Waching daily Mar 29 2018

Hello and welcome back to My Channel. In

this video I am gonna test how many

continuous hits from the turret can

saber withstand. Like always I will first

test it when saber is on level 1. I will

test the damage from the inhibitor

turret as by the time I reach level 15

the exterior turrets may not hold. Here

we go for the first test 1 2 3 4 Saber

can withstand four hits went on level 1

now let us test it on level Fifteen 1 2 3

4 5 on level 15 saber can sustain 5 hits

from the turret. As you saw Lolita hit

saber, but the damage was negligible so 5

hits is the final result. Thank You for

watching this video please leave a

thumbs up if you liked the video

subscribe for future contents, for

suggestions please contact me on the

links provided in the description.

I shall take my leave now until next

time and remember to stay SLOTHY and

SLEEPY every day

What is 5G? | CNBC Explains - Duration: 5:14.

That is 4G - the mobile network that's used around the world

to make calls, send messages and surf the web.

Now there are plans for 4G to be replaced by, you guessed it,

5G - a new, faster network that has the potential to transform the internet.

5G is a software defined network - it means that while it won't replace cables entirely

it could replace the need for them by largely operating on the cloud instead.

This means it will have a 100x better capacity than 4G -

which will dramatically improve internet speeds.

For example, to download a two-hour film on 3G would take about 26 hours,

on 4G you'd be waiting 6 minutes,

and on 5G you'll be ready to watch your film

in just over three and a half seconds.

But it's not just internet capacity that will be upgraded.

Response times will also be much faster.

The 4G network responds to our commands in just under 50 milliseconds.

With 5G it will take around one millisecond -

400 times faster than a blink of the eye.

Smartphone users will enjoy a more streamlined experience

but for a world that is increasingly dependant on the internet just to function,

a reduction in time delay is critical.

Self-driving cars, for example, require a continuous stream of data.

The quicker that information is delivered to autonomous vehicles,

the better and safer, they can run.

For many analysts this is just one example of how 5G

could become the connective tissue for the internet of things,

an industry that's set to grow threefold by 2025,

linking and controlling not just robots, but also

medical devices, industrial equipment and agriculture machinery.

5G will also provide a much more personalized web experience

using a technique called network slicing.

It's a way of creating separate wireless networks on the cloud,

allowing users to create their own bespoke network.

For instance, an online gamer needs faster response times and greater data capacity

than a user that just wants to check their social media.

Being able to personalize the internet will also benefit businesses.

At big events like Mobile World Congress for example - there is a mass influx of people

in one particular area using data-heavy applications.

But with 5G, organizers could pay for an increased slice of the network,

boosting its internet capacity and thus improving its visitors' online experience.

So when can we start using 5G?

Well, not yet and according to some analysts not until 2020.

5G was created years ago and has been talked up ever since.

Yet it's estimated that even by 2025, the network will still lag behind

both 4G and 3G in terms of global mobile connections.

Its mainstream existence faces multiple hurdles.

The most significant of these of course is cost.

According to some experts, 5G could cause network operators

to tear up their current business models for it to make business sense.

In the U.K. for example, 3G and 4G networks were relatively cheap to set up

because they were able to roll out on existing frequencies, on the country's radio spectrum.

For 5G to work properly however, it needs a frequency with much bigger bandwidth

which would require brand new infrastructure.

Some analysts believe that the extensive building and running costs will force

operators to share the use and management of the mobile network.

This has been less of an obstacle for countries like China,

who are taking a more coherent approach.

The government, operators and local companies such as Huawei

and ZTE

are about to launch big 5G trials that would put them at the forefront

of equipment production for the new technology.

That may be at the expense of the West,

where there is concern regarding Asia's 5G progress.

A leaked memo from the National Security Council to the White House

called for a nationalized 5G network

to keep the U.S. ahead of their global competitors.

White House officials dismissed the idea, but some experts predict that by 2025

nearly half of all mobile connections in the U.S. will be 5G,

a greater percentage than any other country or region.

It's still likely however that much of the West will have a more gradual approach to 5G,

driven by competition but with a patchy style of development.

For example, AT&T pledged to start rolling out 5G later this year

but in just a handful of cities.

For key industrial zones however, it's predicted the technology will be adopted quickly,

while for many in rural areas 5G may be a long way off.

But when 5G does establish itself and fulfills its supposed potential,

it could even change how we get the internet at home and at work -

with the wireless network replacing the current system of phone lines and cables.

It may not happen overnight, but 5G is coming.

How to create a good video on YouTube - Duration: 4:40.

Hi guys.

My name is Alex.

Welcome to my channel!

We're going to talk about how to shoot a really pleasant and good looking YouTube video.

I have been filming tutorial videos for about 4 years so I hope that I can help you with

my best advice.

Let's start with the general and the most important things, and then I'll show you

how we can do it with a real example.

So guys here we go!

Number 1.

Sound The sound of your video must be as clean as

possible, without any distracting noises.

Preferably record you audio on a separate external mic, but if you don't have such

an opportunity, then you should choose a quiet room or place, where nobody will distract

you.

I believe you have something to share with your audience!

Make a short script for you video, it will help you convey all the necessary information

briefly and allow you to mix you video footage with voice over.

And then you need to record you audio separately (using additional programs) and lay it over

your video (We'll do that a bit later).

Try to use the best devices for shooting that you have.

It can even be a mobile phone, but with a more or less high-quality camera.

The main thing is try to shoot a smooth picture without shaking the camera or phone when filming.

It will be very good if you have a tripod or a selfie-stick.

It will allow you to capture the best moments.

If you have some additional equipment like a selfie-stick or tripod, you can use it to

make your image more stable using these tricks: If you have a selfie-stick or tripod you can

place it on your foot while holding to top with your hand.

This will give a stable picture and allow you to get good pan shots.

If you're using a selfie-stick to film with your phone and you want to avoid shaky cam

effect just turn your phone upside down.

Just make sure you have enabled auto rotation on your phone.

The only and most important rule is "don't make long videos!"

According to statistics, the best duration for a video is from 2 to 3 minutes.

During this time you should be able to show all necessary information.

If possible, make your videos even shorter.

If we are talking about cutting the videos from your travels, then the important thing

is to choose footage for your video.

So you need to choose the highlights from all of your videos.

It can be some important, beautiful and really impressive places of our planet, which must

be shared!

You can use a trick that can make any video look "juicy".

Even if your camera quality doesn't allow you to create a really vivid picture, color

correction can help us with that.

It will emphasize what your camera device couldn't.

At the end of this video I'll show you how to apply good color correction just in a few

clicks.

And the last one guys.

Background Music Sometimes it's very useful to add some music

in the video background.

It should not drown out your voice, but it will add some rhythm and completeness to your

video.

You can find good and free music in the YouTube Music Library (you can choose something upbeat,

suitable for the mood and theme of your video).

And now let's try to combine all these tips and make something cool!

I'll show you a quick example how you can make a pretty good video with only Vegas Pro

15 in your hands (this program is fairly easy to use and will cover all our needs).

When you have recorded all the videos, you can create a new project.

Next you need to select video highlights, cut them and place the way you like.

If you have an external mic, then you can record sound without video and place it on

a separate track as you need.

Color Correction - you need to select Vegas LUT Filter plug-in, just select a nice LUT

file and apply it.

(You can find many LUT filters on the Internet or in the video description)

Well, at the end, let's get some quiet music on the background.

And now just render the video.

Good luck to you guys!

Good buy!

Seeing It Through - A Pyre Speedrun Analysis - Duration: 4:27.

Pyre is a game with an incredibly rich narrative.

From it's world, which is simultaneously vibrant and desolate, to It's varied soundtrack which

manages to perfectly display the complexity of the characters cast out in it's downtrodden

world.

It uses the story of criminals, unfairly punished for crimes such as literacy or "vagrancy.."

to comment on topics such as censorship, due process , and conscription during war.

Personally, One particular theme stands out, however.

Not due to controversy or relevancy in a modern setting, but due to its relevance to speedrunning.

An idea that is repeated throughout the game, is that "it matters not, which path you

take, only that you see it through to the end."

And while this philosophy is highly prevalent throughout the entirety of the game, being

repeated several times by both the game itself, and by members of your party, it, oddly enough,

applies very aptly to the speedrun of the game as well.

The idea that the journey is more important than the destination is one that is universal

in speedrunning.

The goal isn't simply to win.

It's to win as quickly as possible.

Whether through extensive optimization, meticulous pathing, or through simple raw skill, what

matters is that the runner reaches the end of the game in the lowest amount of time possible,

Regardless of the method.

But what does this have to do with the speedrun of pyre specifically?

The game has several mechanics which reflect it's philosophy.. no matter how often you

lose.

No matter what decisions you make.

No matter how poorly you play, it is impossible to "Lose" in Pyre...

There is no "Game Over" screen.

Losing a match just means that you'll have to try harder next time, and that you'll have

to learn from the loss as well.

Initially these mechanics seem wholly unimportant for a perspective runner.

Why would not being able to fail matter, when it's such an impossibility?

When You are so knowledgeable, so skilled that it's unlikely even a small mistake

could occur, and the idea of losing entirely is downright absurd?

Because what if losing was faster?

Shortly after release, a higher difficulty rating was added to the game.

"True Nightwing Mode" in this Mode, opponents are more intelligent and stronger.

Additionally, you gain the ability to activate "Titan stars" immediately at the beginning

of the game, rather than slowly over time.

These stars, when activated, change certain aspects of the game.

Reducing the health of your Pyre, making opponents faster and smarter, and just generally making

the game more difficult.

Again these mechanics, and even true nightwing mode as a whole were generally ignored by

the speedrunning community.

There's no way that making the opponent stronger and more capable could possibly reduce the

time it would take to finish a match, right?

Correct!

If the goal is to win.

However it isn't.

The only goal.

The only end that is needed, is to finish the game in the lowest time.

And for that, losing is faster.

These stars, combined with mechanics based on the very core philosophies of the game,

create strategies impossible under any other circumstances and in almost any other game.

Rather than attempting to win as quickly as possible, running directly into the enemy's

pyre over, and over and Over, until finally the match is finished, the game changes completely.

Now it's a question of losing as quickly as possible.

Baiting an opponent into your pyre, and Sometimes even eliminating your own players in order

to convince the opponent that it's safe to go for the goal.

Once they do the process only needs to be repeated once or twice more.

Due to the influence of the stars, your opponents are so strong, and you so weak, that it is

over quite quickly.

Because the opponents only need to score a few times, versus the 5 or more times needed

to win conventionally, a perfectly optimal "losing" run will always be faster than a

perfectly optimal undefeated run.

Pyre, both the game and it's speedrun, show that human beings are at their best when adversity

is at its highest, and that victory is far less important than success.

Especially when you're aiming for some nice low times.

Bank Of America Gets Caught Again: And Again No One Goes To Jail - Duration: 8:06.

Three former Bank of America executives have been awarded 83 million dollars by the SEC

for exposing fraud within the bank.

As a result, the Bank of America is ordered to pay 430 million dollars to the government.

While that may seem like a heavy penalty, it's not.

The fact that Bank of America made 17 billion dollars in profits that same year, and it

has some people wondering if Bank of America's financial penalty was really just a payment

to stay out of jail.

Joining me to talk about this is RT correspondent, Trinity Chavez.

Trinity, are these whistleblower cases against Wall Street really affecting any kind of meaningful

change when all they have to do is pay money?

What's your take on that?

Well, people are realizing the potential benefits of reporting wrongdoing in the Security Exchange

Commission, and the CFTC, which is the Commodity Futures Tradings Commission's whistleblower

program, it's sort of been a quiet sister of the SEC; but it's crucial that the exchange

commission maintains confidence in the US stock market.

This is absolutely critical to having a strong functioning US economy.

If there is doubt that there is transparency, that there's not transparency into the workings

of the US companies, and if there's uncertainty that investors are actually getting accurate

information about corporate profitability, the stock market would be vulnerable to sit

in shifts as hidden information comes out.

The Security Exchange Commission increases transparency and the trust in the stock market,

and that's why it's the most sophisticated and popular stock market in the world.

The transparency attracts much more business to US financial institutions, and it makes

it easier for companies to offer initial public offering.

Trinity, at this point, we know that we really can't believe even what we read in the financial

data.

We saw it in 2008, what was it?

24 hours before Shearson Lehman went out of business.

They were telling their brokers in the field, 'Hey, continue selling this.'

The brokers couldn't even find out what the truth was.

We have this naïve notion that everything's going to be okay at the highest level, that

people really aren't going to lie to us at the highest level.

So we saw 2008 was an example of we just can't take that attitude anymore, because they lie

at the very highest level.

Shearson Lehman is the greatest example I can give you.

Everybody at the very top kept all of their money, and everyone at the bottom to middle

level lost all their money because of the big lie.

It's a system that's already corrupt.

I'm wondering why is the SEC offering such an amount of money to Wall Street whistle

blowers when no doubt they were part of it in the long run.

Is it really the best way to go about shining the light on corruption?

Or, isn't it best just to throw some of these thugs in prison?

What's your take?

Well, this is a way for Securities and Exchange Commission to regulate the stock market and

to protect investors.

To do this, they have to incentivize whistle blowers to expose security fraud by offering

what they call a 'bounty' worth between 10 and 30%.

I mean could you imagine if you got 10% for blowing the whistle on Maddoff's 50 billion

dollar Ponzi scheme?

The payoff for that would be huge.

As you can imagine, monetary incentives, especially of this magnitude when you're dealing with

millions and billions of dollars, it can encourage unreliable tips.

According to the Security Exchange, since the implementing the bounty program, they

have seen more than 14,000 tips.

Last year alone, the Commission received over 4200.

This surge could represent an increase of awareness of the whistleblower program and

the growing acceptance of the role.

But, while the number of whistle blowing reports continue to rise, the quality of the tips

still have to be assessed to see if they will ultimately detect fraud; which requires time.

I'm very familiar with whistleblower cases.

We handle them all over the country.

Anybody that is actually familiar with this process will tell you there's two steps that

have to take place.

First of all as the whistleblower case, you have to expose the fraud; but then the most

important thing is not just getting the money collected, it is throwing people in prison

who participate.

That was the whole purpose of whistle blowing to begin with.

It's where Abraham Lincoln came up with these laws that said during the Civil War, you had

profiteers that were selling absolute garbage to soldiers.

I mean guns that wouldn't shoot, shoes that would fall apart after the 24 hours.

He didn't just take money from the corporations doing that.

He was throwing people in jail.

That was the whole purpose of whistle blowing to begin with.

It's a two part series.

We're missing the second part: nobody goes to jail.

What exactly was the scheme that Bank of America pulled off here?

How much profit did they rake in by doing it?

Well, Bank of America Merrill Lynch was systematically misleading clients about stock trades.

The bank was apparently involved in a fraudulent masking scheme designed to mislead clients

about who was responsible for executing in-house orders.

Between 2009 and 2015, the bank told its customers that it was executing trade orders themselves,

when they were actually routing them to electronic liquidity providers.

This scheme affected more 16 million client orders.

Merrill Lynch admitted to wrongdoing in the 415 million dollar settlement and misusing

customer cash by holding up to 58 billion dollars a day in a clearing account, when

it should have been held in a reserve.

In this case, the Security Exchange Commission awarded the whistle blowers that were tied

to the settlement, a staggering 83 million dollars.

Two of them got 50 million, and the third one got 33 million.

Well again, that's a good start, Trinity.

I know you cover these stories a lot and you probably see it a lot.

You see where yeah, the regulators come in and they take some money from the company.

The money is just cost of doing business.

I mean these are companies, to pay out even a billion dollars, doesn't mean anything to

them if they're making 20 billion dollars a year.

It just doesn't mean anything.

The second part of the whistleblower schematic needs to be people need to go to prison.

That's the way it was initially designed, to tell you the truth.

Is it strange to you that the Bank of America ran with this fraud within the first year

after they received 20 billion dollars in taxpayer bailout money from the government?

I mean taxpayers came out of their pocket, paid them 20 billion dollars.

Doesn't that seem to say to them that the government's going to reward you no matter

what you do?

Isn't that kind of the message there?

Well, let's take a look at the facts.

B of A Merrill Lynch received that 20 billion dollar bailout that you're talking about in

January 2009.

That was after it already received 25 billion dollars from TARP.

Soon after that is when the banks started with their masking scheme.

I wouldn't necessarily say that the bank is sort of being rewarded, but the government,

... by the government.

But, the numbers and the timeline, they do raise some suspicious questions, Mike.

Yeah.

Well you know, the truth is, Trinity, if you take a look and you really look closely beyond

what tax payers had to pay out to make all this happen, to make ... to give these bankers

a free pass from stealing more than a trillion dollars from the American economy.

Some people say it's as high as eight trillion dollars, depending on who you're talking to.

The impact that they had on the American economy and the world economy was substantial.

None of them, again, nobody went to jail.

Taxpayers pay out money to keep them out, so they can keep their profits.

The same people who made those decisions are still in leadership with all of these banks

right now.

It's a problem that I think, until we get somebody in there, and until we get an Attorney

General, hopefully ... I don't think we can expect this from Jeff Sessions, but hopefully

somewhere, we'll have an Attorney General that says, 'You know what?

Democracy requires that we treat everybody alike, whether they're on Wall Street or whether

they're on Main Street.'

Trinity, thanks for joining me.

Is WALL-E The Villain? Pixar Fan Theory - Duration: 1:53.

Pixar would like you to believe that Wall-E is just a cute

little robot trying to keep the Earth clean, but what if he

is actually something far more

sinister?

Is it possible that Pixar's friendly janitor is actually one

of its greatest villains?

Many people see Wall-E as a classic Messiah figure, a

savior who

sacrifices himself for the good of mankind.

What if there's a more sinister

reality to everyone's favorite yellow robot?

Reddit user vixx Elias believes

that Wall-e isn't telling the story of mankind's rise but of

its fall and that

the movie is actually a retelling of the book of Genesis.

In Genesis, Adam and Eve

live in the Garden of Eden, an earthly paradise where

they have no problems or

suffering and all of their needs are taken care of.

Their lives are perfect...

until a serpent gives Eve forbidden fruit from the Tree of

Knowledge and God

casts them out into the world to suffer.

In Wall-E, Eden is the Axiom-- the

spaceship where all of humanity lives after ruining the

Earth. It's not just

that all of their basic needs are taken care of, like food

and shelter but

there's no conflict, no fighting, and no war. All of the

problems that plagued

them on Earth have been left behind...

Until Wall-E shows up. After he gives Eve the seedling,

she returns it to the

spaceship where the captain studies it. He gains

knowledge about Earth. This is the

forbidden fruit. Once humans gain knowledge, they lose

paradise and are

forced to return to Earth, which is a toxic, garbage-

strewn wasteland where

only the cockroaches can survive. Okay, so, if Wall-E

caused man's downfall after

giving Eve the forbidden fruit, then he isn't the Savior...

He is the serpent.

What do you think?
