Isla de las Munecas, Mexico Their glass eyes and empty sockets stare at

you from every corner and height.

Suspended high in the canopies of the lush forestry of Isla de las Munecas, hundreds

of baby dolls are strewn about, as if to ward off an evil spirit.

Quite the opposite, actually.

While Isla de las Munecas, or the Island of Dolls, is a creepshow for pediophobics, its

origin dates back to the drowning of a young girl and the caretaker that found her, Don

Julian Santana Barrera.

In respect of the girls' spirit, he hung the doll, but it didn't stop with just one.

Haunted by her restless ghost, he continued hanging dolls before he was found dead, mysteriously,

in the same spot where the girl's body was found.

Pripyat, Ukraine What happens to a village when a nuclear reactor

built less than 2 miles (3.2 km) away explodes and leaks nuclear waste?

It turns into Pripyat, Ukraine, a city once home to tens of thousands of people.

When the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant erupted in 1986, the people of Pripyat were forced

from their homes, leaving behind what would become one of the creepiest ghost towns in

the world.

Too radioactive to be habitable, Pripyat has been slowly rotting, frozen in time as Mother

Nature slowly reclaims what's hers.

Poveglia Island, Italy A land imbued with death and decay, Poveglia

Island of Italy comes from a dark past that seems to begin with the outbreak of bubonic

plague in the Late Middle Ages.

Seeking refuge from the diseased, Roman populations were thought to send the infected to Poveglia

Island, where they lived miserably until their last breath.

In the 1920s, a mental hospital was constructed to care for physically and mentally ill patients.

Instead, it became the site of torturous experiments that left many dead.

To say the island is plagued with the festering and angered souls of the dead is an understatement.

The Village of Pluckley, England Want to visit the most haunted village in

England?

Then set your sights on Pluckley, the town with a cute name but a bad reputation for

being incredibly haunted.

The small village even made it into the 1989 Guinness Book of Records for being "the

most haunted village in Britain," due to its 12 to 15 different spirits said to roam

the lands.

Local lore includes that of the Red Lady of the 12th century, a phantom monk, a wayward

highwayman, and a gypsy woman.

For a true fright, travel to the outlying woods and listen to the screams of men and

women that became lost in the dense forestry.

Hashima Island, Japan What's scarier than a rotting island that

once housed a bustling mining city?

Add that the island is a part of Japan and you've already increased its horror-factor

tenfold.

For some reason, everything sounds scarier when you mention "Japan," as if Japanese

spirits are far more gruesome.

The island of Hashima has been abandoned since the '70s and now sits as a decayed look

at history.

As you walk through it, you can almost hear the echoing whispers of the industrious mining

town.

Or are those the phantoms of the past calling out to you?

The Leslingly Hospital, Centralia, PA A small 19th-century town in rural Pennsylvania

suffers through a series of unfortunate incidents, leading to a severe population decline.

After a fire in 1962, abnormally high gasoline temperatures in 1979, and the death of a boy

who fell in a sinkhole in 1981, the town of Centralia went from a population of over 1,000

to just seven.

The town is so creepy that it's been used as a model for physical manifestations of

Hell in books and was the inspiration of the film adaptation of Silent Hill.

Monte Cristo Homestead, Australia As if Australia weren't scary enough, Olive

Ryan and her husband had to go and stir up the spirits of Christopher and Elizabeth Crawley

at the Crawley estate in Monte Cristo.

After purchasing the property in 1963, the Ryans claimed to have fallen prey to a couple

of dubious ghosts, who have done everything from physically touch the current owners to

calling out to them.

The incidents started when the Ryans first purchased the house, only to find it completely

lit up despite being disconnected from electricity.

When they walked up to the manor, it fell dark again.

The Door to Hell A place that's earned the name "The Door

to Hell" is bound to have its demons or sordid history.

Quite literally, actually.

In Turkmenistan, a 230' (70 m) wide crater was accidentally uncovered when a team of

Soviet scientists were drilling in search of natural gas reserves in 1971.

When the rig collapsed, they set the crater on fire to burn off any potential methane

gas that leaked.

Today, the fire still burns, and while it technically isn't haunted by beings of the

underworld, from afar, it undoubtedly appears to be a glowing welcoming to the gates of

hell themselves.

The Ridges, Ohio "The Ridges" has that sort of ominous

name you'd expect from a CW show about a sleepy town in the backwoods of Ohio.

Instead, the Ridges refers to the Athens Lunatic Asylum, located in Athens, Ohio.

Once a functional asylum, like so many across the United States, only part of the Ridges

remains in operation.

The rest has fallen into disrepair, much like the minds that were lobotomized there.

The asylum is thought to be incredibly haunted, with reports of spirits roaming throughout

the abandoned wards.

Capuchin Catacombs, Italy The catacombs of Paris often get pegged as

the scariest catacombs in the world, but what of the Capuchin Catacombs of Palermo in Italy?

Created from a history of death, the catacombs feature the uncovered remains of those that

were buried beneath the city of Palermo.

Origins of the catacombs date back to before the 16th-century, when it was used as a cemetery.

Embalmed and mummified, the exposed are both a fascinating look into the ritual practices

of yesteryear and an eerie sideshow for curious eyes.

How to decide on a movie popcorn flavor - Duration: 11:50.

tonight is our movie night I was out grocery shopping earlier today preparing

for it and I got this huge bag of boom chicka pop popcorn from Costco woman I

got home and I started putting groceries away I realized that we had a whole lot

of other different types of popcorns here we have the popcorn that you make

yourself in the eye with a little bit of butter a little bit of oil we have all

these instant different flavors of plot points in the bags that you just stick

in the microwave and go and then we also have these really cool popcorn on a cob

that we got for stocking stuffers over the holidays I believe we picked this up

at Bass Pro and these were really cool and so we started wondering which

popcorn do we like the bass we really didn't know we just love popcorn we

figure out what we want that nice and pop it so we're like well why not

why don't we just take the time and pop a whole bunch of all of it up and see

which kind we like the best

this popcorn put it into a bowl and it'll be ready kettle corn and a movie

theater butter microwave popcorn start there goes smelled like a movie theater

in here kids we always we pop popcorn on the stovetop or one of those air poppers

and just have a good time as kids and with the family so we're going to try to

do that with Boston and Beckham and there's something about the cast iron

skillet popcorn we're going to try this we always like to get really comfortable

too for movie night so we'll be logging into our our nice sweats and jammies

those blankets and just all kind of curl up here we go

bugs and learned how hot that the cats are gets when you make popcorn because

he reached over and went to grab a kernel and ended up touching the pan as

most unusually sits right here and he watches daddy and he just leaned over

faster than we could grab him and he just burned the tip of his finger but

that was the moment he learned what pot was and so he now estates away from it

which is very good uncle Osgood's microwave popcorn right on the cob we

got this from Bass Pro

basically do this and pull it over this side down I had never had cattle horn

until I met Brian I don't know why we'd always just had butter popcorn growing

up I don't think I've ever heard of California it's delicious that had the

popcorn balls that has the caramel like a kind of sweet so it's actually one of

my favorite alright so I just put some of the butter in here and you know I

like to go around the edges a little bit it's a little bit better spread some

people pour it right on top of the top form but I think that it's real soggy in

some places so the Oakland father and eat the one from the bat that the one

from the back tastes more like the thermal coated popcorn versus a sugar

popcorn which is probably what butter is there's more actual sugar on it

this is more of a comma blaze whereas the overbred buggers a little bit more

soft and kind of neat you can still see their suits the cob in there with some

popcorn

it might be really hot yeah we'll show you after you be nice to

eat popcorn on the trying to yellow bolt hmm do you like the yellow ball one

gross you've been eating it all night I like salty buttery this is the movie

theater butter popcorn I believe this is a one I said that was really salty

earlier definitely has a strong better case but I gotta say this one out of all

the ones that we've had and we've had other brands too like uh I can't act

this act the blue one the blue box one and some others opt to tear trans and

stuff this one tastes the most like a movie theater popcorn yeah is

I don't know there's something about it this is Paisley this is the Orville

Redenbacher's kettle corn try some of this know in comparison to this one and

this one you're right this one hasn't it's like a sprayed on coating you can

see the glaze on this like a caramel crunch kettle this is a lighter right

this one's softer and easier to chew that one's look it's got a crunch to it

which is still good and the kernels and these are huge as well where the kernels

end there one are actually rather small in comparison you have this little tiny

ball other pop I guess it's it's a tip front they're open up I'm not sure but

these are huge audience tilt it way back

let's charter this is the plain one that was on the cob that pops right off the

copper you go guys that's amazing

we didn't play with this really put anything on no right it's still pretty

good on something it needs practice all nineteen way up in

here yeah one more time way up here

silly no all right Boston which popcorn did you like the best

did you like the yellow Bowl orange red the bag or the green Bowl yeah so it

wasn't a sour after all like you were pretending what was the other one that

you like what's what's your next favorite that one the one daddy made

good job daddy which one do you like the best

I will probably have to say in this order really yeah this is like a tie one

too because you know hold on a second you can only eat so much of this right

you know it's like very sweet and then see you know overpowering so you know I

can only eat like one bucket of feet of this popcorn in the city then it's like

I probably need two buckets right Yeah right I do like the homemade popcorn for

my cellar yes but I also usually like to screen

low was it nutritional yeast on mine so it has a nice cheesy flavor on its own

and that's not a flavor I can get in any of these I'm a little bit biased ooh

that one just naturally I do like the popcorn second of all and then

I like 4/3 I actually like Orville Redenbacher's kettle corn third and then

fourth I think I like the green booth but this movie theater popcorn even

though the butter he takes was really good it was too salty for me so I I

think that after maybe four or five you know mouthful spikes that I'm gonna be

kind of done or I'm gonna make going balls I'm gonna be looking for water or

something to drink because it's a little too much for me this one I think it's

kind of fun and unique but it's it's basic popcorn I mean this came right off

off the cob without any processing just like this I mean this probably has a

little bit of process right these three definitely a processor this was the most

fun to pop I would say so if you have kids it's worth to trying it once again

we got it at Bass Pro that's the only place I've ever seen come popcorn like

this I don't think I've ever seen it before so that was a lot of fun to watch

that happen I really do wish that the bag that you popped it in was clear so

that you can kind of watch everything happen and then be a cool science

project to do with your kids so I can actually see the kernels pop like that

well that's it everybody I hope you all enjoyed our test here at home making you

know how to make popcorn at home and what the best popcorn is and everything

so we enjoyed it we had a lot of fun Boston did you have fun yes you did you

silly yeah we're gonna go watch cars three I think yes it's on TV now oh yeah
