Congratulation
Hi everyone, I'm Mike welcome back to their KomenTennis video
I appreciate you guys for tuning in again when we first started this channel
I was super hyped that we got 150 views on those first couple of videos and now we're approaching
150 subscribers and I just wanted to say thank you to everybody who has subscribed and who has been watching these videos
I
Really? Appreciate it
And it really gets me excited to make more content for you guys and increase the quality of the stuff that I'm producing
now if you're new to this channel
What I'm trying to do here is I'm trying to build one of the greatest tennis communities on YouTube where I can help you guys
Get better and you guys can share your opinions about tennis in the comments section
We can start some discussions about what's been going on in the tennis world as well as improving our game
so if that sounds good to you guys hit that subscribe button down there or the one in the corner of this video and
Help me build the best tennis community on YouTube
so with that being said
I also wanted to make an apology to you guys since there hasn't been a video in a couple of weeks
It's been really busy at work
but finally
I've got a little bit of a break coming up and I'm really excited to make some more content for you guys increase the quality
One thing I'm gonna look into is I know this video is a little bit dark with the lighting that's going on here
And it's not helping that it's a super rainy day here again
but I
will be investing in some better lighting for the videos as well as a microphone that I can actually attach to the color of my
Shirt and take out onto the court
So hopefully I'll have some better content for you guys on court and not just talking to the camera
So that's gonna be something a little bit different exciting to try out for you guys now today's video
I've been kind of teasing the content of the video on my Instagram and if you guys don't follow me on Instagram check out that
Account, I'm gonna show you guys that account right here as well
It's listed in my banner and you can hit that link and see my content right from the banner of my youtube channel
So the thing that I'm sure you guys was the new racquet that I got to test out now
I want to give a big shout out to the racket guys
Once again, if you guys check out my last video where I reviewed three players rackets
Then you guys know that I actually gave them a shout out in that now
I'm actually going to contact with that company through the power of Instagram
We message each other back and forth a little bit and they actually gave me this awesome
Opportunity to test out this brand new unreleased racket from head
I just want to give a big thank you to the people at racket guys that made this happen and I really appreciate that you
Guys would give me this opportunity. Now without being said here's a picture of the racket
I actually posted on my Instagram and you guys can see that this racket has an absolutely awesome color combination the all-black
The nice white grip and those strings are just absolutely insane the way that they pop and I hope that that color comes through in
The pictures because that string that acid green looked absolutely amazing now
This racket is actually the unreleased head speed racket
This particular model is the head speed MP. Now these new rackets. They actually use a brand new technology
They use the head graphine 360 technology. Now what this is
It's just a variation of the placement of the graphene within the racket
now you guys know that they already have the
Graphene version of the rack of the originals and that I actually use one of the original versions I use the graphene
XT I believe it's called and then that was followed by the graphene touch
Which is the current generation that's available for sale. And now this new one is called the graphene 360
there's more wrapping for stability on the throat of the racket as well as the sides at the top so that kind of gives it
that 360 hence the name graphene 360
I'll show you guys a brief clip of me on the cord actually trying out the racket and I'll see you guys right
After I'll give you my opinion of what I thought the racket was actually like so I hope you guys enjoy this quick little clip
And I'll see you guys in a minute
So I hope you guys enjoyed that I know it wasn't the longest video
I actually forgot to bring my tripod that day so luckily
I had a friend that was able to help me out and film a little bit of the play test
now getting into what that racket felt like to hit with I want to talk briefly about the racket that I play with just to
Kind of give you guys context of what I use compare it to this racket. So I use this one here
This is the head graphine XT and this is the speed Pro version
The speed Pro version is the heaviest version of the speed line that they offer and mine is actually a little bit heavier I added
Some weight on it just to make it a little bit beefier
Make it a little bit easier to handle
some big serves and big shots from other players for those that don't know the speed MP is actually the
Mid-level version in terms of weight so that one has slightly lower weight
It's a little bit lighter and it's meant to be a little bit easier to swing now
Of course, when you go to a lighter racket that kind of makes it a little bit less stable to handle those hard shots
So it's actually a different string pattern between the rackets as well
The speed Pro uses an 1820 string pattern while the speed MP
Uses a 16 by 19 string pattern and so the 1820s give you a little bit more control a little bit less power
While the sixteen by nineteen really offers a lot of spin a lot of power
But is usually a little bit more lively when you hit the ball a little bit less control that kind of gives you a contest
Of what I was working with before and what I'm used to hitting with going into this play test
So now going into what that racket actually felt like to hit with so since that racket was a little bit lighter
It's the speed MP not to speed throw
I was a little bit hesitant as to how it would handle the hard shots coming at me and really faster coming at me
But I was really pleasantly surprised
So the graphine 360 technology really came through that added stability that they were talking about in the video and in their website
Which I will link down below that really did make the racket a lot more stable
And I found that even when I was getting a lot of fast serves coming at me the racket was staying stable through the swing
And I wasn't able put in some nice returns with that racket, even though the weight was a little bit lower
So for those people that are looking for a little bit of a lighter racket
But still want to play at a high level and be able to handle some faster tennis balls
This is actually a really good option to maybe try the new speed MP and see how that feels because I know I actually had
A little bit of arm issues. I had some tendinitis in my arm
Earlier this year using a lighter racquet would help me prevent some further injuries to my arm
But so it's something that I'm considering as well besides is being very stable through the swings
I found that the racket offered a ton of extra power
so with the head racket
I've actually reviewed the
Speed touch MP in my previous videos and one of the complaints I had was I was just wasn't getting enough power with the racket
There wasn't enough pop off the off the string bed
And I felt like I was really trying to muscle it a lot more
Because there just wasn't enough speed coming off of the racket with this new version. I found that it offered a lot more power
What they actually did was they actually changed up the script the string pattern a little bit
They made the mains a little bit closer together while the crosses are a little bit wider apart
So that actually offers you more power through the ball more pop
I think that that really fixed the issue that they had with the touch MP being a little bit underpowered
This one really offers a great pop off of the strings and I really liked it off the serve as well
That speed really came through off of the serve as well as the stability
I found that I was hitting some very crisp serves and I was hitting the spots that I wanted to hit with the racket
Without much time to transition between one racket to another and that's something I really like
I like being able to pick up a racket and just go out there and have a good time with it without trying to adjust
To the racket all in all I think that the graphine 360 is definitely worth checking out if you weren't happy with the touchline
Try not to let that bother you this feels completely different from the previous
Line of the head racket and I would definitely recommend that you guys check this racket out when it comes out
I'm looking forward to actually trying out that speed Pro when it comes out because I think it might be something else which - anyways
Guys, I hope that you enjoyed this video
I hope that you maybe learn something new about these graphing 360 racquets are coming out
