Waching daily Jun 4 2018

Hi I'm Yolanda Wight I am 34 years old, I am married, I have 3 children.

So my mom was from Mexico City, my father Italian.

We lived in Huntington Beach, and it was kind of hard to feel fitting in, in the 90's there

was a lot of racism, lot of white supremacy in Huntington Beach, I was chased by a lot

of white supremacists in middle school

the weird thing is I don't like, it's Fountain Valley like where I live right now in Westminster

I feel like this is not anti-immigrant, it's actually embraced immigrants the most.

My son's school, the back side's in Vietnamese, everything's in English on one side

and the back side's in Vietnamese.

When we had a lot of Mexican immigrants when I was young, the backside wasn't in Spanish.

So then when the election came, I had my neighbors who were like about to hang trump signs in

their yard and I'm super uncomfortable.

I saw the line starting, I saw the separation starting,

I saw the anger starting, I saw my kids starting to be scared, I saw them starting to feel

like... wait, people don't like us because of our skin color? I don't understand

So my kids actually feel it. They're the ones who brought it up.

They actually asked me why does Trump not love us?

Why does he want to get rid of all the Mexicans what did we do?

Why are we so bad?

Why would you build a wall?

There is just hate, all I see is hate, all everybody talks about is hate.

It's just so much anger.

We don't need walls we need bridges with flowers on them and lights, you know?

Beautiful lit up bridges.

That's what I want.

There's power in numbers.

We are, we have the most numbers, I feel that we can and we want to make change.

I feel like everybody in California truly has the heart

and the love to make the change.

And they want it.

EVERY PARENT, TEACHER, & STUDENT NEEDS TO HEAR THIS! - Duration: 1:47.

There was a letter written from a principal in Singapore that I love and I

would love to share with all of you it would be cool if all you parents and

students were to read it. Dear parents the exams of your children are to start soon

I know you're really anxious for your child to do well but please do remember

amongst all the students who will be sitting for the exams there's an artist who

doesn't need to understand math. There's an entrepreneur who doesn't care about

history or English literature. There's a musician, who's chemistry marks won't

matter. There's a sports person, who's physical fitness is more important than

physics. If your child gets top marks that's a great, but if he or she doesn't

please don't take away their self-confidence and dignity from them.

Tell them it's ok, it's just an exam. They are cut out for much bigger things in

life. Tell them no matter what they score you will love them and you will not judge

them. Please do this and watch your children conquer the world. One exam

and one low mark won't take away ther dreams or talent and please do not think that

doctors and engineers are the only happy people in the world. With warm regards, the principal

6 Mindsets That Will Make You Magnetic (Animated) - Duration: 11:15.

We talked about it on the channel about the the eye contact, the body language,

and the tonality that conveys charisma but behind all of those things, there are mindsets.

And the mindsets are so critical because when you have them in line,

all of a sudden, you don't really have to think about the eye contact as much

and it just happens and your body flows naturally and your tonality is on point.

So in this video, what I want to do is cover these six most important mindsets

that will make you magnetic and this is a topic that I've covered before

but today, I am very happy because we have the help of After Skool to animate this

and make it much more interesting updating it for 2018.

And those mindsets are, starting with number one — no matter what, I will be okay.

In my opinion, this is the most fundamental mindset to charisma because so many people

live their life wrapped in this sort of mental loop of what-if questions.

"What if I speak up and my boss doesn't like my idea? What if I asked this girl on a date

and she says no? What if I'd leaned in for a kiss and even worse, she ducks away?"

"What if I were to ask this person to go just as a friend out to coffee and they said, 'I was busy that day'?"

All of these sorts of things stop people from acting, from speaking up, and from expressing who they really are.

Now, in the social context, what you need to realize is that the repercussions

for even the worst case scenario of every single one of these are not so bad.

You recover from these; if your boss doesn't like the idea, fine. Move on.

If a girl doesn't want to go on a date with you, it's probably better that you know

rather than spending six months trying to figure out which signals she's sending that indicates that she does.

So when you can get that mindset that, "No matter what, I will be okay,"

and I apply this to the social field — I don't necessarily mean that you need to extend this to jumping out of 40-storey buildings —

but socially, no matter what happens you will be okay.

That enables you to act with this sort of freedom that most people never ever experience.

And that means that you can risk social things in terms of cracking jokes,

expressing ideas, asking people, and expressing how you feel;

that means that you can risk that more than other people.

And when other people see that you seem to have this immunity to social pressure

and that you're expressing who you are more, they will naturally gravitate towards you

because that is a strength that most of us really, really want to have in ourselves.

The most fundamental piece is — no matter what happens, you will be okay.

If you ever find yourself stuck and not knowing when to speak up, come back to this belief; it is so critical.

The second belief — I care more about my character than about my reputation.

If you take that idea that your character is more important than how people perceive you,

what you realize is the way that you are matters more than the way that people think that you are.

So many people spend their lives trying to manage the opinions of other people.

"Will they think this if I do that? What happens if I do this? Even if I say the truth, they're still not gonna believe me."

When you focus on just doing the right thing, worrying about your own character,

and then letting people form opinions about you, what happens is people see

that you're not overly invested in controlling how they feel which makes them go,

"Wait a second. If they don't care so much about how I feel, I can trust them to be genuine."

So it's kind of paradoxical but if you focus on your character and if you stop investing

so much effort into controlling people's opinions of you, what tends to happen

is that not only do you feel that freedom to act and be who you are but people will have better opinions of you.

It sounds crazy but it is absolutely true.

The third belief and in my opinion, this is the one that is the least emphasized

and needs to be talked about much, much more and that belief is that

you have impeccable honesty and impeccable integrity.

Every single time that you tell a lie even if it's a little, little lie like,

"I'm on my way," when really you're still getting dressed and showering

or if it's a big lie, on the the type of lie that could potentially ruin a relationship

no matter what it is even if you don't get caught and even if there's no negative consequences

to the relationship, the problem is that you build a reputation with yourself when you lie.

And that reputation is that sometimes you say words that aren't true —

sometimes you are not to be believed and even if no one else finds out, you know this.

Now, this absolutely devastates your ability to speak with conviction

and this is critical to charisma; the ability to look someone in the eye and speak in a way

that says to them, "I believe, a hundred percent, the words

that are coming out of my mouth. The things that I say, I am fully standing behind."

When you lies sometimes, you hurt your ability to speak with conviction all the time

because in the back of your head, no matter what you're saying, you know that sometimes you lie

and that comes through in little gestures, they can come through in a flinch,

in eye contact, in a little waiver of the voice... whatever it is, that is going to break through.

So my recommendation to you if you identify as someone which is likely

that sometimes lies is to cut that shit out today.

And the truth is there's going to be a penalty pay.

If you've started building a life that is predicated on a handful of convenient lies that might

have seen worth it at the time, walking them back and exposing the truth can hurt.

My advice when I get questions about this — ninety to ninety-nine percent of the time is to do it anyway.

Are there situations around the periphery where it is just not worth it

where somebody's on their deathbed and you don't need to tell them that you don't believe in God

and because they do believe God? Sure. There are times that it falls under that circumstance but

for ninety to ninety-nine percent of those situations where you're not sure,

"Should I tell the truth or shouldn't I?" the answer, even if it's damaging to that relationship, is yes

because if you don't tell the truth, you are crushing your own self-esteem,

you're crushing your ability to speak with conviction, and to form genuine relationships in your life.

So that is a huge, huge belief and it requires action.

The fourth belief is that you do not need to convince any individual

of any particular belief, action, or anything; you don't need to convince anyone.

And I know this sounds crazy coming from this channel because if you've seen

some of our other videos, we talked about how to be more persuasive and

how to get people to want to do the things that you might like them to do.

So how do those two things square together?

The idea behind those how-to-be-more-persuasive videos

is that what you're learning how to do is to make your "asks" more persuasive —

is to increase the odds that someone wants to do the things that you would like them to do.

But the idea is not that you repeat that cycle over and over and over again

and badger someone trying to make them do the things; you never need anyone to do anything — you are simply asking them.

Now, where people run into trouble is when they have relationships in their life

that they feel like they absolutely need to get someone to work a certain way,

they need the boss to feel a certain way, they need a boyfriend or girlfriend to behave

a certain way or a particular boy or girl to like them back so they can date,

they need a family member to change their behavior... then you enter into neediness —

then you are entering into trying to convince when you've gone back and forth

over the same issue many, many, many times.

What happens then is that your charisma is, one, destroyed because you need something from that person.

The charismatic person simply asks and then decides, "Okay, if the answer is yes, great.

If the answer is no, can I deal with this person and this relationship in this way

that's acceptable to me or do I need to filter this person and this relationship out?"

This can be very, very hard.

I recognize this; when you're talking about all the friends and family members, this can be tough.

But if someone is not treating you the way that you'd like to be treated,

the answer is not to engage in this repetitive battle to try to force them to be something that they don't want to be.

The answer is either to accept that that relationship is going to remain the way it is or

to filter them out of your life and I realize that can be hard but once you start filtering —

those periphery relationships, maybe those old friends that don't treat you the way you'd like to be,

those old friends that don't push you in the way that you'd like to be pushed

or that look at new hobbies and new endeavors with a discouraging eye —

when you start to filter those out, you start to make room for the type of people that are going to lift you up.

So really, not convincing people and entering into that filtering mindset is so, so important.

The fifth mindset for charisma is that charisma and you need to start communicating your purpose more proactively.

I know that a lot of people spend a lot of their lives engaged in small talk.

People ask you what you do or you're from and you wind up with the same answer

telling them job title, this, that, "Yeah it's great oh we went on a vacation," blah blah blah.

Charismatic people have a purpose that they are fired up by —

and while they're not going to shove it down your throat —

when it comes up in conversation, they are willing, eager, and they will tell you what their purpose is.

And I realized this — I remember I was watching an episode of the Buried Life

which if you don't know it, these four guys who had this really long bucket list

and they would go through the bucket list doing these amazing things —

play basketball with Obama — and then they'd help other people do items on their bucket list.

And one of the ways that they got to actually play basketball with Obama

is by walking around the streets of Washington DC and just telling people,

"Hey, we've got this list. On this list is we want to play basketball with Obama.

Can you help us?" and before they know it, within days, they were in senators office,

they were making calls to Obama... long story short, months later,

Obama sees the TV show on MTV, invites them in and they get that dream.

This incredible thing happens but only because they've repeatedly put it out there.

This isn't the secret, this isn't the universe hearing... this is other human beings hearing,

being inspired by that that message and being inspired by that desire and then helping them.

So make sure to put your purpose out there into the world.

The sixth mindset is that you need to start going first.

Go there first. Be the first person to extend praise in a group of people that are not very comfortable doing that.

Be the first person in a new group of strangers who cracks a joke.

Be the first one in a new group who is talking and who shares something vulnerable.

When you are the person who is leading the group towards areas where you can connect more

whether that means being fun, extending praise, and being vulnerable,

all of those things signify leadership to other people and they signify bravery

because you're doing that thing that other people are nervous to do

and when you do that, you naturally are going to become the type of person

that other people want to be around and what you've found, I'm sure, in your own life

is that you'll be in a group of people, it'll be very solemn and one person will crack a joke.

And then somebody else gets comfortable and then another one will crack a joke

and all of a sudden, the whole group dynamic has shifted.

The same thing happens with vulnerability — somebody opens up and shares a story

about their life and the next thing you know, you're going back and you're connecting

on a level that was previously not available; people remember who the first person

to do that was and it makes them so much more endearing because they are the one taking the social risk.

Be the person who takes the risk who goes there first and of course, remember

that no matter what happens here, it will be okay; that is the fundamental belief.

So hopefully, these six to twelve, depending on how you count them, beliefs

can be very, very helpful in your own life; as you start to incorporate them,

you will find that they make a tremendous difference.

This doesn't mean to throw everything else to the side;

this means that you can still focus on your eye contact, your body language...

all of that stuff, but you want to be building the mindsets concurrently with those sort of surface level things.

And if you focus on one of each at a time that I find is the best way to do it.

So I hope that you guys enjoyed this video and especially if you enjoyed the

Gay Men Answer Sex Questions You're Too Afraid To Ask - Duration: 4:43.

- My parents are gonna flip.

(intense music)

(typewriter keys clicking)

- I'm a little nervous right now.

- Oh, boy, you guys are crazy, this is gonna be fun.

- This is a very important question.

- Does size matter?

I've never been intimate with a guy and got to the point

where I was like, oh my gosh, you're too big,

or oh my gosh, you're too small.

I mean, it's, you are who you are, and I think

you gotta end up like, you know, figuring it out.

Just have fun.

- For me, size doesn't matter, that won't be everyone.

I don't know, I think it's more about the intimacy

that you share with someone.

- How do you figure out who's topping or bottoming,

and do you ask beforehand?

I do ask beforehand, but I do it in a very unusual way.

I ask people if they prefer to be big or little spoon.

- I don't ask beforehand.

Oftentimes, I'm like super surprised at what happens

in the bedroom, and what people like.

- Does it hurt to bottom?

- It can hurt if the person is too big,

if there's not enough lube use.

- People also say it's the responsibility of the top to

prepare the bottom,

so that it doesn't hurt as much, get them more relaxed.

- It may hurt for the first two or three minutes,

but after that, it's pretty okay.

- How do you prepare yourself if you're bottoming?

You have to take your body signals into consideration.

Like if you just had

a lot of greasy food.

- I stick with things that are going to kind of help you

relieve yourself, fruits, vegetables, soups.

You can feel if your stomach is like backed up.

You'll kind of know whether or not it's going to be

a good situation or not.

- There are gonna be times when you have sex with somebody

and you get (bleep) in your (bleep).

And it is okay, it's a natural process.

It might freak you out, do not make them feel bad.

- Is there a technique to topping for anal sex?

Don't just like plunge yourself into someone,

like that's a no-no, that's gonna be a huge turnoff.

And taking your time, making sure that they're wherever

you are, you're wherever you are.

- A guy has a prostate, which a prostate is like

your little fun area in your butt.

And if you hit that prostate correctly, then the bottom

can have the most amazing orgasm ever.

Because I will say that the best sex is when

the other person is being pleased to their liking.

'Cause when you know that they're being pleased,

you can be pleased, as well.

- Do you ever compromise and top or bottom

when you don't normally?

It's not a really big problem because I like to do both.

- Initially, when I first came out, I was really dead set

on being a top, and I think one of my biggest hangups

was just kind of gender roles and masculinity.

Does being versatile or being on bottom,

does that encroach on my masculinity?

Ultimately, no.

- How often do you get tested if you're sexually active?

I get tested every couple months, because some STIs

don't show up on tests right away.

There can be weeks or sometimes even months

in between the time a person gets infected

and when they will show a positive on a test.

There's lots of STIs that sometimes,

you don't even have any symptoms.

- I get tested every three months.

I am on PrEP, or I'm on Truvada, so it is

an HIV preventative drug.

And one of the big things about that is that,

even when you're on it, you are required

to get your blood tested and everything every three months.

That is a really, really great way of me knowing my status,

knowing how I am.

- How do you know if the other guy has been tested,

and how would you go about asking him?

If you don't know if a person has been tested

and they've not told you, then ask.

And be willing then to also share your experiences

with being tested.

- I will say, no matter what, even if you ask somebody,

you're not positive about their answer.

I mean, just be cautious and think,

anytime you go into a sexual situation,

somebody could have anything, unless you see the paperwork,

and unless you see the proof, you're really not gonna know.

- What's the most important thing about sex?

To be really connected with someone else, and to have

that energy and that passion.

I think that's the most important thing with sex.

- Something that's important about sex

is consent and communication.

By consent, I mean, whether or not you truly wanna go

through the act of having sex,

and what kind of sex you wanna have with someone.

Or if they wanna have sex with you,

and what sort of sex that they wanna have.

- Read people's body language a lot.

People aren't always verbal about things.

They may be a little cautious, they may be a little wary,

but just take in mind other people's actions.

- Your gay sex is your gay sex,

and it's beautiful.

There's a space for you regardless of what you like

or what you don't like.

Just have fun, enjoy.

People Re-Create Prom Ads With More Inclusivity - Duration: 5:14.

- Yup, I'm gonna get laid tonight.

(laughing)

(pop music)

- So, I went to prom in 2010.

I reused my Sweet 16 dress because it was red

and puffy, and like the princessy thing

that I really wanted to go for,

and I was like, I'm gonna save money.

- So as a kid, I competed in a lot of piano competitions.

So I'd always need formal wear for that

so I just re-wore my piano gowns.

- I went to prom three years in a row.

I was a very hot commodity,

even though I didn't make out with anybody.

My first two years I wore dresses,

and then my final year I went in a tux.

- I didn't think that I saw myself in the prom ads at all.

I'm curvy, like I'm a thick girl,

so like you probably did not see any of that.

- Everyone else in my class would go to this one store

where all the dresses were super, super long,

like for very tall, skinny people.

- Going to prom was almost like following a cooking recipe.

You're doing all the right moves in parts and pieces.

- Today we're gonna be working with

a celebrity stylist who's going to be picking

a 2018 dress that matches our personal aesthetic.

- And we're going to be spicing up these

basic ass prom looks because lord knows they need some help.

So, let's go get glammed the fuck up y'all.

(snaps)

- I think the reason why I want to recreate this

prom ad today is because I feel that so many people

feel that their clothing is a shackle,

and not necessarily an extension

of their freedom of expression.

- [Woman] In most of these prom ads,

you see white, tall, skinny,

beautiful girls, and I am Chinese, very petite.

- [Ignasia] Stock photos are more diverse

than these prom ads.

I don't know where they're going with it.

If you can find a good meme with different ethnicities,

and like body shapes, then you can fuckin' pull a prom ad.

- [Rain] I typically don't wear dresses.

In this ad you'll see me wearing a dress,

but I want to wear it just to let people know that I can,

and that I'm still gonna be okay,

and I can walk out the door and feel free.

The clothing doesn't own me, and neither does society.

- [Woman] For the same reason why a lot of Asian folks

want to see Asian characters in TV shows and movies,

we want to see ourselves represented.

Not just in the professions that people assume that we have,

but in anything that we participate in.

And prom is very much a quintessential American experience.

I want to see myself represented in prom ads,

and I imagine other young Asian girls do as well.

- [Woman] There are so many black girls

and so many thick girls that are under referenced in it.

They just need that type of focus,

and that type of spotlight.

So if we can do that, that'll be great.

- [Rain] When people see the finished photo today,

I really hope that they see

the possibilities for themselves.

And I really want people to see that they

can be validated and loved no matter what they wear.

- [Woman] I definitely think 18 year old me

would want to see someone

who has the pixie haircut or shaved head.

That's the other thing with prom ads,

is that all the girls have super long hair.

(popping)

They look like princesses!

- [Woman] I hope that they see themselves,

but also, fabulousness, and glamour,

and the magic of prom, because you only have one.

- [Rain] If you're going to prom and you've spent four years

hiding who you are, or you feel like you've been

pushing yourself down or holding back,

this is the time to let go.

- [Woman] My hope for this video

and recreating this ad is that somebody else sees this

and is like, I can have colored hair,

and cut it how I want and wear whatever I want to prom,

that makes me feel the most me

and the most confident that I can possibly be.

Because prom is supposed to be about you.

- [Rain] This is marking a time in your life,

it's almost like a big party to celebrate the fact

that you're about to be a legal adult,

free to go out into the world

and be who you want to be.

- I absolutely love my outfit.

I feel, like, so confident, it's like so amazing.

I want to actually revive a Mariah Carey

Vegas look or some shit.

- Indifferent, I'm wearing boxers under it,

so I feel great, like I have a secret.

I like the fact that it's shiny, big fan of shiny.

The slit, it's a lot of leg for someone

who just is, you know, discovering puberty.

- I feel like a space queen.

I really love it.

Somebody said a space hooker, so either one of those.

Queen by day, hooker at night.

(laughing)

- Who does this in real life?

Who does it, who walks around

and suddenly is like, oh geez, I forgot something.

Oh good thing I'm wearing this dress 'cause I look good.

- [Christina] The three of us, we all have different styles.

- [Rain] And starting small is starting at all.

It's hard to change the whole entire thing at one time,

but just being here with these amazing people,

and seeing them so confident, I really do feel like

we made something that we should be seeing more of.

- [Ignacia] You should have a good fucking time.

Like that should just be your one aim.

- [Christina] Wear whatever you want, it doesn't have to be

any of these things.

- [Rain] Yeah, it could be a t-shirt and like, shorts.

- [All] Prom!

- Hey guys, what's up, I'm Hanna Dickinson

and I'm here hangin' and bangin' at Clusterfest.

I'm just looking for good food, fun times,

and creative ways to disappoint my parents.

(party music)

Hey what's up, I'm here with Ben.

I actually slept with a Ben last year

who never called me back,

so why do you think that is?

- Did you tell him your real name

or did you use the fake name that you told me

just before we started filming this?

- And what name was that?

- Bovis?

- So are you single, what's up?

- I am not single.

- What do you do?

- Finance for a tech company.

- No, that sounds great for me.

How much money do you make a year?

- I can't count that high, honestly.

- Are you single?

- No.

- You guys, we need to screen these people

before we talk to them.

- Are you single, what's happening?

- No.

- What does your girlfriend do?

- I'm not straight.

- So what's up Steph?

- Hungover.

- Are you dating anyone?

- No.

- That is a yes.

- Are there any comedians here you wanna make out with?

- A few.

Are they gonna watch this, I don't wanna say the name.

- Jon Stewart?

- No, Nick Kroll.

- He's definitely not watching this.

- Yeah I know.

- I'm here with very funny comedian Ali Siddiq.

How are you doing?

- I'm doing magnificent.

- Ooh, that's nice.

- I'm gonna say a bunch of weird stuff tonight.

- What do you consider weird stuff?

'Cause I say a lot of weird shit.

- But I don't like having sex with pregnant women.

- I don't think that that's weird.

I think that might be a universal,

I don't know if we're allowed to say that.

- There's a lot of men who like sleeping

with pregnant women.

- Well I look pregnant after a full meal, so,

that's a turn on for me.

- No, I would have sex with a slightly full woman.

I mean, we've eaten, and now we're trying to exercise.

- So have you guys ever had a threesome?

- No.

- No.

Yeah, no.

- That was like a nervous one,

like you have definitely fallen into one.

I've been kicked out of a threesome.

It's a long story.

I'm actually here with Action Bronson.

- My name's Rusty.

- So what do you do for a living?

- I'm retired.

- What did you do before?

- I actually was a cook.

- Does chef mean you deal drugs?

- Um, no, I'm on drugs.

- Are you single, or what's happening?

- Very single.

- That sounds like an invitation for me.

- Do you both work in tech?

- I work 100% in tech.

- You look like a guy who works in tech.

How much money do you guys make?

(both laugh)

- I make tech money.

- Yeah but I don't know what that means.

I make digital money.

- Enough to live in San Francisco.

- Ooh all right.

What about you?

- I don't make tech money.

- What do you do, are you a barista?

- No, a little bit better than that.

- Urban Outfitters?

What do you do?

- I work for the city.

- That's worse than Urban Outfitters.

(laughing)

Where's your girlfriend, I don't see her?

- She goes to a different school.

- How long have you guys been together?

- What time is it?

- Ooh, is that my window?

- You might have a little window of opportunity here.

- I mean, girl's revenge is always the worst,

you know what I mean?

I'm not looking to get chopped up into little pieces.

Do you guys have sunscreen on?

I can tell you're a ginger, you might need it.

- I don't, no.

- What part of your body would you like to be rubbed down?

Or I mean, protected?

Sorry.

- Just my neck and arms for now

'cause I'm pretty covered otherwise.

- All right, can we get some...

I'm really good with my hands.

I don't know, it's weird.

Do you wanna try to pick me up?

Wow!

- Yo, me and Hanna are out.

Hydra, the Serpentine Lake Creature - Greek Mythology - Duration: 1:28.

Hydra (Ὑδρα) Heedra

A giant snake-like creature that resides in the swamps of Lerna in the land of Argos.

It is said to have multiple heads which ranged between 5 heads to around a hundred.

It is known to attack with poisonous venom and has one immortal head out of its many

heads.

It is said to hide in an underwater cave which is apparently the entrance to the underworld.

Anyways, the famous story of the Hydra came from the 12 labours Heracles had to perform

because he killed his own wife and children.

Killing the Hydra was the second of the 12 labours he had to perform.

So Heracles went to Lerna with his nephew or servant or friend called Iolaus.

Knowing that the Hydra would emit toxins from its many mouths, Heracles and Iolaus covered

their mouth and nose with cloth.

During battle, with every head decapitated, two grows in its place making the battle appear

to be hopeless.

Realising that decapitation was not enough, Heracles got something hot either a torch

or an iron rod of somekind to cauterize the decapitated neck so no more would grow back.

But one of the heads was immortal and nothing could harm it so he had to permanently lodge

the head of the creature under a big boulder were it remained.

The Arabian Nights | The Story of the Husband and the Parrot - Duration: 3:33.

The Story of the Husband and the Parrot

A good man had a beautiful wife, whom he loved passionately, and never left if possible.

One day, when he was obliged by important business to go away from her, he went to a

place where all kinds of birds are sold and bought a parrot.

This parrot not only spoke well, but it had the gift of telling all that had been done

before it.

He brought it home in a cage, and asked his wife to put it in her room, and take great

care of it while he was away.

Then he departed.

On his return he asked the parrot what had happened during his absence, and the parrot

told him some things which made him scold his wife.

She thought that one of her slaves must have been telling tales of her, but they told her

it was the parrot, and she resolved to revenge herself on him.

When her husband next went away for one day, she told on slave to turn under the bird's

cage a hand-mill; another to throw water down from above the cage, and a third to take a

mirror and turn it in front of its eyes, from left to right by the light of a candle.

The slaves did this for part of the night, and did it very well.

The next day when the husband came back he asked the parrot what he had seen.

The bird replied, "My good master, the lightning, thunder and rain disturbed me so much all

night long, that I cannot tell you what I have suffered."

The husband, who knew that it had neither rained nor thundered in the night, was convinced

that the parrot was not speaking the truth, so he took him out of the cage and threw him

so roughly on the ground that he killed him.

Nevertheless he was sorry afterwards, for he found that the parrot had spoken the truth.

"When the Greek king," said the fisherman to the genius, "had finished the story of

the parrot, he added to the vizir, "And so, vizir, I shall not listen to you, and I shall

take care of the physician, in case I repent as the husband did when he had killed the

parrot."

But the vizir was determined.

"Sire," he replied, "the death of the parrot was nothing.

But when it is a question of the life of a king it is better to sacrifice the innocent

than save the guilty.

It is no uncertain thing, however.

The physician, Douban, wishes to assassinate you.

My zeal prompts me to disclose this to your Majesty.

If I am wrong, I deserve to be punished as a vizir was once punished."

"What had the vizir done," said the Greek king, "to merit the punishment?"

"I will tell your Majesty, if you will do me the honour to listen," answered the vizir."

GET TO KNOW MORE OF WHAT GOING ON DAILY MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY ON INSTAGRAM ALSO IM TALKIN DIGESTION - Duration: 6:34.

hey guys before I stop this video I want to let you guys know that if you follow

me on instagram you will sometime get more information that's going on as

father's where I'm at in my weight loss journey because on Instagram where

there's little link and all of my videos in the description the link is not only

just the name of my Instagram name the link redirects you to my Instagram

channel so I think you should follow me on there because I put pictures of what

I'm eating daily I also at times get on the scale and I take a picture of my

current weight um I haven't done that in about I don't know a week or two I don't

know but I usually put you know indications of how well that week is

going what I'm eating maybe what I bought from the store like

fruits and vegetables even like stuff that I eat when I'm not eating clean

like a bag of Lay's chips but you know you can follow me on Instagram and you

can see what's going on with me on just a couple of days ago I had put a sweat

best that I have bought it's a full body sweat vest that I use to suck in my

stomach it also helps you sweat obviously on your upper part of the body

while you're working out so I have put that on my Instagram page letting people

know that I was gonna use it the following day when I did my two hour

workout and I think that beside these videos you can also you know get to know

me even more what I'm eating what I'm saying what my day is looking like to

instagram so follow me on instagram the link is in the description at the

beginning of the description box of all of my videos and I would really like you

guys to follow me on there so with that all being said

I wanted to talk about digestion I would want to want to talk about digestion

because I feel like for me for you for anybody if our digestion was like when

we were a kid and we had three meals a day breakfast lunch and dinner and after

each meal if we removed whatever the body did not need after we ate those

foods losing weight would be a miracle not a miracle it wouldn't be a task let

me put it like that it wouldn't it wouldn't be a miracle because it

wouldn't even be a such thing is weight gain and kapha to call it a miracle

because we will be taking in what we need nutrition wise nutrients wise and

whatever the body did not need it would eliminate it the scale would say a

different tool and I think that on a weight-loss journey what people all have

problems with is the digestion a lot of people are on these weight loss journeys

and they don't even know what themselves they are actually losing weight but the

scale is selling them different that's why a lot of people say to do

measurements I myself don't really do any measurements I do my waist that is

all and I can also tell in my clothes I do use a skill because I feel like a

scale can give me an idea of whatever I may have ate from the day before that

food was not good for me and this is why I have the water retention or maybe

constipation or maybe those foods or foods that are not going to eliminate

well which is a bad bad thing when you eat foods that don't eliminate well

because once they sit in the toxin I mean in the colon toxins for long

periods of time those toxins from your colon absorbed back into the

and that's how you get the brain fog the anxiety the bipolar the mood swings the

tiredness the low energy is from that fecal matter poisoning your body all

over again and you're not removing it in a timely fashion it just builds up and

then if you're on a weight-loss journey and if you're documenting your weight on

a weekly or daily you know or monthly basis you're not getting an accurate

reading because you're always impacted with waste so one thing I do suggest is

you get a very inexpensive detox tea the one that I use that I think works better

than a lot of the more expensive ones like the smooth move tea I use smooth

move tea but a very inexpensive one it's the ballerina tea it comes in the green

box you can look it up on YouTube get your box of that and after your last

meal or before bedtime see one bag I don't use any sugar in my detox teas

there are detox tea and it doesn't really need any sugar because it's not

about how it tastes it's about detoxing because if your body

hasn't during that day past the number two a bowel movement from the foods that

you ate that day you want to make sure about that morning when you get up that

you have a bowel movement you want to stay on the removal of waste if whatever

you ate that day is not removed you want to make sure by that morning whatever is

in your system from the day before is out you shouldn't have three or four

days backed up like many of us are month's backed up because you're not

probably detoxing that stuff buddy so with that all being said please

subscribe to the channel like and share the video and make it a favorite and

I'll see you guys in the next video

The AA-12 Semi-Auto, Light 22's & Gemtech's DISMISSED! - TGC News! - Duration: 10:31.

This week on TGC News, the AA-12 Semi Auto is here, Super lightweight 22's and the Gemtech

vs Smith and Wesson Lawsuit gets dismissed!

Welcome back to another episode of TGC News, the only gun news show that covers things

you actually care about, my name is Jon Patton.

You guys DESTROYED the like button last week.

I said let's see if we can hit 3k and we blew past that.

Let's see if we can do 4,000 likes in the first 24 hours guys!

SMASH that like button if you like watching TGC News!

Now, how about some gun stuff?

First up this week is something absolutely glorious.

Let's paint a picture here.

Imagine there was a gun that was in a bunch of cool movies and was this super ultra mega

cool shotgun and it had a drum mag and was just this room clearing bad ass.

Imagine that same gun was featured on this TV show called future weapons.

And then imagine that you couldn't buy one because they were only ever made in open bolt

machine gun format.

That gun is real and it's the AA-12.

This is a proper bucket list gun for me, and now I can actually buy one because they are

FINALLY releasing a semi auto version.

This gun was originally designed in the 80s and I'm sure the idea of a civilian legal

variant was in the minds of the designers all along BUT we didn't really significant

progress in that direction until about 2016 when a company called BC Engineering stepped

in and made major steps towards this.

They also made this video that features some really bad gun handling to sell this to some

kind of larger manufacturer.

Either way, the companies behind getting this out to the public, Tactical Superiority and

Sol Invictus Arms have come out with 2 different models.

And both the standard model and a special edition named after one of the designers,

will only be limited to 1000 shotguns each.

They also won't be sold through normal methods and will only be listed on Armslist or Gunbroker.

Delivery is expected in December of this year and the price, oh, well it's only $3250 haha.

Anyone want to buy an arm or a leg?

The reality here is that this gun is a novelty but it's one of the coolest novelties around.

I want to know what you guys think.

Would you throw down a few months house payments on this thing?

Sound off and let me know!

And in YAY new guns news,

2A armament, makers of some of the lightest AR's on the market

have just released a couple new 22lr variants of those rifles.

Both the Balios lite and the Aethon tip the scales at a little over 3 and a half pounds.

I handled one at SHOT this year and I'm telling you now, it feels like an airsoft gun.

Blowing through the features, they come with a 16 inch fluted and threaded barrel, one

of 2A's Mlok handguards, Either the balios or aethon receiver sets, a BCM charging handle,

magpul grip, ALG trigger, some titanium parts in the lower and most importantly 2A armaments

own 22 bolt set up.

There are a bunch of 22lr conversions and dedicated guns out there on the market and

this is probably going to be the lightest one out there.

Now, my understanding is that they did this to overcome issues they found in some of their

competitors products, however, when I go to the website and look at the recommended ammo

list, it seems they may have some issues of their own with this set up.

I dunno about you, but I want a 22 that can eat anything i feed it.

Then again, sometimes there's a trade off for premium ultralight guns.

MSRP on these is 1399.

Look's like we're back at the bus depot, and it looks like the not-so struggle bus is going

to pull out first.

Franklin Armory, the company that sort of coined the term Binary Trigger, and makers

of the vaporware known as the Reformation, have acquired a company called Osprey Defense.

For those that are unaware, Osprey Defense makes one of the more unique piston systems

for AR15's on the market.

I actually purchased one of them a few years back and its run like a dream for me ever

since.

It's called the OPS416 and the kind of claim to fame is that the cup in which the piston

rides is actually curved to be tighter to the barrel.

It's a neat concept.

Anyway, Franklin Armory seems to be branching out and diversifying their business.

Likely because of the looming ATF regulatory changes and how that could affect their business.

As always time will tell.

And here comes the struggle bus.

According to a recent article on Guns.com the lawsuit filed by Gemtech against their

parent company Smith & Wesson has been dismissed.

I reported on this originally back in February.

Gemtech claims that big blue didn't stick to the deal in their purchase contract and

even squashed a major sales deal that would have netted Gemtech millions of dollars.

Well the district court in Idaho said that Gemtech failed to provide evidence as to why

the case should be argued in Idaho as opposed to Delaware which was outlined in the contract.

So essentially Gemtech sued them in the wrong state and the judge tossed it because of that.

The Judge stated that "The language clearly and unambiguously manifests that the state

courts of Delaware would be the exclusive forum for a case."

Gemtech says that that section is not binding.

And that boys and girls is why you read contracts before signing them.

Our Guntuber of the Week is someone that a few of you guys have suggested recently and

after digging into the channel, i'd say they have some really solid production, super clean

video and well delivered information.

That and the backdrops where he films are freaking gorgeous.

He is definitely not what I would call a gun channel as much as a gear channel BUT nonetheless

the videos are solid.

Say hello, to Kit Badger.

Definitely make sure you get subscribed and tell them TGC sent you and of course there

are links down in the description as always.

That is it for this week's show.

Guys if you disliked this video, hit that button, if you liked it, hit like, get subscribed

and consider supporting us via the links in the video description below.

We have a new amazon affiliate store as well as a link to purchase cool shirts just like

this one and of course links to find us all over your favorite social media platforms!

And as always, thank you all for watching, we'll see you soon.

FAQ Blends youtube - Duration: 2:05.

Hey guys my name is Michelle Fraederick with Matcha Konomi and today we are going

to answer a frequently asked question about matcha. In today's video we are

going to answer the question do we recommend matcha blends that have been

pre-mixed with other ingredients? This is a very important question because the

market is flooded with all types of matcha blends whether it be a latte mix,

or matcha tea with sugar matcha protein, and so forth. My short

answer is no but, with an exception. Remember that the quality of the matcha

powder is dependent on not only in the way that it's produced but also in the

way that is preserved and stored. Once the tencha, which is the dried meaty

part of the leaf, is ground into matcha, the powder is immediately packed in the

same place and sometimes in the same room that it was produced. From the time

that matcha is produced and packed it will technically have one year of a shelf

life, and that is assuming that it was stored in the correct method, which is

airtight packaging away from heat, light, and humidity, and typically in a cool

dark environment. Once the package is opened matcha should be consumed within

one to two months and continued to be stored properly. There is a strong belief

that poor packaging and exposure to elements would not only damage the

powder and the flavor but also make matcha lose its benefits, so if you are

buying a matcha blend are you sure that they are using a high-quality matcha?

Are you sure that the matcha was not exposed to excessive heat when going

through the mixing process through the Machine? And the expiration date on that

packaging, is that based on the date that it was ground or the date that it was mixed? If

you are buying a matcha blend in the US there is a good chance that it was

ground in Japan and then opened, mixed and repacked in the u.s. That is why I

would always recommend doing it yourself and not buying those pre-mixed products

unless you are confident in the company that you are buying it from that they

are knowledgeable about matcha and truthful about the quality of the matcha

that they provide. Thank you so much for watching. If you like this video give us

a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe future videos, and if you have a

question about matcha let us know in the comments!
