Guys where's James where's the Hacksmith?

Gonna be late

Made it!

Hey guys

So you might be wondering what am I even doing in Florida?

Well Full Sail University

Invited me down for another series of hacker labs and this time they're actually doing something Batman themed and as you know Batman's one of my favorite heroes,

and I've done quite a few projects and a group of students here well

They're working on something a really cool: Batman's cowl, and it's actually going to help you with Batman detective abilities. Let's take a look

Relax everybody I'm here, Batman

Hey guys, my name is Shae and welcome back to another HackerLabs!

This time, we're back with everybody's favorite superhero: Batman!

And we're making Batman's cowl everybody might know Batman's cowl as his mask and his helmet

But it's so much more than that

We're all here today because we want to get creative and make

Batmans Cowl, more gizmos and gadgets

Were added so the newer ones is the one that we're modeling ours after. It's as authentic as possible is going to be so

imperative with this one.

We gotta be ready to field test with the Hacksmith

Oh, yeah, that's right the Hacksmith is coming back! Hacksmith is coming

All right

So we have our UI team working on some things and the fab team working on some things

But they seem confident that they're gonna be able to get everything done.

Well they have to do it right cuz I mean the Hacksmith is coming so soon and I want to be able to show him

Something be like hey James look at this cool thing we worked on!

Hey

How's it going? Good

Batman's is one of my favorites

So I'm very curious to see what you guys come up with

Fit everything that we want into it

I want to make sure we focus on making what we can really good

All right so we just wrapped day one of filming and it's a pretty cool project guys are working on this time

They're actually making a Batman cowl with a integrated hololens so it can actually do facial recognition

Instant translation and a whole bunch of other stuff you can basically

Look in a room of people, and it'll actually face scan everyone

If they're in a criminal database or something,

It'll pop up their name and their stats so you can literally look at a crowd and be like oh, that's the bad guy

I'm pretty excited to see how this turns out and I think the team's gonna be able to finish it in the next two days

Which they have to because that's when filming wraps, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Alright, so just like last time you guys are gonna have to head to the Full Sail University

YouTube page to see how this project turns out make sure you subscribe with notifications turned on because there's more to come

Forged rose, metal, by March 8 - Duration: 10:30.

Hello.

Today we are doing the final video, wrought-iron assembly.

In the past, the video did elements of hot forging,

petals, stem, buds.

Formed the rest part, in the shape of a bowl, and made

third tier.

Struck on the edges of the texture, and made the lower cross,

also with the invoice.

After heating, much it is easier to form bowls,

metal becomes soft.

Now I'm doing the assembly of the rose.

I'll tell you the sequence, then I will show the process

assembly.

I put on the stem a nut, I weld, protect, I put on

all the elements, through the hole, and riveted.

Then, at the base of the bud, welding, rapid movements

, I put drops, imitation dew.

Then I weld spikes, I sharpen them, and weld the petals,

I bend at the right angle.

It is better to draw, as will go branches with petals, this

creates the visibility of the whole roses. In the past,

how I punched the invoice on buds. I

used stainless grid, when the metal is hot,

on it an invoice is printed, it turns out like a shallow

pattern. Warm up

I'll be a burner. She is

works from the compressor, who will be interested, link

will leave

in description. Now

proceed to assemble the roses. Graduated

forged rose, when you do not do it for a long time

a rose, forget the sequence actions. Thorns,

invoice, and

here drops from welding. Without

camera droplets prominent clearly. I

slightly applied patina to show the invoice. Longitudinal

from the groove mesh. it

itself rosebud. To

it was interesting, we subscribe on the channel, click on the bell.

Everyone

till.

What Is Capital Raising And The Different Types Of Startup Capital - Duration: 6:35.

Hi, I'm Bradley Birchall in this video, I'm going to cover what is capital raising and

the different types of start-up capital

So first up what is capital raising, capital raising is

your need to raise capital to grow your business

Basically what this means is that you were going to reach a point where you can continue on your way?

Using limited funds to grow your business

Which in terms that are recognized in the investment community

Usually means that you're going to be capital constrained in growing your business in other words

You will only have so much revenue that you can spend on things like

Sales, Marketing and Product Development

so we consider this to be

capital constrained which leads to

organic growth now or Organic growth means

You know you might be moving along picking up two or three new customers a month

And you just might be doing that consistently every month

But if you had capital in your company to grow more quickly you might be increasing your

Sales and the number of uses of your solution by anything up to 30% a month

Wouldn't that be a heck of a lot better than actually getting growth of two or three customers a month

so that's why you need to raise capital so that you can have a

faster path to growth

Now the other reason why you might need to raise capital is you might be in an industry or a sector

Where you have competition that is rapidly coming up from behind you

You don't want to be overtaken by your competition

Which means you need to grow quicker than your competition and to do that you need capital?

So organic growth is probably going to see you wiped out by your competition

You actually need capital to grow quickly so that is probably

The second most common reason why you need to do a capital race?

so

moving on to the third

item which is basically

What are the different types of capital so the different types of capital, so let's look at the first type which is?

Bootstrapping, which is you

funding your own start

Which means you've probably put in

$10,000 and $20,000 of your own money it might be $50,000 or $100,000 of your own money

But that's what bootstrapping is the longer you can bootstrap your company the better off

you're going to be because you're going to be in a stronger position to

raise capital

So the next is the three F's

Family, Friends and Fools as we call it in the industry

So that's usually where after you've bootstrapped it yourself

You're probably going to go to these people and you might ask them for a bit of money to put into your business

the third is

Angel Investors

So you might need to raise fifty thousand might only be twenty thousand it might be up to

$200,000

but that's sort of range from about $20,000 to $150,000 is the angel investor range and

That is the third most common and the third in sequence usually that you're going to go for

to raise capital

So the fourth is

Private Equity, now private equity can come from

Primarily two different sources one is high net worth individuals. These are wealthy individuals

that have over two million dollars in assets and

the

Second out of the private equity basket

Basically family offices, so family offices are

Families usually that have made

hundreds of millions of dollars in their own sector or in their own industry and they run a

professional company under their family office that basically invests all of the wealth that they've made in

new ventures often startups

So the fifth source of capital racing for startups is

Venture capital now. I'm not going to talk too much about venture capital

But suffice to say it's it's it's not an approach that I like nor many people do like

because with venture capital it's more than likely

that you are not going to meet your targets at some point and that VC firm is

Going to take a considerable amount of equity away from your company for you. Not meeting those targets

Which is one of the reasons why we also call it Vulture Capital so I wouldn't recommend venture capital

and I would definitely stick to

private equity through either family offices or high net worths

DIY Faux Fur Stool or End Table | withwendy - Duration: 3:35.

Hey everyone it's Wendy from the DIY YouTube channel withwendy and today I'm

going to be showing you how to take some faux fur and transform a simple little

plain wooden stool into an amazing faux fur home accent. Let's get started.

To do this we're just gonna need a couple of materials, I have here some

faux fur that I picked out. Then I have some two-inch upholstery foam, some tape

and also an utility knife.

The first thing we'll do is measure the entire top

of the stool from the center to this far leg. It was a radius of 21.25

centimeters. With that measurement as a guide I did cut out part of a circle

that has a radius of 21.25 centimeters I used my guide to trace out an entire

circle from the foam and now we're gonna cut it out with an exacto knife.

Okay that gets

us one foam circle that sits on top of the stool now we also need to cut out a

whole circle, same size from the faux fur.

When you're cutting faux fur you're just

gonna want to cut through the back layer only if you cut through the entire thing

straight with prayer scissors it will cause a huge mess.

Now we have a whole

circle of faux fur. Got our circle of foam and also I've cut out a whole band of

faux fur this tall

We're gonna attach the circle of faux fur to this full ring

of faux fur to make it turn into a tube and you can do that using glue but I'm

gonna do it with a sewing machine just to make sure it all stays put

This is the circle of the faux fur and then the tube has been sewn all the way around if

you're gluing or sewing just put them right sides together here

And then you'll also have to seal them off one of the edges to close off the entire loop.

We're now ready to flip this inside out

It's so fuzzy!

Alright let's bring

over the stool and see how it all goes together

I'm going to tape the foam to

the top because I don't want to cause any permanent change to the stool yet.

Okay. And we'll throw this guy up on there.

You may notice it sticks out on all the sides but that's to help it be a bit more flush

with the legs and now I'm gonna try to put this tube that we've created onto

this guy

And there you go

It's done!

You can fill it out if you

want it to be a bit more firm on all sides but as far as a sitting piece this

is ready to go

And voila here is our finished faux fur stool it's

good for sitting and actually also cute as an end table really depends on the

fur that you choose but since mine has this sleek brush you can definitely use

it as an end table if you throw in a couple of coasters if you don't want to

miss any future DIYs don't forget to subscribe to CBC Life I have an

entire series with them as well as my YouTube channel withwendy where you can

get a lot more sewing DIYs

Thank you all so much for watching and we'll see you

next time
