we have a new sound machine to show you today it's the big red rooster sound
machine and it features six natural sounds to help you fall asleep easier sleep
better and it can be used to mask unwanted noise to help you focus on work
or study
so this big red rooster cell machine is powered either by battery 3 3 double-a
batteries or the AC cord and as I mentioned it features six natural sounds
which I would play in a minute all the buttons are on top easy to read easy to
control the unit itself is pretty compact on lightweight I've used a lot
of sound machines over the years so I want to tell you right off the bat what
I like about this one it can be powered by either AC or DC so either batteries
are or I plug it into the wall and many some machines don't offer that option
now you're either battery-operated or you have to plug them in so this makes
it very convenient for traveling if you choose to moving around or you can just
keep it in place - it's lightweight and very compact it doesn't take up a lot of
space so it doesn't have a big footprint and the third thing that I really like
about it is the control buttons they're all on top and easy to reach and if
you've used a sound machine where the buttons are on the side or they're tiny
then you probably know what I'm talking about how difficult it is to control it
when the lights are dim or when it's dark especially if you have a child
asleep or something and you don't want to wake them and you're trying to turn
it up or down or on or off you can't see what you're doing I really like the fact
that the buttons are all on top and the fourth thing that I really like is that
offers the six natural sounds and that's pretty much what you need I'm going to
run through those sounds in a minute I have had other sound machines that
toggle they like each button or switch toggles
between sounds and it gets very complicated hard to find what you like
so this is just very very easy to turn on and off and easy to control so let me
show you how that works here's a button run to the sounds
that rain
and then there's the volume control you can turn it up and down
and the next sound is Brooke gonna strain on the Brooke very relaxing
soothing sound this song will be good I think for meditation or yoga tai chi no
but you have to use these just asleep some people use them a lot to mask
background I definitely have done baby okay there's thunder I personally don't
find the sound of thunder when I examine particularly but some people really do
enjoy that sound
and then there's white noise which is just kind of like
not highly modulated kind of like a fan noise it's really great for sleeping
really great for babies children and this ocean and who doesn't like the
sound of the ocean I think that would also be good for meditative meditation
and there's a summer night
crickets in the back make you feel like you're out camping
and with the windows down
very nice
here's the timer button right here on the top edge to the power button and the
options are 15 30 or 60 minutes course you can just leave it on
continuously which is what I'd like to do overnight so I guess you could say
call this kind of a minimalist design it's at a very efficient use of space
you got the speaker on the front buttons on the top I like to use sound machines
not just for sleeping but to mask unwanted noise or even sometimes if it's
just too quiet and I'm trying to focus to concentrate
to study to work I'll use it for that and I think that the ocean is a good one
or the white noise that's a matter of personal preference as I mentioned at
the beginning what I really like about this sound machine it's kind of its
simplicity really the fact that it can be powered with batteries or what's a
wall plug the fact that it's a light compact the controller buttons on top
easy to reach and then it has the six sounds which is really all you need not
overly complicated you've got the timer everything is lined up on the top so
it's I am definitely going to replace one of the somme machines that I'm using
with this I have to confess I have two sound machines in my bedroom I've got
one of my office and one that I used sometimes for
meditation so I really do see the utility of these white noise and sound
machines and your song machines and I'm going to you
replace one of the ones that I have in my bedroom with this one because it's so
easy to control in the darker and in the near darkness so this is the Big Red
