DJI - Lost in Malta: Behind the Scenes with Ronin-S - Duration: 3:15.

My name is Sarah Izzi

and I'm one of the cofounders of The Lost Avocado Project.

Today we are here in the beautiful island of Malta

to shoot the latest episode of our "Lost In..." videos.

And this time we joined forces with DJI,

who gave us a chance to use the new Ronin-S.

In travel and documentary filmmaking,

it's essential to keep your equipment

as light and compact as possible,

so you can take it anywhere you go.

Ronin-S is compact enough to fit in a small backpack,

so I can quickly take it out and use it on the fly.

The action in this type of filmmaking is not scripted,

so the moment that I'm looking for might only happen once.

And there's no way to tell where or when.

Most importantly,

it is impossible to repeat the scene,

so you only have one chance to capture it.

The responsiveness of Ronin-S,

thanks to its Sport mode and the ability

to instantly change between different user modes,

is really helpful when shooting in an unscripted

and unpredictable environment.

We cannot afford to spend too much time

on a single location.

But at the same time,

we don't want to compromise our creative vision.

Ronin-S allows us to capture perfectly stable,

beautiful, dynamic shots in different situations,

whether that's running up the stairs in the city,

shooting from a moving boat,

or even running in a rocky terrain.

Ronin-S makes it possible to capture complex scenes

like the tracking shot that we filmed in the Old City.

We used Ronin-S mounted to a monopod

for a jib arm-type of shot.

Easily mounting the camera on and off the gimbal

using the industry-standard mounting plate

allowed us to take the camera off Ronin-S

for taking a still photo,

and putting it back quickly again.

This especially turned out to be handy

in situations where we needed both still images and video.

We've tested the timelapse feature of Ronin-S,

programming complex camera movements easily

via the Ronin app.

Working with Ronin-S was a great experience.

We managed to be much faster,

create new, dynamic shots,

and I'm really looking forward to working with it again in the future.

DJI - Dare to Move: Behind the Scenes with Ronin-S - Duration: 3:04.

Today we're shooting a dance performance video

on the Ronin-S.

To capture dance in a dance video

you need to have a camera system that's fluent,

that's moving with the movement of the dancer.

Shooting on the Ronin-S is a very interesting process,

because it becomes a vital part of the choreography.

The Ronin-S is a compact and lightweight

camera stabilization system that empowers

smooth camera movements in many different ways.

We were able to mount the Ronin-S

within seconds to a monopod.

With this extension, we created some unique shots

that normally would require a jib arm on a camera dolly.

The fact that you can remotely control the gimbal hat,

the camera settings, and even the focus while it's mounted

in an inaccessible location adds even more flexibility.

Normally, camera stabilization systems are very heavy

and you need people to carry them around.

But, now you can just throw it in your backpack,

and off you go.

Shooting in places like the subway,

we always want to be as light and compact as possible,

and of course carry a minimal amount of equipment.

Working with the Ronin-S also allowed us

to leave the tripod behind.

This helped a lot to get

the shooting permits for different locations.

The Mode button and the Sport mode

that changed the gimbal characteristics instantly

helped the gimbal operator track the

spontaneous dance movements on the fly.

The continuous roll movement in the Flashlight mode

is also a very important and useful feature of the Ronin-S.

The slanted axis access design makes it

also possible to go from very low-angle shots

to high-angle shots without any obstructions.

It also allows you to see the integrated camera display

as it's not blocked by the gimbal's roll motor.

This helps to keep the whole gimbal setup

as streamlined as possible without the need

of adding an additional monitor.

We had a lot of fun using Ronin-S

and trying all the different modes

and features here on the set.

By using this free-moving camera,

we can capture dance moves in a whole new way.

Is 'Starvation Mode' Stopping Your Weight Loss? - Duration: 3:36.

starvation mode is it real does it exist...

what up guys it's your boy Matty, Matt from Macro Lean and in this video I'm

gonna be addressing a comment on a youtube video about" starvation mode".. Is

it real, does it exist? but before we get into that video if you've just found the

Macro Lean channel welcome to the fam and if you're not a subscriber? Tiny small

suggestion... you might want to smash that red subscribe button, and that Bell

button right here or down there to get notified every time I drop a new content,

every time I drop in new videos which is pretty much on da daily... you know how

we do at Macro Lean but let's get into this comment... it starts off "small comment

on calorie deficit plans I don't think it's a good idea to skip breakfast I

think healthly eating and portion control throughout the day is the key otherwise

you put yourself into starvation mode not a good idea if you keep active

anyway" Now I think this person is making this comment because they see me talk

and riff and waffle on about intermittent fasting all the time.

I love IF, I have been fasting for maybe 10 years. I don't eat until

later in the afternoon and it makes that calorie deficit so much easier because

meal timing is irrelevant, all that matters is hitting your calories,

hitting your macros in line with your goal. It doesn't matter if you had

six or sixty meals a day or one big meal, as long as you hit those right numbers

you're good, you're golden. Now let's get into the topic of if the starvation mode

does this exist? will your body go hang on there's too little calories here,

let's put the brakes on fat loss?? in fact let's hold on to fat and let's store even

more fat. This is a BS narrative that's been around the weight loss industry for

the last year or two. everyone loves to talk about it "oh my god your metabolisms

crashing, you're in a starvation mode, you're storing more body fat" Which is

impossible!!! how can you be storing calories that aren't there. This has

been proven many many times that starvation mode does not exist okay. when you reduce

your calories even by a lot for a long period of time your metabolism will

start to slow down because you're having a reduced intake of food, but guess what?

as soon as you up your intake of food, your metabolism up regulates and starts

to burn more. So starvation mode pretty much doesn't exist unless, unless you're

a prisoner of war and you were in a concentration camp like the Nazis had in

Auschwitz and you were there for years

getting fed like 4-500 calories yes your metabolism might be in a toilet. But

for people in this day and age this is not true, the bottom line is when I find

people aren't losing body weight, aren't losing body fat and they're blaming

metabolic damage or starvation modes and I do bit more investigation, I do a bit

more probing... What I find out is they're not really adhering, they're not sticking

to their calorie deficit, they're not sticking to their macros. That's the

bottom line! People love to blame an external okay...

it's not me it's the starvation mode, it's my hormones, it's my parents force feeding me...

listen it's you! let's get down to the brass tacks, if you're not

losing body weight, losing body fat it's probably because you're in a deficit one

day, you're in a surplus the next day. You're not tracking for a week, you're

coming back to it and guess what that's called a shitshow, and you are not going

to see any progress on the scale or on the tape measure, or in your photos. So the

starvation mode does not exist number one, that's been shown many times in

science, meal timing is irrelevant. All that matters is the right amount of calories and

the right amount of macronutrients. so if you want to lose body fat get yourself

into a calorie deficit, track your proteins your fats your carbohydrates.

these are your macronutrients and be consistent and you will change your body

yo, you'll get lean you'll lose weight, and you will lose body fat. But guys let

Embarrassed elephant calf chases his saviors - Duration: 5:35.

Sri Lanka has a massive network of canals

which carry water through the main areas that help agricultural activities.

These Asian wild elephants that roam freely through the jungles towards human villages close to their habitats

But those who roam freely get into trouble very often when they go out looking for new water sources etc.

This Asian elephant calf that got stuck inside a canal near its floodgates.

Villagers and the wildlife officers gathered around the canal floodgates

to get the elephant away from the gates.

With such high pressure, it was a very difficult task.

They used a couple of large ropes in this matter to take this elephant away from the gates, towards the climbable surface.

With the little elephant struggling and its inability to understand the situation,

most of those efforts went without any results.

Slowly but gradually they made progress with the situation.

Finally, they took the little elephant out and was successful with the rescue mission.

They will be taking this little elephant to a conservation area kept for elephants in the country

Simple way to track your public Etherium wallet address - Duration: 1:46.

Hi, I'm ben from Massblock.

Today I'm going to show you how easy it is to manage a portfolio of Ethereum and Ethereum

based tokens in our app.

So grab your phone, open the app and let's dive right in.

Firstly in the bottom right, hit the plus button.

Select connect wallet or exchange.

At the top, choose wallets.

Let's tap Ethereum from supported wallets.

I'm going to call this account Ledger Nano 1.

I'll paste my Ethereum wallet address at the bottom.

And then hit save in the top right corner.

Then on the homepage, pull down to refresh to sync the new wallets balance.

And that's it, you've added your Ethereum wallet and all connected Ethereum tokens to

your Massblock app.

Now you'll notice the red dots over your new coins indicating that Massblock doesn't

have a record of your entry position.

So let's fix that now.

Just select the plus button at the bottom, and then balance changes.

If you would like to add in your entry positions for each coin individually, just select the

coin and save the balance change as a trade or transfer.

Now I know that I bought some Ethereum for $800 each, on March 8th with a fee of $2.

So I'll just add those in and hit save in the top right corner.

But if you don't want to enter each position manually.

Massblock gives you the option to fix all these in one go.

Just select the menu icon in the top right, and I'm gonna fix all at market rate.

So now Massblock will set all my entry positions to the current index price and just track

my profits or losses from this point onward.

And we're done, we've just setup balance syncing on a bunch of new coins in under 2

minutes.

So there you have it, Ethereum wallet synced.
