"What a man will tell himself is amazing" | Robby Hoffman - Duration: 3:33.
Maybe you're looking at me tonight.
What, you don't think I get hit on
by heterosexual men?
Yeah I do. Yeah I do.
I do very well, thank you.
Because what a man will tell himself is amazing.
It's really amazing. I've been in
way dykier outfits than this.
I got this sweater in plaid.
Steel-toed boots.
Men are still asking me for walks and drinks.
Yeah, I always say no to the walk
but yes to the drink
because I'm Jewish first
then gay.
(laughter)
That's how I identify.
That's what works for me.
That's how I identify, you know.
But uh, we got any men here tonight?
Any heterosexual men here tonight?
Oh.
Because a lot of heterosexual men
have this dream – they have this lesbian fantasy.
I've seen the dropdown on PornHub.
It's a major category.
(laughter)
But I have a feeling – I have a feeling that I am not the
kind of lesbian
these men are dreaming about.
Hello, I'm here for the dream!
You know...
But uh, women, it's hard being women.
Women... we got any women here?
(applause)
You gotta ask. It's 2017. I don't know how you identify.
You know, but women here, you guys counting your blessings?
I count my blessings every day.
Women, we gotta count our blessings, right?
I count 'em every day. I got six of them.
Every single day.
You know, right at the top of the list, this is really amazing.
But I've actually never had the UTI.
Can you imagine this?
Is that some blessing?
Is that some blessing? Because my friend Jillian
she called me one day
tremendous pain, home sick.
So I asked her, I said,
how did – how do you know you have this?
And she said, "Oh, you know."
I said, how do you even come up with something like this?
How do you even come up with this UTI?
And she said she didn't want to scare me
but went on to scare me.
And told me that anything to do with the anal region
moving up into the vulva and into the vagina,
recipe for the UTI.
And I thought, it is some miracle,
it is some blessing that I have not had the UTI.
'Cause I have been wiping the wrong way my whole life!
I have been wiping back to front
like it's my f**king job!
And I'm doing this, what, eighteen, twenty times a day?
I mean, it's habitual at this point.
I can't just change it all of a sudden.
So now I got it down to a dab.
So aroused or otherwise,
at any day, at the end of it,
I'm damp.

Detox Diets & Cleanses: Good or Bad? - Duration: 3:09.
Are detoxes and cleanses really effective for weight loss?
Let's get into it.
Hey everybody and welcome back to another episode of Walk with Me, this is Josh here
and today we're talking all about detoxes and cleanses and wether you should try one
of these out when you're first starting to lose weight.
We all get bombarded with these ads for shakes or pills or juices, I really have no idea
what keeps substantiating the myth and what keeps all of these companies in business because
unlike a lot of the things I talk about there's actually a lot of evidence on my side out
on the internet right now, but people still think you need to go on these cleanses and
detoxes.
The human body is a wonderful thing.
If you have a working liver and kidney your body is going to take care of any toxins that
you already have in there so just worry about your regular diet, don't worry about these
crazy fast cleanse detox things that you see everywhere.
So if the marketing has gotten you already and you're on the fence and wanting to try
one of these cleanses or detoxes, skip it, just start with some healthy easy changes
to your weight loss, you'll see the same results.
I know it might seem like a good way to jumpstart your weight loss and lose a bunch of weight
really quick.
Most of that weight that your losing is just going to be water in the early stages.
The fact that these detox companies plan in advance that you're going to gain half or
most of the weight back is just absolutely absurd to me.
I doubt there's anything that detrimental or harmful in trying it but it's just a huge
waste of willpower.
When you're trying to lose weight that is your main currency for sticking to your diet
and if you go on this crazy change right off that bat it's just kind of setting yourself
up for failure.
So please please please, I beg all of you, don't waste your time, your money, your energy
on these crazy detox diets.
There are just so many better more effective ways to start losing weight.
Typically, you're going to see that if you're starting any sort of weight loss, if you're
eating twice as many calories and you suddenly cut that out you're going to drop a bunch
of water weight just like that cleanse.
Anything else beyond that is essentially gonna be placebo so save your trouble, save your
energy and just lose weight in a healthy regular way, I've made lots of videos on here showing
you how to do so.
But that is gonna be it for me this week, nice and short but a very important one.
Be sure to leave me a comment down below though, what are you struggling with, how can I help,
what topics would you like me to cover in future weeks.
Always love to have that feedback from you guys.
Be sure to like the video too if you enjoy this, it really helps me out a ton.
Subscribe if you're not already, walk with me comes out every Monday and I've got all
sorts of other videos out on Fridays, but until next time I will talk to you all later.
Have a good one.

How to mix voiceover and music with audacity - Duration: 5:04.
Hello everyone. It's Lou's screenshot tuto. Today we are going to
learn how to mix voiceover and music with audacity on a video.
We will meet again right away behind my little assembly bench that
is other than software avs video editor and you see I have different
tracks on my timeline like you without doubt for your editing a video track,
an image track, a text track, a audio track. On this project and I
do not have any audio tracks yet. I go create it and I'm going for it already
save my project in movie format. It's a project called
redirects and I'm going to save it without voiceover.
Once this video is recorded I'm lucky to be able to work in
dual screen, to have on my screen right my video on my left screen
Audacity. And that's why I I'll be able to do my little mixing
since I'm going to watch the movie all speaking to record the
the dialogue with audacity. So I run my Audacity, I'm doing 1 2 3
and I say my text in overlay on the video. Once
I'm done, well I'll reduce the noise with
audacity by taking the background noise and I will apply this reduction of
noise to the whole of my soundtrack. It is the very first operation for good
clean the tape. Then I cut the beginning and the end and
I will clean my band gradually. when you have
used to use audacity, you immediately notice what
is like breath and can be anything immediately make it mute. It is only
matter of habit. You will arrive very quickly to read his directions.
And then when in doubt, you can listen again to be sure you do not
deceive and well suppressed of breath or speech defects like heuuu
example. When you have cleaned your tape, you record
the project and here I go go get some background music. It is
sometimes the most complicated thing find a music that matches
well mix that we want to do. For that the easiest way
for me, it's going to be in the youtube audio library.
I will choose the duration that corresponds to the doubling that
I wish to perform. When I found the music that
matches well, I import it in audacity. The music
is imported but initially she mask the voice off.
I will have to decrease the volume music. I'm listening to be sure
it all works. There, at this point, the voice off and the music are ok. The voice
is well posed. So I can export my audio in waw format. You can enter
metadata is always good for SEO and I return
now in my editing software. I restart my project. I'm importing
dubbing and I put it on the line audio from my timeline. Here is a
video where I have not finished yet. You see that in the end I still have
a few seconds. I still have two plans to realize but my soundtrack is already
fact. When these two plans are added,
this video will be ready to be broadcast.
Do not forget to save your project. This is the end of this video. A little click
I like always pleasure. Remember to subscribe and if not activate
the bell. I'll see you soon for a new tutorial.

Sadhguru - Gautama or Jesus, for me they are today - Duration: 10:16.
Is all this out of experience or some kind of inner conscious?
Now that he mentioned Vedas, in Vedas there are many aspects.
One aspect is they're talking about the constellations, you know,
the arrangement of galaxies in great detail, with diagrams,
with mathematical calculations and so many other aspects of galactic constellation.
Today modern cosmologists see these diagrams and calculations
and they say these kind of constellations could have existed only 100,000 years ago.
Based on this we say Rig Veda is over 100,000 years old.
There are other factors also to prove this but this is one of them.
Now, these constellations that the cosmologists are talking about
can be viewed only with very powerful telescopes.
Hundred thousand years ago in India definitely there was no telescope;
I'm sure there was not even a lens.
Then how did they see it?
They saw it with eyes closed, not with eyes open
because everything that's worth knowing can be known from within
rather than trying to learn from other ways.
I have taken lot of care to ensure that I never read any scriptures or anything spiritual.
The only things that I read is Asterisks or Dennis the Menace and,
you know, just pure wisdom.
Spirituality and reading is totally not allowed.
No spiritual reading.
But everything that's worth knowing is within you, not outside of you.
Apart from that, information - you know, today you go on the internet;
for ages there has been a yogic net.
Whatever work that people did... see, if you work with your body, with your
physical body or with your muscle the span of that work
or the lifespan of that work is very limited.
If you use your mind and do work the lifespan of that work is little more,
it lasts a little longer.
If you use your inner energies and do work, the lifespan of that is eternal.
Now, I talk about Gautama or Jesus or anybody with absolute authority
not because I am a scholar, I have not even read anything, simply because as ...
as far as I am concerned they are not 2500 years ago;
for me they are today because one part of their work is always alive.
Those people who did things beyond their body and mind, their work is always alive.
If planet earth goes away still their work is alive; it will not go away.
So, that's always there.
So, this is what is being referred to as the Grace of the Masters.
I'm just talking about two people because somehow they got to be well-known.
They were good with their marketing, both of them.
Other yogis and sages are unknown to you, that does not make them any less beautiful.
It is just that they never bothered to market themselves; they just stayed.
Like I've been around for 20 years, people have barely heard of me
because we started marketing only in the last two years or two-and-half years time.
Till then there was absolutely no marketing.
People knew us like we are some secret school, nobody knows that we exist
but at the same time lakhs of people have gone through our programs
just by word of mouth.
As a rule no brochure, no poster, no banner, no television, no newspaper,
we never entered anything.
Then people thought we are some kind of secret school
and something must be happening there and they started giving us negative publicity.
Then we decided anyway they're giving us publicity, let's go out and say what we want to say.
They started saying all kinds of weird things about us,
so we said okay, lets step out and speak up for ourselves.
And also because we are launching this Rural Rejuvenation Program in Tamilnadu state.
In all the 13,000 villages we are setting up centers to rejuvenate rural life
with yoga and other aspects.
So, we are launching medical dispensary...mobile dispensaries on the trucks.
About 150 trucks will be launched in the next few years.
A few are going.
Just some of the Detroit meditators just now sponsored one truck just two days ago.
So because this work is being taken up we are seeking publicity now.
We need...we need money, that's why I'm here, I need lots of money.
This will service about 60 million people.
These 150 trucks will be servicing about 60 million people.
It's a huge thing.
In terms of investment it's nothing for that large a population.
So, knowing something is not by reading.
By reading what you know... what you know by a book is...
it will forsake you somewhere.
Whatever you learn by book reading, it is going to forsake you somewhere.
You may be an expert in Vedas and Upanishads and Bibles and Korans,
you may speak very authoritatively but when it comes to your own stuff
you will not have anything because what you gather intellectually will not liberate you.
What you gather intellectually will nourish you only to a certain point
but only what comes from within takes you beyond your limitations.
That's why so much significance is given for meditation, always it's been given.
For those of you who come from these cultures, you know even in Jesus' life he went about
doing certain things and then he withdrew into the mountains to
be by himself.
Yes?
Do you know certain periods of his life he is absent.
Because without an inward turn, what you do outside has really no meaning.
So, getting lost in activity is very easy but without turning inward and being sustained
by that it doesn't mean anything.
And anyway, like internet there is a yogic net, you can access it.
Everything that you ever want to know is there.
And I don't carry...
I don't carry what I know with me at all.
It's not in my memory.
When I walk on the street I'm absolute empty.
When I need something it's there.
Till now, in these last 20 years since I started involving myself with people,
so many kinds of situations have come in front of me...
situations means I'm talking about spiritual situations.
Not once have I been left not knowing what to do
nor have I studied this.
It is just that what needs to be done is always there.
Very complex situations, not simple situations, very very complex situations
but what I need to know is always there and I don't have the problem of carrying this
in my memory.
I don't have to burden myself with knowledge.
I walk light like a child without knowing anything
but what you need to know is always there.
This is what is referred to as Grace.
The Grace of the Masters is just that they left their work to be there forever.
If you wrote it down it wouldn't be there, it would be misinterpreted.
This cannot be misinterpreted.
If you access it, it's pure knowledge.

Timing The Stock Market vs Time In The Stock Market - Which is Better ? - Duration: 9:41.
hello everyone and thanks for tuning into the financial investor channel my
name is Brent and say there we're going to be discussing the subject of timing
the market now I've seen this covered on other YouTube channels I've seen this
kind of talked about on the Facebook groups that I'm involved in as far as
the stock market goes and everyone is always trying to say hey is this a great
time to buy into the market or invest in a specific stock so in today's video
we're gonna be covering buying into an index or the market as a whole and
someone who buys in and times the market and someone who just buys into the
market and they just kind of continue to hold and they're both starting with
$10,000 in this example they're not adding any more money into their
portfolio over the course of this year and I'm only using a year right now they
kind of just showcase you know the examples of these so the first side of
vidual here on the top he started with $10,000 he invested this $10,000 in June
of 2017 three in this timeframe you know the markets went up slightly so here
anything in the green is where he is currently in the market anything in the
black during that September timeframe here in the black that's when he took
out of the market he just jumped out because the market took a correction he
said hey I don't want this you know I don't want to be involved right now
we've been on a bull market for the last eight ten years this could be that point
where the markets gonna have that correction where it's gonna have that
pullback in recession so he jumped out of the market in September of 2017
he took a point 5% loss and he patted himself in the back that this could have
been a much bigger loss how'd he not jumped out well the market it kind of
settled off and as of November he's like okay I stand out of the market for
October I'm gonna go ahead and jump back and he jumped back in in November of
2017 now this during this four month period November until January February
of 2018 there was a huge rush nearly the you know the market nearly doubled from
a percent gain to nearly a sixteen seventeen percent game but February 5th
of 2018 the mark took a turn on Monday it opened up the
markets lost nearly four or five percent and then continued to do so over the
course of a week so within like one week the market lost 10% in this individual
he set limit sells he sold out of his portfolio
he went from a 15 percent gain and he had gained 8 percent over that course of
November until February of 2018 he felt pretty good you know it was an 8% return
that's about the average for the SMP 500 he powdered himself from the back and
you know he waited a little bit for the markets to kind of recorrect or readjust
and kind of simmer down and he waited from February until March you know there
was a little bit of a period right there where it kind of came back up to nearly
mid mid back up between the highs and he bought back in during this time the
market again went down in April of 2018 slightly for like a week there was a
little bit of a depression he sold out again because he's still worried the
market might correct even further you know back down to those bottoms so
during that time frame within that one day he had joined back in a couple days
that he had joined back in he lost 2% of his you know his earnings so he at that
point he had roughly a 5.5 percent gain over the time that he actually been
invested in the market he waited here just a few weeks and then
bought back in of April towards the end of 2018 and has been in the market since
from April 2018 until now June of 2018 and he's accumulated roughly 1 point you
know to 5 you know nearly 2% gain over that time period from being invested
from April until June now this entire period for the year where he'd lost 0.5
gained 8% lost 2% gained an additional 1 or 2% during that time frame that total
came out to around 6.6 percent because he was trying to time the market over
that time frame of a year now his initial $10,000 they had ambassadors now
worth ten thousand six hundred and sixty-seven percent now he looks at it
he's made roughly about the the return of the S&P 500 that 7 to 10 percent
return so he feels pretty happy but if you had been a long-term investor
and just put your $10,000 in and just kind of held it in there for the long
term the market would have you know you would have been punished in September
you would have been punished in February and but you would have also recovered
there in those times as well you would have just stayed in the market so you
would have been punished roughly 10% gain back 5% punished 3% gain back five
percent more so over the long term this one individual who had just bought into
the market of June 2017 and had stayed in the market is now up fourteen point
two seven percent over that same year period so his portfolio grew from ten
thousand dollars to become eleven thousand two hundred and eleven thousand
four hundred and twenty seven dollars over that one year period now both of
these examples do not include dividends being paid out to their accounts or
having those dividends be reinvested into the accounts because if you did buy
into the sp500 they do pay out a dividend every quarter but I didn't
include that in an example so both of those would be a would have been either
slightly higher because this individual would have been in the market the entire
time getting those exceptions being paid out this individual appear it may have
missed one or two of those ex Tibbets and those dividend payments so those are
that's just an example of someone who's trying to time the market and someone
who just went into the market and invested now look at any individual
who's investing for the long term how do they how do the majority of them invest
they invest through their retirement accounts that work through a 401 K 401
be some sort of Roth 401 k account now this account does not try and time the
market every time you get a paycheck you get a percentage of your paycheck
removed and it gets moved into the market you know every two weeks every
week how often you are paid it just continues to buy into the market
regardless of whether the market is up or down so your retirement account
invest over the long term and it a virgin every time you get paid so that
seems like it should be the one of the better moves to make you know you just
don't worry what the markets doing if it dips that's great if you're actually
keeping track of it you buy during those dips because over the long term
what does the market do that always recovers from any sort of correction or
recession over the long term so if your 30s I'm in my 30s right now so I still
have roughly 30 years and so I'm looking to officially retire from you know the
whole game of it all so I have quite a while to even you know not have to worry
about the next recession don't have to worry about the next regression
correction because they take place every seven to ten years so there could be a
correction but at the same time that's just a better opportunity to buy more
shares at a discount and averaging over the long term because $10,000 going into
the market on a recession will buy you much more shares than ten thousand
dollars buying into a market at the peak so as long as you a virgin
you're gonna average in at the peak and at the lows and you're gonna have a very
good rising a very good movement of your portfolio over the long term and it's
all gonna be positive so I just wanted to make that video covering trying to
time the market and I see a lot of new investors always trying to ask the
question hey should I get invested right now I have a friend right now who you
know he has money in the bank I keep telling him he should invest a little
bit he keeps saying he's waiting the time the market he wants to invest after
the next correction while the markets been on fire recently if he had been
that one individual he would just put $10,000 into his account he would have
been up you know over $1,000 1,400 dollars over the timeframe of just one
year instead he may have a couple you know ten twenty thirty thousand dollars
sitting in the bank accumulating that point zero four percent gain that the
bank are gonna give you or 0.35 percent and maybe a you know 1.7 percent in a
high-yield savings account so he would have made roughly a hundred and seventy
dollars office ten thousand dollars or a thousand dollars how do you invest it
just over the long term over the course of the year so that is just the video I
kind of want to talk a little bit about trying to time the market or staying in
for the long term so let me know what do you guys try and do you guys try and
time the market or you just buy and hold over the long term such as your
retirement account is doing it for you and of course if you did like the video
remember to like share this with your friends and
subscribe if you have not yet subscribed that make all sort of content dealing
with the stock market and real estate investments and just general financial
knowledge so that is basically it as a friendly disclaimer I am NOT a financial
advisor or tax professional the information provided is my opinion for
entertainment and fun this is not investment advice this is just me as a
financial investor myself trying to help others make their money work for them
trying to help them out and provide some you know help so that is it thank you
guys for tuning in I will see you next time have a great day bye

Another Huge Sewing Supply Haul | Whitney Sews - Duration: 15:30.
hi everyone I am back today with another haul video because I'm clearly failing
the Sew Your Stash challenge for this year but seriously though the local store that
I've talked about in a couple videos they're going out of business they are
about to close and they still have so many amazing deals that I just cannot
help but take advantage of so I wanted to share once again what I picked up at
the local fabric store that is going out of business and by the way it is a fine
fabric store is what they were called so they sold like higher-end garment
sewing supplies and things like that as well as like the notions and things that
I've already shown in some videos so let's jump into what I picked up this
time so first up I thought I would go over the sewing patterns that I picked
up this time they had these sewing patterns they were the Butterick and
McCall were a dollar nineteen unless you bought ten or more and then they went
down to 89 cents each and the Vogue patterns were 249 each unless you bought
10 or more and then they went down to a dollar 89 so I bought more than 10 of
each kind so first up is this McCall's pattern
I don't normally gravitate toward this kind of item but some of these items
look kind of like something Princess Leia wore in the original three Star
Wars movies I forget which one and we're in to Star Wars so I thought this one
could be useful if I wanted to do that particular Princess Leia costume the
next one I got is this Butterick patterns by gertie swimsuit pattern is a
really cute vintage inspired a swimsuit that I just thought was really cute I
have thought about trying to make vintage swimsuits before and never had a
pattern that I really liked and I like this one so I might give it a try
sometime I also picked up this Butterick pattern it is a retro reprint from the
50s it's just really cute I love the angular pockets here I've been watching
the show wartime farm it was on bbc2 I'm not sure when it originally aired but
I've been watching that a lot so I really have liked the 40s and 50s on the
brain well the 30s 40s 50s all that so that's
why I gravitated towards so many vintage reprints this time and this next one I
bought two copies of because I bought the kids size and the adult size I just
thought this is a really cute one that I've seen several times
it's from 1958 originally and this is obviously the reprint from McCalls I also
picked up this next one and two different sizes and then realized I
thought I had it comes in kids teens and adults and I thought I had the teen one
at home which does me no good because they don't have a teenager but I
actually had the adult one at home but I'm not sure that all the pieces are
there because it was secondhand but I got the kids and adults of this poodle
skirt pattern because I do have a poodle skirt inspired project that I'm wanting
to do I'm not sure that this will be the pattern that I use because it's gathered
at the top and I really want like a smooth fit at the top with a zipper
instead of gathers so I don't know it's always good to have a basic long circle
skirt pattern anyway so grab those this next one is a reprint from a 1955 outfit
I really like the unique way the hips are done and I just think it's an
interesting look I like her little hat that's not in the patterns but she just
looked so cute in her little hat so I thought this one was a nice really cute
pattern this one is a 1933 reprint I did not think it was that interesting until
I looked at the back the design for view a has this really neat asymmetrical yoke
on the waist and I think that was just so cool-looking and unfortunately they
matched their patterns so smoothly on this skirt that you can't even see that
on the envelope cover so I think they're really
losing out by the fabric choices that they used on this one had they chosen a
different fabric I think this pattern would be so much
more stunning from the front of the pattern envelope this next one was kind
of a random pick it's this tote bag pattern I've never bought a tote bag
pattern before but I just thought this could be some fun inspiration and I just
thought it would check it out and see if I like it or not I don't know it helped
me get to the lower price point by buying some extra patterns this next one
is also one that I don't need but I just thought it was really interesting I have
seen some jackets like this after I had both of my kids and I really would have
liked to had these when I was pregnant with Peyton and when Peyton was little
it's a jacket that you can wear normal you can add in a panel for when you're
pregnant and then you take that panel out and flip it upside down and you use
that for when you are wearing your baby and it's cold out so I just thought that
was so so interesting so I bought the pattern just to kind of look it over and
see how it's all put together just because it really interested me and I
just really wish I would have had this when my kids were younger the last of
the McCall's and Butterick is this pattern from 1933 and it just has a really cool
design feature as well with the interesting waistline and everything I
just thought it was really really well done
so I grabbed it and super cute okay so the rest of these patterns I
have are vogue patterns start with the larger ones they have these really huge
envelopes and this is a pattern that I also bought in two different sizes and
the reason for that is because this one is size 12 14 16 and this one is 18 20
22 and I fit a variety of sizes according to my bust waist and hip so
since the sizes that I am are on both of these
I decided to get both of them just to be safe and that way if I do need to kind
of like Frankenstein the patterns together to use like the smaller bust
and waist and the larger for the hip area I'll be able to do that and have
both patterns that I need just in case and for the low low price that I was
paying like it was worth it to just get the two instead of later on if I decide
to make it than being upset that I don't have the right size for everything the
other larger envelope one I got oh and this was a 1952 reprint so the other
large envelope I got was in 1956 reprint and it's just a nice classy dress
just a pretty just a pretty dress from the 50s I grabbed this one that I
thought was just beautiful I love the way the pockets are done this is from
1949 and the reason I notice the pockets so much is on the show wartime form that
I was watching I just watched the episode where they were talking about
like fabric rationing and that they were limiting the amount of pockets you could
have on clothing and how many buttons and things like to make sure that people
were really only using as much as needed to be used and so when I noticed the
four pockets on here that just stuck out of my mind that this is obviously not
war time they had extra pockets that were not necessary so I just thought
that was a really cute outfit I had to get it and then this one is just a
really nice 1940s vintage reprint again wartime era I'm really had that on my
brain a lot lately cuz I've been watching that show so this is just a
really basic dress but it's the print that makes it so visually interesting
and as you can see it's just a simple simple dress and I just really like that
then I got this one it has just the interesting detail at the shoulder I
thought it was really nice a reprint from 1951 it's just really
cute one I hear Skyler she must've just woken up
and then this is the last vintage reprint that I got from 1951 it has this
really neat gathers with the crust over detail they're just really nice I also
got three modern patterns it's so weird I don't buy too
many modern patterns that aren't either like vintage reprints for costumes so
I bought just in basic shorts pattern I just thought this would be really nice
to have you can always use a good pair of shorts right and sometimes you
need pair of shorts to go under something or whatever I just thought
this might be a good one to have in my stash because all my other shorts
patterns are not the right size they I bought them before I had gained some
weight and so they just aren't right so if I do need to make a pair of shorts
now I have a pattern that will work I also grabbed this one this one kind of
inspired me for another Star Wars costume that is like a non-traditional
costume I've seen some people do like classed up versions of Star Wars
costumes where like it's not really a costume like it's everyday wear but it's
inspired by a character and this one kind of inspired me by Rey so how it
ties around her the sash and everything just kind of made me think of Rey from
Star Wars so I wanted to see if I could maybe come up with a way to use this in
a fun outfit that is just a nod to Star Wars but not really a costume and the
same with this one I think this is a tremendously ugly pattern to be quite
honest I think the shape of the skirt is horrible but when I looked at it I had
Star Wars on the brain and I thought hmm maybe I could make that into a BB8
skirt so the pattern itself is like a it's
stretchy fabric so it's a pull-on waste and then it has like this section in the
kind of a curved section and a bottom section so I thought maybe I could use
bb8 colors and make kind of like a high-fashion bb-8 inspired skirt I don't
know I needed to find enough patterns to make them cheaper then on here some
other things that I grabbed the the carded buttons were still six for a
dollar so I got three more cards for $0.50 I just I don't know just thought
these were cute grabbed him then I got
orange tulle I don't like orange I don't like tulle but I have a project
that I need orange tulle for um so I got I told him I wanted 10 yards that
there's about 12 or 13 yards and she sold it to me for the 10 yard price
which on sale was 75% off so I got ten yards well really 12 or 13 for $2.50 and
it is 52 inches wide so that is an awesome deal I also got some white tulle
I got five yards of this and it is 72 inches wide so I got it for like 75
cents a yard I think so not too bad so my reason for her going back to the
store was to buy two fabrics and they are to go with this fabric that I showed
in a previous home I picked up this off why it's just like slightly off-white
I would have preferred white but they were out and this is for the lining of
the bodice of the Rose dress and then I picked up this green that I don't 100%
love but you know I picked up this to go with the dress
as well hopefully it will look good so that is why I went to the store all this
other stuff is just added bonus and the last thing I picked up is some power
mesh I only had heard of power mesh pretty recently and at the store I saw
it and I could not remember where I had heard about it because someone was
talking about it recently and I thought I need to get some of that and try it
out and while I was at the store I couldn't remember what project it was
that I wanted it for but I did go ahead and get a yard of it and I was talking
to the ladies at the store and there's a lot of good uses for it like they
recommend it if I did make the swimsuit I could use the power mesh in that as a
lining like there's just a lot of uses for it so I got a yard of it and I will
see what I end up using it for I'm not really for sure yet on anything but it
was half off so I had to get it so that is my most recent haul from the local
store that is going out of business they closed their doors officially this
Saturday but the owner did mention to me that if he has anything left
he might unlock the door the following Monday so there's a chance I still might
go back one more time so we will see I did get a lot of really good stuff which
I'm really excited about it's very sad that the store is closing they have a
super long history in the city but I'm also really happy that I could get some
really good deals because previously when they were full price there was no
way I could afford most of the stuff in there so now that they've lower the
prices is when I can actually afford some of the stuff and start taking
advantage of the really good quality items that they have and that has been
really cool so anyway I hope you enjoyed this haul and if you want to see the
other hauls I've mentioned for this same store they'll be linked right
over here to the side make sure you subscribe because I have a ton of videos
that are coming up soon and I will see you all again next time happy sewing

HOW TO GET READY FOR AN AUDITION 💗 JUSTICE - Duration: 1:38.
Hi, I'm Girls With Heart Ambassador Nerhgiz,
and today I'm going to show you
how to prep for an audition.
So preparing for an audition is really important.
You want to make sure you're 100% ready
before walking into that room.
So the first thing you want to do when you wake up
is make sure that you eat a healthy breakfast
that fills you up,
because you want to have lots of energy for your audition.
Also make sure that you memorize your lines
or the song that you're going to be singing.
So maybe you can run your lines through
with somebody that you know,
or your parents,
or your friends to help you out.
And another thing that's super super important
is your headshot and resume.
You want to make sure that you have this
just in case they ask for it.
So what you want to do is you want to staple your headshot
in front of your resume,
and your resume will be on the back.
You also want to make sure that with your resume
you bring music notes if you're going to be singing a song.
I recommend putting it in a binder
so that it's all put together,
and you don't have to worry.
So you can just give it to the piano player if there is one.
And this is my binder.
I started acting about four years ago,
and I absolutely love it.
I think that my favorite thing about acting
is being able to step into somebody else's shoes
and play a character that could be totally different
from your actual personality.
I think it's a lot of fun.
Thank you so much for watching.
And please subscribe for more awesome Justice videos.
Practiced my lines and ate my breakfast.
Now I'm ready to go to my audition.
Bye.

LGR - Wheel of Fortune - Duration: 8:27.
[keyboard typing noises]
[Wheel of Fortune theme plays over PC speaker]
Mmm, retro computer noises.
I still use this IBM AT all the time, for those of you that asked about it.
I keep it set up all the time just in case I want to play stuff like Wheel of Fortune for DOS!
And you know what, I had another video pretty much all ready to go for today,
it was like 90% complete.
And then that last 10 percent, augh.
I was about ready to film, it was all good, it was totally ready and everything was all
set up -- and I don't have the part that I need.
That's just how it goes making retro hardware videos.
So whatever, I got that part on order and in the meantime, the only solution
is to play WOF.
Specifically this one released by ShareData Incorporated in 1987 for IBM PCs and compatibles.
There are actually quite a few variants as far as puzzles that were released over the
years, just in my collection alone.
On top of the original 1987 release which I had a copy of that my uncle gave me back in the day.
We put it on a floppy disk along with a bunch of other shareware.
Maybe he thought this was shareware because it was released by Share Data.
It's not though. This was a commercial game, this was pirated and I didn't know it.
Later on when I started collecting though I picked up a couple of these boxed releases
for this DOS version of the game.
The first one was Wheel of Fortune Golden Edition.
What makes it "golden" other than the box logo?
I don't know! It just sounds good.
This was by the time that GameTek had kind of taken back their rights to manufacture
these Wheel of Fortune games for themselves.
Anyway this golden edition: it's got a thousand new puzzles over the 1987 original.
"Now everybody's favorite Wheel of Fortune is an all-new Golden Edition!"
All right, whatever, I thought this was pretty much the one that I had as a kid but turns out, not really.
This one was 1989, the gameplay looks identical.
And so I ran across this other copy: Wheel of Fortune First Second and Third Editions
This is kind of strange too because, once again, it's not exactly the one that I had.
I mean, what I had was the first edition but the First Edition here
is sort of a retroactive titled "first" edition.
They changed around the startup screen, I do not appreciate that.
This is always a good sign when on the back of the box there's a spelling error on the
example puzzle they give.
"Judge Joseph Wopner?"
Do they mean Joseph Wapner who was a judge on The People's Court?
Because that's spelled with an "A," "W-A-P-N-E-R."
Anyway inside of each of these releases from GameTek you get the same stuff really.
There's a registration card here that is apparently super urgent in its insistence that you mail it in.
And this little two-sided piece of paper that lets you know the instructions for setting
it up and playing and all that stuff.
And it applies to all of the versions of Wheel of Fortune that were effectively the same
game just under different names and they had some different puzzles: the first, second,
third, and the golden edition, as well as a junior edition.
I've never actually come across that for the PC, I've only ever seen the NES one.
And of course you also get the games themselves on some floppy disks.
Each of these are double-sided, double density and they just happen to come in the five and
a quarter inch and three and a half inch varieties.
So let's go ahead and play none of these!
We're just gonna go right back to the 1987 PC original I had a copy of as a youngster.
[PC speaker WOF music plays]
And once again, they all look and play identically, it's just
they have different puzzles in each release.
They all have this serviceable PC speaker rendition of the theme song that was used
from 1983 to 2000 or so in various forms.
I believe the title is key wheel something... dang it what's the name of this song,
I don't remember the name! [walking away from the microphone]
Changing Keys!
That's what it is! [walking back] Yeah it's a song called Changing Keys written by Merv Griffin.
[late '80s version of Changing Keys plays]
You know, he did like a crapload of uh,
game show stuff.
That's kind of another reason I wanted to cover this. I was playing that modern version
of Wheel of Fortune, I saw it on a few different systems and picked it up on PS4 cuz it was
on sale or some crap and I'm like, "what is this?!"
Like I haven't watched Wheel of Fortune in years so the game had changed kind of a lot!
So that caught my attention but then there's just this particular video game version where
I'm like, does everything really need a bunch of cosmetic loot boxes
that you get every time you level up?
Yeah even Wheel of Fortune cannot escape that fate.
Then there's the odd meta humor from the host, *not* Pat Sajak!
[Not-Pat Sajak talks for a bit]
Speaking of hosts, that's one thing that is -- who knows
what you're gonna get when it comes to Wheel of Fortune games.
There's almost none of them with Pat Sajak and only a few of them have Vanna White.
They always make a big thing about it anytime she's in any of these games but yeah, she's
not in the modern one, and she's not in the 1987 classic either.
I always called her Vanna as a kid, cuz I mean it's -- you know It's supposed to be her.
And it's EGA, so what if she's got red hair and yellow skin it's close enough!
[brngh brngh]
Anyway Wheel of Fortune CGA for DOS: it uses one of the warmer color palettes here.
I always thought that that worked well for that golden glitzy kind of
glamorous 1980s Wheel of Fortune style.
Fits right in with the diamonds and the luxury cruises and the saxophones and the perms.
And yeah It just screams 80s.
As far as gameplay goes it is as simple as it gets.
I don't even know what to say man.
It's Wheel of Fortune, you're practically playing Hangman except there's no men being hung.
And don't even worry about now that other kind of stuff that you do now like toss ups
and the beeping near the end "oh it's a final spin" or you know, pieces that you
can pick up off the wheel, none of that crap.
In this one you spin, you guess a letter, and if it's there, cool.
If not, well darn.
Try again next round.
You can lose a turn, you can go bankrupt, you can buy a vowel if you got some cash.
And if you're *wheel-y* fortunate you might be able to solve the puzzle and get to keep
your money at the end of the round.
Yep, the only person who gets to keep anything in this game is the person that solves the puzzles.
You can actually attempt to solve the puzzle at
any time too, that always amused me for some reason.
Probably because immaturity.
And after three rounds, whoever has earned the most money that they were actually able
to keep moves on to the bonus round!
And you get to just select from a number of showcase items.
I always picked the "American sports car" as a kid because
well that's just what kind of kid I was, I don't know.
So what if it's not the most expensive, I wasn't greedy, I just wanted a friggin sports car!
Anyway after this is yet another bit of simplification relative to the modern day game show.
No "RSTLNE," you just put in some consonants and put in the vowel and guess it correctly
before the time runs out.
Hooray!
You've won absolutely nothing.
Such is the plight of game show games in virtual form.
What's the point?
"Oh, I won a vacation or a car or some..."
I don't know, doesn't matter because you didn't actually win it.
You just [chuckles] You get to put your name in a high score table and it sticks around
in a DAT file in a DOS program for decades.
Such is life.
And that's Wheel of Fortune.
I'll probably never talk about this again, hehe.
I don't even know what I'm talking about it now.
Oh, yeah, because I didn't get to finish my other video and I needed something comforting
and this is comforting.
It's oddly comforting, especially playing it on period-accurate hardware.
Unfortunately, I don't have my original Packard Bell Legend 486.
You know, I have some bits and pieces of that -- I want to build that computer, try to get
it working again hopefully sometime in the near future.
But yeah, that's not the hardware project I'm working on, I'm working on like five other
things and you know, they're all falling apart and everything is awful.
But that's okay because no matter what we will always have Wheel of Fortune for DOS
in all its various confusing forms that really don't differ from each other at all.
And that's okay.
And if you thought this video was okay, then I am shocked!
That just means you'll watch anything.
I mean more power to you, whatever.
If you liked this, yeah, watch some other things that I did there right here, I'll link to them and stuff.
And if not, there are new videos every Monday and Friday.
And as always, thank you very much for watching!

Trying On Wedding Gowns, Doing Yoga & Hanging With My Twin! | Lucie Fink - Duration: 8:11.
hey guys it's me thanks for coming back to my YouTube channel if you're not yet
subscribed click on the little subscribe box in the corner and then you can join
the family I just had the best weekend with my twin sister Alliei as many of you
guys know Allie and I both live in New York City so we get to hang out all the
time but recently I've been traveling a lot both for work and for my personal
life this weekend however we were able to get together and spend a glorious
Saturday afternoon together it was honestly the best weekend I've had in
such a long time and it's currently Sunday and guess who's still over and
hanging out? Al? can I request your presence for one moment? yes got her! as
I was saying we had the best Saturday together yesterday and now it's Sunday
and so sadly she's gonna have to leave soon but before she has to leave we're
making a video and I partnered up with wearable X to be able to bring you guys
this video where I show you what we did on this amazing Saturday it all started
yesterday morning when Allie came over and we made the most amazing breakfast
in the world oh I have an idea what let's make a smoothie alright here's
what I have frozen overripe bananas you're probably
supposed to peel these before you freeze them because it might be really
difficult to get it out now. I didn't even think of that. I have some frozen
papaya and I also have frozen dragon fruit. moment of truth. nice
go go go okay get in there. say a prayer for my blender
YUM.
finishing touch
here's our bowls cheers Cheers
mmm hold so we had pretty much the best breakfast ever
okay all right it seems like you want to go back and watch TV so you can go okay
bye see ya okay and after breakfast was when
we finally got to the unboxing of my new pair of wearable X yoga pants these
pants are smart yoga pants so you might be like, "I don't know what that means"
and I definitely felt the same way
Wow they're soft
there are these embedded pulse points at various areas around the pants here here
right yeah all right so I've got this device make sure it's charged and then
find the inside of my leg where I have these three dots see them and I'm gonna
match up this device with it Oh it's snapped in! then you download the app on your
phone and when you open it it prompts you to connect your device to the phone
through bluetooth and then you go in and you double tap on the device until you
see that it lights up and that's how you know it's connected to your phone
connected huh so on my app it has all these yoga poses and I'm gonna select
downward dog downward dog move into a plank pose with your arms shoulder width
apart your legs long and your back flat press into your hands and lift your hips
to the ceiling straighten your arms but avoid locking your elbows by slightly
engaging your biceps. and then the purpose of the pulse points on the pants
is that the vibrations will guide you on where to focus your attention so that
you can move into the pose on your own terms the app allows users to track
their progress and to design their own flow and practice so there's really a
lot you can do with it. I personally prefer doing yoga at a studio out of the
house because I love having teachers there to guide me but I think that these
wearable X pants are probably a great alternative when I can't get to class or
maybe when I'm traveling and I'm on the road and I want to be able to do yoga on
my own but I still want to make sure I'm doing it properly. I even put Allie in
the pants and let her try them out we just had a lot of fun
I like the breathable mesh ready to do some yoga? ready! but by midday we
had to take them off because I had a very exciting appointment as you guys
know I got engaged recently to my high school boyfriend Michael - that sounds
like he is in high school currently - he's 26 now but we met in high school
our wedding is still a year away but I made an appointment to try on wedding
dresses for the first time we are at my very first wedding dress Try-on session
we went to Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City which is actually where they film
the TV show "Say Yes To The Dress" and I tried on a wide range of dresses I still
don't know exactly what I'm looking for but there are certain styles that I've
pinned on my Pinterest board and I've sent photos up to my mom so we sort of
had an idea of the types of dresses I wanted to try on and I'm gonna be honest
I did not know what to expect because I've never put on a wedding dress before
not only that but I've also just never put on a gown I was really surprised in
that I liked almost everything
so now I'm just more confused than when I went in because I don't know what
style to look for and actually it would be really helpful if you guys would
comment below and let me know which one you like the best because then maybe I
can just gauge your opinion. once we left the bridal shop it was almost 6 p.m. and
Allie and I had a nighttime yoga class to get to as you might know we do yoga
together pretty much every weekend we always go to our favorite studio
Laughing Lotus and yesterday there happened to be some event going on in
the main lobby and so they were giving away free food and there was body
painting I got my arms painted up and down with some squiggles and glitter and
then we went in for our evening class I actually wore my wearable X yoga
pants to the class just because they were so comfortable the class was harder
than most I have to say it was pretty sweaty class
that's over note to self don't do yoga with bangs out on your forehead because
you start to sweat and it's just not good
and then as soon as yoga was over Allie and I were having a major craving for
pasta so we went to Eataly and we got our classic cacio e pepe and penne pomodoro.
if you're coming to New York and you want pasta go to the Italy pizza and
pasta ba.
so that's it I just wanted to take you guys into that amazing Saturday because
I feel really fortunate to have a twin sister who is my best friend who lives
in my city who I get to do so many fun things with and I just want to share
that with you guys so I hope you guys liked getting a little glimpse into our
Saturday and comment below to let me know what other parts of my life you
guys want to take a peek into once again please subscribe to my channel if you
haven't yet click on the little bell in the description box below if you want to
be alerted via email every time a new one of these videos goes up and give
this video a thumbs up if you liked it see you next time bye
