Why is TV Static Monochrome? | Nostalgia Nerd - Duration: 7:20.

For most of us today, television static is a thing of the past.

With digital tuners, HDMI connections and flat screen TVs, even if there is interference,

we don't get a chance to see it, as the television circuity boldly saves us from this ordeal.

Early TVs adopting digital tuners would actually spoof this snowy noise themselves, so as not

to disturb people, but otherwise we get a blank screen, maybe a message hovering about,

politely informing us of the lack in coherent signal.

Thankfully the message never, ever, directly hits the corner.

If it did, well, I hate to imagine the consequences....

*EXPLOSION*

But people like me, and probably you, still have to deal with garbled screens of static

on a regular basis, especially for older consoles which only provide an RF output, and even

then, it's non uncommon to get quite a noisy picture.

But given we're using colour TVs for the most part, producing a colour image, why on earth

is the TV static only black and white?

Well, let's start with fundamentals.

Why do we even get this static fuzz?

Well analogue televisions try to amplify any signals they receive, so if there isn't a

strong enough signal from a TV mast, or a modulator being sent into the TVs receiver

at the frequency it's currently tuned to, it will instead amplify whatever electromagnetic

signals it picks up.

These signals can originate from a number of sources including residual signals spilling

over from the big bang - cosmic microwave background radiation, man made signals buzzing

around the air, atmospheric sources, but mainly, it's Johnson noise (not that kind).... essentially

thermal RF noise generated by the components of the TV itself.

Because of the random nature of these signals, your television receiver interprets it as

as a garbled fuzz of noise, presented as a swarm of seemingly frantic ants on screen.

If it wasn't random you'd perceive patterns in this dissaray, and of course an ordered,

stronger signal would pretty much cancel out this noise altogether and present us with

a coherent image.

The reason the colour of this snow isn't as random as the patterns themselves is due to

the way televisions and transmissions have evolved.

Let's look at segment from a PAL video signal.

From left we have the end of a video scan line.

This constitutes a single line drawn across your television by an electron gun (on cathode

ray tube televisions at the least).

We then have the front porch, this is here to prevent interference between individual

lines.

Next is the horizontal sync pulse, which signifies the start of the next scan line.

This is followed by the back porch, which restores the black levels and also leads onto

the colour burst.

Now this is the important part, as it effectively tells our television how to create the colour

image.

The colourburst synchronises a subcarrier signal containing the colour data.

The encoded format of which relies on the YUV colour space, providing chrominance data

to go with the luminance value.

The chrominance data carries blue and red values, which are substracted from the luminance

figure to provide a value for green.

Given that monochrome televisions rely on the embedded luminance data to identify how

bright each part of the image is, delivering colour information outside of each visible

scanline, ensured compatibility with monochrome TV receivers, which simply ignored it - an

essential caveat during its introduction.

It also required far less bandwidth than using 3 separate signals to transmit Red, Green

and Blue components.

The colour subcarrier itself reduces bandwidth further by only providing half the vertical

resolution on every other scan line.

We don't perceive any different as our eyes see a constrasting monochrome image in more

detail than a colour one.

But the upshot is, until your TV receives and recognises this information, it's essentially

running in Black & White mode.

Each time it draws a line, it looks for the subsequent colourburst pattern, but doesn't

find it, and moves on.

It hasn't been given the information to create a colour image.

So although you may expect the random signals & fluctuations received & displayed on an

untuned television to be interpreted as a multitude of different colours, they're simply

not delivered in a fashion which the TV can decode into colour information.

At this point, the decoder is really still expecting a 1960s B&W film to be streamed

into living rooms.

So, what about the sound?

Well, in an untuned set, the sound is as random as the on screen image, with the set amplifying

all those floating no good signals.

With a tuned channel, the sound data is held on a frequency with a fixed off-set.

This is why even if you can sometimes tune into a picture spilling over from its broadcast

frequency, it may may still have no sound.

The receiver won't find the sound data until the picture is tuned to the correct frequency

and the off-set is matched up.

Now, I've been talking about the PAL system here and although there are small differences

from TV protocol to TV protocol, the reason is very much the same.

NTSC for example, works on an almost identical principle, but with a different colour subcarrier

frequency.

This is why when we play an NTSC game or video over here, we get a black and white image....

again, the TV has no idea on what colours to paint over the image.

Over in France, their SECAM protocal encoded colour signals in FM rather than relying on

a colourburst sync.

But regardless, where-ever in look, the decoders need to be able to find suitable colour information

to decode, before it can be presented to our eyes.

3 Mail Activities for Kids - Junk Mail, Stickers and Stamps (Letter Writing, Pen Pals, Collecting) - Duration: 5:36.

hey guys it's melissa from little kosher lunch thanks for joining me because

today i finally went through my pile of mail and it stimulated me to talk to you

about mail and correspondence activities with children today have three different

activities or ideas to share with you about letters letter-writing pen pals

and stamps here I have a lot of them here is a stack of return envelopes that i just

pulled out of my junk mail literally for things that i'm not mailing back

now if you or someone you know is on every mailing list for all of the

charities or let's say you give to one or more charities a year you probably

are on those mailing lists where you get the little free return address labels

and maybe it comes with little stickers to seal your envelope and it's like a

little free gift or incentive from the charity well my mother is on everybody's

charity list so I actually have a drawer a junk drawer just full of these

stickers we do activities where the girls can just practice writing on paper

like writing a card putting you know the name of a friend and then practicing

writing their own names and then instead of fooling with mommy's stamps they have

their own stamps that are not worth money that they can practice sticking in

the stamp area so this is like a little starter activity for a child who might

be ready to have a pen pal soon or who wants to pretend that they have a pen

pal so that's my first activity for you all my second idea about stamps and kids

and mailing letters is that I like to buy stamps either online I order them or

if I go to the post office I always try to get stamps that aren't boring so much

mail is metered now and it's just not so beautiful so I pick up stamps that are

fun for kids or just generally beautiful I have the old ice cream stamps but the

new ones are coming out that have a smell which I'm so excited for i

pre-ordered them this week I have Birds I have flowers so if we're mailing a

card if it's like a birthday card or a card to a relative or a thank-you note I

always try to have these beautiful stamps on hand for my daughter's to pick

the stamp that they want and then to put that stamp on their card and this is

just a way of sort of exciting the recipient before they even open your

card and I think it's also a nice way to teach my daughters about the fact that

these stamps cost money and we pay the mailman or the mail lady to deliver our

letter and so just the idea that you're receiving a service when you send a

letter through the mail is like a nice idea to teach a child I'm so into stamps

that I actually think that these are a really nice gift for a child you know I

know people who use them as stocking stuffers for kids and it's also a way

for your child to maybe engage with a topic that's interesting to them there

are science stamps sea creatures stamps cartoons famous people there's a Sally

Ride stamp that just came out I just ordered the solar eclipse stamps which

are super beautiful so you can explore all kinds of topics and I think it's um

just something that's maybe old-fashioned that I wanted to share

with you my last tip is one that's free it's my second free tip for you and that

is collecting stamps that come in your own mail that are cancelled stamps here

here is a pretty a pretty thick bag of stamps that we've saved so far as a

family my girls really look forward to receiving letters in the mail and they

do receive letters from some of their grandparents on a regular basis we

always always always look at and admire beautiful stamps that come on mail and I

make a point to tear those stamps off and save them for a future craft project

we don't know what but there is going to be a family craft project that will use

these beautiful stamps another idea if you're mailing things is sometimes I

have done this these are ones we've received but you know you could really

load up your stamps on a package or use up old stamps or

small increments and you know we had friends you did that for us and they're

just too they're too beautiful to throw away so we save the nice stamps that

come even the flag stamps you know there's so much diversity of a certain

theme on our postage so even though flag stamps I find sort of boring

I do find them really interesting when you line them up next to one another so

these are like topics for you know thinking with your kid or exploring or

discussing or collecting that don't cost you any money or cost very little they're

also practical life skills that you can teach a child so just a few minutes

of your time I wanted to share these ideas that were on my mind and if you

haven't seen them yet you should definitely look up these new ice cream

scratch-and-sniff stamps that are coming out I have no skin in the game but I'm

just really interested in them so I can link those for you down below thanks so

much for your time I am doing videos all the time primarily about meals and lunch

packing for my children but also about activities like these so if you like

this video give it a thumbs up and let me know your thoughts I'll see you soon

back here bye bye

Introduction to Resin Jewellery : Basic Materials - Duration: 4:25.

Hi Viewers...

Now we will see the details about

the trending Resin-Jewellery and the basic materials required for making them..

All these materials that you are seeing are required for Resin Jewellery

we will see the details of the materials one by one

Let me explain you about the Resin first

There are 4 main types of Resins today

but Epoxy Resin will be best suitable for Jewellery Making

so I suggest always buy/ask for Epoxy resin when you are about to make Resin jewellery.

We get Epoxy Resin in two-parts Part A- Resin, Part-B Hardner

We will get a solid material by mixing both these liquids in a suggestible ration

I will show that in the next video

And you need to buy/ask for Clear Krystal Epoxy Resin

Epoxy resin that you buy should not be in Pale yellow colour which will not be suitable for Jewellery making

The clear resin will give great look to the all part of Resin Jewellery

Read the details of the resin clearly before you buy that..

the resin should have details like the type of resin, mixing proportions, precautions etc. on it

We need to use Measuring cups for mixing these liquids

The Resin that I am showing here should be mixed in 2:1 ratio( 2 Resin: 1 Hardner )

you can use the measurements on these cups to mix the liquids

I will show how to color the mixture of resin in the next video

the next material is silicon molds

you will get these molds in different sizes, shapes and patterns from the market

silicon molds will be used to hold the resin mixture for a long time and

we can separate it very easily from the silicon mold when compared with plastic molds

The next one is Resin Colorant

These will be available(different colors) in both liquid and powder form

I will show how to use this colorant in the next video

The next material: Glitters

Glitters( of different colors) will be used for decoration purposes in the jewellery making..

Hand Driller

we use this to make holes, attach the jump rings, and hang other materials to the resin jewellery

Sand Paper

Will be used to remove the excess particles of resin and to sharpen/shine the resin jewellery.

Tools: Pendant base, hangers, jump rings, molds, etc

I will show them how to use these in resin jewellery making in the next video

Magnetic sheet

This will be used as a base for some resin jewelries to stick on metal bodies..

can be used as a base for jewellery stickers..

That's it:) These all the basic materials that can be used for Resin Jewellery making..

I will show how to use all these in the next video

If you like this video, please like and share

Aliens In Neighboring Universes Could Potentially Be Human Relatives - Duration: 4:09.

Aliens In Neighboring Universes Could Potentially Be Human Relatives

by Zachary Riley

The search for alien life is heating up. With a huge amount of money poured into private

scientific investigation into the existence of aliens and even a significant chunk of

NASAs budget now dedicated to the search for extraterrestrials, its clear that we

desperately want evidence that were not alone in the universe.

Many alien enthusiasts and scientists alike insist that we should be considering

these extraterrestrials as a species similar to our own with the same sort of curiosity

and search for knowledge that we ourselves are known for. Theres a growing movement

to approach the research more from a curious and diplomatic standpoint rather than preparing

ourselves for an inevitable disaster once we come into contact. By adjusting the way

we approach our search for aliens, we may very well be opening ourselves to a much more

hospitable interaction with intelligent life if were to happen across it.

It will be an uphill battle when it comes to approaching aliens from a curiosity standpoint

rather than one that is defensive, but its an interesting theory to keep in mind as we

continue to reach out further and further in our search for intelligent life.

Investigations into Aliens are often performed from a defense perspective , but what if the

extraterrestrial life in our own or neighboring universes are our relatives?

Theres no doubt that the search for alien life is heating up. With a huge amount of

money poured into private scientific investigation into the existence of aliens and even a significant

chunk of NASAs budget now dedicated to the search for extraterrestrials, its clear

that we desperately want evidence that were not alone in the universe.

However, the majority of investigations into aliens are made with the assumption that wed

have to prepare ourselves for some sort of alien invasion. Its usually assumed that

these aliens are far more advanced than us and would be more interested in conquest than

they would be communication, but theres certainly also the possibility that these

aliens would be open to collaboration and even friendship rather than war.

Recent research into dark energy suggests that the possibility of aliens existing in

other universes is very likely, as its now considered possible for life to exist

under much more trying conditions. But that doesnt really aid us on our path to discover

whether aliens actually exist or shape how exactly well approach the situation if

we are to actually come in contact with extraterrestrials.

Many alien enthusiasts and scientists alike are frustrated with the way that the investigations

into aliens are being carried out, insisting that we should be considering these extraterrestrials

as a species similar to our own with the same sort of curiosity and search for knowledge

that we ourselves are known for.

Its difficult to determine at all what aliens would be like if we happened across

them, but theres a growing movement to start approaching the research more from a

curious and diplomatic standpoint rather than preparing ourselves for an inevitable disaster

once we come into contact.

Media ranging from YouTube channels to published research alike captures a lot of the attention

of the general public by predicting some sort of doomsday were we to come in contact with

aliens, but the truth is that we have no idea at all what that sort of contact would be

like.

By adjusting the way we approach our search for aliens, we may very well be opening ourselves

to a much more hospitable interaction with intelligent life if were to happen across

it.

HR5717: The Gun Confiscation Bill of 2018! - The Legal Brief! - Duration: 6:09.

Welcome back to The Legal Brief, the show where we CRUSH the various legal myths and

misinformation surrounding various areas of the gun world.

I'm your host Adam Kraut and today we're talking about a new bill that would allow the government

to confiscate guns?

Earlier this month HR 5717 was introduced in the House of Representatives.

Known as the Jake Laird Act of 2018, the bill would grant 50 million dollars, that's right

50 million, each year from 2019 through 2021 to implement its regime.

Now I know what you're all thinking...But Adam, we don't care about the money part,

we want to know about the confiscation.

You said confiscation.

What about that part?

And for the record, I know some of you in the comments will absolutely comment about

the money part.

The bill gives the Attorney General of the United States the power to grant states money

when they have a law in place which allows for the seizure of a firearm from a dangerous

person.

We've seen bills and laws like this starting to pop up nationwide.

And now it appears the feds want to fund those programs.

Before we get further, let's talk about definitions.

What is dangerous anyway?

The bill defines the term dangerous to mean several things.

The one that caught my eye was "the individual MAY present a risk of injuring himself or

herself or another individual; and (i) has a mental illness that may be controlled by

medication, but has demonstrated a pattern of not voluntarily and consistently taking

the medication, except under supervision; (ii) is the subject of documented evidence

that would give rise to a reasonable belief that the individual has a propensity for violent

or emotionally unstable conduct; or (iii) poses a significant danger of personal injury

to himself or herself, or another individual, by possessing a firearm."

Can you spot the possible problem?

Here's a thought.

Depression is a mental illness.

Say someone stops taking their medicine or is inconsistent with it?

What qualifies as emotionally unstable?

And how do you determine if they pose a significant danger of injury to themselves or another?

These are some really difficult questions to answer.

It's a slippery slope on the way down.

However, in order to receive funding, the state's law must be substantially similar

to criteria outlined in the bill.

A state qualifies if the law allows for a warrant to be issued based on an affidavit

from law enforcement which contains facts supporting the law enforcement officer's probable

cause to believe that the individual is dangerous and in possession of a firearm, as well as

the location of the firearm.

It also allows funding for states which allow warrantless seizures if the law enforcement

officer determines there is probable cause to believe the person is dangerous.

This is only in the case of exigent circumstances.

And for those that don't recall, exigent circumstances means an emergency situation requiring swift

action to prevent imminent danger to life or serious damage to property, or stop the

imminent escape of a suspect, or destruction of evidence.

The bill requires that no later than 21 days after documentation of the seizure is filed

with the court, and that has to be within 48 hours, the court shall hold a hearing to

determine whether the individual is actually dangerous.

If the court determines that the individual is dangerous, the court shall— (i) order

that the law enforcement agency maintain possession of the firearm; (ii) in the case of an individual

who has a license to carry a firearm, revoke the license; and (iii) enter an order restraining

that individual from acquiring a firearm.

The court is required to give notice of the hearing to both the government and the person

whose firearms were seized.

At the hearing, the government has the burden of proving, by clear and convincing evidence,

that the individual is dangerous, and that the firearm should not be returned to them.

If it is determined that the firearm seized is owned by another person, not the person

from whom it was seized, the court is required to order its return.

And as you may have guessed, if the court enters an order that the person is dangerous,

they are added to the NICS database.

If the person has firearms seized, 180 days after the order is entered, the person can

petition the court for the return of their guns.

They just have to show by the preponderance of the evidence that they're not dangerous.

That is a lower evidentiary standard than what is required to seize the guns.

If a petition is denied, the person may petition again 180 days after the denial.

In instances where an order is in effect 5 years after it was entered, the court may

order the agency which has custody of the firearm to dispose of it.

The bill also allows for the person to request the sale of their firearm at any point.

It does give the agency who has possession one year to sell it and of course contains

a provision to allow them to retain 8% of the proceeds to cover the costs of the sale.

Alright, so let's recap.

The bill grants 50 million dollars a year to implement the theft of property from those

that are deemed to be "dangerous".

As you can see, the definition of dangerous is one that allows for some wiggle room and

may have some unintended consequences.

The bill is currently in the Judiciary Committee with no action having been taken.

We'll see where this one goes.

The (Broken) Matchmaking Cycle | Overwatch - Duration: 7:26.

I don't think a lot of people would fundamentally disagree when I said that we are not happy

with the matchmaker.

It has been a point of contention for about as long as competitive play exists, and it

is also a topic I have covered numerous times on this channel already.

Now, if you are under the impression that there is only one single problem with it that

could be fixed just like that- Then you are painfully mistaken.

The problem surrounding matchmaking issues in Overwatch comes down to many factors.

Not the least of which is a wrong idea sides of the community of how a matchmaking system

is supposed to work, and even downright ignorance to why some of these perceived anomalies are

happening.

Bottomline is that, even if you think you know how the matchmaker works, chances are

that you don't.

And that goes for me as much as most other people.

But that doesn't stop us from talking about it, speculating and offering our feedback.

Because whether the matchmaker is objectively broken or not- If it is perceived to not be

functioning properly by the playerbase, then something needs to change.

That means that our feedback is very important for the Devs, even when we have no idea what

we are talking about.

My target today is the dev team's stance on how the matchmaking system is handling

smurf account.

Allowing smurfing in competitive play creates a lot of issues on a social level, as I have

covered in my video talking about 5 Inexcusable Flaws in Overwatch.

Matchmaking Rating adjustments or not- The idea of participating in competitive play

with a secondary account will always be unhealthy for a game, no matter how you look at it.

A player smurfing fundamentally doesn't care as much as somebody whose actual ELO

is on the line, and that is simply not fair towards players who are blood, sweat and tears

out there trying to get their ranks up.

With that out of the way- Let's talk about the balance related issues that can occur

thanks to their acceptance for Smurf Accounts.

Take me as an example.

I have an alt account almost entirely dedicated to practising DPS heroes, because god knows

having a Zenyatta One Trick swap to DPS is gonna cause a lot of whining when I tried

to do that on my main account.

So I play Zenyatta on my main and I have an absolutely awful time.

Nobody cares to group up, nobody is peeling and everyone is just whining constantly.

What would stop me now from swapping my Zenyatta Masters Account to my DPS Platinum Account,

to then play Zenyatta against players who are way worse than me, just because I am frustrated?

"So what about it," you might say.

"The matchmaker is gonna see you stomping Plats and adjust your rating very quickly!"

and you wouldn't be completely wrong if you said that.

If I spent two days just consistently stomping Plats and Diamonds until I reach my original

rating again, then the problem would be solved, right?

Well, at least according to Blizzard.

But here is the actual issue.

If I was to go on one of those angry tantrums where I just wanna stomp some low ELO players,

then I wouldn't be doing that for 2 days straight.

I would go for a handful of games, blow some steam off and call it a night.

If I keep playing DPS on that account and only every so often go on one of those rampages,

then I am going to be a constant, potential problem for the matchmaker.

And here's the kicker- One of my friends has done exactly what I just talked about.

They had an alt account to practise one hero, got placed very low, and one day got frustrated

because their main heroes are no longer meta now in Season 10.

So they went on a tear on their low ELO account where they could obviously still pull some

stunts off.

And it took them two whole days of grinding competitive play to be adjusted back into

GrandMaster.

Two, whole, days.

Two days of them completely destroying the balance of their matches by tearing through

everyone they played against.

Now consider the following- How many players have an alt account?

Given that Blizzard openly said that having alt accounts is fine- You can sure that there

is a ton of them.

Just try to pay attention in your own matches how many players below level 100 you can find.

Even if everyone only did angry stomps every so often, given that so many players own alt

accounts, you can bet your bucket that this is gonna be a common occurrence because of

just how many smurf accounts are out there.

It's the same thing I said for being toxic- Why would someone care about practising PMA

on a Smurf Account?

Even if they only got toxic like once a month, given how many smurf accounts exist, you can

come across toxicity very frequently.

"Alright Cliff," you might be saying.

"Now tell me something new.

All of these things have been complained about for ages!" and I hear you, yes, you're

completely right.

But I think that most people who made their opinions public failed to address the core

issue in this argument.

Saying things like "Oh I am like two divisions below where I am supposed to be, because all

those tryharding smurfs are on the enemy team, and I keep getting those that don't care!"

It's the typical old ELO Hell fallacy.

Obviously, in the grand scheme of things, Blizzard is banking on all of this balancing

itself out.

That eventually, you are going have more legitimate matches than smurf account infested ones,

and somehow that is supposed to even out your ELO based on your own performance.

But what I want to point out is not an individual player's ranking that is affected by this

issue- I want to talk about the sheer magnitude that this problem has reached.

It is no longer the case of isolated incidents where somebody might be having bad luck.

Considering how many smurf accounts are out there, chances are that the amount of legitimate

matches you participate in have already gotten slimmer than those that have been affected

unfairly to some extent.

Losing and winning thanks to the influence of smurf accounts in itself is causing matchmaking

anomalies where players gain and lose rating where they shouldn't be gaining or losing

any.

And the issue obviously doesn't come from smurfing alone.

Because sure, you might be banking on that eventually balancing itself out, but then

we look at all the other issues that also plague competitive play.

There are players who, on the back of patch heroes alone, climb multiple divisions in

a single season.

The recently changed Hanzo and newly added Baguette are perfect examples of that.

I have found Season 9 Platinum Players who got near GrandMaster by one tricking Brigitte.

No matter how you slice it, that can't be right.

And the effects ingame show that.

Players like these have no idea how to perform in a high rank.

Sure, they might get away with farming some FREELO thanks to the chaotic and often random

nature of competitive play, especially on the back of obviously broken heroes or meta

trends.

But in the grand scheme of things, especially once things get dicey, they painfully underperform.

They will drop out of that rating once the specific hero has been nerfed or once another

meta comes around, and on their way down, they will be taking a lot of other player's

ELO with them, and that completely unjustified.

So we have this weird cycle where players are getting frustrated on their main accounts

because they feel like they lost their games unjustifyingly.

They then swap to their alt accounts where they either don't care anywhere near as

much, or they proceed to absolutely stomp other players lower in rank than their main.

Your skill rating, by no means, actually measures your skill.

And I think by now, we all are painfully aware of that.

Sure, we can spend 20 minutes talking about how the playerbase, in large, doesn't understand

why the matchmaker feels so unfair so often, but at the end of the day, allowing smurf

accounts is just one of the many domino pieces that you placed waiting to be kicked over

to eventually bring down this whole construct that we call competitive play.

But hey, ultimately, that is just my point of view on the whole issue.

Whether that is actually accurate or not- Who knows.

But our feedback matters, so make sure you drop down into the comment section below and

give us your own take on what you think is wrong with the matchmaker.

And if you think it's fine, tell us why you think so.

For all of you who are tired of complaining about problems and instead, would like to

take a step into improving your gameplay- Why not check out my video on clutch plays

based on game sense over mechanical skill?

I actually think you guys might find that really useful.

But until then, thank you everybody so much for watching, don't forget to drop me a

Quick & Easy Way to Make Money Online Today - Duration: 11:06.

what's going on guys welcome to the video today I'm gonna teach you an easy

and quick way that you can make money online right here right now anybody can

do it I'm gonna give you three practical examples of me doing this and how I

actually used to go about doing this and we're starting right now all right guys

so jumping right in now we are on Fiverr as you can see now I used to do Fiverr a

lot and we're gonna talk about that in a second

but before you click away and you say oh another Fiverr video I don't want to do

Fiverr fibers a great place to make money online especially if you're just

starting out and that to you now you don't just need to focus on Fiverr also

something we're going to talk about here in a second it can be something that

supplements your income and if you set it up right and you go after the right

gigs you don't even need to really trade your money for time essentially you can

you can I'm gonna give you three practical examples of it in a second but

you're gonna either download or purchase software that's gonna end up paying

dividends into the future when people purchased those software gigs or you're

gonna flip stuff like that now like I said I used to do five are a lot I don't

do it anymore as you see here I haven't been active in you know nine months and

I don't even think I delivered a gig in that name on somebody just been active

or nine months ago and I literally just have it on vacation mode now I haven't

updated these gigs in a while but I'm gonna give you three practical examples

of gigs that you can use on Fiverr to make money right now but first and

foremost before we actually get into the specific gigs I want to talk about the

reason that people most people go wrong on Fiverr the reason that people most

people go wrong on Fiverr is they focus a lot on trading their time for money so

they want to perform a service they want to do this or they want to do that and

that's the wrong approach in my opinion you still want to have you know you

don't want to be essentially trading your time for money for a five-dollar

gig what you want to use five or four is a way to bring in other leads to

potentially supplement your income so what I mean by that is you you don't

focus on Fiverr you just put a couple gigs on Fiverr and then as soon as you

get an order you start ranking your gigs on the platform essentially what that

will do is it will allow you to make an extra five bucks a day here and there

for doing absolutely nothing and then as you start ranking your gigs higher and

higher it'll let a light allow you to make twenty dollars actually a day and

then $50 extra a day and so on and so forth now I had a bunch of

different fiber um profiles and you can have a couple

different moments - that's a little workaround so if you if they you're just

starting out and they won't let you have five gigs which i if I'm familiar with

if I remember correctly I believe they limit you to five gigs initially and

then once you hit that level one seller on an account or two then you move up to

I believe it's eight or nine it could be ten don't hold me that it's been a while

but that's basically what you want to do you want to scale up with multiple

accounts get multiple gigs on multiple accounts now getting into the meat and

potatoes and the actual methods and three practical examples now Fiverr is a

great way I'm not going to talk about you know the specifics of what Fiverr is

because if you're watching this channel you're this far into the video I'm

assuming that that you know what on what Fiverr is essentially and the type of

gigs that you can provide most people go wrong in the types of gigs that they

elect to provide on Fiverr so I'm gonna give you three practical examples I

wrote them down and as you can see here here's some ones that I used to use now

great one of an example right here that I wasn't gonna talk about would be

atomic email hunter so I've done a million videos on atomic email hunter

and you know basically downloading a software and I offer this software free

in my email and affiliate marketing mastermind course there'll be a $10

discount linked to that course down below in the description if you want to

check that out as well as a $10 discount link to my fiber course down there - if

you want to check that out you get that for free in the course but I'm not here

to sell you the course I'm just I'm putting it there so if you want to go

that route you can because I believe it's it was 80 85 bucks when I purchased

it initially you get it for 10 bucks in the course a cracked version so what I

basically did is I have this this atomic email hunter and it generates a bunch of

different email leads based on the targeted keywords so what I would do is

I'd sell I'll send out an email blast for you this is a gmask gig actually and

Gmail also something I talked about in that course but basically one of the

gigs that I used to sell was you know I'll generate a targeted email list of a

thousand people and then that would be like five bucks around any type of

keyword or niche and then I basically say for 10 bucks I'll generate that

targeted email list of 10,000 people for 20 bucks I'll generate a targeted list

of you know of 50,000 people whatever it was and then basically that that's no

more work for me all I would do is I'd open up

Tomic email hunter and I have a million videos on atomic email hunter I'll drop

one as a card up above because I'm not gonna go through it I actually don't

have a time a female hunter on my new computer it's on both my laptop's right

over here and yeah so I don't have that up right now I don't have any recording

equipment on that but I use atomic email hunter to generate leads on that now

like I said I've done videos on this in the past but basically it doesn't cost

me any money and it doesn't cost me any time

all I basically do is I type a keyword into the search bar of Tom key mail

hunter and I let it state overnight and then what it does is it yields me leads

based on you know on that targeted keyword and I literally give those

emails and those leads to the person in the gig so it's free money as soon as

somebody purchases that gig I basically get the the five bucks for literally

doing nothing and just putting a keyword into my software that I already have and

that's basically how I do it another great example of this would be

optimizing your old YouTube tags so in a great another great example of this

would be to buddy which I actually don't have downloaded here on this computer as

well definitely not prepared for this video but I think it's good overall you

know ideas and kind of giving you guys good ideas so basically what to buddy is

if I pulled it up and I don't think I'm logged in basically what it is I've done

two bloody video to buddy videos in the past as well is it basically you know

goes over tags for your videos and generates the most relevant tags around

its a certain topic so you can type a topic to body search bar they'll be

effective in proper it will yield you up tags that are you know the most optimal

essentially for targeting for Fiverr so you know a lot of search volume but not

that many videos for that super time that's basically what to Buddy does what

I would do is I had to buddy and I would simply type you know somebody would

would purchase that gig for five bucks or ten bucks what I would do is I would

type that that you know niche or topic into two buddy and it would literally

instantly yield me those results and two buddy was five dollars when I first

purchased it it's literally five bucks and you can get a free trial for two

buddy if you want I'll drop that in the description below as well and then

believe you can you can use it for free and then I believe the upgrades five

bucks a month it's really really cheap but you don't need the

upgrade what I basically do is when I purchase that upgrade it would pay for

all I needed to do was one gig and it would pay for itself and then every

other gig I did after that was free money and I didn't have to train any

time the software did all the work for me I literally just type it into the

search bar just like atomic email hunter and then

that would basically yield me the results and I'd give that those people

the results and you know the tags for their YouTube video now the reason that

people pay for these gigs is a because they don't know the software exists and

obviously you're not going to tell them that the software exists and B they

don't have the software or maybe they didn't purchase the software so somebody

doesn't go out and purchase the the atomic email hunter for 85 bucks well

then they're gonna pay five bucks to get 10,000 leads around a targeted email or

a targeted niche or keyword because you have the software and they don't

something like that another great example to give you another one really

fast I'm gonna give you two instagram examples so that's actually for one

bonus one the first one would be following so I obviously have follow

like or I've done a million videos on follow like or I have an entire

Instagram automation playlist on this channel if you want to check it out go

ahead I wanna chop a card to it but basically what you can do is you can you

can plug their account and the follow like your for a day or two days and you

can sell that and it doesn't cost you any money to do that if you already have

follow like her a cheaper option that balalaika is actually captivate and

that's what I used for this so I would say I'll mass follow targeted Instagram

pages for you and then basically what I would do is I would put their their

account into a captivate and it would just follow all day for them so it I

believe captivate was five bucks it was a one-time payment on the app store and

then basically what I did is I that paid for itself after one gig and then

everything after that was free money so that's a really really great example you

can download an app like like captivate you can also basically download an app

to give you another example of one that yields relevant hashtags for Instagram

pictures so and you can sell that gig you can basically say for a gig and I

believe I had that on one of my other accounts it was basically I sold the gig

that was like I will generate 30 relevant hashtags for you for your

Instagram picture based on your specific niche and people would purchase that gig

and then all I would literally do is they would

me the niche and I would type the niche into the free I forget the exact app but

there's a bunch of them on the app store I would type there they're that niche

into that app and the app would yield me 30 hashtag results and I was literally

given the hashtag results it took about 10 seconds of my time and it paid me 5

bucks over and over and over and over and over again and trust me guys when I

was doing this and you can do this too I wasn't sitting here on Fiverr just oh my

god I need to make money on Fiverr I put these gigs up and I completely forgot

about them and I downloaded the fiber app on my cell phone and as soon as I

got a notification oh somebody went went off or somebody purchased the gig from

you it was free money because the way I set it up was was like this and was

passive I wasn't trading my time for money but I was basically getting free

money because I purchased software and then obviously the gigs would pay for

the software so you can do this too I suggest that you do this as well it's

really really easy this is obviously a beginner method but if you guys are

looking for some extra money to supplement your income if you're looking

for another way that's easy and quick that you can make money online right

here right now go ahead and go out go out and try this now you're definitely

gonna need your rank your gigs properly and if you're interested in learning how

to rank your gigs properly and basically getting reviews for them and basically

getting sales initial sales to drive them up so that they rank on on fivers

platform and there's more visibility for other people searching for them then go

ahead and check the course in the description it's $10 discount link to my

Fiverr course I have it on Fiverr in a while but everything in that course is

still 100 cent relevant you could take it and apply it to something like this

so hope you guys like this video put a lot of thought into you know bringing

you a kind of going back to my roots and bringing you a good idea today they can

help you make money online I'm trying to produce some other you know content

where I'm talking to the camera in front of it and a little bit more production

value but I'm gonna throw a bunch of these videos in here on you know not

every single video but a lot of the videos are still gonna be computer based

and me teaching you how to make money online from my computer because that's

what I genuinely enjoy and that's what I generally genuinely love and I feel like

that provides you guys a lot of value so go ahead and hit that like button if you

thought that I brought value today and I will see you guys tomorrow

Jamie Foxx Interviews Vince Vaughn || OFF SCRIPT a Grey Goose Production - Duration: 8:03.

- I was just saying yes to fun.

I was just saying yes to fun too much, right.

I was saying yes to being open to that stuff.

- Hashtag yes to fun. - Weren't you?

(upbeat music)

- This next guest is so amazing,

he needs a dramatic piano roll.

He's the funniest man on the planet.

He's been in Old School, he's been in Wedding Crashers,

he's been in Swingers.

Give it up for Vince Vaughn.

(piano playing)

V. - Good to see you.

- Come on man.

- The place hasn't changed a bit.

Get in here.

- Come on man.

- Good to see you. - How you doing man.

- I'm doing great.

- You're too tall for my trailer man.

- I'm too tall for life.

- What you--

I am right?

I'm like circus tall, just on the border.

How you been?

- I've been really good.

- I think it's so cool you're doing this.

You amaze me, you do everything.

There's nothing you're not exceptional at, it's true.

- I appreciate that man. - The comedy, it's crazy.

Piano, drama, you're directing stuff.

- Male exotic.

- Now you're like doing, male exotic, big time,

that's true, that's true, but that goes without saying.

- Listen, every time we see each other,

there's a connection.

- Always.

- But just on you as an artist,

where you came from, what got you into this,

what was your first, your big break.

- The entertainment industry was like another world.

It was a different planet, right?

- Right, right.

- So, I didn't even realize it was something

that you could do as a living.

So, my first big thing, I remember,

I booked this Chevrolet commercial.

I mean that was it. - That was it baby.

- They paid so much money, it was.

- Wow, how much?

- Did you ever do a national commercial.

- Man, I didn't do that, you, how much?

- Jamie, I'm telling you, you do that,

I made $60,000 in a year.

- And that was big cheese at that time.

- Huge. - That was crazy.

- But didn't you feel that way every time you did something,

didn't you think this is it?

- I thought, listen.

- Every time. - Every time.

I'm gonna tell you my story.

I actually auditioned for a television show,

got it, somehow there was some situation

with my manager and the lead dude.

It was a little kerfuffle on the set.

A little donnybrook.

Somebody was sleeping with the wrong whatever.

I told everybody I was gonna be in the pilot,

in my hometown, and then I got cut out of the pilot.

- Yup.

- So, I was like sitting there celebrating,

telling everybody, we had a pilot party.

And I wasn't in it.

- Did no one call you to tell you?

- Nobody, nah, they didn't tell me.

- That's terrible dude.

- And so my grandma's like, that boy out there

doing drugs, he ain't doing, he aint' doing.

- That's terrible.

- What I see in you is, I see

the undercurrent of, of all of it.

I see the ability to be in Wedding Crashers,

I see the ability also when you did the speech in Psycho,

we all have a little mad in us.

That speech took me to a whole thing

'cause I see Vince Vaughn, hey baby all of that.

And then all of sudden.

- That's a pretty good by the way.

- Yeah, hey baby, of course you were there

and we were hearing everything, we, of course.

So, but, but, I see that, talk about that.

- I feel like, as an actor, or as a person

everyone has all sides to themselves.

- Right.

- Like in High School, sometimes you get rewarded,

you feel safe in one area.

I'm a jock. - Right.

- Or, I'm smart. - Right.

- Or I'm the funny guy. - Yeah.

- And so you always present that.

- Yeah.

- The beauty of being an actor is

you get the permission to try to dive into

those other side of yourselves,

where, a lot of people don't investigate.

So, and a lot of it to me is watching people

who I would go, oh that guy.

- Who was that guy. - That guy's scary,

I see that guy's got, or that guy's got issues.

Oh, I know a guy who feels like that, right.

- Yeah, so was that some guy

that you were channeling or just.

- Different people I knew.

- Oh wow, wow. - Different people I knew.

I mean aren't you the same?

Sometimes it's not specific,

it's just recognizing a feeling.

- Exactly.

- That you know that energy in the room.

You know that energy and you're like,

oh God there that is.

- I worked with Robin Williams, he was incredible at improv.

But somebody by the name of Ron Howard,

Google that for you youngsters, Ron Howard said

you was the greatest improv ever.

- I don't know about that, but that's very nice of him.

I love, I loved it, I did it younger.

You did as well. - Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- So, I loved it but I think people make too big of a deal

like it's, I think friends do it joking around as kids.

- Right, right.

- When you're bored and you don't have a lot of stuff

around you, you'll be like, okay let me come in,

I'll be this guy and you be this.

You try and make each other laugh.

- Right.

- So, it's always just playful.

- How did family life change you?

Vince Vaughn, I, just tell me if I'm wrong

but I saw, when I would see you out, I would see

this tall dude who was just, I mean, it was this.

You know, but then.

- I got to a point, I loved being single

and I just love meeting people, I love, don't you?

- Yeah.

- I love meeting people.

I like, I like, you know, I think sometimes you can have

a whole relationship in two days with somebody, right.

I mean that in the best way possible.

- (laughing) Yeah, yeah.

- I mean that, I think that's, I enjoy that.

- So, so, so what do you mean?

- It's connecting, it's connected.

I love getting connected. - So you see someone

and you just wanna get connected.

- Yes, I like that, I like that feeling,

I think it's fun, I enjoy that, I wanna hit,

I wanna listen, I wanna hear about it.

- You wanna what?

- I wanna listen, I do, don't you?

I enjoy everything about it, I enjoyed it.

But then, I always loved family.

- You love family.

- And family became important, kids became important to me.

- Right, right, right.

- And so, I got older and what we do,

you always feel like you're 18, right.

- Yeah, yeah.

- I mean we don't have a structure.

One day we do something, then we don't.

And then you're off for a while so you find something.

But you never have like a job and a thing.

So, it's like, I just felt like I was a kid.

I never, but I wasn't, I was getting older.

And I remember thinking to myself, like at first

I was like well I just gotta meet someone great.

And I thought, that sounds so arrogant.

Like, as if I'm perfect.

I just haven't bumped into someone terrific.

I thought, I have to start changing what I'm doing

to bring that around me.

- Wow, that.

- You know, now I'm thrilled, and I'm glad,

I love my kids, I love my wife.

I really enjoy spending time with them,

I'm excited to be there, right.

- How many kids now?

- Two, how many do you have?

- I have two kids. - That's great.

- 24 and 9. - So, you started young?

- Yeah, I started young.

I was 25, 26 when I had my daughter.

- You were a baby.

- Yeah, and it was--

- Were you ready?

- I don't know, but you know what--

- Turned out great.

- My stepfather was like, yo, you'll be ready.

It'll happen, and all of those things that you've learned

from your parents, you know you have like.

It's just, having a daughter is tricky

because you do have to think, oh my God,

I hope, how was I out there?

What is my karma, how much did I put?

- I hope she doesn't meet me,

is that what you were thinking?

- Absolutely, but you know what,

I actually tell my daughter I hope you do meet me.

- Yeah, no I mean that, in a good way.

- You know why?

Because, although in my wildest, that was fun and wild.

- Of course. - But every time--

- Sincere, genuine. - Right.

- You were connected, you were genuine

and you were, yeah, totally, totally, exactly.

That's that southern Texas stuff.

- You don't have that. - Oh no, no, that changes.

Or you play the piano, or you make 'em laugh,

you're undefeated.

- All I'm trying to do is--

- There's no, there's no way.

If you got your sights on someone it was over,

everyone else had to move on.

'Cause you could present anything that,

whatever it needed, whatever the need is.

Whatever the case needed you were there.

Oh you'll pull the chair out, you'll make 'em laugh,

you like to play the piano, oh, I'm interested in

that subject too, you're a dangerous man Foxx.

You were a dangerous man.

You were a dangerous man.

- Vince Vaughn in the building.

- Most people would have one or maybe two go to pitches,

you got, the catcher's exhausted with you.

He's like, like you have a fastball, a change up,

and a slider, you got like, you got that knuckleball,

the screwball. - The screwball.

- You got the sinker. - The sinker, hey.

- You're a dangerous man Foxx.

- I was doing everything I can.

- You're a dangerous man. - To danger.

- And a beautiful man. Cheers to you.

- Thank you, cheers to you.

'Cause I was always just trying

to make it hard for her to leave me.

Now, here's the thing.

- Oh, it's a pleasure to meet you.

I'm from Texas originally, ma'am.

Please have a seat.

(singing)

I see you Foxx, you're dangerous.

- As you can see, I'm outmatched.

- No. - When it comes to this man.

- No, no.

- As you can see, it's Vince Vaughn time.

- All right.

- Good to see you dude.
