Woman Has Out-Of-Body-Experiences At Will

by Christina Sarich

If youve ever had the experience of floating outside your physical body, with the ability

to observe all that is going on around you, youve had an OBE, or an out-of-body-experience.

Most people only experience OBEs when theyve entered a drug-induced hypnagogic state, or

when near death, thus the term, Near-Death-Experience, or NDE, which is closely linked to an OBE.

However, one woman says that she can have an OBE at will.

An OBE is essentially a form of astral projection.

Astral projection is a willful out-of-body-experience that one might enter into when in a meditative

or altered state of consciousness.

Astral projection is a powerful experience because the soul is thought to temporarily

separate from the physical form, and thus experience a higher level of conscious awareness

and understanding.

An OBE allows a big picture experience like few other things we can do while still

in manifest form.

Most people are unable to experience astral projection at will, because their brain wave

states are not conducive to the experience.

As proven by a woman who was the subject of a recent experiment, however, scientists have

now mapped the brain regions that seem to allow an OBE to occur, and what allow one

woman to have an OBE whenever she cares to.

A psychology graduate student from the University of Ottawa found out that her school was researching

OBEs and told researchers that she could have these voluntarily, usually before sleep.

She appeared surprised that not everyone could experience this, wrote the scientists

in a study describing the case, published in February in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience.

The woman says that she developed this ability as a child, when at nap time, instead of sleeping,

she would experience her body floating above herself.

She continued to perform this act until into her 20s when she came forward, assuming everyone

had the ability.

Scientists have termed this an extra-corporeal experience (ECE), instead of an OBE, but

it means the same thing.

Researchers also detail that OBEs can be caused by brain traumas, sensory deprivation,

near-death experiences, dissociative and psychedelic drugs, dehydration, sleep, and electrical

stimulation of the brain, among others, but that they can also be deliberately induced

by some.

So, is this grad student simply hallucinating, or is there something more to an OBE brain

state?

Scientists liken an OBE to a dream state, and the woman did say she is able to will

herself into an astral projection just before sleep.

So, is this a skill we could all develop?

Mainstream scientists seem oblivious to the fact that certain tones, light frequencies,

and pulses can be used to induce a subtle body experience.

There are many published references to successful OBEs brought about by inducing astral projection

frequencies.

Using these mind altering tones and intensities, in conjunction with monaural

beats, binaural beats, and isochronic beats, have been shown to aid in initiating the experience.

Brainwave states entered into by master meditators, for example, like Lambda/Epsilon (0.5 Hz or

less/100 Hz or higher are understood as the optimal state of mystical consciousness and

a gateway to multidimensional astral travel.

A white paper by Dr. Joe Dispanza elaborates upon these brain wave states in more detail.

It is highly possible that the grad student able to will herself into an OBE has simply

developed, from childhood, the ability to shift into a brainwave state that allows an

OBE to occur.

The Monroe Institute, wrote a body of work titled Journeys Out of the Body in 1971

in which a detailed how to astrally project ones self in seven steps, and among the

steps is entering a relaxed, almost dreamlike state.

Season in Pictures: Daniele De Rossi reviews 2017-18 - Duration: 11:01.

This is right at the start,

perhaps the first day because I see Pinzolo in the background.

We realised straight away how the gaffer wanted to do things with his backroom team.

Huge motivation and high intensity in training

and we carried that with us throughout the year.

It wasn't easy to come in and take over a team that had picked up 87 points the season before,

which I think was Roma's best-ever points haul in Serie A.

For him to come in at a big club for the first time and do what he did,

to come in like that and achieve the results we went on to achieve

shows that the club got their choice spot on.

This is the first match of the season

and the player in the picture scored the winning goal.

I think he helped to improve the team's mentality

so credit to him and credit to those responsible for bringing him in.

I've known him for years but having played with him this season

I understand why he's had such an amazing career

and he's still performing at the highest levels.

With his professionalism, personality and technical ability, he's a notch above the rest.

He also coped well with the atmosphere in Rome,

which isn't easy having played for Lazio years ago.

This guy scored close to 40 goals last season.

He didn't score so many this year

but I think there were some games he won for us single-handedly,

although it's not right to say he won them single-handedly

because you always win and lose together

but he did what you expect from top-class players: he carried the team.

He really drove us on, with his physical presence, his mindset and his attitude on the pitch.

I was one of those who thought it strange to spend 10, 12 million or whatever it was on a goalkeeper

when we had Szczesny.

I didn't know anything about him.

My best friend keeps reminding me that after just one month I said he was world-class.

He wasn't even playing but I said he was world-class.

You could see it.

I've seen lots of goalkeepers who are capable of pulling off incredible saves,

who you can't score against in training but when it comes to a real match it's different.

This was an unforgettable night for Romanisti.

This was the match where we realised we had what it takes to go a long way in the Champions League.

We didn't win the match but we probably deserved to.

It was a taster of what we could do in Europe.

It made everything seem different.

Perotti had a superb game.

Aleks and Edin were huge as always.

That's when we started to see how far we might be able to go.

In the background you can see our travelling fans.

They and the ones at home celebrating our goals

were really important for us this season.

This was a very intense match, as it always is.

I think there's still a big difference in quality and we're the better side

but games like this are always tough to play in, really tense.

It's the ideal game for the style of football the coach wants us to play,

being really aggressive in the opposition half.

We scored twice playing like that.

We chased and harried them throughout the second half, while the first half was quite even.

We wrapped up the game with a couple of moments of individual magic.

You can harry as much as you want but unless you have player like Radja

who can stick it in the bottom corner from 30 yards for you

it can finish 0-0.

It was a combination of things: the coach getting us organised

and a top player producing the winner, as he often does on the big occasions.

We grew a lot closer to our fans again

and it was hard not to see it.

Actually, it was more them coming closer to us

because we've always got on with our jobs,

with differing results but always doing our best.

This season we really gave them a reason to be proud, and they were.

This photo is very simple: it's our name in our Curva.

Some people might call it minimalist

but it says everything that I want and they want:

the stadium with the stands full, our colours, our name.

It's great that we reformed this bond between us and them

and it bodes well for the future.

Here we'd just found out, or were just about to find out, that we had topped the group

after Chelsea and Atletico drew.

It gave us a boost for the rest of our Champions League campaign.

Topping a group like that isn't really something you expect of Roma,

although it hurts to admit it,

but we managed to impose our game and win the group,

which probably meant facing an easier last-16 tie.

Not seeing him out there with the armband…

He may have played less in the last few years

but he was always there on the bench and in training

so it was something new and shocking for a Roma fan

and certainly for us players.

It was the first season without him as a player

and it was difficult so it makes me even happier that things went so well

both in terms of results and the atmosphere we created

because it wasn't easy, having lost an icon that meant so much to so many people,

to rekindle that enthusiasm without him and his magic on the field.

This is one of my favourites.

I think he's a great lad.

We've probably said no more than 10 words to each other all season

because he says little more than 'hello', 'goodbye' and 'enjoy your meal'.

But you can see in his eyes that he's got the right attitude.

He wants to learn and his feet are on the ground.

I hope he's the future of Roma because he's an incredible player.

He's just 21 or whatever but he really took off in the second half of the season

and I think he could have a big part to play in our future.

I hope he does because he's a really good lad.

This was a big moment, a great moment.

It was very hard because Shakhtar are a great side.

It was the first of a series of games where we showed people how good we are.

The goal he scored from that glorious ball from Strootman in the second half,

us hanging on at the end,

him holding the ball up for us,

us maintaining our focus at the back

giving little or nothing away to Shakhtar.

It was the perfect game.

1-0 isn't as exciting as the 3-0 win against Barcelona

but if I was a coach I'd want my team to play like that.

We were focused and determined to reach the quarter-finals,

which we did and I think deservedly too.

This picture makes me laugh because…

because it's everything I love about the game.

Manolas always makes me laugh anyway

as you guys who work in Trigoria know.

He's quite unique.

His performances and behaviour were exemplary this season.

He's always shouting and stirring up trouble in the dressing room

but he's friendly and funny besides being one of the best defenders in the world in my opinion.

The best thing about this pic though is the guys in the orange tops.

It shows the strength of our team.

There's Pellegrini hugging one of our fitness coaches,

Maxine Gonalons with fire in his eyes.

It shows our strength.

People like Patrik and Gerson who perhaps didn't have a big role to play in that game

but you can see in their eyes how much it meant for us to go through,

to win the game and make the dream come true.

We gave that dream to the fans.

We needed a miracle, the perfect game.

We needed an early goal and another not too long afterwards…

We did all that.

If we played it again, we might not win 3-0

but if we played the first leg again we wouldn't lose 4-1.

A group of friends.

There are people who you might think are less important to the group but they all play their part.

Having this togetherness in the dressing room

and guys who want to make a difference when they come on…

That attitude helps you perform well when you do come on.

This is the end of our dream.

What you say to anyone in that situation and especially Radja

is to look up and see what's in front you: the entire Curva Sud, the entire stadium applauding us.

That's what helps you to kick on.

That's where you start sowing the seeds for future success,

which hopefully for me will come soon because I don't have much time left!

It's a platform we can build on over the next decade.

This was a huge win because it virtually secured our place in the Champions League.

We needed another point but we realised we were

all but certain of returning to the Champions League next year.

Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson - There Must Be More To Life Than This - Duration: 3:08.

There must be more to life than this

There must be more to life than this

How do we cope in a world without love

Mending all those broken hearts

And tending to those crying faces

There must be more to life than living/killing

There must be more that meets the eye

Why should it be just a case of black or white

There must be more to life than this

Why is this world so full of hate

People dying everywhere

And we destroy what we create

People fighting for their human rights

But we just go on saying c'est la vie

So this is life

There must be more to life than killing

A better way for us to survive

What good is life if in the end we all must die

There must be more to life than this

There must be more to life than this

There must be more to life than this

I live in hope for a world filled with love

Then we can all just live in peace

There must be more to life

Much more to life

There must be more to life

More to life than this

6 Things Empaths Go Through Daily That Most People Never Notice - Duration: 3:31.

6 Things Empaths Go Through Daily That Most People Never Notice

In simple way, empaths have the ability to understand the feelings of others, and it

seems to be quite popular nowadays.

Lots of people claim they're an empath, or to be exact, everyone is trying to be more

empathic to better serve their community.

Empaths have completely different character than most other people.

True empaths are even different since they are able to perform special ability such as

mind-reading.

It is definitely weird or even seemingly impossible.

However, they really can do that.

Highly empathic people know that they are quite different from the others.

Something that makes them different is their sensitivity to feel what other people feel.

Because of their characteristics, empaths can sometimes feel as if they are cursed,

however, if they can understand it better, being in tune with the energy of the world

is actually a blessing.

Sure, it's not easy to live in the world where the majority of people are less sensitive,

or otherwise normal, therefore there are somethings an empath do differently.

#1 - Extremely high curiosity

Empaths are basically deep learners.

They want to know how this world works, and they are open to information about the existence

of life in this world.

Their questions are usually formed in words depending on personality types they carry.

However, whatever they say, they are actually meant it just for fulfilling their needs of

knowing.

#2 - Strong intuition

They take action based on intuition, and they are basically not afraid of making decision

based on intuition.

Some people may find it irrational.

However, it is actually based on pattern that empaths have learned for quite a long time.

#3 - Feeling others

Empaths manage their feelings to understand others.

They really can be someone else since they basically can feel others physically.

If you think that other people can do that too, you will notice that sometimes people

wrongly judge people in a conversation while their intention is to ask.

Empaths also do this, but their conversation partner will not notice that.

#4 - Managing their environment

Empaths need a comfortable place to live since they also have life to live.

Living in a crowded place, for example, is difficult for empaths since they get constant

exposure of pains, sadness, and desperations that people carry.

#5 - Fully present

They are great learner, and that is why they always engage in a conversation.

In a social interaction, empaths are really good friend to have.

#6 - Inspiring

This is what makes empaths loveable.

They have ability to not only understand people but also inspire others.

They provide solutions through advices and suggestions, and most of them will work well.

Well, those are some of the things that empaths do differently.

Booktube Watching Tag! - Duration: 11:00.

Hey y'all! My name is Priscilla and welcome back to my channel!

Today I'm gonna be doing the booktube watching tag.

And I was tagged by Roxanne over at The Novel Sanctuary. So thank you so much for tagging me!

I really like these questions because I'm super nosy and I like to know what people are watching.

So I thought that I'd go ahead and give this one a go. These are questions are related

to booktube and watching and so let's go ahead and give some channels some shoutouts!

The first question is- How many channels are you subscribed to?

And the last time that I counted, I'm subscribed to 177 channels.

And if anybody knows an easier way of how to count to all these without actually, physically, counting all

these, please let me know! Because that was a lot!

And I can't imagine how some of y'all counted over 300 channels. But most of these are book related.

I do follow a couple of other different kinds of channels but I would say about 95% of them are bookish.

For instance some of the random things that I follow are

related to food and cooking. I follow some makeup channels.

I follow some bullet journal...journaling/drawing channels.

I also follow some art painting kind of channels. And...anything else?

A handful of lifestyle channels. So a good mix of the mix but mostly book related.

The next question...the next question is when [do] you normally watch booktube?

I watch booktube pretty sporadically during the work week - mostly during the work day, actually.

My work schedule is very flexible and I'm not micro-managed.

And I'm very spoiled in that I have three monitors at work. And I really only need two so my third monitor

is use primarily for entertainment. So I have to have great discipline and

actually log out of youtube many times because I could get away with watching YouTube all day if I could...

and I can! So I could. But I usually use my third monitor for music or podcasts or YouTube or Netflix.

So I watch a lot during the day but this is also why I don't tend to watch on the weekends.

I like to reserve the weekends for spending time with my family and for reading [and filming].

So if you post a video on Friday, I'm not being a jerk and ignoring it.

I just add it to my watch later and watch it during the work week.

So don't take offense if I don't reply immediately to your Friday post.

The next question is - How do you balance booktube watching, reading, and making your own videos?

And I'm honestly still trying to figure this out.

I would like to say that I prioritize reading over everything but I think these days I actually spend more

hours watching booktube than reading.

And that's unfortunate to say but I like booktube and I like to watch all your videos.

I will say that making my own videos definitely takes the backseat to the other two.

If I don't feel like filming a video, I won't.

And there were times where I'll just skip a week and won't post anything

because I didn't feel inspired to film anything.

And that's okay! But I definitely do try to prioritize reading.

Even though if you were to look at my stats, by hours, I probably watch a lot more.

The next question is - Is there a difference between videos you like watching and videos you like making?

Yes there is. I like to make wrap ups...I like to make reviews...actually surprisingly...

if you would have asked me 6 months ago I probably would have said

I'm scared to death to make book reviews. But I actually like making them.

And...I like to watch to watch wrap ups and book reviews but I also really like

rants and I really like...like the cinematic kind of videos that I'm not able to make.

Nancy over at... what is her book channel name?

There's this...there's this...I do like to watch like lifestyle cinematic videos.

And I can't remember her channel name at the moment. But I'll make sure to link it somewhere

but she makes the most beautiful cinematic videos that I really love watching.

And I also really like to watch like...slow draw...drawing videos.

But, in terms of bookish things, I really like to watch rants and controversial kinds of videos and discussions

that I don't think I could do on my own.

I don't really like sitting in front of a camera without preparation or being

prepared so that's why I don't like making discussions.

And I also don't like to focus on negative things in books or negative things in life, really.

So that's why I don't really do any rants but those are really fun to watch.

And you really get a good sense of someone based on not only what they like but what they

don't like. So I like to watch those too.

And the next question is - Who was the first booktuber you subscribed to and do you still watch htem?

I would say yes but she doesn't really post a lot anymore so I don't know if that's entirely true.

But I followed...her first... the first channel that I found was her.

At the time her channel name was Beauty... what is it? Beauty Books Ameriie.

I don't know if she's just Ameriie now but she's a singer R&B singer. But she also does a

lot of book related and makeup videos so she does kind of a mix of things.

But the first video I saw from her was her Slytherin recommendations video about a

year and a half ago...maybe now two years ago. I'm still fairly new to booktube but

that video blew my mind becuase I had no idea that book related videos were a thing.

And I had no idea that Slytherin recommendation videos were a thing.

So that completely sent me down the rabbit hole of booktube. And shortly after I think I

also followed Book Riot or Rincey Reads. I can't remember which one but those two

were also the ones that I follow[ed] fairly early on. And that I still really enjoy watching now.

Next is - Who is the most recent book tuber you subscribed to?

And I think it's probably Heffa. I think that's her name.

She changed her name. But I think her name is Heffa. And her videos are so hilarious and unapologetic.

She doesn't post very often and honestly the content of her videos

is very sporadic so I couldn't even tell you what kind of booktuber she is [or] what kind of book she likes.

But she's hilarious so I'll link her...one of her videos below.

I also recently followed Drunk Book Reviews. And these are book reviews while drunk and they're hilarious!

It's kind of like drunk history but the book version.

And she's also very, fairly new so I'll make sure to post one of her recent videos.

Next is - Share an old favorite booktuber.

And for this one I'm gonna shout out perpetualpages.

And they've been making videos for many years so they're not actually old

but they've been on booktube for a while.

And perpetual pages is the first Latinx booktuber that I found that focused particularly on queer books.

And that was very very nice to find early on and I still very much participate...

I still very much appreciate their videos.

So I'll make sure to link that video below or their most recent video below.

The next question is - Share a new favorite booktuber.

And for this I'm gonna mention Michelle from Challenge Thyshelf.

I've really been enjoying all of her videos recently. I think she did the most, great take on the my pleasure booktag.

And she talked a little bit about like narcissism and celebrity culture

with the Picture of Dorian Gray that I really loved.

And I'm also gonna shout out Debbie from The Book Ponderer.

Debbie and I have been doing our first buddy read together and she's been such a joy to read with!

But also I've really been enjoying all of her videos as well! So I'll make sure to link one of her videos below.

Next is - What is one of your booktube pet peeves?

In general, I'll say booktube elitism. But for instance, an example of this would be -

when given an opportunity, you immediately bash YA and generalize YA.

Which I myself have been guilty of doing in the past but I'm trying to be very particular about the

language that I use when I am critiquing a book.

But I feel like many times you'll hear someone say oh the writing is very much like YA. Or it's trash like YA.

Or it's not as good because it sounds like YA.

And I kind of view YA is more of a demographic than a genre. Even though we

talk about it as a genre and everyone knows what you mean when you say YA.

But I just feel like those stark over generalizations are made so often that I

wish there was more specific language in what you mean. Like use your words

and don't always bash something because there are good books in YA just like

there are good books an adult. And there's bad books in YA just like there

are bad books under the adult umbrella. So that's just a pet peeve of mine.

Also probably too much or too little editing. I've been victim of this as well.

I don't like very, choppy edits where you can't get a full grasp of what someone is

saying if they chop off words. I don't really mind too much the whiplash in

different positions but just I want to be able to hear everything you have to say.

And too little editing...I tend to space out and get easily distracted if a video is over 30 minutes.

But just I would prefer if some videos had a little bit of editing. Unless you're just a rock star

and are able to fully engage with someone for 30 minutes. Like kudos to you

but I know very few people [that] can do it and I'm not talking about anyone in particular but just don't don't...

maybe look into some editing if you're gonna take like 10 seconds to grab a

book every time and show it on camera.

Next is - What have you learned from other booktubers?

The things that I just mentioned. But also I think the importance of lighting.

I think that... that is something early on that I learned was gonna be very important.

And that is why my filming schedule is very strained because I use natural lighting.

I like to film during the day and I also like to film when it's fairly quiet in my house.

So it's pretty much reserved to Sunday mornings. But lighting is super important and if things look nice people

are more likely gonna click on your channel and gonna listen to what you have to say.

Also sound is really important so I learned to lock my dog downstairs

and to make sure the house is quiet when I'm filming.

And the last question is - tag some people. Tag some of your favorite booktubers.

I'm gonna make sure to tag people in the description below

as well as I'll be notifying you so you can do this tag because I'm super nosy

and I want to know what you watch!

So make sure to look out for that but that's all the questions and that's all I have for this video.

So thank you so much for watching and I'll catch you the next one!

Bye!

yourself every time you meet them that we need to gradually get out from their

deadly circle as it is fairly impossible to just run away like nothing happened

out on how you make it work somehow one thing for sure

living with a narcissist be it siblings parent or you marry to a narcissist can

actually drive you mad and that's no understatement for starter when you show

the slightest bit of disinterest toward narcissist he or she notices and starts

becoming irritated over time the irritation grows because the lack of

possession which is you from there things will become more and more

complicated in any case if you want to know more about living with a narcissist

lives in different dimension even though they are living on the same ground this

causes a great stir when you talk to them

narcissists will perceive negative image of reality that other people experience

that is why you may be confused and even angry with them

number three negativity is their best friends

people with narcissists are toxic they actually will kill you slowly by

throwing negativity to your lives after you are in the circle they want you to

look subordinate through many tactics it is important to stay away from this kind
