Waching daily Jun 28 2018

hi I'm Mike and here for the last step of the high tunnel and claiming all the

glory is I'm not gonna claim all the glory today is actually our 10-year

wedding anniversary and I can't think of a better wedding gift than a completed

high tunnel well I'm excited 99% complete nikon so we're going to take

you through the last and hopefully the final steps of the high tunnel today on

our will my wife

welcome back to our Wyoming life the tunnel is 99% done I'd call it 99 95 95

percent done we're still waiting on the indoors we got to pick those up from

Bernards and get those installed and if you want to check that out we're gonna

have that coming up in the herd report you can sign up for that on our website

www.hiwayfx.com and but before planting I need to do irrigation I need to shape

beds with the BCS and I need to put irrigation down and then we can put some

stuff in the ground super late in the season but I think we'll still get a

small crop of tomatoes that's a big thing as the big pushes Tomatoes big

push tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers or what the priority is in the high

tunnel gotcha today we head into the final

stage of the high tunnel build and it all starts with a wiggle wire channel

this small one-inch channel will be all that holds the plastic on the high

tunnel over the course of one day it is all attached up and over the end of each

hoop securing it to the metal pipe by bending it over and attaching it with

tech screws this is actually one of the easiest parts of building the hole I

tell you just get a channel put it in place and screw it in keeping it all in

a straight line wiggle wire is what's going to hold all the plastic onto the

high tunnel it'll fit into this channel all the way around so now we have to

secure it to the side boards we installed a long time ago the easiest

way that I found to do this is to use a chalk line and snap a reference line

along the entire length of the ribbon board then screwing in the wiggle wire

channel for added security against the wind we're also going to install a

second row of will wire channel just below that we've learned a few things

from the first high tunnel build we did a few years ago and although the

manufacturer doesn't have a plan that follows our thinking we hope that this

will not only keep the tunnel from blowing apart again

it'll also balance some of the load of the plastic and the stress that can be

placed on it from rolling up the sides also as we get closer to the time of

plastic installation it's also time to start wrapping up some last-minute small

tasks like cutting off any excess on the end walls and smoothing out any rough

spots that might catch on the plastic as we pull it over and set it in place as

the Sun sets we call it a day the big day is tomorrow and we're expecting a

calm morning so we've made a few phone calls and gotten some help lined up in

the morning we'll put on the rest of the channel and be ready for plastic by 8:00

hopefully

this morning is a busy one the winds are almost calm which is exactly what we

need we're gonna be dealing with a piece of plastic that's 45 feet wide and 75

feet long the last thing we need is a wind or even a gust if that happens we

could be in big trouble the first thing that we do is get our plastic out and

under the Sun to warm up a bit the warm of the plastic is the more it's gonna

stretch and working with this is a delicate balance not only will it

stretch when it's warm it's also going to contract when it's cold and we don't

want it put it on too tight or too loose Aaron's out with me this morning as she

starts taping off any exposed bolts that might rub on plastic and tightens

anchors that hold the high tunnel in place using the BCS tractor I mowed down

some grass to prevent anything from poking plastic or preventing us from

sliding it along the ground as we pull it over the structure help arise

including neighbor Gary and our friends Nick and Stephanie plastic is unrolled

and we put it in place rope will be attached to the plastic and used to pull

it up over the entire tunnel four people will pull it over while others guide the

edges and make sure the plastic doesn't get caught on anything

utilizing a golf ball we wrap the plastic around it then we tie the rope

around that that helps so we're pulling against the golf ball and not just the

plastic the plastic is 12 mil thick now a human hair is 1 mil thick so this

plastic is about as thick as 12 human hairs and it's woven plastic it has

small fibers throughout the entire sheet this will hopefully stop any rips or

tears that may happen over time and it'll keep them from spreading as we've

dealt with in the past with regular plastic our window here might be a short

one so all the ropes are tied on and it's time to get this thing up and over

nice and smooth

as of right now there is nothing that's actually attaching this plastic to the

high tunnel and that's the next step putting on short sections of wiggle wire

spring-like wire that slips into the channel and uses only tension to hold

the entire top on when we first started messing with these high tunnels I really

didn't trust it but even though that we've lost covers I found that this

little piece of wire is still holding it's some tough stuff and you can really

tell how well it holds in if you ever have to take any out by working back and

forth we stretch the plastic out over the entire building and eventually work

our way around until all the plastic aside from the roll-up sides is attached

and tight for the roll-up sides a series of pipes are attached together and the

entire length is placed on the overhanging plastic then it's clipped on

our roll-up gearbox is assembled including the rollers that'll guide it

on the track the gearbox is fitted to the end of the roll-up pipe the track is

fitted to the tunnel and using a hook on a stick we can roll up the slides slowly

very slowly but for every problem there's a solution

roll up sides done although not straight yet that'll soon be fixed we can now

install our anti bill a rope that'll keep the roll-up sides in place that

prevents them from blowing out overall a successful day the only casualty the

remote control for the drone which was run over by the Gator a small price to

pay for a good long day I did break the drone well I didn't break the drone no I

broke the remote control for the drone luckily the drone was fine thanks to

Nick because he was smart enough to put the drone in the Gator but he didn't put

the remote in the Gator so no it's on the front of the Gator in kind of like a

blind spot I didn't see it and I had to buck it back to the shop for something

and ran over the drone your phone survived my phone did survived my phone

straps onto the room remote so it bounced off and flew off in the weeds

but the remote no anyway so that's it the high tunnel is done we're moving on

we've got Brandon coming up this weekend that is on Saturday we're gonna start

that about seven o'clock mountain time and we're gonna be live-streaming the

entire thing now that's gonna actually take the place of our Sunday video I

need to get a day ahead so I might needed like sleep or something we're

tired it's been late to get the cover on we still had a bunch of stuff that we

had to do that we we talked about in the video and which just it was a couple

late nights and the reason we rushed so fast is brandy and pain and we had a

great day with no wind and it was check the forecast and and we had to go so

it's been a few really long long days and late nights and not much sleep for

either one of us so yeah branding be sure you're there

for that we're gonna start up hanging probably the day after branding probably

on Sunday and we've got company coming in and little will they know that

they're gonna get put to work cuz we don't have time to it's so bad that

they're coming and we're gonna put them to work but at the same time it's like

such a blessing because there very capable and right these are some

friends of mine that are coming down from Montana old friends that grew up on

farms their farm kids so yeah I'm sorry it's your vacation but we're gonna we're

gonna do is actually they're ok with it I feel bad I don't want to make it sound

like I'm just like pushing them into it but they're they're gonna be fine

and Sam's coming back for branding Sam is gonna be here for branding and Hannah

is gonna be here for branding maybe we don't know yet but we do have some

returning faces so it's gonna be a lot of fun I hope you're able to join us on

Saturday you can float in and out the thing goes on forever

so don't think you have to sit there and watch it all it's like seven or eight

hours but yeah yeah tune in when you can we'll be trying to answer as many

questions as we can during branding I will be in and out of the house

answering stuff on the computer and Mike will answer stuff as it pops up on the

screen if you have time if I'm holding the phone it is gonna be done on a phone

with no Wi-Fi so it might not be the best quality yeah um the recap video

though will hopefully be a little better quality in the hard report so make sure

that you sign up for that herd report so you can get the branding recap yeah and

the doors when we get the doors but it right we'll have all that coming up so

thanks for hanging out with us make sure you subscribe hit that Bell notification

so that you get the notifications when we put out new videos because over the

next couple months it might be a little sporadic we don't know what's gonna

happen the next few weeks are gonna be really rough right paying you know

and I don't know I'm kind of I'm kind of on the fence about hanging I'm driving

around in a tractor in circles all day long I might actually have more time to

get stuff done we'll find out we can see if we can edit a video while we're

driving a tractor anyway thanks for hanging out with us today we will see

you again

we'll be hanging out as a big truck goes by we'll be hanging out Saturday morning

so make sure you come down and join us hang out with us for some branding and

we'll have a lot of fun until then have a great week and thanks for joining us

in our wyoming light you cannot look like a porter alternate answer

FDA Approves Drug Derived From Cannabis Oil: Here Comes Big Pharma - Duration: 4:56.

The FDA has announced it has approved a brand new drug derived from marijuana.

Epidiolex is used to treat severe seizures and epilepsy.

The drug contains CBD, or cannabidiol, which is derived from cannabis.

CBD, for short, has the same benefits as THC, the main active chemical in marijuana, but

does not produce psychoactive effects when ingested or consumed.

Now, this is the first drug approved by the FDA derived from marijuana, and may signal

a change in drug scheduling from the DEA.

For more on this, we're turning now to Mike Papantonio.

Of course, he's the host of America's Lawyer.

Pap, great to see you.

First, how big is this for the FDA to approve a cannabis-based drug?

Well, the good news is the FDA's decision to approve this treatment shows that they're

no longer able to deny the science that shows us that cannabis oil treatments are incredibly

effective in certain kinds of conditions.

For so long that we didn't know, because the DEA wouldn't even allow people to test drugs

like this.

The science and the trials that have been done showing that these marijuana derived

oil type medications can treat seizures, they've been piling up for years.

As a matter of fact, full disclosure, I own part of Charlotte's Web, which is one of the

first cannabis oils that was actually used to treat epilepsy.

The name of the bill that was passed in Florida was called the Charlotte's Web bill, which

gave us the right to be able to sell this type of oil.

This decision's going to allow people to get prescriptions for cannabis oils.

It will now be covered under their insurance plans, which is a huge step for these patients

that have been having to pay out of their pocket for these treatments.

It should also give the agency the ability to fast track the approval of similar kinds

of treatments derived from cannabis.

It's gonna open a whole new market of treatments for seizures, pain relief, inflammatory conditions.

This is one of the most effective ways to help combat the opiod epidemic that we're

faced with.

As a matter of fact, they're now finding that they can use marijuana to treat opioid addicts.

I think this is really important, especially for an organization that is just so abysmal

as the FDA.

You know, I've talked about the FDA for so long.

It's such a dysfunctional organization.

I think they're always pushed by corporate America.

That's what happened here.

You're saying that this is setting precedence for everything else to follow that could solve

a lot of other issues that America has, like you said, with the opioid epidemic.

But what legal thresholds would the scientists behind this or advocates and attorneys, what

sort of legal threshold do they have to overcome for cannabis to meet before the FDA could

approve this sort of medicine?

No, we have a misunderstanding about the FDA across the board.

The FDA is not really most of the time driven by really what I would call pure science.

It's driven mostly by corporate influence.

That's part of the problem here.

This is what we have to worry about.

Big pharma isn't happy about the idea of being able to use cannabis oil unless it comes through

one of their pharmaceuticals.

Major drug companies were late to the party on medical marijuana, and the studies show

that they're already losing about $4 billion a year as more and more areas allow for medical

marijuana and this cannabis oil.

So, the FDA's decision is rarely really driven by just pure hard science, as you may not

... These are the kind of cases I handle all the time, pharmaceutical cases.

It's abysmal the way the FDA makes decisions.

Most of the time, the clinical-

But Mike, what's gonna happen?

What's gonna happen though if the DEA refuses to classify anything with a marijuana extract,

including CBD ... They still call it a schedule one substance, which means they don't count

this as having any sort of medical benefits.

How are the two government agencies gonna square this or are people gonna get thrown

in jail for having a prescription?

Well, they're now allowing some scientific research type of exceptions to what you're

talking about.

That's the type of thing that's held us up for so long.

These exceptions are gonna continue to grow as we find more and more states actually legalizing

marijuana.

At some point, the feds have to say okay.

And real quickly Mike, I'd like to get your thoughts on Justice Kennedy, his plans to

retire next month.

Well, good riddance.

He was always viewed as this swing vote who was gonna change things.

Not really.

He's never been a swing vote.

He's been a conservative.

So, no big loss.

All right.

I guess we've got to wait and see who takes his seat.

Thank you so much, as always, sharing your expertise with us.

Surviving Germany as a Tourist - Duration: 15:16.

everybody that I knew that I had ever been to Germanily... oh wow the words.

hey guys what's up it's Kelly again and welcome back to my channel for today's

video I'm going to share with you guys some of the best advice that I got when

I found out I was moving to Germany and a lot of this advice is really practical

and I think it could be useful if you're going to Germany as a tourist or if

you're gonna live there like I did so the first and probably best piece of

advice that I got was to always have cash on you

cash is definitely king in Germany there are a lot of places that just will not

accept credit cards so Germans will have German bank accounts obviously and with

those bank accounts like at these things called Giro cards which is like an

electronic cash card and it's sort of like an internal debit card system so

they're able to use that in every establishment without really any issue

whereas if you're coming over there as an American with an American bank

account an American debit card an American credit card you're not going to

be able to use it in all of these places and the places that won't take credit

cards are actually kind of surprising they were surprising to me at least

so there's entire grocery store chains that just will not accept credit cards

there was a museum in mind that didn't accept credit cards there every time I

went to go get my haircut or to get my nails done those places didn't take

credit cards so just don't ever assume this place will take credit cards surely

it's a grocery store because they might not and you're going to kind of be

rushing to find an ATM to pay for whatever you want to pay another great

piece of advice that I got was how to tip and how much to tip because the

tipping culture between Germany and the u.s. is very different so in the u.s.

you're always going to tip between 15 and 20 percent and to do the tipping

you're probably either going to leave the cash on the table for the server to

be able to get it or whenever you get your credit card transaction receipt

there will be a little slot for you to physically write how much you want it to

then you take your food bill plus the tip and that's the total that will be

charged to your card well it's completely different in Germany so first

of all this 15 to 20 percent thing is not how you do it you're basically just

going to round up and depending on how much the bill is you might only round up

to the next zero if it's like just like a cup of coffee or maybe you'll ran up

to three additional euro for your food bill and that's because German servers

actually make a livable wage so they don't depend on tips in order to make a

salary whereas in the US the server's depend on your tips to make that livable

wage also you're not going to just leave it on the table the server will actually

come to your table for you to make your payment social or he will hand you the

bill let's say it's 1795 and you're gonna pay with credit card so you hand

them the credit card they have the handheld credit card machine and you'll

say 20 euro and that person will know ok they're gonna tip me 2 euro and 5 cents

and they actually punch in 20 euro and they run it as 20 euro and that's it or

if you're paying in cash let's say you hand them a 50 and you say 20 euro

they'll just give you 30 euro back that's it that's how you do the tipping

right then and there in one smooth transaction another thing I was told

about was how the fun system works and there's a bunch of things I could talk

about but I want to focus on best so if you go to a fest in Germany or a wine

market or whatever and you want to get a glass of wine they'll have the prices on

there let's say it's 5 euro and so you pay 5 euro but not just are you paying

for the wine with that 5 euro but you're also putting a deposit down on the glass

that the wine is being served to you in so you drink the wine and you can keep

the glass maybe it's some sort of commemorative glass like the Christmas

markets all have like you know fancy in engravings or what is it called whenever

it's inscripted in there you know what I mean so you can keep those maybe as a

souvenir or if you want to get the funds back you just take it

to the 10 or the booth that you bothered I and they'll give you your two euro

back and that's a pretty good thing to know so going along with the whole

discussion about fest another thing that I was reminded of when I moved to

Germany was that you can drink in public there and that probably sounds a little

strange to any Germans watching this but if you've been raised in the US you're

very ingrained in this idea that you can't drink in public because it is

against the law I mean there are a few cities in specific states that will

allow you to drink in public like New Orleans and Butte Montana or to that I

remember mostly but in Germany the whole country it's free game for you to be

able to just grab a bottle of wine sit with some friends in a park and share in

public and it's not a big deal or if you go to a fest and you buy a glass of wine

you can walk around the whole town with that glass of wine and it's not an issue

in the u.s. if you have some sort of fest there's going to be like a

perimeter set up with people you know posted to make sure that you're not

bringing alcohol outside the premises because it's illegal so it's kind of

like a really cool cultural aspect of Germany that I fully appreciated and it

was nice for someone to remind me like hey you can do this I know it feels

weird but you're allowed to do it and another thing with drinking is how to

properly Prost in Germany so if you're in Germany and you're sharing some

alcohol with some friends you're having some drinks together you're going to

first of all it's very customary to Prost at all and when you Prost you're

going to clink glasses and make eye contact with whoever you're clinking

with otherwise it's really bad luck and I started paying attention to this alive

both whenever I was with like American friends or when I was with German

friends and it's kind of funny like the difference between them so Americans are

much more prone to like to look down at their drinks when they're cheering or

posting Germany they won't look up at each other

and I don't know if it's because we're scared we're going to like spill our

drinks or if we want to make sure that we're like clinking correctly I'm not

really sure why we do it the way we do but Germans will very actively look up

and Prost with confidence while clinking glasses I actually have one more thing

to give advice on regarding a fest one specific fest which is the famous

Oktoberfest so I got the overall concept of Oktoberfest but for one I didn't

realize that it's not in October it's actually at the very end of September so

that was good to know and that my friend told me hey when you go to Oktoberfest

don't be one of these idiots walking around and like jeans and a t-shirt make

sure you wear a dirndl because that's what all the Germans will be wearing and

I was kind of like on the fence like like really though like everyone's gonna

be wearing dirndl and later hosen and when I got ready to go to Oktoberfest I

remember being in my hotel room and unique and feeling a little silly but

when I got there I was like okay yeah everyone was buying dirndl and later

Hosea and I would have felt really silly if I had been wearing like normal

clothes so I'm super thankful that my friend told me to make sure I wear a

dirndl another great piece of advice I will share with all the ladies out there

is do not wear high heels this probably goes for most of Europe but definitely

Germany there are a lot of cobblestone sidewalks and streets and if you're

walking around in high heels the chances of you taking your little heel into a

corner of stones is really actually really high and you're going to either

ruin your shoes I have a pair of really beautiful leather patent shoes that I

completely destroyed on the sidewalks in Mainz or you're going to probably break

your ankle or your leg so just don't wear them you can wear wedges those are

no problem I wore wedges all the time but just leave your heels at home stay

in the small hotels that was another piece of advice I got like there will be

big you know a hotel chains and a lot of the bigger cities like Berlin or Dresden

and or Mike's had you know big hotels but there will be a lot of smaller

hotels stay in those hotels guys they're actually really nice I feel like in the

u.s. we're really prone to always get these like big name chain hotels because

you don't really know what you're getting into when you stay in like a

small family establishment but every single one that I stayed in in Germany

was perfectly clean impeccable it had a lot of charm to it and they would just

be like these adorable little hotels and considerably cheaper than like the

bigger names like the Hyatt or Hilton or whatever else you'll find there so I

would highly recommend and it was great advice that I got it was to stay in the

little hotels don't shy away from them they're gonna be great

but also be aware of the fact that they might not have 24-hour concierge at

these places so whenever you booked a hotel make sure you're paying attention

to when the desk hours are and if you're going to arrive after the desk hours or

need to leave before the dust hours you need to like communicate that with the

hotel and figure something out that got me once when you're in Germany you need

to know that you either follow the rules or you should expect to be scolded or

corrected and it's part of that German directors culture that I think a lot of

Germans aren't even really aware that this is perceived as being something

different at least to Americans and I really don't want to intimidate any

American from going over to Germany but just to understand that like if you

cross on a red light don't be surprised if a German comes over and corrects you

to tell you that you shouldn't cross on the red light that's just the way it is

so along the same lines like the German directness that I was told about the

German stare and again I don't think a lot of Germans realize that this is a

thing in the u.s. we're pretty much taught that staring is

and not to stare I mean I can think of like so many times I've heard a mom like

tell their child don't stare that's rude but in Germany there's a lot of Germans

that have no problem with staring and it's just from what I understand is out

of curiosity they're not trying to be rude it's not seen as that it's just a

sign of their curiosity so if I would walk down the street wearing like

athletic attire which is rare in Germany usually people change at the gyms they

don't wear their athletic attire Alton lists are actively running I would get

stared at and it was something that I had to get used to even though I was

like told about it before I ever even went to Germany

because again like I've been brought up in a culture where you just don't stare

and if you do you're you're rude and it's not like that in Germany so if you

go to Germany and you see a lot of people staring at you don't worry about

it they're not being rude they're not being mean they're just curious about

whatever you're doing or wearing or maybe you're speaking English or

whatever the last thing I will talk about is my feeling of safety in Germany

when I found out that I was moving to Germany I started doing a lot of

research and I was already well aware of the immigration into your the mass

immigration but I was reading these news articles and watching these things with

like a whole different perspective knowing that I was going to be living

there and I watched them really I would say disturbing and scary documentaries

on YouTube or Facebook or wherever I was finding them the painting like a really

harrowing picture of what Germany looks like with all of this you know the

impact of this mass immigration and I remember talking to someone about it

and they had lived in Germany and they looked at me in there like Kelly don't

don't worry about it you were gonna feel safe like don't worry and I was like

yeah okay I mean you're it was a guy so I think that women and men look at

safety very differently so when I went over there I was a little nervous and I

will say that for the year and a half that I lived in Germany there was not a

single place that I went that I felt unsafe and I'm talking like there wasn't

even like a portion of a street in a city where I felt uncomfortable and I

didn't go everywhere in Germany I think it would be really difficult to do that

in year and a half while holding a full-time job but I clocked in some

kilometers on my car I drove back and forth and up and down across the country

and I took the train to many different cities I saw a lot and like I said at no

point did I feel unsafe in Germany no matter who I was with if I was

completely by myself no matter what I was wearing and no matter what our of

time it could have been 2:00 in the morning 3:00 in the morning it could

have been you know early morning hours it doesn't matter I felt completely safe

the entire time that I was in Germany and I put a lot of value on that because

I've lived places where I haven't felt safe and it is it's it affects you so

I'm happy to say that I felt really safe in Germany and I hope that anyone

planning to go over there and live or go as a tourist I hope that you guys feel

safe too all right guys that's all I've got for you today that was some of the

best advice I got about moving to Germany if you have some other advice

maybe live in Germany as an expat or maybe you're German yourself put it in

the comments below I'd be interested to read them and I'm sure

some other viewers would be too thank you so much to all of my patrons you

12 Scariest Encounters Made By YouTubers - Duration: 15:24.

Whether it's with vicious animals, human psychopaths or the paranormal realm, none

of these encounters would have become famous without the assistance of YouTube.

12.

Downright Dives is a 3-man team of dumpster divers who go through the trash looking for

discarded valuables.

They comb through a series of dumpsters without incident, mostly coming across old rotten

food.

They're searching through the last couple of dumpsters when one of them makes a startling

discovery.

Neither of his two friends believe that there could be somebody lying at the bottom of the

dumpster.

They just have to take a closer look for themselves . . .

The camera doesn't get a clean shot, but you can hear a man pop up from underneath

the boxes and scream that he owns everything inside of the dumpster.

According to the description, it was a homeless man who continued to come after them and even

got into a physical altercation off camera.

I'm on the fence with this one since we never get a chance to see the homeless person

in question.

Also, living in a dumpster is a stereotype about homeless people that is rarely true,

so this encounter is very unlikely.

Let me know if you agree.

11.

Core Son is a YouTuber who claims that his old apartment was haunted to the point where

he had to leave.

When he finally moved into a different location, it didn't take long for the spirits to follow

him there, too.

Core Son claims to have made this video after feeling a familiar presence watching over

him while he was eating a meal.

He studies the chair for a bit and decides to challenge the spirit's power.

After this, he quickly ran upstairs and uploaded the video to YouTube.

Granted, we could not see the entire chair from this angle, so I guess there could be

something wrapped around the chair legs to make it look like it was moving on its own.

This would require another person to pull off though, and as far as I can tell, Core

Son was completely alone.

We'll probably never know for sure, but I would like to hear your best guess as to

the legitimacy of this video.

10.

Emma is too afraid to come into her parents' room because she says she can see a bad man

in there with them.

When her mother asks to point where the person is, she indicates that it's in a dark closet

which is open.

The mother examines the closet.

She doesn't see anything, but she seems to get an uneasy feeling that matches her

daughter's emotions.

The child turns around and freezes.

She is too afraid to move without her mother following closely behind her.

There's something about this video that seems very dark and genuine.

Obviously the mother felt a presence too or she would not have uploaded this video with

the title of "2 year old girl sees ghost again".

Overall, more information is needed before I make a final judgement but let me know if

you think Emma was seeing something that her parents could not on that night.

9.

In 2014, a YouTuber was finishing up a hiking trail in Fernie, British Columbia, when an

unwanted intruder decided to make him its intended prey.

A wild mountain lion emerges from the tall brush with its head low to the ground, ready

to pounce.

The man instinctively turns and runs, but then he regains his wits and stops to confront

his aggressor.

The young mountain lion seems surprised at this bold reaction, but then it quickly blends

into its surroundings again and regains the upper hand.

Eventually it's spotted again a few more times as it prowls along the trail close by.

The two eventually end up staring at each other from a short distance as the showdown

comes to a tense close.

The mountain lion seems unsure and eventually wanders off.

It may have lost for now, but in another year or two, I'm sure the animal will have undoubtedly

grown into much larger threat.

8.

MegaSkelly11 is a YouTuber who has been experiencing all sorts of strange paranormal activity throughout

their home.

Sometimes it's something simple like a potted plant wobbling on its own, and sometimes it's

much more malevolent.

MegaSkelly11 claims that this is a poltergeist, and after reviewing this video, I have to

agree.

There's just too much going on at once to easily fake in my opinion, and I see no indication

that this is a setup.

Let me know if you believe this is real or if you have a better explanation.

7.

McJuggerNuggets is a famous YouTuber who comes home one day only to find evidence of a serious

break-in.

Some of his possessions are missing, things that he is sure were in his room earlier before.

He argues with his father for a bit about the likelihood of someone breaking in, but

the security video does not lie.

Sure enough, some stranger cases the house by knocking on the door a few times, even

going so far as trying the knob.

Soon he uses a long tool to pry open a window and reaches inside to quickly scoop up a nearby

hard drive before taking off.

Much to McJuggerNugget's amazement, the window was right next to his bed.

He soon comes to the sickening realization that this person, who was perhaps a stalker,

literally reached into his room to retrieve a hard drive full of unedited video content.

Who knows what this deranged fan will come back for next time.

6.

Michael Edelstein recorded this bizarre encounter with his phone in 2016 to show that it was

haunted, and many people have agreed with him ever since.

What's really weird is how the phone apparently waits until Michael is almost finished recording

and then hits a completely different number followed by two sevens and an asterisk.

I can't say for sure if this is paranormal or not because it could just be a glitch or

maybe even water on the screen.

Let me know if you've ever had anything odd like this happen to your phone.

And if you are a phone technician, tell me what the odds are of this happening to such

a wide variety of buttons at once.

5.

A YouTuber named Sans The Skeleton 101 thinks he may have seen a monster lurking in his

yard.

The out-of-focus object looks like it could be a creature on all fours, but I'm just

not sure.

It doesn't really seem to be moving and could just as easily be a pile of dirt.

Whatever it is, it sends Sans The skeleton 101 running back into his house in terror.

Let me know what you think it was and if you think he was really in any significant danger

at the time.

4.

Carter is making a YouTube video to show off his expensive new roof, but he accidentally

catches something lurking inside his home during the process.

A giant, oversized face is staring directly at Carter through his own window on the left-hand

side.

You can see its eyes, mouth and nose have been shaded perfectly to form a ghoulish expression.

I've watched this video many times and I still can't tell if this is truly the face

of a ghastly creature or just a reflection of trees outside.

If it is a reflection of a tree, then I find it weird how the leaves or branches don't

seem to be moving at all.

It really does look like an unblinking face staring straight ahead.

Carter does not seem to notice and continues filming for quite some time.

3.

It's a rainy day in Bradford, Pennsylvania, and a YouTuber named Bull Dawg is with his

girlfriend in the backyard.

They are taking random videos and talking about nothing in particular when they encounter

something that makes them think they are not so alone after all.

Some sort of smoke or mist appears to briefly transform into the shape of a person taking

a few brisk steps and then fully dissipates.

Bull Dawg says it looked like someone who was running, and I agree that it does resembles

the upper torso and shoulders of someone in motion.

With that said, it looks to me like the figure may also be lacking a head.

2.

Papa Jake is returning to a haunted sewer tunnel that he explored once before, but this

time it's 3AM.

He and his friends think that a large sewer creature might be down there, so they bring

a lot of extra equipment like motion sensors and night vision to capture it on video.

Their first encounter happens not in the tunnel itself, but rather in the surrounding woods.

What appears to be some type of a humanoid creature scampers across the forest floor

on all fours.

Only one of the two friends see it, so I guess he manages to convince himself that it was

nothing and they continue to press on.

A short while later they finally locate the tunnel.

They are very deep inside when a strange and haunting moan convinces them to get out of

there fast.

The noise is coming from the same direction they just came from, so Papa Jake and his

friend try to outrun the creature at a fast pace, taking blind turn after blind turn for

a full five minutes.

It isn't long before they find themselves wandering down an oversized pipe, completely

lost.

Whatever is chasing them, on the other hand, apparently knows every last twist and turn

of this labyrinthian cesspit and finds them quickly.

At this point, they all stopped recording to run for their lives.

Papa Jake now feels he has sufficient evidence of the rake, and I doubt he will ever go back

there.

As always, be sure to let me know if you think this is real or not based on what you've

seen.

Their reactions all seem very genuine, but there's always the possibility of special

effects.

1.

Cryptid Hunter and two of his friends are returning to a cave that they believe to be

haunted.

This time they are using a paranormal investigative technique that I have never seen before.

They bring dolls with them into the cave that they believe are already haunted.

They want to see how the spirits in the dolls react to the spirits in the cave.

They also use long thin rods that the spirits can use to respond to questions.

Then, the spirits in the cave apparently decide to skip the rods and make their presence known

in a much more physical way.

The smooth cave walls probably have little traction, so the doll could have just fallen

over on its own.

Then again, maybe it was really pushed over by an unseen spirit.

Clearly the doll somehow moved, so those are the only two explanations I have.

Let me know which one you think it was.

Overhyped Films That Were Never Released - Duration: 8:48.

Hollywood runs on hype, from a project's earliest conception to its world premiere and beyond,

the entire movie industry depends on getting audiences as pumped as possible for their

blockbuster product.

In fact, there's an entire industry within the industry, filled with people whose jobs

depend on getting the word out.

Unfortunately, the folks whose job it is to market and hype up a film aren't always on

the same page as the people tasked with actually making a movie.

Announcements are made, interviews are given, and all of a sudden, the film just up and

disappears from the studio's release schedule.

It can happen for all sorts of surprising reasons, but regardless, all we're left with

is the disappointment of knowing we'll never get to see the movie we were promised.

Here's a look at some overhyped films that quietly disappeared from the release schedule.

Dark Universe

The Dark Universe will probably go down in Hollywood history as a prime example of the

high risk a studio runs of being embarrassed by overhyped films.

In an attempt to mirror the Marvel Cinematic Universe's interwoven narratives and massive

box office success, Universal Studios looked to their own crossover-worthy characters,

classic monsters like Dracula, the Wolfman, and more.

While it wouldn't be the first time Universal had made crossover movies, the ideas behind

this new franchise seemed to borrow more from superhero and action movies than the gothic

influences of their early 1900s forebears.

Universal even invested in a special "Dark Universe" logo to introduce films that would

take place in this universe.

So...

"What happened?"

Unfortunately, despite all-star casting like Tom Cruise in The Mummy and Johnny Depp as

the the Invisible Man, the Dark Universe was quickly derailed when The Mummy bombed at

the box office.

Bride of Frankenstein, which was rumored to star Angelina Jolie in the title role, was

quickly taken off of Universal's schedule, and, despite a massive launch announcement

with a Photoshopped lineup of the stars, the creatives behind the would-be franchise moved

on to other projects.

It looks like the real dark universe was ours, all along.

Divergent: Ascendant

The Divergent adaptations seemed like a sure thing.

Based on the hit Young Adult novels by Veronica Roth, the dystopian action series seemed like

the natural heir to the Hunger Games hysteria that dominated the box office.

Unfortunately, while the first two films managed to earn a respectable return on investment,

they weren't quite as bankable as the studio might've hoped.

Even so, Lionsgate went forward with splitting the final film into two, like Harry Potter,

Twilight, and The Hunger Games before it, and that decision turned out to be a huge

mistake.

Allegiant was only loosely based on the book version of the same name, and not only were

the reviews for the film scathing, but fans failed to turn up at the ticket booth as well.

As a result, the would-be final film, Ascendant, fell apart at the seams by losing its director

and cast, and then being shunted off to the television circuit, where it's remained in

production limbo.

World War Z 2

Based on the gripping bestseller by Max Brooks, World War Z came loaded with a passionate

fan-base, including some of Hollywood's most prestigious actors.

After a bidding war against Leonardo DiCaprio's production group Appian Way, Brad Pitt's company

Plan B optioned and produced the film adaptation of the apocalyptic zombie thriller.

Unfortunately, things start going downhill from there as the film became an entirely

different kind of disaster movie.

After the initial filming process was complete, the flick went through a massive reshoot process

that basically replaced the film's entire third act and made it unrecognizable to readers

of Brooks' version.

Although it still went on to score a solid half-billion dollars at the box office, the

film's ballooned production costs ate into those profits.

A sequel was still announced by Paramount Pictures, due to the bounty of book material

left to bring to the big screen.

"We have so many ideas and so much information that we think we've got a lot of stuff to

mine from."

However, the film's release date has continued to be bumped back again and again to the point

that it seems like director David Fincher might never get a chance to resurrect this

franchise.

Terminator Genisys 2

The first Terminator: Genisys left a lot to be desired.

For instance, the movie was straight up incomplete and basically relied on the eventual sequel

to complete the narrative.

Unfortunately, planning for a sequel can backfire if the released movie underperforms, and that's

exactly what happened with Genisys.

The film did have some serious star power with Emilia Clarke and the return of Arnold

Schwarzenegger, who made good on that promise …

"I'll be back."

(Please Arnold, don't.)

However, the movie underperformed in the US and fell short of its production budget by

about $60 million.

What was meant to be the birth of a new trilogy turned out to be a non-starter, and the second

installment was removed from Paramount's upcoming releases, paving the way for yet another adjustment

of franchise continuity with a sequel that would ignore everything after Judgement Day.

Fantastic Four 2

Years before anyone seriously believed Marvel Comics could spin off anything approaching

a cinematic universe, the venerable publisher fell on hard financial times and ended up

selling off the film rights to some of their most popular characters.

Spider-Man landed at Sony and the Fantastic Four and X-Men landed at Fox, and without

access to those heroes, the fledgling Marvel Studios turned to characters like Iron Man,

Captain America, and Thor, which were at the time properties that had never achieved quite

as much mainstream popularity.

Of course, this all ended up working out pretty well for Marvel, and for Fox and Sony, both

of whom found themselves sitting on adaptation options that had never been more valuable.

As a result, Spidey and the Fantastic Four have both spawned multiple franchises, but

while Sony has managed to hit box office paydirt with its Spider-Man movies on more than one

occasion, the Fantastic Four films have had a rougher go of it.

Fox's first pass at the franchise made money, but the reviews were less than kind, prompting

a reboot in 2015, and that attempt fared even worse than its predecessors, earning godawful

reviews and the worst grosses of any theatrical release in the series.

Still, there's no benefit to holding film rights you can't use, so Fox executives consistently

reiterated that a sequel was definitely happening, regardless of what happened with the first

film.

Considering that the latest release date promised a June 2017 arrival, we can pretty safely

assume that the sequel won't be happening.

The Disney-Fox merger deal might mean that Marvel's First Family will get another shot

at a movie release sometime, although it likely won't be anytime soon, and it won't be a follow-up

to any past Fantastic Four film...which is probably just as well.

Sinister Six

Sony didn't just own the rights to Spider-Man; the studio also laid claim to an assortment

of other characters related to everyone's favorite friendly neighborhood web-slinger.

In order to compete with Marvel's growing domination of the superhero genre, Sony announced

plans in 2014 to make a Sinister Six movie, to be directed by Drew Goddard.

The film's conceit was fairly ambitious, bringing together six of Spidey's most famous villains

together as the titular supervillain team.

Promotional materials were even created to build fan fervor following the release of

The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Sadly, while everyone involved seemed invested in making Sinister Six a reality, the Amazing

Spider-sequel underperformed, paving the way for a deal between Marvel and Sony that was

struck just in time to reboot the character again with Tom Holland in the role, and have

Spidey make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut alongside Captain America and Iron Man

in Captain America: Civil War.

It led to all sorts of Spider-Man goodness, but the collateral damage of the deal included

Goddard's Sinister Six.

Sony hasn't given up on Spider-spinoffs, and although subsequent plans to continue building

out the character's shared universe have hit some snags of their own, fans can still look

forward to a big-screen solo outing for at least one of Spider-Man's most popular foes.

Uncharted

When it comes to experiences that feel like watching an Indiana Jones movie, you're mostly

limited to getting a doctorate in archeology or going on the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland.

Still, the Uncharted video game series manages to scratch the particular itch of watching

a handsome and dashing adventurer run around giant monuments while flirting with pretty

girls and almost getting killed by amoral thieves.

The series follows Nathan Drake as an artifact hunter whose adventures in picturesque locations

and grand action set pieces seemed absolutely made for the big screen.

While movie adaptations of video games tend to be poorly received, adapting Uncharted

seemed like a perfect continuation of the pulpy adventure movies that Indiana Jones

had traded in.

Unfortunately, the movie ran through a series of difficult turnovers as director after director

left the project.

Joe Carnahan was tapped to write the script in 2016, but the Uncharted movie was removed

from Sony's upcoming release list only a few months later.

Still, fans don't need to lose hope completely; a since-deleted Instagram post by Tom Holland

seemed to imply that he would be starring in the long-awaited movie.

Much like any archaeologist, fans will just have to wait and see if what comes out of

the ground is treasure...or trash.

Mississippi's Last Abortion Provider - The Opposition w/ Jordan Klepper - Duration: 6:50.

As conservatives, we know that getting an abortion

is as easy as getting a cab in New York City.

Cab!

Roe v. Wade has resulted

in some of the most permissive abortion laws

anywhere in the world.

Do you want abortion on demand?

-Abortion on demand... -Abortion on demand...

Yet somehow the liberals complain

that we've gotten in the way of their abortion on demand,

and now they won't stop talking about the state of Mississippi.

While you weren't looking, the governor of Mississippi

is trying to make his state

the hardest place in America to get an abortion.

Now we don't have access

to safe and legal abortion services.

Clearly Republicans are trying to take us back

from unsafe abortions in this country.

GREY: Time to fly south to expose these lies.

So we came to the only Planned Parenthood in Mississippi

to show you just how easy it is to get an abortion.

In what's sure to be

The Opposition's shortest field piece ever.

-All right. -(both grunting)

Shouldn't have packed all these Bibles.

Hey. So, we'd like two abortions, please.

-Two abortions now. -Yeah.

Here in Mississippi, the landscape

-that the politicians have created -Uh-huh.

have made it so difficult

that places like our health centers

can't provide a full range of services.

-Okay, I feel like that was a very loaded no. -Yeah.

That's correct.

THURMAN: So, according to Planned Parenthood's Staci Fox,

this clinic doesn't offer abortions.

GREY: But why?

States are introducing more bills

to prevent access to care.

Right here in Mississippi,

the state legislature passed a bill

banning abortion at 15 weeks.

I think these laws are tactics to start to chip away

access to what the Roe v. Wade decision set

as the legal standard in the United States.

THURMAN: If Mississippi has made it so hard to get abortions,

how come there's a clinic right next door?

GREY: So we infiltrated what was obviously an abortion provider

based on the fact that their website

clearly targets people seeking abortions.

We don't do abortions,

and we don't refer for abortions.

-(record scratches) -BOTH: Wait, what?

The building next door is a fake women's health center,

and these centers that exist all over the country

provide women distorted information

and often inaccurate information.

That is, like, the worst prank but, like, the best prank.

It's like Jackass but for your reproductive rights.

THURMAN: In Mississippi, there are more

of these fake women's health centers,

aka crisis pregnancy centers,

than there are Starbucks.

But it's still so easy.

If you're a woman who wanted to access abortion care

in the state of Mississippi, unfortunately,

you'll have to drive to Jackson, Mississippi.

THURMAN: Okay, there's only one clinic left in Mississippi.

You know what that means.

BOTH: Road trip!

GREY: And who could possibly have a problem

with a road trip?

Imagine if you were a woman who had a job

GREY: I don't. Show's canceled.

Or needed to put the children

that you had at home in childcare.

THURMAN: Ew, I don't have kids.

And the financial resources to drive 100 miles.

THURMAN: We're rich, Staci. Quit playing.

The 100 mile trip

from Hattiesburg to Jackson flew by.

GREY: And just imagine, some lucky ladies

get to have an even longer road trip.

Now that we've made it

to the state's only abortion clinic,

we can show you how easy it is to get abortions on demand.

THURMAN: As soon as we get past a few brave protesters.

We are here for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I would absolutely counsel people

that the Lord says all fornicators

have their place in the lake of fire.

And so we are here crying out for people to consider

that we stand before a holy and righteous god.

You want to go back to when abortion was illegal

and no one had abortions.

-Oh, wait. -They had them.

But they were illegal and dangerous

-and they died. -People were dying. Yeah.

GREY: After making it past this guy and his sound logic...

Well, it's no different than at the Holocaust.

...we could finally go inside

with the help of a clinic escort

protecting women from protesters.

What a breeze.

THURMAN: After that, we could finally talk

to Shannon Brewer, the clinic's director,

about how getting an abortion was so freaking easy.

No, it's not... it's not that easy to get an abortion.

Um, you have to call, schedule an appointment.

GREY: To get your abortion on demand,

all you need is an appointment. Then...

You have to speak with a counselor about your options.

THURMAN: In this mandatory meeting,

a counselor is legally obligated

to read messaging from the state

designed to dissuade you from getting an abortion.

GREY: And then you're off to get your...

It's a two-visit process.

For (bleep) sake.

There's a 24-hour waiting period.

THURMAN: Even though the law requires women to wait 24 hours

to think about the choice they've already made,

it's still pretty on demand.

-Oh, hey. What did you get? -Okay.

I got some water, some fruit snacks,

-oh, and a gun. -Oh, cool.

Yeah, super easy to get here.

Thank God they don't have a 24-hour waiting period.

-Right? -Right?

GREY: And since you're far from home,

you'll need to take time off work

and spend money on a hotel.

This looks good.

Planned Parenthood wants America to start having more abortions

because that's liberation.

-I like this. Good choice. -Thank you.

THURMAN: And now it's abortion o'clock

as long as it's a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday,

because those are the only days

they're able to fly in doctors from out of state.

GREY: Our abortion's Rob Thomas

'cause this was so smooth.

Just ask this woman, who requested

that we conceal her identity.

She finished getting her own super-duper easy abor...

No, it wasn't easy at all.

THURMAN: Oh, goddamn it.

I already have four kids.

Me and my husband did not plan to have any more kids.

Took me two weeks to get the money together.

Within the first six to ten weeks,

it's $600 for the procedure.

When you are ten weeks or even a day over ten weeks,

it's $800, and you cannot do the pill.

You can only do the surgical procedure.

That's kind of expensive.

-Good thing everybody in Mississippi is rich. -Yeah.

No, the majority of women here are struggling

to, you know, make ends meet.

Everything's been stripped away from them.

The childcare has been stripped away,

Medicaid's been stripped away.

All of these things are being taken away from them.

The option to have an abortion is being taken away, also.

In talking to you right now, it sort of sounds like

if we do want to reduce abortions,

maybe we should have better child welfare services.

-Comprehensive health care. -Contraception.

-Better sex education. -Maternity-paternity leave.

THURMAN: Yeah.

(both laugh)

THURMAN: That's crazy. That's doing way too much.

-Just don't have sex. -I don't care about you

-after you're born. -We don't care.

After you're born, it's like, "Go on. Go on."

-Get a job. -Yeah.

I don't... I just don't usually talk to people

this, like, so stupid. I'm so sorry.

GREY: If we're so stupid, how come we're winning

and you have to deal with crisis pregnancy centers,

closed clinics, protesters, waiting periods,

misinformation, and countless other laws

getting in the way of you helping women?

THURMAN: Wow, maybe there are a few roadblocks

to getting an abortion.

But surely there were abortions on demand somewhere nearby.

NEWSMAN: Alabama's governor signed into law

tough new restrictions on abortion clinics...

NEWSMAN 2: Louisiana has just passed

some of the strictest abortion laws in the country.

NEWSMAN 3: Tennessee will be building a monument

to unborn children on state capitol grounds,

and don't even (bleep) try going to Iowa.
