Waching daily Jun 23 2018

the thing about getting Addicted to series if you have the time for it

and the purpose of Learning from it

no problem , But don't do that when

you have other responsabilities

this is a very Important disclamer So I don't get comments

like I should be addicted .. well yes

Tv and Movies are good teachers if you want them to be

it's so simple not rocket science

not something big . so simple and easy

of course I followed the same steps

I followed when learning other languages which I talked about in other video

and all of these videos you'll find in the description box below so I don't talk much

cause you might have questions and inshallah you'll have answers to them through the videos bellow

people who have been following me since 2010

know that I have learned Turkish newly

from 2013 and up

but as for the hindi and other languages I've learned them since 2004

so I was still a kid

people who are Arabic speakers

wither they know it or not they do speak Turkish (40% of turkish words are Arabic )

now we might differ on wither we actually speak it or not

because here we are talking about making meaningful sentences

The Arabic and Turkish Cultures are so close to each other that's why I liked it much

and really wanted to learn the language

so I did really fast

now there is one thing that was different about leaning Turkish to me

I finished college in 2013 and I couldn't

find a full time job , so I used to work Part time so I had a lot of free time

and I really wanted to learn

but I never Had the time with school first then college and having so many languages n my mind

so I never actually had the time to learn it

But After college I was really open to learn a new language

so the different thing about the process was the fact that I really wanted to do it and Had the time to do so

the other things that you guys don't know I got addicted to Turkish series

in a really constant way ....

at the time there was a series called adını feriha koydum I'll leave the link for it bellow

I was really fond of it so I thought it would be my way to learn Turkish

so I watched it with subtitles

I don't know how many seasons was it but I watched it on the daily

in 2015 I signed up for a course in the Turkish Cultural Center in Jerusalem

a course of lever one and two A1 &A2

To learn How to read and write , so that was the purpose from it to me

and why I went ahead and signed up for it

Now I'm aware that it's written in the latin alphabets but

I did feel at the time that I should sign up and learn it from its people

especially because of the age difference

because I did feel the difference between learning in 2004 and in 2013

and I truly benefited from it a lot

especially because it was intensive, three days a week and you're taught by Turkish Teachers and all of that

and I know for sure that Turkish cultural centers are everywhere in the Arab World now

now what truly helped me shape my turkish is when my sister Btool learned it really well

and we started practicing together and perfecting it

I did vist Turkey twice and I will again soon

don't be afraid to speak the language while you're there

even if you make mistakes cause from mistakes you will learn

do watch series ... Now if I go back in time I might choose a different series to watch

because Now I'm precise when I choose series

I don't just watch

I'm really going for the historical ones like

I could give you suggestion to watch some series

to gain words and learn about Turkey , its culture and its history as well

In general I'm going for these kind of series

of course there are the summer series or what they call youth series

I might recommend some , I did watch

it was a good series . Kara Sevda was one of the shows that really helped shaping my vocabulary

because it was long and the cast spoke different accents as well

so this really helps you when you are in Turkey

you will notice that different places like Bursa and Istanbul and others speak in different accents

even when you go to Bodrum you'll notice that difference

village people speak in a a different accent

I could do another video to explain this further more

Now don't compare yourself to anyone

I'm only giving you advice from my expericne to benefit you like I did

Hope the video was easy and fun to you

Hope you guys Enjoyed it and benefited from it

If you did don't forget me from the likes share and subscribe , click the notification bell to get notified when I upload

by the way the bell icon is very important , now there is new rules on youtube and sometimes , it's the most important thing to get notified

even if you are subscribed you might not get notified so the the most important thing is to have the bell icon on

Josh A & Jake Hill - Ghost Town [Nightcore] (Bass Boosted) [Lyrics] - Duration: 2:46.

Sometimes I don't wanna be alive now Sometimes I don't wanna be alive

Wait a minute I feel like I'm in my prime now

This is all we do you know we headed for the sky

Sometimes I don't wanna be alive now Sometimes I don't wanna be alive

Wait a minute I feel like I'm in my prime now

This is all we do you know we headed for the sky

Born in '96 'cause the 9 to 5 just ain't for me

Dropped out, sacrifice my future just to chase all of my dreams

Nothing's ever what it seems, different behind all the scenes

Try to look behind the curtain I wonder who pulls the strings

And I say f*ck living lavish, I'd rather chase all my passions

My brain is so hyperactive 'cause I got shit more than rapping

I feel alone in my thoughts, these memories just don't stop

I feel these dark thoughts lurking wish I could shut them off

Yeah

Sometimes I don't wanna be alive now Sometimes I don't wanna be alive

Sometimes I don't wanna be alive now Sometimes I don't wanna be alive

Sometimes I don't wanna be alive now Sometimes I don't wanna be alive

Wait a minute I feel like I'm in my prime now

This is all we do you know we headed for the sky

Sometimes I don't wanna be alive now Sometimes I don't wanna be alive

Wait a minute I feel like I'm in my prime now

This is all we do you know we headed for the sky

All my life I've been chasing more than normal everyday situations

It gets so hectic wanting more than what your born in

I stepped in with a vision, I want it, guess what imma get it

My will is unstoppable, no talking let's get to business

All this pressure I'm sending is almost too much to bear

I keep all my lessons I've written inside of my heart it's so dear to me

Keep 'em locked up so near to me, so loud that you can hear me

Scream I'll take over the world with no rest in piece to my enemies

I won't...

Here's What Gender Really Is, According to Science - Duration: 4:45.

How would you describe yourself in a few words?

I'm a cis-man and I like fun shirts.

Our gender plays a big role in how we define ourselves and others, but it's not something

science fully understands.

And, funnily enough, we don't really know why I like fun shirts, either, but no one

questions that so let's just move on.

A lot of us may never really think twice about defining ourselves as a man or a woman, but

there are many who do think about it.

A lot.

In reality a lot of biological, sociological, and psychological factors went into the definitions

of "man" or "woman," or neither.

For example, when babies are born at a hospital, they're assigned a sex based on primary

sex characteristics like genitalia.

Someone literally looks at the baby and makes a decision.

They're mainly going by visual inspection.

And though hormones like testosterone play a big role in developing the primary sex organs

you have at birth.

Sexual differentiation continues beyond birth, with a lot of outwardly visible changes (and

awkwardness) peaking at puberty.

And these processes rely on a whole host of hormones, receptors, and other factors that

come from at LEAST 70 different genes on different chromosomes.

So really, biological sex is not black or white because there are so many variables

going into it that are not necessarily correlated with one another.

Which is why there's good evidence to say there are more than 2 biological sexes.

For example testosterone is important for developing the internal genitalia, but it

needs to be converted by an enzyme for the external genitalia to be made.

So someone could have testosterone, plus all the effects that leads to during development

through puberty, and be "male" in a lot of ways internally...

...but because they're missing one enzyme, things might look a little different on the

outside.

The thing is, most people don't know their genetics or what's inside their abdomen

… so how come we so confidently proclaim -- well anything!

When I say I'm a woman, I'm actually referring to my gender identity.

This might be related to or influenced by primary or secondary sex characteristics,

but knowing our gender identity comes from our brains.

The fascinating thing is we don't really know a ton about what influences this identity...

just like how I might say: I am a confident or anxious person, but don't really know

what EXACTLY in MY brain makes me like that.

There are a few regions in the brain that are different between sexes, including the

interstitial nucleus of the anterior hypothalamus - and the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis,

which is part of the limbic system.

In men, these areas are both larger and have more neurons in them.

And studies to date, albeit small, show the sizes of these areas correlate with the gender

identities of transgender men and women.

Other studies have found differences in white matter microstructures between men and women.

Transgender men who have not yet received hormone treatments had patterns more similar

to those sharing their gender identity, not what they were assigned at birth.

In other words, the sex they were assigned at birth didn't accurately predict their

white matter patterns.

While there are so many different areas of the brain that seem different between men

and women, some researchers argue there are more similarities than differences and there

isn't really a typical "male" or "female" brain.

But given that, ALL of us have incomplete information on our true biological sex, and

that we don't fully understand the neuroscience behind gender

-- or honestly a lot of complex things like why we like fun shirts --

...it doesn't make sense to burden individuals with proving how they feel.

Because scientifically, NONE of us can explain why we feel like a man, woman *indicate to

each other*

And as none of us can say that, by making a minority of people TRY to provide a burden

of proof, we're causing a LOT of health problems.

For example, the suicide ATTEMPT rate among transgender people ranges from 32-50% in a

number of different countries, whereas the overall population average in the US is estimated

around point-zero-four to one-point-one percent%.

Both of these numbers are too high, but the stats for transgender people particularly

so, especially when recent studies show these numbers decrease when transgender people are

socially accepted.

While there are, of course, a lot more scientific questions to ask, we could save hundreds of

thousands of lives by removing social stigma.

We know science will catch up eventually, but in the meantime… we should all recognize

this is more complicated than man, woman, trans or non-binary.

And as is the norm in science, the more we learn, the more nuanced it gets.

And that diversity in people and ideas is what makes the world so cool.

than identity -- click here.

IGTV has one BIG ISSUE before it can compete with YouTube - Duration: 5:49.

Instagram just announced IG TV to compete with you too but how does it

stack up

what's going on well welcome back my name is Matt Doddato today we are talking

about Instagram TV wait IGTV insta TV know IG TV Instagram just released IGTV

it's a long form video capability and everyone's hailing it as a competitor to

YouTube so we're going to take a look at it I'm gonna provide a little bit of

initial impressions and then let's talk about one big thing that it's missing if

it's really gonna be a YouTube competitor text random texts when you're

recording I don't know why I'm looking at the microphone that's stupid

the IGTV rumors were just validated when Instagram announced it on the first

day of VidCon and made things official IGTV is a video service where creators

can upload videos from 15 seconds which is the current limit for instace stories

today all the way up to as much as an hour long of content there's two basic

launch points for this feature one is in the Instagram app as we know today at

the top of the screen and the other is a dedicated app for IGTV that's 100%

dedicated to video so here my initial impressions one vertical video it's

gonna be interesting to see how this plays out because vertical video I think

we've gotten used to a little bit because stories has become a bigger

feature both a snapchat and Instagram and so we're kind of used to seeing that

at least in short form I think the question is gonna be is that really the

format you want to watch more long-form content in and how long is too long

because if we're talking maybe videos that are a few minutes long I think that

totally makes sense if we're talking more longer maybe a 15 minute vlog 20

minute or 30 minute long-form content like a TV show I feel like that's gonna

be a little bit weird that's gonna be a little restrictive and I'm not sure how

open people are gonna be to that but only times gonna tell the other thing I

want to see though is how creative people get with it how can we make the

vertical video format more interesting to where we're using more of the screen

and being able to take advantage for that format for what it is and how do we

alter the type of videos that we create or how we create them to go to make use

of that format error in terms of basic functions they're all there you're

automatically linked to the creators that you follow the Instagram which is

really cool so you don't have to do much to get started when you open up the app

it defaults to the for you section and video which I'm pretty sure is close to

the explore function in Instagram where they pick things based on your behavior

and the things that you like to offer you content that you might be interested

in you also have a place to only look at the people that you're following in

their videos as well as popular videos that a lot of people are looking at

right now in terms of features for video creators obviously you can upload videos

right there from the mobile app it doesn't let you create a video on the

fly you can only upload videos that you've already recorded but you can also

upload from the desktop browser in case you have bigger files or files that you

don't have on your phone in terms of creator monetization

right now there's no monetization options in IGTV but it's something

they've already identified as being on their roadmap so we'll just have to see

how that evolves so let's get to the one big thing that I think Instagram TV

I did it again so let's get to the one thing that i think IGTV is really

missing it is truly going to be a youtube competitor and this is a problem

that is playing facebook and all of their apps for a while

search capabilities that they have right now on IGTV for search are pretty basic

and the only thing you can even search for is people and creators so I think

the glaring miss there is that as much as I think Instagram is great for

discoverability that's primarily because you're trying to build your own personal

brand in Instagram you're trying to build a community around your content

and so the use of hashtags the use of explore helps for Instagram in terms of

discoverability for you but when it comes to long-form video the ability to

search for something and then find that content is a critical piece of it

it's one of the things that makes YouTube as special as it is because

they're so great at search and so discoverability of content is very high

on Instagram today and on IG TV right now it's mainly around discoverability

of creators and if that's not a major piece of the roadmap and it just means

that I do TV is going to be used for something different than YouTube is

YouTube right now is the king of search anything you need from a Content

perspective you can find a video on so when I need to figure out how to fix my

toilet flush valve type it into search I can find the content that I'm looking

for and I can get it done and what I'm not sure is I don't know if the search

feature is something that is gonna be able to be great on Instagram I don't

think we have a history of Facebook really being good at that and I don't

think that's something that can just be manufactured overnight that's really the

bread and butter that started Google so they have a huge head start in terms of

being able to do that well and so the real question will be if search on a GTV

is never going to be really all that great specifically as it relates to

being able to search for content and it's going to severely limit the

possibilities of what corm can be so it's gonna be interesting

to see if that changes over time or if it's gonna primarily remain a place

where creators and people are able to build and really deepen with their

communities and that's all it's gonna end up being and that's the case that's

an extremely valuable and viable use case that we need but it just means that

it's not really going to be a complete YouTube competitor because YouTube is

such a powerhouse when it comes to searchable content and video and so only

time will tell we'll have to see what's the store for

IGTV and what's on their roadmap but outside of my concerns around search the

initial impressions are good it seems like it's a cool new platform it seems

like something that's worth at least trying out exploring and investing in

and we'll just have to see what kind of rises to the top in terms of what type

of videos really work there and which ones maybe go the fun part about this is

that we have a new entrant into the game it helps push competition across all

platforms and so hopefully it gets better overall for everybody and over

time we'll just see what it ends up being that's all I have for you guys

today if you like this video tap that like button down below if you haven't

had a chance yet join the family by hitting that subscribe button cuz these

are matters a life Tech I'll see you next time
