Being an Introvert in College (The Good and the Bad)

College is the place where there are more and more people in different looks and attitudes.

Unlike elementary schools or high schools, college has more challenges for their students

especially for introverts.

The saturated environment sometimes makes introverts feel isolated.

However, some college students manage to survive, and it is because there are some good and

the bad things about being introvert.

The good

1.

Your score is better Being introverts mean you does not have to

join any activity that wastes your time for your priority.

As student, I bet introverts believe that they value scores better than anything else.

Luckily, college offers such flexibility and you basically can join activities that support

your ideal condition with your progress in the college.

That means, your score can be improved significantly because you just don't participate random

gatherings.

2.

You don't get into trouble Compared to your extroverted friends, you

rarely join a cause with your friends to fight against bureaucracy.

This keeps you safe from irresponsible people who don't have heart to put you into jails.

Moreover, you will also not go into brawls with others which will only hurt yourself

and other.

3.

You can earn scholarship Yes, it is another perk that you can get from

being introverts.

We all know that introverts are strategically picky.

They only choose people who bring the best benefits in their life, and they always try

to find that kind of person everywhere they live.

That includes people who can offer information or even access to scholarship.

This allows the introverts, with their intelligence, to get chance for scholarship.

The bad

1.

You don't have many friends Having many friends is quite beneficial especially

in the college world.

The reason is because you can learn many things from them.

You also can get help and information quicker which allows you to perform both academically

and personally better.

Unfortunately, being introverts means losing such privilege.

Fortunately, you still can make a friend with those Ambiverted friends as bridge to communicate

with others.

2.

You are ignored There are some points when you are completely

ignored.

One of them is absolutely when you are having group discussion since they don't want to

bother you.

The next thing to consider is when there is a group party.

You will be left behind until someone stands up and suggest the otherwise.

You are often ignored, and you will feel alone sometimes.

However, you are not afraid of being alone.

It is not that bad, but it makes you feel lonely sometimes.

3.

You miss important events Introverts are usually left behind or ignored.

As consequence, they will not obtain updated information about certain events.

Additionally, people also do not want to ask the introverts anyway.

The reason is simply because introverts usually will say they won't go.

That is why friends don't want to give the information altogether.

Even so, there are still some friends who give the information especially those who

consider you as close friends.

There is always someone who helps you regardless of how introvert you are.
