good morning everybody yeah it's a very cool here it's very

interesting for because the town I live in doesn't get a lot of snow ever really I

mean it does snow but like a little bit but right now it's snowing pretty damn

good

okay so it's super super cold my feet are freezing and look at all this snow

like it's something we don't get here so I'm gonna carry on taking some photos

and go back to the house because it's cold

I thought come on take the opportunity just to I don't know be in the snowment

I'm here in this snowy morning here and those days when you're in school and

you're like oh man I wish it snowed and we'd day off well that happened

yesterday for pretty much everybody on the island then yeah what I'm gonna do

is just if I come out and shoot some photos in the snow because I don't I'm trying to up my

Customer Spotlight: How to Clean Paint Protection Film - Lamborghini Performante | Chemical Guys - Duration: 9:22.

What's up Chemical Guys family!

Today we have a special treat for you. This is Cody.

He's a cool guy with a cool car.

We're going to show you how to properly wash your exotic car without adding any swirls

or scratches and also enhance that gloss.

So, Cody, why don't you tell us about this cool car.

So, what we have here is the Lamborghini Huracan Perfomante, otherwise known as "Purplemonte"

because it's pretty obvious.

This car, I took delivery in October of 2017 and because it's cold where we are and snowy,

what better place to bring it out to than the Chemical Guys Headquarters here to help

me detail it.

We've been driving it around in the canyons.

This is the fastest car that Lamborghini currently makes and it's the second fastest car in the

world to lap the Nurburgring.

So it's great to have you help me out to clean this up because it's been a mess.

Absolutely.

So, you've taken this out yesterday to the canyons and got a little dirty, right?

That's exactly right.

And it's the fastest car...

how fast have you had this up to?

Um, well... pretty fast.

Let's just say that.

The interesting thing in the canyons though is you can't really push it to its top speed.

But the thing about this car is it literally sticks to the ground and it rotates in ways

that really blows your mind.

Because I drive my cars, I don't believe in Garage Queens, you know, you got to enjoy

it, so, it gets dirty and you want that paint to look its best every time, so I'm here to have you

guys give me some tips on how to keep it looking as purple as it does.

It's an amazing color, very different color, I love it.

Very crazy.

Even on a gloomy day like today, it still has a very awesome vibe to it.

Now, you're saying that you take this to the canyons.

Does that effect on rock chips with you?

Yeah, so the car is fully protected by PPF.

This is XPEL Ultimate and I do this with all my cars because, again, you want to try to

protect this paint.

Trying to correct the actual paint if you get these rock chips in it, t's a nightmare.

It's more than it's worth.

So, for me, I've protected the entire car.

So all the exposed surfaces are covered with that.

And even with that, I know that that PPF requires care as well and so I use the foam cannon

at home.

I use your products.

I use two bucket solution as well.

And it's still a struggle, right, but I know I am going to learn some things from you guys

today.

Let's hope so.

Alrighty Cody, so today we are going to using our two bucket method with our foam cannon

and our all new Watermelon Scent soap to product tons of suds so we don't scratch that finish

and also enhance that shine.

Let's get started.

So before we start the rinsing process, we're going to set up both our buckets.

As usual, we have our two buckets: one for our rinsing and one for our soap.

And now we are going to place a Dirt Trap in each one of our buckets which is going

to filter out as much of the contamination and abrasive particles of dirt, this way so

we don't scratch the wrap that's on this vehicle.

Now, I've placed them in at angle and this reduces any air getting trapped in underneath

the cones.

So what it's going to do is as you run your wash mitt over that platform, it's going to

force the dirt under the platform, keeping it off the vehicle.

So, now we will add one once of our Watermelon Scent to our wash bucket and it has this really

nice watermelon scent and it will adds this really nice glow to the bucket.

We'll also add the same amount of wash solution to our foam cannon.

It's already been filled up with water.

A detailing trick is to add warm water to your foam cannon.

This will help aerate the product as you're foaming.

And now we will reattach the top and I've said it before, but I will say it again: what

you want to do is have it nice and snug, not too tight cause you don't want to strip it.

And then work back and forth.

Not shaking it up violently, but just gently mixing the solution together.

This way, it's not creating foam and suds inside the bottle, but rather, as you're aerating.

So with any detail, you want to start with the dirtiest area, being the wheels.

This car is pretty well maintained, so there's not a whole lot of brake dust or road debris,

so we will go over that pretty quickly.

What I'm going to do is rinse off the vehicle starting with the top and working my way down.

This is because on all vehicles, the flat panels are what collect grime, dirt, anything

that's really abrasive and if we rinse from sides and then work our way to the flat panels,

we're going to create more work ourselves because that's bringing dirt into areas we've

already cleaned.

So, we're working from top to bottom and also in straight lines we're reducing the chances

of scratching the vehicle as well as making more work for ourselves.

So, with that being said, we'll get the pressure washer out, start rinsing,

then we can actually start foaming

So, after using the Big Mouth Foam Cannon and that Watermelon Scent Soap, you can see

that it's produced tons of suds that's adding lubrication, but more importantly, it's going

to enhance that shine while we wash.

So, now, we've got our second bucket here full of soap and foam and now we're going

to take our microfiber wash mitt, let's grab some of these thick suds.

This is, again, going to help lubricate our wash mitt, so in case we trap any abrasive

particles, we're not dragging them across the surface and scratching the finish.

And now we'll start at the top and working in long passes and linear motions, you can

also roll the wash mitt so you are creating anew fresh edge as you wipe.

Periodically, we are going to go back to our second bucket to wring out the abrasive particles

or whatever else we picked up on the surface because although this car is brand new and

well maintained, there's always going to be some type of dirt or debris on there that

can actually scratch the paint.

So now that's why we're going to come back to our second bucket.

I'll press all the way to the bottom against that Dirt Trap and what this is doing is it's

forcing any of that contamination on the wash mitt underneath those cones, that way we keep

them off the vehicle.

In order to keep this bucket as clean as possible, and further reduce the chances of abrasive

particles of dirt returning to the car, we are going to take it outside, wring it on on the ground.

And now that we've got most of the old water off, we are going to grab some more soap and

we can keep on washing.

So now that we've rinsed off all the spent soap and debris, we're going to dry it because

although it's not very hot outside, it's actually pretty gloomy, water can still spot and dry

and that can etch the paint.

So we are going to use our Elegant Edgeless Towel which is going to prevent any kind of

swirls or scratches because there is no edge and it picks up a lot of water nice and easily

and it's also a very large towel.

So there's a few different ways you can dry a vehicle.

You can pat it dry, where you just simply place the towel on the vehicle, and this traps

the water.

This is a way to ensure you don't swirl the vehicle because the towel isn't moving .

And you can see it's got a perfectly dry finish.

Or we can also do our traditional style where you fold it up into four and then we gently

place on the vehicle working in straight lines and we can also roll the towel and that picks

up a lot of water for a scratch-free shine.

So, if you guys liked this car, be sure to give it a thumbs up.

Don't forget to subscribe and comment down below.

The Best Cheap Turkey Burger in NYC || Operation $5 Lunch - Duration: 6:49.

- My name is Prez, and I work at Thrillist.

Around these parts, I'm known as the 5 Dollar Lunch Guy.

Every episode, I'm gonna put you guys onto the

very finest New York grub for $5 or less.

- Hello to you, too.

See what we got here today.

Huh -- turkey burger,

the underrated brother of the beef burger.

Now when it comes to turkey burgers, you can get them at

health-conscious spots, burger specialty joints,

but most of those are out of our budget.

- Oh, hey, Prez, you should check out

David's Brisket House in Bed-Stuy.

They're known for their New York classic sandwiches,

but their turkey burgers are really, really good.

- OK, I mean, have you had it before?

- Yeah, of course, I wouldn't say it

if it's not legit, you know?

- [Off-camera audience] Whoa!

- Good point.

All right, guys, let's go. (whooshing)

Yo, shout-out to Fredy for putting us onto

David's Brisket House, which, according to Thrillist,

is one of the best places in the city

to get a classic New York-style sandwich.

Now, when you usually think of a turkey burger,

you're usually not thinking of a brisket house in Bed-Stuy,

but when it comes to cheap food,

leave no stone unturned, am I right?

It's five bucks somewhere.

Let's go.

- So, these are the rules

of "Operation 5 Buck Lunch."

It's gotta be good, 'cause nobody wants bad food for lunch.

No big chains, 'cause that's just too easy.

It's gotta be $5 or less, and whatever I don't use today

rolls over into the next episode.

(upbeat music)

- If you had to choose between a turkey burger

and a regular beef burger, what are you going for?

- A regular beef burger.

- Regular beef burger, man.

- I'd choose a regular burger.

- Why is that?

- I just like beef.

- Juicy.

- Why would somebody get a turkey burger?

- Maybe if they think it's more healthy

or a better substitute than beef.

- Some people love turkey burgers

because they're the leaner, healthier choice,

and a few straight-up only love the classic beef burger.

But no matter where you stand on the issue,

I think we can all agree there was enough room

for Jack on the door at the end of the "Titanic" movie.

♪ "Hymn to the Sea" ♪

But now that we're here in Bed-Stuy, let's get it.

- Now, if you don't know, I'm 'bout to put you on.

Spike Lee's classic film "Do the Right Thing"

was filmed right here in Bed-Stuy,

not too far away on Stuyvesant Ave.

Now, while the pizza store was fake,

the event that inspired the script,

which was written in two weeks,

actually occurred in Howard Beach.

Now you know -- let's go.

There we are, David's Brisket House, Bed-Stuy, Nostrand.

Let's go eat.

(upbeat music)

As soon as you walk in here, this feels like

a classic deli, you know what I mean?

They have, you know, accolades, the "Voice," "New York Times."

They have, like, a food wall for people who do challenges.

I mean, I might try that at some point,

but this isn't the show for that.

Yeah, man, this place just feels legit.

No frills, just food. (whooshing)

Hey, what's going on, how you doing?

- Hey, how are you?

- What's your name?

- My name is Riyadh.

- Prez, nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you.

- So, this is my first time here to David's Brisket House.

What do people need to know about this place?

- Well, this place has been around for over 50 years.

We keep it the same way.

We haven't changed a bit.

- Now, what is your favorite?

- My favorite is brisket, hands down.

- OK, well, unfortunately, I only have five bucks,

so I'm here for your turkey burger.

What can you tell me about that?

- [Riyadh] Well, turkey burger is more of a substitute

to people that don't like red meat, which is lighter,

kinda, you know, easier for the stomach to digest.

- [Prez] Right, right, right.

- [Riyadh] And it doesn't put you to sleep.

- [Prez] OK, I feel you.

I mean, if you're choosing between, like, a burger,

regular burger and a turkey burger, which one are you going?

- Personally, I would go with the light one,

which is a turkey burger. - Oh, really?

Oh, awesome, OK, well, I'm gonna go with that then.

How much is that? - It is $4.50.

(dinging) - $4.50?

Brilliant, awesome.

There you go.

- Would you like anything on it?

(cash register rings up) Lettuce, tomatoes, the works?

- Yeah, lettuce, tomato, the works, the works, man.

- Got it.

- Everything except for mustard.

No mustard. (whooshing)

- David's Brisket House's turkey burger.

(camera clicking) Yo, it's your boy,

bringing you cheap food realness.

Let's do it.

First bite.

Mm.

Yeah.

Do you remember the people we spoke to on the train?

Their No. 1 reason for maybe not choosing

a turkey burger over a beef burger is because

they seem to be dry, maybe they don't have enough flavor.

I can tell you right now, this debunks all of those myths,

because, I mean, look at it. (camera clicking)

This thing is dripping.

Mm.

Mayo and ketchup right up top.

You have, of course, your lettuce,

your tomatoes, your onions -- very standard fare.

Now, I didn't get cheese for a particular reason.

I wanted to make sure for you guys

that this is a proper burger, so I wanted to make sure that

the turkey flavor wasn't being overpowered by the cheese.

Now, you might've noticed that I didn't put the pickles

in my sandwich, and I haven't touched it yet.

I am not a pickle guy, but (inhales sharply)

I know those of you out there are,

so I will eat my first pickle ever,

live on all of the internets, for you.

For y'all. (pickle crunches)

(explosion)

Yep, mm-hmm, I'm still not a pickle guy.

(upbeat music)

They took the time to kinda, like,

do this right, and I can appreciate that.

And, like, a brisket house making a turkey burger?

You're not expecting it, but this is damn good,

and especially for $4.50.

You can't beat that, you know?

I've paid upwards of, like, $12 to $15

for a fancy turkey burger with fries

and all the accoutrement that are

supposed to make it taste good.

Mm.

Oof, that was absolutely fantastic.

Hands down, I will say, Prez 100% cosigns this

as the best turkey burger I have ever had.

I 100% would come back for this.

$4.50?

You can't beat it.

Now, let's take this outside. (whooshing)

Today's mission was turkey burger, but we came all the way

out to David's Brisket House in Bed-Stuy

to have what I believe was the best turkey burger

I will ever have, for under five bucks.

We even got a little piece of brisket,

which was kinda nice, man.

I'm definitely gonna be back.

And with all of those New York, classic-style

deli sandwiches, that are way cheaper

than anywhere else I've seen them,

I'm 100% coming back, guys.

Now, with all that being said,

today's mission was an absolute success.

It's in budget, it's not a big chain,

and, say it with me, it's damn good.

Anyways, I gotta get back to the city.

I'll see you later.

Bye.

Token Theatre Friends: Shirtless, Singing Jesus! - Duration: 13:43.

Hey everyone, welcome. I'm Jose.

And I'm Diep

And we're your Token Theatre Friends

Putting a splash of color into criticism to since 2018.

Yay!!!

Today we're gonna be talking about three shows.

Jerry Springer the Opera at the New Group

Kings at the Public Theater

And High Noon at the Axis Theatre.

It takes place in a small town in the 19th century.

Where the sheriff just got married.

It's his very last day on the job.

And just as he's about to leave town with his new wife.

He learns that one of his biggest enemies, some guy he sent to

prison for murder is coming back to town

The movie is one of my favorite movies. It's a 1952 film and it was a

wonderful take on McCarthyism.

So I have to say that I really like the vision that director Randy Sharp.

who's also the artistic director of Access Theatre Company

had for this show. It was very fast

it's an hour long and moved super quick. It felt like it was edited

like a movie in a way.

It's interesting you say that the original, I haven't seen the original movie

Because I'm a big fan of Westerns. But the original was an

allegory for McCarthyism and I think this version was like an allegory

for gun control and toxic masculinity.

But unfortunately we're gonna have to inaugurate our very first

Pale Fail with the show. This show featured an entirely

white ensemble. There's like ten people onstage.

And this was especially bothersome to me because one of the characters has a

Hispanic last name. In the show they explained that she married a Hispanic

guy so technically you know it could have been a white lady marrying a

Hispanic person. But I mean this character Helen Ramirez in the 1952

movie was played by the incredible Mexican actress Katy Jurado who was

even nominated for a Golden Globe for it. If in 1952 at peak

Hollywood whiteness, they were able to find a Mexican actress,

how does a theatre company in 2018 in New York City

How are they unable to do this? I don't get it. I don't get it.

There are no kings in the show. It's mainly ladies. Four people.

Three women. And it's about the lobbyists and how lobbyists and money are

basically controlling all of our politicians. I didn't come in

expecting to like it because I'm not a big fan of political drama onstage

or on TV, because I always feel like it's really overwrought and they

over dramatize it. But what I appreciate about Kings was that

it wasn't sentimental about what it was talking about

But it was very clear on where it stood. And I found it refreshing because

it was mostly women talking to each other about their jobs which if you know

anything about American entertainment women are not allowed to talk about our

jobs very often to each other. So I love that it passes the Bechdel test

with flying marks. It leapt over it in like the first scene.

But the one thing that I have to say about the show is that, and this is

obviously completely personal, but I just don't have the heart anymore

to see smart, well-prepared, strong women lose political battles.

[laughter] Did you just spoil the show?

Well maybe. But I just don't have the heart for

it anymore.

It's interesting you brought that up because one failing I

did think about the play was it presented a problem that we all know

about and it presented that problem very well but I like my theatre to

Give me something to think about in terms of solutions or ways that I can

help change the world, especially when it's political theatre.

In the opera, Jerry Springer is played by the incredible Terrence Mann

Who is in the middle of one of his episodes when someone shoots him.

So the second half of the show basically takes place in the afterlife where the Devil

Played by the incredible Will Swenson

Forces poor Jerry to do an episode of his show in hell

Jerry Springer is like so American. For better or for worse he represents a

lot of what America is. I like how Richard Thomas filtered that.

That's also about our love of seedy reality television because I remember

being like seven or eight years old watching Jerry Springer on late-night

and being really compelled by it and you can see the line from that

to the Kardashians to the present White House.

What I found really interesting was, it was kind of like

watching an episode of the Jerry Springer Show where I liked it despite

how terrible everyone on that stage was. It was really entertaining

But then afterwards I left and I was like that was odd.

I feel kind of guilty for liking that.

But I will say that ensemble's one of the most talented

ensemble in New York right now because they all play like two or three roles

I want to give a big shout out to Justin Keyes who plays Jesus

and who also plays a man who wants to be a baby.

He's so hot.

And he's a beautiful singer and he's shirtless half of the time.

When you're watching musical theatre that's basically all you want. [laughs]

Okay so now let's pick the show that we would go see again.

If we had to pay for it. Yes. So, Diep.

Can I break our only one-episode- long rule by saying

Black Light by Daniel Alexander Jones at the Public Theater/Joe's Pub/

the person we're interviewing in approximately two minutes?

That's cheating!

Well I'm gonna go with Jerry Springer the Opera

because I think it's a lot of fun it has an incredible cast

It has great music and hey, you get Terrance Mann and Will Swenson

Two JaverTs for the price of one ticket so go see it

Javert you mean? Yeah Javert.

And shirtless Jesus. [laughs]

So next up we took a little trip to the Public Theater

to talk to the amazing Daniel Alexander Jones about his

new show Black Light so let's take a look.

So can you tell us a little bit about what the show is about?

It's centered around my alter-ego Jomama Jones who I always think of less as a

character and more as an energy that visits me. And this show feels like

a response to the moment we're in. To the current political social climate.

And thinking about the crossroads that we're at as a nation.

And so I let Jomama respond to that idea. So we wrote a bunch of new songs.

We took some of our favorite songs from our records

and I pulled together this extraordinary band.

It's a lot of fun I think, even though it goes deep, it invites you to

have fun too. Each song reminded me of an artist I love.

I'm really curious about what your process is in both paying tribute to artists

that you clearly love so much but also crafting new music that's all

your own. I love that question.

They are a constant presence with me, those songs, those albums,

and those artists And when I sit down to

write, I usually start with a question and that question will be

like, kind of like the oyster stuffed with the pearl, it rubs me, it rubs me.

And I then go to one of my collaborators and we talk about the idea.

We talk about the question.

But we work very quickly. I do with all of my songwriting collaborators.

It's a quick process. And then I look back and I'm like, oh wow

there is a tie to a Sade song or a song by Teena Marie or

Prince for sure. But rarely is it that we've gone out and picked a song and

modeled it. It's kind of in our blood and that feels really thrilling to me.

The first line Jomama says in the show is "What if I told you everything is

going to be alright." And especially in this moment of things feeling

very unsteady, how do you stay positive?

For me it is 100% that I come from the lineage of artists and activists and

family members that I do. I look back and I see that they faced equally if not

more sobering times. And it's overwhelming right now and I think

especially for those of us who felt in the shift toward the Obama Administration

a certain kind of movement away from a particular kind of

right-wing ideology, it's been a really harsh awakening to have that restored

and be so aggressively central to our experience in the nation right now.

Okay so Jomama Jones does 13 costume changes in Black Light

So what is the key to a really fast costume change?

I kind of made the analogy the other day. My assistant who's doing

the costume changes has to hurl herself at Jomama

like a howler monkey, like just go at it!

And we kind of say a little prayer.

It's a little bit like a car wash, an attack. You just have to go at it

Thank you so much Daniel. We love your show.

And we love you. And we hope you're gonna be back on our show.

Thank you so much, it was a pleasure to speak with you.

And I look forward to next time

Welcome back! And for today's 11 o'clock number

which we will not be singing

We had a question or a comment from our first episode!

Oh my god you guys are delivering so much already.

Jean wrote, "I hope that Token Theatre Friends will address ways to get

paying POC audiences into theatre seats."

I have thoughts on that. [laughs]

So I feel like when we're talking about how to get

people who look like us into theatre, I always come back to the

"Field of Dreams." If you build it they will come.

You frequent Repertorio Español and I frequent

Ma-Yi Theatre Company in New York City.

Both theatres of color doing works by people of color and those are

places I see the most POC audiences.

There's also I think a very huge need

for some sensitivity training, especially with white people who work in theatres.

Because I cannot tell you the number of times where ushers at

Broadway theatres have asked me if I'm sure I'm in the right place.

Especially when I have orchestra seats because I'm a critic.

And they're like, "are you sure you're not supposed to be upstairs?"

Sometimes I don't feel welcome and I go to hundreds of shows every year

Sometimes I don't feel welcome in theatres.

Right, and if you're not going to welcome Jose with his amazing facial hair

and top knot and diva shirt.

How are you gonna welcome other young people?

Dominique Morrisseau wrote that amazing piece for American Theatre about

all the old white people shushing young people of color

who go to the theatre because they--- And who laugh!

Yeah. We laugh and we like to engage

with what it is that we're seeing! We don't like to sit back and be like,

"Yes, show me."

I think we should wrap it up for our second episode! So soon? No!!!

If you want more, let us know if you want less, let us know

Or if you have any other thoughts just leave us a comment below.

Until then Token Theatre Friends out.

Bye.....

How can Diep and I become your new vibrations?

Oh my gosh you just have to come to a rehearsal!

Oh yeah that's it.

Yeah and just you know, do your vocal warm-ups and come to practice and

we'll see what we can do.

We love the current vibrations.

Yeah I know. There you go, you never know.

and then we are shocked to find ourselves adrift.

Now, the collapse is upon us.

And this time, the lives of the few

outweigh the lives of the many.

We will cull the herd.

We will do what needs to be done.

Damn, we really screwed that up A bad attempt at love

They never told us it would be this tough Damn, I miss the way you kiss

And fumble with your wrists When I made you nervous

I don't wanna know How you broke your soul

I just wanna know How to repair us both

We're shedding our skin We're putting out our forest fire

So we can breathe in, start again We're shedding our skin

We're putting out our forest fire So we can breathe in, start again

Sleep in your skin Too thick for a shirt

You said all the right lines You never rehearsed

I'd live in my head But you're there instead

Just watching yourself in reverse Well, pastel pink

You should have known That I would lie if we

Were all alone Now pale and plain

And failed at fate Our ghosts can

Hover home We're shedding our skin

We're putting out our forest fire So we can breathe in, start again

We're shedding our skin We're putting out our forest fire

So we can breathe in, start again

Thorin!

Thorin.

The Half ling?

It's all right.

Bilbo is here.

He's quite safe.

You!

What were you doing?

You nearly got...

...yourself killed!

Did I not say...

...that you would be a burden?

That you would not survive in the Wild?

That you had no place amongst us?

I have never been so wrong in all my life.

I am sorry I doubted you.

No, I would have doubted me too.

I'm not a hero...

...or a warrior.

Not even...

...a burglar.

Is that what I think it is?

Erebor...

...the Lonely Mountain...

...the last of the great Dwarf kingdoms...

...of Middle-earth.

Our home.

A raven!

The birds...

...are returning to the mountain.

That, my dear Oin...

...is a thrush.

But we'll take it as a sign.

A good omen.

You're right.

I do believe the worst is behind us.

Quests | Killing Lost Exiles (Dangerous Depths) - Tibia - Duration: 4:27.

Hiho guys! Welcome to a new video!

I have heard a lot of complaints related to the task called Home in Dangerous Depth Quest

also known as warzone tasks

So I decided to look for a solution for this situation in order to make it easier for everyone

Makeshift Homes spawn very close one to another and respawn very quickly

But you can actually kill Lost Exiles after killing only one single home

As you can see the Stoneshower rune marks the last sqm they flee back to a home

and the Avalanche marks where you can finally kill the Lost Exile

The trick is on the distance you have to keep from the remaining homes which is 20 squares away from them

they spawn on the same place most of the times, a few times their position change one sqm in any direction

so take it into consideration before killing the Lost Exiles

So killing them 20 sqms away from the closest home should be more than enough to do this task truly faster

The recorded places are a reference for you to make it faster

But it can be applied to any other makeshift home if sqms, of course, are counted properly

Diagonal sqms do not count, only lineal ones

Thanks for watching guys, Like, Subscribe and see you soon

There Are 3,000 Compounds in Your Pee, What Do They Say About Your Health? - Duration: 3:04.

It's translucent, sterile, amber-colored and generated by your kidneys.

Yep we're talking about your urine and I'm here to tell you that you're flushing secrets

about your health straight down the drain.

We can learn SO much about you, with just a cup of pee.

When you think of a urine test, you probably think about drug and pregnancy tests.

Pregnancy tests measure human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) that is a hormone ONLY produced while

you're pregnant.

And common drug tests look for the presence of multiple drugs in a panel deemed the "SAMHSA-5."

But those are just two testing methods, and there are over 3000 different compounds in

your urine.

Three thousand!

Think of all the things you could learn!

Currently we've know that pee is a pretty good gauge of what's going on in your urinary

system on a basic level.

I'm sure you've peed in a cup or two over the years when you go to the doctor.

And it's not just to prove you don't have stage fright.

Pee is 95% water, and metabolites, but the rest could be things like glucose, ketone

bodies, nitrates, proteins, and hormones just to name a few.

However, we're not really supposed to find these compounds in your pee.

High glucose could mean diabetes, proteins could be chronic kidney disease, and any nitrites

are likely a urinary tract infection!

But doctors are also scanning your pee for a few other key things: volume, color, odor.

Volume could tell them how hydrated (or not hydrated) you are, color can indicate if someone's

kidneys are functioning properly, and cloudy urine can mean a UTI.

And a very strong odor could mean a serious infection.

Now that might seem like a lot already, but remember we're working with 3000 compounds

here!

Scientists don't want to let this waste go to… well, waste and they're working

on detecting gastrointestinal cancers.

And the metabolites in our pee could help us do that

Metabolites are the chemical by-products that our cells make during metabolism, since cells

come from different locations in the body and are affected by energy and nutrient intake,

their metabolites a can tell us a lot of our environmental interactions The scientists

basically used these as biomarkers for any disease or cancers in our GI tract And boom

it worked.

GI cancers altered the metabolic signatures and it's all reflected in our pee for us

to see!

More research is needed, but this could be a game changer for straying away from costly

and invasive cancer screenings and starting preventative care All you gotta do is, ya

know, pee in that cup.

So, pee can't tell us direct answers but the information pee gives hints at what the

bigger picture is inside of us.

We've come a long way from just flushing our good information-rich urine to really

understanding how we can utilize this gross resource to something beneficial for all.

Hey guys thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe.

We may be finding cancer, but porcupines are finding a whole other way to use their pee,

check out Wild Sex cover it here.

Fun Fact: The average human generates up to 2 liters of urine every day!

Meaning over a lifetime you could fill a small backyard swimming pool.

Kinda gross.

Thanks for watching.

CLASH ROYALE PROTIPS #7 - LEARN HOW TO USE THE MAGIC ARCHER WITH ADRIÁN PIEDRA! - Duration: 2:58.

Hello everyone and welcome to a new Clash Royale pro tips episode

In today's episode we will talk about the last card added to the game: the Magic Archer

We will see how he performs in the arena and analyse his strengths and weaknesses

The Magic Archer doesn't have many hitpoints, he dies to a fireball

Nor does he have much DPS (damage per second) taking into account that he costs 4 Elixir to deploy

He kills Skeletons with one shot, Goblins and Minions with two shots

and troops like the Princess and the Dart Goblin with three shots.

But what makes the Magic Archer strong is his hit speed, his range and,

above all, the projectile range (how far his arrows travel)

The projectile passes through enemies up to 11 tiles

He also does splash damage, although the radius is very small (0.25)

His projectile range and his splash damage are very effective to defend ourselves against Beatdown attacks

he can even be compared to a executioner

If there are troops behind the tank, the Magic Archer can get rid of them with a well-placed tornado

We can make the most of the Ice Spirit's synergy with the Tornado

By doing so, you will be able to line up all the troops and the Magic Archer will destroy them

The Magic Archer's range is 7, higher than that of the Dart Goblin

yet he cannot fire at the enemy tower from the other side of the bridge,

otherwise he would be extremely strong

unless there is a troop in the opponent's side of the arena

In this case we will be able to line him up with the tower and slowly damage it from our side of the arena

Do huts bother you? Don't worry, the Magic Archer will destroy them easily

To defend ourselves against the Magic Archer,

we can surround him with a group of units since his splash radius is very small

although you'll have to be fast or he will hit our tower

We can distract or kill him with an individual troop

but we must never position said troop lined up with our tower or the archer's projectile will damage it

We can also activate our king's tower with the Magic Archer

To do so, we must pull him towards the centre with the Tornado while positioning a troop so that the projectile will hit it

That's all for today's pro tips, we hope you liked it and we will see you in the next video.

The Santa Ana Overdrive | Effect Pedals | Fender - Duration: 8:33.

[MUSIC]

Hey there, how's it going?

I'm Rick Heins, the amp dude at Fender.

>> I'm Stan Cotey, I design pedals at Fender.

>> And we're here today to talk about the Santa Ana Overdrive,

Fender's unique awesome sounding overdrive circuit.

>> It is a FET-based distortion pedal.

FET stands for Field Effect Transistor.

It's a type of technology that while its solid state it

has some of the characteristics of a tube in terms of how it performs dynamically.

So it let's you turn down your volume control and clean up, and

do some of the same things you'd do with a ragingly overdriven tube amp.

And this pedal's cool cause it has a high voltage power supply that's stabilized so

no matter what the incoming voltage is, it holds it which is important for the FETs.

And it runs the frets on higher voltage which makes them,

to me sound even more tube-like.

It's got some really cool features.

It's got a boost and the boost is selectable to either give you more drive.

Which is great for going from like, rhythm kind of crunch tones into searing,

lead tones.

You can also make it a level boost.

So I can just kick the whole volume level of the pedal up while preserving the tone.

It's got a 3-band tone stack that are very amp-like tone controls, and

it's got a presence control again, kind of keeping with the amp theme.

There's this awesome voicing switch, which,

sometimes the amps are not pedal friendly.

Sometimes the amps are inherently bright.

Like the vibrato channel of a Deluxe Reverb has a bright cap built into it.

So this has a voicing switch that helps with that,

it revoices the pedal to work with those kinds of amps.

So it's friendly towards a lot of different amps.

>> While I like the organic nature of it like when I was playing I realized I

could roll back the volume, it was really sensitive to the touch.

Obviously there is quite a bit gain on there but

even those low gain tones I thought sounded great.

Having a three band or four bands I should say, it's really nice having the presence,

it gives you a little bit of a cut which I like.

I just think it is a really fun peddle to play.

>> So much of that to me,

like the mid-range character of an overdrive peddle is really important.

Some overdrive pedals have tons of midrange and

it's all you get out of the pedal.

Because, not only the mid control but

also the presence control kind of affects high mids.

So it gives you a couple different ways to shape the mid range which really affects

the punchiness of the pedal.

You can really set it to where you can be more transparent and kind of

disappear into the track that you're playing, or the song that you're playing.

Or you can turn the mids up more and be a lot more front and center and

present without necessarily being a lot louder.

>> Yeah and sometimes over drive circuits,

they're very midcentric which can be great for some amps.

But having the ability to blend in that bass so you don't lose all that low end,

is a really nice thing.

>> Okay.

>> And to your point, with the voicing switch, if you're using like EL84s or

things that tend to be brighter in nature like you said bringing that down

really does help kind of warm up the top end which is great.

This pedal has a kind of a fun feature in that it has a selectable true bypass or

buffered bypass and there's a little switch on the back that let's you do that.

And that's kind of a fun thing.

If you're a purist and you really just want a true bypass kind of thing so

it doesn't affect the rest of your signal.

But if it's early in your signal chain, having a buffer sometimes is great if

you're punching through a whole bunch of other pedals on the way to your amp,

so just a nice feature to have.

>> Well, what's cool about the boost feature I think,

to your point is that you can have it actually saturate so

that you get the boost that's going to give you more gain.

>> Like organically.

>> Yeah.

Or the boost where you just need to have that solo kind of rise over the top when

you're playing live or something, so that's a really nice feature.

>> More like pushing a fader up on a console.

>> Absolutely, and it doesn't seem to color the sound either, what I notice.

>> Mm-hm. >> Yeah.

>> Mm-hm.

Yeah I think on the drive part of the boost there might

be a touch more mid range, but the overall level boost is just pretty pure.

It's just like, just more.

>> Why don't I play something and then we'll add the boost to it and

you can try two different things- >> Yeah.

>> And see how it sounds.

>> Yeah, yeah. >> So I think we'll start with the drive

boost to show you what more gain is like.

>> That is the dry tone.

[MUSIC]

See you can hear some more upper mids kind of coming through, so

it bites a little more.

And now I'll switch over to the level boost.

[MUSIC]

So, it got quite a bit louder and

I think we actually are getting into the amp a little bit.

Because the amp kind of barked a little when we did.

>> Yeah, it's pushing the power section, I guess, right?

>> Yeah, yeah.

This pedal came about, we have a guy that works for us called Alex Aguilar.

And he's known a bit in the bass world, but he's a great guitar player, and

he's done a lot of high gain design stuff in the past.

So you and I had a conversation about FETs and

about what we could do about the context of a pedal.

One of the things that Alex suggested was to do

a kind of trick power supply that runs at high voltage internally.

So the power supply in this thing regulates the incoming voltage and

it keeps at an internal high voltage.

So that if your battery is sagging or if you're on different power supplies,

the pedal is still running on a consistent voltage the whole time.

So it sounds the same from gig to gig, night to night, whatever.

>> With the doubling of the voltage internally,

a lot of players feel like when you have a pedal like that it's more tube-like,

it reacts more like an amplifier.

There´s more of a dynamic range.

>> Uh-huh, uh-huh, exactly.

And it gets louder too, that´s one of the cool things about the headroom is,

as a clean boost, this pedal can deliver a significant amount of output voltage.

So like in all of our playing examples, the level control is down here around 9:00

o'clock, 11:00 o'clock, but there's plenty of room for it to go up.

So if you want to set the drive control to where it´s pretty clean, and just make it

more like a mid boost or a punchy kind of boost, there's plenty of room for that.

>> Right, so you're hitting the power amp and making the amp distort internally.

If you got tubes, it cooks them I guess.

>> Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Exactly.

>> Yeah, and for those tone junkies out there.

Just so you know, we decided to go pretty simply with the setup

I've got a Blues Junior, Stan's got the Princeton Reverb.

It's pretty much guitar, cable, overdrive and that's it.

Another great thing about the Santa Ana and

all the Fender pedals is we really thought about players playing live and

added just small features we thought that would be great.

Things like the door for the battery is a flip top.

So you can actually get to it really easily.

So if you're on stage, and you need to replace it quickly.

And then also, if you notice that the glowing knobs.

You can turn those on and off.

So if you're on stage, you want to know where all the knobs are set, just in case

things bump when you move stuff around, it's really great for that sort of thing.

I mean, even simple things like the input and output on the pedal.

Are different angles.

So if you're doing your pedal board,

they'll sit next to each other a little closer than if you had them parallel.

So that's the Santa Ana Overdrive.

Thanks for watching.

Stay tuned here for more videos.

"What are we waiting for?" - Elif Episode 680 | Season 4 Episode 120 (English & Spanish subtitles) - Duration: 6:13.

We just passed through number 27,

this is 25,

- Which number did the agent say, Jülide? - He said 23, sis.

This gotta be the one.

No, I don't think this is it.

Look, this is a really good house.

The agent told me that the price is very reasonable.

Look, Jülide, it says number 23 on it.

Yes, so this is the place.

I'm surprised, it is, really.

So, OK, come on then. Let's go in there.

Oh, how wonderful!

That looks amazing.

Yes, it's adorable.

I hope the interior is like the exterior.

Oh, God. Please, smile at us.

Let's see, hopefully it's the place that we'll find reasonable and be happy with.

- Ms. Jülide? - Hello.

Welcome. Come in, I'll give you a tour.

What a great luck.

All the renovation was done right in time.

Glad that I ran into the handyman Sait.

Hope nothing goes wrong there.

Hopefully she'll rent the place, without suspecting anything.

House is recently out of the renovation. Everything is brand new.

Renovation was done till the doors.

Fitted with brand new cupboards, as sound as bell, high quality.

It is, indeed. You'll be able to fit everything in it.

It is important for us, ladies.

You're right. Ladies notice those first.

Jülide, dear,

You'll put the glasses there,

they'll fit there right.

No need for painting the walls.

It smells that the paint is fresh.

It is, it's almost new.

Exactly. It's a clean house. Get your stuff and settle in, that's it.

You won't have to deal with a thing.

Oh, Jülide, I loved it in here! How about you?

I really liked it, it's beautiful.

- What about the rent? - Since you've seen the kitchen, we can see the rest.

Go ahead.

Sure, let's see.

It's really spacious, fresh.

It's well lightened for most of the time.

Clearly.

We'll put the couches over there, and armchairs there.

In fact, we can have the TV over there.

We've already set the whole place up in our minds.

Very beautiful. More than I was expecting.

I really liked it.

Same thoughts here, Jülide.

Alright, but the most important thing is for me...

is the rent. How much do they ask for the rent?

Well, I should say that you won't be able to find a better deal.

It's really reasonable.

800 liras.

- Only 800? - Yes.

I'm surprised, if I'm honest.

How could that happen?

You're not mistaken, right? That is very little for this place.

No, Ms. Jülide.

Not a mistake at all.

It's 800 liras per month.

What's going on there?

I need to call the handyman Sait.

What's up, teacher Safak? Is there something wrong with the house?

Nope, nothing wrong, handyman Sait.

God bless your hands. Everything is perfect.

I called for you, for something else.

Go ahead, I'm listening.

I'll ask for something.

If my mother calls you,

is it possible for you, not to tell the renovation is complete, and I got the key from you?

She shouldn't know about it.

I'm sorry, teacher Safak, but I understand nothing.

Why would I say that?

There's something important, that's why.

Oh, Mrs. Leman has been cornering me for a while, if everything was done in the house.

Now if she asks and I tell her it's not finished yet, that'll be a trouble for me.

Handyman Sait, I know that I'll put you on a tight spot,

but can you get along for a few days?

Alright, teacher. Your words stop the flowing river. (Turkish idiom)

Let's make it your way.

Thank you so much.

- That'll be a huge favour for me. - Don't mention it, teacher Safak.

Thanks again, a lot.

I have no chance, I need to keep mom away.

Whatever. It'll settle down in time.

Jülide now has a place to stay, that's what matters.

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge All Terrain Front Floor Liners - Black (2007-2013 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 4:14.

These Rugged Ridge all-terrain front floor mats in black are for those of you that have

a 2007 to 2013 JK, that are looking to add a floor mat, to add some protection to your

interior, and also to change up the look a little bit.

Our floor mat, of course, is going to be a very simple one out of three wrench install.

You're just gonna throw these into place in less than five minutes.

But we'll talk a little bit more about that process in just a second.

Now, when it comes to floor mats, there are going to be a couple of different options

out there for you.

You can get a universal fit floor mat, that are usually going to be pretty flimsy, not

have very high sides on them to catch and hold debris and water, and they're also not

going to be specifically fit to your floor.

So they usually bunch up a little bit.

They don't fit great.

Then there are going to be options like this that are more molded specifically for your

jeep.

This one does have some high sides on at least three sides of it to catch and hold some debris.

And then there are going to be those premium floor mats on the market that are designed

to fit exactly into the contours of the floor of your jeep.

They have a nice, high side all the way around to catch and hold debris.

And those are going to be some of the best made floor mats that you can get.

Now, in my personal opinion, floor mats, in general, are something that are going to be

overpriced, especially those premium floor mats.

You can be paying over $100 for a pair of floor mats, and they're just something that

you step on.

Now, on the flip side of that, I understand that a lot of you guys are using your jeeps

off road, like I do personally, and you want to be able to have something that's going

to keep all of that mess from the trails in the floor mat.

You can pull the floor mat out, easily hose it off, pop it back in again.

It just helps you to more easily keep your interior clean.

So, if you are interested in keeping your interior clean, a set of floor mats is a great

option.

But if you wanna stay out of that premium price range, you don't have a need for those

premium features, this is going to be an excellent option.

These are so incredibly well made.

They still have a nice, high side on them.

They have these chevrons built right into them, which is going to help to trap some

of that junk on the floor mat.

Keep it from rolling off.

But these are going to be a little bit more moderately priced than those premium options.

These floor mats are made of a high-quality thermoplastic, so they are going to be a little

bit flexible.

They're also gonna hold up very, very well.

They do have a nice high side on at least three sides of the floor mat.

Like I said before, you're getting in and out of the vehicle, you have rain, snow, mud,

whatever might be on your shoes or boots, this is going to hold all of that mess in

place.

And these nice, big, deep chevrons in here are also designed to hold any of that mess,

and also give you a little bit of grip so your feet aren't sliding around on the mat.

These are going to have some rubber nibs on the bottom of them to help keep the floor

mats from sliding around on the carpet itself.

That's gonna give the floor mat some teeth, so it's really gonna hold.

And these also have a couple of holes in them so that they'll lock right into that factory

carpet and keep from sliding around as well.

For those of you that have had a cheaper floor mat that doesn't have any sort of retention,

you'll know that it only takes a couple of times getting in and out of the vehicle, before

that floor mat is bunched up, either under the seat, or more commonly, under the pedals.

Which, of course, is very, very annoying, but can also be dangerous.

So having this retention is something I really like.

So, as you all know, this is a floor mat.

It installs very easily.

Definitely a one out of three wrench install, less than five minutes.

You pretty much just throw these into place.

The only thing that you're going to have to do is get these locked into those factory

retention points, in the factory carpet.

But these already have punch-outs for it, so even that is a very simple process.

A pair of these mats is gonna run you right around $55, which like I said before, I do

think is gonna be a pretty good price when it comes to floor mats.

In general, floor mats are going to be pretty expensive.

You can get those premium, top-of-the-line ones that are going to be more expensive than

these are.

I think these are much more moderately-priced, but you're still going to get a lot of the

features that I like, versus one of those universal fit ones that you can buy at your

local auto-part store.

So, I do think that this is a really nice balance of quality and features, and price.

So, if you're looking for a quality floor mat for your '07 to '13 JK, I definitely recommend

these ones from Rugged Ridge, and you can find them right here at extremeterrain.com.
