Hey Guys! This is Raghav here

from Headphone Zone

Beats by Dr. Dre is probably the most

iconic headphone brand of our times

and the fact that it's owned by Apple

they only adds to the aura around the brand.

The Studio 3 Wireless is Beats's 'flagship' headphone

and it features Adaptive Noise Cancellation

and the now fabled, Apple W1chip.

We thought we'd do a quick video

taking a closer look at these headphones

and giving you everything that you need to know

about the Beats Studio 3 Wireless.

Lets get started

I wanna first talk about the design

of the Studio 3 Wireless

It's an unmistakably Beats by Dre headphone.

It comes in a wide range of colors

and have a really nice premium look to it.

But, Beats has over the years been more

famous... and infamous for having a really cheap plastic

build quality. But the Studio 3 Wireless is a

definite upgrade. The construction of the headphone is still

plastic, but they are definitely very durable

it looks like its really received the Apple treatment

to make the headphones really nice and matt

rather than the earlier cheap, glossy finish.

The big design feature for me

is the fact that the headphones can be collapsed

and folded. It allows for the headphone

to be stashed away really conveniently.

The Apple W1 chip is really the 'Angel' and the 'Devil'

when it comes to the Studio 3 Wireless.

Now, Apple has really designed these headphones

to work exclusively and extensively with the

Apple ecosystem, So pairing these headphones

with the iPhone is an absolute breeze.

You simply bring the Studio 3 Wireless close to an

iPhone and the W1 chip gets detected

and it pairs seamlessly.

Pairing it with an iMac is just

as easy. And if you're listening to iTunes,

you find that you can control your music

right from your headphones.

Calling upon Siri from the headphones is just as seamless

and Apple has really paid attention to the smallest of details

while using these headphones.

If you're gonna be using these headphones with an Android

device, You'll find that even pairing the headphones

is very painful. The headphones sometimes

don't show up on the Bluetooth menu

and connection dropouts are very common.

You find that while you're using it with

an Apple device, the Studio 3 Wireless comes with

22 hours of battery life, try using it

with an Android and the battery life

falls down to only 14 hours.

You can't really use these headphones

to control the way you stream your music

with Spotify or Tidal

or with really any other streaming service

quite the same way as you can

when you're using them with iTunes.

You also find that the functionality gets very limited

when you're not just using it with

Android devices but with the windows laptop

or with an Amazon firestick

or with a Google Chromecast.

More importantly

the Studio 3 Wireless doesn't support Qualcomm's

aptX codec, So these headphones sound great

as long as you use it, you guessed it... with an Apple device.

I think that the main feature that Apple has

gone for with the Studio 3 Wireless

is the Adaptive Noise Cancellation function on these headphones

The headphone is constantly optimizing the sound

its playing into your ears, by detecting the sound

around you and in the environment.

Its Noise Cancellation isn't the best in its class

but it certainly gets the job done.

In terms of sound... Beats by Dr. Dre

has always been known for having lots and lots of bass

and the Studio 3 Wireless is certainly a very bass heavy

and warm sounding headphone.

It lacks a lot of the detail and refinement

then a lot of the other headphones in this class have

but Apple isn't trying to impress audiophiles

with these headphones.

The Studio 3 is a fun sounding headphone

especially if you listen to music like EDM,

or Bollywood... or really anything which has a

thick bassline.

In conclusion, the Beats Studio 3 Wireless

is neither the best sounding headphone,

nor the best Noise Cancellation headphone

but, if you're someone who is loyal to the Apple ecosystem

you'll find that the convenience offered by

the Studio 3 Wireless is simply unparalleled.

It's Apple doing what Apple does best

which is offering a seamless user experience

across all its devices.

I'm only going to recommend the Studio 3 Wireless

to an Apple fan boy.

I hope this video was helpful.

If you should have any other questions

about the Beats Studio 3 Wireless feel free to put them

in the comment section below

and I'll be sure to respond to as many of them as i can.

Thanks Guys! This is Raghav signing off.

VT English | English Job Interviews: The Most Common Questions & How to Answer Them - Duration: 6:35.

Hi, I'm Howard, the manager of the marketing team.

Hi, I'm Kelsi. Nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you. Please have a seat.

So, how are you?

I'm good. How are you?

Great, thank you.

Alright, so you're here to interview for the Online Marketing Assistant position, correct?

Yes.

Alright, to get started, can you tell me a bit about yourself?

Uh...

English Job Interviews: The Most Common Questions & How to Answer Them!

Hi, everyone! Welcome back to VT English.

Job interviews are stressful for all of us.

But, if you're interviewing for a job in a language that's not your native language, it can be even more stressful!

In this video, we're going to go through some of the most common questions

that are asked in English interviews

and give you some tips on how to answer them.

Can you tell me a bit about yourself?

The most common first question in English interviews is "Can you tell me a bit about yourself?"

This question can seem difficult to answer because it's so open,

but the interviewer mainly wants to hear about your education and work experience.

You can also include some personal information, like your interests, if you think it relates to the job.

But remember to keep it short and sweet!

Can you tell me a bit about yourself?

Sure.

I graduated from the University of Washington in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.

Since then, I've worked at two different companies as a marketing assistant.

And I'm also an avid reader, so I'm really interested in working in the publishing industry.

Alright. It sounds like you have a lot of great experience.

What do you know about our company?

Another question you might be asked is "What do you know about our company?"

The interviewer wants to know whether you've done your research about the company

and how much they need to explain to you about it.

Make sure to take a look at the company's website and social media before your interview

so that you're prepared to answer this question.

So, what do you know about our company?

Well, I know that Carleton Publishing is one of the leading publishing companies in the country.

I also heard that you guys are focusing more on eBooks recently.

That's correct. Let me tell you a little bit more about that...

Why do you want to work here?

To answer the question "Why do you want to work here?" you can explain what attracts you to the company.

You could talk about things that you admire about the company,

maybe their products or services, their values, or even their success.

Or you could talk about things that you see as benefits of working at the company,

like training opportunities or career paths that excite you.

So Kelsi, why do you want to work here?

I think that working at such a prestigious publishing company will give me a lot of opportunities to learn and grow.

I also really admire that Carleton gives back to the community through charity work.

Yes, that's something we've really been focusing on lately.

What would you say is your greatest weakness?

"What would you say is your greatest weakness?" is a tricky question,

but you need to be ready to answer it!

Don't give them a fake answer, like "I work too hard."

Choose a real weakness,

but make sure it's something that won't make the interviewer

doubt your ability to do the job you're applying for.

You can also mention how you're trying to improve on this weakness.

What would you say is your greatest weakness?

I think an area I could improve on is public speaking.

I tend to get nervous when I have to speak in front of more than a few people.

But I'm trying to improve on this by volunteering to present when I'm given the opportunity to at work.

OK. That shouldn't be much of an issue here.

What would you say is your greatest strength?

If you're asked "What would you say is your greatest strength?"

it's a great opportunity to highlight strengths that you want the interviewer to know about.

Make sure that you choose strengths that are related to the job.

You could even look at the job description and choose a quality that they list there.

What is your greatest strength?

I would say that my greatest strength is my ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

In my last position, I often had to juggle several projects at a time,

so I learned to manage my time effectively to get everything done.

Perfect. That will definitely come into play in this position.

Why should we hire you?

"Why should we hire you?" is another tough question.

The interviewer is asking you to convince them that you are right for this job.

To answer, you can explain why you are qualified for the job and what sets you apart from others.

Why should we hire you?

I think that my combination of experiences, skills, and interests make me a perfect fit for this job.

I have experience in marketing and strong writing skills,

and I also have a passion for books which I think will help me understand the company and its values.

OK. That all sounds really good.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Some interviewers might ask you "Where do you see yourself in five years?"

The interviewer wants to know about your future plans and how they might go together with this job.

To answer this, you can tell them a little about your career goals.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years, I hope to be a marketing manager, and I'd especially like to continue my focus on online marketing.

Alright. Seems like a great goal.

Do you have any questions?

The last question that you'll be asked at a job interview is: Do you have any questions?

Make sure you're prepared to ask at least one meaningful question.

You could ask them to clarify things about the job or ask something about the company overall.

But, it's best to avoid questions about salary or benefits if it's the first interview.

Do you have any questions for me?

Well, I know a lot about the company's publications and public relations,

but I'm curious about the corporate culture.

Can you tell me more about that?

Sure. Overall, we try to maintain a positive, enjoyable working environment.

One way we do this is by organizing social activities several times a year.

That sounds great.

Well, I think that's about it.

It sounds like you'd make a great fit. We'll definitely be in touch.

Thank you so much.

You bet.

Kristen Stewart's Twilight Daughter Grew Up to Be Stunning - Duration: 8:58.

Fans of the Twilight book series had spent years eagerly awaiting the movie adaptations.

Even besides getting to see the consummation of Bella and Edward's love on the big screen,

fans were just as excited to see the half-vampire child that resulted from that love.

In The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, a young actress by the name of Mackenzie Foy proved

to be a perfect fit for the part of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's fictional offspring,

Renesmee.

Only 11 at the time of her Twilight debut, Foy caught the attention of Hollywood and

more roles followed.

From playing an innocent half-vampire to starring in a highly-anticipated live-action retelling

of a classic ballet, Foy has evolved into a stunning actress whose star is officially

on the rise.

Typical tot

Prior to being discovered by Hollywood, baby Foy was just like any other toddler.

The actress shared a sweet glimpse into her life pre-fame on Instagram, joking,

"#TBT to when I was three!!!

Yah black eye and big belly that's how I rolled."

Given that Foy kicked off her career at that same age, it wouldn't be long before she was

spotted by talent scouts.

Early success

Before Renesmee ever came into being onscreen, Foy caught her first career break by chance.

According to USA Today, a talent scout spotted the then-three year old at a dance recital,

kicking off Foy's career as a child model.

Foy alluded to her modeling roots on Instagram in 2017, sharing a nostalgic portfolio pic

of herself standing in a field of flowers.

"#tbt to little me at a photoshoot for @garnethillpics," the now-actress captioned the shot.

Foy followed up those modeling gigs with commercial work - the young actress got her start making

commercials for Barbie, Pantene, Blackberry, and even Disney.

In 2009, though, Foy landed her first episodic part in the TV series 'Til Death.

"I can't think of anything."

"Huh.

Well, you know what's always good?

Cash.

How much you want?"

"Um, I don't know.

Ten dollars?"

Roles on the shows Flashforward and Hawaii Five-O followed in 2010 before Foy snagged

the role of a lifetime in the Twilight franchise.

From supernatural to super-scary

If you're the type who likes to have the wits scared out of you, 2013's horror film The

Conjuring should be on your watch-list.

Not only is it a stellar example of the possession genre, but it also features Foy in her first

big role following the Twilight films.

She plays Cindy, one of the several daughters in a rural farmhouse with a decidedly unwanted

supernatural guest.

Making the film even more interesting is the fact that Foy and the rest of the cast and

crew endured strange experiences on and around the set in North Carolina.

Director James Wan told Collider,

"I don't want to make up fake stuff, but it has been really weird some of the stuff that

I have been hearing.

[...] Even Vera [Farmiga] has said from the moment she came to do this movie, she'd always

wake up between the period from 3 to 4 in the morning."

Spoiler: that specific hour has a lot of significance in the film.

Co-star friendships

Fortunately for Foy, she made it out of The Conjuring without falling prey to any personal

hauntings.

And, apparently, filming such an intense movie makes for a great bonding experience between

co-stars - Foy became fast friends with actress Joey King, who played one of her sisters in

the movie.

The two kept in touch, and King frequently pops up on Foy's Instagram feed.

Given how much the girls have in common, their friendship is a natural fit.

Both hail from Los Angeles and are close in age.

They both appeared in commercials before finding fame.

On film, they both appeared on R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour and lent their voices to

the animated movie The Boxcar Children.

Twinsies!

Real best friend

Joey King may come and go on Foy's social media, but there's one presence who remains

constant: Foy's dog, Firefly.

The pooch could not be cuter - or a better friend to the young star.

It's obvious they spend every spare moment together that Foy's burgeoning career allows.

They take selfies.

They go on road trips.

They channel the luck of the Irish with matching green apparel on St. Patrick's Day.

Foy even coordinated her Halloween outfit to Firefly's, with the precious pair dressing

up as an angel and devil, respectively.

TaeKwonDo-n't mess with her

Don't let Foy's delicate beauty fool you - this girl is fierce.

She's been practicing martial arts since she was a child and has even earned her black

belt.

During a 2014 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Foy chatted with the

host about her favorite hobby.

"When I'm not working or doing school, I'm at TaeKwon-Do."

"Oh that's right, and you actually just got your black belt, am I wrong?"

"Yes."

After this revelation, she demonstrated her considerable talent by hilariously taking

Fallon down using a self-defense move from the sport.

Out of this world

In 2014, another huge role came along for Foy as the brainy daughter of Matthew McConaughey's

character in the space adventure Interstellar.

Along with McConaughey, the young star appeared in the film alongside two other Hollywood

heavy-hitters: Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway, both of whom Foy clearly holds in high regard.

Of Hathaway, Foy told Vanity Fair,

"Anne told me not to judge myself so hard when I see movies, and to see it as myself

progressing.

Which is incredible advice, and she's such an amazing person.

I just love her so much."

Chastain and Foy got to know each other on set while creating their shared character.

Foy explained their creative process, saying,

"Just little things that we do with our hands, facial expressions, with like the pencil [behind

the ear], always having a messy bun."

Gilmore girl?

In July 2016, Foy posted a photo to Instagram that sent fans into a frenzy.

The pic featured Foy, alongside Gilmore Girls' Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel which was

captioned "Soooo this happened!!!"

Given the fact that Foy looks eerily similar to the two women, rumors she could soon become

a Stars Hollow resident started circulating.

Alas, fans will have to put a pin in that idea.

International Business Times' Megan Schaefer did a bit of internet sleuthing when the speculation

started, and discovered a perfectly logical reason for the run-in.

The women were all working on Netflix productions at the time - Graham and Bledel on the Gilmore

Girls miniseries, and Foy on The Little Prince.

So, long story short, the women likely won't turn up as family onscreen - but they're all

part of the Netflix family.

Twilight reunion

Because Hollywood is such a small world, Kristen Stewart and her former onscreen offspring,

Foy, enjoyed a mini-reunion in March 2018.

The backdrop for this blast from the past was the limited-edition Chanel Beauty House

pop-up in L.A., which the stars attended separately.

And so, six years after the release of the final Twilight film, Stewart and Foy came

together once more for a nostalgic photo opp.

It's not surprising the two would be happy to see each other.

Foy has spoken frequently over the years about the fondness she carries for her older costar.

In 2012, Foy told MTV of Stewart and Robert Pattinson:

"They're really, really sweet.

They weren't so much as like brother/sister, they're more as super sweet friends."

Foy went on to say that both stars were always very kind to her during filming, even if they

weren't exactly as parental as their fictional counterparts.

The Nutcracker

The future holds big things for Foy, starting with the role of a lifetime - the lead in

Walt Disney Pictures live-action retelling of The Nutcracker.

Foy stars as Clara, a little girl tasked with taking care of a very special Nutcracker Christmas

doll.

The movie adaptation is based on the Alexandre Dumas version of The Nutcracker.

As she did in Interstellar with Matthew McConaughey and in Twilight with Kristen Stewart, Foy

shares the Nutcracker screen with veteran stars of Hollywood.

Keira Knightley brings the Sugar Plum Fairy to life, Morgan Freeman stars as Drosselmeyer,

and Helen Mirren plays Mother Ginger.

Suffice it to say that Foy is pretty pumped about landing her part.

When the news of the casting broke in July 2016, the starlet took to Instagram to express

her joy, saying, "I'm so excited and honored to be a part of this amazing film.

A new adventure begins."

She seems to be taking her research seriously, too.

In December 2016, she shared a photo on Instagram of the Royal Opera House in London.

The production?

The Nutcracker ballet, of course!

Why These Lasers Are Too Powerful to Use in Space - Duration: 3:32.

Hey guys! Matt here for Science or Fiction.

Many countries have proposed developing giant lasers to shoot at things in space.

No, this is not the plot of Austin Powers 4, these are real, honest-to-god plans hatched

up by a group of scientists.

The idea is that a massive laser would be used to zap space junk into such tiny pieces

so that they will no longer pose a threat to important spacecraft like the International

Space Station.

But, would that even work?

Are space lasers really a thing?

Well, first, you might be wondering, what the heck is space junk?

There are actually a couple of types.

There's natural and unnatural kinds.

The natural kind mostly refers to small meteors that orbit the sun.

The unnatural kind, also known as orbital debris, includes any man-made object orbiting

the Earth that no longer serves a useful function.

This includes pieces of nonfunctional spacecraft, old rockets, abandoned launch vehicle stations,

retired satellites, some dude in a Telsa/car etc.

Now, many space agencies are trying to develop plans to deal with the debris because space

junk is becoming a huge problem for their operations.

And this shouldn't come as a big surprise given that humans have been sending all sorts

of things up into the cosmos over the last 60 years.

There are over 20,000 pieces of space junk larger than a softball currently orbiting

Earth.

There are well over 500,000 pieces of space junk that are the same size as a marble or

larger, and millions upon millions of pieces that are much smaller.

That said, even a super tiny piece of space junk could inflict serious damage on an active

spacecraft, including the ISS, given that most of these morsels are traveling up to

speeds of up to 17,500 mph.

NASA first started to consider the option of a laser in 1996.

The space agency teamed up with the U.S. Air Force on Project Orion, which suggested that

a powerful laser could be used to vaporize surface material on space junk.

If vaporized enough, the idea was that the objects would be taken out of orbit and come

hurtling back to Earth, where they would burn up in the atmosphere.

This proposal never became a reality because the laser would be so powerful that it could

also have been considered a weapon, which wasn't likely to sit well with other countries.

Since then, NASA has proposed using much less powerful lasers to do a similar job.

In 2011, a team looked into using a system that would operate using photon momentum.

Instead of one quick zap, this laser would use a much weaker light that would concentrate

on one piece of junk for an hour or two over the course of multiple days.

Still, this proposal has yet to become a reality.

There have also been proposals for magnets that would be used to lure the pieces out

of orbit.

And (a group of) European engineers have recently developed a net with a harpoon to test the

effectiveness of plucking debris out of orbit and sending it into the atmosphere to burn.

But as lasers remain one of the more popular ideas, many still fear that the deployment

of lasers could mean the militarization of space.

Theoretically, a laser could also destroy functioning satellites from other countries,

not only space debris.

There are strict international treaties in place to prevent space militarization, which

makes plans like this one very controversial.

Whether or not space lasers ever become a reality, the plan is feasible.

The U.S. and other countries definitely have the technology to carry it out.

So while this laser scheme may seem like something out of a Star Wars or James Bond movie, it's

real, and it could start within our lifetimes.

Speaking of something out of a James Bond movie, what happens when humans go really

fast?

Like, you know, how Bond does in those fancy cars and jets.

Well, we talk about what G forces do to the human body in this video here.
