I Tried Running On Ice In Heels Like Elsa - Duration: 8:56.
(clicking)
- Don't fall! Don't die!
Oh my god! (screaming)
Have you ever seen Frozen?
- Mm-hmm.
- Well, I'm still gonna recap it anyway.
Sorry.
Elsa is having this beautiful coronation.
Her sister is all like, oh my god, I met a really hot man!
And he's all like, let's get married!
I've known you for a day!
And Elsa's like, what the hell, I'm leaving.
And she's like ice shooting out of her hand.
The fountain: ice!
And all the people in the town are like, you're a monster!
And then she's like, ya know what?
I can't (bleep) take this anymore
because someone just called me a monster
and that is (bleep) rude.
The only way out is a lake.
She takes one little step
and bam!
The lake turns to ice!
She full speed runs across a lake in her little loafies--
That's loafers for those not in the know.
Every step she takes, it's like
ice, ice, ice, ice, ice, ice, ice
and she just runs with her cape flowing in the wind.
And then Anna takes one step and she's like-- (grunts)
She can't even take one (bleep) step on the ice.
- Pathetic. - Pathetic.
Later in the movie she takes it to
the next level and puts on little heels.
So what we need to test today is,
whether or not you can run on ice in loafers and heels.
- I feel like I wanna do this.
I'm a really big Frozen fan.
- You wanna run on ice?
- I do.
- Why?
- I mean, I just wanna be Elsa.
- Yeah, I mean, she's cool.
Oh my god, it is so cold in here!
- What?
- It's snowing.
- [Selorm] I guess...
- So, sir, who are you?
- My name is Nick Uhas and I'm a science YouTuber.
- Ooh professional. - Aah.
- So how is ice formed exactly?
- You need what is known as a nucleation site.
Like, a piece of dust or a hair, or whatever,
or somebody touches the water,
ice crystals will actually begin to form
around that nucleation site and
it'll proliferate outwards from that area.
- So, when Elsa puts her foot on the water
and then it turns to ice, you're saying that's real?
That could happen?
- It could happen, but under some crazy conditions!
- We're ready for the crazy conditions.
- Okay, she shoots magic out of her hand.
So let's just say, for example, in this universe,
her feet can get to the temperature of absolute zero.
- So her foot is a frozen piece of ice?
- So, kind...
- [Chrissy] She has a dead foot?
- [Selorm] Like freeze dried foot?
- She has a freeze dried foot?
- More like, her foot, by stepping onto the water
is actually sucking up the energy
and force freezing the water where her foot is,
thus creating the nucleation site.
Thus proliferating the ice.
It's possible. (laughs)
- Basically, to sum it up, she could probably do it.
- I mean yeah, basically, that's like...
Yeah, that's...
That's pretty much what it is, yeah.
- I'm a visual person and I need to like,
see some (bleep) evidence that what you're saying is real.
So... - Well, you're in luck.
Because we have an experiment
that actually shows instant ice.
- Whoa. - Ooh, I like experiments.
- And anybody can do this at home.
You get purified or distilled water.
Put it in your freezer for around
two hours and 30 minutes or so.
Strike it with your hand,
and then that creates the nucleation site
and proliferates the ice right through the bottle.
You can actually see the ice being formed instantly.
- Whoa.
- Oh! (screams)
Oh my god, look!
- Whoa! - What?
- [Selorm] You're Elsa!
- Right?
That's just exactly what it looks like.
- Try that one too before it goes.
(thud)
- [Chrissy] Ow.
- [Nick] There it goes! (Selorm screaming)
It's going all the way down!
You're magic! - I'm magic!
- I've eaten (bleep) so many times on ice.
Why is it so slippery?
- [Nick] Ice is liquid on the outisde.
- Mm-hmm. - So the coefficient friction
is less, so it's slippery on that surface.
It is exchanging back and forth
between the solid phase and liquid phase.
- Oh, the ice is confused.
- [Nick] It is!
- It can't decide what it is. - Yeah.
- Why there is a thin layer of water
on the outside of ice is still unknown.
- We don't know about water yet?
What year is this?
- You're made of it. - Ew.
So Elsa's a magic (bleep), okay?
We're just basic (bleep) people.
So if there is a solid sheet of ice,
how can you run on that ice without falling?
- To not ever run and then stop.
So if you are to continue to run and like, galavant.
- [Chrissy] You do a full running example for us please?
- Yes, this antelope thing.
- I would run something like this.
- Aaw! - Aaw!
That's sweet!
- [Selorm] That's adorable.
- [Chrissy] Do it again!
Look at that ice run!
- Look at that!
- That's so cute!
- What are some dangers that I should take into account?
- The most dangerous part will be
slipping and hitting your head.
Especially because, like,
when you do the whiplash thing back,
the speed and velocity that
your head actually hits the ground
is a lot faster than you even falling.
Don't want that, so I would wear a helmet.
You could sprain your wrist.
You could maybe take some skin off.
Like, you, yeah. - Oh!
- I like my skin. I'm scared.
Okay, here we are at the ice rink.
- Woo!
- It's cold.
There is a Zam-boo-ney.
- It's a Zamboni. (laughs) - Zamboni.
- Hah, Zam-boo-ney.
Yes!
Right now the ice is really cut up
as they say in the ice biz.
- When Elsa did this, she was walking on fresh ice
because she made it with her feet.
That's why we've got the Zamboni
making things really slippery and really dangerous.
- He's getting really close. (chuckles)
- I'm really nervous.
This is really dangerous.
Don't try this at home.
- Luckily, we have a ice skater somewhere around here.
Okay? Oh!
- Oh my goodness! - There she is!
- Hi! - Hey!
- So Selorm, if you can't run on ice,
we're gonna take it to the next (bleep) level
and have Amber try it.
- Toe pick on three!
- Toe pick? - Yeah.
- [All] One, two, three, toe pick!
- What's a toe pick?
(clicking)
- Oh my god, you look so beautiful.
Selorm, are you ready?
- I, yeah, I think I'm ready.
- I'm freezing so can you do this quickly?
- I'm in a dress so I'm definitely freezing.
(laughs)
- Three, two, one, sprint!
- Okay! (drowned out by music) - Sprint!
Run faster!
That is a slight jog! (Selorm screaming)
That is-- (laughing)
You didn't--
- Was that sprinting?
- No!
You can clearly speed walk on ice but Elsa (bleep) runs!
- Okay, run like I run from my problems.
- [Chrissy] You ready?
- I'm ready! - You can do this!
Three, two, one, run!
Run!
Get rid of those problems!
Run from your problems!
You're doing it! Yes!
(laughing)
- [Selorm] No...
- I'm so sorry I'm laughing.
Are you okay?
- I guess.
- [Chrissy] I'm so sorry!
This is gonna take so long for me to get there.
Great job! - Ow...
- Are you ready to do it in heels now?
- (bleep) no!
- Well you have to.
Three, two...
One, run baby run!
Yes, yes, you're doing it! (Selorm screaming)
You're doing... (laughing and cheering)
You can stop!
You can stop!
You did it! (Selorm whimpers)
- You're gonna pick me--
Okay...
- We have a little extra challenge for you,
since you killed it.
We're gonna have you race Amber in high heels!
- Okay... (laughing)
- Let's do it!
- [Selorm] She's a figure skater, this doesn't count!
- [Amber] I know, but this is new.
- [Chrissy] Three, two, one, run!
Go! Go, come on!
You can do this!
Oh my god, Selorm is winning!
What the--
Selorm won!
You did it!
- Yay!
- Yay.
- No one died!
Take it off man.
Yeah!
- That's way too small for me.
Well that was fun.
Elsa's a bad (bleep).
- Elsa is a bad (bleep). - Yay!
- You guys are bad (bleep). - Yay!
- Oh my god! - Yay!
- How does it feel to be a star?
- Uh, you know, it feels good.
- Sorry I ruined it! (laughs)
- The difference between me and Elsa,
is that Elsa looked so graceful when she was running.
I didn't look graceful.
I looked like a deer. - Yes you did.
You can run real fast, not fall, but like,
we're not gonna guarantee that you won't fall
at the end to try to stop yourself, which is like--
- [Selorm] What I did, I fell.
- [Chrissy] Yeah, she fell a little.
- I fell.
- And I laughed a little bit.
- Yeah, everybody laughed, I heard it.
- So it's basically, not bogus.
- Yeah, we did it.
Well, I did it. (both laugh)
- Meow meow meow, meow meow meow, (Chrissy mouthing along)
meow meow meow, meow meow meow meow.
(both laugh)
- [Woman] Alright, cool.
- I think that's fine, yeah.
(upbeat orchestral music)

How To Attract New Customers - Duration: 14:04.
So, you're a small business owner and you want ways to attract customers to you.
We're definitely going to talk about that. Absolutely cool, secret, innovative ways
that this man will share with you.
How to attract new customers to or whatever your business may be? Yeah, my
experience in business is just figuring it out on my own. I did not get a degree
in business or go to business school or anything like... oh, wait a minute stop. We
can't do this. He doesn't have a degree in business. But I've gotten customers.
But I had to figure it out because traditional marketing or advertising was
too expensive and so I kind of figured out my own guerrilla marketing or I would
I would find something that would work and I would just refine it to keep
getting that same result. And so I'm just going to share some things from
my perspective. This will probably be a different video on on attracting
customers or marketing than they need typically see out there. So hopefully,
this is a unique perspective. Just if i may say, to preface that, it's kind of a value-add
because it's one thing to just pick your brain about how to YouTube and how to be
proficient and make money at it. It's another thing to be able to add a little
bit of business education especially from someone who learned it himself on
the street, so they speak rather than behind a desk. So, one of the things
that I that I did learn and that I want to share, you've got all that the
features of your product or service that you offer but what's more important to
know and to talk to people about and to bring up is actually the benefits. So, if
I've got a widget, you know I can talk about the dimensions or the actual
pixels or or the apps or whatnot but if I can talk about the benefit of how it
saves time or it brings me fulfillment or you know, there's
so many different benefits and that's that's what connects with people
emotionally. Agreed. So, just learn to talk about your products or services in terms
of benefits. Even if people say, "What do you do?" You don't say, "Oh, well, I make
iPhones, I'm the guy that puts on the screen and I make the glass this thick
and I add the lens and it's like, okay. Well, what what do you do? "Oh, I
create stories, I help" you know, if you're like you're a movie maker. What's the
experience that you bring. Always describe the benefits. That's
what always sells anyway, are the benefits. What do people need and why do they need
them? Let me give you even a specific example. So, if people ask me, "Nate, what do you do?"
I'm not going to talk about, "Well, I set up my camera on my tripod and I hit
record on, I give people kind of an... they give me an outline and I guide them
through that and then I sent it to my editing team. I could talk on and on
about that. And that would be nerdy and maybe that'd be fun for me to talk
about if people are interested in that. But that's not going to
sell anything. So, I talked about how I build a YouTube following or I help
influencers reach millions of people through their YouTube videos or I help
people monetize a small YouTube channel and they'll say, "What is
monetizing?" I'll say, "Well, yeah, we've got a small YouTube channel but it's
generating seven figures." They're like, yeah, so you know, I make people
money or something like that. There you go. That's what you do, is you help people
make money, you help them grow their influence. So, when
I'm out and about networking or when I'm training at Advent or something like
that, I'm always focusing on the benefits just
in conversation. I'm not worried about handing out business cards because how
many people are going to call you because you had of them a business card? But
when you can engage with them emotionally or when I'm training on a
specific topic, I've drop seeds like I mentioned, "Well, yeah, at my... I used
to have a retreat that I did at a cabin it was called, "Influence or boot camp" and
so I would say, "Well, yeah, this actually happened one time. A client asked me this
that my influence our boot camp that I put on it just a cabin or treatment and
this is what I shared with them, you know, So, I'm just dropping a little seed here,
there. And that's really... That's letting people know what I do and I'm
showing that I'm...I show the benefits of what I do and that, that really attracts
people to me. And I... And another thing that I found is if I keep my answers short,
kind of leaving things still open, it'll make people intrigued and want to ask
more like, "Oh, what? what's your YouTube producer, what is that?" And I'll still do that,
"Oh, yeah, well, I do this and this" and they're like, "Well, I want to know more", you know. So,
it's better than just know, vomiting it all.
Just let him nibble and they want more. And I made that the opposite mistake
plenty of times too. So, I mean what happens when they say, "What do you do?" And
I'm, "Oh, I do this and this and I worked, Oh, have you heard of this guy? Yeah, I'm
working with him." And they're like, "Okay, that's really cool." Just drinking from the
fire hose, thank you so much. In general, what do you do? Okay, can we get into some specifics? I think
that is what everyone is waiting. I actually want to share a LinkedIn
marketing strategy. LinkedIn is is great for B2B, you know that is?
Business-to-business. Yeah. I know some things. So, LinkedIn is great
when your target a customer, target client is another business owner.
That's the place where people kind of go to promote their business and what
they're doing and you can find your target audience really easy. Well, you can
actually prospect and get new customers on LinkedIn pretty easy if you follow my
advice that I'm going to show right here. Because most people do the opposite and
the opposite is they try and sell right off the bat on LinkedIn and it's
just spam, you know, it's just like going up to somebody, "Hey, here's my business
card if you, you know, you want to buy this? And that's what people
usually do on LinkedIn. I see it all the time and I don't accept their friend
requests or whatnot. But let me tell you what to do and I'll just make it real
simple. If you were a potential customer of mine and I found
your profile on LinkedIn. I would send you a connection request. But I would not
mention what I do. I would find something specific about you to compliment you on.
And I would say, "I really like what you talked about in such-and-such video or
Hey, I saw you speak at such-and-such or I saw you in this movie, I really liked how
you play this part of a role in these characters or I saw you at Health Center
theater or I saw something on your profile or on your website and I really
appreciate that about you. Keep up the good work. You're doing good stuff." I
actually did the math and I found that instead of "Let me tell you the whole
story" Oh you're leaving things out. I did something very specific.
I sent out a hundred messages like this. The first batch of 100
messages I said, "Hey, this is the service that I
offer." And tried to try to get them to engage with me. Okay.
I have one person out of the hundreds, so, 1% that replied to me, they weren't
interested but they did... Only one person replied. So, then I thought, "Okay, let me do
another batch of a hundred and I'm not going to try and push my services. I'm going to
suggest a helpful video." Okay, I have one person replied. I don't know if they watch
the video but at least one person replied to my message. Right. Okay, here's
the huge one. On test number 3, I complimented them. Now, these are 100
different... every time. So, a third batch of a hundred new people, different people.
Okay. I sent them a compliment. I had 65%. 65 people responded to
my message of compliment and so that, that said something. So, I build out a
whole system where my staff was doing
it and I would pick a certain group of people that had similar characteristics
and I would have my assistant compliment them all in in a similar way, it was kind
of template it, she would mix it up with mixed few different versions. But she
would just start complimenting people. We would we sent out 125 compliments every
single day and enough people just from that, without me doing any follow up, just
from that, people would go and they view my... They read my whole profile on
LinkedIn. They go to my website, they'd watch my YouTube videos and then they'd
reply to me,you know 65% of them, in their reply would say, "Wow, looks like
you're doing good things, too. I watched such in such a video. Do you offer this
service or I went to your website." When I went to school, my original plan
was to become a dentist and clear down on my LinkedIn profile. It mentioned that,
that I at one time, wanted to be a dentist. But you had to read clear down.
Yeah. And somebody replied and said, "I thought it was so funny that you're
originally gonna be a dentist and such-and-such." And I'm like, "This is crazy.
All I did was compliment them and it got them to read my whole LinkedIn profile
which is a sales page, you know? This is what I do, this is what I offer, here's
how you can connect with me. So, that... LinkedIn is really powerful for that. And
so, they had to send those one of the time.
I mean... Yeah. That's why I hired my assistant. That's a lot of work. I had never thought
of that before. what a great idea. That is cool. Okay, I'm going to switch gears.
We'll go into more detail and LinkedIn in another video. So, stay tuned for that. I
want to talk to you about kind of a ninja video tactic. Ninja? Ninja. Just
because it's cool and it really works and no one no one really does this. If
there is somebody that you really want to get their attention. You'd really love
to have them as a customer. Just one person. Instead of sending them a message
of even of compliment what could you do more to really get their attention? Well,
you could make a custom video for them. So, I'll call give you an example. There's
a lady named Jasmine Starr, she's a social media guru, her background is
photography and I really wanted to get her attention. And Jasmine Starr, it's a kind
of a unique name and I thought, "Okay, there's Jasmine Rice, there's like..." I bet
I could go over to Harmons, a grocery store here and find products that have
the name Jasmine or star in it. For sure, Starkist. Yeah. Starbur...or starburst?Starburst.
There was a star fruit. That I found jasmine tea. There's actually a
brand of jasmine rice, that had that was something star. And so it's how
Jasmine Starr right on the same package. I made this video and I started it out. I...
We happen to be at the tulip festival and I was with my family and I was just
walking on with my cameras like, "I've got this brilliant idea, but who do I share
it with?" And long story short, I go to Harmons and I show all these things
that say Jasmine Star like, "I know who I need to share this idea with." And I put
this video and I sent it to her and do you think I got a response? I hope so. I
would have made this video about it. She definitely responded to me, right away.
She is someone you didn't previously know. Yeah. She's very well-known, she's
very successful. But you didn't know her. Yeah, we'd never met.
Yeah. Oh, okay, okay. But I it's somebody that I wanted to get her attention and I
made a custom video. So, and it got to her. Oh yeah and it got the response exact
response that I wanted. So, I actually found a way to automate this. This is so
cool. So, this was back when I had a web design company. We're going a little
bit longer I plan to in this video but you're going to like this story.
This was brilliant. So, I sold website design and one of the best ways
of getting someone's attention was to actually make a video, so I do a screen
capture video of their website and say, "hey". So, they'd be watching they click
this video and see their own website video they're like, "oh, this is for me." So,
I would say, "hey, you know I noticed you've got this type of a logo
I'd recommend switching it to this and making a custom video." But here's the
here's the exciting part. I actually automated it. So I went in and I made I
made a video with like kind of choose-your-own-adventure.
Right. And if they had a good logo, I would say, "oh, you actually have a really
good logo. But then I'd record another version that say, "I noticed you've got
your name there but it should have a logo designed or you should have a logo
in a different spot" So, I'd have a few different logo options and then I'll
talk about the colors, a few different options. So and then what I would do is
I'd have one of my assistants go through and say, "okay, we're going to use clip number
1, we're going to use clip number 5 and 6. We're going to use clip number 9 and
then I'd have a video guy come in and create custom videos that they would
send them to people on LinkedIn that responded to my custom messages. So another
complimentary. so I would compliment them, they would respond and then they
would get a custom video from me and it was all automated by my team. And
everyone was like, "I can't believe how helpful that video was. That
was really great and they were automated videos. So I'm sharing like my
secrets because it's like I found a way to get people to respond to me on
LinkedIn and then I figured out a way that they would respond I could get
their attention even if it was a superstar, I could get their attention
and then I just figured out a way, okay, how can i scale it up, how can I automate it.
So... So, this is I mean when you say "ninja or guerilla tactics" whatever. I
mean, you're yeah you're coming up with just inventive ways of using features
that are already in place on free websites. I mean you don't even have to
get LinkedIn pro or whatever to probably do that. Absolutely, that's correct. Because these are
unsolicited messages anyway and those are free. I mean, you know what I'm saying,
it's not... There's plenty of ways that you
could do paid advertising and stuff like that and that can work but these
are all ways that just can do... Subverting the system a little bit. Being real
strategic, being smart. We'll talk about in another video. We're going to
talk about Craigslist. And obviously, we talked a lot about YouTube. YouTube is
the number one way to attract new customers and so stay tuned for that,
for those episodes. But hopefully this this video is helpful. So you learned
something in this video? I just... I learned something every time. I think it is helpful
for? It would have to be. If this wasn't helpful to you, you just stop watching
these. Don't subscribe. Just leave right now. But if you did find value then we're glad.

Spouse Bullying Me About Money - Duration: 6:18.
So, when it comes to money, what do you do if you don't have a supportive spouse? So,
I wanted to start by talking about why financial bullying occurs in
relationships? My experiences, I've had a chance to work with thousands of people
is that, normally when you get in a relationship, you have one individual
that is the risk taker and you have the other person that is the conservative
non-risk taker. One person wants to dream and has ambitions and then the other
person is looking for stability and they're looking for steady, right? And so,
you put those two energies together and that can get to this conversation today
where it's like, "Dude, what do you do if your spouse is like in your face, in your
grill, messing with you, bullying?" And it's just like the bottom line is there's
tension there's fighting and you're not getting eye-to-eye. Well, first of all,
understand that usually the working spouse and you might both be working but
usually there's one working spouse that doesn't like what they do. It's not
always true but they generally don't like what they do and yet they hate that
they're sacrificing their prime time every week 40, 50, 60 hours to something
they don't believe in or something they don't want to do all in the name of the
paycheck so they can help the family out. On the other hand, why are they doing it?
Because they're in a relationship with someone that says, "I want stability." What
it does is it creates a perfect breeding grounds for the working spouse to want
to become the entrepreneur that says, "There's got to be a better way. I got to
believe that if I'm in business for myself or am I doing this MLM and
networking thingy or if I start my own business that it's got to help me
financially get ahead and that way, I don't have to be trapped into something
they don't like or you don't have to work as hard as I am." But guess what that
does for the more conservative spouse? It escalates things and it makes it worse.
The bottom line is it can be really hard for sometimes people to be married to an
entrepreneur because there's risk, there's failure and things do not always
work out and hence, we get into a situation where you might have a spouse
that is not supporting you. They're unhappy about the financial situation. So,
what I want to do is I want to pause and I just want to take a moment in this
video to acknowledge each of you. I want to first start by talking to
the aggressive entrepreneur and then I'm going to talk to the conservative spouse.
First of all to you, aggressive entrepreneur. You got to
understand that, I get it. It's hard being in the situation and you want out and
you weren't out yesterday, you want out fast. But if you can't make a transition
responsibly, you're not going to get the support of your spouse. And what I mean
by a responsible transition is, don't just quit your job to run off with the
circus and do some business, right? Make a responsible transition. For me what that
meant is that when I was working really hard, I worked even harder and what I was
doing is I was maintaining my business and my work employment my W2 and I did
both at the same time. That wasn't easy for me.
And in fact, I had to do that for a while. I had to do it for a couple of years. But
it was a price that I paid that opened up the doors of possibility where I
could ditch my job and I could be a full-time entrepreneur. So, there's a
price to pay. On the other hand, let me talk to the more conservative one here.
Listen, if you're financially conservative than your spouse is. You've got
mistrust and they've lost money and business didn't work out. Dude, that's
called the "Learning curve of trying to figure it out." And you know what? They are
taking risks and it's hard for them to do that because they want to be happy
just like you want to be stable. But I just want to tell you something. You need
to understand that there's a cost for your stability. If your spouse lives
relatively check to check, doesn't get ahead very much. It's all in the name of
providing this stable situation for you, listen, advance 10 years, 20 years
30 years. Eventually they're not going to be able to work the way they
are right now. So your stability, it's guaranteed to fail you. When you need it
most, when you're older, you're not going to have it. You have to find a way to
bend without breaking. You got to find a way to support your spouse. Now let me
talk to the two of you. You guys, get together knuckleheads. Starts to seeing
other's perspective and start talking have better open communication. Take
risks, learn how to do it responsibly. Ultimately take responsible risks.
Without these kind of risks, you ain't going nowhere and I'm talking to both of
you. You're going to sacrifice tomorrow for
today, you're going to sacrifice today for tomorrow and bottom line is that
sacrifice is unnecessary if we can get you two on the same page saying, "Let's
communicate, let's be responsible let's communicate,
let's take some risk." Do it the right way. Anyone that wants to get ahead without
taking risk? Ah! Not going to happen. You and... You're never going to get where you want to
go. So, get on the same page, communicate with each other. If there's been bullying
going around or there's the stories of, "But we lost money and this thing didn't
work out and now I don't trust them." You carry that into your bright future, your
future is already lost. You can't afford the past to hamper the way to financial
success. Which means you've got to get off each other's backs.
You need a reset. And that's the last piece of advice and I want to give the
two of you right now is you got to slow it down and you got to create a space to
forgive each other, acknowledge each other's mistakes and
then get to a way when you can come together and work together as a team.
Whether it's working or supporting that together you can get where you want to
go, there's no guarantee that that gameplan will win but that is the game
plan you need to have if you want to have a shot at winning. Take care of each
other. Hey, thank you so much for watching this video.
Listen, I got to tell you I've given that advice so many times that I'm glad today
we finally got to make a video. Because I'm hoping that one of you is out there
watching and saying, "See, someone finally gets it." And you know what? I do get it. So,
take the practical advice that's here and trust me it's worth it to bring your
spouse along, whichever spouse you are of the two. Work
together as a team. I know you can figure it out. And hey, if you want to have an
easier time doing it, then get a mentor and get a track record to do things that
make sense. Which means this, subscribe, join my
channel. Learn some of what that means and also check out the link in the
description below. Check out my website where you can see some of the
opportunities that I've been vetting, many of them, for years and they have
aggressive returns without aggressive risk.

GRWM FOR CHURCH + FAVORITE CHRISTIAN YOUTUBERS! - Duration: 14:25.
good morning you guys welcome back to my channel today I'm super excited because
I'm gonna be doing a church get ready with me and not any Church get ready
with me I'm gonna be collabing with my friend Alaina Nicole she is super
sweet here's a little clip of her right here hi there and welcome it to my
channel my name is Alaina so now we're gonna head and get dressed okay so as
far as what I bring along with me she's also a Christian youtuber you guys
should go check her out I love her videos she actually just made a video
before the church get ready with me about her experience with Lyme disease
and how it's changed her life she has awesome videos so you guys should
definitely go check her out if you like my videos you'll definitely like her
videos so go subscribe to her and with that being said let's get on into the
church get ready with me all right you guys so this is what I normally look
like on a Sunday morning when I wake up I have a big bun in my hair some dark
circles and some pale skin so let's get ready for Jesus today shall we so
sometimes I'll wash my face in the morning sometimes I just wake up and
dive straight on into the make up head first so let's get on into it so one of
the first things I do is I always apply my Vaseline lip therapy this is so lame
but honestly it feels so good on your lips and you definitely should do it the
only thing I hate is you have to dip your finger in the little thing and I
don't really like that so I put that on my lips just to get my lips prepared for
the lip gloss lipstick whatever I decide to put on for the day it just makes it
super juicy and then if I feel like I need a little bit of a refresher
I always spray this Mario Badescu this stuff is like five bucks that old test
you guys could should totally go check it out this is what it looks like and it
smells so good and it wakes me up and it makes me feel super refreshed it's like
a spa spa day with Jesus alright so for church I usually do a more natural look
I normally don't ever go like superglue except like if I'm going to dinner like
on a date night with Kyle or something and I want to like go a little bit more
glam but I'm normally just kind of a natural girl if you call this natural I
don't know some people have different opinions on natural but this is my take
on it so let me fix this fun because it's just gonna get all up in our makeup
and it is not gonna be cute most the time I wash my hair on Friday and then I
leave my hair just all weekend this is why it looks like this and then I try to
figure it out Sunday morning on what I should do with it because it's a little
bit greasy and gross but with it all right that's better I'm gonna go in with
my NARS Patagonia what is this called NARS padagonia natural radiant long wear
foundation pump a little bit on my brush and I do about three pumps and we see
how far that takes us somedays I need more pumps than others I kind of just
started on my face my forehead is looking a little bit shiny this morning
first off where you guys live second if you guys go to church what church do you
guys go to in your area I'd love to know because sometimes it's me my husband
travel and we like to try out new churches so you guys should definitely
let us know and maybe we'll come try out your church so Alaina is so cute you guys
should definitely go check her out she has like light really pretty blonde hair
and she has fair skin she's just naturally pretty so you guys should go
check her out some other Christian youtubers that I absolutely adore it is
Jaclyn Brooke she's actually my sister you guys might know her and sorry
I call her my sister she's my sister-in-law but she's basically like
my real sister so I like to call her my sister Jacqueline Brooke I'll have all
of these channels link down below she's awesome she is my sister-in-law and she
makes videos on beauty fashion and she's also a believer so she makes a lot of
Christian related videos too and she is so awesome
for concealer I'm using the flawless fusion
I'm like out of breath from running up the stairs the flawless fusion ultra
long wear concealer in shade to see I love this stuff super light and natural
and then I also love Kristin John's she is a really stinkin cute youtuber and
she blogs with her husband and then she also makes her own like beauty fashion
videos she's very thrifty she likes going to like Goodwill shops and she
always finds the cutest stuff for pretty cheap so I really like watching her
videos and then just Jess Conte I don't really know how to say in her last name
um she's a Christian youtuber I really haven't watched a ton of her videos yeah
but she's Australian and she seems super-sweet her and her husband make
vlogs as well another girl named Milena ciciotti she's kind of like newer to YouTube but
she has so many subscribers I think she got a ton of her subscribers from her
video called the untold truth about waiting to have sex until marriage or
something I don't really know the title but it was a really really good video so
you guys should go check that video out so now I'm gonna go in with my NYX micro
brow pencil brush out my brows a little bit I was using the Anastacio brow
pencil but then I'm like why am i spending this much on for our pencils
like seriously this one works just as good and it is like a quarter of the
price it's amazing and I'm in the shade taupe I go to Ulta to get my eyebrows
waxed I actually I actually really like the old set girls they are really really
good at brows so a little bit more about my church I go to a non-denominational
Church in my area and mean Kyle really really love it we've been having trouble
though finding people like our own age that we can just call up and be like hey
let's go hang out we're new to the Nashville area kind of so we really
wanted to connects with people and like fine
people our age that we can just call up and go have fun and go like hiking
together or canoeing together or whatever so we're in a small group and
we love our small group they just have kids they're a little bit older than us
so it's not like we can just like call them up and be like hey let's go out so
we love our pastor we love our church but we're trying to get plugged in to
find people a little bit more our age I'm just powdering my face right now
with the golden medium pur cosmetics powder I've used a lot of this but it
just really helps keep the oils away so when you guys get ready for church do
you give yourself a lot of time in the morning or you kind of like me where
you're like okay got a rush and go it depends some days when I wake up
early I'm like I have enough time or sometimes I just prolong getting ready
so I make myself fresh that's usually how it works now I'm gonna be using my
bye bye pours bronzer how many times have I talked about this a ton it's in
the shade Beach and I love it hey there so my camera shut off while I was
applying my it cosmetics bye bye chorus bronzer and I just went ahead and
finished doing it because I couldn't help myself I love it so much it's so
nice so now I'm gonna go in with my Sephora blush palette 73 B and today I
think I'm feeling a little bit but Rawnsley so we're gonna go in with this
orange e kind of blush tap off the excess and then go in with this kind of
pinky matte blush and just hit on the top of our cheekbones just add a little
bit of a flush what I love about mixing them is you don't have to wear a
highlighter it's just already kind of mixed into the blush and I love it kind
of gives that bronzy glow if you haven't noticed I love being feeling looking
bronze all the time except I'm kind of lazy when it comes to putting on
self-tanner so I'm kind of pale but I like my face being bronzed I don't
actually do a lot of eyeshadow I normally just go in with my bronzer into
the crease a little bit just take like a fluffy brush and just go into the crease
just to warm up the eyelid to give it a little bit more depth instead of just
being like white and blank then if I want to get a little crazy I go back in
with the same blush woohoo and I just put that on my lid to add a little bit
of shine
and it just gives kind of a nice everyday natural smokey effect and then
if I get any fallout I kind of just blend it out underneath my lash line so
if you guys want me to make more Christian related videos I would love to
do that leave some video ideas in the comments below and I won't definitely do
that so now I'm just gonna curl my lashes so I can make like a testimony
video we can do like a Q&A if you guys leave some questions below for me once I
curl my lashes I go in with the L'Oreal voluminous mascara I gotta say I'm not
loving this stuff I need to start using waterproof because it always leaks
underneath my eyes do you guys have that problem I think when I smile and I
squint too much like it just runs and I look in the mirror and I'm like I've
been walking around like that all day
should I do the bottom lashes do I want to risk it I don't know all right I'm
gonna do it just because I want my eyes to look a little bit more alive if I
look like a skunk by the end of the day it's all good at least Jesus loves me
right and I'm always like Kyle can you be my like right-hand man and like let
your girl know when the mascara is down your face but uh you know sometimes he
does but then other days I'm like how did you not notice that you know how'd
you miss that one the last step I do is I always apply a little bit of gloss or
a little bit of lipstick today I'm gonna go in with the bare minerals swag matte
lip I don't know what you'd call this liquid but I think
I think I need to get a little bit more of this lipstick kind of running out but
I just think this is like the perfect pinky nude color it's like your lips but
better so that's pretty much all I do with the face now should we move on to
this glorious mess I think so I know that I'm definitely in need of some dry
shampoo I think my favorite one is the batiste
oh that means I'm supposed to post a photo one second if you guys are looking
for a lot of volume just don't wash your hair for three days and then spray a lot
of dry shampoo in it and you can look like this oh you guys are missing the
top of it how great does this look so if I just brush it down maybe scrunch it up
a little bit and put a headband in I think we can call it good well maybe
like do a little something like this that might be pretty alright so maybe
we'll do that so where's the bobby pins you know when you got your hair like the
perfect way and then you can't find the bobby pins it's like okay so how
convenient am I like trying to be like a princess
right now or what are people gonna be like okay Princess Aurora okay just
checking I don't look that good ooh let me go pick out my outfit all right
how serious are you guys how dumb does this hairstyle look don't make fun of me
all right so I decided to wear this beautiful burnt orange dress it's from a
brand called Emmer and O in their own Instagram if you guys follow my
Instagram right here you guys can go check out my picture that I posted
within if you use my code favorite 15 you can get 15% off anything you want to
buy on their website I love I love their brand so much so I decided to wear this
dress today it has pockets and it's flowy and it is so darn comfortable and
perfect for summer if you want to cover up your shoulder
you can wear like a jean jacket or just a little cardigan or something like that
it's really really hot here in Tennessee so I think I'm just gonna free-flow it
today but I paired it with this like kind of bohemian inspired bracelet that
I think is super cute I think I got this at Francesca's but it was a long time
ago and I'm pretty sure I got this necklace from forever 21 I absolutely
love it I think this is so pretty again kind of tribal bohemian I love that look
so so much I think I'm just gonna pair it with these nude sandals that I got
from Francesca's as well so that is the end of this video thank you guys so much
for watching don't forget to go subscribe to Alaina Nicole I'll put her
link right here and also in the description box below so you guys can go
check her out thanks so much for watching and I'll see
you next time
