How to Remove Blackheads – Top 10 Natural Home Remedies
Blackheads are annoying and they are very hard to get rid of. But, the good news is
that I have some great home remedies for you in this video. Hopefully they will help you
get rid of your blackheads in no time. Let's begin…
Number 1 – Green Tea
It is a popular drink in many countries and green tea can also help treat blackheads efficiently.
You can purchase green tea powder at most supermarkets.
Mix 1 tablespoon of green tea powder with water creating a paste. Then scrub it on the
affected area for 2-3 minutes. Finally, rinse it off with warm water.
The antioxidants from green tea will help cleanse oily skin and open your pores, eliminating
your blackheads.
Number 2 – Cinnamon Powder
Cinnamon not only effectively prevents the occurrence of blackheads but it also makes
your skin smooth and bright. All you need to do is mix cinnamon powder
with water. Then apply the paste on the areas where blackheads appear. After 15 to 20 minutes,
rinse with warm water.
Number 3 – Toothpaste
Using toothpaste is an extremely simple home remedy for removing blackheads. Thanks to
the ingredients of toothpaste – Sodium pyrophosphate. Toothpaste contains properties similar to
baking soda which also help reduce the amount of oil on the skin.
You just need to apply a little bit of toothpaste on the area affected by blackheads and gently
scrub it for 2-3 minutes. Then, rinse with cool water.
Number 4 – Baking Soda
Baking soda is without a doubt an effective treatment for blackheads. It helps remove
dirt and oil. Mix two tablespoons of baking soda with water
and then apply the mixture to your face. Scrub the area for 5 minutes. After that, wait for
20 minutes before you rinse it off with warm water. You should use this method twice a
week for best results.
Number 5 – Turmeric
Turmeric is considered to be one of the best home remedies for removing blackheads quickly
and efficiently. It not only eliminates blackheads effectively, but it also helps blur bruises,
scarring and acne naturally. You will need turmeric and some mint juice. Then mix them
together to create a solution and apply it to your blackheads. Leave it on for 3 to 5
minutes and then rinse with warm water. Regularly using Turmeric will help you get
rid of the discomforts of blackheads and restore your glowing and smooth skin.
Number 6 – Apples
Apples are great for getting rid of blackheads. They are rich in antioxidants, so this remedy
should become a routine on your journey to eliminate blackheads. You will need a medium-sized
apple and then cut it into small pieces. The next step is to mix ½ cup of boiled milk
with the apple pieces. Use a blender for best results. Then, apply the mix to the affected
area of skin and leave it on for 30 minutes. Finally, rinse your face with warm water.
Number 7 – Sugar
This one is very simple. Take a tablespoon of sugar. Add a few drops
of lemon juice to it. Rub it in a circular motion on your cheeks, nose and face. Then
rinse. This remedy removes dead cells, resulting in clear and glowing skin.
Number 8 – Sea Salt
Add a little water to sea salt and rub the mixture between the palms of your hands. Now
apply the mixture in an even layer all over the blackheads. Leave it on for 5 minutes
and then start scrubbing the area. The mineral properties of sea salt will effectively exfoliate
the skin and extract the dirt accumulated in the skin pores. The unclogging of pores
will give your skin a clean and fresh look.
Number 9 – Oatmeal
Oatmeal serves the same purpose as sugar when it comes to blackheads. It will deeply cleanse
your pores and thus remove blackheads. Mix two tablespoons of oatmeal with a tablespoon
of lemon and a tablespoon of yogurt. Gently scrub this mixture in a circular motion, focusing
on areas where blackheads are visible. Then, let it sit for about 10 minutes before rinsing
it off.
Number 10 – Clay
Clay is a trending homemade remedy for clogged pores, especially for blackheads on the nose.
And according to those who have tried it, the results are quite promising. You may use
bentonite clay for this mask, as it contains minerals that can make your skin glow and
at the same time draw out all of the oils and impurities from pores.
Get a tablespoon of bentonite clay and dilute it with some water, until a thick paste forms.
Then apply this onto your face and let it sit for about 20 minutes or until it dries.
Then rinse off the clay. If your face feels a little uncomfortable, you can add some moisturizer.
