GAMPER & DADONI - Creep (ft. Ember Island)

When you were here before

Couldn't look you in the eye

You're just like an angel

Your skin makes me cry

You float like a feather

In a beautiful world

I wish I was special

You're so very special

But I'm a creep

I'm a weirdo

What the hell am I doing here?

I don't belong here

I don't belong here

I don't care if it hurts

I want to have control

I want a perfect body

I want a perfect soul

I want you to notice

When I'm not around

I wish I was special

You're so very special

But I'm a creep

I'm a weirdo

What the hell am I doing here?

I don't belong here

I don't belong here

I don't belong here

But I'm a creep

I'm a weirdo

What the hell am I doing here?

I don't belong here

Stossel: Entrepreneur Saves Free College Courses from Government Ban - Duration: 3:08.

College

costs a fortune.

Most Americans can't afford tuition.

Fortunately

some colleges

now put their professors lectures

online

so

everyone can learn.

Here's a sample

How we derive energy

from triglyceride

This Berkeley video

makes chemistry interesting.

because carbon and hydrogen are nonpolar

those are insoluble

For five years

anyone could access

20,000 videos

on Berkeley's website.

But then

President Obama's Justice Department

sent Berkeley this threatening letter

Berkeley's in violation of title 2

The Attorney General may initiate a lawsuit.

It's all because of a well intended law

called

the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Both blatant and subtle discrimination

A young Al Gore

pushed for that law.

President Bush senior signed it.

Both parties applauded.

Who wouldn't?

Who could object

to a law that says

"No individual

with a disability

shall be

denied the benefits of services?

But as usual,

the good intentions had

unintended consequences.

All lectures are being deleted

so now no one can access them.

Berkeley took its videos down

because closed captioning is expensive.

It has to be done by a

person who listens

and then types out each word.

Computers can transcribe cheaply

but they're lousy at it.

When a Harvard video said

"on our campus",

it was transcribed as

"hot Kampen good".

Our experienced transcriptionists

will perfectly transcribe your recordings.

Berkeley didn't want to spend millions

on companies like this,

so it blocked everyone

from seeing its lectures.

Everyone's treated equally.

Hearing people

have no advantage over the deaf.

Nobody

gets to see the videos.

Government equality police

doing their work.

But

fortunately

the videos will survive,

thanks to the internet

and pissed off entrepreneurs

like Jeremy Kaufman.

We're gonna keep it available.

Kaufman downloaded

all the Berkeley videos before

they were taken down

and reposted them

to his web site

LBRY,

spelled funny.

The Justice Department might say

you're making life

tougher for deaf people.

I don't think anyone thinks that

it wouldn't be better

if stuff were subtitled for deaf people

but at the same time

it's ridiculous to say this content

can't be available unless

it's subtitled for deaf people.

Kaufman says he wants to help deaf people

but when closed captioning

costs millions,

Is that a reason that content

shouldn't be available to everyone?

Do you want to put a gun to someone's face

and say caption those videos?

It's absurd.

It is absurd.

But what government does

is often absurd.

Thank goodness for the internet

and people like Kaufman,

someone willing to spend his own money

to keep

information free.

Lucie Fink Plays Would You Rather With The Merrell Twins | YouTube Challenges | Refinery29 - Duration: 5:50.

Hey, guys!

It's Lucie Fink and I'm here today with

the Merrell Twins!

Hi!

Oh my gosh, you guys are so cute.

Thank you.

First thing's first, who's who?

I'm Veronica.

And I'm Vanessa.

How could we tell you apart, please?

Most people could tell us apart by our dimples.

That's what I would say is the easiest.

So I have one deep dimple and she has two.

They're like craters in her cheeks.

Veronica has one.

Vanessa has two.

Yes.

I'm just going to remember that because

there are two S's in Vanessa.

That's what I always say to people.

Wow.

But you thought about it on your own,

—so I'm proud of you. —Okay so this is some twin telepathy

because I have a twin too,

Yeah.

But we just don't look nearly as much

alike as these two.

So I always love meeting other twins

because I feel like we have a special bond.

Yes, we do.

We already connected because you knew.

You knew.

I knew.

Okay so we're here at VidCon

and we are about to play Would You Rather?

Oh!

These two don't even know what is coming

for them and I really caution them to think

wisely before they answer

what they would rather do.

Oh no. Okay.

I have a stack of some Refinery29 cards.

Here we go.

Okay.

Okay.

Would you rather be forced to wear wet socks

for the rest of your life

or be allowed to

shower one time a year?

I feel like if I wore wet socks for the rest of my life,

I'd get sick all the time,

so I'd rather do the one shower thing a year.

One shower a year from Veronica.

What about you, Vanessa?

I would probably have to do the one shower a year too

because if you wear wet socks all the time,

they become pruny and then your skin will peel.

I'd rather be dirty than have peely skin.

Okay.

The dirtiest twins on the internet.

Okay, next one.

Would you rather not be able to talk

or not be able to see for the rest of this game?

Probably see.

She said be careful with your answer.

–You? —I like talking.

I don't know, probably see.

Alright, let's get the blindfolds out.

See?

I knew it. I knew it.

What would you do if I said I wouldn't talk?

Would you mind reaching right next to you?

Oh no.

Yup, there you go.

Alright say goodbye to those beautiful eyes.

—Bye. –Okay, bye.

Would you rather only be able to whisper

or only be able to shout?

Umm…

Tough one.

Shout.

I'm a loud talker.

We've got a shouter.

I probably would whisper.

She hates it when I talk too loud.

—She talks so loud. —She's always shushing me.

That is like my sister.

My sister is always like,

"Shh, you're being too loud."

Would you rather

take a shot of mustard

or ketchup?

Ketchup.

Yeah, probably ketchup.

Well lucky for you,

we have two shots of ketchup right here.

That's great.

No!

So don't worry about drinking the whole thing, just,

you know, quick shot.

Reach in front of you.

Actually it's a little bit higher.

Vanessa, over here.

—Oh thank you, thank you, thank you. –It's right here. It's in my hand.

There you go.

Oh no this is going to make me throw up.

Goodbye to my breakfast.

I actually don't like ketchup.

She's holding her nose.

Don't worry about taking too much.

Is Vanessa doing it?

—She already did it. —She already did it?

Vanessa's done.

Oh my gosh. I hate ketchup.

This is a struggle for me.

Are we all good, girls?

Do we have to do the mustard?

No, you're good.

I knew she was going to gag.

Wow, Vanessa you downed that ketchup.

Did I?

Yeah.

Did I?

That was awful.

Would you rather drink the water in a public restroom

toilet once a night

or have chronic bad breath syndrome?

Halitosis.

You don't have toilet water, do you?

No don't worry this is not a

"you have to do this."

Okay, toilet.

I'd do the toilet water.

I guess I would do the toilet water.

Because I'm a very self-conscious person.

If I always had bad breath,

I'd be like, "Hey."

Agreed.

Okay last question, think carefully.

Oh no.

Would you rather take a bite of a dog treat

or eat three sour Warheads?

—Three sour Warheads. —Three sour Warheads.

Alright, bring out the sour.

Oh no.

You guys are getting to cleanse your ketchup palate

—with some nice —Yes, thank goodness.

sour Warheads.

Here are your cups.

Thank you.

Are they in there?

You know what, girls?

—Take off your blindfolds for this moment. —Okay.

Alright.

—Oh my god. —Oh goodness.

At the same time?

Yeah let's open them all.

Is my tongue going to bleed?

No.

I don't think so.

Okay, ready…

—One. —don't choke.

Okay, we won't.

Go.

These faces!

What are you feeling?

A lot of saliva?

I'm feeling good.

Are you wishing you had a dog treat

right about now?

Yeah?

Uh-uh.

My lord Jesus!

My mouth is full of spit.

Of spit?

That's what happens.

Sometimes even when you just see Warheads,

your salivary glands start working.

But look, it looks like it's coming down.

It's coming down a little.

Now they're just getting sweet.

Yeah.

Aww, man.

You guys made it!

I did it. I survived.

The Merrell Twins!

You made it out alive.

—Yes! —Barely.

Give it up for them.

I downed some ketchup.

Couldn't see.

Three Warheads and a shot of ketchup later,

they're still alive.

—Bring it in, twins. —It was so much fun.

I feel like we're siblings.

—Me too. —We technically are.

We are.

—All twins are siblings. –Next time, bring your twin.

I'll bring my twin next time.

—Yes. —See ya!

—Bye! —Bye!

Thanks for watching.

YouTube star PewDiePie faces backlash over racial slur

The 27-year-old video blogger, the world highest-paid YouTube star, called an opponent a f**king n**ger while live streaming himself playing online game PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds, before correcting himself to f**king a**hole, and apologising, adding, I didnt mean it in a bad way.

This isnt the first time PewDiePie, real name Felix Kjellberg, has courted controversy - he was dropped from Disney-owned Maker Studios over allegations of anti-Semitism earlier this year (17).

In response to his latest scandal, Sean Vanaman, the co-founder of games developer Campo Santo, announced he would be filing a copyright claim so YouTube executives would remove a video of Kjellberg playing his game Firewatch.

I am sick of this child getting more and more chances to make money off of what we make, he tweeted.

Id urge other developers & will be reaching out to folks much larger than us to cut him off from the content that has made him a milionaire (sic).

Furthermore, were complicit: Im sure weve made money off of the 5.7M views that video has and thats something for us to think about. His stream is not commentary, it is ad growth for his brand. Our game on his channel =endorsement..

The blogger, who films himself playing video games, has almost 60 million subscribers on YouTube, and reportedly earned £11 million from the site last year.

BREAKING Russia Releases Photos Claiming to Show US Spec Ops Equ - Duration: 5:08.

BREAKING Russia Releases Photos Claiming to Show US

Spec Ops Equipment in ISIS Positions in Syria

While coverage of the Islamic States reign of terror in Iraq and Syria has quietly disappeared

from the mainstream media, allegations and photos of the United States supporting and

funding the group continue to come to the forefront.

The latest battle is occurring over Deir er-Zor, the largest city in eastern Syria, where both

the U.S. and Russia claim to be fighting against ISIS.

However, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, aerial images of ISIS positions

included equipment from U.S. Army Special Forces.

In a statement posted on its Facebook page, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that

U.S. Special Operations Forces units enable US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces units to

smoothly advance through the ISIS formations and because they are facing no resistance

from ISIS militants, the Syrian Democratic Forces units are advancing along the left

shore of the Euphrates toward Deir er-Zor.

Russias MoD claimed the aerial photos were taken on Sept. 8-12 over ISIS locations north

of Deir er-Zor.

The equipment from American Special Operations Forces came in the form of a large number

of American Hummer armored vehicles.

The statement noted that even though the presence of the Special Operations Forces would indicate

that they were aware of the terrorist groups presence in the area, its actions suggest

that the US troops feel safe in terrorist controlled regions, because there were

no calls for an organized screening patrol and there is no evidence of US-led coalition

airstrikes to drive out the militants.

The shots clearly show the US SOF units located at strongholds that had been equipped by the

ISIS terrorists.

Though there is no evidence of assault, struggle or any US-led coalition airstrikes to drive

out the militants.

Despite that the US strongholds being located in the ISIS areas, no screening patrol has

been organized at them.

This suggests that the US troops feel safe in terrorist controlled regions.

Both the statement and the aerial images from Russias Ministry of Defense serve as a

reminder that the lines are often blurred when it comes to the difference between the

Syrian Democratic Forces (which openly receive U.S. funding) and ISIS militants (which have

mysteriously received help from the U.S. on a number of occasions).

There have been accusations of the U.S. paying the salaries of the moderate rebels

it was training in Syria, with one rebel commander reportedly saying in July that U.S. support

had been waning for months, but the rebels had been given their salaries as normal

last month.

Russian President Putin alluded to the idea in 2014, when he called out the Obama Administration

for arming and training the Syrians that were fighting Assad, and then noted that

both the moderate rebels and the ISIS militants are mercenaries, often fighting

for the side that pays them the largest salary.

Another threat that President Obama mentioned was ISIS, Putin said.

Well who on earth armed them?

Who armed the Syrians that were fighting with Assad?

Who created the necessary political information and climate that facilitated this situation?

Who pushed for the delivery of arms to the area?

Do you really not understand who is fighting in Syria?

They are mercenaries mostly.

Do you understand they are paid money?

Mercenaries fight for whichever side pays more.

There are also a number of circumstances in which U.S. equipment and funding just happened

to benefit the Islamic State.

In October 2014, the Pentagon admitted that the U.S. airdropped weapons to ISIS, and blamed

the wind for the fact that those weapons were not delivered to Kurdish fighters in

Kobani.

In October 2016, the Pentagon was caught paying a PR firm $540 million to create fake terrorist

videosmuch like the ones purported to show ISIS militants beheading innocent civilians.

Then in a 2016 audit, the Department of Defense admitted that it could not account for $1

billion in weapons and equipment that was meant for forces in Syria, but likely ended

up in the hands of ISIS.

In 2017, allegations that U.S. Army Special Operations Forces units were found embedded

with ISIS militants are no surprise, given the United States history of being in the

right place at the right time to protect the group from being defeated.

As the reports become more and more obvious, it raises the question of whether the U.S.

government will ever admit its true role in the conflict.

Why do Balkan boys get a bad rap? - Duration: 4:42.

How's it going?

Don't you want to put something more comfortable on?

No idea. What do you mean?

Perhaps something like this.

And? Better, yeah?

Really - a tracksuit?

You said something more comfortable.

I imagined something in between. Like this.

That's what I imagined. This is Sven, as I know him.

Hello Sven. Hey Tama.

He's a bit nervous. You're actually a stand-up comedian.

My Scandinavian first name doesn't really

fit that well with my Balkan head shape.

You stand in front of people

who watch you and have expectations

and now you're just looking at a camera and that's making you nervous.

Yeah, it's making me very nervous.

I don't know if your laugh is genuine.

You're half Croatian, half Serbian.

Yes. And Swiss.

And 100% Swiss.

So, we have a 200% nationality. Whaaat?

You're a lawyer.

When you're with your colleagues,

do you not act the "Oberyugo",

Playing up your "Yugo" side?

Are you even allowed to say that if you're not a Yugoslav?

You simply always have to see how it's meant.

It's easy now in this context but if an old man on the train shouts to me: Hey Yugo...

...that's not on.

Then it's quite frankly nasty.

I don't have many lawyers in my circle of foreign friends.

I think that's a preconception.

Many lawyers are foreigners.

Swiss people with a migrant background, that is.

Look, he's even right about this.

For me, a foreigner is someone

who has been in Switzerland for three days and is leaving again tomorrow.

I'm a Swiss foreigner.

A new Swiss or whatever.

They don't end up in the headlines of a certain media

because nobody reports about the "ic" who's a PHD student

– nobody's interested.

But when Mr "ic" is caught speeding, then you hear about it.

Are there certain disadvantages to having a surname ending in "ic"?

I'm in the generation that got away with it.

I was born in the 90s.

There weren't any disadvantages for me, quite the opposite.

People think, "ic" – can they even read and write?

And if you can, they're shocked.

When I was 5, Swiss-Balkan relations

were still noticeably strained.

The mood and rhetoric used to be different.

If someone is called "Ivan. S" and is a rapist,

then you are associated with sex offenders.

That doesn't make you feel particularly nice.

Like you're a black sheep, that's being kicked out.

Let's talk about stereotypes.

Everyone from the Balkans is tall.

Well yeah, I'm 1.95 metres tall.

That means I'm one of the shorter Croatians.

Sometimes you feel really small

but when you're back in Switzerland, then you're the boss again.

You're criminals. And you all speed.

Factors that make someone a criminal are of course not nationality

but if you're a man under the age of 25

then it's likely that you'll end up being in trouble with the law.

If you compared young Swiss men with young foreign men,

the crime statistics would be fairly similar.

What prejudices still exist? Oh yeah, tracksuit bottoms.

You all wear tracksuit bottoms.

I want to answer that with a question: Why not?

In Basel, they wanted to ban tracksuits in secondary schools.

Tracksuits aren't just associated with antisocial behaviour.

Or people who only watch RTL2.

For me, tracksuits are also part of a sub-culture.

People don't get that.

People see a punk with a mohawk hairstyle, they can accept that.

With ripped jeans, a goth...

...but somehow nobody accepts the whole hiphop youth culture.

And tracksuits are bad per se.

I want to clear up this prejudice.

There are actually a lot of elegant, tailored tracksuits.

Many of my friends have the problem that while they look great in a suit,

they're missing that certain Balkan element.

I'll show you how they can get around this.

Do you think that schools should allow or ban tracksuits?

I'd like to know your thoughts.

I hope you enjoyed the video.

Thumbs up!

Just give me some love. Ok?

See you next time, bye!

Youtube Red: How to Watch Youtube Ad Free Plus Other Tips and Tricks - Duration: 5:31.

Hey guys, welcome back.

You guys requested this video.

This is basically kind of like a YouTube tips and tricks and hacks video.

Things I do to make my viewing experience more enjoyable.

I'm all about having an enjoyable viewer experience when I watch YouTube videos.

I watch YouTube across a wide variety of platforms.

Sometimes I watch it on my TV.

Most of the time I watch it on my laptop.

Sometimes I watch on my phone.

And on occasion, I watch it on my tablet.

So, one of the things that we did here at home, is we have the Google family plan.

The Google family plan is $15.99 a month.

Included in that $15.99 a month, we get YouTube Red for free.

We also get, I think, Google Play Music.

Basically what that does for us, is that it lets up to five people connect to Google Play

Music, so you have like ... It's basically, I guess, Google's answer to Spotify.

And you get all of this access to music, and you get to watch YouTube Red, which means

you get to watch YouTube without ads.

I love watching things without ads.

That's one of the reasons that I originally had a TiVo.

That's one of the reasons I like Netflix and Hulu, other stuff that's on demand.

So, if you don't want to do a Google Family Plan, which is $15.99 a month, which you can

split between five people, what you can do is get YouTube Red, or you can Google Play

Music, which is $9.99.

And the really cool thing about if you get either of those, you get the other.

So, if you pay for a YouTube Red subscription, you also get Google Play Music included, and

vice versa.

So, the other thing I really like, basically about the whole Google Family Plan, which

gives me the YouTube Red, is that basically, on YouTube Red, if I'm logged in, I don't

have to watch ads on anything.

It doesn't matter what platform.

So I don't have to watch it on my TV.

I don't have to watch it on my phone.

I don't have to have ads anywhere, which is really great.

It also lets you save videos, like on your phone, if you want to watch something later

for whenever you don't have cell reception.

So, like if you say you're going to be commuting on a train, or something, and you have your

headset, and you want to watch something on your phone, which you may not have the best

reception because you're going to go through a tunnel, that would be a time that you might

want to download a video to prep for that.

And then also, they give you access to exclusive content, like stuff from Rooster Teeth and

other big name YouTubers.

So, in my opinion, there's a lot of benefits to getting YouTube Red or the Google Family

Plan, or whatever.

But we have me, Ray, and Dave on our plan.

And then I think we also have one of our friends, Mike, and I think we have Ray's parents.

So, it works out really well for us.

Now, the next thing that I do to make watching YouTube videos more enjoyable, is I typically

watch on my laptop.

And the reason I do that, is because you can, on your laptop, change the speed of the video

you're watching.

So, you don't have to watch it normal speed.

You can speed things up to two times speed, which is hilarious.

I've watched my own videos at two times speed, and just laughed my ass off, because of how

I sound.

But a lot of times when I'm watching videos, I usually watch at like 1.5.

And you can slow them down as well.

So if you don't like ... If something is too fast, like if you're watching somebody who

speaks really, really fast, like Liv Lovers Her Makeup speaks super fast, you can slow

her down.

I really wish that this option was available on our cell phones and tablets, but currently

it's not.

And it drives me crazy, because I'm like, "Why is this not available on my tablet?

It should be on my tablet."

So YouTube really needs to fix that.

the number three thing that I like to do for videos, if I'm having trouble understanding

the person and how they speak because I do have a bit of a hearing problem, is I turn

on closed captioning.

Now, you may notice from my own videos, I do closed captioning for all of my videos.

And reason I do that is because I know what it's like to be unable to understand somebody

because they talk too fast, or I can't hear it through their accent, or they just have

a really shitty mic.

So, I personally do closed captioning for all of my videos to make it easier on people.

So I appreciate when other people have closed captioning as well.

Now, YouTube will do like a default captioning for people on videos, but their default system

really sucks.

And sometimes if it's been like crowd source, people will put really weird things on videos,

like, "Now here comes a MILF."

Cause somebody did that to one of my videos, and I was like, "No.

Oh, ew."

So, that's why I do my own closed captioning rather than just relying on YouTube.

But I really like the fact that if I'm in a situation where I need to watch a video

with no sound, I can just on closed captioning, and kind of get the gist of what's going on.

So if you're somebody who does make videos, I highly recommend that you add your own closed

captioning.

You transcribe your own videos, because it'll make it much more accessible for other people

who are hard of hearing, or for people who are hard of hearing, or are deaf.

It'll really help them out.

So there are a couple keyboard commands that I have found for watching YouTube that I really

like to make it easier to kind of control what you're doing.

If you hit K, it'll pause, or un-pause a video.

If you hit M, it'll mute or unmute a video.

And then if you hit F, it'll full screen, or take off full screen.

So those are three of the keyboard shortcuts that I really like.

And I wish I had known years ago, but I didn't learn until this year.

The last thing that you might be really interested in, is that you can do slow-mo with any YouTube

video by holding down the space bar.

And I don't know why this is a built in command, but it is, so that way if you're watching

something, and you want to see if you saw, like a dog out of the corner of your eye,

you can check it out and say, "Oh, yep.

There was a dog that just ran by."

I find it occasionally useful.

So, anyway.

That completes this video.

Basically, the things that I find really useful for making YouTube more enjoyable are, watching

on my laptop, having YouTube Red so I never had to watch an ad, and the keyboard shortcuts.

So anyway, these are all the different things that I do to make watching YouTube more enjoyable.

if you haven't checked it out, definitely check out YouTube Red or the Google Family

Plan, or Google Play Music, because I think that there's a lot of benefit to having that.

At least we have found a lot of benefit with it.

We really like it.
