that this bag with little charger inside is worth $22 I think that's a fair price

because the little bag is a good quality little bag and then the little Chargers

like it's a decent quality charger it looks like it's just that it's like not

gonna last very long so you know I think that's that's a pretty fair price for

this the next thing in here is this Elemis anti-aging day cream I do really like

the packaging it's really sleek and it's like glass and you know it doesn't look

cheap mmm it smells beautiful I love this smell mm-hmm

and just seems to rub right into the skin so I really like this one this is

this is really nice so my information sheet tells me that this cream has a

manufacturer's suggested retail price of $89 I know that like higher end creams

can go for you know that kind of scratch but I don't think I would pay $90 for a

face cream so I'm glad to have this but I don't think I would I don't think I

would repurchase this for $90 just in general like I wouldn't buy any any face

cream for $90 the next thing I got was this Suva Beauty protege palette and I

love Suva beauty I've only ever purchased one other palette from Suva

beauty and that was the block party palette if you look at the color story

of the block party palette versus this palette it's pretty different I really

love the quality and formula of in terms of pigmentation certainly of Suva Beauty

shadows so I'm sure that I'm gonna like this however I literally have every

color in here in some other way shape or form and likely I probably have a

palette that has all of these colors in it so it's just not that exciting to me

but I am grateful to have it I like Suva beauty I'm happy to try another

product from them

so this palette retails for $34 I think that's a fair price for a makeup palette

and I really like Suva beauty stuff so yeah I'm happy I'm happy to have this

the next thing I got is this awesome Luxi brush set

I love Luxy brushes every single time I get them in one of my subscription boxes

I'm always so grateful to have them because they I just really like them

they always work really well and I like getting them for free so like well not

free free because like obviously you're paying for the cost of the box but I

looked on their site one time at their prices for their brushes and I was like

I will never actually spend that much money and buy these brushes so I'm

always grateful to get them in the box because I will never I will never pay

the prices that they're asking on their website it smells a little bit

chemically as I'm taking them out of the box I'm just gonna have to let them air

have it occasion it comes with this pro precision face brush it comes with this

tapered highlight brush a round top blender I probably use this for

foundation comes with this tapered blending brush comes with this shading

brush this brow and lash brush I have a million of these so I don't know

I mean I'll use it but then it comes with this lip brush I like how it has

like a little pocket so you can put the lip brush away in so my product

information sheet tells me that these are worth $65 I think that's actually a

fair price for eight brushes of this quality like I know I really like this

brand so I know that I can speak to the quality's brushes at least in my

experience I've always really enjoyed luck see brushes so I think that that's

worth it I think that $65 is a fair price for these this next product is the

grande lash mascara I have tried this before it's a pretty good product I like

it I mean I think I still have another one of these somewhere so cool an extra

I liked it it's not my favorite mascara everybody a works

fine so it says that this mascara is $25 I would not pay $25 for this mascara

if I had $25 I would not buy this mascara I would buy Too Faced better

than sex or benefits they're real right so to me this mascara is not worth $25

maybe like this is sort of like a $10 mascara to me like it's it's just okay

next thing I got in my box is this pretty vulgar translucent powder can we

take a moment and just admire the cuteness of the packaging because it's

adorable so there's almost an ounce of product in this package point eight

ounces which is kind of a lot because it's just powder and then you open it up

and there's this cute little powder puff and then underneath the seal there's a

sifter the packaging is just so adorable and 0.88 ounces of product is a really

decent amount like it's so cute like this is raised too it's not just printed

on there it's raised this has an MSRP of $32 I've never tried this before so I

don't want to say whether or not it's worth $32 to me honestly translucent

powders in terms of a product are not that difficult to formulate and there's

a lot of really good ones out there I would highly recommend been nice

translucent powder and you can get that for really cheap I'll leave like a link

somewhere below and I'll see if I can find it but that's what I have I also

really like Laura Mercier's translucent powder so there's just a lot of good

ones out there so for $32 would I buy this maybe maybe not but the packaging

is really cute so there are people like doing like leaf removal activity at my

neighbor's house across the street and I hope that you can't like that the Mike

does not pick up the um like the leaf blower sound in the background so I'm

sorry I'm gonna see if I can edit it out as much as I can but if you can hear it

I'm really sorry so the next product in my boxyluxe box is this Tartist ship

is this TARDIS shimmering lip paint it is in instafamous that is what that

looks like there's a slight shimmer a slight sheen I think it's more of a lip

topper the next item I received is this Pro HG palette by violet Voss this would

actually be my first violet Voss product I've ever owned I have been attracted to

their products but not to their price point so high I've never just gone and

picked anything up from them this is what the palette looks like I have the

same comment about this palette as I did about the Suva Beauty protege palette

which is just that I literally own all of these colors in some palette

somewhere so the MSRP for this palette is $45 that's fine I really I really

won't know if this palette is worth $45 to me until I try it but to be honest

with you I don't know how much use this is gonna get out of me since I already

own all these shades and I kind of already have tried tested and true

versions of all these colors so I'm not sure I'm just not I'm just not sure how

much use this palette is gonna get out of me the last thing I want to show you

is this spongelle sponge it looks like this it's just a star sponge and

basically the concept is that it already has like it smells really nice and it

already has like stuff in it and you're just supposed to wash yourself with the

stuff that's already on the sponge it says it is formulated with extracts of

yuzu Edelweiss and vetiver and I'm probably pronouncing like half of those

incorrectly but that's what it says is infused in this sponge and it's supposed

to exfoliate you and clean you and all that stuff so this smells amazing I will

definitely enjoy using this it says that it retails for $20 I don't think it

should be that much I think it should be me we were closer to $10 but overall

thoughts about my boxy luxe I definitely definitely got my money's worth out of

it I really like the price of this box like $50 for all this

is highly highly worth it just the set of Luxy brushes alone I feel like I got

Why NASA Spun Astronauts Around, But Doesn't Any More - Duration: 3:13.

- I'm at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama,

and this is the Multi-Axis Trainer, or MAT.

Otherwise known as that spinny thing that astronauts get strapped into.

This is an icon of space exploration and space training.

And it looks really fun, or really terrifying,

depending on how close you are to it.

But what does it actually do?

- You ready? - No!

- Eyes open.

- Whoa.

- When you come to Space Camp, you typically

ride the MAT for no longer than 45 seconds.

The MAT spins on three different axes and three different rings.

The outer ring is locked. The centre ring is powered by a motor,

and then the inner ring is free spinning.

And then inside that is a chair that is also spinning on a different axis.

While you're riding the MAT, you don't spin in more than one direction

twice in a row, so you don't get dizzy or nauseous,

but you do get disoriented.

It's a very important difference that they feel.

As your stomach stays in the centre of rotation,

you're gonna get a lot of blood and momentum feeling

in your head and your feet.

Most people love the feeling of the Multi-Axis Trainer.

They love the feeling of being disoriented

without being dizzy, which is a really rare experience

for most roller coasters or simulators like this.

It's based off of something called the MASTIF,

which was used during the Mercury programme.

The MASTIF was actually a series of cages around a central chair.

The MAT is a series of rings.

During the 1960s, astronauts in the Mercury and Gemini programs

would need to train on something like the MASTIF

because of the shape of their vehicle.

It's a capsule and it would spin very erratically

if something were going wrong.

Unlike the Shuttle astronauts where they were in something more plane-shaped,

and so when something is going wrong in a plane

it doesn't act the same.

- So the Mercury astronauts weren't just strapped

into this thing's big brother to disorient them.

It was training, if something -- oh! -- like this is happening in space,

then your mission has gone disastrously wrong.

In training, they would be spun up to anything up to 30 revolutions a minute,

much faster than this, with much higher G forces.

And then the trainer would hand the controls over to them.

The astronaut's chair would [groans]

have controls on it connected to nitrogen gas thrusters.

They would have to work out which way they were spinning

in three dimensions, in real time. [groans]

And then they would have to figure out how to make it stop.

For me, it's a little bit easier.

Could we uh, could we make this stop, please?

- The MAT was never used to actually train astronauts.

We only use it as a simulator here at Space Camp.

I've actually ridden the MAT as well.

We had to do it for training.

I like to say that most people don't get dizzy,

because there are some people who do.

I'm one of them!

- I completely forgot to do the outro.

iOS 13 Wishlist - Duration: 7:49.

hi everyone Aaron here for ZolloTech & iOS 13 is something we should see in

June or so almost about 6 months away at this point at the worldwide developer

conference that's where Apple shows off the next version every single year now

they could change that it could be sooner could be later but typically

that's when it is and this past year in 2018 they didn't change the way iOS

looked because they push that off to the following year to make some refinements

to iOS so that would be more stable whether that means iOS 12 its kind of

arguably stable and sometimes not as stable as iOS 11 most people think iOS

10 was the most stable of the most recent version but basically many of you

have asked me what features do do I want to see or what do you think will be in

the next one so I want to talk about that and the first thing is the icons

you can see this is where we went to the flattened design icons and I've actually

never been a fan of them they're fine you get used to them but if we look at

the previous generation this is iOS 6 and this is what it looked like before

with skeuomorphic design so what that means is it's meant to feel more like

things in your air in your area or around you so if I go to the weather we

still know we're in the phone window but we have a nice little graphic there if

we pull down the notifications it has sort of a fabric or a linen texture to

it and that was done on purpose to make it feel familiar the multitasking is

very different and everything just has this different more I guess organic feel

to it where I liked it a lot I do think they could have updated it a little bit

compared to what it is now I think it would have looked somewhere better in

between skeuomorphism and what we have today instead of extreme whites we have

had various versions of this this is iOS 9 you'll see if we slide up from the

bottom there's the notification spinner and then also the control center very

different from today we don't have a control center on iOS 6 or older so the

first thing I'd like to see is a complete icon redesign and home screen

redesign many people including myself are annoyed that I cannot move these

icons where I wash able to have clear space in the middle

or clean space and not have to file them left to right top to bottom if I want

Instagram or some other app up here I should be able to put it there leave it

there and have the apps not move around and shuffle I understand that's good for

organization but not everybody is organized that way or thinks that way

and you may want to customize it more I also think could be beneficial to have

some of these widgets be able to be on your homescreen wherever you'd like them

and then also this display I'd like to see as always on and what I mean by that

if you're not familiar with that is similar to an Android phone because

they're OLED displays this takes very low power or it could be on a charging

dock at night and be your alarm clock like this one it takes very low power

and it's just black and white gives you your notifications and then when you

want to turn it on you turn it on but it's always on no matter what and it

takes such little power that it's very doable now the next thing is a dark mode

and I don't mean the dark mode like they do in accessibility or that they do on

Mac I mean a true dark mode where the background is completely black in

different apps so maybe I go to music and all this white space is now black

and you have less on the screen that will really improve efficiency of the

battery over time because the less pixels that are on the less power you're

going to use so in some areas here where you have a ton of white space you could

almost gain half of the screen as far as having the thing turned off and saving

that amount of power if you see that all throughout you'd gain a lot of screen

time I think as far as your battery life so I think that would be really good the

next thing I really like to see is them changing settings if I go into the

camera app I should have my settings to control the frame rate in the camera

shouldn't have to go out go to settings go down to photo or wherever it is

change all those settings and then go back over and then go back in and do

everything I should be able to do it right here and hopefully they change

that it's really goofy it doesn't make a whole lot of sense especially in a

camera app or some of the other apps if I want settings for whether they should

be in weather specific to those apps I think that would be much better as far

as using this overall also I'd like to see

Aqaba laps and what I mean by that is you can do this in jailbroken iPhones

but lockable apps such as you tap on an app it asks for a password and has a

little lock on it maybe I don't want my kids in the App Store instead of

deleting it maybe I want them to put a password not just on the app but the app

store itself or a different app or notes can do this but pretty much nothing else

can so maybe I don't want someone using them I can lock the apps individually

and some apps do include this such as things like one password they can do it

individually by programming it but it would be nice to have it universal

throughout the operating system the next thing that would be really nice is

multiple users especially on iPads on an iPad to have multiple users I think

would be highly beneficial because let's face it many people have a couple iPads

or one iPad in the house depending some people have them for school just depends

where you live but if you have an iPad and you want to share it with a family

member you should be able to customize it just like you can on a Mac I just

want separate logins so separate for logins would be great maybe just to pull

down here switch accounts something like that would be really nice and the next

thing I'd love to see is dedicated I pad Ohio s so what I mean by that is this is

really limited this grid is very goofy for something this big they need to

change this and have a dedicated operating system while I'm not holding

my breath for that I'm really hoping they do something where it would be more

specific to iPad maybe iPad OS and iPhone OS something like that and a lot

of people have expressed wanting something like that meaning we can open

the App Store and then just open everything and it has to fit in this

window we could do a lot more with it productivity wise if we had different

sizing options and all sorts of things I think a dedicated OS would be really

really welcomed by most people now my final thing I'd like to see is a real

version of Safari not a little mobile version a real version we press this we

press this again let me see if I can get this to work here there we go requests

desktop site we can do this and it works but I want a real desktop site where it

works all the time you'll see this is my website the mobile version there's

actually a nominal version and I'd like to be able to just

use that especially on iPad so those are all the things I want I don't know that

I would use dark mode that much I actually find that on the Mac I don't

use it a lot because it's so dark and kind of depressing over time but if it's

for power savings that's fine but they actually make it gray on the Mac and not

completely black so it's not really a true dark mode for that reason but on

all these devices I think we would benefit and I think they could put it

all the way back to the SE or 5s and still get an update but I can't wait to

see what they have for us in June let me know what you want the most in the

- Probably the biggest lesson I've learned

is that overnight success takes 10 years.

- I think it's fair to say that 2018

has been a phenomenal year for you as a video creator.

So what do you think you've learned in 2018?

- When you really focus on being better,

the results that you want will find you.

- Collaborations are important.

- Developing a strategy around growth

and not just letting the chips fall where they may.

- Probably the biggest lesson I've learned

is that overnight success takes 10 years.

And you gotta put that work in when nobody else

is appreciating you, maybe encouraging you

and you gotta actually work harder than the results

you're getting so that later you can get

results bigger than how hard you're working.

- When you look at where you're at as a YouTuber

and you work hard to produce better videos,

whether that's better audio,

better editing, better storytelling,

better lighting, whatever the case may be,

then you will dramatically improve things

and the other thing I wanna say about being better

is it's not necessarily being technically better

but being different is also a form of being better.

- Whenever I run into other people,

even if we didn't even film a video,

just things that I can learn from people.

That knowledge that I could take in

is so important and so powerful.

I would like to encourage more people to get out,

interact with people, have conversations.

There's so much that you can learn from other people

that many people don't realize.

- I guess the best piece of advice

was to fix my thumbnails.

Once I started doing thumbnails differently

than other food bloggers did,

I started putting my face on them

then it just it grew rapidly from there.

So the thumbnails were a huge thing for me.

- The YouTube AI is super smart

and it is learning and so,

doing the basics, the things that you're teaching

on this channel, and spending a little bit more time

on the basics of putting out amazing content.

- Key words.

I'll say that over and over again.

The key words have helped quite a bit.

We started doing a lot more research into trends

but then I absolutely use the VidIQ tools

to check out the popularity of stuff.

- Listening to people a lot smarter than us.

We wanted to learn from people

that are where we wanna be and if you listen

and take advice and apply what applies to your channel,

you'll see it grow.

There's people like you guys

that have done massive, massive amounts of research.

Been and this is the jail cell and the door can open cool

And it can also lock like that now no one's getting out and this is where the policeman stores always gear

Handcuff, and there's the policeman logo and there's also lights for the policemen to see in the dark. They can catch the bad guys

There's two lights on both sides. This is the computer station

Look, there's the map you can see the security cameras of where the bad guys are. Wow

You can even see the front entrance and this part it's a computer station

There's a security camera to the outside. There's this keyboard and even a microphone. Wow, this set is so cool
