAID ACTUALLY CAME FROM THE RUSSIAN MILITARY'S 53RD

ANTI-CRAFT MISSILE BASE IN A RUSSIAN CITY.

HAVING SAID THAT, IT WAS PRETTY OBVIOUS HE DID IT FROM THE

GET GO.

THE RUSSIANS HAVE ALWAYS DENIED IT, THEY STRONGLY DENY IT

AS TRUMP WOULD SAY AND THAT IS NOT SURPRISING.

THE RIGHT WING AUTHORITARIAN SELIG GOVERNMENT OF VLADIMIR

PUTIN SAYS I DID NOT SHOOT THAT PLANE DOWN BUT IT CAME FROM

THE RUSSIAN SIDE AND SHUT DOWN A PLANE GOING OVER THE UKRAINE.

WHO DO YOU THINK THAT?

BOTSWANA?

KNOW WHY I ALWAYS USE THEM AS AN EXAMPLE.

LET'S SHOOT DOWN AN AIRLINER IN EASTERN UKRAINE AND SHOOT

THE MISSILE FROM THE RUSSIAN SIDE.

WAS IT INDONESIA?

OF COURSE IT WAS RUSSIA.

BUT AT LEAST NOW IT IS TO ALL RATIONAL PEOPLE BEEN PROVEN.

WILL RUSSIA EVER COMPENSATE THE VICTIMS, THE FAMILY

MEMBERS, UKRAINE, DO ANY OF THAT?

KNOW, THEY WILL PROBABLY KEEP STRONGLY DENYING IT BECAUSE

THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT REALITY.

AND WE HAVE A LOT OF DISCUSSIONS ABOUT FOREIGN

POLICY AND HOW GOING AFTER STATE-SPONSORED TERRORISM

IS IMPORTANT BUT THERE ARE SOME STATES THAT SPONSOR TERRORISM

THAT WE NEVER WORRY ABOUT, THAT WE NEVER HAVE DISCUSSIONS ABOUT.

ALMOST 300 AND INNOCENT PEOPLE DIED AS A RESULT OF THIS

PLANE BEING TAKEN DOWN BY A MISSILE, AND WILL RUSSIA

PAY ANY CONSEQUENCES FOR IT?

I DON'T KNOW.

TO BE FAIR, I DON'T KNOW, BUT IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP IN

MIND THAT THESE ACTIONS DO TAKE PLACE AND THERE IS EVIDENCE

TYING IT BACK TO VLADIMIR PUTIN, TO THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT

AND I WANT TO BE CLEAR THAT THE INVESTIGATORS DID NOT

CONSIST OF PEOPLE IN THE DNC IN THE UNITED STATES.

I WANT TO BE CLEAR ABOUT THAT BECAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT.

THE INVESTIGATORS INCLUDED PEOPLE FROM THE NETHERLANDS

BECAUSE CLEARLY THIS FLIGHT WENT FROM THE NETHERLANDS TO

MALAYSIA, OR IT WAS SUPPOSED TO SO THERE WERE A NUMBER OF

DUTCH INVESTIGATORS INVOLVED IN THISÖ WAS NOT A POLITICAL

ATTEMPT TO GO AFTER RUSSIA, THIS WAS AN ATTEMPT TO FIGURE

OUT WHAT HAPPENED AND FIND EVIDENCE TO PROVE IT AND

THAT IS WHAT THEY DID NOT

NOT JUST THE UKRAINIAN GOVERNMENT BUT THE JOTT

DUTCH GOVERNMENT, THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT AND EVERYONE WHO

HAD A CITIZEN ON THAT PLANE SHOULD DEMAND JUSTICE FROM

THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT.

THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE SHOULD ALSO DEMAND JUSTICE FROM THE

RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT.

There's Power In Coming From A Place Of Adversity by Choice Skinner - Duration: 8:19.

Film Courage: Choice, did you grow up in New York? Choice Skinner, actor/instructor: Yeah... I was born and raised Brooklyn, New York

and I went to high school there, went to elementary school there, went to junior

high school. Yeah and I always say that I'm a project kid. I don't have any

problem saying that. You know that's something that uh sometimes people have

a little shame with but I don't because I wouldn't be who I am if I didn't have

those experiences. I grew up not too far away from Mike Tyson you know in New

York. We have what's called blocks. And a block is maybe a couple of yards

depending on where you stay. I was in East New York (Brooklyn).

I grew up across the street from Jefferson High School. So Mike Tyson

stayed in the opposite direction and it's a funny story about that Mike Tyson.

He has some cousins and one day I had some sneakers that was given to me some

Converse All Star we used to call them (leather, black on white, upper ankle tops).

And so "high tops" they called me and my brother he was always the guy around

the neighborhood and everybody knew who... was like "you don't mess with this family"

because of him. Well anyway I got these high tops in school and by being on the

honor roll and they were like eight these guys are gonna take your sneakers

I don't like what I just got him like who's gonna take my sneakers and

apparently they were like kind of play cousins of Mike Tyson and so I was

terrified throughout the whole class people were telling me man I'm gonna

take your sneakers what are you gonna do I gotta figure out something so end of

class the bell rings and I'm saying oh my god I got to go out here and we get

beat up in front of everybody and these guys are gonna take my shoes my sneakers

off of my heat so me being the smart person that I was at that age I said

okay I don't want to do that I'm gonna go to the other direction so there was a

teacher who she was leaving and I said listen can I can I leave with you you

mind if I walk out this way we went out the back way as I walk out the back way

I can look down the street on the corner and I could see that these guys were

waiting so I did the right thing and I home as I get to the stoop my brother

standing here he said why you sweating what's going on and I'm like these guys

are gonna take my sneakers there he goes who show me and so I go and I point to

them and he goes all right you go home he beats these guys up yeah my brother

my brother he was an amazing being back then in those days so anyway my point is

the reason why I'm saying that is growing up in Brooklyn it was tough

it wasn't easy I got mugged it was it was tough it was tough back in the 80s

it wasn't easy but it helped me to get into the martial arts which is something

that's helped me in my life tremendously and it helped me to know a lot about

myself so you know I'm a smart guy I mean you can't pull the wool over my

eyes and you can't sell me the Brooklyn Bridge it's not gonna happen anytime

soon so yeah growing up in New York but there

was fun things in New York as well I mean it was great growing up in the 80s

I mean come on you had the best music you know and he had some of the best

experiences ever but uh I learned a lot about who I was and what I was going to

become by growing up in New York. Film Courage: One of my favorite sort of sayings is "owning

your own story." And I heard that one time when I was looking at some comments on an

article and someone talked about that and I was like "Wow?" And it's about

accepting where you're from and who you are and being okay with that. I think a

lot of people do want to put on airs when they come to LA because their shame

or whatever I can say I felt that yeah so when did you decide you know what I'm

gonna own my own story and I'm okay with me I'll tell you this you know when I

when I first came out to LA was for music I was a music producer for an R&B

artist double platinum artists on RCA Records and one of the things that I've

learned you know I was fortunate to have a mom who even though she was raising

five young boys she was strong she went back to college she went got a GED and

went to college at a later age and she always took care of us and she always

made sure we have we needed when I moved to LA it was a thing of okay wait a

minute I've survived New York Brooklyn and why would I have any

shame and being from where I was at in the projects to knowing that there's

things that I can use that I learned as a child here in LA so that whole thing

in New York they call it the rat race being able to pound the pavement being

able to be a go-getter and being real that fit in well for me when I moved to

LA so I didn't have a problem you know letting people know that I was from the

project's I tell you this it's a funny story when I went into a once I got into

acting I got out of music and I got into acting and I went in for an audition and

it was for the part of a thug and so I go in it's it's the audition room and

I'm sitting in a lobby and all these guys sitting up there with tattoos and

stuffing it mean mugging and everything and I don't look anything like a thug I

couldn't begin to do anything to make myself look like a thug no earrings or

anything like that no piercings no tattoos

so I'm saying oh man how am I gonna go in here and get this audition like this

is like you know the one thing that I learned growing up was watching other

people I didn't know I was an actor until I became an actor and so I had a

lot in my data bank and so I go into the room and I go into the room in character

so the casting directors like oh so um hi choice and she goes to shake my hand

and I'll shake hands I saw I'm playing the thug persona I booked the role I

knew I got it when I left out of here because they were so scared then I go

hey I'm just that was me in character hi how you doing I'm sorry shake your hand

before but that was me a character I was just being like the guys from the

neighborhood when I grew up so that helped me tremendously any piece of

wisdom for someone that isn't okay with where they're from they could be from a

cul-de-sac in in a neighborhood that I would have loved to have grown up in but

didn't they could have been from wherever but sometimes people aren't

okay with where they're from for whatever reason any advice to them on

that your circumstances and what you've been through sometimes have yet to

revealed why they are important in your life so in essence what I'm saying is

this the circumstance doesn't make you the

circumstance prepares you for the situation that you're gonna go through

so in essence everything that I went through all the muggings and stuff like

that once I got into martial arts and then once I became an actor I was able

to use so many other things and so there's no shame in what you've been

through the only shame is not telling anyone about it because your

circumstance in your situation is there so that way you can probably help

someone else in the future you would be surprised like just me talking about

being a project kid sometimes I go and I speak at high schools or I'm on a panel

and I'll tell people this and they're like really I would have never thought I

thought you might have been to college and you grew up in a suburb and I'm like

no I chose to speak well because that's what I wanted to be perceived as that's

a person who could speak well and so for me it's a thing of the shame of hiding

something comes from not realizing that there's power in that there's power and

being different there's power and then coming from a place of of adversity who

wouldn't who wouldn't be able to say hey I've been through this and I'm still

here we're strong from that and so they embrace it embrace it because there's so

many people whose lives you're gonna touch and I've learned that by being Who

I am and by being honest about the stuff that I've been through I enjoy it and I

think that anybody that doesn't want to explain a you know explain where they've

come from or what they've been through is there they're not ready to receive

the true blessing which is touching others

you

WHY YOU NEED THE SVSM LEBRON IN YOUR COLLECTION - Duration: 4:06.

Yo today I'm gonna give you three reasons why the air zoom generation LeBron James

SBS M also known as the LeBron one is worth having in your collection

blow the intro

Okay reason number one this shoe right here you see that SP SEM. Ah

Let's just roll the highlight and then you guys can see what I'm talking about

Brah I know you seen the highlight

LeBron he was a man-child and that's what takes me into reason number two childhood memories

Oh man, even as an adult for the adults that can relate to this when they were adults when he was in high school

But me I was a child

I was I was in grade school and I've seen LeBron and it gave me a sense of hope as an athlete just see that

And another young athlete is capable of doing these crazy things. Let alone seeing him in the Jordan nines

He had his own PE in high school. Like who does that?

So now him being able to give back to his high school at SBS Sam with their own colorways player

Exclusives stuff like this. This was a very rare sneaker and very hard to find at one time now that it released

I'm very very happy about this

But just the childhood memories everything that went along that line to see a player at that caliber at such a young age

Given hope to a lot of other young athletes

Amazing on to reason number three first. Let's show a little bit of detail of the sneaker, right? We got to see the sneaker

I just want to give you guys a couple looks at the sneaker real quick. Boom. Boom. Boom

All right back to the outside of the foot. Here you go

You can see you got your white your green in your gold typical SBS M colors

This is one of the first LeBron pease to go to SBS M

There's a lot of hype behind the shoe. If you didn't know how let's go ahead to the back of the sneaker

You can see the SBS M logo in here and then you got the peel tab

Obviously it's chrome, but I don't want to kill that tab off just yet. Alright hop to the sole

You see they got the carbon fiber the green stripes and the white souls. Let's go to the toe of the sneaker

You got your white and then you've got your gold lining on here. All the gold accents on the sneaker are just amazing

I love the style. I love everything about this shoe

And then on the top of the tongue you got your LeBron James logo

Then you got another LeBron logo here. And then on the insult, it's a green insole with the white LeBron James as well

And the only thing I was a little disappointed about was the lace tips

I mean you got all these gold accents might as well throw some gold lace tips on there right now

That you've heard my three reasons why I love this sneaker you

Gotta have it in your collection

That's just how I feel, but if you know

Just let me know what you think in the comments section below because I'm very interested some people love it

Some people hate it me. I'm a sneaker head. I love issue

Okay, I

Think it's getting rough corny house. We got to get out of here. So yeah, leave a comment down below like subscribe

We're gonna see you in the next episode and

I'm running out of energy

I'll catch y'all on the next

Keep Your Back Healthy for Pickleball - Duration: 10:19.

Hey everybody its CJ Johnson. For those of you who have been following the

channel you know that I injured my back and I have been struggling to get

healthy again for the last several weeks. And unfortunately it's kept me from

playing pickleball but my friend and as well as my chiropractor and he's a

certified strength conditioning coach Dr. Norman Sussman has been helping me.

So we decided to shoot this video so that we can help you to!

So Norm why don't you tell everybody a little bit about keeping our lower

backs healthy as we age.

There's a lot of info you could go google what the core is and spend a lot of time

looking like that but for our intents and purposes we're dealing with

everything from the armpit down to the pelvis okay. Because forces come through

the middle of the body both in the front the sides of the back

and as a racket sport and somebody who's you know heavy on the legs you got to

make sure that our forces are coming through our core.

And our goal is going to be endurance. I want as a pickleball player, I need to do

what I can to, not just through my athleticism with skills and techniques, but I want to

be able to encourage endurance of my core, my low back stabilizers in order to

last in the game and last when the game is played later in the day or you're

in pickleball tournament that may be a weekend or longer. It just so happens

that my games later in the afternoon or the evening. Do I have what it takes

because it's not you know we're not an 8 am start. So Norm just started

playing pickleball but he already knows that so many of us are addicts and we

spend so much time at the court we need to work on our endurance to stay out

there and to stay healthy.

So here we are CJ our first exercise is going to be the Curl up. We're going to

keep one knee bent just like this when you drop this leg flat onto the ground.

Now even though it was called a curl up I'm not going to do a traditional crunch

where I'm looking, I'm curling up trying to bend at a little ball coming up. What

I'm going to do is keep a fairly neutral spine. I'm going to act as if I

have a board behind my head all the way down to my hips and we're going to rise

basically maintaining that neutral position of spine. It's going to flex,

that's okay but I want to limit I'm done with my ability to come up once I feel

the spine is going to bend okay. So I have my hands behind my head cradling

the neck no chin poke, no dropping the chin. So here

it is I come up, perfect and back down. So to start we're getting used to the

exercises we crank out a few reps. This is looking good and time. Good so I'm

seeing maybe six reps, eight reps. I'm not cranking it. The next thing, because we

want to build our endurance, we're going to work isometrically.

What does I mean I come up and I hold. among to count back down come up let's

go to the three count one two three eight back down. There it is. So I'm

bringing myself up and build up endurance by holding the contraction and

then releasing. Nice job

Okay CJ next exercise is our side plank.

so we're gonna set this up with you in the center of the mat you have your ear

shoulder hip the line with your knees the legs are flexed the knees

I'm maintaining this nice straight line neutral position in arm as I do you're

going to use your hand to press up and then down here it is we get it again and

back down now so this is the basic one this is not basic and relax night Noah

see if there's a strong athlete who's learning to progressions with the side

plank the exercise she's learning to love so we're going to put the hand now

on the hip and she's going to come up again in this with the knees on the

ground and back down super job so now that she's able to do

this with quality of movement we're gonna earn the progression of

straightening the legs out so she's got her feet stacked and made in the same

line she's going to come up and down nice job

every legs for the pickleball player I would encourage you to go with the hand

up into the air as she does the side planks that helps out with shoulder

stability and back down nice so now she's working her right arm she's

working her support bar and time good job so here the last question on this

month I would encourage you is when you come up should be count for beat down up

and hold increasing your endurance by holding on each rep holding my breath

yes don't stop up the breath no headaches

and there you have it nice job someday I still hate these and now I have to do

the other side right

all right here comes the next exercise wolf or not biggest so we have the

athlete she's got her hands and knees on the mat nice neutral spots by she's

thinking I'm set as a pickleball player so she was gazing forward even though

she's in this position she's gazing looking at the field of play looking at

the man looking at the opponent's looking after a team her partner so here

we're gonna progress with arms coming out and back so we're just going to work

one side and of course you can do it on the other side and this is nice she's

going from four points of contact it's a three once we complete the arm with few

reps we're going to go to the leg so she's been playing for a leg out that's

it not crossing the midline of the body she just sticks the leg out bring the

knee back down excellent so we're looking for any kind of rocking

or twisting in the back we get one more rep here nice job CJ and time things to

think about and look for we want to make sure that we have an integrity of the

back and the core is nice and strong to be able to support her letter next we're

going to go with the arm and the leg so she's throwing this progression we're

now going to see the arm come out with the leg super job so now she's going on

more complex four points of contact to to my stop CJ now because she's pretty

mad she's maintained to the neutral spine she's not rocking it wrong back

and forth to try to leverage this lift with funky body movements she's actually

gonna bring now listen to this first she brings out arm and leg and she goes out

to the side down in up this is the box super job seat J here is bringing it

back and time nice and relaxed now I noticed she had integrity and quality

emotion but let's say you needed to regress it wasn't coming together let's

show the requests so she's gonna bring her arm up and here it is out down in up

so she's just starting with an arm nice job she brings

she's going to start with just a leg out down in here it is and Tom nice right

great job CJ so that's the regression great and that it's not only going to

test your muscles it's gonna test your brain

so now we're on to our fourth and final exercise and this is what I struggle

with as a professional athlete 19 check on how many times and in a competition

and I hold my breath so Norman I've been working on this so why don't you tell

everybody what it's all about sure what ends up happening during the rounds of

excitement in the match I'm going to be breathing heavier and oftentimes I

breathe higher into my lung field so I want to make sure you saw capacity 1/2

of my lungs but I want to make sure I'm drawing my breath low

come take it breaths up high or shallow breathing I'm destabilizing my lower

back so this will help you not only stabilize the low back but it will also

help you recover so in between matches or program torna me I'm gonna get my

head right I can get my oxygenating my body oxygenated blowing off place if I

get my respirations under control so the progression here I have one hand up top

of my chest I'm just making this is perfect and the other on my tummy so how

I'm doing is just breathing in and letting it go here it is she's breathing

into her hand the hand is there to feel it this is what it looks like if you're

breathing high up into the chest she's gonna breathe you'll see the hand

movement a lot of room movement up top we want to avoid this is what we want to

avoid okay both it's going to destabilize the low back and it's

actually putting too much stress on my neck

assaults as well as my upper shoulders which should be part of respiratory

activity the breath should come from the diaphragm pulling down abdominal

contents being distended and relaxed that's how you build a strong for every

breath you take every move you make so those are the four exercises that we

need to be doing but don't leave us yet he's not when should we seek

professional care that's a great question you want to seek professional

care if your symptoms are increasing or if you're not finding a comfortable

position or if you have any concerns based on your history or the nature of

the symptoms I wouldn't hesitate I would absolutely seek professional care so in

other words when in doubt check it out if you got value from this video make

sure that you give it a little thumbs up down below if you got any questions post

it down in the comments and I will get norm to answer them because you know

what together we can train smart with old and aged well
