Waching daily Mar 8 2018

Hey! What's up, you guys? It's Connor, and today I'm going to do another book haul.

I feel like I've been doing a lot of book hauls, but that's because I've been

acquiring a lot of books and bookish things. My mother is super, super sweet,

and she said that this year I would be getting 26 presents because I turned 26

at the beginning of January. And so now she's slowly giving me items throughout

the year. First she ended up giving me Coraline by Neil Gaiman. This is

illustrated by Chris Riddell which is one of my favorite illustrators ever. I

already owned a copy of Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, but because I found out that

Chris Riddell did illustrations for a different version, I needed to have it.

Coraline follows this little girl who... I think she goes through some type of

portal into another world where it's basically the exact same as her world

but her parents are a little bit different and everyone has buttons for

eyes. And then some weird stuff starts happening. I have not watched the movie,

and I've never read this book. But I'm super excited to because I've read a

lot of Neil Gaiman books and he is one of my favorite authors. One of my

favorite authors teams up with one of my favorite illustrators? I've got to have

it, and I've got to experience this story. I will be doing a individual book review

for this when I do read it. My parents also gave me Stormwatch, Vol. 3 which is

a part of the New 52 DC Universe. Stormwatch is a Justice League-esque type team that

has been defending the Earth for a lot longer than the Justice League has. And I

really enjoy the members of Stormwatch, so I was really excited to continue

along and see what happens to this team next. I am enjoying reading about their

stories. This is what some of the artwork looks like. They also gave me a Tesla's

Attic by Neal Shusterman and Eric Elfman. This is the first book in the Accelerati

Trilogy, and it follows this boy named Nick. He moves into a new house along

with his father and his younger brother after they inherit this house, and they

end up selling everything that's in the attic. But then Nick finds out that they

need those items back because they are Tesla's last inventions and they were

put into the attic of this specific house on purpose. They all have magical

abilities I believe... or scientific abilities! This is one of the few series

by Neal Shusterman that I have not read yet, so I definitely wanted to pick it up

and get started on it because I love Neal Shusterman's writing. They also gave me Wonder

Woman Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo. This is the only novel by her that I haven't

read. I haven't read the collection of stories from the Grishaverse yet either.

This one follows a girl named Alia, I believe. Diana which is Wonder Woman is a

bit of a mentor for her, and she is going on some type of superhero journey. And I

don't really know anything about it other than that it's written by Leigh

Bardugo and I wanted to read it. I've heard some mixed things about this

mainly because they were thinking that it was gonna be more about Wonder Woman

than it is. But now that I know that it's not as much about Wonder Woman and it's

more about this other girl Alia, I think that I will really enjoy it

because the Wonder Woman movie was awesome. But I'll let you guys know what

I think when I read it. They gave me Age of Myth by Michael J. Sullivan because I

only had an arc of this book before and I wanted the finished final copy of it to

add to my Michael J. Sullivan shelf. This one is set in his Riyria

Chronicles/Riyria Revelations world, but it's set thousands of years before

those books take place. And there is some overlap, mainly that some characters in

this play some legend roles in the later books. And so if you haven't read those,

you're not gonna understand why those characters are more significant than

just regular characters. But I really enjoyed this book when I read it. I

actually did an individual book review for it, so I'll leave that linked if you

want to check it out. But yeah I'm very very happy to have this, and the last

book that my parents gave me this round is gonna be The Shadow of What Was Lost

by James Islington. I've heard so many good things about this

mainly that just people loved this book so much. It was originally self-published,

and then I think orbit? Yeah, orbit ended up picking it up and traditionally

publishing it. This one follows this main character who's a part of the Gifted, and

the Gifted were these servants to these godlike beings. But the godlike beings

were killed off, and now the Gifted are the most powerful beings, I think. But

they're also shunned because they were associated with those godlike beings

called Augurs. I'm not exactly sure everything that happens in this book cuz

I haven't heard too many people talk about this in depth, but it's pretty

chunky, and I'm really excited to dive in. I'll probably end up doing a book review

for this as well. My parents also gave me a couple of Harry Potter merchandise

items. I got Dumbledore's Cup which is

absolutely enormous. I did not think it was gonna be this big. Oh, it's

Dumbledore's Goblet. Sorry, and it has some dragon decorations

on it as well as on the bottom there. This will be going into my curio cabinet

which is right there. It will be prominently displayed, and my parents also gave me

this little teeny Felix Felicis bottle which I'm absolutely in love with. It is

so cool, and this will also be going into my curio cabinet because it is awesome.

Okay so we have a couple of more packages from publishers this time. First

one, it looks like it's from Simon & Schuster, and it says on the front, "The

Swan Sisters Will Awaken on March 6th 2018." I don't know who the Swan sisters

are, but we're about to find out. Cut away from your body. Oh nice, oh wow! That's a

pretty good cover!. So this is an arc for The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw. Ernshaw?

I don't know. So it says on the back that this one follows three sisters that

were accused of being witches in the past - two centuries ago - and they were

drowned by having people tie stones to their feet. And they were thrown into a

lake or some rivers. It just says deep water surrounding the town, and now every

year they come back for a very short amount of time each summer, and they try

to kill young men in the town by luring them. I guess they take possession of

three young girls, and they use these young girls to lure all these men into

the waters. And they kill them (the men) It follows a girl named Penny who can see through

these witches plots, I guess. She has to choose between saving herself and saving

this boy named Bo. It says that "death will come swiftly to those who cannot resist

the call of the sisters." Dun Dun Dun! And then this one says that it is from

penguin, but it's probably an imprint because I've never been sent anything

from actual penguin. Oh yes! I was wondering if I would get this! So DAW

Books ended up sending me a finished paperback copy of With Blood Upon the

Sand by Bradley P. Beaulieu. I did a book review of this last year when the

hardcover came out, so thank you guys. I absolutely loved this book by the way.

Check out that review if you want to know more. I also did a review of the

first book and of the prequel novella-novel thing. if you guys don't know this

follows a girl named Çeda who is living in this desert oasis city-state, and they

control all the deserts around them. There are

twelve immortal kings that have been ruling the land for a ridiculously long

time. They are responsible for the main character's mother's death.

Çeda decides that she is going to get revenge on the kings and try to kill

them. There's obviously a lot more stuff going on other than that, but if you want

to know more, check out those reviews. This series is so freaking good. Okay. I'm

so excited because they also sent me an ARC for A Veil of Spears which is the

third book in the series, and it comes out soon, I believe. March 20th. I hope

that I can read this before the book comes out. I'm super busy with the

BookTubeSFF Awards reads. I'm trying to get all of those done as quickly as

possible because I have to read like seventeen or something before the awards

show. But I'm so excited for this, and I love the series so much that I think

I'll try to squeeze this in between two BookTubeSFF Awards reads because wow,

I'm so excited. Thank you, guys! Thank you, DAW. Yes, yes this is so good. Okay.

And I think the next part is going to be the last books that I'm gonna

include in this book haul because the different clips have spanned like over a

month or something like that. So yeah. One last group of books and then done. So

last part for this book haul... hi, puppy. What's up, bud? You think that the

camera means treats? It does sometimes. I ended up getting sick again.

This is my third time being sick this year, so it delayed me filming this last

part. But I have one more package from Simon & Schuster, It says "whatever" in

pink a lot of times on it, so we'll see. Okay so it has one of those phone things

in it. I don't even know what those are for. So it is an ARC for Emergency

Contact by Mary H.K. Choi. So this one follows two characters. It follows a

girl named Penny Lee who did not really like high school all that much which is

a lot of people. She moves to Texas to learn how to write. She wants to be a

novelist, I believe. And then it also follows a boy named Sam who is literally

living at the place that he works. He works at a cafe, and he sleeps in a

storage room upstairs. He wants to be a movie director, and then they meet. And

then they start having an online relationship/friendship (I'm not really

sure). It came with a little card from the author: "Ahoy, friends! Good grief. I don't

think I've ever deployed 'ahoy' as a salutation, and let's be honest the whole

'friends' thing is a skosh over familiar to write. Yeesh.

Hi! You don't know me. I mean, you might know me but not to where you've read

an entire book me and my brain completely made up..." So it sounds like the

author has anxiety, and maybe the characters in this also have anxiety. So

we'll see. I don't read a lot of contemporary, but I may end up giving

this one a shot. I read a contemporary book every once in a while,

and sometimes I absolutely love it like "Eliza and Her Monsters" and sometimes I don't

love it like "Everything, Everything." That's funny! This is blurbed by Nicola Yoon

which is the author who wrote "Everything, Everything" which I did not like. So we'll

see where this one falls. I got a few books from my sister and her

husband. I got From Here to Eternity by Caitlin <stuggles to pronounce> Doughty.

I don't know how to say her last name. She says in her videos, and I still don't

know how to say it. Caitlin has a YouTube channel. It's

called Ask A Mortician, and she talks about all things death-related like

different types of burials ,and different ways of treating a body, and all that

stuff after someone passes. I find her channel super interesting, and I really

like her as a person. So I wanted to give her newest book a shot.

This one, I think, is about her traveling around the globe and learning about

different peoples' death traditions. But it has illustrations in it as well, so

I'm pumped to get to this one. I've been really wanting to read this for a while

now, so hopefully I'll be doing that soon... probably not because of BookTubeSFF Awards.

Speaking of, my sister gave me Raven

Stratagem by Yoon Ha Lee. This is the second book in The Machineries of Empire. I didn't know

that was the name of it, but the first book is called Ninefox Gambit which I

read and did a review on. So I'll leave that up in the card symbol, and you can check

it out. This is obviously a continuation. I don't know where the story is gonna go

from how the first book left off, but I will be reading this one for the

BooktubeSFF Awards. Hopefully I'll be doing a review. No promises.

Now I'm all red because I coughed. My sister also gave me Age of Assassins by

RJ Barker which I've heard amazing things about. I don't even remember where

I first saw this book. It follows an assassin. Instead of trying to kill

someone, he has to save someone from being assassinated. So it's an assassin versus an assassin

who's trying to kill the person he's trying to protect. I've heard great things. I'm

really excited to get to it, and I'll let you guys know what I think when I do. And

lastly my sister gave me Year One Batman which is by Frank Miller, David... ooh...

Mazzucchelli, and Richmond Lewis. I heard that this is a great Batman volume.

I actually do really enjoy the Batman comics. I don't really enjoy the movies,

but I do like the comics. And Richard from RichardReads who I'll leave a link to

down below told me that this is a really fantastic one to read. So I put it on my

wishlist, and my sister got it for me. This is what

some of the artwork looks like. It's very old style which is interesting, so we'll

see how I like it. But I am pumped to get to it because I like Batman. So in my

Christmas or my birthday haul from this year I ended up getting Arcanum

Unbounded, but the cover was messed up. So my aunt sent it back, and I got one that

actually has the full cover, and it covers the book actually. This is a

replacement copy for the one that I had because somehow that one got completely

trashed and ruined. So hopefully I will be taking better care of this one and

not have it get all destroyed. This is a bind up of a lot of the Cosmere novellas

and short stories that are in the Cosmere which is Brandon Sanderson's big

universe where a lot of his adult fantasy novels take place. You want to

read certain books before you read certain stories, and some stories you can

read without reading books. I did a book review for this which I'll leave up in

the card symbol. You can check it out to see when you can read different stories,

and what you should read before you read certain ones, etc. But I'm very happy to

have this replacement copy, so that I can add it to my collection and have

everything looking nice... The shallowness of BookTube... but mainly just me being

shallow. As I said earlier, my mother and father have been giving me my presents

for my birthday slowly throughout the year. I got Whitesand, Vol. 2 by Brandon

Sanderson, but it is by Rik Hoskin and Julius Gomez. This is published by

Dynamite. This one is set in the Cosmere. It's a graphic novel version of the

first book that he wrote in the Cosmere, I believe, but the book was never

published. And I don't think it'll ever be published in novel form. This one

follows a boy who lives on this planet called Taldain, I believe. Yes, and the

magic system of this world is that people are able to control sand. But to

be able to control sand, they have to use body water to do that. And they live in a

desert, so body water is hard to come by. The main character at the beginning of

the book has a very low ability to control sand. He can only control one

strand of sand at a time, and he has to come up with different ways to use this

one strand so that he can accomplish what other people can do with many

strands. This is what some of the artwork looks like. I like the coloring that is

in this book because when they're in the desert, the tones are more muted and when

they're in the city, the colors are a lot more vibrant, so I

like the play with colors in this comic book / graphic novel. It's a graphic

novel, and I'm excited to see where the story continues. There's also some Cosmere

connections in here. Like, one character that's in here pops up in other stories

as well. There's a world hopper - a different world hopper than the main one

Hoid. I did a book review for the first book in the series, and I'll leave that

up in the card symbol as well. But hopefully I'll be getting to this one at

some point soon and maybe doing a review of this one as well. Last two books I

bought myself. The first one is All Systems Red by Martha Wells. I really

enjoyed Martha Wells's Books of Raksura series which is a trilogy that has some

short story collections, and then it continued with a fourth book which I

have not read yet but I do own. This one follows a robot who hacked its own

governor module and refers to itself as Murderbot, and Murderbot is trying to

investigate some neighboring mission that goes dark. This is nominated for the

BookTubeSFF Awards in the short fiction category. I'm not a judge for that, but I

still wanted to read the nominations for it. I obviously like Martha Wells, so I

wanted to give it a go. I've also read her Wheel of the Infinite book which is

about a woman who is a middle-aged monk or something like that. She goes around, and

she's trying to save the world. But yes, I will be reading this one for the

BookTubeSFF Awards, and I'll let you guys know what I think.

And the last book in this book haul is gonna be My Favorite Thing Is Monsters

by Emil Ferris. This one follows a young girl, and she is living in an

apartment building. And there's a murder that happens, I believe, and then she is

on the case and trying to solve the murder. She also thinks being human is,

like, the worst thing in the world, and she thinks of herself as a werewolf or

something like that, I believe. But the artwork in this is very, very cool. It's

all done on lined paper, so if that's gonna bother you, know that. But it's all this

sketch work, and sometimes it's in full color, and sometimes it's black and white.

This is the book that I'm hosting for March, so if you haven't got your hands

on this book yet, do so and join me in the readalong for this month. I will

leave a link down in the description to the Goodreads group where you can share

your thoughts and feelings about this book. I'll also leave down in the

description an interview that Emil Ferris did where she talks about this

book and everything that she went through. She ended up being bitten by a

mosquito and then losing her ability to use her hands for a while, so she went

from being paralyzed to then really trying to get back into doing art. And she ended

up coming up with this book which is fantastic. So I'll let you guys know what

I think when I finish this one. I am going to be starting this one soon

because I actually just finished the book that I was currently reading which

took me forever to read! But yes, I'm excited for this one! So those are all

the books that are gonna be in this book haul. If you liked it, please give it a

big thumbs up and comment down below if you have read any of these books. What

were your feelings and thoughts on them? If you want to see me review any of

these books, let me know that as well, and I will talk to you guys next time.

Bye! <finger gun and tongue click>

Who Are the Illuminati Renegades of the Mystery Schools - Duration: 14:52.

Who Are the Illuminati Renegades of the Mystery Schools

The word Illuminati has become a catch-all term for the defacto Rulers of Planet Earth.

Definition is crucial because the words Conspiracy and Illuminati have themselves become

code-words for the occult (hidden) machinations of the Powers That Be.

With the advent of the internet and its rough cut of news and disinformation, what

was once considered esoteric knowledge has been revealed for all to see.

Even the cowans a derogatory Masonic term for non-Masons and the goys a derogatory

Yiddish term for non-Jews are learning about the Illuminati black magic hoodoo that

permeates the planetary matrix.

Illuminati originally meant the enlightened ones in Latin, and it refers to those who

control the political, economic and social infrastructures of the planet.

By their reasoning, they believe they are the (self) designated rulers of Planet Earth.

Also called Olympians and Moriah Conquering Wind, the Illuminati are a network

of interconnected bloodlines who call themselves The Family or The Circle.

Intergenerational satanism, or more accurately Luciferianism, is their primary Belief Structure

(Thats BS to you, pardner).

Also dont forget their fatal flaw The Illuminati consider themselves a tribe apart

Bande part a proud super-race who trace their genealogical origin back to

the biblical Nimrod.

To add to the confusion, people sometimes refer to the Illuminati as the Bavarian secret

society which infiltrated Freemasonry even as the term Illuminatus is an actual

title in Freemasonry.

Current understanding of the Illuminati comes from first-hand knowledge of mind control

survivors like Arizona Wilder, Cathy OBrien, author of Trance Formation of America, Brice

Taylor, author of Thanks for the Memories, Kathleen Sullivan, author of MK, and Annie

McKenna, author of Paperclip Dolls.

Their accounts describe a parallel Illuminati culture whose primary goal is to keep

the populace productive and under control, as their corporate motto promises to deliver,

Ordo ab Chao (Order Out of Chaos).

This parasitic Illuminati culture also uses mind control programming to keep its own members

of the Family, as well as the rest of society, locked in a grid of compliance.

(See Mind Control Slavery and the New World Order).

Various authors have further introduced errors in their exposs of the Illuminati

by interpreting history with a bias that reflects their own political and religious indoctrination.

For example, the works of Fritz Springmeier and Cisco Wheeler, while informative about

the Illuminatis sociopathic traditions (no es mi costumbre) and psychopathic behaviour,

which includes torture, human sacrifice and mind control, nevertheless belie a Christian

programming which adds to the chaos and confusion of trying to untangle history from disinformation.

Likewise even as the writings of John Coleman, author of The Committee of 300 and Eustace

Mullins, author of The World Order, describe various Illuminati organisations which exercise

political and religious control in pursuit of their oft-stated goal of establishing a

New World Order (One World Government), their asides reveal a rigid Christian fundamentalist

mindset which undermines their credibility.

The greatest confusion, however, seems to lie in the connection between the Illuminati

and the Gnostics.

For example, authors like Nesta Webster in her book on Secret Societies claims the Illuminati

can be traced back to the Gnostics.

In other words, she frames her argument that Illuminati and the Gnostics are bad

because they appear to be antithetical to Christianity.

This conflict then refers to the perennial battle between the Gnostics, representing

the Mystery Schools, and the Roman Catholic Church which fought fiercely against self-knowledge,

mysticism and other metaphysical concepts, inimical to the mind control confabulations

of the Vatican.

Today this animosity is evident in the Belief Systems (BS) of Christian evangelicals, among

others, who see all secret societies, Gnostics, New Agers, and the like as devil worshippers

and ignorant (or conscious) agents of the Illuminati.

Not so The Mystery Schools were pre-Christian mystical communities that were in effect educational

centres with libraries and workshops amid a vibrant cultural life.

This just may be the scene of the crime, so to speak, and the origin of the current metaphysical

confusion.

Was this where the great ideological schism, or the Dividing of the Way, began?

Gnostics vs. Illuminati

Comparative mythologist John Lamb Lash, the worlds foremost authority on Gnosticism

and esoteric traditions, is the author of the indispensable groundbreaking book Not

In His Image: Gnostic Vision, Sacred Ecology and the Future of Belief.

According to Lash, Mystery School adepts (so-called Gnostics) were originally members of the Magian

order of shaman-initiates whose purpose was to guide humanity as teacher-mystics in pursuit

of spiritual/ human evolution.

The controversy began when certain initiates of the Mystery Schools began to abuse their

mystical knowledge and redirect it into behavioural manipulation, psychological programming and

mind control technology.

In essence, the Illuminati gave up their role as teachers to become social engineers and

advisors to the Ruling Class.

This coincided with the rise of the patriarchal Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Islam and

Christianity, which also required techniques of mind control to keep their followers (believers)

in line.

Around 4000 BCE with the rise of urban civilisation in the Near East, some members

of the Magian order chose to apply certain secrets of initiation to statecraft and social

engineering, writes Lash, describing the spiritual devolution of the Kali Yuga.

They became the advisors to the first theocrats of the patriarchal nation-states, but in fact

the advisors were running the show.

Their subjects were systematically programmed to believe they were descended from the gods,

continues Lash.

The Illuminati inaugurated elaborate rites of empowerment, or kingship rituals.

These rituals were in fact methods of mind control exercised on the general populace

through the collective symbology and mystique of royal authority.

Civilisation the Civil Lie in Action needed an iron fist in a velvet glove from the beginning,

and the Illuminati were there to ensure compliance.

Kingship rituals were distinct from the rites of initiation that led to instruction

by the Light and consecration to the Great Goddess, writes Lash.

Their purpose was not education and enlightenment but social management.

The control freak tendencies of the Illuminati are evident everywhere now, as their failure

in managing the world financial system is rushing the planet headlong into economic

collapse.

Gnostics refrained from assuming any role in politics because their intention was not

to change society, but to produce skilled, well-balanced, enlightened individuals who

would create a society good enough that it did not need to be run by external management,

Lash continues.

The intention of the dissident Magians to run society by covert controls was based

on their assumption that human beings are not innately good enough, or gifted enough,

to create a humane world. Of course Lash is being too liberal

in labelling the Illuminati as dissident since their spiritual betrayal in the Mystery

School was more of a bitch slap to Gaia, than the red flag of a covert rebellion.

The difference in views of human potential was the main force that precipitated the division

of the Magians, writes Lash, meaning that the judgmental arrogance of the Illuminati

who believed they were indispensable, even as they think theyre nothing less than

Gods gift to mankind.

Its simple enough to see that this mind set would develop the hierarchal structures

in society today, Lash continues.

True enough.

The so-called Global Elite keep the planet under control utilising Illuminati Gofers

known as politicians, military personnel, police officers, and religious leaders, whose

function is to be the shepherds of society guarding the sheep until theyre

ready for slaughter in their endless wars and intertribal rivalries.

People who behave as sheep, or so-called sheople, are always the ones who suffer the most because

of their programming.

Meanwhile the Illuminati Gofers pretend that this is the way its supposed to be.

This long-standing ideological disagreement in the Mystery Schools has, it appears, resulted

in the gross inequities of life on Planet Earth.

The Illuminati program was (and still is) essential to patriarchy and its cover, perpetrator

religion, writes Lash, describing the global conspiracy which has conquered the world.

While it cannot be exactly said that the deviant adepts known as Illuminati created

patriarchy, they certainly controlled it, continues Lash.

And still do.

The abuse of initiatory knowledge to induce schizophrenic states (entrainment),

manipulate multiple personalities in the same person (platforming), and command behaviour

through posthypnotic suggestion (The Manchurian Candidate technique) continues to this day,

with truly evil consequences for the entire world.

Attempting to disentangle the erroneous idea that Gnostics and Illuminati refer to the

same characters, Lash writes: If we accept that the Mysteries were schools

for Gaian co-evolution dedicated to the Goddess Sophia, they could not have been run by the

Illuminati, as some contemporary writers (who believe they are exposing the Illuminati)

have supposed.

Everything the Gnostics did in the schools was intended to counterbalance and correct

the machinations of the deviant adepts. Right intent once again becomes critical and

the radical difference in ideology between the Gnostics and the Illuminati become self-evident.

Initiation involved melting ego boundaries in preparation for deep rapport with nature,

not lowering the ego consciousness, so that the subject could be behaviourally programmed

using the power of suggestion, imprinting and other psychodramatic methods.

These behavioural modification tools of the Illuminati were strictly forbidden in the

Mysteries overseen by the Gnostics. The metaphysical perverts known as the Illuminati

have structured todays society to reflect the manipulation of humankind through religious

belief systems, political affiliations as well as the non-stop onslaught of media programming

known as news and entertainment.

The Defeat of the Illuminati

As renegades from the Mystery Schools who betrayed the Mysteries and subverted Gnosis

(Knowledge), the Illuminati plan to divide, conquer and rule the world has worked

quite well because people are easily programmed into belief systems contrary to their own

welfare.

As Lash notes, Skilled in theology and dialectical argument,

the Gnostics were able to refute fanatical beliefs, but unable to protect themselves

against the violence driven by those beliefs. In other words Judeo-Christian Annihilation

& Apocalyptic Theology sponsored by the Illuminati was responsible for the destruction of the

Mystery Schools and the murder of the Gnostics, who were no match for those who perceived

them as a threat to their planetary dominion.

Not only were the gnostokoi like [the female philosophy teacher] Hypatia [who was murdered

by the Church] apolitical, they deliberately refrained from involvement in politics in

order to dissociate themselves from the other type of initiates, the Illuminati who had

been enmeshed in patriarchal and theocratic power games from their outset, Lash concludes.

The Illuminati may be considered to be apostate Gnostics who abandoned their role of enlightening

humankind in order to reap the benefits and entitlements of the Ruling Class.

Now as before the Illuminati continue to move towards their goal a feverish dream of

world domination culminating in the so-called New World Order (One World Government), which

simply means Global Techno-Feudalism.

This has always been Metaphysical Warfare.

And humankinds choice is once again Freedom or Slavery.

Maybe the Know-It-Alls a derogatory term used by the Church against the Gnostics

might be able to help them out

Top 5 Thí Nghiệm Khoa Học Rùng Rợn của Trung Quốc | Trung Quốc Không Kiểm Duyệt - Duration: 11:00.

On this episode of China Uncensored,

China is jumping on the creepy science experiment bandwagon,

and boy is it weird.

Welcome back to China Uncensored.

I'm Chris Chappell.

History is no stranger to creepy science experiments.

The Nazis did them.

Imperial Japan did them, too.

And let's not forget Dr. Frankenstein.

And, you know, the great thing about being

an authoritarian country without mechanisms for public oversight,

is there aren't that many restrictions

when it comes to experimenting on animals...

and people.

So today we bring you

the top 5 creepy Chinese science experiments

sure to send shivers down your spine.

Number 5: Cloning

First, there was Dolly.

"I'm Dolly, I'm a sheep from Roslin,

and people like to make a big fuss

about the fact that I'm a clown.

Clone!

Clone!"

Oh, Dolly, you're hilarious.

Dolly the sheep was the first ever animal

to be successfully cloned from an adult cell.

Now that's a big deal because, well,

it proves that in theory,

the adult me that I know and love,

could create an exact copy of...myself.

Oh what's that Dolly?

I mean Shelley?

Oh.

It turns out Dolly was a "lower order species"

and didn't really prove I can clone myself.

But that's changed now,

thanks to a recent experiment in China.

"Well scientists from Shanghai have done it again.

But this time,

they've cloned a couple of adorable macaque monkeys."

They're named Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua,

which is a cute way of saying,

"Chinese nation."

Because nothing says patriotism

like science experiments on monkeys

where most of them died.

Seriously, they implanted 79 embryos

and only 2 of them survived.

With results like that,

I definitely would have failed biology class.

Maybe there's an easier way

for me to clone myself?

But anyway, technically,

these are not the first-ever monkey clones.

In 2000, scientists cloned a rhesus monkey

named Tetra.

But that was done using the much simpler method of splitting embryos.

This new experiment,

which was reported in January 2018,

is far more advanced.

According to one researcher,

this new technology could be used

to clone humans.

But don't worry!

Researchers assure us they have

no intention of doing that.

I don't think there's anybody

are willing to do human cloning,

and society would not permit it.

But like any new technology,

once it appears,

there's always the possibility of misuse."

The misuse of technology for a sinister purpose?

The Chinese Communist Party would never allow that.

Let's just focus on the good parts.

"But let's be honest.

We just care that these lovable monkeys

are so darn cute."

Awwww...

Number 4: Animal head transplant

Back in 2013,

a Chinese doctor became the first scientist

to take the head from one mouse

and "successfully" attach it

to the body of another.

"Ren says after having its head placed onto a new body,

the mouse opened its eyes,

could breathe,

and make basic movements."

Oh and then it died a day later.

What more could you ask for in a successful surgery?

And Dr. Ren Xiaoping has conducted

over a thousand such "successful" mouse head transplants.

An army of frankenmice.

Somehow, it's still adorable.

But it turns out the good doctor

was just warming up.

All those rodents were just the appetizer

ahead of the main course––

a monkey head.

"Before we can transplant a head,

we connect it and the body

with a tube like this.

This ensures that when the head is moved, the circulation isn't cut."

According to a 2016 report by the New Scientist,

Dr. Ren pulled off the daring feat…

I mean the head…

off a monkey and reattached it

to the body of another monkey.

The monkey survived,

but was only kept alive for 20 hours

after the procedure—

for ethical reasons, he said.

Which is to say,

"The monkey could totally have survived longer it we wanted it to.

We swear.

It's all about the ethics."

Yes, frankenmonkeys are all about the ethics.

Let's just move ahead, shall we?

Number 3: Human head transplant

Well, it turns out a monkey head wasn't quite

headline material enough for Dr. Ren Xiaoping.

"The head transplant is the last

and greatest challenge of the human medical science.

At a press conference in December,

his colleague,

Italian doctor Sergio Canavero,

dropped the bombshell.

"The surgery happened—successfully."

Well if it's the same kind of "successfully"

as with the mice and the monkey…

Oh wait.

What's that?

"The first full rehearsal has taken place in China."

A full rehearsal?

What does that mean?

"The surgery lasted 18 hours..."

Aaaannndddd....?

"In a few days, Xiaoping will announce

and will give you all the ins and outs."

Oh, what an anti-climax.

Well it turns out Dr. Ren Xiaoping

did give all the ins and outs,

in this article in Surgical Neurology International.

First of all, just to let you know,

the experiment was approved by a Chinese ethics board

and the families of the cadavers consented.

Still, I'm gonna need to see a copy of those consent forms,

if you don't mind.

But in conclusion, drum roll please…

Dr. Ren says that the test run head graft

was a great success!

And by success,

he meant both test subjects were dead.

No, the surgery didn't kill them.

He just did the experiment on dead bodies.

So...take that "success" with a grain of salt.

So what exactly is the plan now?

"The next step is a full head transplant

on a brain-dead organ donor,

and the first human head transplant is imminent."

So first a frankenmouse,

then a frankenmonkey,

and now a franken...stein?

I can't wait.

Number 2: Easy organ "donation"

This creepy science experiment involves

figuring out how to use the internal organs

from prisoners executed by lethal injection.

Now, if you've been watching China Uncensored for a while,

you've probably seen some episodes

about China's organ donation program.

And for those of you who are new to the show,

in China, "donation" means they kill you

and take your organs.

A lot of China's involuntary organ donors

are prisoners who are given the death penalty.

And in China you can be given the death penalty

for things like economic crimes.

But there's a problem.

Prisoners are now executed

using lethal injection,

so the organs get poisoned too.

That means, after the transplant is done,

the host body often rejects the organ.

But thanks to the groundbreaking research

of one Wang Lijun,

China can continue to extract organs

from unwilling donors and not worry about a thing.

According to the China Organ Harvest Research Center,

"Wang Lijun carried out thousands

of what were effectively live human experiments"

and his team "made step-by-step scientific success

in making it possible for an organ to be accepted

by the recipient after lethal injections."

By the way, Wang Lijun is not a scientist or a doctor.

He was a police chief

who worked with purged former CCP official Bo Xilai.

Wang is the guy that fled to the US Consulate in 2012

and triggered a huge scandal

that exposed the factional in fighting within the CCP.

And he's now serving a 15-year prison sentence

for corruption.

Sounds like just the kind of guy

who should be working on

cutting-edge scientific breakthroughs involving dicey ethical issues.

Wang's research paved the way

for organ "donations" from even more unwilling donors:

Prisoners of conscience,

like Falun Gong practitioners,

house Christians,

Uighurs, and Tibetans.

These are different from prisoners given the death penalty,

since they are imprisoned for their beliefs

and then just quietly "disappeared"

into the system.

And according to reports,

there are a lot of them.

Yes, political prisoners can rest easy now,

knowing that the organs forcibly plucked from their bodies

will give the gift of life to wealthy Chinese patients

without any poisonous side effects.

And number one:

Human body plastination

Plastination means taking human bodies

and turning them into human Ken and Barbie dolls

to be put on display for fun and profit.

Haha.

That looks like so much fun.

Chinese scientist Sui Hongjin learned

the creepy craft of plastinating human bodies

by teaming up with the creepy German anatomist

who invented the technique.

But the two parted ways and Sui Hongjin

later set up his own plant in China

and perfected the art-slash-science

of turning people into plastic.

He churned out human bodies set in all kinds of

bizarre poses and sold them to international exhibitions.

And he made a killing.

Well, actually someone else did the killing.

You see, Chinese people tend not to

donate their bodies to science.

Then where did all these bodies come from?

Well, at first Sui Hongjin implied they were donated.

Then he said he didn't know.

Then, after a lawsuit,

the exhibitions were forced to put up a disclaimer,

saying that they got the bodies from the Chinese police.

And the police may have gotten them from Chinese prisons.

So... probably no consent forms.

Can we go back to the frankenmice?

That was a lot less disturbing.

Rallies being held across nation to mark Int'l Women's Day - Duration: 2:50.

The world celebrates the 110th International Women's Day.

Korea's is no exception, massive rallies to demand equal rights was held in the nation's

capital.

Kim Mok-yeon takes us there.

International Women's Day is a global celebration that sheds light on the struggle for women's

rights.

The day was created to commemorate American female laborers who fought for their labor

and voting rights in 1908,... and this year, South Korea has officially designated the

day as a public occasion.

One of the nation's largest labor organizations, the Korean Federation of Trade Unions held

a special event to celebrate the day's 110th anniversary.

Hundreds of thousands of members of the union gathered in front of Seoul's Gwanghwamun square

at 2 p.m. to attend the national female laborer's conference which seeks to highlight inequalities

such as the gender wage gap in Korea.

"The root of the sexual harassment cases is not just because of one individual, but also

because of the current social customs.

We will work to create a society where women's labor and sexual rights can be respected."

"Participants then headed to the annual "3 o'clock STOP" event, to join some 13 other

organizations hoping to improve conditions for female workers in Korea."

The event, which is the second of its kind, demands for female workers to STOP and finish

work at 3 p.m.

According to the organizers, the wage gap in South Korea was twice the OECD average,

at 36.7 percent in 2015, which means that the wage women receive for a day's work is

only equivalent to the wage men receive for working until 3 p.m.

The laborers demanded that the government find a solution to the multiplying sexual

assault cases, solve the gender-based wage gap, and respect the labor rights of women.

The participants, most of them dressed in black, holding pickets that read '3 o'clock

stop' and 'me too', shouted for women not to be afraid anymore.

"Let's end harassment in the workplace "

There were also male participants who raised their voices for gender equality.

"I came here to show my support towards eradicating violence against women.

Especially nowadays when sexual harassment cases are rising, I hope that the government

could come up with measures that can solve this problem as soon as possible."

Some of these people have been marching since this morning, and many also joined the street

rally heading to the Ministry of Employment and Labor in Jung-gu district.

" I decided to visit because I wanted to celebrate the 110th anniversary of this special day.

I hope such movements can create a real democratic society where there is no sexual discrimination."

With ongoing campaigns such as the #Metoo movement, many hope the day could be an opportunity

for women to be brave in speaking out.

Answering FAQs about the Nuclear Test Films - Duration: 15:25.

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where we are right now, recently

declassified over a hundred film recordings of the above-ground nuclear

tests that the U.S. conducted between 1945 and 1962. These films are free and

available to the public on a playlist on our YouTube channel, and as you guys have

been watching them you've been asking some interesting questions regarding

some of the things that are happening in these films.

Lawrence Livermore nuclear physicist Greg Spriggs is here to help me answer

some of those questions today. We're going to use this laptop here to take a

look at some of our test films.

G: Fantastic

We stopped above-ground nuclear testing in 1962, and we stopped underground

nuclear testing in 1992 so aside from being an interesting relic of our

nuclear past, what do these test films help us do? The data that was obtained

from these detonations is used today to help validate our computer codes.

Since we stopped testing nuclear weapons and as a result we also stopped

designing nuclear weapons so now we do everything with big computer codes and

simulations. But the code is a computer code and it may give you a bogus answer

and you need to validate that against some real data and this benchmark data

that we obtained from the films is basically what we're normalizing our

computer codes to. So these are very, very important films. What new things can we

see now that the films are on a computer that we maybe couldn't see when they

were in physical form? The way they read the films back in the 1950s, they used a

device called a kodagraph which was basically just an image enlarger. And

it involved humans putting this film into this kodagraph, measuring, moving

things around and then trying to read it by eye. What we're doing out with the

computer though is we're able to read the optical density on the film and get

a much more accurate measure of the shock wave as a function of time and so

the uncertainty of the yield determinations has dropped from about

plus or minus 10% down to about plus or minus 1%. Sure not as much human error.

Yes. Instead of taking weeks to measure one particular film it now takes us just

a matter of minutes to do it, so we're able to analyze more films than

what was done back in the 1950s and we end up with much more accurate data and a

more complete record of what the data is on that film. So this is what the value

these films are now there are things that we're doing that they didn't even

think of doing back in the 50s or didn't have the technology to do. So

we've got more data, more accurate data, new techniques, and we're using all of

that to plug in to the computer codes that we use now to simulate nuclear

detonation. That's correct. From beginning to end, can

you sort of walk us through the big basics of what's happening in each of

these detonations. When the nuclear detonation goes off, you end up fissioning

uranium or plutonium some sort of nuclear fuel and it produces this huge

amount of energy in a very small volume. There are four effects

cause from a nuclear detonation, four major effects. The first one is prompt

radiation that's being emitted by the fission process, so you get prompt gammas

and prompt neutrons and neutrinos and so forth. The next effect that we see is the

thermal output. When the detonation occurs about 86% of the energy

that's released from the detonation goes into heating up the air, so the air

becomes very hot. The third effect is the shockwave--this high temperature plasma

that's formed in this primary, or in the weapon itself, starts to push on the

surrounding air and it creates a shockwave. That shockwave is moving very

very fast it's moving about Mach 100 and as a result it's very, very hot, so as the

shock wave expands it starts to cool, and in this film here as you watch it go

out you see it's bright initially but that's because the shockwave is very, very

hot, putting out lots of visible light, and in the next frame the intensity

comes down a little bit and the reason it comes down is because the shock wave

is considerably cooler, but it's still hot enough that it's opaque to the hot

gases on the inside. So we have this very hot ball of gasses but you can't see it

all you're really looking at is the surface temperature of the shockwave.

When the shockwave finally drops down below the Draper temperature of 525

degrees it disappears off of the film and it's completely transparent to light

and so as you continue out a couple more frames light intensity comes back up

again, and that's because the hot gases are now able to shine through. I see, so

it's almost like the shockwave is like the shell covering up the hot gas on the

inside and once that disappears as it cools off then you've got the hot gas on

the inside. Exactly, so there are two distinct pulses associated with the

nuclear detonation. You don't see that with a conventional weapon. The

reason is that the gases inside the conventional weapon don't get nearly as

hot as they do on a nuclear detonation, so this particular shot was out in

the Pacific, it was a tower shot. They put these on towers on this

particular island out here, and I believe this was Enwetok, the moisture

out in the Pacific was always on the order of almost 80 to 90%, most of the

time was close to 100%, so you get this Wilson cloud effect which obscures the

fireball. When we do air drops we don't have a Wilson cloud usually the air drop

is up high enough. In the Pacific we did it up high enough that

didn't have that much moisture or at the Nevada Test Site where the normal

surface humidity was very, very low and so you don't see this Wilson cloud on

most of the air drops. So this is the Wilson cloud as you go out a little bit

further the prompt radiation dies down, the Wilson cloud disappears and you can

now start to see what's on the inside of that Wilson cloud--you see the

bomb debris, the early cloud is actually starting to form at the very top up

there. In this particular case it brought coral into the fireball and that

coral got very hot and sort of got scorched and so you're looking at the

bomb debris, the smoke and burnt coral that got sucked up into the fireball. And

so this was, as you said, a tower shot? This was a tower shot. Okay, and then

there are they're just only two kinds, a tower shot and one that's dropped? They

did several different kind of shots out in the Pacific. One of them was called a

barge shot--these were the very high yield ones. They didn't want to drop them

out of a plane so they put them on a barge and they would float the barge out

into the deep water region around the Pacific. And then they did another series

of shots were air drops out in the Pacific, most of these were done during

Operation Dominic in 1962 and those really show the double pulse that I was

trying to explain earlier. At the Nevada Test Site they added one more category--

they had these helium balloons, they would put the bomb into the gondola underneath

the balloon and they would tether the balloon onto the surface, and they

did about 40 different balloon shots and they stopped doing it--the the top part

of the fireball was distorted because of the helium balloon and then they had

these lines, these tether lines, and you would see these spikes coming off on the

bottom of the fireball which was the cables that were actually vaporizing

during the detonation itself. Oh because that's one of the questions that we

often get on some of these I think I've got one of these, some people call

them like the protrusions or the legs that come off the fireball here...this is a

function of how they were carried to their detonation site? Right, so

that was a tower shot so if you go a little bit further and you can see those

spikes again but you'll also see the tower is vaporizing right below it and

these towers that were basically just a big elevator shaft, and again they had

cables that would tether this tower to keep it upright and you could see the

cables were starting to vaporize in addition to the just the tower itself

underneath there. These protrusions which are it's

tethers and the tower are, you know, lighting up faster than the sphere of

the explosion, why is that? The shockwave is very, very hot, it could be on the

order of five hundred thousand degrees...when it's very very hot, it puts out X-rays

and the X-rays go through the atmosphere and they interact with the

cable and the tower, so out in the air you don't see the interaction of the X-rays

with the air, but with the cable since it's a much higher density and

the X-rays interact with it and cause it to vaporize, and that's why you can actually

see the cables. So really on the outside of this fireball are a bunch of X-rays

that are being emitted by that shockwave surface because it's so hot it's just on

the cables you can see it and the tower you can see it. Right, so if anything else

solid were around this one would be able to see that too due to the X-rays? Yes, due to the

X-rays emitted by the surface. Well, let's then talk about this one because it's a

great example of another frequently asked question, which is the streaks in

the air behind some of these clouds, can you tell me what those were used for?

As the shock wave moves out further and further it gets cooler and cooler

and when it finally reaches 525 degrees centigrade, the Draper temperature, it no

longer emits visible light, and so on the film--which is only sensitive to visible

light--it looks as if the shock wave disappears off of the film.

I see. So they came up with this trick, they said, 'Hey you know when the shock

wave finally disappears, what we can do is we can put out these smoke trails

and we have at the shock wave front this very high density air region and

then on the outside the shock wave we have ambient air, and we can use the

optical illusion effect to illuminate where the shock wave front is', and it's

the same effect you go from a low density air above the straw to a

higher density region which is the water and it looks like the straw was broken

right so the straw comes in here and then once it hits the water it looks

like it goes down here so what happens is the shock wave as it moved away from

the detonation point, there was this optical illusion with these smoke trails

and it formed these little hooks in the shock--in these contrails, but it actually

didn't interact with the contrails it was just a little hook that was caused

from an optical illusion from that effect there. About five seconds before every

detonation, they would shoot up these rocket trails and these trails usually

were about halfway between the camera and the detonation point. In this particular

case there's another set of cameras on the other side which actually show the

hooks as the shock wave moves out. So they could follow the shock wave out

further and that would help them understand shock wave physics. For these

nuclear detonations they wanted to capture a larger portion of the light

output as a function time. Because you've got something that's hugely bright--very, very

bright. So they used a film called microfile which had silver halide crystals in

it that were actually on the order of about a micron, very fine-grained film. You

could actually blow that film up with an image enlarger maybe a hundred times, 200

times and still not see the grain. Wow. These particular films, the ones that

were done on the microfile film, the speed on it was 0.1 as opposed to

normal range film of 200 to 2,000, so it was very, very hard to expose unless

you had a nuclear detonation and the nuclear detonation was bright enough

that it would actually activate the film even during the high-speed photography

of it yeah. So they're very, very bright-- when a nuclear detonation occurs the

light output from a nuclear detonation changes by about 12 orders of magnitude.

The best film that Kodak made, which was the microfile film, only captures about

four orders a magnitude of that variation. And so that's what you're seeing on this

film is four orders of magnitude of light variation. And it was done very, very

early in the morning so there was no backlight to mess up the photography and

unfortunately if they didn't time it just perfectly it stayed dark a little

bit too long and so this particular film, it kind of disappeared off the film

because it stopped glowing. Since we're talking about the film, we've got these

numbers down at the bottom of most of these test films, what are these keeping track of?

When we render the films, the particular scanner that we're using is a

true frame by frame counter. It captures each

individual frame and we like to keep track of that so that when we measure

the data we have an absolute reference number here, so that we just simply put

the frame number down at the bottom. I see, ok. It doesn't refer to doesn't refer to

time or anything it's just a frame counter. I see are they

recording the explosion in real time are these slowed down at all?

The shock wave is moving at Mach 100, it's moving very, very fast

so the only way you can slow that down and

capture it you have to use a high-speed camera most cameras. The standard

Hollywood camera runs at 24 frames a second. When you're trying to capture the

shock wave as a function of time they wanted to run it at 2,400 frames a

second, about a factor 100. That was fast enough that they could capture this and

then when you play it back at normal speed of, on a video plays it back at 30 frames a

second it looks like it's running in a slow motion. So they had about 10 of

those kind of cameras that were capturing the early cloud and then they

had another series of cameras that were used to capture the late cloud. Well the

late cloud it takes about seven or eight minutes for the cloud to reach the top

and so they adjusted the speed on those cameras to one frame per second so that

was moving much much faster so it was a time-lapse. Interesting, so this is so we can get as much

scientific data from them as possible. Exactly. The last commonly asked question that we get

on a lot of these films is what happened to those places after the tests were

conducted and if we were to go to them now, would we be able to tell are there

any lasting impacts from the tests that were done there? At the Nevada Test Site

after the atmospheric testing was done they went underground and they started

making what were called subsidence craters, so you would detonate this several

thousand feet underground and it would vaporize a certain amount of soil

underneath which would then cause a cavity to form and then the weight of the

soil above would basically collapse into this cavity and it would cause a crater

on the surface those are called subsidence craters. We did about 800 of those

underground tests and we did 200 atmospheric shots. So if you went out to

the Nevada Test Site you might be able to find maybe a half a dozen different

areas where they had the original fallout plume where it went to the

ground. They usually have it fenced off so you can't get into it,

they monitor this constantly, they have remote solar powered monitors out there

so that nobody happens wandering into it and they can monitor it. They

do a lot of cleanup out there also, so if they had one site they wanted to clean

up they would basically go in there and scrape off the top four or five inches

of soil and put it in barrels and bury it. So the site out there is basically

pretty clean, so yeah, there's not very much out there anymore, it's just

they maintain it because it is a radiation area. In the Pacific they did a

lot of shots at the Bikini Atoll and Enewetok, and in those areas are

closed off to the public they actually went out and did scrape off some of the

coral sand that was on the surface that was contaminated and replaced it with

fresh sand but when you go out into the lagoon itself there was no way to

practically clean up all of that radioactive material that's underneath

the water so it's basically closed off to the public, so you really can't go out and see

that. We use these test films to help validate our nuclear models that we use

on our supercomputers but why would you say is that important Greg, why are we

doing that? We use the atmospheric test data and some of the underground test

data to basically validate our computer codes so that we can continue to monitor

the nuclear stockpile for the United States and certify that indeed if we

ever have to use it that it would work the way it was intended to work. Ok well, I

think that answers all of the frequently asked questions, Greg, thanks

for stopping by and talking to me about it, really appreciate it. Thank you for having me.

We learned a lot today, not only about our country's nuclear testing

past but also what we're still learning from these films decades later. It's all

part of this Lab's responsibilities around something called stockpile

stewardship and we have a video coming out soon on what exactly that means so

subscribe to this channel and stay tuned. This is something that's important to

learn about and understand today, so leave your questions about it down in

the comments below. Thanks for watching and we'll see you next time.

Essence Of Murli 09-03-2018 - Duration: 8:14.

Om Shanti !

Today's Murli Date Is 9th March 2018

Essence:Sweet children, remain honest with the true Father

and you will continue to accumulate an income of multimillions at every step.

Question:Which attainment can no one, apart from God, enable you to attain?

Answer: People desire to receive happiness and peace.

You receive peace in the land of liberation and happiness in the land of liberation-in-life.

Therefore, no one except God can enable you to attain liberation or liberation-in-life.

You children should now feel mercy for souls who are wandering around.

The poor people are wandering around searching for the path; you have to show them the path.

Song: On the path of justice.

Essence for dharna: 1. In order to attain liberation, remember the Father and have your sins absolved.

In order to attain liberation-in-life, become a spinner of the discus of self-realisation and also study.

2. Become merciful and show the way home to those who are wandering around.

Help everyone receive their inheritance of liberation and liberation-in-life from the Father.

Blessing:May you be a conqueror of Maya who earns an income of multimillions at every step by remaining constantly busy.

You children have become Brahmins ( by our deeds and not birth etc ) to be constantly busy.

Only those who remain busy are the biggest businessmen of all who earn an income of multimillions at every step.

Throughout the whole cycle no one else can do such business,

and Maya cannot come to those who remain constantly busy because they don't have time to receive Maya

So, always maintain the spiritual intoxication that you have multimillions at every step.

However, to the extent that you have intoxication, you must also remain humble.

Slogan: Success is guaranteed when you surrender your service to the Father.

To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.

The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.

We spiritual children convey to spiritual Baapdada, our love our remembrance, our good morning & our namaste namaste
