Waching daily Mar 17 2018

Hey guys, I have a second channel now called CDTVThaG, originals on this channel will know

that that name is not serious and from an inside joke, but anyway I uploaded my first

reaction to this album on that channel, so I've left the link in the description and

after this video you can watch my first reaction to this project on my new music reaction channel.

Thanks for listening.

So, ? Is the new album from XXXTomatoSauce, and as you guys know I've not exactly been

a fan of X's music.

I've liked some songs here and there, but I've mostly had a negative experience with

his music.

So did this change my view of it?

Well this is CDTVProductions and is ? By XXXTerraflop good?

Let's talk about it.

Intro: XXXTENTACION "Moonlight"

Now I do wanna start this off by saying X is a pretty unique artist.

I will say that I haven't heard an album like this all year, and even last year excluding

his own 17 project.

He himself is unique, but the problem is the majority of this album is nothing new from

him.

He promised us in the incredibly corny and pandering intro that this album would be much

more versatile, much more different than his last album 17, but it's really not.

By the way speaking of that intro, the whole Explanation thing is a horrible idea, let

the music speak for itself, don't tell us what we should feel about it.

But, let's get back to this album not really being too different from 17.

Alone Pt. 3, the remedy for a broken heart, Numb, Love Yourself, before I close my eyes,

these all sound like they were lifted right out of the 17 leftovers pile.

(Clip: XXXTENTACION "ALONE PART 3").

They have the same stripped down acoustic instrumentation, the same mumbled singing

vocals that don't really convey much emotion, and of course lyrics that have as much depth

as the amount of water left in this glass.

It's lyrically very shallow for the majority of its runtime.

Even on the straight up rapping tracks like Goin Down or Floor 555, X barely drops any

nice bars.

Then you have the painfully surface level lyrics of songs like Pain = Best Friend, or

Numb.

These songs could be written by a pseudo intellectual teenager.

X genuinely seems like a depressed person so I don't see why he can't translate

it to his music well at all.

Now like I said, a good handful of the tracks sound like they're from 17, so what about

the ones that don't?

Well I quite liked the song Moonlight, particularly the hook, until I realized it had the exact

same cadence as his song A Ghetto Christmas Carol.

Floor 555 is distorted to shit so it doesn't sound much different from all X's old SoundCloud

music.

So much of this is just deja vu.

Sure the beats do have a bit of variety here, you've got the acoustic instrumentals from

17, you've got the banger instrumental in Going Down, you've got the very weird Spanish

pop song called I don't even speak Spanish lol, but all these sounds make the album sound

so thrown together.

There's no cohesiveness to it.

None of the songs really connect and it just feels like a random assortment of music from

X.

And then let's talk about the run time of all of these tracks.

A lot of these are so short, that it doesn't even really feel like any of the tracks have

an impact.

One of the tracks I actually quite enjoy on here

called Schizophrenia has this weird, chilling vibe to it.

X whispers his vocals at some parts, then sings them, then screams them, and it feels

like a rollercoaster.

The problem is, it's over so quickly.

1 minute and 20 seconds passes, the track ends and even though I liked what went on

during the run time, I just thought; is that it?

The lengths of all the songs really don't help them.

So I know, that was quite a lot of negatives, but there is some stuff I enjoyed on here

and I do think it was better than 17.

For one, the track Infinity with Joey Bada$$ was one of the biggest highlights on here.

If this is a peek into what the X and Joey Bada$$ collab tape will sound like, then I'm

ready.

It's over this 90s beat that's more Joey Bada$$ than it is X, but X sounds really good

over beats like this.

(Clip: XXXTENTACION "Infinity (888) [feat.

Joey Bada$$]").

I wish we had more stuff like this on here, because that track was brilliant.

Not to mention he has a fantastic flow on that track.

I also kinda liked the song Money, which surprisingly featured Matt Ox who actually did a decent

enough job, you know talking about his 12 year old gang and all that.

But the vocals weren't that bad at all.

And honestly my favourite tracks from this were 2 that I'd already heard, Changes and

SAD!

Both of those tracks are incredibly catchy, and actually have nice vocals throughout the

entirety of their length.

Also the closing song to the album, Before I Close My Eyes, is one I really enjoyed.

Even though it does have that acoustic sound, it's so relaxing, and X's vocals contribute

to that effect, rather than being sad mumbling.

But I'm not sure if there's much else I like about this album.

At most, I'd listen to about 6 of these tracks more in the future.

But as a whole, this album is just a really random collection of songs that aren't individually

that great in the first place.

It sounds so disjointed, and whilst I didn't like 17, at least it had a cohesive sound.

This has better songs overall than 17, the production value is definitely slightly higher

and occasionally the vocals are very good such as the verse on Moonlight where his vocals

sounded beautiful, but it isn't as organised.

I'm gonna give ? by XXXTickleMyToes a 3/10.

It really is quite a weak album, and it honestly feels longer than it actually is.

X's vocals haven't changed much at all since the last album, and the whole thing

is just a slow moving slog to get through.

I am giving it points though because a couple of the beats were very nice, and there are

2 or 3 great tracks on here.

It's a shame because I genuinely thought I would love

this album after really enjoying SAD!, but that unfortunately doesn't seem to be the

case.

So

what did you guys think of this album?

Donald Trump Jr. Is Getting Divorced - Duration: 6:37.

--Donald Trump Jr. is getting divorced.

Its official Vanessa Haydon Trump who is Donald Jrs wife filed for divorce on Thursday afternoon

in a Manhattan court.

Donald Jr is Trumps eldest son and he and his wife have 5 kids together.

The couple both 40 have been married 12 years and met back in 2003 when Trump introduced

the 2 at a fashion show.

They then got married in 2005 in Palm Beach.

About the split the couple came out with a joint statement saying- After 12 years of

marriage we have decided to go our separate ways.

We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families.

We have 5 beautiful children together and they remain our top priority.

We ask for your privacy during this time.

Vanessa filed for an uncontested divorce which means that the custody over the couples children

and assets is not disputed during legal proceedings.

This couple has definitely been through a lot.

A source who sometimes socializes with the couple said in an interview that prior to

the filing the couple had been living separate lives.

Even before all this Trump presidency stuff started.

They wernt good and their marriage was strained.

Earlier this year there were reports swirling around suspecting the couple had marital problems.

And to make things worse just last month Vanessa Trump and her mother were taken to the hospital

as a precaution when she opened a letter addressed to her husband containing white powder.

In regards to Donald Trump Jr and his father- Trump Jr played a prominent role in his fathers

election campaign.

He stayed in New York after the election and now co-runs the family business with his brother

Eric Trump.

He also became the subject of an investigation over possible collusion between the presidential

campaign and Russia in 2016.

Yeah that's a lot for one family to handle.

Hey youtube Welcome back to LP im Court McGinley.

I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend so far.

Let me know what you've been getting up to down in those comments.

Also as landon mentioned in his last video he is going on a trip next week- but have

no fear ill be here.

He might be in Mondays video but that's the day before he leaves so we will see.

Also I wanted to ask you guys if you wanted to bring questions back for the time hes gone.

If so just leave a question for me down in the comments.

Could be something about me and my life- or youtube.

If theres anything you want to know- ask below and I will pick a few questions to answer

in Tuesdays video.

Alright as you guys know we have a lot of interesting news stories headed your way so

without further adue lets get started.

--Next- Stormy Daniels lawyer says she was threatened with physical harm to keep quiet.

Her attorney Michael Avenatti had an interview with Morning Joe and repeatedly said his client

had been threatened but didn't say by who.

He also refused to give details regarding the threats.

During his time on air he said- Theres an act and then theres the cover up.

And the American people are going to learn about both.

Michael was asked if her life was threatened to which he responded- Im not going to answer

that.

People will have to tune in.

this was him referring to her 60 minutes interview.

Which is scheduled to air on March 25th.

The White house has denied all allegations that Trump had an affair with the adult star.

Daniels says she has offered to give back the 130 thousand dollars that was given to

silence her- because she wants to speak freely about Trump and release any text messages-

photos and videos she might have.

--Next- there have been multiple deaths after a newly constructed bridge collapses at a

Florida college.

At the time of this recording there were at least 4 deaths and 8 cars crushed under the

bridge that collapsed.

And at least 9 people have been transported to hospitals for treatment.

Currently at the time of this recording the state is doing their best to try and figure

out how this happened.

They are looking into if any wrongdoings that could have led to the collapse and if so-

they will be looking for the people that are going to be held accountable.

The bridges span was installed last weekend on Saterday.

This was done as an effort to boost safety on a busy street when an FIU student was fatally

struck by a vehicle last year.

At this point in time it is unclear why the bridge which was still under construction

collapsed onto a busy highway.

Our thoughts go out to the familys who lost someone during this devastating incident.

Also we hope everyone in the hospital makes a full recovery.

And as all ways we will keep you guys up to date with this case.

--Next- Snapchat lost over half a billion dollars from one Rihanna post.

Ok so im going to be honest Snapchat kinda messed up here in a big way.

Snapchat posted a Would you rather poll- and they gave the options- Slap Rihanna or punch

Chris Brown.

Clearly this is a joke referring to their abusive relationship back in 2009.

But abuse isn't something to joke about.

Snapchat have said since posting it that it never should have appeared on their service.

Rihanna responded to this post in an instagram story where she said- Id love to call it ignorance

but I know you aren't that dumb.

This isn't about my personal feelings casue I don't have much of them.

But all the women- children- and men that have been victims of DV in the past and especially

the ones who havnt made it out yet.

You let us down.

Shame on you.

Throw the whole app-ology away.

A snap Inc spokesperson replied to the controversy by saying- this advertisement is disgusting

and never should have appeared on our service.

We are so sorry we made the terrible mistake of allowing it through our review process.

We are investigating how that happened so that we can make sure it never happens again.

Since Rihannas statement snapchats share price has already fallen by more that 4 percent

and 600 million was deducted from the social media platforms value after this mistake.

Yeah snapchat hasn't been doing so well lately.

For example earlier this year a reported 1.3 billion was deducted from Snapchats value

after Kylie Jenner said she was over the app.

--Next the Jersey shore trailer is here and fans are going nuts.

Weve watched these guys grow up before our very eyes.

Weve seen them fall in love- fall out of love- get in fights- and do more tanning then anyone

should ever do.

Now they are older…wiseerrr…yeah I wouldn't go that far…but some have started their

own businesses and some have started families.

And now they have returned to their roots and are back in the jersey shore house with

their trusted duck phone that they use to call all those cabs.

Jersey Shore is back on our tv screens on April 4th.

Heres a clip of the trailer-

--Next- Avengers Infinity Wars final trailer has been released and if you were on the fence

about seeing this movie before..i know that's like impossible and everyone wants to see

it…but if you were one of those crazy people who were like hmmm I don't know…well watching

this trailer will convince you.

Oh my god its so good.

The trailer showcases all of our Marvel heros in action.

And just like previous trailers this one really drives home the warning of death and destruction

at the hands of Thanos.

This movie does a great job of combining old and new.

We have old school favorites like- Robert Downey Jr- Chris Evans- Mark Ruffalo- Chris

Hemsworth- and Scarlet Johansson.

Teaming up with newcomers like- Spiderman Homecomings Tom Holland- Black Panthers Chadwick

Boseman- and Thor Ragnaroks Tessa Thompson.

And maybe my favorite part we have the guardians of the galaxy assembling with the avengers.

Yeah this movie is going to be amazing.

This movie is going to hit theaters April 27th- heres a peek at the new trailer- 1:25-

1:38.

And there you have it that's all the news stories I have for you today.

Thank you so much for watching and ill catch you in the next one.

Top 5 Craziest People On The Dr. Phil Show - Duration: 5:20.

As im sure all of you know doctor phil has had some pretty crazy guest on his shows over

the years- some of them are just so absurd- rude and down right crazy and that's who

were going to be talking about today.

Hey youtube im court mcginley and welcome back to the most amazing top 5.

Before we get started I want to know which dr phil guest do you think is the craziest

let me know your answers down in the comments.

Alright without further a due lets get started on our list of the top 5 craziest people on

the dr phil show.

Coming in at our number 5 spot--Romina Garcia- Even if youre not a Dr. Phil fan theres a

chance you've still seen this girl as Dr.Phil found her via Facebook.

She posted a video to facebook 3 years ago where she was telling young girls that if

your boyfriend beats you it's a sign that he loves you.

This video had over 5 million views on facebook.

In this viral video Garcia had a black eye and she was explaining that her boyfriend

hitting her means that he must really love her because hes risking going to jail by hitting

her.

Take a look- 15 to 26.

Yeah its insane that she actually believes that.

While on the doctor phil show Garcia explained her thoughts and was quickly shot down by

doctor phil who questioned her if she was just doing this to get attention.

Dr phil said the only reason he had her on the show was because he feared that the idiotic

message she was sending out- could cause an innocent young girl to put herself in harms

way by following Garcias logic and get herself hurt.

And whats really scary is that there are reports on Garcia claiming that she died just before

her 20th birthday from an apparent overdose.

However there have been no official reports of her death but there is a facebook group

about it.

But its definitely not been officially confirmed yet.

https://youtu.be/8de2HWvp7Zo in at number 4--Patricia – Patricia is a

woman who pretended to have cancer in order to make money.

She was brought onto the show by her daughter Jessica who wanted to know why her mother

was lying about having cancer.

Before the dr phil show Patricia made many local tv appearances where she claimed to

have stage 3 brain cancer- and that she had survived at least 17 strokes.

Dr phil obtained her medical records and said that she lied about a lot of information regarding

her surgery.

Her daughter said she believed her mother was lying in order to scam people out of their

money.

At number 3--Sexy Vegan- ooh Sexy Vegan..yeah hes something alright.

You can find this guy dancing on the streets of Holywood in just a speedo and knee high

socks.

Sexy vegan went on Doctor phil because his sister was worried about him.

Sexy vegan chanted on the show- I am the beautiful vegan messiah.

He definitely stands out- Hes got blue hair and the word sexy vegan tattoos in blue on

his face.

On the Show the 33 year old admitted to being arrested 15 times for various reasons and

everytime his mother bailed him out.

He doesn't work and his mother provides everything for him.

Well I shouldn't say he doesn't work he technically has made an album and the song

titles are kind of disturbing.

Since his first appearance hes recently returned to the Dr. Phil show to apologize for how

he acted.

Coming in at number 2--Hayley- Here is 19 year old Hayley who made headlines after she

appeared on the Dr. Phil show claiming she was 9 months pregnant and still a virgin.

I mean weve watched Jane the Virgin… its possible.

But even crazier then that she claimed to be pregnant with Jesus.

Yeah Jane never tried to pull that one.

Take a look- can you guys show start to 6 seconds.

So on the show Hayley admitted that when she took a pregnancy test at 6 months along it

came back negative.

But she knew otherwise.

On the show she said- My family- friends- my pastors at church- they don't believe

that im pregnant.

I know its Jesus.

I don't care if my family disowns me.

It really comes down to if youre a true believer in Jesus or not.

Dr. Phil arranged for Hayley to have an ultrasound which revealed she was not pregnant.

She was joined on the episode by her mother and sister who both say she had a history

of fabricating the truth.

For example in the past shes said that the rapper Eminem is her biological father.

She then went on the show a second time after she went to the treatment center.

She went on saying she had mental illnesses and that the center didn't help her.

She did finally come clean about the pregnancy on this episode and said that she just had

stomach gas but that she was still grieving over the situation.

https://youtu.be/eT4P6bd7A80 And at number 1--Danielle Bragoli- oh man

Danielle Bragoli aka the cash me ousside girl.

This 13 year old took the internet by storm after she said the line Cash me ousside how

bout that on the dr. phil show.

She went on the show for being disrespectful to her mother- she would steal her car- her

cash- and slap her.

The audience laughed at her and then she called them hoes and said her famous line cash me

ousside how bout that.

Danielle then agreed to go to turn about ranch and change her ways.

Apparently she did really well there but when she got out she was informed she was internet

famous due to her catch phrase.

And because of this she took that fame and ran.

Shirts came out with her catch phrase- she was appearing in music videos- making her

own youtube videos- doing sponsorship deals.

And she even came out with some singles.

She basically became a millionaire overnight.

However she did do one good thing with a portion of her money when she paid off her moms mortgage

for her.

She appeared on dr phil for a second time- this time there was no audience as doctor

phil wanted her to focus and not be distracted by them- and based off the interview it seems

like nothing much had changed.

And there you have it that's our list of the top 5 craziest people on the dr phil show.

Thank you all so much for watching and ill catch you in the next one.

St Patrick's Day Book Tag! [CC] - Duration: 8:26.

Hi everybody, it's Anna, and today I am going to be bringing you the

St. Patrick's Day book tag! This book tag I originally found over on the channel

The Princess and the Scrivener, where Paige and Kathy Trithardt did the tag

together. I the questions on my phone, and we will go ahead and get into

that. So the first question is, St. Patrick's Day: what is your favorite

green book? My favorite green book... this was really difficult because a lot of my

favorite sort of picture books, comics, all ages books, have a lot of green on

them, but I decided to pick an actual novel, and that's "The Buried Giant" by

Kazuo Ishiguro. This is a retelling of the King Arthur legends from the point

of view of Axl and Beatrice, who are an elderly married couple living during the

twilight of the Camelot years that are going on their own sort of Grail quest, I

suppose, to find their son. The next question is, corned beef and cabbage: a

book that made you hungry. I don't have this one with me right now, but the book

that definitely makes me super hungry is "Farmer Boy" by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

She wrote the Little House on the Prairie book series, but "Farmer Boy," which

is about her husband when he was a young boy growing up, that book is legit food

porn! It's just so tasty to think about every single thing that they eat in that

book. And then I guess another honorable mention for this goes to the Redwall

series by Brian Jacques, about the mice and the animals and the woodland

creatures that all live inside Redwall Abbey.

Brian Jacques actually wrote those novels for a school for blind children that was

near where he lived, so he tried really hard to make all of the descriptions

very EXTRA sensory. So besides just [describing] what this thing looks like, he

describes tastes and smells and sounds. [phone clatters on floor] Oops, lost my phone there! He describes all

of those in such great detail that I will never forget the first time I read

the feast scene in the opening of the first book. So the next one is four-leaf

clover" a book or item that was a rare good luck find. So I actually had a copy

of Jane Eyre, which is my favorite book, in case you didn't know that

already. I had a copy of Jane Eyre that I got when I was a kid that accidentally

got donated or for some reason kind of like left my home: I'm not really sure

why that happened. And I found it years later! My home was in Florida; I found it

years later in a thrift shop in New Jersey, and it was the exact same book!

It had the inscription that the person who previously owned it had

written to the person that they gave it to inside the book. And I went up

and told the lady behind the counter and she was like, [unenthusiastically] "yeah, cool story" and I was

like, well I'm gonna buy it! Because this is the copy of the book that I had

as a child, and I really want it back, so that was very lucky. Irish whiskey: a

book so bad you needed a drink to get over it. This one was really hard to

narrow it down because you've only really seen the positive side of my book

loving on booktube, but that's about to change. That book for me was "Artemis"

by Andy Weir. Andy Weir is also the author of "The Martian," which is about

Mark Watney, the scientist that actually accidentally gets left behind and

stranded on the planet Mars, and like lost in space and all that. I was really

excited for "Artemis" because it was billed as a heist on the moon type

of story, and I really like heist stories! And I knew there was gonna be a female

protagonist, so I was really excited by that. And this book was just a garbage

fire of every sexist trope in the book! The story was not interesting. I did not

care about the sort of half-assed romantic subplot, and I didn't really

like any of the people in the book. Like, I know you're not supposed to

necessarily find *all* characters likable *all* the time-- that wasn't what I meant.

I just meant that these characters were just these flat, shallow caricatures of

people. They did not read *as people.* I think it can sometimes be very enjoyable

to read about unlikable people, but they still have to read as actual people, so

yeah... hours of my life I don't ever get back from reading that.

Okay. Next up is Irish dancing: a book so good

it made you want to dance in excitement.

[suspenseful pause]

Yeah! "The Prince and the Dressmaker." This won't

surprise anybody since I can't make a video now apparently without bringing up

"The Prince and the Dressmaker," but this book is very sweet. I'll link a video

where I talk about it a little bit more in depth, so you can go watch that and

learn more about it if you want. But this book just made my heart sing with joy!

Okay, next is Ireland: a book that made you want to travel to another country.

So I'm not gonna pick any of the books that made me want to travel to countries that

I have already been to. For those of you who don't know, I'm American, so I've been

to the United States. I've also been to Canada, I've been to Nassau in the

Bahamas, and I've been to France and England, and that is it. So I'm not gonna

bring up any books that inspired me to travel to

England because I have already been there. I'll do a book that inspired a

country I have not been to, which is India. And there were two books that I

read around the same time that made me want to go there. One of them was "Kim" by

Rudyard Kipling, and the other was "Haroun and the Sea of Stories" by Salman

Rushdie. So clearly these are two very different portrayals of the country. One

was Rudyard Kipling writing during sort of this colonial period, when the

separation of India and Pakistan hadn't happened yet, and he is definitely

writing from a more white colonialist perspective. One of them is

written by Salman Rushdie, who is one of the great living authors who is

from India himself. I've read his other books, but this was the one that I

have that I've read on my shelves. I think I might have lent out the other

books. But both of these books--whoops![dropping book sound] actually did make me want

to travel there, and that is not a place that I was necessarily... like I knew about

it, but I didn't really know enough to want to go there, if that makes sense. aAnd

both of these books in their own way made me actually want to travel there.

Okay, and the last question, which was the hardest one for me to

answer, is the pub: a meeting place in a book you would love to go to. I tend to

try and stay away from answering Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings answers to

book tags, just because we all know that we would choose to go to the Green

Dragon, or our house's common room ,or wherever, but I'm not gonna do that. So

I'm going to say this one was a tie between the Aeolian, which is the sort of

musical concert hall/bar from "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss ,and

the Roanoke's cabin from the Lumberjanes book series, which is where all of the

girls who are the protagonists of the series stay while they're at the camp.

I would like to go to that camp in general! These are both very different,

obviously: the Aeolian is a place where you go to perform your art and

hope to win the favor of a patron. You go to "see and be seen." It's a little bit

similar to, I guess how they go to the opera in "The Age of Innocence," where

there's the surface level of what's going on with the arts, but then there's

like this whole other social level that you have to navigate ,and I think I would

like to go there, not necessarily to perform straightaway,

but I would love to see people compete to win their pipes, as it's

called. And then for Lumberjanes, I would give a lot, I would give a lot to be able

to hang out with the Lumberjanes and just chill with them in the woods: go

camping, fight some supernatural monsters. I would give so much to be part of that

friend group. Okay, that's gonna be it for the

St. Patrick's Day book tag. Thanks again to Kathy and Paige for bringing that tag to

my attention and inspiring me to complete it! Thank you all so much for

watching this, and I will see you in the next one. Bye!

KETO vs VEGAN Diets for Triathletes: The Answer - Duration: 8:47.

- Morning, trainiacs.

Keto versus veganism.

I'll allow you some time

to start sharpening your pitchforks now.

However, I have potentially the answer

of what will work best for you.

(upbeat instrumental music)

So over the last, I'd say year or so,

a lot of to dos have been to done

about Keto, which is very high fat,

high protein, very low carb.

It's basically starving your body of carbs

to get your body into what's called ketogenesis,

and this results in fat loss,

it results in apparently basically flushing out

a lot of cancer cells in your body.

Apparently a lot of people report

increased mental acuity, increased strength,

better ability to get through things like chemotherapy

or fasting, things like that.

However, however there's also the other side of the camp

which comes with an equal amount of scientific evidence.

Those are the vegans that are saying

that plant based, whole food diets

are what humans are meant to eat,

and both camps are basically equally as loud

and have an equal amount of things to say

about should you be eating just tons and tons of butter

or should you be eating tons and tons of greenery,

and it becomes very confusing

with what people should be eating.

Well I ended up getting confused by it,

and I went searching for an answer,

and I think I've got one.

Let's go sit down and talk about it.

Come on, guys, come up here.

Come on.

Yeah, there we go.

Let's make the internet fight.

So beyond just being outright confusing,

it's actually not safe to be supporting just Keto dieting

or just veganism without a backing

to understand how it works for you specifically,

and the reason for that is our genetic predisposition

to one diet or another makes a huge difference

for how our body reacts.

Bye Pete.

How our body reacts to one diet over another.

For example, there's actually one genetic variation

that will actually take a Keto diet

and it will actually make your body

more glucose sensitive, sensitive to sugar,

which is the exact opposite of what

a Keto diet supports is able to do.

And on the other hand, a vegan diet

tends to be a little bit more higher in carbs,

more fruits, more vegetables,

just eating more carbs as a percentage

of how much you're eating

than you are with more of a primal or a Keto diet.

And some people don't do very well on that.

They can't handle any starches, any sugars,

anything at all that sends their blood sugar

through the roof.

So in both camps they're wrong,

saying that their way is the right way.

What is right is what is right for you,

and what I found to do that was habit.com,

and just so you know, this is not an ad

in any way, shape, or form.

They sent it out to me because I was really interested

in trying it.

It's not paid, they don't know that I'm doing this.

I did not check with them to fact check anything

and get talking points.

This is me just telling ya what I think about Habit.

So it's a blood test that you administer yourself.

Package comes and it is packaged really well,

very straightforward, with all the steps

that you need to do.

Basically what you end up doing is you fast overnight,

and then when you wake up in the morning,

you do one blood draw to set a baseline

of what your fasted state is.

Then you slam back this massive Habit shake

that mimics the typical American diet

with caffeine, with carbs, with fat, with protein.

That is tasteful.

I think it's 950 calories and you feel it.

They actually warn you and they something like

because you've taken this on the empty stomach,

it's normal to feel a little abnormal after,

and I felt abnormal after.

And then 30 minutes after you take that shake,

you do another blood draw,

filling up this little piece of paper with blood,

and then 90 minutes after that,

you take another blood draw.

So what you've got is you've got a baseline

of what your body's biochemistry is just set as standard

at a fasting state.

Then you've got your quick reaction

of what your body does immediately after taking on calories,

and then you have a difference between those two

of how your body processes those calories

and those macro nutrients long term.

So this is the habit.com website.

I'll say that the buying process,

the process to actually do the test

and like prick yourself with needles

and all of that, it's really well laid out.

And then about 25 days after you send the blood test back,

you get the results, and mine look like this.

Apparently I can handle fat like a pro.

I handle carbs alright.

I need a normal amount of protein.

My health markers look good.

My weight is in the ideal range.

I don't have the lactose intolerance gene variance.

That's not saying I'm not lactose intolerant.

That's saying that my genes don't point

towards being lactose intolerant

and I have a normal amount of caffeine sensitivity.

But here's where it gets really cool.

You click on see your nutrition plan,

and because I want to get down to a race weight

from my 157 to 159 right now, to 150,

I've entered that into the back end,

and it spits out how many calories I need to average,

3,260, and my percentage of daily macro nutrients.

And this is how much carbs, how much fat,

and how much protein I should have,

ideally situated for me.

So let's say somebody that is more glucose sensitive

should have less carbs and they would do better

on a more ketogenic diet,

and then what they do

is they actually start recommending foods for you.

So in my case, watch out for hidden sugars,

and it gives you actual tangible things

like here are the types of foods

that you should be avoiding.

It gives you your ideal food groups

and how many servings of things you should eat,

and examples of them, beans, nuts, seeds, oils for fats,

fruits, what the good foods are.

It gives you what your hero foods are.

These are the foods that are ideally suited for me.

I did put in that I prefer to eat vegan,

so it will actually tailor it towards that,

how much fibers, how much folate, how much magnesium.

You also get all of your bio markers here,

and it's all very visual, and if you're in green zones,

you're in a good spot.

So all of this is given to you,

and I want to say it is $299.

Pete got scared, he's back.

Gracie's a strong independent female dog.

She ain't scared of anything.

So none of this is to plug Habit.

This is to get you in the habit.

Oh, is that what they're going for?

Of understanding what you should specifically be doing,

not just for food, but for training.

There are different methods for different types of people.

Some people do really well with Keto or vegan.

Some people do really well with really high amounts

of training volumes.

Some people do really well with very low

but intense amounts of training volume.

You have to figure out what works for you.

So I know that this isn't an exact answer

and it's kind of like an un-answer of a video,

but it at least points you in a direction,

and it opens your eyes to the thought

that the people that are out there with pitchforks

saying Keto, Keto, Keto, it's the way to do it,

and then the other people that are out there

with like spoons and hemp skirts saying vegan, vegan, vegan.

Neither one is 100% right.

They both have aspects of being right

and they probably agree on actually 80 to 90%

of their individual premises,

but it's that 10% that puts them into one camp or another

and develops a dogma that is probably

too strict one way or another

to be applicable to all athletes out there.

One thing that we did awhile ago.

If you're looking to go on like a weight loss journey
