Waching daily May 29 2018

Well, we're on.

We got one.

That springtime, not much beats that lipless crankbait.

Right off this point, lipless crankbait.

Oh, there's another one.

Oh, yeah.

Nice fat, healthy, I'm liking this lipless crankbait right now.

Oh, I missed it.

Oh, got it there.

Oh, my God, look at this.

Double hook!

Look at that.

This is insane, guys.

Hey, folks, Captain Mikey of SawGrass Bassing, coming to you from KastKing and BassResource.com.

From beautiful north...well, it's still Florida.

Yay, it may not be the most beautiful day out here in Florida, but it's still my favorite

time of year.

We're talking post-spawn springtime.

One of the greatest times to be out here on the water.

These bass are just wrapping up their spawn.

There's still a few of them sitting out there, but the majority of them, they're done.

Yeah, they're done.

They've done all their dirty deeds, now it's time for them to have a little bit of fun

and to feed up.

Those big girls, they put in all that work, all that time and all that energy on those

beds, and now that their job's done, they left the boys at home.

And now they're hungry, and they're out there looking to have a little bit of fun.

They're out there meeting up all their girlfriends, saying "It's time.

Let's go find a new dancing partner out here."

Some of them like to waltz, some of them like to tango, some of 'em just like rock.

Those big girls can be hungry.

They're out there patrolling, they're munching on shad, they're munching on bluegill, all

those smaller baitfish that are now moving up and starting to spawn themselves.

Well, those big girls, they're looking to eat, and that's what they're doing out there

right now.

That's right.

They're actively, aggressively searching down food, trying to fill those bellies that spent

all that energy during the spawn.

And honestly, when you wanna dance with the big girls, there's only one lure for me.

It's my all-time favorite, transitional bait, from post-spawn to springtime, you can not

beat the lipless lover.

You ladies want to dance?

You want to dance with me?

You want to dance with the lipless lover?

Oh, yes, we're talking lipless crankbaits, guys.

It is a phenomenal bait, it's got so much action, so much activity, and so much energy

put inside that bait, that is exactly what those big girls that are looking to dance

are looking for.

You can cover so much area, so much water with the lipless crankbait.

You can move it fast, you can yo-yo it, there is so many varieties that you can do.

From shallow to deep, it's up to you how you want to make that lure dance.

Now, when you're talking a world of lipless lures, there's a huge variety of 'em, and

almost every single lure manufacturer has their own version of a lipless crankbait.

And no two lipless crankbaits are created equal.

Each one has actually got its own design, and it's got it's own dance steps in mind.

I'm gonna to explain to you why each one does what they do, and what the special dance steps

truly are.

Because if you can really teach your lipless crankbait how to tango, you'll have those

big girls lined up in no time to dance with you.

No two lipless crankbaits are the same whatsoever.

Don't worry about size, don't worry about color right now, we're talking about sound.

That's the main importance when it comes to deciding what lipless crankbait you're gonna

throw where.

It's the sound, it's the beat that it provides.

The beat it provides is what's gonna show you what steps to do when you're ready to

dance.

Follow the beat, just follow the beat.

Follow the beat, and you'll find the bass.

But I'm gonna break down each one to you and kind of tell you why the specific sound of

each lipless crankbait is how I determine where and how I'm going to fish it.

This is the Cordell Spot.

Cotten Cordell Spots, they've been around forever.

It's a light lure, a light profile.

This is the kind of lure that I'm gonna want to throw in the shallower, grassy flats area.

This lure is designed for speed and lots of noise and lots of commotion.

It is a walk-in-the-line, go as fast as I can and make as much noise as I can.

This one is light, it's designed for a shallow water and speed.

Let me show you the sound and the reason why I do that.

Listen to it.

It's got that high-pitched, very noisy rattle to it.

When these things are going through the water, they're going side-to-side really fast.

Very fast like that.

And it's got a great sound to do that.

However, other techniques that you might use, where you might yo-yo it, you might drop it

up and down, you might let it flutter, well, these don't have a lot of noise when you do

that.

Take a lipless and do that.

Go side-to-side like it's gonna, like you're in a straight line, and then go up and down.

Nothing, nothing in there.

This is why I'm gonna throw this in a straight line, in a shallow cover, made right along

a grass flat, something like that.

This is a straight line, so it can do its dance.

Now I just said, there's other techniques involved when you're fishing these, other

dance steps, other styles.

There's the tango, there's the salsa, there's the waltz.

There's all sorts of dances out there.

Now here's another one altogether.

This is the Strike King Red Eye Shad.

This is a unique one.

Side to side, it's got that nice high-pitched rattle to it, just like you hear, but it's

also got a deeper knock in there.

There must be a bigger rattle in there.

When you take it and go up and down.

You hear that?

You can hear the difference.

Side to side, up and down.

A totally different sound with it.

So that could tell you right there, this thing can be fished in a variety of different ways.

It also has a nice, fast sink, and it's got a nice wobble added to that.

So you wanna toss this out, run it along side-to-side, stop, let it sink, let it wobble down, and

jerk it up.

And when you jerk it up, it's gonna go side-to-side and get that knock.

A totally different sound to it, a totally different lure altogether.

That different three-step instead of your normal two-step, that might be the dance that

attracts that big bite.

Fishing it a little bit different, not just in a straight line, because straight lines

are boring, but if the line dance doesn't attract 'em, then you've got to step up your

step.

Go do a three step.

Which give me three steps, give me three steps baby.

This one is a lure that I'm gonna fish in a variety of areas from shallow to deep, and

I'm gonna burn it along, let it sink, jerk it up.

Burn it along, let it sink, jerk it up.

Really take advantage of the different noises that a lure like this can actually make.

But again, I'm letting the sound that this thing can create determine how and where I'm

gonna fish it.

This is an energetic beat.

Don't waste it.

Give it the three steps, baby.

Let it flutter, let it dance, let it do its thing and find that bite.

So maybe it's a little later in the evening, maybe it's a little later, they're feeling

a little more sluggish, and they really just wanna flow dance with you.

Well, that's when a lure like this one is gonna come in view.

This is the Rat-L-Clap, Rat-N-Clap.

This grappling lure is a unique one.

It's actually got just like that one big clank to it.

Instead of that loud vibration, fast-moving kind of thing, it's got a clank.

Listen to this.

That sounds like a slow dance to me, doesn't it?

Ah, yeah, that's just slow-dancing a little right there.

Instead of all those fast moving beads and lots of noise, this one is definitely one

that you're just gonna wanna kinda just slowly dance it.

But when those girls aren't looking to move too fast, the slow dance of a big clank like

this, that could be the dancing step you need.

That slow clank is telling me how to fish this one.

I'm gonna fish this one a little more towards the bottom.

It's got a nice sink to it, a nice rattle to it, and I'm gonna fish it right off the

bottom, nice and slow, occasionally giving it a yo-yo, letting it flutter down, letting

it flutter out, but giving it that nice, slow approach.

Slow dancing specialty right there.

And here's another one.

This is the Booyah One Knocker.

One Knocker because it's got that one knock.

It's a little bit, little bit louder, you can move it a little bit faster, but it's

got that really nice fall to it, where at side-to-side, barely have to move it and it's

rattling, but you get that yo-yo.

That's right.

And that is a really, really unique sound, a really unique lure.

You can fish it a little bit faster, because it's got a little faster clank to it, but

you don't need to do too much to this, just a straight flutter up and down.

This is a great yo-yo lure.

If it does that, if you go up and down, that's an up and down lure.

That's a lure you wanna jerk up and down.

I'll let it flutter down, I'm gonna pull it up.

Kind of like a jig, almost a vertical jig.

This is a perfect lure for that.

Just let it sink, let it flutter on down, yank it up, let her flutter down, yank it

up.

Look at that guys, that is a new dance step altogether.

That could be the one that attracts your next dance partner right there.

We're gonna call that one the Texas two-step.

Two steps.

Yeah, baby.

And yet another one.

Again, so many specific, so many different lures and with all each with their own unique

style and sound to it.

This is a Berkley Warpig.

This is a great lure.

It's got that flat nose on it, so when it drops down, it's heavy in the front end.

It's gonna go down fast, it's gonna sink fast, and it's gonna sit on the bottom nice and

operating like this.

Then you can definitely jerk it up.

Now listen to this one.

Side to side, got a real nice sound to it, but it's also got a different sound on up-and-down.

It's got the one knock and the rattle.

This is a fast pace lure doing a lot of dancing, this is a salsa lure right here.

This baby dances the salsa.

When you've got that sound, that great side-to-side sound where you know you can move fast, but

you've also got a really loud, fast up-and-down sound to it, dance the salsa with this one.

Let this thing fall right to the bottom, jerk it up and rip it along.

Adjust your pattern with this one, go nuts with a lure like this, you can do so many

things by reeling it fast, yo-yo-ing it, jerking it.

There's so many dance moves that a lure like this can do.

This is definitely your salsa baby.

Yeah.

That's right.

When these girls wanna dance to this, there's nothing better than a whole bunch of energy

and excitement that a lipless crankbait can give you.

And put that excitement into it, guys.

That's what these lures are for, they are built for speed and excitement.

They are built to dance.

That's what they're made for, guys.

There is nothing exciting about walking in a straight line.

Add a couple of steps to it.

Teach yourself how to dance, teach yourself how to dance a lipless crankbait, and, I promise

you, you're gonna find those results.

Especially in the springtime, when those girls have just finished up their spawn, they're

hungry and they're looking for a partner to dance with, show them the lipless lover.

Well, there you go, guys.

This year, when it comes to that post-spawn transition, hopefully, you now have a few

new dance steps in your arsenal.

This spring, make sure you've got your dancing shoes on, because all the big girls could

be waiting to dance with you.

Well, folks, I really hope you did enjoy that, and I hope you learned a little something.

If you did, make sure you smash the heck out of that like button, and share, share, share,

share.

And stay tuned to KastKing, to BassResource.com, and yours truly SawGrassBassin for plenty

more tips, tricks, and techniques in the near future.

Have a nice time, guys, from beautiful north Florida, I'm dancing with the big girls, it's

Captain Mikey signing out.

The future is bright, you keep those lines tight.

ASUS ZenFone 5 Review - The NOTch Midranger - Duration: 12:17.

so this is Theta zenfone 5 my full review of it the being using this find

out for the last week and it's my first phone were they notch and it's taken a

little while to get used to it luckily if you don't like it you can

actually hide it they released an OTA update just recently that allows you to

do that so it puts black either side and you won't see it so much so this is a

Snapdragon 6-3 6 mar 4 gigabytes of RAM 64 gigabytes of storage just the vision

I have here and has micro SD card support and a 3.5 millimeter headphone

jack so they haven't done anything crazy like removed bow for those that a lot of

people like to have so this mobile phone is priced around about 350 u.s. so it is

a little bit expensive I feel overpriced really for what it is

the spec and what you're getting which I'll cover here in this review so the

design of it quite premium it is a really nice phone in hand it feels good

it looks good it's got the glass on the back of course the downside is it's

going to be very slippery and if you drop it it's gonna be a lot easier to

break here with that glass on the rear so it's got your cameras on the back you

can see so one is a wide angled sensor that is a complete and utter letdown and

they missed an opportunity here is with this one so the very muddy the photos

but below that there is a 12 megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization

this one at least does take a very decent image it's not bad at all and

considering this apparently has quite a high

DxO rating or the same rating as the Google pixel I was expecting a lot from

this camera and it does disappoint as you see later on we do have metal around

the outside you can see some antenna lines here at the top we just got a

microphone that's for noise cancellation and for voice calls now the display I'll

mention the nights you can see it's there we've got an earpiece that doubles

as a loudspeaker and it also has an LED and side there for the status led to the

side of it we've got an ambient light sensor and proximity sensor and then the

8 megapixel front-facing camera so that's why the knotch is that wide so

the screen apart from the notch of course not everyone's going to like that

you can hide it which is good but it also has a very bright panel it's 630

lux maximum brightness that I measured good color reproduction as well you use

the splendid application that provide and you can tweak the white

and tweak exactly how you want this display to look and I do like they've

included that now on my panel I have a little tiny bit of Darkness around some

of the edges on the bottom the chin is quite a small chin so they have slimmed

that down which is great and it fits in hand nicely so it's not the tallest fun

even though it's 6.2 inches it is actually a little bit shorter than some

5.99 18 by 9 aspect ratio phones the ratio and this one is 19 by 9 aspect

ratio because of the the knotch but it's basically just a 1080p display and on

the left hand side we have a sim tray so this will take either a micro sim and a

nano sim or a nano sim and a micro SD cards and the build overall is excellent

its premium definitely with the glass ok little slippery but in terms of build

quality really right up there so that's great from a Zeus down the bottom we

have eight allowed speaker now the earpiece also doubles as a loudspeaker

and it has good volume but it does distort a little bit at 100% foam I'll

give you a sample of that now

the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack also outputs really good audio quality it's

clean as clear and the loudness is acceptable it's good it's not the

loudest I've heard but it is one of the better ones now the core quality I did

have an issue with core quality that I couldn't hear the other end a couple of

times then I thought it was down to orange who is my network provider but it

turns out they released an over-the-air update just the last one it's now the

fifth update from them that fixed that problem I haven't had any problems with

call quality since then so that's one issue they have addressed now hopefully

they will address the rear cameras because that white angled sensor does

take quite a poor photo you can see from these examples here so it's not the best

I mean when you first look you say okay that's an okay photo but zoom in and

look how muddy the images it's just lacking sharpness clarity details where

are they so poor sensor or poor lens they've gone it's a missed opportunity

but the 12 megapixel rear facing camera can take a really good image if you have

a look at these samples here of course it does come with portrait mode where

the dual sensors you can get a blue background the depth effect they call it

on both the front camera using AI to stitch around your face it's not perfect

no one really gets this 100% perfect I have seen better examples and I've also

seen worse it does apparently improve with the time it gets to learn people's

faces around here and things like that and stitch things out a little better

so for front-facing camera performance the 8 megapixel sensor can shoot only up

to 1080p but it does have good electronic image stabilization as you

can see so on the rear camera we get up to 4k 30 frames per second I've noticed

that the focus is stable no focus hunting issues and the audio quality is

good the video quality as well is good now does have optical image

stabilization unfortunately electronic image

stabilization is disabled so you will see a bit of that OSI rocking around

from time to time

alright I feel for this price range kateri it is good I just hope that a

future patch as this will be able to add electronic image stabilization as well

so it comes with Android 8.0 it's not quite the latest version it does have a

recent security patch level however which is good and there's any way that

it has their own custom skin on here that logos the icon set that they've

gone with does look quite Samsung as she doesn't it it looks a lot like same Suns

and it's not really original there but the speed of the UI at least is very

quick it's very smooth chrome performance very smooth multitasking

aside by side apps as well if you wanted to do that or the absolute support it

good performance and no complaints really with it at all I do like it it is

fast the animation speed is also very short making it seem really quick to

open things up and to move around RAM management as well as good and even the

gallery performance very fast with lots of photos on board here and we never

look at synthetic benchmarks so this is the antutu score very high this is what

the AI booster mode on and what that is is a little bit of marketing gimmick and

well it actually does work out to improve the performance it will boost up

and hold the highest clocks it can on all of the cause as a result it will

true through the battery a little faster but it will improve gaming performance

and the overall the fluidity of the UI and everything just seems to be slightly

better there then we have a look at the internal storage speeds it's using an

emmc type of storage and not quite as fast

of course as ufs storage and i think for the price of

phone they should have gone with ufs 2.1 storage 3G speeds Wireless speeds GPS

everything there is working perfectly fine no issues with the signal strength

either now the battery life this surprises I didn't quite think I was

going to get seven hours but I managed to get over seven hours on screen time

from the 3300 milliamp hour battery and if you have a look at my use here it's

quite heavy so I've done quite a bit of gaming a few hours of gaming some

Chrome's and YouTube I wouldn't exactly call it light use this was continual use

mostly on wireless about 20-30 percent on data and overall it held up really

well so a great battery life there's going to be a 2-day better each phone at

least now charging times I did run into a problem that it would stop charging at

84% and later at 94 91% sorry it stopped the game charging now it could be just

my unit it may need and over-the-air update for this

so my charging times here you can see I don't know whether these are correct

because it did stop there and I was on top of it most of the time and I saw but

expect quicker times if you're not having this problem so hopefully Azusa

is going to address this I will hold on to the phone and see if the charging

issue that I have is going to be fixed so for gaming performance it is very

smooth so all of the games I tested will de tanks lineage 2 on high settings it's

smooth its playable you do see some loading lag but this even happens for me

on Snapdragon 845 Mobile's Pub G on the high settings high frame rate very

playable it's smooth and you do see a couple of little legs and stutters here

and there to be expected but overall a great gaming experience from the zenfone

5 the zenfone 5 also has face unlocking and it will unlock really quick I

haven't had any problems with it do you just basically hold it up look into it

and within seconds even not even seconds under half a second it's unlocked and

ready to go now the fingerprint reader on the rear very quick it unlocks

straightaway it's an always-on fingerprint reader so you don't have to

wake the phone you simply place your finger that you have already set up and

straight away it unlocks and you're in the system and it works ten out of ten

times alright guys so is this a phone I can recommend well first off as erst

need to lower the price and that would make it a lot easier to

recommend at the moment it's just overpriced for the chipset okay it is a

very fast phone it feels as fast as a snapdragon 8 to 1 like a flagship phone

it's really hard to tell the difference like if you handed this phone to someone

and you told them it had a Snapdragon eight four five in it they would

probably believe you of how it performs good it has really quick the animations

and just how the you I feel so they've done an excellent job there but things

aren't 100% stable now they have been pushing out a lot of over-the-air

updates but I've run into two issues the core quality issue will the fact that I

couldn't hear that other end in some calls that's being fixed so that's no

longer an issue but it was there but the problem I have now charging so we're not

charged to 100% in one go for me it's happened now twice no three times that

I've tested it it'll either stop at 84% it'll stop at eighty late 80s or even 91

or something like that so that should not be happening it should charge on one

go so it's either a problem with my unit or just a problem in general that

hopefully they can fix with it over-the-air update now the camera they

hyped it up with the camera as good as the Google pixel according to the DxO

mark now I don't believe you can trust those benchmarks anymore because it

seems whoever pays them to optimize or help optimize the cameras gets a higher

score so it's a really a paid score now so completely untrustworthy and as I saw

of my comparison make sure you check that video out by the way that even and

much cheaper phone can beat this the redmi note 5 in still shots at least not

in low light not in video but in stills and that to me was a bit of a

disappointment they're not to mean that this doesn't take a great photo

it does front-facing camera as well is reasonable we've got electronic image

stabilization but not on for cable diss but overall as a package it is a good

phone I like it you're either going to hate the notch and not buy it for that

reason and the price of it will probably put you off so if they drop the price

this will be a good phone or what I almost forgot another big con is the

wide-angle lens camera super disappointing they missed that up a

missed opportunity it really is bad so thank you for watching this review here

I hope you liked it if you're new to the channel and you like this kind of style

of review here please subscribe and I will have what happen coming soon also

check out my review of Shelby's redmi note 5 that's up here that is another

Snapdragon 636 mobile bye for now

The Arabian Nights | The Old Man and the Hind - Duration: 6:10.

The Story of the First Old Man and of the Hind

I am now going to begin my story (said the old man), so please attend.

This hind that you see with me is my wife.

We have no children of our own, therefore I adopted the son of a favorite slave, and

determined to make him my heir.

My wife, however, took a great dislike to both mother and child, which she concealed

from me till too late.

When my adopted son was about ten years old I was obliged to go on a journey.

Before I went I entrusted to my wife's keeping both the mother and child, and begged her

to take care of them during my absence, which lasted a whole year.

During this time she studied magic in order to carry out her wicked scheme.

When she had learnt enough she took my son into a distant place and changed him into

a calf.

Then she gave him to my steward, and told him to look after a calf she had bought.

She also changed the slave into a cow, which she sent to my steward.

When I returned I inquired after my slave and the child.

"Your slave is dead," she said, "and as for your son, I have not seen him for two months,

and I do not know where he is."

I was grieved to hear of my slave's death, but as my son had only disappeared, I thought

I should soon find him.

Eight months, however, passed, and still no tidings of him; then the feast of Bairam came.

To celebrate it I ordered my steward to bring me a very fat cow to sacrifice.

He did so.

The cow that he brought was my unfortunate slave.

I bound her, but just as I was about to kill her she began to low most piteously, and I

saw that her eyes were streaming with tears.

It seemed to me most extraordinary, and, feeling a movement of pity, I ordered the steward

to lead her away and bring another.

My wife, who was present, scoffed at my compassion, which made her malice of no avail.

"What are you doing?" she cried.

"Kill this cow.

It is the best we have to sacrifice."

To please her, I tried again, but again the animal's lows and tears disarmed me.

"Take her away," I said to the steward, "and kill her; I cannot."

The steward killed her, but on skinning her found that she was nothing but bones, although

she appeared so fat.

I was vexed.

"Keep her for yourself," I said to the steward, "and if you have a fat calf, bring that in

her stead."

In a short time he brought a very fat calf, which, although I did not know it, was my

son.

It tried hard to break its cord and come to me.

It threw itself at my feet, with its head on the ground, as if it wished to excite my

pity, and to beg me not to take away its life.

I was even more surprised and touched at this action than I had been at the tears of the

cow.

"Go," I said to the steward, "take back this calf, take great care of it, and bring me

another in its place instantly."

As soon as my wife heard me speak this she at once cried out, "What are you doing, husband?

Do not sacrifice any calf but this."

"Wife," I answered, "I will not sacrifice this calf," and in spite of all her remonstrances,

I remained firm.

I had another calf killed; this one was led away.

The next day the steward asked to speak to me in private.

"I have come," he said, "to tell you some news which I think you will like to hear.

I have a daughter who knows magic.

Yesterday, when I was leading back the calf which you refused to sacrifice, I noticed

that she smiled, and then directly afterwards began to cry.

I asked her why she did so."

"Father," she answered, "this calf is the son of our master.

I smile with joy at seeing him still alive, and I weep to think of his mother, who was

sacrificed yesterday as a cow.

These changes have been wrought by our master's wife, who hated the mother and son."

"At these words, of Genius," continued the old man, "I leave you to imagine my astonishment.

I went immediately with the steward to speak with his daughter myself.

First of all I went to the stable to see my son, and he replied in his dumb way to all

my caresses.

When the steward's daughter came I asked her if she could change my son back to his proper

shape."

"Yes, I can," she replied, "on two conditions.

One is that you will give him to me for a husband, and the other is that you will let

me punish the woman who changed him into a calf."

"To the first condition," I answered, "I agree with all my heart, and I will give you an

ample dowry.

To the second I also agree, I only beg you to spare her life."

"That I will do," she replied; "I will treat her as she treated your son."

Then she took a vessel of water and pronounced over it some words I did not understand; then,

on throwing the water over him, he became immediately a young man once more.

"My son, my dear son," I exclaimed, kissing him in a transport of joy.

"This kind maiden has rescued you from a terrible enchantment, and I am sure that out of gratitude

you will marry her."

He consented joyfully, but before they were married, the young girl changed my wife into

a hind, and it is she whom you see before you.

I wished her to have this form rather than a stranger one, so that we could see her in

the family without repugnance.

Since then my son has become a widower and has gone travelling.

I am now going in search of him, and not wishing to confide my wife to the care of other people,

I am taking her with me.

Is this not a most marvellous tale?

"It is indeed," said the genius, "and because of it I grant to you the third part of the

punishment of this merchant."

When the first old man had finished his story, the second, who was leading the two black

dogs, said to the genius, "I am going to tell you what happened to me, and I am sure that

you will find my story even more astonishing than the one to which you have just been listening.

But when I have related it, will you grant me also the third part of the merchant's punishment?"

"Yes," replied the genius, "provided that your story surpasses that of the hind."

With this agreement the second old man began in this way.
