Ok the simple answer is no, you're not too old, and it's never too late to start dancing.

This applies to you whether you are 16 or 200 years old,

but we get asked this question almost everyday,

And I get it, you know. You watch dancers who are doing the things that you wish you were doing, or think about

all the things you want to be able to do in dance

and that makes you feel like you're behind.

But you're not behind anyone, or anything.

See, one of our minds most dangerous trap is that we always look back in our past

and regret the things that we didn't do instead of realizing that we can do those same things

for our future.

If you start today.

So instead of feeling like you're a year behind,

set a goal to achieve a year from today and start now.

Or maybe, you just feel old in general

and dancing is a "young persons" thing.

Well that's just not true either, there's no age police.

You can pick up new hobbies and skills, you can even start a brand new career

at ANY point in your life.

Vera Wang didn't become a designer until she was 40.

Colonel Sanders started KFC when he was 62.

Clay didn't stop peeing in his bed until he was like 23!

You do things because you love it. That's really the only rule there is in life.

And don't be daunted about how you should start dancing either.

You're already dancing in your car, while cleaning your house,

bopping your head when your favorite Cardi B song comes on the radio.

From here it's just a matter of learning a few basic steps, then creating habits

so that you can practice consistently. It's a lot easier to "start dancing" than

you would think, and you'll see progress a lot sooner than you would expect.

Hugh Jackman apparently he's gonna be in the movie according to Google now this

is a very interesting it's very interesting the famous actor Hugh

Jackman it's reported on we got this covered calm the Express which is a big

publication in England and the daily star literally everywhere this story is

everywhere so is it true most likely not why because we have the small fact that

Logan movie spoiler warning if you not watch that movie

Wolverine died in the Logan movie are they going to disrespect that movie just

to get him in Avengers for cameo role no not really and why is this come out just

before the new year it's a very it's very odd timing I mean obviously it's

been trended all over Twitter and it's all over Google for some reason but an

algorithm right if you don't know anything I could study computer science

at University so I know exactly how algorithms work right so I don't

understand how this is getting traction from anywhere because obviously how it

works is the more stories on news websites there are saying the same thing

the higher up the Google Pagerank or the ranking system I guess you could

say it would actually appear so in order for this to actually appear everywhere

we would need a lot of different publications and I've done a bunch of

research about this and no one is really saying anything they are saying that

somehow there's been some mistake about this now would I want you Jackman

to appear in Avengers 4 no because it would take away from the whole persona

that he died in the Logan movie which is pretty much my favorite movie of all

time when it comes to combat movie boring is my favorite hero ever I cried

during Logan but what I want Wolverine to be in the MCU at one day yes but it's

too soon so the internet seems to think that Hugh Jackman has an Avengers for

cameo role I mean realistically they've been trying it like Deadpool's been

trying to get Wolverine to do a movie with him then all of a sudden the

Internet is thinking that Wolverine Hugh Jackman is going to appear in Avengers 4

could the adder Hugh Jackman appear in Avengers in the game yes 100%

that is possible but will they stick a Fox character because it's still owned

by Fox at this present moment we all know that the x-men will be coming to

the MCU when the Fox Disney deal is done we're the Kevin Feige this week talking

about that they will be starting to do plans with the x-men in the first six

months and now mere days after we're getting stories saying that few Jackman

Wolverine will be appearing in Avengers 4 in the classical yellow suit no no I

mean if we didn't get the classical got yellow suit in the multiple x-men

Wolverine movies that we had then why really show up in a like in at the end

of the era you got to understand the Avengers end game is going to be ending

the MCU phase 3 it would really under shot oh everything because if Wolverine

was gonna be in it I mean realistic yes they could introduce Wolverine in this

movie because you gotta think is it's comic-book logic so anything is a fair

game but you've got a look at where all these are calls coming from now if you

actually do your research it's coming back we're on the 30th as of recording

this 30th Sunday morning as we record this and literally every it's everywhere

it's it's literally everywhere I I don't understand where it's coming from like I

said there's no end of websites we've got it covered Digital Spy com Screen

Rant news time absolutely everywhere and I didn't really want to make this video

because I know it's not true it's not it's happened but at the same time we

are a news based channel I guess you could say so what is going on here I

think what's happened here is somehow there's a story from somewhere because

you know the fake Deadpool image when you know they're on the baf the bass

technology scene when when AJ designs I believe it was some Instagram he

edited it in Deadpool into that scene and it's a classical image that God I've

seen so many images of Wolverine in the same scene so I think it's a classical

case of someone has reported a story but I can't actually I can't find out where

the whole story is coming from now the most reliable one is coming from Screen

Rant compain Google says through Jackman is going to be in Avengers 4 but if you

look into it there's not really much factual context because like I said it

wouldn't make any business sense for them to chuck any version of Wolverine

even though few Jackman is the greatest he is the goat of playing Wolverine he

is Wolverine it'd be like if anyone else other than Robert Downey jr. took on the

iron Monroe it just wouldn't be accepted it's not like the spider-man role where

any like Tom Dick and Larry can be spider-man Wolverine is is through

Jackman so it is interesting how they do have them listed on Google to be in

Avengers infinity War part 2 which is essentially Avengers 4 it doesn't really

make much sense so if anyone in the comment section can actually let me know

what's going on because I don't really think it's the algorithm that has messed

up because of how the Google Pagerank system works it's not the case of like

on social media when people hashtag stuff that's not how websites rank

things not like Google does not rank trendy subjects based on hashtags that's

not how websites work that's how Twitter Instagram YouTube and everything work

but not really for websites websites work on a much different scale obviously

the Google adamant is that a complex that no one would ever understand but

it's very interesting how Google has essentially trolled everyone I don't

know if the Russo brothers I've spoken to Google and said yeah can

you run a story saying that Hugh Jackman's gonna be in a movie because I

learn a lot more people with actually say but the fact that Kevin

Feige the head of the MTU she literally came out and said in the first six

months because what you got understand that is we still have the Dark Phoenix

movie to come out first and potentially the New Mutants movie I'm not really

sure if that's going to come out but essentially those two movies will end

the Fox x-men franchise before mr. Kevin Feige takes over

so if we have Wolverine appear in Avengers 4 before Dark Phoenix and New

Mutants then that'll be silly and obviously Disney a buying Fox of Fox's

already invested a lot of money time into developing these two movies so it

makes more business sense for Disney to let Fox release these movies first and

then then next manner anyone's game but they're not going to rush to x-men

obviously we've said how obviously Wolverine magneto everyone could be

introduced in the MCU but I find this this story fascinating because Logan

died in the Logan movie aka Wolverine so it would really mess up the timeline

because obviously that was a future story but where would Hugh Jackman

Wolverine fit into the MTU timeline is the MT time I'm even going to fit into

the Fox franchise are they gonna wreak on absolutely everything most likely I

can't really see any of them actors and guys if Hugh Jackman Wolverine is gonna

be the movie then why isn't Deadpool Ryan Reynolds gonna appear in this movie

cuz it would be pretty cool to get Deadpool and Hugh Jackman Wolverine in

Avengers for that we Orson for the fact that Hugh Jackman keeps turning down his

good friend Ryan Reynolds to make a movie with him and then Google is trying

to tell everyone that he's gonna appear in Avengers 4 it is pretty funny

so hopefully the title doesn't doesn't insult you guys too much but it's

everywhere so let's get some common thoughts of what people are actually

thinking about the potentiality of Wolverine appearing in Avengers 4 and

it's come out literally we're in December now the movie comes out April

the 26th four months before like I said the only possibility of this actually

happening guys would be a cameo role of Hugh Jackman

in some capacity that's the only realistic way and cameo roles are

generally secret they're secret remember when some people will try with this in

Thor 3 when we had a new version of Luke obviously I'm friends with all three

when Matt Damon played Loki you know that was kept pretty tight-lipped and

obviously when Brad Pitt played the Vanisher in Deadpool 2 that was kept

pretty tight lipped so my point is even if you Jackman it has got a secret cameo

role in this movie you won't know about it because you meant member Peter

Dinklage character in Avengers infinity war everyone knew he was in the movie

but nobody knew who he was playing - anyway guys please like subscribe and

Isaac Asimov's Predictions for 2019 - Duration: 15:55.

So here we are on New Year's Eve, getting ready to head into 2019, the 50th Anniversary

of the Moon Landings, but it also happens to be the 35th anniversary of an article Isaac

Asimov wrote on December 31st, 1983 for The Toronto Star, which they recently reprinted,

predicting the world of 2019.

We already did our year end episode, and for that matter our own predictions for 31 years

from now for the year 2050 a couple weeks back, but since Asimov is still the Grandmaster

of science fiction, even 27 years after his death, and my namesake, and since we're

skipping this month's livestream, it seemed worth taking a bit of time to look at the

world he saw for tomorrow.

On the eve of 1984 he starts off by noting that he picked 35 years ahead because George

Orwell's novel 1984 had just celebrated its 35th anniversary.

Interestingly it's also the year my favorite film, Blade Runner, is set in, which had come

out the year before.

Asimov definitely paints a more optimistic future than that film.

He begins by noting 3 concepts that had come to dominate our thinking at the time: Nuclear

War, Computerization, and Space Utilization.

He chooses to assume we won't have had a nuclear war by 2019, not because he thought

it unlikely but because he didn't see any point in examining a future where that happened.

Similarly he notes the possibility of a modern Luddite rebellion smashing up all our technology,

but focuses on a future where that does not occur.

His second prognostication, computerization, is unsurprising coming from the man who coined

the term robotics, and was indeed a dominant factor in the decades that followed.

Seems an obvious one nowadays, and in truth was hardly a shocking one then either.

Personal computers had started hitting the market a few years before, and Asimov himself

was the spokesman for Tandy/Radio Shack's TRS-80 computer, which had an amazing 4 Kilobytes

of RAM.

But he had been predicting that computerization would have a big impact on the future long

before 1983.

In addition to the term Robotics, he also coined the term Psychohistory, the notion

we'd predict large-population human behavior with computers.

It's true that we're nowhere near the accuracy Hari Seldon's work in the Foundation

Series would have required, and as we discussed in our episode on psychohistory, probably

can't be that accurate, but that series takes places tens of thousands of years in

the future, and we already do use computers to predict major trends in human behavior.

Asimov's third prognostication for 2019, space utilization, was, like most predictions

made about space travel shortly after the Apollo Missions, not wrong but a little optimistic

about the schedule.

He puts quite a focus on mining the moon and building power satellites, something we talked

about on the show quite a lot this year--and like Asimov then, we still talk about it as

something that might happen in a generation or two.

Perhaps they'll say the same in 2050, but putting too much emphasis on timelines being

pushed back is too cynical.

We do have a lot of tech that futurists of the past predicted.

Sometimes we get it sooner, sometimes later, sometimes never because we got something better

instead.

Sometimes it's just more complicated, after all space utilization or fusion power or robotics

are areas we've made huge strides in.

Maybe Asimov was so optimistic about the 'when' because he assumed that if we somehow didn't

obliterate ourselves in a nuclear war by 2019, it'd be because we'd managed to link arms

and start creating the future together.

Not many writers or futurists of that era imagined we'd neither destroy ourselves

nor unite in peace but keep grinding along just on the brink of wars for decades.

Call it the Fulcrum Fallacy, a tendency to assume the future will either be utopian or

dystopian, rather than somewhere in between but probably a little better overall than

before.

What I really want to focus on today are his predictions about what would become known

as the Digital Divide, between those who have computers, technology, and the skills to use

them, and those who do not.

As well as the importance he places on continuing education for new jobs, with more skills required

and less tedious, menial work involved.

Few of us would disagree with that, but I wanted to call my namesake out on what I see

as his one big error here--albeit one that I think most folks today still make.

Asimov states that he expects a lot of problems transitioning to this more automated and educated

society, but that it should be over by today.

It clearly is not over, and I think he missed the boat there by assuming it was a one-time

problem rather than one we expect to have constantly for quite some time to come.

He notes we've done it before, for the switch in focus from agriculture to industry a century

prior, but I think that's what causes his error here, because it wasn't a single event,

it's something we've been tackling as long as we've been around.

I note though that reaction and adaptation are hardly specific to improvements in technology,

so we screw up our thinking a bit by trying to look at change and adaptation as technology-specific.

A farmer or herder needed to think and adapt to more than just new plow designs or crops,

they had to adapt to localized climate changes, shifts in taxes or leadership, shifts in trade

or competition, supply and demand for what they produced or needed for that production,

and so on.

This is the human condition and not technology-specific, that's just a big factor and bigger focus

nowadays.

Twin to that, while the digital divide is real enough, it's just another in a long

line of specific factors that varies by time and place.

A Blacksmith working in a seaport was going to fare a lot better if he had some knowledge

of ships and what damage seawater does to metals and what techniques help minimize that,

while one working inland better know about plows and hoes and horseshoes, and both need

to know what their town needs and what their neighbors tend to need or produce already.

A hunter-gatherer needs to be constantly adapting to changes in migration, terrain, survival

in that terrain, what kind of arrowhead works better on a deer than a wolf or a marauder,

and which fruits and nuts and roots grow where, can be eaten or not, how they can be stored,

prepared, etc.

We are clever apes, we react, we tinker, we engage in abstract thought and we adapt, and

that's what made us dominant.

One other small mistake he made, another that many folks still make, is to say that while

new technology often eliminates many jobs, it always make new ones.

Of course many feel the error there is that it always makes new jobs, which we'll get

to in a moment, but he's confusing jobs with tasks, and I think a lot of folks do

that.

I mentioned earlier he was the spokesman for some early computers and he talked elsewhere

of being rather intimidated by them and taking quite some time to adjust to using a word

processor over a typewriter, indeed he never entirely did so.

That wasn't his job though, he was a writer, and it's really only when a very specific

task makes up the entirety of a job that technology can sweep a job away.

We don't have many typesetters anymore for instance.

Back in 1957, Asimov wrote a short story called Galley Slave, predicting the use of robots

to proofread books, a near miss on the prediction of spellcheck in word processors, though he

made up for that by his prediction of some of the frustration caused by speech to text

software in his Second Foundation novel.

Even a job synonymous with a task that seems to disappear often has not.

Take the milkman, eliminated by cheap refrigerators, cars, and grocery stores.

Only it wasn't, every grocery store still has milkmen, it's just that they have a

broader job as they have to stock several products, not just milk, and on the back end,

there are certainly plenty of folks still employed tending and milking cows and transporting

and processing that milk to get it to the store.

Modern methods might be eliminated down the road too, as the "milkman" may come back

in the form of delivery drones specialized to handle food items.

I would not be surprised if future houses start featuring a drone door or window for

securely and automatically dropping off goods unaided, or if cows are put out of business

by vat grown synthetic milk.

Grocery stores and retail in general, after exploding in size during the last century,

might wither during the next, as we discussed in the Santa Claus Machine a couple weeks

ago.

But the basic truth remains: we need food, it must be created, moved, stored, and prepared.

The individual tasks involved can vary a lot and change often, and sometimes jobs focused

on a specific task can simply end, but most often are merged into a broader job or use

fewer humans.

100 people did a specific task full time before, now only 10 do, or 100 do but they do a dozen

other tasks too.

They don't really get eliminated much because those core needs still exist and humans are

supremely flexible.

We don't have very many blacksmiths anymore but we produce far more -- and more sophisticated

-- metalwork.

So this goes to the notion that we'd eventually just have fewer jobs, not enough for everyone.

We can't automatically rule it out that one day, maybe even soon, our automation will

get so good that only specific intellectual and creative tasks will remain, and only the

best of the best at that specific area will have work.

Or even that creative jobs might be taken over by AI, but as long as we have things

we need and want we will simply expand into providing those.

Offices, factories, farms, etc all change their output and improve their product, creating

new tasks to fulfill expanded demand for a product or improvements to that product, or

new varieties.

We don't make phonographs or records much these days, but those were never the true

product; easy and quality access to music was.

Yet that looming possibility of no jobs tends to imply something a bit sinister, the notion

that the Digital Divide or wealth stratification will reach a point where an elite few have

everything and the rest have nothing, either no work or make-work made because the aristocrat

would rather have someone scrubbing their floors instead of machines that do it better

and cheaper.

Ignoring the very cynical attitude implied there, which I tend to think says more about

the speaker's mind and behavior than their targets, it doesn't really hold up to inspection.

Asimov, like many of the folks of his period, also expressed concerns about over-population

and we see in a lot of science fiction this dystopian culture born out of technology and

fear.

He tended to be more optimistic than many others, but it's still there.

This notion that an elite few might have all the benefits of technology while others did

not, when historically what has usually happened is the elite few get it first, and as they

use those prototypes, the tech gets better and cheaper, while the benefits of that tech

and others make people more prosperous on the whole, so more can easily afford that

now-cheaper widget.

If you've got a machine that can do all or most other tasks we need people for now,

including building other machines, it's true that you don't need many or even any

workers anymore, but what it overlooks is that all you have to do, just one person and

one single time, is tell that machine to build a copy of itself and donate it to someone,

and tell them to pay it forward.

An unemployed society is not in itself a bad thing, but a starving society is, and you

can only get an unemployed society if you've eliminated a need for workers, which can only

happen if you don't need anyone to work to fulfill anyone's needs.

All the indications are that people will always need people to do the newest and most varied

jobs, so perhaps the real fear is simply the fear of change.

Now that level of automation has its own potential problems, like a potentially hedonistic civilization,

something we discussed in the Post-Scarcity Civilizations series this year and which Asimov

discusses in many of his robot stories.

But looking at his predictions for 2019, and his stories in general, something like 500

books as the man could write like a demon, he is often criticized for being too optimistic

about technology and the human future.

I'd go the other way.

If the aptly-titled Grandmaster of Science Fiction had one fault, I'd say it's that

he was a bit too pessimistic about people in general.

I, of course, often get accused of the reverse, but I go into this New Year as optimistic

as in previous ones, exactly because I tend to think humans on average are rather smart,

adaptable, forward-thinking, and have good intentions.

There's always some new problem over the horizon, but we've done well at tackling

those and making things better for everyone.

Admittedly not always as good as we could, but I think that we will continue to improve.

On space and New Horizons in general, we're still not quite done for the year . I'll

be making a short appearance on Launch Pad Astronomy's 24-hour livestream from APL

hosted by astronomer Christian Ready as the New Horizons space probe makes its rendezvous

with Ultima Thule.

Streaming will be from noon on New Year's eve to noon on New Year's day, Eastern US

time, and will be having a lot of guests, including our good friends Fraser Cain and

John Michael Godier.

Times are still a bit tentative as I write this, but I should be on at 3:45 pm Eastern,

December 31st, and it should be an exciting event.

Hey to anyone visiting from subscribestar, and to those who are just curious as to what the video's about!

Now I'd gone on a half hour talk about this

originally before deciding maaaybe I should cut it back to closer to five minutes, so

we'll see how this goes. First off, I'm Catreece MacLeod, and I'm currently

working on the tabletop role playing game of Saorsa. Now, I have the better part of

a decade in experience with game design, and longer than that with writing and world design.

Most of that experience has been with video games, which puts me at a bit of a unique

advantage in the TTRPG market in that video games are substantially farther ahead in terms

of things like player psychology. Like decades ahead of TTRPGs, it's kind of an unfair comparison

at this point. I haven't been able to transfer over all of

that design knowledge, but I'd say a good 80% still holds true between the mediums,

and after looking through my competition in TTRPG design market, well... let's just say the industry

is sorely in need of someone with cross-experience from video games to fix some lingering issues

which have been around for decades. I'm just uniquely qualified to deal with a lot of these

issues since I have the experience in other areas of design and don't have my hands tied

by corporate interests putting profits before gameplay. As it stands, pretty much the entire

industry is either inexperienced or restricted by their producers, or limited to rules-lite

games, which isn't really offering a whole lot of options for a top-tier RPG to make

its way to the market. I can change this, and so I am.

So... why subscribestar? I mean, looking at my older videos I had a patreon logo all over them, so what gives?

Well, first off, let's cover the alternatives

- I've run a kickstarter campaign before when working at the now-defunct Spicy Rocket Studios,

and learned that you basically need a team of about 4 people to run the kickstarter itself,

otherwise it'll cut severely into the time needed to make the game itself. There's no real point

in having the money if you have no time to actually spend it on making the game.

Since this is a one-woman operation, I just don't have the time to do it.

I could write up a business plan easily and send it to a bank or other investor, but then they

have the Saorsa IP to hold hostage and may try to force an early release or start making

decisions based on profit that harm the game itself so I'm not willing to risk that.

Same thing with various publishers, so I'm going to have to do this though a more open-model

like Patreon or Subscribestar. The thing is, patreon's started showing its

ideological fanaticism, and once someone starts doing that, we've seen where it goes countless

times in the past. First they go after a few big, obvious heavy hitters to make an example

of them, and then they use that as a precedent to start bullying others into compliance with

their dogma. I'm heavily biased towards free speech, and I don't want the snowflakes screwing

with my game any more than I want the corporations doing so, and as such patreon's just not a

valid option for me any longer. The quality of the game has to come first

and foremost before anything else. There are too many other games that have been held back

as it is, and there seriously needs to be a singular example which is so much higher

quality than everything else on the market that it can drag the entire industry kicking

and screaming into the modern era. Sooo to that end, I need your help. I can

do the game design part - at this point, Saorsa's in the late alpha testing stages and is already

at curbstomping levels of quality compared to its opposition, but even through the generous

donations I've received already and my own life savings poured into it, there are still

some few things that are out of my price range currently. I need a lot more artwork than

I have so far, and at some point I'm going to need a quality editor because it's nearly

impossible to edit your own work. I'd also like localization for other languages but

to get the good quality stuff isn't cheap. In addition to that, it'd be kiiiind of nice

if I made enough to cover things like, you know, rent, food and so on, so I can produce more content

full-time. I designed Saorsa so I can produce additional expansions at a rate of about one

per 2-3 months by myself, where I can just build entire new worlds with heaps of lore,

new game mechanics and so on. I've also worked as a ghostwriter in the past and have a few

novels lined up I'd like to get out as well set within Saorsa's setting, so this all means

I need money to do so. The base game of Saorsa itself will be free

to play - donations are appreciated, and I fully expect with a high enough quality level

people will literally be going "Shut up and take my money!" - but I'd really like to not

have to rely on the hope of such. If I could get an actually steady income stream from this, not

only could I reduce the costs of expansion content significantly, if I meet my goal of

about $2,000 USD per month, I should be set to just release all future content free of charge.

Anyway, you'll be getting by far the highest

quality tabletop RPG on the market free of cost whether you support me or not, but it'll

look prettier, probably have a nicer layout and get potentially free expansion content

if you do support me. Plus all the subscriber benefits, such as early alpha access of new content.

So tell me about this.

So I'm from Salt Lake City, Utah, and this is a

tradition back home when you graduate people will make you leis and sometimes

there'll be candy sometimes it'll be money just different things in them and

it's just one thing that my family came out and they wanted to kind of keep the

tradition going.

So what was your experience at Newman like?

I loved it. I transferred from a junior college and both of them were small private

schools and it's just something that I really enjoyed. The community feel and

the small classrooms, and the teachers were wonderful. I loved it.

Were you also an athlete?

Yes, I was I was a baseball player. I enjoyed it. I

mean playing baseball and the NCAA is always fun, no

matter what division you're at. And I just was trying to find the perfect fit

for me, and Newman was that fit.

Academically, did you find it to be kind

of a challenge? Did you find it to be a good fit for you? Did you learn

what you wanted to learn?

I thought it was a very good fit. The junior college I

went to was a top academic junior college in the country so that was that

school is really hard and so I think it kind of made Newman a little bit easier

for me. It made things easier for me getting my

bachelor's degree. Then I mean it's just enjoyable. I want to be able to work

in a Recreation Department kind of help kids enjoy sports the way I did as a kid

and I mean without sports I wouldn't have been able to go to school, and so I

kind of want to be able to give that opportunity back to the youth.

2019 has finally arrived and what better way to kick off the new year

than with a stimulating discussion on prophecies and predictions,

by prophets past and present.

Like Nostradamus, Baba Vanga, Ingersoll Lockwood, Edgar Cayce,

and Mark Taylor who have all shared notable degrees of accuracy thus far in their respective areas of sight.

And while we're at it, let's look just a bit further down the road

For instance. Will there be a new form of energy that comes from..Venus?

Will Trump return our dollar to the gold standard?

Will communism fall in China,

allowing citizens to find a new spiritual awakening?

Could there be bankruptcy in store for the mainstream media?

Will we finally be able to hire an assistant to free up Ben and Rob to make EOW even better in 2019 and Beyond?

Happy New Year everybody! We actually made it to 2019 if you can believe that.

Last year was the craziest year ever, I can't believe we made it this far,

And what is 2019 gonna have in store for us?

That's exactly what this episode is about.

Exactly, so Ben to celebrate the new year,

I've got a couple of things for ya, I'm scared.

Here put on that little guy, and I got you something else too.

Give me your glasses, just a little makeover here.

Now you're in style man, you look like a cowboy version of Johnny Depp,

Well Rob, to celebrate this occasion, I actually got you something too

Cuz I know how much you'll love my hat.

So first actually, let me give you this,

I can't celebrate new year without one of these.

I got you your very own hat as well.

Oh my goodness, now we can be hat brothers together.

Yes. although moustache isn't staying very long.

Oh my gosh, I look like a pathetic version of Macho man Randy Savage right now.

I kind of look like a young version of Elton John,

You do. You mean sir Elton John right? Sir Elton John yes.

I don't think doing the entire episode like this is really gonna work, so

Why don't we get into our other costumes.

Well guys, 2019 has finally arrived and what better way to kick off the new year

than seeing what predictions and prophecies were made by folks from the past and present.

We'll talk about some predictions that some people have gotten right so far

and predictions that said may happen in the near future mainly this year.

And I'm sure some of them will blow your mind, so let's get to it!

Well let's see where we should start … Wouldn't be right if we didn't hit you up with some Nostradamus.

Right … many of you have heard of Nostradamus

the 14th century French physician and seer.

He's most famous for his book Les Propheties,

prophecies in the form of qua-trains that have accurately predicted future events.

For instance … have you ever heard of the "Great Fire of London",

the French Revolution, the Rises of Napoleon .

Adolf Hitler, both world wars,

the nuclear destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to name a few…

However, some still debate over whether he got 9/11 right.

The particularly startling Quatrain 10-72 boldly puts a year and a month to the prediction:

In the year 1999, seventh month,

From the sky will come a great King of Terror,

In order to bring back to life the great king of Angolmois,

Before and after Mars reigns in the name of bringing people happiness.

Now there are many interpretations of this quatrain

and many people even thought that maybe he was talking about a comet

that was supposed to hit earth during this time.

However, from our research it most likely refers to a major event

that took place in China in the year 1999 and the seventh month (i.e. July)

which was the the crackdown of the persecution of millions of Falun Gong practitioners in China,

which still continues to this day.

It was started by the leader of China at the time Jiang Zemin,

who by the way also approved the order for the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989.

And for those who may not know,

"The great king of terror" alludes to the antichrist or some kind of great evil.

The great king of Angolmois referring to the anagram of the word to be Mongolais

which would point to a 'king' or a leader of the Mongolian people

and the resurrection of the second coming.

Finally, comes the phrase Before and after Mars reigns,

which we believe Nostradamus could actually be referring to how Marxism is now practiced worldwide

with the vile communist idea of 'liberating mankind',

by falsely promising happiness to the people in which this manifests in the west

as society's social sustaining welfare through heavy taxation.

So another words, the great King or the second coming will come because of the rise of communism in the world.

Now if this is what he was referring to than that must mean we are really in the end times,

since communism is everywhere and than these puzzle pieces are starting to fit together

and it is shocking how fitting and relevant the quatrain is to this day.

So y'all are probably thinking well that's cool, but tell us about 9/11.

Well geez this is a 2019 prophecies episode but these next predictions include both.

Before she died, Baba Vanga, a blind Bulgarian mystic, clairvoyant, and herbalist,

known as the "Nostradamus from the Balkans"

foretold events up to until the 51st century,

when she believed the world would end.

Some of the prophecies that have been fulfilled are one made in 1980

"At the turn of the century, in August of 1999 or 2000,

Kursk will be covered with water, and the whole world will be weeping over it."

The Kursk she referred to was the Russian nuclear submarine K-141, it sank in the barents sea,

killing all 118 personnel on board on August 12th 2000,

the Nato name for it was Oscar II."

Another one of her fulfilled prophecies she spoke of in 1989:

"Horror, horror"! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds.

The wolves will be howling in a bush,

and innocent blood will be gushing."

Of course we all know what happened on September 11th, 2001,

two planes hit the World Trade Center

She also predicted that from 2018 to 2023:

"a new form of energy" will be discovered on Venus".

What? Venus? The last we heard about Venus was that in 2014,

NASA had plans to explore Venus in a manned spaceship.

Or maybe they already went and found something that already came out of that trip,

but they're just hiding it from us … I guess we'll have to wait and see …

Actually, you know what Rob, there's this thing called the 'Venus Project,' that started in 1995,

(not sure if you've heard about it) I have not.

but the center is based in Venus, Florida,

and their mission from their website says that's it's an organisation that,

"proposes a feasible plan of action for social change,

a holistic global socio-economic system called a Resource Based Economy;

that works towards a peaceful and sustainable global civilization."

And guess what, one of their goals is also creating clean renewable sources of energy like how Baba Vanga predicted!

Baba Vanga! Wow even their architecture looks like something that could be found on Venus,

could it be a coincidence? Maybe Valient Thorr is helping them out.

Maybe, you never know.

You all are gonna love this next prophecy if you haven't heard it already.

Author Ingersoll Lockwood wrote a few books that many have been drawing parallels to recent events.

Lockwood wrote "Baron Trump and his Marvelous Underground Journey" which published in 1893!

It outlines adventures of a rich young boy named Wilhelm Heinrich Sebastian Von Trump

who lives in Castle Trump in New York and has a mentor named Don

known in the book as "masters of all masters." What the heck.

Well, guess what? Most of you probably already know that President Donald Trump's son is named…

Barron William Trump!

Lockwood also wrote '1900 or The Last President' in 1896

and its plot will definitely seem awfully similar to the modern day events or events to come.

"Mobs of vast size are organizing under the lead of Anarchists and Socialists

and threaten to plunder of despoil the houses of the rich who have wronged and oppressed them for so many years"

The mobs screams "Down with our oppressors! Death to the rich man!"

it also says "The Fifth Avenue Hotel will be the first to feel the fury of the mob."

That kind of sounds like Anti-Fa, very similar.

What's even more uncanny is that the date of the described event was Tuesday, November 3rd.

If you can believe it the next 11/3 that falls on Tuesday

will occur on 2020 when the next presidential election will take place.

It says: "That was a terrible night for the great City of New York

the night of Tuesday, November 3rd, 1896."

"After being elected, the president appoints a man to his Cabinet with the surname of Pence."

Pence?! This is bizarre. So specific and in 1896.

More of a stretch, the president's best friend "Tillman"

is omitted from the list of names in the appointed cabinet members

a man with a similar surname to Rex W. Tillerson, who Trump fired on March 13, 2018.

The president also drafts an executive order a year after his election on March 4th detailing

"the immediate abandonment of the so-called "gold reserve" and that on and after the promulgation of this order,

the gold and silver standard of the Constitution be resumed

and strictly maintained in all the business transactions of the Government".

Which all seems to be in the process right now.

Lockwood may be foretelling that we'll also abandon the current federal reserve

and adopt a gold and silver standard once again.

But the really interesting thing is when this was written the Federal Reserve Bank wasn't in existence yet,

so it almost seemed as if he knew a central banking system would soon rise.

Ben I think we're the gold and silver standard.

Actually you really can't get any weirder than this one.

If you read through that, I mean it's so accurate to what's going on.

And that's where people hints at the point where is Trump a time traveler?

We'll go there maybe in some episode.

Not yet, not for this one.

We'll have to combine the Simpsons into that episode.

I'm sure you guys will like that. Alright let's get into the next one.

For those who might be unfamiliar with his work, Edgar Cayce,

known to many as the "Sleeping Prophet," or the "Father of Holistic Medicine,"

became the most documented psychic of the 20th century.

Many of the prophecies that he predicted have been fulfilled.

He conducted psychic "readings" to thousands of people over the 40 years of his adult life,

diagnosing illnesses and looking into people's pasts and futures.

One of Cayce's prophecies that came true is the stock market crash of 1929.

Four years prior, in 1925 Cayce told a young physician

that he would acquire a great deal of money and told him to exercise caution and discretion

because of "adverse forces that will come then in 1929."

He also predicted World War II and even names the countries and how the Nazi will be at the center of it all,

the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls,

partial discovery of the Lost City of Atlantis,

which happened in the 2000's and even a pole shift.

In relation to the shifting of the poles the question was "What great change or the beginning of what change,

if any, is to take place in the earth in the year 2,000 to 2,001 A.D.?"

In repose Cayce said: "When there is a shifting of the poles; or a new cycle begins."

Now we know the Earth's poles are currently shifting however,

no one seems to know when exactly it will take place.

Some scientists are very concerned and others like NASA say it won't happen till about 200 years.

However, we are long overdue as they usually occur every 250,000 years or so

if you go back about 500 million years and the last one we had was over 800,000 years ago.

But we cover a lot of this in our pole shift episode.

Now another one of his visions include China gradually becoming more spiritual

and the height of civilization moving from the West to the China.

As China develops further spiritually as Cayce saw in 1943,

these changes would give way to democracy and greater religious freedom.

How we understand it is as a whole the Chinese people will return to their roots in faith,

morality, and traditional culture or "as applied in the lives of men."

And this does go along with Nostradamus as well.

What makes Edgar Cayce compelling is that when he was asked how he was gifted psychic abilities,

His response was surprisingly simple, "become more spiritual".

Edgar Cayce was also a devoted churchgoer who read the Bible for every day of his life.

So now let's mention a modern day prophet still living today

who you might find very interesting because they have predicted what happened before

and what will happen very soon.

You may have heard of Mark Taylor, a retired firefighter,

who wrote The Trump Prophecies and predicted Trump's presidency on April 28,2011,

4 years before he announced it in New York City on June 16th, 2015

and over 5 years before the presidential election on November 8, 2016.

Mark said he had a very powerful dream in which God appeared to him

and told him to write things down in which so far many things have came true.

On April 28th 2011, Mark made a prediction: "America will be respected once again as the most powerful,

prosperous nation on Earth other than Israel.

The dollar will be the strongest it has ever been in the history of the United States

and will once again be the currency by which all others are judged…"

Now, the dollar is now the highest it's been in over a year.

He also foresaw that in this past election

Trump's opposition would spend billions to keep him from winning the president election.

Such as Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign alone raised over a billion dollars

and as we all know, it didn't pan out well for them did it.

That's for sure.

Taylor expected the media and his political opponents to show Trump in a bad light.

Well, it did happen. Trump got an estimated five billion dollars in free or earned media,

according to data from tracking firm mediaQuant and none of the accusations stuck or amounted to much.

Well, he's got a bunch of other prophecies,

some of which haven't been completely fulfilled yet.

On October 7th, 2015, that's my birthday, he wrote that "The Supreme Court shall lose three,

and my President shall pick new ones directly from MY TREE".

So get this… four months later,

Antonin Scalia passed away on February 13,2016

to be succeeded by Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch.

On February 24, 2016, he updated the prediction about the court and says that "5, that's right,

5 Supreme Court Justices will be appointed by my new president, my anointed"

and here's a big one… he also added that Roe v. Wade will be overturned.

So we've all heard the news by now,

Anthony Kennedy retired on July 31st this year.

Trump appointed Brett Kavanaugh and then,

Associate Justice Kavanaugh was sworn in on October 6th.

so here's the exciting part—Mark Taylor has a few prophecies that haven't come true yet,

but if he keeps up his track records, some pretty mind-blowing things might happen.

On October 19, 2016,he foresaw that America and Russia will band together

and fight against the New World Order in the form of ISIS,

the Illuminati, Globalists, and the Elite.

That's what's kind of happening in the way.

He also said that ISIS is trying to rise up like Nazis did in WWII. No surprise there.

we got another one—on December 12, 2016,

Taylor again transcribed what he heard from the voice of God:

"For America and lsrael will now be the top energy producers in the world…"

Yeah, Israel's been on a streak since it struck a $15 billion dollar deal to export its natural gas to Egypt.

"and a massive volcanic eruption will signal that this is the time for my America and lsrael and the end of the energy corruption."

Energy corruption? So he must be referring to OPEC again.

Last and certainly not least— on July 7th, 2017,

Taylor envisioned that "news outlets will go down, bankrupt"

and be replaced with a new media organizations that will report the truth.

Just kidding, we're probably not that media.

I don't think so, but we're already seeing lots of brave news outlets

and even smaller media like us, who are willing to report the truth to the people,

because we believe that people deserve the truth.

Right no more fake news.

We didn't know about Mark when we started

but we are trying to do our best to play our part in helping you guys enlighten to the truth.

Yep that is for sure and the Truth is…… We look ridiculous in these outfits

HOLES SCRIPT (PLOT HOLES)

After analyzing the failures plot Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and now Inception, or origin, may seem to have something against Cristopher Nolan, but no, just the opposite.

I think a very competent director and his films very interesting and witty.

This particular seems great, but that does not mean that many of the scripts of this director are a fucking gruyere cheese. Let's see what's wrong.

THE PLOT

The plot seems complex, but it really is simpler than it seems.

A Japanese businessman named Saito needs out of the way the owner of the rival company, Robert Fischer, and for it decides to hire Dominic Cobb,

an expert spy of mind to deploy at the opponent's an idea, to sell the company as supposedly wants his dying father.

Everyone says that implementation or inception, or origin, as they call it, is impossible. However, Cobb believes in it, mostly because it proved, with his wife Mallorie.

Well, things did not go too well for her. He killed himself and did believe that the murderer was him, and now will not let him enter the United States to see their children.

In exchange for the inception, Saito promises to move its influence to remove all the charges. I think it would be much easier to make the children move with him to another country, but good.

Cobb accepts the deal and start gathering a group of oneironauts to carry out the plan. Ariadne, the architect, Eames, the forger, Arthur, researcher and Yusuf, the chemist.

THE WORLD OF DREAMS

The first thing that comes to mind is ... Where do these machines so that several people can share dreams?

Why they connect intravenously? Would not it be more logical neuronal helmet or some shit like that?
