The Most Disappointing Games Ever Crowdfunded - Duration: 4:57.

Thanks to the success of titles like Broken Age and Shovel Knight, crowdfunding video

game development is now a viable option for independent studios.

Even still, it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch.

And in the world of crowdfunded games, there have been a lot of bad apples.

For example …

Mighty No. 9

Released in 2016, Mighty No. 9 — a spiritual successor to the famous Mega Man series — was

one of the highest profile Kickstarted video games in history.

Unfortunately, it's also one of the most disappointing.

"What!?

Poppycock!"

The original Mega Man and Mega Man X games are considered master-classes in gameplay

and level design.

Simply put, Mighty No. 9 is not.

Even worse, the old Mega Man franchise had beautiful graphics for the time, particularly

in the "X" series.

Mighty No. 9 is just plain ugly, with horrendous voice acting and uninspired cut-scenes, despite

amassing almost $4 million dollars in pledges from disappointed gamers.

"The fate of the entire country hangs in the balance!"

Takedown: Red Sabre

In March 2012, game designer Christian Allen launched his Kickstarter for Takedown: Red

Sabre, which he pitched as "a spiritual successor to the original Rainbow Six and SWAT 4."

He only raised 35 percent of his goal, however, before he re-launched his campaign with an

aggressive last push to make the game a reality — which attracted a former Call of Duty

Creative Strategist to both back and promote the project on Twitter.

In its final hours, the project met its goal.

505 Games stepped in to publish the project, and it debuted worldwide for Windows in September

2013.

The reviews were harsh.

GameSpot, for example, called it "tactical trash," writing:

"This is a game that should not have been released in its current state, and is certainly

not one you should waste your time and money on."

The Stomping Land

Created by developer Alex "Jig" Fundora, the Kickstarter campaign for The Stomping Land

— a "multiplayer survival game about dinosaurs" — was successfully funded shortly after

it launched in 2013, with more than 4,000 eager backers pledging more than one-hundred

thousand dollars to help bring the game to life.

Unfortunately, the game was pronounced dead when a freelance 3D modeler who was working

on the project posted a now-deleted explanation on The Stomping Land's official forums in

January 2015.

"More than a month has passed since the day when I received the last reply from Jig.

I've sent him five messages and haven't got any single reply.

"If this silence continues I will stop my participation in TSL …"

And that's exactly what he did, selling off his models to another developer to cover his

expenses.The game was temporarily available via Steam's Early Access program, but ultimately

removed.

The project now appears totally extinct, along with many backers' hopes for refunds.

If you want an entertaining caveman game today, just go play Far Cry Primal.

CLANG

In 2012, Snow Crash author Neal Stephenson set out to "revolutionize sword fighting video

games" with a crowdfunding campaign to bring CLANG to life.

Over 9,000 backers were intrigued enough by the game's promise and pledged over half-a-million

bucks.

"It takes a lot of people to make a sword game that doesn't suck."

Then came September 2013's "pause button" update, in which the CLANG team announced

that they had burned through the money already.

Anytime a crowdfunded game runs out of money, it's an all-but-guaranteed death sentence

— and CLANG's case was no different.

The project's "Final Update" came a year later, in September 2014.

Stephenson announced the project's demise:

"The prototype was technically innovative, but it wasn't very fun to play."

"…I probably focused too much on historical accuracy and not enough on making it sufficiently

fun to attract additional investment."

"I've decided that it's cleaner and simpler to cut the cord..."

Game over.

You lose.

Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians

The unsung story of Playdek's Unsung Story — "a rich, diverse Tactical RPG, envisioned

by the master of the genre Yasumi Matsuno" — isn't a particularly bright one.

With Final Fantasy Tactics' Matsuno leading the project, there was a legitimate reason

to be excited, so it's understandable that 15 thousand backers pledged a whopping 660

thousand dollars.

Unfortunately, months of silence were sporadically interrupted by unimportant updates, unimpressive

screenshots, and a disappointing gameplay video.

Then came the admission everyone was expecting — Playdek was running out of money.

Playdek bailed on the project in August 2017, passing on the rights and assets to developer

Little Orbit.

Never heard of them?

Their projects include licensed titles like Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends

and Barbie and Her Sisters: Puppy Rescue — not exactly Final Fantasy Tactics-caliber titles.

In February 2018, Little Orbit announced that production would finally begin on Unsung Story

in April, more than four years after the campaign was announced.

Only time will tell if it's worth the wait, the delays, and the disappointment.

What I Eat in a Day Vegan - Duration: 3:51.

Hey you guys, welcome back to Happy Healin' Vegan. I'm April, your vegan

transition coach and in today's video I'm going to show you exactly What I Eat in

a Day Vegan. All of these meals will be extremely easy to make so you can make

them at home as well. And I promise you you guys that there wasn't any

additional planning just because I was going to be filming this. This is exactly

what I eat in a day as a vegan. So let's get started. My first meal of the day

will be oatmeal. I add a quarter of a cup of gluten-free oats to a cup of boiling

water and give it a good stir. I'll add a ton of cinnamon, two spoonfuls of chia

seeds, some chopped dates and bananas, which I'll stir in so that the dates

will melt just a little bit, truly delicious. I'll add a green tea and

breakfast is served.

For lunch I'm stopping by the salad bar at Jimbo's but you can easily make this

at home with your choice of veggies. I'm going with greens, carrots, beets, zucchini,

and then some peas for some extra protein. I'll also add some beans, and

some olives and just a teeny bit of tofu with some vinegar and olive oil for my

dressing.

For my snack, I'm having a smoothie. I'll start with some almond milk, 2 giant

handful of greens, a banana, two tablespoons of flaxseed meal, a scoop

of chocolate protein powder, some wild blueberries. I'll blend it all together

and it's ready to drink.

It's time for my favorite meal. We found this Bonza pasta that's made

with chickpeas that has 25 grams of protein. We'll add that to the boiling

water. In the meantime, we're sauteing some of our favorite Field Roast

sausages. We'll add some tomatoes and garlic, some marinara sauce. And then

we'll drain the pasta, add the sausage to the pasta and mix it all

together. And there you have a yummy,

HUGE TRY ON HAUL || 2018 - Duration: 15:27.

Hey guys it's Brooke and welcome back to my channel. [MUSIC] My room's kind of messy

behind me so just ignore that but I have a huge haul to show you. I went shopping.

I had quite a few things I had to shop for. Let's get right on to the video and

I will show you what I got. Let's start off with H&M, H&M's actually

the last store I went to. So this, I got this t-shirt here, this is a just

literally just like a basic pink t-shirt that's the wrong side but it doesn't

even matter cuz it's the same on the front side anyway this was 2 for 10 so

basically the shirt was 5 bucks. Which I just think this would look really cute like with my

green jacket for spring like I just think like this color pink and green

looks just so cute together. and then I also got another t-shirt because 2 for

10 this was 5 bucks as well obviously that's how math works you can't really

see but this is a striped t-shirt. If it'll focus on the stripes.. but yeah there are

stripes on here and I just think they're really cute just like thin stripes

I don't know I just need like basic t-shirts and

basic things to like a put underneath

jackets and stuff. So this was for my mom I don't know if she is going to want it

She's going to try it on and then see if she likes it but I liked it if she didn't

so this was $14.99 um and all of these are basically large cuz that's just what

I wear um but yeah it's like long it's like long-sleeve and it's like also it

I think would be cute with like a pair of leggings cuz it goes down quite

a bit and it's like this red striped and I don't know I'm really into stripes

right now. yes they are horizontal so yes it does make you look bigger technically

but like I, guys, I don't really notice it. ok so moving into Sephora, basically my

mom had her birthday and she doesn't really use make up so she went with

me and picked it up and let me have it so this is actually really cute this is

a little um pucker up it's your birthday thing

it's from bite beauty and you get this little matte cream lip crayon in the

shade glaze and then you get a little little baby tiny lipstick here and

this is in chai and this is the amuse-bouche a lipstick and then you get

little lip balm so you get a lip scrub and a lip balm and this is the agave lip

balm and I'm pretty sure the oh and the agave sugar lip scrub and then at

American Eagle I only got one thing in American Eagle my mom bought some jeans

but I got this shirt from American Eagle this is $44.95 this was

actually an extra-large because it's a little bit Cropped and I didn't, I don't

want it to be cropped. um and it's not like it's super cropped like you can tell it's

like a little short so and then it has like these huge sleeves like look at

that it's literally like the size of my face it's so big but it looks really

cute and like I love the big sleeves cuz you just feel like you're being hugged

and like you feel like you just like have so much fluff and I love it so

anyway but yeah this is like super duper soft so that's from American Eagle and

then we went to pink any of these cute beautiful bags we got

this tote bag because we spent a lot of money um but this is actually really cute it's not even

a tote bag, it's like a duffle bag like this is like you could go traveling with

this um I don't know how much you had to spend to get it but this was 39.95 like

if you just wanna buy this on your own.. on its own um but yeah real cute and it

says pink on it but you can't really like tell like from far away yeah.

so quite subtle actually. We also oh my god I didn't even realize this was so soft

we also got this towel because we spent a certain amount money. um and it's

a circle and it's beautiful and this is $39.95 and then I'll show you this

stuff that I actually bought at Victoria's Secrets which is like a tiny

bag compared to the stuff I got for free but yeah so I got some underwear which I

feel weird showing you but like.... I feel like it's a little inappropriate but I also like... it's fine I'll be inappropriate it doesn't really matter.

so anyway I got these underwear these are all $10.50 but they were like on sale they

were all four dollars I believe. what is it? when they do their it's like seven

for 29 I don't know anyway um the point is it was like

one of their deals so um but I also got eight pairs underwear cuz it was my mom's

birthday and then she had the little heart thing and she really want a free

pair of underwear so she'll let me have it.

um so yeah this is this, these like pink undies just look like that you know basic got

this nice pineapple thong. Guys I love pineapples I mean come on I got a lot of

Pineapple underwear because they had a ton and they never normally like have pineapple

underwear and like I'm obsessed with pineapples I have been obsessed with

them forever but like now they're kind of like in style so I'm going with it

and like buying it while it exists so these are some other pineapple undies

whoops they're green so that's super cute these are like plain undies. I

don't know. I don't really know what this style of undies is but these are like

for me they're just plain like that's like just a pair of undies you know, I

don't know. and then we have another thong here so it says like pink on it and

it's just green, looks like that. Okay I here's the thing I'm like quite like a

modest person for the most part. It's not like I'm trying to be modest but I just

am the only thing is sometimes I'm accidentally a little inappropriate

because I got big boobs, and sometimes they just don't stay where I put them so yeah.

this makes me feel like a little scandalous like I know

oh it's so anyway I don't really know why you think you feel cos cuz I

literally own like like but this specific song just makes me

feel like Santa Lozano basically it's just like a velvety so long then the

back is like see-through like that you can't tell but it's see-through it's

like that like material is in right now I don't know but it's velvety in the

front and like it's not on the inside because like that would just be well

weird but on the outside it's filled this velvet material I love it okay so I

got them and then I also got these pineapple ones oh my god which oh you

can't tell they're pineapple because the friends like playing it in the back it's

like pineapple which is like crazy and then we got this pair of undies which

are basically just stripes and it says pink on the top and these like there are

underwear that I have and I bought them and they have like this like little pink

thing but the material is like really uncomfortable but this is like soft

material that like isn't super uncomfortable so just so you know that

is great oh yes I did okay anyway um and then these are like

these like leafy thongs I think this is about to die it is but I have a battery

charge right here so it'll be fine but this might just like kind of cut off

weird but um and then got jeez I got this a pair of these pair of a lot of a

little this pair of leggings so these are the cotton flat waist yoga leggings

first of all they have a secret pocket which like isn't huge and I don't think

you can put your phone in here but you could fit like credit cards are money in

here so it's like really cute and these are in the large as well these are these

were 36 95 and they're just like basic black leggings um they have a little

doggie on them and okay I just want to say Pink's leggings are the most

flattering comfortable leggings I've ever owned they're literally

like comfy Spanx I have this one pair but they like have words on them and I

just wanted a plain basic pair I ordered two more of these this is the last one

left in the store in my size so I ordered two more online um and then I

was also like eight dollars off from getting the tote bag so I thought two

sprays these are five dollars each this is the fresh and clean which I just

figured it's probably gonna be like basic and I got chill app um because it

had a pineapple on it and I said Aloha it was cute

I tried it's nice but I caught eyes nothing too well in the store then we

went to Hollister and at Hollister I got well I love Hollister

it really good clothes this is super soft so there's my say this was $39.95 I

of which I just think it's really cute it's like honest or it's not really

cropped but it's like shorter yeah my hair is already all over everything like

I literally just got these close my hair is already all over them and then I was

saving the best thing for last just so you know then I have this other striped

shirt because apparently I'm into stripes and this is

this was 16 and 95 but it I don't know I saw it was definitely on sale but just

looks like this has a little pocket stupid super cute basic stuff again

that's what I really needed and then I got this sure since 1995 um and this is

it's a long sleeve short short it's a little bit too cropped again um and it

has this little like thing to show off just a little bit but this looks really

cute with the last line I'm gonna talk about which is why I got it because it's

not it's something I would definitely for sure where I'll probably wear this

with anything but truthfully if it didn't look so dang good with the last

thing I telling Clemmy so no nothing and then it's like really cool item and then

this is also really soft this is another just like a basic white long sleeve

t-shirt but it's like super flowy really cute and I love it

super soft it has like this little like pattern on it which I don't know if you

can see it's like that powerful I hope you could see that this shirt was

2495 then my favorite item out of this entire haul guys I got myself a pair of

overalls okay so this is the top front and back okay now like well just like

try to like show you everything but yeah so this shirt looks super super cute

with these overalls so like I'm obsessed with it like me it's such a cute outfit

and guys I overalls are pretty in style right now but the thing is is I like

checking the oh my god I've even notice that that's like a giant pocket right

and my chest um but yeah this like super super cute

and I have been wanting a pair of overalls forever and the thing is is

like they're super comfortable and genuinely I think they look so cute I

love overalls I deleted a bunch of my social media for a lot of reasons new

Omega separate video on that but basically I deleted it but I still have

Pinterest and I love Pinterest Pinterest were my favorite things I will never

delete it so I will link my Pinterest down below if you want to follow me on

there because like guys I love Pinterest but anyway and in my style I have so

many outfits with overall is because I think they are so cute I love overall

I'm so happy they're in style because I think they're adorable

and low-key helps me live out my farmer dreams because like guys I genuinely

want to be a farmer like I'm not just saying that like I just want to have

animals like I want to get like chickens and cows and goats oh I so badly want

goats and I want pigs oh my god I just want to own a farm like I'll

probably sell like fruits and vegetables and eggs and milk but I won't

don't meat because I'm not doing that to my animals I'm not doing anything that's

gonna hurt them because like I love my house I don't even have them yeah I love

them I literally have a pin on my Pinterest it's not public but I have a

board about my farm anyway I'm so happy about these I think I have literally

been talking about this for like three minutes but basically I love these

overalls - oh happy that I got them that is everything that I got for all of this

haul this is basically a ginormous huge obnoxious hope but I am so happy with

everything I got that guy my style guys it's like up to the next level and I'm

wearing these overalls every day hey um I would love it if you guys could

pretend that I bought 20 pairs of these so I could wear them every day and not

get judged for it um so that would be great but yeah I'm just so excited all

Broken Hearted Poems

I'm so tired of writing broken hearted poems but it's what I know best

It's the only way to get off my chest All the things that caused me to not be like

the rest In my views on love

It's a sort of Release

It helps bring me peace Because I gave everyone a piece

But didn't leave any for myself to increase My resistance

I fell for their persistence Instead of allowing distance

So I can help solidify my own existence Yea he broke my heart

But fast forward to the part Of the story where that's all I can write

And even though I know he wasn't the right Person, without him the future seems less

bright I use poetry to remind myself it's alright

Because we all play the fool once, and he was no knight

In shining armor, my sight Was all messed up

Thinking somehow I wasn't good enough For you

Causing a slew Of insecurities

Wishing for herbal remedies To erase my memories

Of us Wishing for a potion to build trust

A spell to see past lust And a judge to make sure all are just

In my treatment I'm so tired of broken hearted poems but

so many know the pain on which I speak They've been to the creek

Of despair, felt weak When you said you'd always be there

Only to find you're a sneak Who never really cared

About anyone I'm done

With being broken hearted, but the mark has yet to fade

And the only reason I've stayed With this for so long

Is because I have to constantly remind myself of a time when I was wrong

So I don't put my heart into the wrong hands again.

Reverse Mortgage | When The Money Runs Out - Duration: 1:32.

hey this is Chris Trapani the mortgage Pro people always ask me a couple of

questions regarding reverse mortgages Chris can I lose my home well not as

long as you pay the taxes and insurance and upkeep of the house that is still

your responsibility but we can end the payments and you do not lose your home

god forbid anything happens to you your children if they're there your heirs

they still inherit that home it might have a little bit less equity but if

that's what it needs to happen for you to have a better retirement well so be

it so you do not lose your home your children do not lose the home they get

to sell the home refinance the home or pay it off god forbid anything should

happen to you number two when the money runs out people ask me all the time hey

Chris what if you ever Oh more than the house is worth well you're actually

paying for insurance for that so if that should happen you're not affected you

continue to leave in that home and God forbid anything happens to you again

your children have the option should we walk away because it's upside-down or

should we refinance or sell it the option will be theirs at that point in

time what do you want to happen I want you to have a great retirement this may

be the right option for you
