Waching daily Mar 9 2018

So Lil Yachty has just released the sequel to his Lil Boat mixtape, but is it good?

That's the question we're gonna be answering today.

I actually kinda enjoyed the first Lil Boat mixtape and got a fair amount of enjoyment

out of it.

You know it was quite entertaining, it was quite fun.

So does this one hold up or even excel past the first one?

This is CDTVProductions and let's talk about, lets talk about this album.

(Intro: Clip - Lil Yachty "Das Cap")

Seeing as this is the sequel, I might as well start of by telling you guys why I actually

kinda enjoyed the first Lil Boat mixtape.

I appreciated that Yachty somewhat brought a bit of a unique sound on there, he had this

goofy charm and he was making some music over these fun, playful instrumentals.

Like no matter what you think of him, he did have a distinctive sound and was different

to a degree.

That's what made his music stand out to me.

I especially enjoyed his autotuned singing tracks, of which there were quite a few on

Lil Boat.

Basically, the type of Yachty I usually like is the "f*** them kids bro" Yachty.

And... there's barely any of that on here.

The only tracks that really reminded me of his Lil Boat 1 style was She Ready, which

is a good track, and maybe also Love Me Forever which is super average.

And 80% of the remaining tracks are insanely uninteresting, it genuinely surprised me.

What is Yachty doing here?

On this tape, in my opinion, he loses absolutely everything that made him an interesting character

in the first place.

He's substituted the goofy singing which was quite quirky and fun, with this low key

style of rapping that it sounds like anyone else could pull off better.

What makes it even worse, what makes it stand out even more, is that across this whole tape,

or on a lot of these tracks at least, he just sounds so timid.

You can't rap about flexing on people and trying to sound hard when you're rapping

in this tone that makes it sound like you're scared your parents will find out you're

cursing in your rap songs.

(Clip: Lil Yachty "Mickey").

Yachty does rap with confidence occasionally, such as on the track Pop Out, but that's

just one of many tracks here where he doesn't rap with any confidence at all.

It sounds kinda like 21 Savage if his voice hadn't broken yet and he was nervous to

be rapping.

Not to mention, he still has a few songs where his flow doesn't even sound that great,

which is an issue I have a lot when Yachty raps.

On songs like Talk To Me Nice and the pre-hook Of Oops, his flow sounds so damn clumsy, it's

actually sort of cringey to listen to.

(Clip: Lil Yachty "Oops (featuring 2 Chainz & K$upreme)").

Sometimes it feels like Yachty thinks not pausing for a breath makes for a good flow,

and it can, but you really have to think about if it actually sits on the beat nicely.

On those songs I mentioned, it doesn't.

I will say that his flow has improved if you take it as a whole, like he flows good on

songs such as Count Me In an NBAYoungBoat, but it's not like he flows well enough to

save the project.

And whilst the beats are just fine in terms of how they're produced, except for maybe

Count Me In which sounds like the instrumental for Magnolia had a less mentally capable cousin,

these beats are so clearly not Yachty's style, and I wish he would stop rapping over

these beats that sound like they're more suited to the Migos.

See when Yachty rapped in the past, or even on the first Lil Boat mixtape, he would use

these instrumentals that were still bright and vibrant, they would still have this kind

of summer-ey, nice, upbeat feel to it, but on this tape he opts for this mixture of menacing

or gloomy beats and it really takes away what made his music so unique, what gave him his

own personality.

His voice is not made for dark bangers, it's just not.

Sure, he still has some funny lines, some lines that make me laugh, but the tone is

so off.

There's no fun to be had when its over these dark beats.

The intro and Outro tracks do have a lighter tone to them, but they also aren't that

great either.

It's kinda hard to talk about what I like on this album because fundamentally I don't

like what is on here.

It sounds so fake and forced.

Basically, if you like what Lil Yachty did on the Quality Control compilation tape, you'll

like this.

I didn't like what he did on there so if you also didn't like what he did on there, I'll

save you 45 minutes and tell you what you should listen to from this project.

The 2 Chainz Verse From Oops, Tee Grizzley's gritty verse on Get Money Bros, She Ready,

NBAYoungBoat which is a fun enough track, even though I felt like NBA YoungBoy sounded

a lot like a more energetic version of Quavo on it, and surprisingly Lil Pump's energetic

verse on Baby Daddy was notable enough to stand out.

That's it.

And notice i said you should check out most of those tracks for the features.

Not Yachty himself.

This is not good.

If it sounds like I'm struggling to speak about the positives of this mixtape, it's

because I genuinely don't see many.

Maybe you like Yachty doing this style, I personally can't stand it.

There's barely any redeeming qualities to it, and I think I enjoyed Teenage Emotions

more than this.

At least Yachty sounded like himself on Teenage Emotions.

I've got to give Lil Boat 2 by Lil Yachty a 2.3/10.

This might be the worst album I've heard so far this year.

I didn't think Yachty could go lower than Teenage Emotions, but he managed it with this

for me.

So what did you guys think?

DJI Osmo Mobile 2 | Must-Have Phone Camera Accessory for Travel? - Duration: 6:49.

Hi there, it's Ernest from Trip Astute. In this video, we're reviewing the DJI Osmo

Mobile 2, and determining whether it's worth getting for your next trip.

(light chiming music)

We recently did a video on whether you need a better travel camera. In that video, I

suggested checking out gimbals and they seemed like a great way to improve the

stability of your videos. I've been really impressed with the three axis

gimbal stabilization found on my DJI Mavic Air drone, so I thought I'd try out

the latest mobile phone gimbal called the Osmo Mobile 2 that was just

released in January 2018. The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 is the second generation of

their mobile phone handheld gimbal, and it's actually a lot cheaper too. The

original used to run for $299 while the new model costs only $129 US dollars.

That's a pretty significant difference in price. Most of that comes from DJI's

switch from an all-metal design to a plastic build. However, the Osmo Mobile 2

also has some new capabilities that were not found in the original model, like the

ability to orient the phone in portrait mode rather than just landscape. Before I

get into what I like and dislike about the Osmo Mobile 2, I do want to add a

caveat that this is not a comprehensive tech review, but one that is geared more

for the traveler. If you want to see every feature and capability, then you'll

want to check out some of the great reviews posted by other tech reviewers

on YouTube. I've included some of my favorite ones below. So, let's start with

what I like about the DJI Osmo Mobile 2. Well to start, I think the build quality

seems to be solid. Even though the body is plastic, it still feels substantial.

And as with other DJI products, it seems very well-built and seems like it

would survive the wear and tear that would occur during travel. Another thing

that I like is the battery and charging capabilities. The battery is rated to

last 15 hours. Though even more interesting is the fact that you can

charge your mobile phone in the event that you need additional power. In that

case, the Osmo Mobile 2 can function like a spare battery charger. And on the

flip side, if you need to charge your Osmo Mobile 2 while away from a plug,

you can use a portable battery charger. The Osmo Mobile 2 also has some awesome

modes and features. The Active Track feature allows you to track a subject,

and from my casual testing, seems to work pretty well. The gimbal also has a Motion

Lapse mode which allows you to capture motion time lapses. This is an awesome

feature and can help take normal time lapses to the next level. So the

Osmo Mobile sounds great, right? Well, there are some serious issues.

First off, I knew going in that the original Osmo Mobile was known to have

issues with jittery video, particularly with mobile phones that have optical

image stabilization or OIS that can't be locked or disabled. I don't know the

technical ins and outs, but essentially the camera's OIS and the gimbal are in

conflict when it comes to stabilizing the video, which causes this weird

jittery effect. Unfortunately, this is still an issue with the Osmo Mobile 2.

What makes it even more weird is it seems to be more present when capturing

video using the DJI Go app. If you look at the footage, you'll notice that the

video seems to jitter whenever I take a step. However, when I use the native Apple

Camera app, then you'll see that the video seems smoother, though not

completely free of the jitter. You'll also notice that when I use a

front-facing camera, the video is much smoother. This is because the front

camera doesn't have OIS which means that the gimbal is able to do its job of

stabilizing the movement and vibration. I also did a side by side with the DJI Go

app and the native camera app while using the Osmo Mobile 2, and I honestly think

that the native app looks better, which is just strange since the DJI app is

supposed to be optimized for the gimbal. The differences are less apparent when

using the front-facing camera. This makes sense as the front camera doesn't have OIS

So, if your primary use of the Osmo Mobile 2 is more vlogging or selfies,

this might still be a viable option for you. The other thing that concerns me

with the Osmo Mobile 2 is its size and clunkiness when traveling. I honestly

didn't expect this to be an issue, but i couldn't figure out a good way to carry

it while I was walking around the LA Travel and Adventure Show. With a normal

camera, I can just have it strapped to my body. However, I think you would need some

kind of holster in order to carry the gimbal hands-free, which is something to

consider when traveling especially when you need to sign receipts or carry items.

Calibrating the gimbal with my phone was also another annoyance with the Osmo

Mobile 2. While I understand why I have to do it, I didn't realize that I have to

do it throughout the day, especially after holding the gimbal

under my arms. It might not seem like a big deal, but I feel like at least half

of the videos and photos that I capture when traveling are spontaneous, and I

don't know if I would be able to use the Osmo Mobile as quickly during those

kinds of situations. Lastly, using your phone while in the gimbal is cumbersome.

I realized that if I'm placing the phone in the Osmo Mobile 2, I'm gonna use it

primarily as a camera. But when traveling, I use my phone all the time to get maps,

information, or stay in contact. What I didn't anticipate was a difficulty of

having to pull out the phone each time I need to use it, and even using it while

still in the gimbal. So unfortunately, I think I'm going to return my Osmo Mobile

2. For me, the big deal breaker was the jittery video. From what I understand,

it's not DJI's fault. This is more of an issue with the OIS not being lockable on

certain phones. However, I do think that it would be better for DJI to put a label on

the box or a note on the website letting folks

know of the issue. It might be something that can be addressed

in a future app update, but for now, it's enough of an issue for me not to

recommend the unit. Personally, I would rather carry another camera that isn't

as cumbersome. Cameras like my Canon G7X have pretty good in-body stabilization,

though you have to learn to walk like a ninja. I'm also a bit more picky about my

video, so you might not care as much about the jitter, which can probably

smooth out using video editing software. If you do decide that the Osmo Mobile 2

is right for you, I recommend watching the DJI Support videos on setting up the

device. I made the mistake of relying on the instruction manual and didn't quite

get the calibration right. After watching the video, it made a lot more sense and I

was able to properly calibrate the gimbal. Do you have any experience with

the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 or any other gimbal? If so, I'd love to hear how you

carry them when traveling and whether you find them to be an essential part of

your travel camera gear. I've included links of some of the products shown in

this video. Trip Astute does get a percentage if you

Top 5 Judge Judy Most Savage Moments - Duration: 4:07.

Ooh Judge Judy… let me tell you guys she is a woman to look up to.

Shes sassy and successful.

Great combination.

Little fun fact for you guys did you know she makes 47 million dollars a year?

Yeah super impressive .. but want to know something more impressive she makes that kind

of money and only works 52 days out of the year.

Can you believe that?

Yeah this woman gets 313 day off every year and still makes 47 million dollars.

So when you calculate that her average workday adds up to 900 thousand dollars a day.

Goals.

But as you guys know along with all of her intellegence comes a sassy and savage attitude

and that's what were going to be talking about today.

Hey youtube im court mcginley and welcome to most amazing top 5.

Before we get started I want to know- would you describe yourself as more of a sassy or

sweet person.

Let me know down below.

Alright guys lets get started on our list of the top 5 judge judy most savage moments.

Coming in at our number 5 spot--Umm..- if ive learned one thing watching judge judy

its that you don't hit her with a ummm or uhhh- she cant stand it.

And shes not afraid to tell you that..

Yeah - you guys heard her- those arnt answers.

Common people- She only works 52 days out of the year she doesn't have time to waste

on your umm and uhhs.

But I mean what is shes expecting- some of the people who come to her court room are

there because clearly they arnt that intelligent.

So its propably something shes just going to have to continue to deal with.

In at number 4--Not as smart as I am- now judge judy is known for speaking her mind.

She doesn't care who these people are- what kind of background they come from- or where

they went to school.

If she thinks your stupid she'll tell you.

I remember when I was a teenage working at Cineplex our motto was the customers always

right.

Yeah let me tell you that wasn't always the case.

More often then not the customers didn't know what they were talking about.

It should be the employees always right were the one working there day in and day out we

know whats going on.

And let me tell you judge Judy understands this.

She knows shes always right and that some people are down right stupid.

Like this guy

at number 3-- Single parents- now I will say

judge judy does an amazing job at treating men and women equally.

If she sees a man mistreating a woman she calls him out.

And if she sees a woman mistreating a man she calls her out.

Just because shes a woman doesn't mean she always sides with the women.

But one thing she cant stand is men taking advantage or single mothers.

And these cases pop up a lot in her court room.

Take this case for example-

Yeah she definitely makes it known when someone is being a douchebag and trying to take advantage

of a single mother- and ive also seen her do the same for single fathers.

When theres kids involved and someone is trying to take advantage of the one person providing

for them she lets it be known that that person is as dick.

Coming in at our number 2 spot--Name calling- now I know when we were younger we were taught

that name calling was bad.

But judge judy is a grown woman and sometimes theres only one way to get through to idiots

– you just have to call them out.

And here is a selection of some of her favourite choice words.

And in at number 1--Calling people out- Now this has to be one of my favourites.

I love when people are acting like a fool and don't think Judys going to call them

out on it.

Look at this.

https://youtu.be/bH57MnJIjkc 2:53- 3:00.

So from what I gather this woman is going against an ex of some sort.

Shes saying he cheats all the time- as if that fact even matters in the case- judge

judy doesn't take cases where people try to sue each other for cheating.

So Judge judy says to her- are you trying to justify to me the fact that you're an

idiot?

And then the woman just looks so shocked like she cant believe what she just heard.

You know youre on judge judy right?

And there you have it that's our list of the top 5 judge judy most savage moments.

Thank you guys for watching.

Don't forget to show us some love by giving this video a big thumbs up and ill catch you

in the next one.

David O. On Gringo & How He Stole The Role From A White Character | PullUp - Duration: 9:08.

What's up, guys? I'm Jamila Mustafa from B.E.T. Social

- and I'm here with… - David Oyelowo and I'm pulling up.

Now, in this film, it is a dark comedy with a little bit of action

and a little bit of trapping. This is when a law-abiding citizen

takes a step on the dark side.

Thanks so much, Mr. Oyelowo. So, let me hop into it.

So, Selma was more serious, Martin Luther King, I mean,

it was a movement piece. This is straight comedy

and you are hilarious. So, tell us a little bit

about the process and what was it like on set.

Well, you know, having played Dr. King and other, you know,

more dramatic roles, I wanted to switch it up

and this script came along, made me laugh so much

and that indicated to me that it was something that hopefully

the audience would find funny as well, but it was not written

as a black character. It was actually written as a white character.

His name was Harold Salinger originally and I really wanted to do it.

So I pursued the role. I went to the director, he embraced me

as that character and then we pushed it even further

and made him a Nigerian immigrant and so he's now

called Harold Soyinka in the film and, yeah, we had an amazing time

shooting it in Mexico with some extraordinary actors

as well and, yeah, it was a lot of fun.

All right, so, in this film, you appear with some awesome

actors and actresses like Charlize Theron. Who was the funniest on set?

Oh, wow, that's a very good question. Charlize is incredibly funny,

partly because she's so inappropriate and she gets a lot of fun out of the fact

that I'm quite naïve in certain areas

so she makes me laugh a lot. Joel was incredibly funny as well

but Sharlto Copley who I play opposite quite a bit,

he is amazing with improvisation and a lot of our interaction

in the film is based on the script, but we would riff on it

and he would just come up with some great, sort of hilarious scenes

and that was a lot to do with him.

Let's talk about it is hard to do your job when you have

- a horrible boss, right? - Yes.

And in this film, I saw the eyes roll because your boss was nasty.

He was two-timing, lying, backstabbing, I ain't even gonna talk about it.

- All of it. - He's not a good friend nor a boss.

- That's right. - In your real life,

have you ever had a horrible boss and how did you deal with him?

Oh, that's a good question.

When I was a teenager, I worked for a very famous

fast food company that will remain nameless.

Was it Mickey D? I ain't gonna say nothing.

- I couldn't possibly say. - It's a lot.

And I was, I would wash all the utensils in the back and, uh,

one day, there was this brush by the sink and it was an industrial brush

and I thought, oh, okay, I'll use that brush just to wash everything

and I finished all the utensils and then my boss

comes along and goes why is that brush there.

I said, well, I just saw it there. I used it to wash everything.

He said, that's a toilet brush.

And I said, I, I washed it and they'd already been using

it to cook food and he literally said...

- this stays between us. - Ooh!

That's not a good boss. I should've been fired.

I should've been fired but,

yeah, so, I don't eat at that famous food chain anymore.

That's a plot twist! I hate it.

So, in the movie, you're a rep for a huge pharmaceutical company

and so I want to ask you kind of an off-the-wall question

but it's something that I think about often. So if you could put

a behavior or emotion in a pill, right, like maybe empathy

or maybe patience, what would you put in a pill form?

Wow, that's such a great question.

I, the attribute I admire the most in humanity is self-sacrifice

and that's what it would be because I think if everyone was thinking

about others more than themselves,

the world would be an entirely different place.

Hmm, what are your viewers and your audience and your fans

going to learn about you in this movie

that they did not know about you before?

They will learn that I'm not Dr. King.

I think that's certainly one thing, and that, you know,

I love doing comedy. There's a lot of action in the film as well

and there's a little bit of social commentary.

I wanted to play this role as Nigerian because I'm of Nigerian parentage

and I watched my parents as immigrants in the UK

also have a kind of wide-eyed, hopeful attitude that people

took advantage of and that's what happens with Harold in this film.

So it's very much rooted in experience.

There was a lot of stealing in this movie.

A lot of things were stolen in this movie, a lot of crime.

What is one thing, if someone took from you, that you would lose it,

you would go through hell and hot water to get it back?

Oh, wow. The thing you cannot touch in my life,

in any way, is my six-year-old daughter.

Like, if you even stole her candy from her, we would have

such a big problem. Like, that right there

is just sacred in every possible way.

So that's how to get me murderous.

Hmm. So, in the new movie, It, that's, well, no,

A Wrinkle in Time, you're playing the voice of It.

What was it like playing something that's pure evil?

Ava Duvernay is like a sister to me and we have basically

determined that there is not going to be a single thing she ever directs

that I'm not involved in some way.

We started with Middle of Nowhere, then we did Selma together,

and now she's doing Wrinkle in Time and so she basically

coached me as to how, you know, the direction she wanted me to go.

True evil actually is not what It may seem.

Actually, true evil disguises itself, you know, and it comes

at you in a way that is attractive and so that is true evil,

when you are able to worm your way into someone's space and then

disseminate them and so, in many ways, that's what we're trying to do.

In this film, you master the scream.

I mean, there was a lot of scream in this film.

Now, is this something that you had to practice?

Is this an inner, where did this scream come from, David?

That's a good question. One of the screams that you're describing.

Yeah, there's several, is when I'm about to be injected

by a tracking device and this thing was the size of something

you'd inject a cow a with and I'm not good with needles.

So the scream you hear in the film is what is actually going on

inside whenever I'm being injected and I'm trying to play it cool.

So I just let myself let it out for the film.

Now what about the on-the-phone-cigarette? What scream,

where did that scream come from? Because when you guys hear that,

- you'll know what I'm talking about. - You want all the grades of scream?

I just want to know about the cigarette one now and then I'm done with the scream.

There were levels to the scream.

Well, part of acting is imagining what something would feel like.

Can you imagine what it must feel like to have a cigarette burn on your wrist?

And you did it perfect.

Thank you. I just did what I would imagine that, trust me,

I don't go method to the point whereby, you know what, let me just...

[screaming]

I didn't do that.

Oh my goodness! One last thing, so, in the film, although it was

a lot of comedy and we say dark comedy because it was very raw,

also there was such an element, an underline of betrayal

in the film from a lot of different people who you were close to.

And your character, he was not a pushover or a stepover

because you saw him kind of take the heroics there.

But what is some similarities in how you deal with betrayal

and maybe hurt in your character

- and in your real life as well? - Well, the main theme

of the movie is does it pay to be good

and you watch the character really question that because I think,

you know, indisputably, he's a good person and that's why people

are able to take advantage of him and you see him on that

knife edge of he could go one way or another but he chooses

the path that, personally, I would choose. Even though people may betray you,

people may do wrong by you, ultimately, I would want to believe

that I will stay in the place of being a good person

because I think that will, and does pay in the long term

and so that basically is the journey you see and that's what I saw

in the script that really drew me to it. I felt, you know, this is,

yes, it's an action comedy. It's a fun ride but, ultimately,

it's also a kind of a morality tale about,

should we be good or should we go to the dark side?

Thank you, guys so much. Thank you for pulling up.

New Jupiter Discoveries from the Juno Mission! - Duration: 6:11.

[♩INTRO]

Back in July 2016, NASA's Juno spacecraft entered orbit around Jupiter.

New missions are always exciting,

but this one was especially cool because

Juno had a different orbit than previous missions to Jupiter.

The spacecraft is looping around the planet's poles,

getting as close as 3500 kilometers above the cloud tops

which is really close when you consider how big Jupiter is.

The mission will keep going for at least another few months,

but scientists are already picking apart the data from those super close flybys.

They're studying places we haven't had access to to until now,

including Jupiter's interior.

And a group of papers published this week in the journal Nature

are sharing some of those key findings.

As a gas giant, Jupiter is mostly made out of fluids.

It also rotates pretty quickly, experiencing only 10-hour days.

Because of all that,

astronomers expected Jupiter's mass to be distributed pretty uniformly.

But that's not the case.

These recent findings from Juno showed us

that its mass distribution actually varies depending on the latitude.

It's caused by streams of fluid,

both in Jupiter's atmosphere and in its interior,

up to 3000 kilometers below the cloud level.

We also learned that, below that depth, fluid just doesn't flow the same way.

Instead, a mix of hydrogen and helium rotates together,

almost like a solid body.

Of course, because of all the clouds,

we can't actually look into Jupiter's interior.

That would just be too easy.

Instead, scientists used Juno to measure how Jupiter's gravitational pull

changes as the spacecraft performs its flyby.

As Juno moves around Jupiter, it gets closer to different parts of the planet.

Those different parts have different amounts of mass,

which means gravity there will be a little stronger or weaker.

That will either cause Juno to speed up or slow down.

Then, scientists can then measure those changes in speed

to tell how Jupiter's mass is distributed.

This new Juno data is two orders of magnitude more accurate

than previous scans, and it'll help us better model what's happening

in Jupiter and in other fluid giants.

And there were even more findings, too.

One additional paper reported on the discovery of multiple cyclones

in both the north and south polar regions.

Using the infrared JIRAM and optical JunoCam,

Juno snapped photos of 15 separate storms,

observing them over seven months.

There were eight storms rotating around one storm in the north,

and five rotating around a storm in the south.

They all range between 4000 and 7000 kilometers in diameter,

and both sets of storms are arranged like polygons, which is cool.

Of course, it's still a mystery how they originally formed

and how they didn't manage to merge together

over the months they were observed.

It just means that there are still a lot more questions

astronomers need answers to.

And thankfully, Juno is sure to provide many more answers.

In other planetary news,

astronomers published a paper in The Astronomical Journal

announcing that a faraway exoplanet

has way more water in its atmosphere than we thought.

To figure it out, they had to create the most complete atmospheric profile

that's possible with current technology.

The planet is WASP-39b, which was discovered back in 2011.

It's about 700 light-years from Earth and orbits a star

with a mass similar to the Sun's, although it's older and a bit cooler.

39b's mass is similar to Saturn's,

but that's about the only thing they have in common.

The most obvious difference is this planet doesn't have any rings.

But it's also much puffier.

It's actually one of the least dense planets ever discovered.

It's so puffy because it orbits really closely to its star

In fact, it only takes 4 days to complete one orbit!

All that intense heat fluffs up a bunch of the planet's matter.

39b is also tidally locked,

which means only one side of the planet ever faces its star.

But powerful winds help move the heat around, so it's fairly evenly distributed.

The planet has a toasty equilibrium temperature of over 1100 Kelvin.

Because 39b doesn't really have any obscuring clouds in its upper atmosphere,

the Hubble Space Telescope could capture a good breakdown

of the atmosphere's composition.

It did that by looking at starlight.

Specifically, it looked at light from its host star

that traveled through the planet's atmosphere on its way to Earth.

Different molecules absorb different wavelengths of light,

so by looking at the wavelengths of starlight that are missing in the data,

astronomers can tell what kind of gases this atmosphere has,

and in what abundance.

What Hubble found was a lot of water vapor.

Like, three times more than we find in Saturn's atmosphere,

which was totally unexpected.

They figured they'd find some water, but nowhere near as much as they did.

This suggests 39b was pummeled by a lot of icy material when it was forming.

Still, based on what we know about planet formation,

that would've only been possible

if the planet formed much farther from its star than it is now.

And, like with any good paper, that only brings up more questions.

Welcome to science.

This study adds to the complex list of ways planets can develop,

and it suggests there are a lot of star systems with different stories than ours.

As we collect more data through research like this,

we'll just keep learning more.

And don't worry -- there's more to learn about 39b, too.

When the James Webb Space Telescope finally launches

which will hopefully happen next year

it'll be able to measure how much carbon 39b has in its atmosphere.

It'll also be able to see which carbon-based molecules

that carbon is locked up in.

That'll help astronomers pin down

where the exactly the planet should've formed relative to its star.

By better understanding how other star systems formed,

we'll be able to answer questions about our own neighborhood, too.

In November, we launched SciShow Finds:

a corner of the internet where we've collected artifacts of the universe

that fill us with wonder.

We were thrilled that you all cared about these special things

as much as we did, so we're doing it again.

If you're a citizen scientist, I picked out this PocketLab,

which is exactly what it sounds like,

a lab for your pocket

that helps you collect data out in the world and draw your own conclusions.

If you get a PocketLab, please, please let us know

what observations you make with it.

We'd love to hear about your experiments.

And longtime SciShow videomaker, Sarah Meismer,

has made this beloved lapel pin.

Get it?

Bee-loved?

It's a bee.

In a heart.

Don't bees deserve some more love?

Just like last time, we have a limited number of these special finds,

so we'll keep them up until we run out or find new special things

that foster our love for science.

So head to SciShowFinds.com to learn more

and know that when you buy something from SciShow Finds,

you're supporting the people who make and find these cool things

and supporting SciShow!

Jülide, dear,

Have we put an order for the mercerized thread this month?

- No, sis. - Alright then, I'll write them down.

How am I going to tell this now?

Yikes!

Oh, Veysel, you're here!

- Welcome, brother Veysel. - Veysel, any news?

Veysel, what happened there? What's the news? Tell us!

Veysel, why don't you talk? Come in, have a seat and tell us!

Or is it bad news, huh?

Veysel, tell us something! We're dying to know!

Did you get to Yahya?

Yes, my Tülay. There's the news.

About Yahya,

I mean the Yahya that we know that he was dead, I've found out all the truth about him.

Or was he alive?

I wish he was, Tülay, I wish.

Yahya didn't die.

I mean, he's dead,

but not as we know of, with natural causes.

He didn't die of natural causes?

Yes.

I don't know if it's related to Melek,

which is probably related,

but Yahya was murdered.

Somebody killed Yahya.
