Charity concert on Christmas #vlogmas - Duration: 9:29.

Trying to record so that you can see my face 'cause it's dark

so the mirror should do, and I wanna tell you that I'm going to ZAZA club

here in Cluj, on Horea street, where I am going to have a charity concert

and everyone who comes will bring clothes and toys and school supplies

which will then be donated to needy children

And I have brought a lot of clothes myself.. a lot

So we are going there to do some good on Christmas

*overly excited* LOOK HOW PRETTY CLUJ IS (my town)

(I have no idea what I said here)

We're here but you can't see 'cause it's really dark

I am going to interview someone

What's your favourite part of Christmas?

Malina Jisa: "Winter and snow and joy and ice-skating"

And??

Malina Jisa:" and... sleighing"

And Santa??

Malina Jisa: "Santa tool"

Santa too, should come once in a while

Look, like this

GOOD

Ok

Like you're being interrogated

lay back

WHAT DO YOU KNOW

Lorint Alex: "What do I know... about?"

About this concert

Lorint Alex: "Well first of all I know that you're singing

and a lot of us are here because of that"

"I'm an Eurovision fan"

You're an Eurovision fan, ok, what did you think of ESC this year?

"Really cool, I knew we were gonna be in top 10, I bet on you with

doesn't matter who but the idea is that I won"

"Congrats to you and Alex"

Thanks!

"Super, super cool"

There are already a lot of presents

We are going to make some children very happy on Christmas and that makes me happy too

And I am going to sing

There!

If I can focus the camera I'll show you

There :D

This is Oana, one of my best friends

If you follow me on Instagram you already know that

Let me zoom in on her face

Is it ok?

Today I will ask her

Why does she love me?

Oana Magyarosi: "'cause I have no choice"

Cause I pay her

How do you feel when you do something good ?

Oana: "I think there's noth..

No, wait, wait"

"you can cut this, right?"

Yes, sure I can

"I think there's no bigger joy than giving"

"And I think that... when..

You'll cut this out"

"I can't just be all cliche and stuff

"I feel amazing, wow, I'm so generous... what should I say??"

say

Claudia Jisa: "I feel like in return for my kindness I want

a young and pretty Santa!"

Tell us something good you did on Christmas

Erwin Jeler: "I woke up"

I'm so happy to be here, able to help

I'm thrilled that there are already lots of presents by the tree

I brought some too, my car is full,

We could barely fit in it when we came

I have to warn you that this is not going to be a serious concert

We are not here to stare and clap

I want you to sing with me, dance with me, scream with me

Smash our heads into the walls, ok?

good

So these are songs that everyone knows

that killed your brains this year because they were on the radio continuously

I'm gonna sing them for you

The first song to start this night with is called

DESPACITO

(Antoniu Minecan, Malina Jisa, Victor Moldovan, Lavinia Blaga - part of MINISTAR CLUJ group)

Nevermind the lyrics!

How was it?

So the event has ended and I am here with Anca

who invited me and organized all of this

And I wanted to talk to her and ask her about where the presents go

and if she thinks they're enough

her general opinion

Anca Grovu: "They're a lot, I don't know if you can see"

Here, all of the presents

Anca: "I initially saw an interview with Raluca, the woman behind this agency

who does things for these children and I thought why not do something myself

and I was like, ok, I'll talk to Daniel from ZAZA

and I'll talk to Ilinca from Eurovison

Cause I knew she was from Cluj

And they both agreed from the very beggining that we'll make a beautiful event

and I am so happy it turned out good, hope you enjoyed it too"

I'm just really happy we could do something like this

I mean, it shouldn't only be on Christmas

We should do this all the time, not only on Christmas

So, to all of you watching this video

Even on Christmas,

take from what you have and give to others, who might have less

Anca: "You can do so much... I organized a concert

And I had never done that before

and there were a lot of people, and Ilinca

Who is pretty known in Romania and she sang amazing

and we had an amazing location and every one of us cand do anything

with as little as we have, we can give a lot

It's not difficult to make others happy by giving as little or as much as you can :)

We managed to make these children's Christmas better

with the packages we collected at the Concert <3

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

AskProfWolff: "Union Support for Worker Co-operatives?" - Duration: 3:47.

This question came in from Will Cooper and we want to thank him, and we want to

remind everyone that you can send questions like this to AskProfWolff on

our website rdwolff with two Fs dot com Will Cooper says that while he

understood in an earlier piece that I did that unions can be supporters of. and

worked together with worker coops. He doesn't see that very often and in fact,

he provides some examples where unions have been downright hostile or

disinterested in anything to do with worker coops. So let me first acknowledge

that Will Cooper's quite right, there are unions that are interested in working

with worker coops and there are unions that have no interest in doing that, and

I wish there were more unions that were pro worker co-op, but there are some. So,

let's talk about them, and what that's about. The best example here in the

United States is a cooperation agreement between the United Steel Workers of

America, a large major union in this country, and the Mondragon Cooperative

Corporation in Spain. Mondragon Cooperative Corporation is the biggest

and most successful worker co-op in the world.

It currently has over a hundred thousand employees, it is the seventh largest

corporation in all of Spain, and it is a family of about 250 worker coops. It's

remarkable, started in 1956, extraordinarily

successful, it has an arrangement with the Steel Workers Union together to

start, to help, to support worker coops here in the United States, and may have

several experiments with actual workers in actual enterprises going on in

Pennsylvania, and elsewhere here in the United States. So there's an example of a

union that is providing all kinds of support. And you know historically if you

go back in time, the 19th century, and many parts of the 20th century, in many parts

of the world, unions and co-ops thought of themselves as natural allies,

and here's the reason why: well, what a union does is fight for better

conditions for its workers, better wages, better pensions, better health benefits,

but it's always fighting an employer who has the exact opposite incentive not to

spend money on wages, working conditions, pensions, benefits. So you, whatever you

win as a union, you're always at risk of losing it because the employer wants to

and will find ways usually to take it away. So the logical point of a union

comes with a worker co-op, because then you wouldn't always be fighting against

an opponent who has every interest in undoing whatever it is you win, because

you would be the employer yourself. The workers and the employer become the same

people in a worker coop. So it's in a way, the logical end. The way you can be sure

that what you've gotten as a good deal as a worker, won't be taken away by your

employer, is if you're the employer yourself because that becomes absurd. So

I think, there's a perfectly good way that unions could once again in general,

make alliances with, mutually support worker coops, for the reason that in the

end, they are going after the same thing, one within the confines of the

employer- employee relationship, and the other one saying that relationship itself is the

problem, we're gonna change it for something that

makes us more secure and safe in what we've won as wages, working conditions

and so on.

The UAE's Martian City on Earth - Duration: 6:11.

[ ♪ Intro ♪ ]

The United Arab Emirates is really good at enormously ambitious — and just physically

enormous — projects.

From the Burj Khalifa to their artificial islands, to the mountain they want to build,

to that giant indoor ski resort they have: the UAE is about pushing the limits of engineering,

sometimes out of necessity, and sometimes because they're just feeling it.

And now they're taking that feeling and running with it to Mars, in the form of a

giant Martian colony.

But first, they're planning to build a model colony here on Earth — the biggest Mars

simulation anyone has ever done.

In 2014, the UAE established their space program and announced their inaugural mission: the

Al-Amal, or Hope, orbiter, which will monitor Mars's atmosphere and weather.

Mars's atmosphere used to be much thicker, and the causes of its thinning aren't entirely known.

The planet's lack of magnetic field probably plays a role, but we don't have any definitive

answers to the question yet.

So with Hope, they're … hoping … to answer that question.

It's set to launch in 2020 and arrive at Mars in 2021.

But the UAE is thinking really long term about Mars, and also has plans to build a whole

city up there.

They want to get 600,000 people living on Mars.

That's super ambitious, especially considering we haven't sent anyone to Mars yet, but

their deadline is 100 years from now, so they do have plenty of time to figure it out.

And that's where their most recent Mars-related project comes in: a smaller, model colony

in the Emirates.

And when I say "smaller," all I mean is that It's not going to be nearly as big

as the actual planned colony on Mars.

It'll still be pretty darn huge — about two-tenths of a square kilometer in area,

or about half the size of the Vatican.

And the whole thing is going to be covered with domes!

It won't be the first simulated Mars habitat, although it will be the biggest.

The Mars Society runs two habitats, in Utah in the US and Nunavut in Canada.

And the University of Hawaii has one too.

All of these simulations are places for teams of scientists to conduct astrobiological and

geological research in environments that are a lot like Mars.

And at the same time, they can simulate the realities of living in a scientific settlement

on a planet that can't support you.

There tend to be lots of rules: you can't go outside of your living space without wearing

a spacesuit; your water use is extremely well-regulated, and you can't communicate off-base without

a 20-minute delay.

The habitats allow scientists to work on their own projects there, while simultaneously being

part of a long-term psychological experiment: how will scientists fare when stuck in a little

hab together?

How do we meet their psychological and emotional needs?

The UAE's environment will work on answering similar questions by having a crew live in

their habitat for a year.

But it'll also be a sandbox for engineers to test the kinds of systems they'll need

to support a long-term settlement on Mars, something we haven't really been able to

do before on such a large scale.

Everything is still very conceptual at this point — the UAE Space Agency hasn't even

said when they're planning on having this thing built.

But they have released some very preliminary plans for their Dome-inion.

That's not the official name, we're just really hoping it catches on.

The colony will be contained inside three domes, and it's going to be really crucial

to get those domes right.

Earth's atmosphere filters out lots of UV radiation from the sun, but Mars's atmosphere

isn't thick enough to do that.

Which means people on the surface would face everything from bad sunburns to skin cancer

unless they're protected.

In theory the domes are going to do the job that Mars's atmosphere can't, and will be

made out of a material that can shield inhabitants from Mars's high UV flux.

Based on some of the concept art they've drawn up, it might also be possible to control

how much light the material lets through, which would be a way to have the people and

plants in the model city living on Martian day/night cycles.

No word on what this material is yet, but again, they have a while to figure it out.

Since the whole thing will be enclosed, engineers will be able to test the atmospheric regulation

systems, water filtration systems, temperature regulation systems — all the usual mechanical

stuff that you need to survive when your environment can't support you.

And they'll be developing these systems to accommodate a small city, rather than just

a li'l habitat or a space station, so it's a big challenge!

But probably the biggest problem engineers will have to solve is how to feed everyone.

For a permanent or semi-permanent colony, you can't rely on shipments of food from Earth.

And while Mars's soil does contain some of the elements and molecules that plants need

to grow, they're not abundant enough to really support agriculture.

So we'll have to apply everything we know about agriculture to this new environment,

which is okay because if humans know how to do anything, it farming.

We are so good at that.

It's kind of our thing as a species.

That and long-distance running and fully rotatable arms.

Anyway, farming: we're really good at it, especially since we've figured out how to

manipulate genes.

Genetically modified plants that can thrive in relatively nutrient-poor soil or produce

higher amounts of proteins, carbs, or essential vitamins already exist, and of course we have

all kinds of fertilizers, both natural and synthetic.

So a lot of the foundation work is done there — but we are still a long way from being

able to farm in such an extreme environment as Mars.

Even with plenty of potatoes and poop.

In addition to all the research going on in the Dome-inion, they're also planning on

building a museum in there, with walls 3D-printed from local sand.

The museum will celebrate the history of human spaceflight, and who knows — maybe by a

century from now, it'lll inspire 600,000 people to pick up their lives and fly to another planet.

Top 10 Killer Frost Surprising Facts - Duration: 6:09.

Killer Frost Facts Hey guys!

Welcome back to Top 10 Nerd, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

Killer Frost is a pretty awesome villain, who more people are getting to know now that

she's part of the CW Flash television show.

However, there are still a lot of people who are completely unfamiliar with her.

Given that it seems we'll be seeing quite a bit more of her, I thought I'd catch everyone

up on everything they need to know about her.

Keep in mind that I'll be describing this for fans new and old, so if something seems

obvious to you… it won't be for those who've never heard of her.

And as usual, I'll focus more on the comics side of things.

With no further ado, it's time for the Top 10 Facts About Killer Frost!

Number 10: First of all, let's do a quick crash course on her New 52 history for those

who don't know her.

Caitlin Snow was a scientist at STAR Labs working at an outpost in the Arctic Circle.

She decided to continue the work of her dead colleague, working on a Self-Sustaining Thermodynamic

Ultraconductor Engine, with the hopes of creating a perpetual motion machine.

Unfortunately, upon completion of the engine, it turned out her colleagues worked for the

evil HIVE organization, and they tried to stop her.

In a bind, Caitlin accidentally infused herself with ice, giving her a number of powers (and

one significant handicap).

What powers?

Well, I'm glad you asked.

Number 9: Following her accident, Killer Frost found herself encased in a permafrost.

Unfortunately, people aren't meant to be covered in permafrost, and the changes in

her physiology caused her to hunger for heat.

However, all was not lost, as she also gained a number of ice-related powers, as so many

often do.

First and foremost, she gained the ability to absorb the body heat of others to sate

her hunger and survive.

She also gained the power of cryokinesis, which allowed her to generate organic ice

and manipulate moisture in the air, used to create ice weapons, shoot spikes, or even

large storms.

Pretty nifty.

Number 8: She was on the Suicide Squad.

As is somewhat common amongst the slightly more grey villains, Killer Frost was inducted

into the Suicide Squad.

Hopefully by now everyone knows what that is, basically a team of villains sent on dangerous

missions since they're disposable.

She helps the suicide squad for a time, fighting against the justice league, but soon realized

that she just didn't want to be a villain.

Her doubts further manifested themselves after seeing the heroic efforts of the Justice League,

and she eventually reformed from her old ways.

But one event sealed the deal, which brings me to my next point.

Number 7: Eclipso turned her good.

I mean, she was already on the road to reform, but he gave her that last push she needed.

As I previously alluded to, Killer Frost impressed the Justice League greatly in the battle between

Eclipso and the combined Suicide Squad and Justice League.

As she was absorbing heat from all those present (with their permission), Eclipso used his

power to show her her deepest desire.

But this plan totally backfired, because she saw that her deepest desire was to make a

difference, thus solidifying her drive to reform.

But she had one big obstacle to overcome if she wanted to get onto the Justice League:

Amanda Waller.

Number 6: Waller was a big ol' jerk to her.

If you've read the Suicide comics or seen the movie, you'll know of Amanda Waller,

the director of the Suicide Squad.

And my goodness was Waller a jerk to Killer Frost.

I mean, granted, Frost had killed people as a villain, so I can't really fault Waller

for not fully trusting her, but she seemed intent on keeping her from reforming.

She QQ Lost QQ her paperwork, deprived her of heat, then kept sticking a bunch of delicious,

warm people in her cell to tempt her, even a frickin pyrokinetic which is totally cheating.

But Frost had the last laugh, because she was able to keep under control, and was paroled

from the Squad, and transferred to the Justice League at the request of good ol' Batman.

Which brings me beautifully to number 4!

Number 5: She's now a member of the new Justice League of America!

After Frost helped to save the world from Eclipso, and she proved that she could control

her hunger, she was released from the Suicide Squad, and joined the new Justice League.

While we have yet to see too much of her yet, her chemistry with the other members is pretty

great, and I'm loving what I've seen so far.

Do I still prefer Lobo?

Of course.

But she's definitely holding her own on the team, and I'm becoming a big fan; she's

so wonderfully damaged, it's really interesting.

Number 4: Differences in the Arrow-Verse.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the live action version that we've seen in the

Arrow-verse.

While her powers are similar, there are a number of differences between this version

and the comic version.

First of all, she's less outwardly different; rather than her usual blue colouring due to

the permafrost, she generally looks like a normal person.

She also doesn't NEED to absorb heat from others like the comic version does, although

it's possible that this will become a major plotpoint in the future.

Number 3: She inspired a Smallville villain, although he didn't share her name.

This one's kind of weird.

In Smallville, Sean Kelvin, a fittingly named student at Smallville High, gained essentially

the same abilities as her after falling into the kryptonite exposed lake.

His body was constantly running too cold, and he needed to extract warmth from people

in order to survive.

The strange thing is, I just don't get why they decided to make it a random guy rather

than using Killer Frost herself.

It's still DC, you're not stealing her, but this unashamed copy was kind of weird.

Maybe it was a rights issue?

I dunno.

If you do, let me know in the comments because I'm curious.

Number 2: She's living a nightmare.

I think we can all agree that someone who wants to do good would struggle pretty hard

with the fact that her body is screaming at her to leech the heat out of everyone around

her.

It sounds like torture.

But it turns out, this is precisely her nightmare, as we learned when we came up against the

Terrorsmith.

His ability to transform any human he touches into their worst nightmare didn't work on

her, because, as she said, she's already living her worst nightmare.

It worked out pretty well in that encounter, but it is hella depressing that she couldn't

imagine being any worse than she already is.

This leads me to my final point…

Number 1: She's doing everything she can to get better.

While Frost is a member of the Justice League and does go on missions for them, her personal

mission is to find a way to cure her heat sickness, so she can put an end to her suffering.

The constant yearning for heat affects her greatly, and she is striving to figure out

a way to handle this problem throughout the Justice League series.

She gets a lot of help from the Atom, another member of the league, and while they haven't

succeeded as of the time I'm writing this video, I'm certainly rooting for them.

That's it for today!

Hope you guys enjoyed, if you did please smack that thumbs up button and subscribe to Top

How is AFRICA escaping POVERTY? - VisualPolitik EN - Duration: 12:22.

Here at VisualPolitik we talked about how we now live in a world where every day there

is less poverty and people are able to live better lives.

A change that is even reaching the most unprotected region in the world, sub-Saharan Africa.

We already talked about the African lions, and paid special attention to cases like Rwanda.

However, we still need to talk about when and why this region of the world, which so

many considered hopelessly destitute, began to change.

Well, that is precisely what we are going to talk about in this video--that and what

we can expect in the upcoming years.

For years talking about Africa has also meant talking about extreme poverty, natural disasters

and all kinds of conflicts.

And in a way, things are still that way.

See, no more or less than half, yes, half of all the people who suffer from extreme

poverty in the world live in the sub-Saharan African region.

We're talking about almost 400 million people.

Also, news like this isn't surprising either:

"We are facing the largest humanitarian crisis since the creation of the United Nations

[in 1945].

(...) Now, more than 20 million people across four countries face starvation and famine".

- Stephen O'Brien, the UN under secretary-general for humanitarian affairs

Due to all of this, I'm sure nobody is a stranger to those NGO campaigns seeking to

raise funds for all kinds of humanitarian catastrophes in Africa.

Or for governments to allocate billions of dollars each year for Official Development

Assistance.

In fact, government aid is as high as it's ever been: every year, the African continent

receives about 50 billion dollars.

And this has been going on for... decades.

However, the truth is that for years all this money didn't help that much.

Let's take a look at, for example, the 90s.

While international aid in this area of the world amounted to tens and tens of billions...

What do you think happened with poverty?

Do you think it decreased?

Well... no, none of that.

Between 1990 and 1998, poverty levels went from 55% to 58%.

But how could that be?

Well… because intentions are one thing.

Reality is a very different one….

Some experts claim that for years official aid weakened local producers.

"Evidence overwhelmingly demonstrates that aid to Africa has made the poor poorer, and

the growth slower."

Dambisa Moyo an economist and author of "Dead Aid: Why Aid Is Not Working and How There

Is a Better Way for Africa."

For example, in Tanzania it was cheaper to buy subsidized milk from the European Union

than from local producers

However, my friends, with the beginning of the new century, suddenly everything began

to change …

THE GREAT CHANGE

Suddenly, when Africa seemed helpless, everything began to change.

With the beginning of the 21st century, statistics turned around...

Since the year 2000, extreme poverty has dropped by almost 40%; average life expectancy has

grown by more than 10 years; infant mortality has decreased

to less than half; the same happened with HIV infections in children and virtually any

other statistic.

If we look at the economy, we'll be able to see how between the year 2000 and the year

2015 sub-Saharan Africa economies, excluding South Africa – which is a bit of a peculiar

case, as we saw here in VisualPolitik – grew an average by 6%, which is more than twice

than, for example, Latin America.

Another great indicator of how things are changing is tourism.

Yes, tourism, you heard it.

The tourism sector has some peculiar characteristics that reveal a lot of information.

On the one hand, this sector has great transformational power for the poorest because it's very

labor-intensive; and on the other hand, we need to take into account that people don't

vacation in countries that are at war, or have famine or epidemics.

When this industry improves in the poorest countries, it is usually a good indicator

that things are improving as a whole.

Well, if we see the date, we might be quite surprised, because this sector, my friends,

has been growing at an average annual rate, of no less than 9% for 20 years.

That is two full decades.

Yes, it seems like things are moving forward.

But at this point, you may be wondering something.

I certainly am.

What on earth happened to lead to such a change?

Check out this graph, which may give us a clue:

But what exactly led to this kind of "miracle"?

Let's see.

PREPARING FOR TAKE-OFF

Many things drive change, but we will now see how three particular events in Africa

began to change, and I think forever, this continent's reality.

The first one was remittances.

See, in Africa the population grows very quickly, which along with the terrible living conditions,

has led many Africans to emigrate to richer countries in the past few decades.

Today, these people send tens of billions of dollars home every year.

This money is used in local markets or to set up businesses, for example.

These are remittances, which are actually much more important than development aid.

Can immigration be a good solidarity policy?

Well... it looks like it may be.

Second, and very importantly.

In March 2000, the US Congress finally approved a law that had been promoted by Bill Clinton

in his last years in command: the "African Growth and Opportunity act".

This is basically a law that establishes a preferential trade agreement that eliminates

tariffs and reduces barriers to trade thousands and thousands of products from sub-Saharan

Africa.

See, since this agreement was approved, we can see that between 2000 and 2016 – which

wasn't exactly a good year – trade between the United States and sub-Saharan Africa multiplied

by 2.5, which means a 6% growth rate every year.

And third, perhaps the key to everything: China.

Yes, you heard it right.

In 2001 China joined the World Trade Organization and became something like "the factory of

the world".

Well, what has happened since then has been quite impressive: China's huge growth has

lifted tens of millions of people out of poverty... both in China and in Africa.

Allow me to explain myself, the Asian giant's gigantic growth has increased this country's

demand for all kinds of products: raw materials, food, manufacturing... everything!

Well, many African countries took advantage of this opportunity.

Since the year 2000, trade between China and Africa has multiplied by no less than 17 times,

representing an annual growth rate of almost 20%.

Since 2009, China is already, by far, the continent's largest trading partner.

But not only that, the Chinese, as we mentioned here, have also been investing a lot of money

all over the world.

And Africa is no exception.

In 2016, 4 out of 10 euros that foreigners invested in Africa came from China.

Today more than 10,000 Chinese companies are doing business in the African continent, mostly

private companies that work in all kinds of industries.

And that number just keeps rising.

Yes, my friends, this is how Africa has managed to start turning the statistics around.

The great catalyst for this entire change wasn't some kind of super-earthly miracle

nor did it have much to do with development aid.

This change was driven by trade and investment.

And, Africans themselves seem to see it very clearly.

Don't believe me?

Well... take a look:

"African countries are forging ahead to complete negotiations for a continental free

trade area between 55 countries by early next year.

The idea, adopted by the African Union in 2012, is to create a single market which includes

the free movement of goods, services and people."

Yes, that's right, Africa is working to expand trade to every corner of the continent.

Not all countries are developing equally, but this quite normal in all parts of the

world.

FOLLOWING THE ASIAN STAR

At this point, we need to ask ourselves another question.

Can we really dream of Africa's final takeoff?

See, I suspect that many of you may be thinking: well everything you say in VisualPolitik is

very nice... but it isn't a general rule.

Surely, in Africa there are countries that are doing well and others that are doing not

so well.

Well, you know what?

That's true, but it's also... normal.

See, it may sound shocking today, but in the 50s, Asia was as poor as Africa.

You heard that right.

Yes, I know, seeing cities like Shanghai, Hong Kong or Taipei makes it very hard to

imagine that they were once so poor.

But, when South Korea or Taiwan began to grow, they weren't richer than Ghana or Senegal,

for example.

And China, India or Vietnam were, of course, much poorer.

How things have changed!

Well, we can get some ideas from this:

My friends, Asian countries didn't grow all at once either, not at all.

While Korea, Singapore, Japan and Taiwan grew, other countries such as China, Indonesia and

India remained immersed in poverty.

Also, they weren't exactly democratic models.

South Korea and Taiwan were under hard dictatorships until very recently.

Singapore is in a similar state... and China... well what can I say...

In short, lots of poverty, some more advanced countries with others further behind, dictatorships...

what we are seeing in Africa today isn't so different from what was happening in Asia

READY FOR TAKE-OFF?

Yes, things in Africa are changing.

Out of the 10 countries that are apparently growing the most in 2017, 5 are here, in Africa.

If we take a look at the latest Doing Business, the World Bank indicator for measuring how

easy it is to do business in certain economies, we can see that out of the 10 countries that

have improved the most, 4 are also African.

True, poverty is still very high, and these countries are facing a difficult challenge:

such large population growth that the continent's population will actually multiply in the upcoming

decades.

However, my friends, the good news is that everything indicates that thanks to trade

and international investment, Africa is finding its way and is maybe, once and for all, ready

for take-off.

But now it's your turn, do you think that Africa will emulate the development that Asia

has had in recent decades?

guys some examples of what im talking about.

Don't forget to give this video a big thumbs up and let me know down in the comments what

other top 5 lists you like to see me do.

Alright without further a due lets get started on our list of the top 5 worst bug invasions

ever.

Coming in at our number 5 spot--Spiders- This picture was posted on September 15th on Reddit.

As you can see we have a huge mamma spider protecting her hundreds of freshly hatched

youngins.

And of course where better to start a family then on top of an energy meter.

Of course this is in Australia where they are known for having ridiculously huge spiders.

But could you even imagine this being on your property?

I know I couldn't.

id just imagine these little guys crawling all over me.

And don't even get me started on that mamma spider she looks like shed be bigger then

my hand.

And all those beety little eyes.

Yeah basically id have to move.

Not a big fan of spiders if you couldn't tell.

in at number 4--Cockroaches- Now one of the really bad thing about roaches is that if

you see one then theres likely a swarm of them somewhere close by.

Roaches love to stay together and live in dark places.

So an abandoned house is the perfect place to stay.

This has to be the worst roach infestation ive ever seen.

Theyre on the floor- in the nooks and crannys around cupboards- crawling up the walls and

settling on higher shelves.

From the looks of the house it seemed like someone was living there but had to surrender

to the roaches.

I mean when something gets this bad you have to call in some assistance.

There even up in the cornors of the wall.

Then the guy filming the video opened the cupboard below the sink and there were thousands

of live ones scampering around in there.

Watching this video honestly made me itch it was so creepy.

You just feel like they are crawling all over you.

Check it out at number 3--Bees- So this infestation actually

made it onto the news on CNN.

Josie Parra from Houston but up with a bee infestation for 2 years.

She tried to get rid of the bees herself with foam and smoke but It eventually became too

much and she had to tear down walls in her house.

She didn't know how severe it was until she called in experts from a business called

Gotcha pest control.

He began to break down bricks from the side of her house where the hive was.

It was then he realized the problem was much worse then he thought.

He dug out pounds of honeycomb and then realized the hive was so deep that he would have to

go inside.

He took off a piece of the ceiling in her sons bed room and honey began to drip down.

Turns out hundreds of thousands of bees were living in her walls and ceiling- take a look.

Coming in at number 2--Red Wasps- this story comes for Billy the exterminator himself.

You guys may remember him he used to have a show on tv back in 2009 called…humbly

enough..

Billy the Exterminator.

On it he and his brother ran a pest control company and they would go to peoples homes

and get rid of their pest problems.

It was pretty entertaining.

One of his worst cases was this one with Red wasps.

He went to visit a house that was literally swarming with red wasps.

There were a total of 9 nests- which is insane.

There were thousands of wasps.

So billy made a device to kill them.

He attached a can of pie-wreath-ren to the end of his device so he could spray them from

a safe distance.

The chemical attacks the wasps nervous system and ends up killing them.

He said in over 25 years hes never seen a wasp infestation this bad.

Then he had to go into the attic where he found thousands more and had to kill them

all.

And at number 1--Bedbugs- ok this is one that always gets me and really freaks me out.

unless theres swarms like in this case bedbugs are hard to see with the naked eye.

Back in 2011 this video was posted by Town and Country Pest Solutions.

And in the video we can see how bad bed bug infestations can get.

This is a bed that's in an apartment building in New York.

And the bad things about bed bugs and apartments is that its extremely easy for these bugs

to get from one unit to another.

And if one unit reports bed bugs then the whole building needs to be fumigated.

So in this video im about to show you a box spring is covered with so many bed bugs that

you can fully see them and the exterminators said they could actually smell them.

Which apparently is rare and usually a trained dog needs to be called in to sniff them out.

I don't now how these people let it get this bad before reporting it.

The exterminators said this must have been going on for months- maybe even a year.

Watching this video made me so itchy.

Its pretty disturbing.

This is what they were dealing with Alright and there you have it that's out

list of the top 5 worst bug infestations ever.

Thank you so much for watching and ill catch you in the next one.
