Extraterrestrials And The Founding Fathers of America
by Cristina Valenzuela
How are they connected? In many, many more ways than I could have ever imagined.
Just prior to the Revolutionary War, a club of industrialists, natural philosophers, and
intellectuals would meet once a month during the full moon. They called themselves the
Lunar Society. Upon meeting, they would discuss new scientific ideas, life on other
planets and how they could create a United States that would be different from other
countries. Members included Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson.
Ben and Tom Pondering Life On July 4th 1776, the colonies formally severed
their ties to England. The men behind this movement were the founding fathers. In the
words of the Declaration of Independence, they had risked their lives, their fortunes
and their sacred honor, on an Ideal. These men now looked to create not only a new nation,
but a new world. Unlike the monarchies of Europe and Asia, the new American government
would be based on the ancient philosophies of Greece and Rome. During these times, horse-drawn
travel was slow. This provided for ample reading time, which was spent on many Ancient Greek
classics. Subsequently, how did they go about founding the United States? They did so using
principles of the ancient world. Having a bunch of men, geniuses in their own right,
at all levels, gathered at one point in time, trying to come up with a new experiment for
humanity. The ancient Romans used the term Fortunameaning when the gods conspire on your
behalf.
After the war, on July 16th 1790, plans were announced for a national capital. This would
be built along the banks of the Potomac River. Named after George Washington, the new nations
first President, it would be designed to resemble classic Greco-Roman architecture.
But why?
What was the reason behind the founding fathers near obsession with the ancient world?
In the 4th and 5th century B.C, there was a very active debate in regards to Extraterrestrial
life and the plurality of worlds. (The definition of plurality is fact of being numerous.) For
our founding fathers, this idea was well known as one of the corner stones of ancient philosophy.
The popularity of this idea grew tremendously in the 18th century, also known as the Age
of Enlightenment. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Enlightenment The Enlightenment was basically a social movement
aiming to look at the universe in a more rational way. At the end of this period, the idea of
life on other worlds was very widespread. It is said this idea shows up in at least
50% of writings by scientists, political theorists, philosophers and literary people of the time.
One of the most prominent astronomers of all time, William Herschel, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Herschel
was no different. In his mind, life existed on other planets. This is the same guy who
discovered Uranus, as well as a few moons of Jupiter and Saturn. He also built hundreds
of telescopes, including the largest of its day. This was a 40-foot long reflecting telescope,
an enormous instrument anywhere in the world at the time. He was a human that now had the
ability to see the amazing wonders that lie in the universe overhead. In todays world
we can visit N.A.S.As website and view amazing images provided by Hubble telescope,
but imagine seeing such mind-blowing sights 100+ years ago. Herschel was instrumental
in furthering the debate of Extraterrestrial life, but perhaps most influential of all
was Benjamin Franklin.
Herschels Telescope
Benjamin Franklin, known to some as the First American, was an author, a printer, a scientist,
an inventor, a politician and a statesman. For Benjamin Franklin, a profound thinker
and an intellectual, belief in Extraterrestrial life was part of a scientific view of the
world. Seeking a way to share his views, he wrote his own book called Poor Richards Almanac.
He suggests in this writing that other planets are indeed habitable and other beings are
present there. Interestingly, he presents this information almost as if it were a fact.
There was no question IF life existed elsewhere. In his mind, life DID exist elsewhere.
In 1728, he wrote For I believe that Man is not the most perfect Being but One, rather
that as there are many Degrees of Beings his Inferiors, so there are many Degrees of Beings
superior to him. Think about that.
The ancient philosophers were not the only influence on the founding fathers idea of
extraterrestrial life.
The Native Americans they encountered, not only shared the belief that life exists throughout
the universe, but even believed they were the descendants of extraterrestrials. Benjamin
Franklin found himself deeply interested in the star legends of the Native Americans,
as well as legends of the Iroquois confederacy. From 1730 to 1760, Franklin published his
Indian Treatys, in which he frequently described explanations of Native culture.
One of his best-selling Pamphlets chronicled the Iroquois creation story of the Sky Woman.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atahensic This story describes how before the Earth became
what it is today; there were beings similar to us living in the sky. One day, the young
Sky Woman becomes pregnant, and later descends to the world below, giving birth to the human
race.
Freemasonry:
Sky woomen Fredericksburg, VA. 1752. 20-year old George
Washington is initiated into a secret society, the Freemasons. Among his fellow members are
many other founding fathers, like Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock and Paul Revere.
What is freemasonry? What roll did it play in the founding of the United States? What
meanings lie behind their many mysterious symbols? What we know for a fact is during
the Age of the Renaissance, people started to study ancient civilizations and see if
there was any knowledge in the civilizations that had been lost. According to experts,
the Freemasons believe in the idea of acquiring knowledge largely through scientific as well
as spiritual means. In the age of enlightenment, this included examining the possibility of
extraterrestrial life.
Freemasonry was the main vehicle that brought the ideas and principles of the Enlightenment
into the new world. You had the most prominent citizens become Freemasons and then associate
with one another. They would be discussing the major issues of the day, and certainly
the speculations of the plurality of worlds. Could the growing belief in the possibility
of extraterrestrial life have influenced the founding fathers vision of America? In terms
of the declaration of independences 56 signers, 9 were Freemasons. Of the Constitutions
39 signers, 13 were Freemasonsa clear one third .
But does this influence of freemasonry explain why the masonic values are woven into the
principles of Americans most important documents? Could this also explain how and why masonic
symbols can be found on much of the nations monuments and architecture?
In the design of Washington, the language of symbols is very important and thats
where we find connections with Freemasonry. The original universal symbol of Freemasonry
is the Square and Compass. The Compass is the main tool of the individual. You are at
the point.
The idea is the individual is Sovereign, having supreme rank or power. You draw a circle around
you using the compass. If you go beyond the perimeters, thats when you start going
into knowledge and light. The square is a symbol of knowledge and wisdom. The Letter
G stands for the Grand Architect of the universe. People have to wonder whether
Benjamin Franklins belief of the existence of other worlds somehow made it into masonic
symbolism.
Square and Compass The same people who were involved in the development
of Freemasonry were very interested in Egypt, being inspired by the idea of ancient wisdom.
Other masonic symbols found in Washington DC are eerily similar to the icons of ancient
Egypt icons, including the Sphinx, the Obelisk, the Pyramid and the All-Seeing Eye. If you
pull out a dollar bill and turn it on its back, you see a great pyramid with a gleaming
All-Seeing Eye at the top. Was this a reference to how the ancient civilizations were divine
in nature, and how the founding fathers wanted to recreate that here in the United States?
There is a belief that this gathering of great minds did not just happen, that it was in
fact necessary to help the human condition make a major leap.
Why did this group of 18th century men, who set out to build a nation out of principles
of logic and reason, attach such an importance to pre-Christian symbols and mysticism? Who
and what did they believe was watching over them? God or something else?
According to Ancient Astronaut theorists, the answer can be found in an 1866 lithograph
of George Washington as a Freemason, which resides in the Library of Congress. Over his
right shoulder is a picture of Jacobs Ladder ascending to heaven with what seems to be
some sort of spaceship in the sky. In the biblical story from Genesis 28, Jacob witnesses
angels ascending and descending from heaven. But in this painting, the ladder does not
come from Heaven. Rather, it comes from a dark round object emitting multi-colored lights.
Although Jacobs Ladder is a popular symbol of freemasonry, is it possible this image
is depicting something else? Something of extraterrestrial origin?
According to the Ancient Astronaut ideas, Jacobs Ladder was nothing more than a ladder
in which to reach the realm of the gods. The belief is that these gods were in fact extraterrestrials.
Jacobs Ladder
Pleiades Constellation What do all these symbols reveal about the
true origins of the United States of America? Ancient Astronaut theorists dont only point
to the presence of masonic symbols and pre-Christian influences as evidence of the founding fathers
extraterrestrial connections, they also find proof in the fact that even the very layout
of Washington DC points to the stars.
According to scholars, the nations capital has been steeped in ancient symbolism since
its inception. Ancient astronaut theorists point to the citys tallest structure, the
Washington monument, as proof that the American capital was built with a deliberate eye to
the stars. Although construction began in 1858, over 50 years after George Washingtons
death, the Freemasons built the Egyptian style monument so the constellation Pleiades would
be visible directly over the giant obelisk. Pleiades is a group of 7 bright stars, which
ancient Egyptians used to figure out all sorts of judgments to be made in many different
things. In the ancient world, in places of great power and great influence, they built
monuments aligned with the Pleiades. The Washington Monument is aligned with Pleiades. Coincidence?
In a city largely built to evoke ancient cities like Athens and Rome, is the dominant architectural
structure based on an icon of ancient Egypt? It is the largest obelisk in the world, standing
550 tall. It draws the eye, and it draws it upward. The ever reflecting pool, why? To
reflect the Obelisk. Washingtons Monument points to the heavens. With the reflecting
pool, it points below. There is a direct correlation between what happens here below, and up
there.
The Washington Monument Its not just the placement of the Washington
monument and the capital building that point to the stars, but the layout of the entire
city which hearkens back to ancient cities like Egypt, Greece and Rome. Washington DC
Is laid out in perfectly straight lines radiating from different little hubs around the city,
converging at different places like the capital building and the white house. It is a revelation
of clarity that highlights the cornerstone of American democracy. Its virtually a
1010 square-mile diamond matrix, in which the founding fathers believed they could pour
all their enlightenment teachings into, which turned out to be focused very much in symbolism.
President Washington chose another Freemason, Pierre Charles LEnfant to create a layout
of the city within this 10 mile diamond. A scientific, rational way was used in developing
the city of Washington. Using geometric shapes, they emphasized that this new form of government
was not going to rely on religion; rather it is going to rely on reason and scientific
discovery. There is no other capital city designed like this. There is no question the
main triangle at the heart of the city was a key feature, connecting it to the white
house and then the Washington monument.
Hubs & Geometric Layout
Some historians believe the triangle found in the middle of Washington DC represent the
square and compass, symbolizing the founding fathers search for enlightenment from above.Ancient
astronaut theorists claim beyond this triangle, lies an even more significant shape, that
of a Pentagram. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were both expert surveyors and mapmakers,
and were hands on in the design of the Washington capital. Some speculate Washington and Jefferson,
who was an architect who even built Monticello, built this star in case of an extraterrestrial
visitation, in hopes the star would be recognized and symbolize our respect for extraterrestrial
life.
Did the design and placement of the Washington Monument, Capitol Hill and the National Mall
really reflect the founding fathers belief in extraterrestrial forces? Perhaps the answer
can be found with by a close examination of the capital building itself and the strange
connections to other worlds that can be found inside.
Jenkins Hill, Washington D.C 1791- Pierre LEnfant declares this a pedestal waiting
for a monument. For the next 2 years he works close with Washington and Jefferson
to design the building that would sit atop this hill and house the United States Congress.
On Sept 18 1793, the day of the Autumn Equinox Washington lays the cornerstone for the capital
building and Jenkins Hill official becomes Capitol Hill, the heart of a new democracy. The
concept of the ancient and sacred hill was deeply in the minds of the founding fathers,
with even Monticello being built on a mound.
But was the design and placement of the capital building really influenced by alien beings?
Ancient astronaut beings point to evidence in the form statute that still sits atop the
Capitol Dome, the Freedom Statue. It was placed there after the dome was completed in 1866.
Its a 19ft tall statue of a Goddess who is actually morphing into an Eagle. In Ancient
Alien theory, alien gods were portrayed as Eagle headed. Is freedom being referenced
here as a star being?
Underground inside, directly in line with the Freedom Statue, is an empty tomb that
had been designed to hold the remains of George Washington. One floor above it is the Crypt,
than the Capitol Rotunda. Soaring 180 feet above this is a painting of George Washington
looking very much like an ancient god. It is called the Apotheosis of Washington. Its
an enormous painting that depicts Washington in a very interesting setting. It was completed
by Constantino Brumidi in 1865. The word Apotheosis is a Greek word, meaning to to raise from
a man to a god-man. He is depicted as you would see a god. He is sitting in clouds with
what looks like angels surrounding him as well as a rainbow under his feet.
There is another depiction of Washington that specifically depicts him as a Divine figure.
Congress authorized an incredible statue by Greenough, in which he is depicted as Zeus.
The statue has several key features which identify him as a man of peace and a conductor
of heaven and Earth. His sword is offered to the viewer of the statue, indicating he
is here in peace. On the side of the statue, there is a very important representation of
the god Apollo riding his sun chariot, or star chariot. Was Washington some sort of
cosmic being riding through the heavens in his own star chariot? It is depicted so.
Weve gone from Benjamin Franklins electricity experiments to space travel in less than 250
years. This has brought about vast changes in American society. What hasnt changed
is the desire to know more about space. The desire to find out, is there life outside
of our planet? Not only is the founding fathers belief in the plurality of worlds alive today,
it is also being pursued scientifically, in a way they had no capability to do. This is
a concept that has been considered ever since the first person looked up at the night sky
and wondered, whats out there?
I feel blessed to live during such a time. Smile. Be happy. Life is good.
