10 Child Prodigies to Make You Feel Lazy - Duration: 9:57.

It's important to feel proud of yourself.

It's also important not to compare yourself negatively to others.

It's not you vs. the world; it's you vs. you.

But sometimes others can act as inspiration.

If you can look at others accomplishments without jealousy, as motivation, then they

can be helpful.

We hope you will try to keep that in mind as we list off these kids who have accomplished

stuff that the prime, adult version of you probably never could.

10.

Shane Thomas

Music is full of impressive child prodigies.

Mozart, Beethoven, Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber.

Go ahead, get mad.

Those are the names we're going with.

But, let's add another less well-known name to the list: Shane Thomas.

Shane is an Irish kid who's really good at classical music.

He started playing piano at age seven, and according to his dad, he could play almost

instantly by ear.

Now, whether that part is true or not, he's clearly very talented.

You can check out some of his music on his website.

He released an album with a "major music publisher" as a teenager.

At age 15, he also composed a symphony for the BBC in only 3 weeks.

His dad claims he can write songs while playing computer games, and that many of his compositions

come to him in dreams.

This sounds made up to us.

Maybe his dad should chill out with the mystical claims of greatness?

But that's probably not gonna happen.

Here's another quote from his dad: "What he's doing for the BBC's Music Day is

right up there with the capability that Mozart demonstrated as a child prodigy."

OK.

We're not sure about that, but it is very impressive what he's accomplished at such

a young age.

Good job, Shane.

But try not to let your dad convince you you're a god or something.

9.

Brighton Zeuner

How old were you the first time you won a medal at the X-Games?

Most skaters are probably in their 20s or late teens.

Some of you reading probably don't even have any medals!

Slackers.

This makes what this teen recently accomplished even more impressive.

Brighton is a 13-year-old skater from Encinitas, California, which sounds like the city that

all skateboarders come from.

We assume everyone there rides their skateboards to work.

We bet they pick the leaders of the town through a skateboarding event of some kind.

Well, there's a new sheriff in town, and her name is Brighton Zeuner.

Brighton competed in a X-Games skating event just 12 hours after she turned 13… and she

won the gold medal, becoming the youngest gold medalist ever.

Make sure you check out just how radical (is that a word skaters still use?) she is in

the video above.

It's got some pretty boring commentary, so we recommend you turn on some '90s rock

music in the background instead.

We recommend some Goldfinger.

Then you should probably go play one of the old Tony Hawk games.

8.

Anthony Russo

Plenty of people tell themselves they're going to run a 5K, or 10K, or whatever…

eventually.

But they never seem to get around to it.

If you're one of those people, prepare to feel really lazy.

Anthony Russo is one of those people who told themselves they were going to run a half-marathon.

The difference between him and most people is that he actually did it.

Oh, also, he was 5-years-old at the time, and he was actually pretty fast.

He's the youngest person in the US to complete a half-marathon in under two and a half hours.

According to his parents, he doesn't see running as work.

Apparently, he sees it as fun.

He really enjoys running amounts that would have the average adult wheezing like a motion

sick General Grievous.

And before the half-marathon, he was happily training like a madman, running up to 40 miles

per week.

When he was asked about it by a newspaper, he replied, "It's a cool thing to do."

Most of us would not be interested in running with him, but we admit that it is indeed cool.

7.

Carissa Yip

Chess is a game usually dominated by men in their 30s, but 12-year-old Carissa Yip of

Massachusetts can beat most of them.

Carissa started learning chess from her father at age 6, and she's been breaking records

since she began playing competitively.

She's the youngest person to ever reach the National Master rank, which she achieved

at 11.

Two years earlier, she was the youngest person to ever reach the title of expert.

And right before her 11th birthday, she became the youngest female player to ever beat a

grandmaster.

Among girls under 14, she's already ranked number 1 in the US, and 6th in the world.

She also won the North American Under 20 girls championship last year.

She's apparently so good she doesn't need to look at the board.

She showed an interviewer how she could play with her back to the board, keeping track

in her head and telling her dad where to move her pieces.

And, in the same spirit, we have decided to write the next paragraph with our backs facing

the computer.

Well, that didn't turn out so well.

Guess we need to practice more.

6.

Jamie Edwards

Jamie Edwards is a normal teenage boy who happens to dabble in nuclear fission.

He calls himself an "amateur nuclear scientist."

At the age of 13, he broke a record, becoming the youngest "fusionner" in history.

What exactly does that mean?

It means he got the materials and did the science necessary to carry out atomic fusion.

How'd he even have the resources to do that?

He showed his school a presentation explaining why he should be allowed to build a nuclear

fusion reactor, and they gave him $3,350.

Wait, so he just asked his school for money, and they gave it to him?

If we knew about this back in middle school, we'd have probably have become scientists

too.

Or at least we would have gotten an Xbox a lot earlier.

5.

Duo Duo

How old would you guess the world's youngest pilot is?

Somewhere in the teens, probably.

Maybe 14?

Well, we should probably be safe and go ahead and guess 13.

Ok then, 13.

And we'd be wrong.

Duo Duo (a nickname) was the world's youngest pilot at the age of 5.

He successfully piloted a plane around 1,000 feet above Beijing, becoming the world's

youngest ever solo pilot.

He's also done a few other notable things, mostly as a result of his father (Eagle Dad,

as he likes to be called) meticulously planning his daily activities.

We'll admit that Eagle Dad's activities do sound more fun than those usually imposed

by Tiger Moms.

Duo Duo was also the world's youngest sailor and was planning to bike through the Tibetan

Plateau.

And apparently, he's "the youngest person to start an investment company."

These accomplishments come at a price, as Duo Duo wakes up at 6:30 a.m., a time usually

reserved for birds and old men who still read newspapers.

But, his dad says that he does it because "Chinese parents spoil their child too much."

His dad might be seen as going too far, but his motivations seem to be mostly good.

And also, he's not totally strict.

As Duo Duo says, "On Sunday, I can even watch movies."

4.

Farhad Nouri

If you were a 10-year-old Afghan boy living in a migrant camp in Serbia, what do you think

you would spend your time doing?

If you said you'd get really good at drawing and painting and acquire the nickname 'Little

Picasso', you may in fact be Farhad Nouri.

Farhad learned some basic art from his father beginning at age 6, but he has recently been

learning more by watching YouTube videos.

He says he does plan to draw a portrait of Picasso, and he's already drawn Angela Merkel,

Salvador Dali, and Angelina Jolie.

He says that art has helped him to deal with being stuck in the refugee camp.

Not surprisingly, he hopes to be a painter when he grows up and wants to live in Switzerland

or the US.

He hasn't won any awards or anything, but there probably aren't many to be had for

a 10-year-old in Serbia.

His work is quite impressive, especially considering his circumstances.

Good job, Farhad.

3.

Lots of Golfers

Golf is a game for retired people, right?

Well, that's the stereotype.

It is a game that can be played at an older age than most, it usually takes money to play

(which old people have), and if you play a round you'll probably see some grandparents

out there.

But of course there are exceptions.

Almost everyone's heard of Tiger Woods, who at age 2 went on The Mike Douglas Show,

then at age 8 was invited on Good Morning America to show off his skills, and later

became the youngest ever Masters champion at the age of 21, a time when many of us were

most well known for how many beers we could chug.

Maybe you've also heard of Michelle Wie, who started playing at age 4 and joined the

LPGA when she was only 12.

She later became the youngest USGA Champion in an adult event.

She turned professional shortly before her 16th birthday.

She later attended Stanford, but was not allowed on the golf team as she was already a pro.

There are several other young golfers we could highlight, but there's not enough room in

this article for all of them.

So we're just going to include a link to one at random.

And the winner is…

Shubham Jaglan, a 13-year-old who has already won 100 tournaments, including the Junior

World Golf Championship.

So, we guess the lesson here is that even if a competition is meant for older people,

that doesn't mean you can't start earlier if you want.

We're excited to soon hear about the 8-year-old World Knitting Championship winner.

2.

Tyler Armstrong

What did this kid do?

Did he run a 4 minute mile?

No.

Is he a professional hockey player?

Nope, sorry.

OK, last guess: he boxes kangaroos.

Please tell us he fights kangaroos.

Unfortunately, he doesn't have time for kangaroos… because he's spending his time

climbing up freaking mountains.

He started out back when he was seven, when he decided to climb over 14,500 feet up Mount

Whitney, the tallest mountain in the US outside of Alaska.

He climbed it in one day, and was the youngest person to do so.

The year after that, he became the second youngest human to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

And then, at 9-years-old, he became the youngest ever to climb 22,841 feet up Mount Aconcagua

in Argentina, the tallest mountain in both the western and southern hemisphere.

Wait a second… do they just let anyone climb mountains?

Are there not rules about this?

Actually, there are.

Tyler just doesn't care.

Mount Kilimanjaro's normal age limit is 10, but he applied for a special permit to

head up a year early, and they said yes.

So, we guess the lesson here is that if you don't like a rule, just ask and they'll

let you break it.

He did the same thing with Aconcagua.

The limit there is 14, but he asked for permission, so they let him climb it five years early.

Maybe we should have applied for a drinking permit at age 16.

So, why's he climbing mountains?

Just for fun?

He's doing it to raise money and awareness about Duchenne, a kind of muscular dystrophy.

To describe why he's doing it, Tyler said, "They can't walk, and that's like the

opposite of me … I want them to climb with me when we find a cure."

1.

Kim Jong-un

Yes, that's right.

Kim Jong-un was a multitalented child prodigy with near magical levels of ability.

At least, that's what students in North Korea are learning.

In 2015, teachers were issued manuals that list many of Kim's great accomplishments.

We'll let you decide whether this manual should be trusted, but if so, Kim was one

truly amazing kid.

According to the books, Kim learned to drive at the age of 3 and was winning yacht races

by the time he was 9.

Apparently, he even won a race against a foreign yacht company CEO.

He's also supposedly a great artist and musical composer.

These claims are somewhat hard to believe, but they're nothing compared to the claims

about his father.

Kim Jong-il, according to official North Korean doctrine, wrote 1,500 books during his time

in college and also penned six operas, "all of which are better than any in the history

of music."

He also once golfed a 38 under par, making 11 holes in one.

And here's the catch: he never golfed before that and he never golfed after that.

That's right, that was the one and only time he picked up a golf club.

Truly incredible and inspiring.

What a family!

7 OUT OF MANY ASTRONAUTS WHO TOLD THE WORLD WE ARE BEING VISIT - Duration: 10:23.

7 (OUT OF MANY) ASTRONAUTS WHO TOLD THE WORLD WE ARE BEING VISITED & WHAT THEY SAID

BY ARJUN WALIANOVEMBER

The UFO/extraterrestrial issue continues to gain the attention of the masses. This comes

as a result of multiple factors, one being of them being the onslaught of credibility

thats been accredited to it, in the form of official previously classified government

documents, some of which provide some startling details about UFO encounters with the military.

And there are no shortage of statements; there are hundreds of them, if not thousands, in

fact. Whistleblowers include generals, colonels, pilots, astronauts, and defence contractors,

with the latest example being the recent launch of Tom Delonges To The Stars academy. His

team recently held a livestream video letting the public know that UFOs are real, and they

involve a physics we have yet to comprehend.

The director of the academy, Stephen Justice, recently retired from being the Program Director

for Advanced Systems of Lockheed Martin, better known as the Skunk Works. Another member

of the academy is Louis Elizondo. A career intelligence officer, his experience includes

working in the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense, and the National Counterintelligence

Executive, and he spent time as the Director of National Intelligence.

They have now joined the long list of individuals to emphasize to the world that yes, UFOs are

real. As far as whether or not these craft are extraterrestrial, based on the evidence

we have in the form of testimony, and the mere physics these craft are displaying, it

seems safe to say that some of them are.

The evidence available for the existence of UFOs that can perform maneuvers no known human

craft can exceeds the evidence for more accepted scientific phenomena, such as black holes,

yet few people take UFOs seriously.

Behind the scenes, high ranking air force officers are soberly concerned about the UFOs.

But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe that the

unknown flying objects are nonsense.

Former Head of the CIA Roscoe Hillenkoetter, 1960

The UFO topic is a big one, and requires a lot of research to understand whats really

going on. Even if you do that, youll probably be left more confused than you were when you

started.

One thing we can say for certain, even within the mainstream, is that UFOs are real. What

they are, who is operating them, why they are here, and what they want, is an entirely

different set of questions. There are tremendous implications here, from technology to other

areas of science, human history, and more that will need to be explored.

Its the greatest story in human history, and one that weve covered extensively with

multiple detailed, heavily sourced articles. To read those articles, in the order of most

recent to latest, you can visit the exopolitics section of our website.

Edgar Mitchell

Dr. Edgar Mitchell is a man of many experiences. For one, he was the sixth man to walk on the

moon. He is a former Navy Captain, author, and lecturer. His academic background includes

a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, a Postgraduate Science degree

from the U.S. Naval School and Doctor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT.

He has received honorary doctorates in engineering from New Mexico State University, the University

of Akron, and ScD from Embry-Riddle University, as well as many other honours and awards.

He is the founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and the co-founder of the Association

of Space Explorers. Clearly, hes a man who has been around and had contact with a

number of people at NASA, the military, and within the academic field, which is why its

so interesting to listen to what he had to say while he was still with us.

Yes there have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered. . . . We are not alone in

the universe, they have been coming here for a long time. . . . I happen to be privileged

enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited on this planet, and the UFO phenomenon

is real.

Doctor Edgar Mitchell, sixth man to walk on the moon

Brian OLeary

Dr Brian OLeary was a member of the sixth group of astronauts selected by NASA in August

1967. He, like many others on this list, has a lengthy resume. A colleague of the renowned

Carl Sagan, he taught as a physics professor at Cornell, alongside Sagan, as well as at

Princeton University for some time.

Related CE Article: Ex NASA Astronaut & Princeton Physics Professor Says His Colleague Carl

Sagan Fudged Evidence of Extraterrestrial Beings.

The clip below was taken from the Thrive documentary.

Gordan Cooper

Gordon Cooper is a former NASA astronaut, aeronautical engineer, and test pilot. He

was one of the seven original astronauts in Project Mercury, the first manned space program

of the United States:

In my opinion I think they were worried that it would panic the public if they knew that

someone had vehicles that had this kind of performance . . . so they started telling

lies about it. And then I think they had to cover another lie, you know, tell another

lie to cover their first lie, now they dont know how to get out of it. Now its going

to be so embarrassing to admit that all these administrations have told a lot of untruths

. . . [and that] there are a number of extraterrestrial vehicles out there cruising around.

Story Musgrave

Story Musgrave is an American physician, known as the most formally educated astronaut with

six academic degrees. He was the second astronaut to fly on six spaceflights.

Story has made multiple comments about the UFO phenomenon and possible extraterrestrial

beings. Hes shown up to several international UFO conferences to discuss the topic. He,

unlike the others, is very careful, and seems to constantly reiterate the fact that he has

no evidence available, and cannot say anything for certain.

That being said, he was filmed at a conference making some very interesting comments.

So, if you look at technological development, maybe weve been at it 100-200 years, industrial

revolution, but if you look at some planet and some creatures that got it together, they

were able to build technology over millions of years, theyre doing star travel.

Hes the third astronaut you see below. This video, and more content on this topic,

can be found on our CE Disclosure Facebook page.

Viktor Mikhailovich Afanasyev

Mikhailovich is a Russian astronaut and Air Force Colonel. He was a test cosmonaut of

the YU.A. Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. He has logged more than 2,000 flight hours

in more than 40 different aircraft.

In addition to this, he has logged more than 550 days in space, as well as 7 EVAs (activity

in orbit outside of the spacecraft) totalling 38.44 hours. You can view some more of his

accomplishments here.

He says, I think that we are not alone in the universe, I believe that someone, or

something of extraterrestrial origin, has visited Earth.

When speaking about a UFO encounter he and his crew had in space, he stated:

It followed us during half of our orbit, we observed it on the light side and when we

entered the shadow side it disappeared completely. It was an engineering structure made from

some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. . . . Inside there

were openings, the object stayed very close to us, we photographed it, and our photo showed

it to be 23 to 28 meters away.

Deke Slayton

Deke Slayton was one of the original NASA Mercury astronauts, just like his colleague

Gordon Cooper. He eventually became the first Chief of the Astronaut Office, and in 1975,

he was assigned as the docking module pilot of the Apollo Soyuz Test project, making him

the oldest person to fly in space at the time.

Below is a video of him describing his UFO encounter.

It looked like a saucer sitting on edge, about a 45 degree angle. . . . It took off,

climbed at about a 45 degree angle, and just accelerated and disappeared.

Al Worden

Al Worden is a retired Air Force colonel and engineer who was the Command Module pilot

for the Apollo 15 lunar mission in 1971. He is one of 24 people who have flown to the

Moon.

In the interview below, Al Worden shares his beliefs about extraterrestrials:

We are the aliens, but we just think theyre somebody else, but were the ones who came

from somewhere else. Because somebody else had to survive, and they got in a little space

craft and they came here and they landed and they started civilization here, thats what

I believe. And if you dont believe me, go get books on the ancient Sumerians and

see what they had to say about it, theyll tell you right up front.

Interesting to think about, and it makes you wonder how much insider information he has

been privy to that would persuade his beliefs in this area.

Things You Didn't Know About Kacy Catanzaro - Duration: 4:51.

Kacy Catanzaro is a superstar competitor who inspired generations of future female athletes

when she became the first woman to finish the American Ninja Warrior obstacle course

and qualify for the final.

But there's a lot more to her than her jaw-dropping strength and athleticism on the course.

Here's what Catanzaro's life is like when she's not competing on TV.

Gymnastics star

Catanzaro had great training to prepare her to become a Warrior.

She told Esquire magazine that she started gymnastics when she was just four or five

years old and dropped everything else to pursue the sport.

In her college years, Catanzaro went on to join the Division One gymnastics team at Towson

University.

After college, she set her sights on Ninja Warrior, and she believes that her training

as a gymnast helped her succeed.

She told ESPN,

"When you get to the competition, most people don't know how their body will react to the

pressure.

But I do.

I've competed literally hundreds of times in gymnastics and trained how to do what I

need to do at just the right time."

It's the climb

We all have songs that motivate us, and it turns out that Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" is

on Catanzaro's playlist.

During a 2014 interview with Esquire, she confessed to being a fan of the Cyrus tune,

and not just because it's a song about kicking butt.

She explained,

"It's like, 'Endure the journey that you take to reach your top moment.

You might not get there right now but when you do, remember what you did to get there."

Warrior's best friend

Catanzaro has a major love for animals, but there was one in particular who really stole

her heart — her beloved dog, Mr. Mogley.

However, in 2017, when she revealed that he had passed away, she chose to honor his memory

by helping other animals, and joined forces with the national animal welfare organization

Best Friends Animal Society.

Together, Catanzaro and the organization created t-shirts with Mr. Mogley's likeness, and 100

percent of all the proceeds from this shirt went towards helping the organization and

its projects.

Thanks to the ex

Catanzaro credits a lot of her success to her now ex-boyfriend and former coach, Brent

Steffensen.

When the two were still just exchanging training and diet tips, Steffensen was offered a job

in San Antonio to test out Alpha Warrior's obstacle course, and he recommended Catanzaro

as well.

The pair began working together — and that's how their romance first started.

In 2014, she told Esquire magazine,

"He moved from L.A. and I moved from New Jersey.

We met in Texas and then about two months later we started dating.

That was almost a year and a half ago, February 2013."

An additional obstacle

At five feet tall, Catanzaro often speaks about her height and how it's been a disadvantage

to her.

She told Esquire that her size made it harder to compete on American Ninja Warrior, saying,

"Being so short is definitely a disadvantage.

In Dallas, there was part of the course where the guys could swing and with one arm reach

the next obstacle.

I had to wind up, swing, and actually let go and catch the next one with both hands.

My body was like mush at the end."

"I've been small my whole life and I've never let that hold me back before and I'm definitely

not gonna start now."

On the bright side

Perhaps one of the greatest things about Catanzaro is that she always looks on the bright side

of things, and her social media is a treasure trove of motivational messages.

Not long after conquering the American Ninja Warrior course in 2014, Catanzaro revealed

to Vulture that while she wanted to push her own boundaries, she also wanted to inspire

other women to do the same.

She said,

"I want to do these things to prove to myself, but like I've said before, I also wanted to

make these big steps for everyone, for all the women out there and for everybody else

that thinks that they can't do something or that they have an excuse."

"Kacy is the reason why I started American Ninja Warrior."

"That's right, ladies, woo!"

American pride

Catanzaro has a lot of love and respect for those who serve in the United States military

— her current boyfriend, Dave Reid, is one of them — and she has taken to Instagram

to praise veterans.

In a Memorial Day post, she wrote about how we should be grateful "for the men and women

who gave it all and have died while serving in this country's armed forces."

She also thanked those currently serving, saying that "the words never seem like enough"

and that they "deserve the greatest of thanks."

Catanzaro also praised Reid, who seven years ago was injured in Afghanistan by stepping

through a doorway that was rigged with an I.E.D.

From warrior to wrestler

Unfortunately, in 2017, Catanzaro retired from Ninja Warrior — but this also spurred

her transition into wrestling.

"No one has been a more inspirational figure to women, men, and the entire Ninja community.

Mighty Kacy will be missed."

World Wrestling Entertainment announced that Catanzaro was joining the company during a

taping for the Mae Young Classic.

Catanzaro spoke to USA Today in August 2017 about how she used to watch wrestling as a

kid, and how she was excited to take on the new challenge.

After multiple offers to join WWE, she was finally ready to accept.

She said,

"For a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be brought to me a handful of times — I knew

that it was rare, and I was getting older.

I want to be somewhere where I can make the biggest impact I can."

REPORT TRUMP DOSSIER DISINFORMATION ARTISTS AT FUSION GPS PAID A - Duration: 4:52.

REPORT TRUMP DOSSIER DISINFORMATION ARTISTS AT FUSION GPS PAID AT LEAST THREE AMERICAN

JOURNALISTS TO SPREAD ANTI-TRUMP PROPAGANDA

The liberal opposition research firm that was paid by the Hillary Clinton campaign to

gather disinformation on then candidate Donald Trump paid at least three journalists for

work related to the probe into supposed Russian influence in the 2016 election, according

to the House Intelligence Committee.

According to multiple media reports, lawyers representing the committee made the claim

against Fusion in a move to force the liberal company to turn over bank transactions involving

journalists, media companies, and law firms.

Thats right, multiple journalists employed by the mainstream media may have also been

taking money indirectly from the Hillary campaign to attack her political opponent.

The committee seeks transactions related to three individual journalists, each of whom

have reported on and/or been quoted in articles regarding topics related to the committees

investigation, read the House general counsel court filing.

Fusion has established a pattern and practice of using law firms as intermediaries to mask

the true beneficiaries of its research. The journalists names are blacked out in the

filing but one can safely assume that they are high-profile establishment journalists

who have broke multiple stories designed to hurt President Trump.

(Can you say Maggie Haberman?)

Documents from the House list ten different bank transactions from Fusion, or its conduits,

to the unknown journalists.

The Washington Times reported on the filing from the House while providing background

on the entire operation: Congressional committees are conducting broad

probes into Russias 2016 election interference and whether President Trump and his associates

colluded.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, California Republican, signed a subpoena

for Fusions bank records.

He wanted to determine who bankrolled a partisan unproven dossier that has become such a large

part of the FBIs, Congress and journalists investigations.

The Nunes subpoena forced the law firm Perkins Coie to admit that the Democratic National

Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign paid the bills.

The money went from Democrats to Perkins Coie to Fusion to ex-British spy Christopher Steele.

He then paid Kremlin sources for dirt on Mr. Trump.

None of Mr. Steeles core charges of collusion has been publicly confirmed.

Fusion and the House at first worked out a deal for relevant banks records.

But House lawyers say they learned that Fusion withheld 112 transactions pertinent to the

Russia probe.

The suspect transactions, House lawyers say, deal with two Russia issues.

One is the dossier.

The other is Fusions payments from another law firm, BakerHostetler.

That money came from the Russian firm Prevezon Holdings which is lobbying Washington to repeal

a law that brought stiff economic sanctions on President Vladimir Putins regime.

The House Committee is also attempting to find out the actual agreement between the

Washington Free Beacon and Fusion GPS.

The conservative outlet was the first to hire the company but claims to have stopped payments

in April 2016 when Fusion then apparently sought funds from Democrats.

For their part, the openly shady Fusion GPS had their attorneys directly assert their

disapproval at Congress attempting to find out details about journalists who were paid

to spread propaganda designed to alter the presidential election.

The company claimed that if they had not filed their own lawsuit then, the committee would

have happily prowled through all of Fusions banking records and used them for no purpose

other than to inflict harm, we respectfully submit that [committee Republicans are] using

these overbroad demands to punish [Fusion] for having investigated Mr. Trump.

In other words, we were paid to hurt Donald Trump, we paid others to do the same, and

the real bad guys are the Republicans trying to uncover the rapidly increasing scandal.

In the days and weeks ahead, the American people will hopefully be able to see the exact

names of the journalists (and the news outlets they work for) who were paid to take out Donald

Trump.

One can imagine that outlets such as CNN and The New York Times may be involved.

Making custom drum kicks - Duration: 7:24.

Hello everyone I am Gigi Miu

Today we will see how to make a custom drum kick

From this lesson, we will see a lot of stuff related to customizing your sounds

and after few lessons on this we will analyze the mixing process

but mind that some things explained here will be useful for the mixing part as well

Even if you think this things are not Vocaloid related, I swear that knowing this stuff will help you in making better Vocaloid music

So let's start. This is our 4-on-the-floor drum track

We will see how to use 2 different drum kick samples and merge them together to make a beefier drum kick

Let's say I like the high frequency part of this drum kick sample

I could use an equalizer to remove the low frequency of this sample

You can do it using an high pass filter

Now that we have our mid-high frequencies only I can add another kick sample to this one

So that we mix sample one mid-high frequencies to low one of the other kick

The change is subtle and you may not be able to hear it properly

Doing so we just created a unique drum kick sample. Something that no-one else have.

To make this even beefier I could send both of them son the same bus channel

And then apply other filters to make the combines sound even better

The tool to use in this case is a transient shaper/designer plugin

Transient designer are used to shape the sound of drums or other sounds that have a transient

You can edit the attack and the sustain and complex one let you do it on a multi band approach

Feel free to experiment with setting until you find something that you like

Can you hear how much the sound has changed? We have now a completely original kick drum

Since we are here let me explain a concept called phase cancellation

Phase cancellation is something you need to keep in mind when mixing different sounds together

Phase cancellation happens when 2 similar waves meet echoer with different phase. Basically instead of adding up they subtract each other.

This happens in particularly in the low frequencies and that's why we used an high pass filter to remove the low frequencies of the first sample.

So always be careful when mixing different frequencies. frequenze prendiamo come mescoliamo

Mind that this concept of merging different samples can be applied creatively at a Vocaloid track as well

You can mix different Voices and see what happens!

Thank you so much for watching and do not forget to subscribe! Feel free to check my Pattern page as well! See you next time!
