TOP 10 TREASURES FOUND WITH A METAL DETECTOR - Duration: 10:11.

hi the mates

it is a particular video that I propose to you today

because we will see together

10 exceptional treasures found at the metal detector

THE TREASURE OF JERSEY

The value of this treasure could go up to 15 million euros …

the treasure of Grouville has been discovered with metal detector

by two prospectors, Reg Mead and Richard Miles

in a secret place of a field located in the parish of grouville on the eastern side of Jersey

Composed of more than 45,000 currencies, it also includes

Five complete torques in gold

Four pieces of gold torques

Three gold bracelets

Two gold rings

Two gold leaves

Two copper buckles

A stone

Seven ingots

A silver thread

Three decorative gold coins

A glass ball

Six different objects

The treasure is still in study and continues to reveal its incredible content.

THE TREASURE OF STAFORDSHIRE

2009

In July 2009, a few pieces of gold were discovered by an amateur,

Terry Herbert

on the land of a farm near Lichfield, Staffordshire

Which gave rise to the largest Anglo-Saxon gold treasure discovered to date

it comprises about 5 kg of gold and 1.3 kg of silver

and consists of more than 1500 objects

almost all warlike and dating from the VII and VIII century

The estimated value of these treasures is 3.7 million euros

JAMES HYATT MEDALLION

2010

2,8 millions €

When we talk about fortuitous discovery, we can not pass aside this incredible find made in camps and all that is normal

The story is incredible since it was a 3-year-old boy

playing with his grandfather's metal detector who made this exceptional discovery

With the help of his grandfather

they dug to unearth a 16th century gold medallion

that belonged to the royal family

There are only 4 known copies of this medallion

and one of them was bought for the sum of 2.8 million euros ...

It makes you want to go out on Sunday?

THE HOXNE TREASURE

1992

2 millions €

Definitely, in England, there are many treasures ...

Peter Whatling, a farmer from about Hoxne in Suffolk County

loses a hammer in one of his fields

He then calls his friends with a metal detector to find him

Except that…

They will find jewels

coins and other objects in gold and silver

and it is with the local archaeologists that he will update an incredible treasures of the end of the IVth century

In the end, it will be some 14865 coins

200 pieces of silverware

and several kisses in gold for a total value of more than 2 million euros …

THE BOOT OF CORTEZ

1989

1,55 millions €

In 1989, this Mexican can finally afford a metal detector in a second-hand shop

knew where he was going since the canyons he was walking had already made the fortune of other treasure hunters

and it's trying his new purchase in the Sonoran desert

that he will make an exceptional discovery: a gold nugget of 12 kg shaped boot

It was auctioned for the pretty sum of 1.55 million euros

By dint of patience and relentlessness, he will finally be well rewarded

THE STIRLING TREASURE

2007

1,1 million €

This story is amazing since it's a beginner who made this discovery

less than an hour after having, for the first time, turned on his metal detector

David Booth, a 35-year-old Englishman

had paid for a detector to have fun

but surely did not think he would find one of the most important Celtic treasure in Scotland

He discovered 4 gold torques dated 300 years before Christ

and estimated at 1.1 million euros ...

Like what, there is no need for experience, advanced equipment, or special location to make an exceptional discovery.

THE VIKING TRESOR OF DENMARK

2016

not estimated

In 1911, after returning home at the end of his working day

a farmer found a beautiful gold necklace hung on his plow

The necklace had a dragon's head on each side

and was attributed to the first Danish kings of Denmark

It is in 2016 that an archaeologist from the Sonderskov Castle local museum

will put the amateur team on the trail of the pendant that was to accompany this necklace

On June 1, 2016, the small detective team

will get their hands on a fabulous gold jewelry treasure

attributed to Denmark's first Viking king and his birth as a Nation

there is no financial estimate to date

the treasures are in study

but sorry we are talking about several hundred thousand euros …

THE MEDAL OF THE HOLY TRINITY

2010

280 000 €

After years of unsuccessful metal detection

Mary Hannaby

eventually found a 500-year-old gold relic

She will find this relic on a plot that she has already traveled several times

And the luck has not finished smiling since a similar medallion

the jewel of Middleham

was bought by the Yorkshire Museum for the modest sum of 2.8 million euros ... What to dream …

A TREASURY IN BRITAIN

2012

Value unknown

A discovery remained secret for years

and I wanted to talk to you in this video

because we always talk about the disastrous legislation in France and the difficulties to declare

Yet it does not happen the same in all regions

and if the inventors of the treasure of Boucq were sentenced

the Breton 78 years could not only declare his discovery

but the circumstances of his research are incompatible with what we know in France so far

Our retiree willingly admits having visited a field bordering a Roman road

and in which he had spotted fragments of Gallo Roman tiles

He decided to explore and eventually found

more than a hundred pieces of Gallien (253-268)

Claude II (268-270) and others struck with the effigy of usurpers then to the head of Gaul

Currencies were shared between the discoverer

the owner and the DRAC

An interesting fact that serves our heritage

since instead of condemning twists this enlightened amateur

he was rewarded for his exceptional discovery

Indeed, the numismatic study will confirm that there existed at that time

rivalry between the imperial power and a local power

that sought to assert itself by hitting its own currency

This is a beautiful story full of common sense

THE TREASURE OF MATHAY

2006

Value unknown

The discovery of a gold necklace made by chance in 2006 in a Mathay wood in the Doubs

will give rise to the discovery of one of the most beautiful French treasure

considered exceptional in Europe

It is thanks to the declaration of this honest prospector of metals

that the treasure will be discovered by the archaeologist

and can be studied as a whole

Dating back to 100 BC

this treasure contained a thousand and five hundred coins

several necklaces made of glass beads, amber and gold leaf rolled up

a series of different bronze bracelets

an articulated belt in bronze links with pendants

bronze anklet rings

plates 10 cm long covered with a gold leaf, which had to be sewn on a suit

and finally a surprising amount of small bronze rings threaded in series

The deposit also contains several spheres of bronze sheet 4 centimeters in diameter coated with a gold leaf

BONUS - THE TREASURE OF BOUCQ

1997

90 000 €

You can not talk about treasures at the metal detector without talking about Boucq's treasures

Although the story dates a bit

it deserves its place in the top 10

because it happens in France and is very representative of the treatment of people who make exceptional discoveries in our beautiful country

On April 15, Louis Fontenay and Jacques Royer

meet for a detour 12 km from Toul in Meurthe et Moselle

They decide to prospect the small wood of a highway area

and find nothing more than a "standard amount of waste

At the end of the day, as night falls, the two friends decide to return when Louis Fontenay's detector starts ringing

It digs on 5 centimeters and sees appear a pottery which will contain 200 coins of gold coins

escudos of XVème, XVIème and XVII ème century in a pot earthenware for a total of 1,2 kg

Although he decides to declare his discovery as he is required by French law

he will be judged, sentenced and despoiled of his treasure

Drac has complained for the use of a detector for archaeological purposes

the destruction of a site archeology and the voluntary search for a treasure

Remember that they were on a picnic area ...

Finally the treasure will be auctioned for more than 90,000 euros

under the eyes of Louis Fontenay who will have been entitled to a conviction and a fine

It is the community of prospectors who will contribute to offer him 2 coins of this treasure.

Many treasures would never have been studied by scientists if the discoverer had not been honest

Many artefacts found in metal detectors escape archeological studies

because many try to cash them directly or simply fear being sued as common criminals

especially in France where it is a common practice

It's a shame because we have not finished extracting exceptional treasures

and our heritage suffers every day from outdated and repressive legislation that only worsens the situation

It is noted that in certain regions of France

there is effective collaboration with metal detector users but that these practices remain marginal

because of associations or people in need of recognition who under the guise of safeguarding the heritage are only aggravate its irremediable loss

I hope you enjoy this video

I will make you a video soon with the discoveries made in France

because we have some beautiful specimens discovered on our lands

Unfortunately, legislation does not encourage us to declare

and we would have a lot more knowledge to share

if we had the possibility as in certain regions

to declare without risking a conviction

and judicial prosecution

I hope you enjoy this video

if so, put a blue thumb

and I tell you very soon for the next video

see you the mates

Kaliningrad for $100: Dancing trees, Prussian forts, horse riding and lots of moss - Duration: 15:29.

Today we're in Kaliningrand, the most

European part of Russia and we've got, as always

one cameracrew, two days and $100 to show you everything

that locals… yes that locals recommended that we do,

see, taste and experience in this fantastic town

and you know what, I just experienced the train

and it was a pretty good experience, but

that's a just the beginning.

Kaliningrad, formerly known as Königsberg until the end of WWII

when it became part of Russia, is the heart of this enclave

of land between Lithuania and Poland.

Kaliningrad is actually the cheapest way to get to Europe

from Moscow, since the trains are considered domestic

it is cheaper to jump off a train in Lithuania going to Kaliningrad

than to actually buy a ticket to Lithuania.

Also, airplane tickets from Moscow to here are two times

cheaper than going to nearby Warsaw, Poland.

This formerly Prussian paradise that we are in, still has many

bits of defensive walls and gates dotted around the city

and this segment was turned into a museum.

Kaliningrad was a city of fortresses until WWII sort of a…

changed the landscape so to say.

So I thought it would be appropriate to start our tour

of the city right here at the Friedrichsburg Fortress Gates.

But one thing guys before we go in.

I know you keep messaging me.

You want me to go see Kurshskaya Kosa and all that stuff

outside the city. But guys, we just don't have the time.

It's too hard.

Let's just stay in the city and stay inside the fort.

Let's see what's in here. I bet there is something cool.

The museum was a bit small and mostly dedicated to naval things.

The outside walls and gates were more interesting

than the inside, but I am good at finding fun things

to do no matter where I am...

Dearest mother, I am really enjoying my time in Kaliningrad

it is a wonderful city, however…

I fear that the amount of mayonnaise that

I have eaten over the years is finally getting to my brain.

I fear my end may be near, but at least I'm having fun.

Your son… Timothy.

The Museum of the World Ocean is spread out

all over Kalningrand and even a little bit outside of it.

But what we're going to take a look at right now is this,

the Vityaz' research vessel.

So let's go research that vessel

and find out what's on there.

This ship was built (about) 60 years ago in the Soviet Union

to study the oceans.

This boat has logged in over 800,000 miles,

yes miles worth of journeys all over the world.

It was kind of neat to walk around on this

huge boat and see how everything works.

But the idea of being on this boat under the hot sun

for months with all the waves rocking you…

Where do they get people to be sailors from?

As Jerry Seinfeld once put it "Who are these people?".

Because they have to be a tough lot!

Oh and this boat museum also works as a hotel!

Yeah, you can rent a room here.

Legendary Hollywood film director James Cameron

has visited this museum multiple times and used

the "Mir" submarines which are in the museum's collection

during the filming of Titanic.

As a fan of all things oceanic Cameron, while visiting

Kalliningrad to promote Titanic, gave the museum

one of his Oscar's and a tea set

during in the movie.

They also had a decomissioned Soviet Submarine

which was very cool.

Sadly they did not have Sean Connery on display.

They said it was decommisioned because they now make

submarines that go faster than the torpedoes

this one was designed to shoot!

I decided to stop by what the Prussians designed

to be the center of town,

which from Russian eyes looks like the outskirts.

They basically layed out lovely little streets with lovely

little houses on all fo them, each unique

and evenly spaced out.

It is extremly quiet here.

Living downtown in Kaliningrad is pretty sweet.

I saw these yellow bench looking things all over, try to guess

what the heck this thing is in the comments.

They do not exist anywhere else in Russia, that I have seen.

Everything in Kalningrad, except the buildings made

by Khrushchev has this lovely lived in feel.

And everything is covered in moss which makes

it look even older and even more European.

There is more moss here, than in the rest

of the country combined. Mossy = classy!

For some reason on this gate we have all sorts

of what I assume are people's birthyears and

deathyears and their names written on it.

And it's not just Russian people I see Kazimierz,

Grazy and some other foreign but not too distant names.

So why is this all written here?

We do not know, maybe some of you know.

Although people keep pestering me to travel outside the city,

I decided to spite them and go to the building

most associated with the city, the Königsberg Cathedral

where legendary German Philosopher Immanuel Kant was buried.

His body was moved elsewhere but the tomb remains

and was untouched by WWII unlike the rest of the Cathedral.

Well pretty much everyone says that while you are in Kaliningrad

you have to take a listen to the largest pipe organ in Russia.

They have day and night concerts and obviously you can

see that it's day time here, so why not listen to a concert?

Because it will either be really amazing

or at least it will be really loud!

So let's check it out

The thing is that right now you are probably listening

on a telephone or on some type of laptop,

or something, but the noise from the actual pipes,

the bass it's really something amazing.

I think you can only experience it if you come here.

I would really recommend doing this.

And also, it was just the right length of time.

Just enough to get the whole sort of feel of the music

without being too long.

Very nice concert. Probably the only concert that

I've ever been to that I actually really liked.

Of course, I was a bit curious how this pipe organ works.

The organist explained that the original one was

completely destroyed, so this one uses 21st century

techology. In the olden days you had to physically

have men pump air like a compressor.

Fun careers choices of the 1800's!

Uh maestro, could you play something,

unusual just for us?

Um, I'll try. Alright, yeah we're ready.

No hands.

I need (to give) a little rest for my hands.

What a great first day in Kaliningrad. And you know what?

I am starving! And everyone says that Madame Bouche

has the best breakfast in town, the problem

is we're really really late for breakfast.

But anyways, they have authentic French cuisine,

and that's what's important and maybe they

serve breakfast at night.

Breakfast tastes better at night anyways.

As the man of sophistication that I clearly am, I could say

that I really enjoyed the locally caught fish

under a lemon cream sauce.

The surroundings were very elegant and it kind of

makes me regret always travelling alone.

You know the more I think about it the more people keep

sending me messages over and over again.

I can't be lazy, I can't be cheap, we've gotta get out

of the city... somehow… at night.

Wait, wait, wait, I think I have an idea just give me

some time to do some research. We can do this! Maybe.

Well guys I told you that I had an idea. And my idea is this.

We are going to rent a car.

Yes, since so many people said

"you have to see Kurshskaya Kosa"

well we're going to go see it.

But on our own terms on our own wheels,

because guys I'm not riding any bus,

I hate buses, I hate them.

Here we are Kurshskaya Kosa in the middle of the night.

Well we spent our hotel budget to get here because

you wanted me to do it.

So uh yeah, so you are looking at my hotel room… on wheels.

So anyways let's find a parking space.

Well guys here I am alone in the forest, in the dark, in a car.

How every good horror movie should begin.

And since I am suffering for your entertainment,

how about you suffer just for two seconds for me

and hit the like button, leave a nice comment

and of course subcribe to this channel.

That would be fantastic. But anyways guys,

I need to get some rest, I'm done.

Leaving the vehicle I approached the beach, this is a unique

location because it is a tiny strip of land a few km wide

flanked by the sea and a body of fresh water.

There are actually many sand dunes here

and the beach is nearly rockless. Amazing!

It is unbelievably windy. Holy Moly!

So here is the most famous spot on the Kurshskaya Kosa,

the dancing forest.

And why is it dancing?

Because (as) you can see the trees are

all wound around like corkscrews.

And if you look to the sky they sort of wiggle

back and forth as if they are dancing.

It's a very magical mystical environment.

And I almost feel like I am on the set of a new

Lord of the Rings movie,

In a way I just want to start cosplaying and speaking

with a fake British accent.

Oh Frodo we must get the ring, come with me lad.

Now you might be wondering why are all the trees

so wiggly-squiggly out here.

Well they told me at the nearby museum exactly why.

But they also told me that I shouldn't tell you.

Because then you won't be motivated

to come visit the dancing forest.

So that will have to remain a secret till you come here.

And one other thing, one other thing, don't hug the trees.

They have signs up, "Do not hug the trees!".

Okay bro, I'm backing off.

I'm not touching you. Alright, it's cool.

Guys everyone says that Kaliningrad is very famous for its horses.

And, horses are very European.

But they keep telling me to go to horse bases,

horse farms, and horse factories.

I'm not quite sure what that all means

but we'll see when we get there.

"Trot! Trot! Trot!"

Guys, it's not so important who's the boss or whether

I'm trained, it's important whether the horse is trained.

The horse is really doing everything, and uh,

its owner is a lot better than I am.

But it's all about the horse that's the main thing.

"Trot... and Woah."

Wow this horse riding is something I should do more often

it is scary yet very thrilling, I really enjoyed it.

I feel more connected to my ancestors and some minor back pain.

I also learned that horses can't really feel it when

their hair is pulled out, which is a good thing because I accidentally

took a big clump of out horsey's mane.

You know my father said we might have

had some cavalry in the ancestory.

I think he just might be right. Because, God

I want to lance something, lance it.

After romantically riding horses by the sea,

I remembered that we must bring home great Russian present.

And, that present comes from the ground.

Kaliningrad is known for one special material

from this region of the world.

And that is amber, which is dug up from right over there.

And of course, it is probably the best gift that

you can get anyone from this region.

So let's see if we can find a nice piece of amber to take with us.

At the factory store they had amber in all shapes,

sizes and colors and of course some of it

can get rather expensive, but for people like

me on a budget there were some options.

The whiter amber is, the more rare that it is,

but I think the dark kind looks better.

So my pick for our present this time is this lovely ladies'

bracelet that is not too expensive but is very local

and correct for the region, so let's go pay

for this and keep moving along.

Alright, well we have our present.

And now, all we have to do is return the rental car

and then we can get on a train and go back home,

but maybe before the train we should

chill out just a little bit.

Well at this point I am starving.

It is time to partake in some of the

remaining German culinary traditions.

So guys of all the bars in Kaliningrad why am I here?

Because local say they make a fantastic set of craft beers

and they also make their own venison sausages

and what's more Kaliningard/Königsberg than sausages

and beer and a little bit of saurkraut over there on the side.

And of course we have our amber locally produced ladies'

bracelet because it is Russian tradition

you must bring home present.

And well guys, please like, share, and comment.

I answer all the comments on Youtube eventually

so make some comments.

Oh! And subscribe!

But you know what guys, today

I drove 270km...

it's beer time.

2017 in Review: North Korea PART 1 - Nuclear & Missile Development - Duration: 4:35.

North Korean provocations.

We've grown somewhat numb to them here in the nation, but noticeable strides made in

missile technology has more citizens down South fearing the worst.

Pyongyang decared it completed its weapons development after their latest ICBM launch.

For the second part of our year-end special, Oh Jung-hee has a wrap-up of the regime's

nuclear and missile upgrade through 2017.

This year, North Korea conducted one nuclear test and 15 missile tests, firing 20 missiles

in total.

That's fewer tests than last year... but this year's provocations were bolder and more daring...

in that the regime continuously tested upgraded missiles... which are now deemed to be capable

of striking anywhere in the United States.

Among the missiles Pyongyang fired in 2016, the ones with longest ranges were the intermediate-range

Musudan ballistic missiles.

These can fly up to 3000 kilometers,... putting the U.S. territory of Guam within reach.

But these missiles weren't considered a big threat... as only one out of the eight Musudan

tests was successful.

This year, the regime started firing missiles with longer ranges.

Intermediate range Hwasong-12 missiles fired in August and September passed over Japan.

ICBM-level Hwasong-14 missiles in July... which were launched at a lofted angle,...

reached altitudes of 28-hundred and 32-hundred kilometers,... and the latest Hwasong-15 reached

an even higher altitude of over 44-hundred kilometers.

The higher the altitude, the longer the missile range.

If fired at a normal trajectory,... the Hwasong-15 is believed to be able to fly up to 13 or

14-thousand kilometers.

(Korean) "The Hwasong-15 ICBM can carry a super-sized

nuclear warhead and strike the whole United States.

It's the DPRK's most powerful ICBM and meets the DPRK's goal of completing the rocket weapons

development."

[ -15 ... .]

But still unanswered are two questions: has North Korea developed the technology to miniaturize

a nuclear warhead... and can its missiles successfully re-enter the Earth's atmosphere.

The ideal weight of a nuclear warhead designed for an ICBM is seen to be around the 500-kilogram

range.

But some experts say... if the engine is strong enough, the warhead may not have to be made

any lighter.

(Korean) "I've conducted a virtual simulation after

the Hwasong-15 launch... and even if we assume the warhead's weight as 700 to 800 kilograms,

it appears the missile can fly up to 10-thousand to 12-thousand kilometers.

This would mean that the North has lightened its nuclear warhead to a sufficient level

for itself."

[700-800 10000 12000 . , 15 . .]

Missile re-entry is another crucial part.

When an ICBM re-enters the atmosphere,... it has to protect the nuclear bomb inside

from frictional heat of 7000 to 8000 degrees Celsius.... as well as massive pressure and

vibrations.

Whether the North has achieved this technology is not clear... but pundits say,... Pyongyang

was still aiming to test the technology through the latest Hwasong-15 launch.

(Korean) "The North decided not to fire its missile

to fly over Japan,... because if it does, then it can't check whether the missile successfully

re-entered the atmosphere as it doesn't have a satellite.

But if the missile falls in the East Sea, then the regime can check the missile re-entry

using radar."

[ . .]

Having declared the completion of its nuclear weapons program,... will the reclusive regime

continue with its provocations?

Analysts say the North could possibly halt its provocations... at least temporarily -- until

after PyeongChang Winter Olympics -- and turn toward a peaceful dialogue with the surrounding

countries.

But if that fails,... the North could conduct further ICBM... and even submarine-launched

ballistic missile tests... and a seventh nuclear test to develop an even lighter nuclear warhead.

(Korean) "What the North calls a "completion" is actually

about 90-percent complete, not a hundred-percent.

There're more stages Pyongyang has to go through to diversify its missiles and actually deploy

them.

The North could also go on to develop solid-fuel missiles... and SLBMs."

[ , 90 100 . // . ... // , SLBM ]

Next week, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will make his New Year's speech.

And there's a lot of interest on... whether he'll use the speech to officially declare

North Korea as a nuclear state... and hint at the possibility of starting negotiations

with the United States.

Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News.

Tên Lửa Có Khả Năng Tấn Công Hoa Kỳ | Trung Quốc Không Kiểm Duyệt - Duration: 5:58.

On this episode of China Uncensored,

North Korea's new missile has China going ballistic.

The world's oceans belong to all mankind.

Except for the ones that belong to China.

And multi-party democracy?

That's evil.

Unless people's votes don't actually count;

then it's fine.

This is China Uncensored.

Hi, welcome to China Uncensored,

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

In our top story,

North Korea has successfully completed another missile test.

According to the totally unbiased reporting from state-run media,

it's capable of striking

"anywhere in whole US mainland."

But don't worry,

because US President Donald Trump

still has a good bromance going on with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

After a phone call,

new sanctions are on the way!

But there's one thing the Chinese regime

is still exporting to North Korea: refugees.

Like one mother and son who were recently caught

attempting to flee North Korea.

They crossed the border into China,

ultimately on their way to South Korea.

That's where the husband/father is waiting

after himself fleeing in 2015.

His name is Lee,

and he's sent a message to Xi Jinping

begging him to save his family.

"When defectors are caught trying to go to South Korea,

Lee tells me they're sent to political camps,

and never leave.

From what I know, in 2–3 years,

maybe less, you'll wither to death."

The Chinese regime should know how wrong that is!

They've been able to keep prisoners alive

in Chinese forced labor camps for over a decade...

before they wither to death.

But not wanting to be outdone by North Korea,

either in cruelty or missile technology,

the Chinese regime is close to rolling out

its own ballistic missile capable of striking anywhere in the world.

They even broadcast a series of videos on state-run TV about it.

But don't worry.

The Chinese Communist Party is committed to world peace.

They only kill innocent people inside China.

Speaking of people inside China,

a Chinese court this week sentenced

a Taiwanese activist to five years in prison.

We talked about Lee Ming-che back in September.

Well this week he was found guilty of "subverting state power"

by promoting dangerous ideas in group messaging chats.

Ideas like like multi-party democracy.

His sentence has the bonus effect

of striking fear into the hearts of Chinese activists

and the people of Taiwan in general.

Instead of promoting multi-party democracy,

what Lee should have done,

is promote the system they already have in mainland China,

which is...multi-party cooperation.

You see, while China has eight political parties

other than the Chinese Communist Party,

the CCP is "the sole party exercising political leadership

in this system of multi-party cooperation."

Cooperation means that all the parties are equal.

The CCP is just more equal than everyone else.

And besides, everyone knows that Chinese people

aren't ready for democracy!

Unless they live in Taiwan…

And apparently Chinese people aren't ready

for violent video games, either.

That's why hit South Korean multiplayer shooter

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, or PUBG,

is coming to China...

with Chinese characteristics.

Chinese tech giant Tencent has bought the rights

to bring PUBG to China.

And they've agreed to make some changes

to the original South Korean version.

Chinese censors had said the game was

"too violent and said it would likely be blocked

because it 'severely deviates from socialist core values.'"

But what could be more in line with socialist core values

than violence and senseless killing?

Maybe they can just slap some

Communist Party flags in the background,

and then it will be ok.

That's at least what another video game company in China did.

I guess the blood just blends in.

And speaking of sticking to core values,

a Chinese scholar is criticizing India

for doing military drills in the Indian Ocean.

He says, "It should be stressed that

the Indian Ocean belongs to all mankind,

and India's actions are an attempt to

turn the ocean into India's territorial waters,

which is a violation of International Law."

All the world's oceans froze over in irony.

And the Trump Administration is making another move

against the Chinese regime for unfair trade practices.

The Commerce Department has officially launched

a probe into China's aluminum exports to the US.

If China is found to be dumping at prices

that are artificially low,

the US could impose tariffs.

And it's not just the US that's having trade trouble with China.

A group of German businesses is warning

that some German companies may pull out of China.

Why?

Because of "a request from the ruling Communist Party

to set up cells in their companies."

Apparently, there are already more than 100,000 foreign-invested companies in China

that have a Party secretary embedded within their staff.

It's something the Communist Party requires.

But hey, who doesn't want a Party in their company?

Oh, wait.

The Germans don't.

That actually makes sense.
