Imagine that you're somewhere really really warm. Let's say Greece. Summer in
Greece. You're by the beach, wearing your bikini, drinking your cocktail. You're listening to the waves of the sea and
feeling the warmth of the sun in your face. Well I am not there but today we are
going to talk about vitamin D.
Hi guys my name is Christina I'm a nutritional
therapist and in this video as mentioned before we're talking about vitamin D. But
before we do, I would like to say a big thank you to you, because most of my
videos are inspired by your requests and this is one of your requests. The very
first thing you need to know about vitamin D is that it is more of a
hormone rather than a vitamin. 90% of vitamin D we get from exposure to the
sun, and 10% from various food such as mushrooms, such as fatty fish like
salmon or mackerel and then our body converts it into
hormone called active vitamin D. Vitamin D has obviously a lot of benefits for our
body. It helps with better absorption of calcium from our bones to keep them
strong, it strengthens our immune system it has anti-cancer effects, it also helps
us with seasonal depression and additionally it helps with brain health.
So deficiency of vitamin D has obviously the opposite effect, so you're more prone
to illness as well as bone and brain related issues. You're also more prone to
seasonal depression, so make sure that you get your vitamin D as much as you
can even if you're not in a place where you can get it every day, when you do get
it try and get it as much as you can. It is recommended that you get at least 10
minutes of sunlight per day, which will help you with seasonal depression and
all of this issues mentioned before. If you get a chance to be exposed for
more than 10 minutes then do so. Our bodies are good at storing the
additional sunlight the additional vitamin D and then use it when needed.
Foods that contain vitamin D are salmon, mackerel, tuna, if you can get a good
quality of beef liver and cod liver, then do so, eggs are also really great source
of vitamin D, as well as raw milk. You can also get vitamin D from supplements, just
make sure that the vitamins that you buy are multi vitamin D and contain vitamin
D3 which is the one that we get from sunlight. Thank you guys for tuning in

I want to talk about the episodes that I experienced while escaping from North Korea today.
I was the first episode that I experienced while escaping from North Korea and after arrived in China.
The first day I arrived in China, I went to my broker 's house.
I was in the North Korea until a few hours ago ... I could not believe I am in China now.
I felt like everything was a dream.
I was too nervous until I arrived at the broker's house. I arrived home and wanted to go to the bathroom.
I asked the broker, 'Where is the bathroom?'
He pointed to the door.
I opened the bathroom door and went in.
The Chinese toilet was a little different from the toilet in Korea.
I knew I had to urinate here.
It is my first time ever in my life.
I did not know how to use it.
Also I did not know how to turn off the water.
Because I have never used it before.
I was in North Korea until yesterday. So I felt like I was in the future.
I thought I could not go out like this.
I was worried about how to solve it.
I was in the bathroom for 30 minutes.
I started to touch everything in the bathroom.
I remember that Chinese toilet has a different structure than toilet in South Korea.
It was also the first time that I felt strange.
I pressed everything for 30 minutes. Then the water went down. But I do not remember what I pressed.
I was too nervous.
I seemed to have made a big mistake.
Because, this is the house of another person, not North Korea, but China.
And I did not know how to use the bathroom, I started sweating.
The broker would also have thought that I would know how to use the bathroom.
It would have been strange to tell you how to use the restroom. But he did not tell anything.
This is the first episode I've had in China.
I want to talk more about the bathroom story.
In North Korea, almost 100% use the restroom outside the house. Old people probably used it that way.
In North Korea, you have to walk a few minutes to go to the restroom.
I did not like to go to the bathroom when I was in North Korea.
Especially at night, I was scared to go to the bathroom. At night I was afraid that a tiger would come out and a ghost would come out.
There is a reason to have a toilet outside in North Korea.
In North Korea, the fertilizer used for farming is expensive.
North Korea has something to do in winter. Everyone is assigned compost.
We have to give a few hundred kilograms for each house.
My family is four. Each person is given a quota to pay. But the bathroom is one.
So I stole the shit at night.
I could not bring the compost anymore.
So I had to steal someone else's toilet with my brother.
I even unexpectedly told the story I was stealing. lol
Our toilet were also stolen a lot.
Anyway, I had an episode because of the toilet in China.
I talked about the episode that I experienced while escaping.
And I talked about the toilet culture of North Korea.

I basically started my braces around 2014
For people who has watched this Kawaii Pateen channel for long,
has seen my videos before knows me before I did the braces
Before doing the braces, my teeth looked terrible
Not that I worried how it looked, but more like I liked braces from the start
When the new year starts in school,
in the classes next door, or even in my own class
I would look for girls with braces
When I found one, I would stalk that person
I would befriend that person and go brush teeth during breaks together.
Maybe you would think that as strange
but I really loved people with braces that much
I was stalking all the time
In 2014, I wanted to do myself
If I do it myself, I can touch it every day
and can watch the mirror every day and thought this is the answer
and started the braces
They were braces which you can change the rubber band into colorful ones
It's probably based on normal braces
It's just having the rubber band rapped over.
I think it can be done in normal dentists
If you really want to do it, you should consult your dentist
In my dentist, they had colorful rubber bands, but I wanted even more colorful ones
So I went to Amazon USA, bought, imported and brought it to the dentist
It was a kind dentist so they said Ok and had the rubber bands changed every month
I continued it for 3 or 4 years
At the end of last year, I had it all removed
Now I have nothing on it, just my normal teeth
But when I took it off, I felt lonely.
If I could, I want it on forever.
but if I have it on, the tooth brushing is quite an hassle.
Since it's difficult to brush my teeth, there is a risk of cavities,
so now I have it off, with the shape of my teeth scaled,
and now I have my very own detachable braces made at my dentist
I have a couple of them which I have shown on Twitter
Right now I have the newest transparent version made at the dentist
When that is done, I want to appear on Kawaii Pateen with it.

but I have this obsession of worrying about having white gaps in my teeth
so I asked my dentist if I can have color between the teeth
The dentist right now is a person who will try out anything for me
I was able to have original design on my back teeth
I have a picture so check it out

I have a smile picture inside the flower
Probably having my own character attached to my teeth is first in Japan
Probably not so many in the world.
It seems to be rare
I am thinking of adding to both my back teeth
When they are in, I will report on Twitter or Instagram

The tooth itself is ceramic
My original tooth was very small
It used to be a cavity, and to fix that it was covered in ceramic
and over that the print was done, and over that usually it is covered in white ceramic
