Waching daily Jun 25 2018

Hi there, it's David with Oberlo, and it's question time.

This week, we're discussing a question that every dropshipper has asked at some point:

"What's the best sales channel to market my dropshipping store?"

First things first, "What is a sales channel?"

Well, a sales channel is any place where you can market and sell your products.

This can include:

Your ecommerce website, Physical stores,

General marketplaces like Amazon, Bidding sites like eBay,

Or social media platforms, like Facebook.

Now, many sales channels are not a good fit for every business.

So, how do you work out which is best for you?

In this video, we're going to look at what you need to take into account when choosing

a sales channel.

We'll also look at potential pros and cons of some of the major sales channels available

for dropshippers.

Here's what you need to consider when choosing a sales channel:

First, who are your target customers?

Do you sell to a wide demographic?

Or, are you targeting a specific niche?

For example, if you sell workout equipment, Instagram would be a good sales channel to

test out because fitness is a popular niche on the platform, and the platform is dominated

by younger people who are more likely to be active.

But, if you sell mobility products for older people, perhaps a trusted general marketplace

like Amazon would be better.

Bottom-line?

Knowing exactly who you're targeting is extremely important when choosing a sales

channel.

Secondly, would someone buy your product on impulse?

Or, are they likely to do some research first?

For example, think about when you go to the store to buy groceries.

The vegetables that are on your shopping list are planned purchases.

But, that little tub of chocolate ice cream that you pick up on your way to the checkout

-- that's an impulsive purchase.

Now, Facebook is a great channel to promote impulse buys.

Why?

Because, people can see your Facebook ad in their feed, click and buy your product within

30 seconds.

But, if you sell more expensive products, customers might want to do some research before

buying.

And, in this instance, having your own ecommerce website that people find while they're doing

research might be a better option.

And lastly, you need to consider the fees that some sales channels charge.

For example, eBay charges fees to list your products, and takes a percentage of your sales.

So, you need a margin large enough to pay these commision fees, and still make a profit.

Okay, now you need to evaluate the pros and cons of each sales channel itself.

Let's take a quick look at some of the major sales channels available for dropshippers

today.

First up?

Amazon, and eBay.

The main benefit of these large, general marketplaces is the millions of shoppers visiting them

every day.

This makes marketing easier.

But, there are some major drawbacks.

Firstly, you have to pay to access this large network of buyers through commission fees.

Also, you're limited in how much you can customize your product pages.

So, building a lasting brand can be extremely difficult.

Another downside to marketplaces like eBay and Amazon is the lack of connection you have

to your customers.

When a customer buys from your own store, you're able to start building a long-term

relationship with them.

Marketplaces like eBay and Amazon actively prevent this.

After all, it's in their interest to ensure that your business is reliant on their platform.

Building a long-term relationship with your customers is key to a sustainable business.

And these large marketplaces are not set up for this.

Next up?

Social media sales channels, like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

The benefit of these sales channels is that you can reach your customers where they spend

most of their time online.

For example, as I mentioned before, you can sell directly from Facebook by adding a shop

to your facebook page.

This is a great way to simplify your sales process for customers.

So, if you have high levels of engagement on a social platform, start using it as a

key sales channel.

Lastly, you can create your own ecommerce store.

We think this is the best method.

Primarily because you're in control of your customer experience, and relationships.

Platforms like Shopify provide many customization options.

Simply choose a design theme, and tweak it until you're happy.

Also, if your store is built through Shopify, the designs will be mobile-ready.

This is super important, as nearly a quarter of online purchases are made via a mobile

device.

And platforms like Shopify, let you manage your entire business from your mobile.

So, you can build your business on the move.

You're also able to connect directly with your customers in many ways.

This allows you to grow those all-important, long-term relationships with repeat customers.

Plus, if you're interested in selling your business down the line, it's much easier to

sell an independently owned ecommerce website.

In summary, choosing the best dropshipping sales channel very much depends on the individual

needs of your business.

But that said, having your own ecommerce store gives you the most flexibility and control

over your business.

Battlefield V - Frequency - Duration: 2:18.

Get ready to return to where it all began at the frontlines of World War II;

Battlefield V is coming this Fall.

I'm Al Baldino, and this is Frequency, from Turtle Beach.

16 years after Battlefield 1942 revolutionized first person shooters with its large scale

and multiplayer combat, Battlefield V is returning to its roots - bringing the fight back to World War II.

After V's world reveal back in May, tons of info has come out on the game, and we have

everything you need to know:

The gameplay of Battlefield V has been revamped, with several key changes to the traditional

squad combat.

Squads are now mandatory, and players will be assigned a squad as soon as they spawn.

If a squad member is critically wounded, it doesn't necessarily mean an instant death.

Downed players can call for medical aid, and there will be an opportunity for a fellow

soldier to drag them to safety and revive them.

Another key change is that the 3D spotting system is gone, making it much

more difficult to determine where an enemy is located.

Players will need to be more careful of their surroundings and be able to visually identify

friendly and enemy vehicles. In order to avoid wasting ammo and effort against friendlies.

Battlefield V does feature the classic game modes from previous entries, including Conquest

Mode and Domination, but will also introduce several new ones.

Combined Arms is a cooperative mode where 4 players team up to take on increasingly

challenging objectives.

Squads will have to decide whether to quit while they're ahead, or push their way through

to the final goal.

Grand Operations is a 64 player mode that takes place over 3 or 4 different maps.

Each map represents a day of battle, with each successive day affected directly by how

well players performed on the preceding ones.

And yes, Battlefield V will feature its own Battle Royale mode, but DICE is currently

keeping quiet on the details.

Are you interested in the changes to Battlefield V?

Let us know what you're excited for in the comments below.

Today's track is From Finland To France by Miste.

As always you can follow our soundtrack by following the show.

UNBOXING GIRL CARE ESSENTIALS 💗 JUSTICE - Duration: 5:06.

Hey guys, it's Nya.

Today we're going to be looking through this

Secretly a Mermaid Mini Essentials Kit by Justice.

I love these kits, so I can't wait to see what's inside.

Let's take a look.

The first thing on the back says

glitter nail polish, which is right here.

It looks awesome.

It's not exactly holographic,

but it is really, really, really glittery,

which is awesome.

My nails look horrible right now, so...

This is perfect for like, I guess you could say

it's an emergency kit, or just a kit

that you want to keep around.

Next thing you have is hair ties.

You can never have enough hair ties.

I always lose mine, so this is perfect,

and they're blue and glittery which is awesome.

So you can never have enough hair ties.

Always keep hair ties in this.

Next is a, what is this called?

I haven't used one of these.

Glitter hair clips.

So you open this up and, I haven't had this in forever.

Oh my god.

I used to use this when I was little.

You open it up, it's glittery on the front,

and you open it up like this,

you clip your hair back, and then it clips

and it stays in your hair like that.

You see what I mean?

So it's really, really, really pretty.

How cool is this?

Next you have a nail file.

This is probably my favorite because it's mini

and I love mini stuff, just like everything in here is mini,

and it's glittery and pretty and teal,

and everything in this is gorgeous.

This is awesome.

So you have a whole nail kit in here.

You have the nail polish and the nail file,

and then the next thing I'm going to show you

is the nail polish remover.

So if you just wanted to have this on for a day

or for wherever you're going,

then you have nail polish remover, which I'm going to open.

Oh, I don't want to open it,

but I want to show you guys how it works.

You open this up and you have,

wait is it, yeah, so you have one nail polish remover.

It's really soapy.

You take it and you...

wow it does well.

I'm actually taking off this,

and this is doing pretty well.

Really well, actually.

Next you have 50 nail stickers.

Oh, I probably should've put this on

when I had the polish on, but I didn't,

so we're just going to try this out by itself.

I've never even heard of a nail sticker,

but this seems cool.

I'm going to take the starfish,

and I think these are really fragile.

And you just have to put them on your nails,

and I have a starfish on my finger.

How cool is that?

So you could have a glittery ocean on your finger

with starfish and a seashell, and it looks amazing.

Really cool.

Next we have bobby pins, or hair pins.

They're blue, which is awesome.

The whole theme of this kit is blue if you can't tell,

and this looks awesome.

Let me take this little cardboard piece out.

Actually let me just do this.

These are actually really good bobby pins.

I'm going to call them bobby pins,

but these are like hair clips, these are hair pins,

but you would use this to get hair

out of your face or to keep your bun straight,

and these are awesome.

They're blue, they're sturdy, they're not flimsy,

and they won't fall out of your hair in two seconds,

so this is really, really, really nice.

I love these.

Next is my favorite, and I will be keeping

this in my purse, and I'm putting it in my purse today.

It is a mini mirror.

It kind of looks like one of those pins

you would pin right here, but it's actually a mirror.

And it's a really good one too.

It's not one of the ones that you can barely see yourself.

It's a good mirror, and it's awesome

for seeing your highlight in, and your mascara,

and it's amazing.

This is super cute.

It's a matte back with a pink mermaid,

and what other thing has a pink mermaid on it?

Okay none of them have a pink mermaid but the bag.

But this is so cool.

This whole kit is awesome.

Everything can fit back in here

without you having to put it in a certain way.

Just put everything back with the hair ties, the nail file,

polish, stickers, and the nail polish remover,

and you can zip it up perfectly.

And there's still space in there.

So this kit is awesome.

You guys need to go get it, it's amazing.

The colors are beautiful.

Even the bag, it's not exactly holographic,

but if you turn it in different lights

it turns different colors, which is cool.

Like blue and purple, which is really awesome.

So thank you guys for watching this video.

I really hope you liked it,

and make sure to subscribe to the Justice channel

for more awesome videos, and I'll see you next time.

Bye.

Cathedrals and Universities: Crash Course History of Science #11 - Duration: 13:21.

Hi, I'm Hank Green, this is Crash Course, and today I wanna explore two sites of knowledge

production in Europe during the medieval period.

This is the story of the cathedral and the university.

[INTRO MUSIC PLAYS]

First, let's agree to call the general time period in Eurasia and North Africa after the

birth of large states

but before colonial empires the medieval: a "middle age" that lasted from roughly

CE 500 to 1400.

So we've got our working definition established!

Across a large part of the medieval world, people traded knowledge, and many folks practiced

different forms of humoral medicine and alchemy.

The majority of these explorations of nature were conducted by individual elites—nobles

and other rich people who happened to take an interest in the world around them.

In a few places, however, knowledge production was highly centralized.

As we've seen in Baghdad, Delhi, Beijing, and Bologna—lots of medieval people were

making knowledge systematically.

The north of Europe was a different story.

Until roughly 1100, there were relatively few places of knowledge-making.

Monasteries and abbeys had special rooms called scriptoria

where monks copied manuscripts by hand.

But the biggest places where knowledge was made were the Gothic cathedrals.

Cathedrals were great stone churches that took years, sometimes many decades to build.

They weren't simply places to go on Sunday to worship.

A cathedral was the seat of a bishop, or regional church leader,

and the administrative, spiritual, and educational center of the bishopric or diocese—the district

under the bishop's control.

And if you wanted to go to one of these places, that didn't make you a christian, just like

going to taco bell doesn't make you a taco.

And, unlike castles, cathedrals are still used today for their original purposes.

Choosing a site for a cathedral was high stakes.

While secular rulers paid for cathedrals, bishops often chose where to build them.

This redrew the map of Europe and made some cities vastly more important: once a cathedral

was there, a city grew economically.

As populations grew, bishoprics split.

New cathedrals were needed.

While the first cathedrals date back to Constantine the Great, the high age of cathedral building

lasted from roughly 1000 to 1500.

This was an era of frantic economic growth in Europe.

The French, for example, built eighty cathedrals between 1050 and 1350,

moving more stone for these projects, in total, than was moved to build the great pyramids!

The construction of these vast, soaring spaces required immense technical knowledge.

What made a cathedral such a technical wonder?

Help us out, ThoughtBubble:

The height of the cathedral was important: narrow and tall, cathedrals drew the eyes

of worshippers up, inside and out.

Inside, a Gothic cathedral generally featured spacious arched vaults, lots of narrow windows

casting light muted by stain glass, and a big round "Rose" window in the front.

Stained glass was not only an artistic achievement, but a highly technical one.

Medieval artisans discovered through alchemical experimentation that adding gold chloride

to molten glass resulted in a red tint, and adding silver nitrate turned the glass yellow.

Recently, scientists analyzed stained glass from this era and discovered that this technique,

possibly dating back to the tenth century, worked because of nanotechnology!

Analysis of the stained glass revealed that gold and silver nanoparticles, acting as quantum

dots, reflected red and yellow light, respectively.

Historians still have no idea how medieval artisans made this glass.

Outside, towers and spires, guarded by gargoyles, stood tall above the small buildings of the

medieval city.

Perhaps the most striking architectural feature of the cathedral were its flying buttresses—

arches leaping off the side of the building, distributing weight down, allowing the great

stone mass to move up and up.

The physics of flying buttresses reveals how innovative they were.

High, stone-ceilinged cathedrals generated heavy outward thrust, a force that had to

be directed safely down to the ground.

Added to this was the problem of strong winds, which presented a danger to the tall, skinny

bodies of cathedrals.

One solution would have been to make the walls of cathedrals gigantic and thick and ugly.

But that's not what the cathedral builders did!

To move thrust out and down and resist the wind, buttresses were connected to the main

building with arms, making them look as though they were "flying."

Capped by intricately carved pinnacles, these arched supports allowed much light to stream

in through the stained-glass windows.

They also used less stone, reducing the cost of materials and labor.

Thanks Thought Bubble!

This strategy worked pretty well for many cathedrals…

Although the one at Beauvais—with an incredibly tall choir and a slightly misaligned arched

vault—partially collapsed in 1284.

For the most part we do not know who designed the cathedrals.

But we know that economic opportunities in cathedral cities attracted many skilled artisans.

Each cathedral project was led by a master builder.

Rough masons cut, mortared, and laid the heavy stones.

Freemasons completed the more intricate work, such as the tracery around the rose windows.

These artisans were the engineers of medieval Europe.

And having large numbers of them move from location to location was very unusual for

a time when most people died in the same village they were born.

These flying-buttressed monumental spaces didn't only motivate earthly activity.

They were representations of Paradise on earth.

This Paradise was part of a complex theoretical system for answering the question "where

are we?"

The medieval Christian cosmos looked a lot like the Aristotelian–Ptolemaic one: an

earthly sphere bounded within a series of planetary spheres, and beyond that, an ultimate

heavenly sphere.

But this heaven was literally Paradise, the home of God.

And below the earth was Hell.

(Dante strikingly detailed this Christianized model of the Aristotelian cosmos in his Divina

Commedia.)

You might wonder why the medieval Christians were so obsessed with death and Hell…

Well, we don't want to accuse medieval Europe of having been some uninteresting "dark age."

But it could be a pretty rough time and place to be alive.

A striking example of this grimness is the Black Death, a plague that swept across Europe

from 1348 to 1350.

Perhaps spread by flea-ridden merchants traveling the Silk Road, the plague bacterium, Yersinia

pestis,

killed anywhere from 75 to 200 million people—which was 30 to 60 percent of Europe's total population,

in two years.

aaaaahhhhh...

And the plague came back periodically until the nineteenth century… when cholera pandemics

arrived!

Before the Black Death, Europe had grown a lot.

And it was during this pre-plague period that universities took off.

Between 1100 and the mid-1300s, population growth and urbanization led to rise of the

university: there were more secular conflicts, so they needed more lawyers.

There were more religious arguments, so they needed more theologians.

And there were more people—and more were sick!—so they needed more physicians.

The proto-university in Europe was Charlemagne's palace at Aachen or Aix, in what is now Germany.

Charlemagne and his successors centralized knowledge production at the palace.

From around 800 until about 855, Aachen was an important site for the production of manuscripts

including religious and legal texts.

The first true European universities included Salerno, Bologna, Padua, and Naples in Italy;

Oxford and Cambridge in England; Paris and Montpellier in France; and Valencia in Spain.

Still looking good, U. Salerno!

Eleven hundred is the new thirty.

Although they all feature impressive old buildings today, medieval European universities started

off as self-governing associations of people with a common function.

The places where those people taught and learned could change, but the legal entity of the

university stayed the same.

In fact, the Latin word universitas even means "Corporation."

Which is... maybe... accurate today?

Joining this corporation required swearing a Christian oath.

University curricula, or book lists, had to approved by the Church.

This was paradoxically freeing, though, because it meant that cities and kings had to recognize

universities as self-governing:

if the Pope said that the faculty of a university were cool with him, then kings and nobles

couldn't boss them around so easily.

They could teach and research what they wanted to, as long as it was vaguely Catholic enough.

Plus, universities became tax exempt!

Let's say we are well-off medieval students ready to make campus visits.

First, our medieval parents lay out our options: doctor, lawyer, or priest.

Those are real jobs.

If we can't hack it at one of those, we can instead study something called the "liberal

arts."

Again, here we ware!

Traveling around, we encounter two kinds of university: in the "Northern" model, such

as at Paris, the most important discipline is theology.

The University of Paris was incorporated as an association of these "masters," or

teachers.

In the "Southern" model, at Montpelier and the Italian universities, medicine and

law are the most important subjects.

These universities were incorporated as associations of students, who had to pay the salaries of

their teachers.

No matter which school we choose, we'll need books.

Our Scholastic curriculum revolves around a few core texts, including some names we've

already encountered:

the famous physicians, Aristotle—especially the Physics—Euclid, Ptolemy, and Archimedes.

And did I mention Aristotle?

Which books we buy depends on what we'll study.

The artis liberalis, or liberal arts, are divvied up into a group of three, the trivium—

or tools for thinking, which are grammar, rhetoric and logic—and a group of four,

the quadrivium—or specific subjects,

which are arithmetic, geometry, astronomy, and music.

If we decide to study medicine, we'll read and reread sayings attributed to Hippocrates,

Aristotle, Galen,

Ibn-Sina, Al-Razi, Ibn-Rushd and a few Latin writers—

maybe Trota and an amazing abbess named Hildegard of Bingen.

She taught about human health as connected to the "green" health of the living environment.

Hildegard was way ahead of her time!

Our teachers' lectures serve as commentary on the canonical texts.

And there is also some emphasis on learning from experience—by visiting apothecaries,

shadowing doctors on their rounds, and attending anatomical dissections… of criminals.

Dissection is everyone's favorite class!

Although our liberal arts or medical curricula are taught as more or less finished sets of

knowledge, this is not to say that no one can make new knowledge.

It just has to enter the classroom as part of an ongoing discussion with the long-dead

"masters."

And enter it does.

By 1200, translations of classical Greek works lost to the Latin- and Romance-speaking northwest

of Eurasia came back into the libraries of universities and monasteries.

These were Latin translations of the Arabic translations we mentioned back in episode

seven.

What was the result of all this book learnin'?

For one, medieval Christians had to work harder and harder to reconcile scientific works by

their favorite Greek and Arabic masters with a Christian worldview.

Increasingly, the faculty—thinking systematically about thinking as separate from the Bible—ran

afoul of the Church.

In 1277, the bishop of Paris officially condemned 219 Aristotelian "errors,"

meaning that anyone teaching certain ideas from Greek philosophies would be excommunicated.

Historians are split on how this affected science: on the one hand, the suppression

of Aristotle's ideas sounds bad.

But on the other, this condemnation freed up medieval thinkers in continental Europe

to look beyond the so-called "masters."

Thought experiments about how Nature might really work, regardless of the Bible or Aristotle,

flourished.

Separating the study of a thing called "Nature" out from that of a perfect God, even hypothetically,

helped set the stage for a secular scientific program.

Nature became God's delegate, an intermediary force between God and humanity—something

to study… and, ultimately, control.

Control of nature meant first putting it in the right order: head before toes,

first causes before final ones, universals before specifics, and abstractions before

particulars.

This neat Aristotelian order, married to a Christian interpretation of the world based

on scripture,

would soon come up against theories drawn from meticulous record-keeping regarding natural

phenomena… such as astronomical data…

such as how heavenly bodies move…

But that's for next time, when we'll meet a certain mathematician who attended four

great universities—

Krackow, Bologna, Padua, and Ferrara—Nicolaus Copernicus!

World Cup 2018: Portugal to Russia by van - Duration: 2:46.

My name is Pedro Lobito and I come from Lisbon, Portugal.

I'm a developer.

I've been travelling with Carlos, the van is his.

Originally he's from Zurich,

but he comes from Lagos so he picked me up in Lisbon.

Then we went to the north of Portugal to get some wines,

some scarfs so we can pay the gas and here we are.

What gave you the idea to do this?

Look, it's the freedom of it.

The joy of the people when they see you.

That energy is what drives us.

It's what we like, the smiles and all that.

So this is where we drive,

it seats three, but we drive only in two.

If there is a friend or another person he sits in the middle.

There's photos all around

on the van, of the [2016] Euro Cup.

Carlos has been travelling for many, many years already.

This is Cristiano Ronaldo's sister.

This is at the final of the [2016] Euro Cup.

And this my ticket from that final that Carlos took.

So… we were there.

Fantastic...

A great, great moment for us

These are some scarfs, this is how we pay for the gas.

Some t-shirts too and that's Carlos there.

This my friend from Madeira.

We're all friends here.

We can take a shower, you see those blue [canisters]...

We have our own way of doing it,

but we can take a shower which is good.

We don't have a fridge, but we have a cooker and a cook.

[This is] Carlos, he's working right now with our friend.

[In here] it's a little bit messed up now.

This is Bruno, our friend.

Here is where we sleep, Carlos on one side and me on the other.

This side is mine and Carlos is here.

Most importantly you're here to see Portugal,

how do you think your country is going to do?

I'll tell you, Portugal used to play very beautiful football five or ten years ago

but we never won anything.

I think this last Euro Cup, probably a little before that,

we were more pragmatic.

When we played against Spain for example,

we went towards their goal five times and scored three goals.

Against Morocco, three times and one goal.

So we are a more pragmatic team right now.

Which gave us some big points.

And you have the best player in the world...

We do.

He's our leader, our captain.

He has a good heart and he's our leader.

When we need him, he's there.

Against Spain, Morocco and we hope with Iran now too.

We hope to win against Iran.

[They are] marvellous people,

very, very charming and curious.

So all good here, but of course the game is the game,

and we're here to win and to continue to the next stage.

So that's our objective.

Weird Reasons People Got Arrested In Restaurants - Duration: 5:01.

For most of us, a visit to a restaurant is a chance to treat ourselves to good food and

good company in a great atmosphere.

Spare a thought, then, for these patrons who were trying to have a nice night out, only

to have it ruined by the strange behavior of others, leading to the police being called

in.

Here are a few bizarre ways that people have been arrested in restaurants.

Eating bad seafood has given many of us plenty

of reasons to complain, though our complaints were probably more about the gastrointestinal

after-effects than the size of our servings.

But one man in Stuart, Florida was arrested for misusing 911 by calling to complain about

the size of the clams he had ordered.

The man called three times before police showed up and arrested him, though he was ultimately

not taken to jail.

Hopefully he learned a lesson about not being so selfish about shellfish.

Also charged for misuse of 911 was a woman in Alliance, Ohio, who complained to the emergency

service about the Chinese food she had just picked up from her local restaurant.

"I have bought some Chinese food and it's not to par."

The police determined that her sub-standard sweet & sour chicken was not a life-threatening

emergency and the woman was arrested after her real motives were revealed.

"We just spoke with the folks at Mainman and who say McLeod ordered several different items

from the menu and even ate some of them, and paying with a credit card.

But then she wanted cash back."

Diners in a Cape Coral, Florida fast food

restaurant got an unpalatable performance in August 2011.

For 10 minutes, a man dubbed the "McDonald's Pimple Popper" stood by the entrance of the

food franchise and popped zits on his back.

After receiving complaints from the deeply disgusted diners who were not lovin' it, the

police arrived.

Though the Pimple Popper was not charged for the gross act, he was eventually charged with

driving without a license, resisting arrest, giving a false ID, and possession of drug

paraphernalia.

"That's really life folks…it really happened.

. I don't get it… but you gotta love it."

People really love their chicken nuggets.

"How to I look?"

"Delicious.

Golden brown is your color."

One woman in South Hill, Washington loved them so much that she pulled a gun on the

drive-through attendant who served her one less than she was expecting.

After complaining her drink was late and that there was something in it, she started getting

irate.

Then, discovering she was one nugget short, she threw her drink at the staff, and started

banging on the window when staff closed it.

Before anyone knew what was happening, she had pulled out a handgun.

Police arrested her in her home after tracking down the car and the woman was later jailed.

We've all felt frustrated with how we've been

treated in a restaurant or coffee shop.

Thankfully, people usually don't express that anger the way one man in Houston, Texas sadly

did.

Three months after being banned from a branch of Starbucks, the man retaliated while drunk

by smashing a bottle on the ground before picking up a chihuahua and throwing it at

the store.

Despite suffering from head injuries, bleeding from the ears, and a broken leg, the dog fully

recovered and was the recipient of a viral fundraising campaign by a local animal shelter.

The same can't be said of the man, who was jailed for animal cruelty.

Two residents of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, took

their love of Breaking Bad to the extreme when they turned a utility room of their local

Taco Bell into a meth lab.

Justice finally met up with them when the Iowa police found the two men acting suspiciously

in front of the Mexican fast food restaurant in the early morning.

"Busted!

Cooking meth in a Taco Bell..

Yum!"

When police moved into the restaurant, they found pieces of the pair's makeshift meth

lab, leading to charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine for the pair and a possession

charge for one of them.

Management promised that the Taco Bell would be thoroughly sanitized before reopening.

We all love a freebie, but few of us would

ever go as far as one resident of Delray Beach, Florida.

Across 10 days in September 2017, a Floridian visited 10 different restaurants and slipped

glass into her own food in order to try to con each eatery into offering her free food.

"What she was doing was toward the time she was finishing her meal she was then taking

glass cutting herself, and she was then blaming the glass on the food preparers."

She eventually turned herself in to the police, who arrested the glassy gourmet on a charge

of scheme to defraud.

"Police say that suspect apologized and says, ti was like an adrenaline rush and now she

just wants to get this behind her and move forward."

Step back in time by a decade to remember

Nicky - "Sister of Paris" - Hilton.

Though most of Hilton's exploits have been lost to the era of MySpace and interviews

with talk show hosts no one remembers, a weird restaurant-related story remains from February

2009.

That's when Hilton made a citizen's arrest in a Hollywood branch of IHOP.

Leaving the International House of Pancakes at 5 a.m., the so-called "celebutante" was

pushed from behind, leading to her restraining the perpetrator until deputies arrived.

There's a lesson to be learned from all this.

"Stay out of trouble."
