because I skated alone a lot and would just work on tricks

good thing to take on into adulthood,

you know, knowing that every time you try something new,

you're going to fall on your face,

Ram Mounts Review : Mounting Touring Accessories In Your 4WD - Duration: 5:40.

g'day I'm Brett this is a quick review of the RAM mounting system which may

just be the system you're looking for for mounting accessories on your over

landing or touring vehicle now this is a highly customizable system with each

component can be purchased separately to build something specific for your

desired accessory or mounting position. so this system I have now is for my GPS

map 62 and also matches the 64 that comes in a multitude of mounting base

plates here I have a standard bolt down mount. there is also suction mounts for

your windscreen and loads and loads of other mounts for motorcycles for bars

anything you can think of there's probably a mount there for it.

the suction mount can be applied to any flat surface and is a single hand

operation this is the B component size mounting plate with the one-inch rubber

ball it's capable of holding weights up to 5 pounds or 2.2 kilograms

it's designed with a ball and socket type attachment which fits on and allows

an infinite amount of adjustment in any direction you can see here the purpose

of the spring is to keep the accessory end open for easy installation of

accessories and the other end closed so it fits on the ball joint gives you a

chance to put your accessory in and tighten fully. B size components the

arm lengths come in three sizes there's a short which is from ball to ball 1.75

inches or 4.5 centimeters a standard from ball to ball three inches or seven

point six centimeters and there's a long which is 5.25 inches or thirteen point

four centimeters so you can buy an arm length depending on how far you need to

extend your accessory so you can see here the components for the arms made

out of marine grade aluminium and poweder coated these a very strong I thought

originally that there was some sort of plastic but they're not so these are

long lasting components you have a fairly solid bolt holding the two

together a spring to make it easier to put your accessories in. A couple washers

and then the nut so even if this nut does fail should this ever come undone

you can always put a separate nut on the bolt and keep it held all together the

components can be purchased separately allowing different base plates arm

lengths and accessory bolt ons to all to integrate with each other so here I have

my B size one inch ball with a medium length arm and I'm using a GPSMAP 62s

or 64s mounting system that bolts in tightens up screw on the side and I

basically have infinite number of positions depending on how I want to

mount my GPS

the Mount allows the GPS to slide in on a roller access to the rear USB power

port is still available.

now should you want to move your accessories around you can such as by

using the suction mount just undo the screw on the side reposition retighten

the nut and there you go it's very strong so I think that would survive

very well on corrugated tracks and as ram suggests you can always upgrade to

the next level component series this is a B series rated to 5 pounds or 2.2

kilograms but for extra strength on your really rough conditions you can go to

the next one up which will be even more load carrying capacity so it'd be very

very strong so I'm very happy with this system thus far I have to test it out

some more on some tracks but it seems to be very well built like I said it has

marine grade aluminium parts and the bolt going through is very solid

so this mounts made of composite so it should be fairly strong plastic we'll

see how it stands up over time with UV degradation being positioned close to

the windscreen here so Ram mounts are available for many

different accessories including smartphones tablets gps's Sat Navs

laptops fish finders and even cup holders anything you can imagine there's

probably a mount for it so if you need something really strong sturdy and built

IS IT WATERPROOF?! Urban Decay X Kristen Leanne VICE LIQUID LIPSTICK in PULSE! - Duration: 11:39.

What up guys?! Ashley Elizabeth here with AEHM artistry! Today we're gonna find out,

is it waterproof?! That's right we are testing the new Kristen Leanne Vice

liquid lipstick from Urban Decay X Kristen Leanne collab. And we're testing

the color Pulse to find out, is it waterproof? How long does it last? And can

you eat with it? And still have a perfect pout...so if you want to find out what

that's all about, and also just this shade, then keep watching!

So I wasn't

originally gonna do a video solely devoted to this lipstick shade because

it is an exclusive through UrbanDecay.com and free-standing stores. So I know

it's a little bit more challenging for people to get their hands on. The Kristen

Leanne Urban Decay liquid lipstick collab, I think there is a duo set in it

that is available at Ulta. Then I'll link it down below. But the reason why I

decided I need a whole video devoted to this is because when I get new crazy

colors. sometimes I'll put them on really quickly before I jump in the shower to

make sure it's something that I love but I'm not like committed and stuck to it.

Well I put it on, jumped in the shower, and it was so hard to get off! First of

all, I was in love with the color. I'm like, this is awesome, but I'm like okay time

to wash off of the day wash off my face... and I could not get it off! So I had to

use a couple of different makeup removers in the shower to you really

break it down. And I thought "hey let's see how long this lasts!". So Kristen Leanne

does talk about this in her launch video for the whole collab collection,

that this is a slightly different formula. And you are not supposed to press your

lips together while applying it. You're supposed to apply it all and don't...and

don't touch and reapply if you need to, to get that really pigmented

concentrated look. So that's what we're gonna do today. We're gonna do it as it

says. So this is the shade Pulse. When you pop it open it is very beautiful on the

inside. It has the florals that are on some of the other palettes. So it's a

very cohesive collection. Packaging is more unique and different than the regular

Urban Decay line. It has this very pretty pink,

it does say...has a little heart that says Kristen Leanne on the back. And the

applicator is exactly the same as the normal liquid lipstick line. It has a

little story about how Kristen created it but I'll leave that for in case you

purchase it. But it does say "use the precision

applicator to line and fill your lips for intense pigment, comfortable color, with

insane wear. Don't press lips together. For more

coverage lightly apply another coat if need be. Let it dry completely and then

you're golden!". So I'm gonna do that. I'm not gonna use a lip liner, even though I

usually do. I want to see how this product performs exactly by itself.

And I don't have a grey lip liner! If you know of a good great lip liner, drop

it in the comments below because I need to know. I have two now and I need a

grey liner to go with it. So we're gonna apply this bad boy and let's check

out the color payoff.

I did make sure to do a lip scrub on my lips before applying.

So I'll have a smooth application as well. You can see it's not super duper

pigmented yet. It's kind of nice to have a light pigmentation, you can finesse it a

little bit more first. It's hard not pressing your lips together though, I will say that.

Alright, that is with one coat...slightly slightly patchy but not bad. It is...it

does say basically it will be thin and then you can do another coat. So I'm

gonna let that dry for a second and then do another coat.

I'm really digging this color with my purple hair. It's looking really pretty, I

like that so far. These liquid lipsticks are odd and different. You kind of have

to retrain your brain. To be completely honest, it does take more work than most

liquid lipsticks. You do have to work with it and I did have to sit there, as

you saw. and let it dry down. Your lips naturally, you want to touch together as

you talk and speak. When you do that, they kind of stick together and get very

very odd. And then you have to pat it back down. So the longer you let it dry,

the better but it's not something everybody always has time to do. So do

realize that, if you're looking to purchase one of these. It takes more

finessing and it's...I guess it's not as user friendly. Sorry, but it's not. Let's

do a full-on kiss...

No kiss lips...but a couple of little

flakes.

How does the lipstick look...good. If you see

the inside right here, that's the part that's a little odd. Any time the lips

touch together, you run the risk of them sticking together. And see now they're

starting to...the flakes are going off onto my teeth. So we will see how long this

lasts. Now that I did all that hard work, let's do the waterproof test. Oh well

hopefully it doesn't mess it up too much. But if it does then, that pretty much

answers that question. Doesn't it?! Alright, without further ado, let's go ahead

and spray this and see if it's waterproof.

I hope I don't ruin all the rest of my makeup...

Okay, here goes nothing.

Okay...

it kind of made it a little bit more tacky. Just a little bit more flakes

coming off, but still pretty intact. Let's do it again, let's really drench it.

just some weird, like...flakeys, that we're coming off anyways. Not completely... yeah...

interesting. It's very interesting. It's not rubbing off, it's staying on, but it's

flaky. So pretty much past the waterproof test. Let me go ahead and take a drink

from this water bottle and see if there's any lip stains...

none!

I always have

a ring. Actually I'm feeling quite thirsty for some mint green tea. One of

my favorites for hot tea. So let me go brew some of that really quick and we

will do the lipstick on the mug test too! Let's just...let's just give it the full

on, full-on test today! BRB! Alright I am back with a piping hot...

by the way, I have

quite the hilarious mug. Thank you to my brother and sister-in-law who got me

this mug. If you can name what show this is from, thats is my face yes, but the

actual mug...if you can name that show in the comments below, brownie points for

you! 10 extra brownie points! *Whoo* for knowing that pop culture reference!

Anyways, let's go ahead and do the mug test.

It's still having those little flakes.

But not like an actual print. I'll try to turn this around. Just flakes, so

that is passing that test, as well. What I noticed while I was brewing is I'm

getting some gathering on my inner corners of those little flaky flakes

still. And on my teeth.

Now I wouldn't say this is the most comfortable liquid

lipstick. Definitely, I'm very aware that something's on my lips. So if it's

something that bothers you, this might not be a good liquid lipstick for you. I

can get over it if they stop flaking on the inside. So maybe...like that

that's gnarly. That's what's coming off in my lips. So I don't love that. So let's

check in in a little bit. If it starts to wear down, I will check in with you.

So that's kind of how our wear test is gonna go today. I'm not gonna do a set

standard amount of time. I will just let you know how it's going, if it's still on

before I wash my face at the end of the night, you guys will know about it. And I will

check in after I eat dinner because it's around 3 o'clock right now. So, after I

eat dinner. Qhich I am having burritos tonight, and chips and guacamole, all that

stuff. I will let you know if it's still on.

Okay, as you guys just watched me eat a burrito...

it was mostly passing through the burrito test. The eating test, but as you

can see it wore down after the whole burrito, chips and guac. and drinking a

whole bottle of water. Lots & lots of cracking and flaking, and as you can see.

So not super pretty afterwards, which most liquid lipsticks and lipsticks

aren't. So I want to see how this reapplies. By the way it has been on for

about five hours and before I did it...you saw in the video it looked pretty okay.

But let's go ahead and see if this reapplies well because that's the most

important part. After you eat and it's worn down, can it be reapplied?

Alright, that actually reapplied way easier and then I thought it would. So especially for a

drying lipstick, I thought it was gonna be really gross. Okay, so that's all dry

now. So let's see how easy it is to take off the liquid lipstick because I had

quite the challenge taking it off last time, just in the shower. So let's go in

with my trusty and NYX makeup wipes.

Feels...it feels really gross when you're trying to take it off.

Man, a regular

liquid lipstick though would be already off in one swipe. So you have to work it

a little bit. It wants to hang on, but not too bad with the actual wipe. Now this is

what I tried before and this takes everything off, but I had to like scrub

it in that shower. So definitely use a makeup wipe, yeah and then you'll be good.

So yeah, my overall thoughts with that... so when I reapplied it the second time

just now I didn't put too much on the inner rim of my lips and then I made

sure to take it off. This is like a little Marilyn Monroe trick

and then you pull it, so that takes care of that inner rim part. And then I

didn't feel it flaking. I waited a few minutes and I went and got my wipes and

everything. And I didn't feel it doing that weird balled up situation that it

was the first application. So moving forward that's how I would correct that.

And as long as I don't have that weird feeling in my mouth then I'm perfectly

happy with it! It did feel a little bit dry, so I might even put on a lip balm

before and then take it off right before to add some hydration. But overall I'm

pretty happy with the formula. Just a couple things to watch out for: if you

don't like drying liquid lipsticks, it might not be for you. But if you want a

waterproof one you might want to deal with it because it as you saw was pretty

waterproof. Not full eat proof, maybe some light snacking and especially if you're...

if you're careful with it. Not going in with the whole burrito. Another thing I

noticed is, my burrito usually, if I have a lipstick on or something, I'll have you

know lip marks on my tortilla. It didn't have that! So that was nice. Thank you

We Just Found Out Fat Cells Can Move! - Duration: 6:04.

[♪♩INTRO]

Of all the cells in the human body, fat cells might get the most hate.

Their main function is to store fat molecules.

And while that is a very important job, a lot of people kinda maybe wish they didn't

have quite so many.

But it turns out that fat cells, or adipocytes, are doing a lot for your body -- maybe even

more than scientists ever imagined.

Because this week, a trio of British biologists reported for the first time that fat cells

can move.

Oh, and also it turns out they help heal wounds.

The study, which was published this week in the journal Developmental Cell, was done on

fruit flies.

But the team thinks fat cells might do something similar in humans.

The researchers were interested in how fruit flies repair their wounds, and there were

some hints that fat cells could be involved — like weirdly big shadows that showed up

under a microscope.

For these experiments, they used lasers to make small wounds on the underside of fly

pupae — I know this seems kind of mean — that's the stage just before the fly is fully grown.

And to keep track of which cells were fat cells and which were other types, they turned

them different colors.

Then they recorded what happened next under a microscope.

Almost immediately, large fat cells started traveling to the injured area to plug the

hole, usually taking about an hour to get there.

Then they basically turned into, like, a fat version of a band-aid, forming a tight seal

on the wound that would keep bacteria out.

The fat cells also worked with the flies' immune system to remove dead cells and any

other debris that was hanging around.

And if the researchers infected the wound

on purpose, the fat cells released antimicrobial peptides, or small defense proteins, to fight

them off.

Seeing fat cells help heal wounds was weird enough.

But really, the strangest part was the fact that these cells were moving at all.

Researchers had always assumed fat cells kind of just sat there.

But here was a cell swooping in to save the day.

It gets even weirder, because the fat cells weren't moving the way most cells in an

organism do, which is by sticking to other cells and tissues and kind of pulling themselves

along.

Instead, the fat cells seemed to be entirely on their own, changing their shape to propel

themselves through the flies' liquidy insides.

Basically, they were swimming.

Now, the question is whether we also might have a bunch of Michael Phelps-like fat cells

in us that mobilize when we get hurt.

Obviously, there's a lot going on in flies that's different from humans.

We have much more complicated clotting systems, so it's unlikely fat cells would serve the

exact same purpose in us as in flies.

And hopefully not too many of us are suffering from laser wounds.

But there's some evidence that fat cells in mice also pump out these antimicrobial

defense proteins, which could bode well for us.

And frankly, no one has looked very hard to see whether any fat cells are moving.

So, it could be just a fly thing, but it might not be.

And maybe you should be thanking your fat cells, instead of wishing they were smaller

or less numerous.

Speaking of size:

In another paper published this week — this one in Nature Communications — a group of

French and Brazilian virologists reported discovering two new giant viruses.

Giant viruses are still microscopic.

You're not going to spot any crawling around in your basement.

But compared to the rest of the viruses on the planet, these things are huge — they're

more like the size of bacteria.

And so are their genomes!

Since both of the new viruses were found in Brazil, the researchers named them tupanviruses,

in honor of Tupã, the thunder god of a local indigenous group known as the Guaraní.

One came from the mud of a soda lake — a type of lake that's super salty and has

a high pH.

So as tasty as it sounds, you probably don't want to drink it unless you enjoy bleach with

a side of salt.

The other virus was found in deep ocean sediments off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, dug up by

a helpful submarine robot.

Under a microscope, the viruses look a bit like fuzzy light bulbs with extra long screw

sections.

They can grow to more than 2 microns, or millionths of a meter, making them one of the longest

viral particles on record.

Now, usually, viruses have just a handful of their own genes, because they mooch off

their hosts for everything else.

Influenza A, for instance, has just 8 genes, and HIV has 9.

Their entire genomes are made up of less than 15,000 nucleotide building blocks.

But these tupanviruses have genomes that are a hundred times bigger, with about 1.5 million

of those building blocks making up a whopping 1300-1400 genes.

Even more impressive is the content of those genes.

Tupanviruses have more genes dedicated to synthesizing and assembling proteins than

any virus we've ever seen, including roughly 200 other giant viruses.

Which is surprising, because part of what makes viruses dependent on other life forms

is the fact that they rely on their hosts for that very job.

Now, tupanviruses still can't string proteins together on their own because they're missing

a few key players.

But almost all the pieces are there.

The question is, where did this strange set of genes come from?

One possibility is that giant viruses started off as some kind of cell, and then lost some

genes over time to become a virus.

But it could also be that they started off as smaller viruses, and grew bigger as they

picked up genes from various hosts.

Scientists are hoping to figure out how giant viruses evolved by comparing their genomes

to other viruses and other organisms.

The tupanviruses give us a bunch of new data to add to the pile, but they aren't enough

to give us the answer own their own.

We'll need to find more giant viruses to figure out what really happened.

His Daca executive order was one of those times, but the days of lawlessness are over!

When it came to the Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals, or "DACA" there was no way the

Republicans would vote to let illegal aliens freely stay in this nation without any penalty.

So what Obama concocted was a presidential executive order where he, on a temporary basis,

granted amnesty to all so-called "children" brought to this nation illegally as minors.

Many of the cases are "children" in their 30's who never did much to remedy their

situation.

But since President Trump refuses to extend Obama's executive order on the grounds of

its legality, he asked the house and senate to do this legally, by legislation.

With the condition that he would happily sign it if the DACA law includes full funding for

construction of the border wall.

But since this would take 60 votes in the Senate the Democrats, led by Chuck Schumer,

have refused, even though the president also went as far as to offer to sign a DACA deal

that would cover 1.8 million people instead of the 860,000 Obama had temporarily handed

amnesty to.

All this brings us to today.

Obama's illegal executive order on DACA is set to expire on March 5th.

And President Trump will not extend it because it is unconstitutional.

The only reason Obama got away with it was that of his skin color, and we all know this.

The moment Trump were to extend this order, the Democrats will be screaming impeachment

at the top of their lungs.

On March 5th the illegals will become illegal again unless they do what's right and go

back to their nation of birth or apply to come into the U.S. the legal way.

The opposition's main argument for DACA is that these kids were brought here under

no fault of their own, that may be true, but in a nation of laws, life isn't fair.

Just go ask anyone who has ever lost a job because an illegal alien has done the same

job for less because they don't need to pay taxes and can afford to work under the

counter.

"Responding in October 2010 to demands that he implement immigration reforms unilaterally,

Obama declared, "I am not king.

I can't do these things just by myself."

In March 2011, he said that with "respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations

through executive order, that's just not the case."

In May 2011, he acknowledged that he couldn't "just bypass Congress and change the (immigration)

law myself.

… That's not how a democracy works."

Yet in 2012, he did it anyway.

He put DACA in place to provide pseudo-legal status to illegal aliens brought to the U.S.

as minors, including as teenagers.

He promised them that they wouldn't be deported and provided them with work authorizations

and access to Social Security and other government benefits.

And he did this despite the fact that the immigration laws passed by Congress do not

give the president the ability to do this.

Indeed, Congress specifically rejected bills to provide such benefits.

As Attorney General Jeff Sessions pointed out this week, DACA "contributed to a surge

of unaccompanied minors on the southern border that yielded terrible humanitarian consequences."

Since most DACA beneficiaries are now adults, "it also denied jobs to hundreds of thousands

of Americans by allowing those same jobs to go to illegal aliens," Sessions said.

The unconstitutionality of Obama's actions were confirmed when Obama tried to implement

a second, similar program in 2014 called the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and

Lawful Permanent Residents program, or DAPA.

Like DACA, DAPA provided an administrative amnesty for illegal aliens who came to the

U.S. as adults and gave them work authorizations and access to government benefits.

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a nationwide injunction against DAPA, which

the Supreme Court allowed to stand.

As the Fifth Circuit said, the fact that the president declined to enforce the law and

remove illegal aliens "does not transform presence deemed unlawful by Congress into

lawful presence and confer eligibility for otherwise unavailable benefits based on that

change."

Under our Constitution, Congress has plenary authority over immigration.

The president only has the authority delegated to him by Congress – and Congress has never

given the president the power to provide a pseudo-amnesty and government benefits to

illegal aliens.

The DACA program suffers from exactly the same constitutional infirmities as DAPA.

A number of states have threatened to sue the administration to stop the DACA program.

In the face of that threat, Trump really had no choice.

General Sessions' legal conclusion was that DACA "is vulnerable to the same legal and

constitutional challenges that the courts recognized with respect to the DAPA program."
