To Come here In NH47, Turn to Road near Mudikode Juma Masjid

That is Chathamkulam Thalikode Road

This road Connects to this Pattathipara Water falls

To Come Mudikode...

Either Coming from Thrissur side or palakkad side on NH47..

After Mannuthy 6km, and after pattikkad 2km..

(mudikode between Mannuthi and Pattikkad)

Fro Thrissur town to Mudikode 12km

11.5km or 12km

From Mudikode to Pattathipara 4km

from Palakkad to mudikode

approximately 60km

To see and enjoy this ..

Many peoples coming from every city of kerala

This is near my home

Peechi dam, Kachithodu dam, orappankettu.. also near to us

but in this video

only showing Pattathipara. other will be upload in another time

when everybody coming here

they have doubt about root to here

because the original root to Pattathipara not in Google map. and added wrongly.

When coming Palakkad after Pattikad 6km turn left near Juma masjid Mudikode

Turn right

Then continue 700m to chathamkulam junction

then turn right to jeevanjyothy school jn.

turn right and continue 300m

turn left from this jeevan jyothi school junction

continue 1.2km to Thalikode Jn.

Go Slow in this Root

After this bridge turn Right

Turn right and continue 700m to next Bridge

Turn Right then take Left

Continue 600m to Pattathipara parking

Park Vehicles Here

Usually Going through canal

But if More Water Flowing in Canal Use the Small walkable bridge

use this small bridge if needed

we are going through canal

after 500m there is a bridge for vehicles but not benefit because ...

after cross canal there can travel 200m in vehicles

but two wheeler can go more..

but it also risky

it is plastic prohibited area

don't leave waste of food or other items

Ilish Bhapa Shorshe Diye—Bengali Recipe of Steamed Hilsa in Mustard-Coconut Paste—Easy Ilish Recipe - Duration: 4:42.

Ilish Bhaape (hilsa fish steamed in mustard)

250g (4 pcs) ilish machh, 3cm thick pieces; fish without roe (eggs) is fattier and ideal for this recipe

if your fish has eggs remove them, as they may not cook fully when steamed

40g mustard seeds, soaked in water for 2 hours

strain

green chillies 4 pcs

salt 22g

water 100g

grind mustard until completely smooth: the smoother the paste, the better, so take your time

you should see only tiny flecks

fresh coconut 40g (shave off the skin)

chop roughly

add to grinder jar

blend until coconut pieces have broken down

yoghurt 25g (beat until uniform)

steel tiffin box with tight-fitting lid

mustard, chillies, salt, coconut paste

beaten yoghurt

sugar 1/4 tsp, turmeric 1/2 tsp

mustard oil 20g

coat each piece of ilish with mustard paste

don't forget the cavities

REMEMBER: If your ilish has eggs, remove them. You can add them to your ilish bhaja (fry) or jhol (curry)

slit 4 more green chillies

one for each ilish :)

fasten the lid you can also cover your dish with thick aluminium foil

allow the fish to marinate for 15 minutes

place a stand (this came with our pressure cooker)

pour hot water: it should not reach above half the height of your container; there ís a danger of water seeping in

wait for it to come to a boil

cover and steam on medium heat for 15 minutes; don't overcook the fish!

rest, with lid on for 5 minutes
