Hey guys, it's me Rahul, and today I would like start this video with a question, When was
the last time you used or even saw a smartphone with removable battery ?
I assume the answer is "a Long time ago", because I can't remember the last time I
have used one.
Which got me wondering "what happened to removable battery smartphones?
. Why.. all flagship devices these days has non removable battery even though a lot of
users prefer the option of having the ability to swap out batteries.
The only phones which still has removable batteries are budget phones and feature phones,
which somewhat indicates that normal users actually prefer removable battery so they
can swap out when they need and replace the battery with ease
Another factor which comes into play when we talk about the advantages and disadvantages
of removable batteries is "safety", users actually feel more safe using a phone with
removable battery, and the option to swap out to a new one when need is a really compelling
feature for a normal user .Even with all these demands for removable battery smartphones,
why major smartphone manufacturers aren't making them anymore, let's find out.
Let's start with most obvious reason behind this shift, Apple.
Apple is the biggest tech giant in the world and they can influence a lot of what is going
on in the tech space.
If you take a look at apple's history of iPhones, not even the first iphone has a removable
battery.
Iphone's have always been and will be a monolithic device with built in battery. Why
are they doing it from the start ? there are a couple of reasons,
What i think is the main reason behind this way of designing is something called "abstraction
" in tech abstraction means hiding certain details from the user in order to provide
security and convenience.
Apple have always been known for these things, that is why they are so successful as a company.
Selling an iphone as a single unit makes a lot of sense, the customers who are buying
these phones don't have to worry about the battery inside it.
But like anything there is another reason as well, profit .
Let's consider an example, imagine you have a phone which has a removable battery, and
for some reason , you are having problems with the battery, what will you do? You goto
a nearby mobile shop and buy a new battery right?, but consider this same situation
and this time you cannot replace the battery by yourself because it is builtin.
If you want to get the problem fixed you need to goto an official store and get it fixed,
which will cost twice as much, and what most people will do in this scenario is, they will
buy a new phone,.
This is a very shady business strategy that some companies do.By making everything built
in and inaccessible to normal user, these companies control what you can and can't do
with your own phone and will make you buy a new one by setting the repair fee very close
to half the price of a new phone.
I don't hate apple, I love their products , iphones are truly incredible devices, but
because of their decision of going with a built in battery from the start influenced
all the other manufacturers to do the same.
I don't entirely believe other manufactures copied apple just because they thought that
it will sell more devices,
There are few other reasons as well.
No1 is unibody design.
it basically means that you cannot open up or remove the battery.
some of the pros of unibody design is that internal parts of your phone will have more
protection compared to other designs and your device will be somewhat water resistant, and
it also allows manufacturers to reduce the footprint and thickness of a device which
will in-turn make the device feel more premium (by using glass and metal) and easy to handle.
The 2nd reason is "battery design".When I say the term "phone battery " this might
be the image that comes to your mind.
That is all gonna change in few years,
By making the batteries built in to the board of the phone, manufacturers have the freedom
to change the design of the cell, they no longer have to follow the traditional design,
they can design batteries in such a way that it takes full advantage of the empty spaces
inside a phone's chassis, like on the 12-inch macbook pro.
This is a great advantage of non removable batteries, it gives freedom to manufacturer
to make batteries that are more efficient ,reliable and with a bigger capacity without
making the phone bulky.
Reason no 3 "power banks", the wide use and availability of power banks literally
killed the removable battery design, it made removable batteries pointless.
There is no reason to carry an extra battery when you can carry a power bank which can
maybe charge your device twice., and these battery bank cases that are so popular nowadays
made it so easy to carry a power-bank with you wherever you go.
And with all these merits I don't think removable battery is ever gonna come back
. And i'm glad that we have moved on to a much better design.

Yea....I'm VLOGGING now - Duration: 15:23.
life of Mikey warning the preceding program contains scenes and events that
are extremely mundane and boring it's not my fault that my life is this boring
okay I promise I'll get better at this my hobbies involve eating sleeping and
occasional walks on the beach by the way if you're reading this please be
informed that Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers a peck of okay you
know what just just read whatever's there and viewer discretion advised okay
finally light in the good here boy okay so I know this is kind of random but I
did see on Twitter somewhere that I wanted to do some vlogging and so I
guess this is like the first vlog that I'm gonna really be posting on the
channel after you know the hiatus from the Christmas vlog I want to do vlogs
like once like weekly vlog so it's not gonna be the daily vlog that you see
most people on YouTube doing it is going to be like at the end of the week I will
post it at the end of the week I want to post a video of everything that happened
during my week please excuse me intermission time okay so yeah sorry
about that guys um so like I was saying the weekly vlogs would be I'm probably
gonna post around Saturday or Sunday and if I'm around there so that pretty whole
week I'll try and get some vlogs of some footage of whatever I did between that
week with I went to the gym which will probably be going on my roto-rooter
muscle series so looking for that but I want to show you guys a little bit of
what I do I also want to do a video just talking about how I make money how a
young person can make money in Trinidad and Tobago whether they be on YouTube or
is teaching or you're doing cosmetics anything like that because I feel like
people are they just rush into any kind of job and they don't really think about
the long term which is okay you know it's okay to not know what you want to
do at the time but you want to make some money man you gotta taste it down think
about it and you know so where I'm at right now I'm going to show you I am at
my mom's I'm at my mom's school in for a spin so if you guys are interested in
your you know who are doing whether a CA or I teach
SSC SAT Math CSEC math and yeah I also I'm trying to do add math but that's a
lot of content so I'm not really gonna do that right now so especially since
I'm going to school I do from frieza's also but um yeah so right now I am at my
mom's place whoa I'm actually gonna do a video for
one of my student that's what I do I post videos for my students as well on
YouTube to kinda help them and give them a little bit of guidance and Keanu also
have them do miss classes they can come and who delight in the good here boy
give you a kiss boy I mean girl your kiss girl what okay okay wait now
yes I just eat a lot of food and my buddy's finger all the way oh by the way
we're driving a Porsche formatted in well not in the car but we had to stop
by to be some on the highway so let's watch her for me because we just went to
really want to check out a car somebody's car at Grand Bazaar and we
bought food in chrome Grand Bazaar I'm Cameron Bure me it was not crib in
Cassio's it place next to tandoori hot so if you buy food they from there today
just be a little bit cautious because I don't know what was in that food but she
vomited and it was so nasty it was shouting Ashley and I was like
okay definitely my ban from there like I eat a busy I'm checking from you but I'm
fine I don't know maybe I've got but I stomach or about was just good no I'm
saying but um yeah so if you guys are interested in lessons let me know if not
Blair you know this fit on your own anyway so what I'm gonna do now is make
some videos and then yes this is like the Wednesday positive locks are
probably pretty I'll put the date somewhere so you guys can see it so
so yeah girl got an award this watch the high-back prize given today so I wasn't
mad for it I was home sleeping yeah she got to know what pocket I make
achievement so you know pat yourself on the back but um no we are in the market
for a car right now we have one car and for a family of four
especially with four drivers is difficult so we want to get another car
we've had to have we usually have two cars just that the last time we had two
cars that had a company car so now we're going to have two of our own
and ever since we've ever since we been in the SUV game it just means me like we
can go back to having a sedan we can go back to having a low car it just doesn't
work for us especially since we're all tall people
so yeah we're gonna look at a SUV or Sorento in the second-hand car but I
think it would suit our needs at the moment you know yeah that's as positive
blog and it's not as far as you know look at Paul or any other youtuber who
goes on these big events or whatever you know just daily lives and I'm saying we
doing we do mean I'm trying I'm trying I'm trying and jubilant you will a beat
now I'm playing okay anyway I'm just always amazed right
because here this camera honestly like it makes you born in the clean the
comment I used before which was really my dad's own
nothing in comparison and you can definitely see it on the podcast that I
recorded yesterday my goodness it's like chalk and cheese and I never really
understood what that scene meant because I mean I get it that you know chalk and
cheese completely different but white short white chalk and cheese and like
couldn't think of anything else I know but like white chalk and she's like I
mean I don't know it fits yeah I feel like somebody was like what
are you talking about these are two different things like choking yeah it's
probably a like a cheese angry does I don't know I don't know but yeah so
that's what we're gonna do now so now it's time to show you guys a
little bit of b-roll of us driving to the place so I hope you enjoyed the
cinematic so that's it for this or I didn't black out
I should put it okay now bye bye guys I know like how they are like this
underneath oh my god okay I'm trying to show really didn't know
so way back guys you know I was just an unfortunate boy to try the famous
YouTube trying to somebody like cover the screen and then you just have to
pull your handle ooh my hands sweaty I can't see that grease but year we still
here we can reach yet okay so now that wanna show you cinematic I was driving
around so wait a night even snap
yo yo yo yo yeah well guess what is another part of the vlog so many weekly
vlogs right now I'm just chilling in my room you know trying to give you guys
like a look into my life I know it's my life is very boring okay I'm just gonna
say that right off the top now I'm saying but um
yeah right now I'm in my room just chillin listening to some schoolboy q
that album that he dropped my goodness it's like I've been listening to this
album like a right shoe dog and I'm like I've been sleeping on schoolboy q bland
face I'll keep oh that album I mean it's just so hard at it and I just listening
to mom is like yeah I feel like a real girl of sinfulness and I'm probably like
people come here like we're whatever but this make you feel like I really do you
know I mean but um yeah so I'm just saying you know editing some videos
probably puttin a little bit of videos for my students you know this just in
the life of Mikey boo type video so I hope you guys really appreciate these
videos I'm really trying to film some more stuff I have I'm gonna make a video
on this but I have so many ideas in my head but I don't have the time to
execute because I have school I know I keep complaining about school and I
always talk about school and Yui and all these things but honestly I really need
to get out of UB as quickly as possible because there's just so much out there
for you would any world for me to do and I'm just like brah Yui and university is
holding me back from my dreams I'm studying civil engineering if you
guys don't know I don't like I don't want to do this no more like honestly I
don't even feel like I'm in school at this point I just feel like I want to
stand up cuz I'm I'm so fired up I'm so fired up about this I don't want
to be it school anymore because I don't see where I feel like
them oh yes son I don't appeal school anymore man I wanna do something like
honestly people say that don't if you want or you want to do YouTube for money
don't do it and I agree but I mean I want to make some I will have to
laughter live but I can't just drop my degree and just do what I want to do
actually have to you know and then I have to work to make
money so I could buy the camera gear socket make good videos and good quality
I mean I don't need to have exceptional quality but I mean you guys can tell the
quality be looking kinda good now I'm saying and I think you guys would
appreciate that I don't know if you do a lot how many a 50/50 to subscribers at
the point I'm making of this video but um yeah I don't know I just I just
really like feel like the same you know what to hell with it I'm dropping out of
school dad I'll go do what I want to do when he okay I'm stop complaining and
everybody has a path in their life to follow what I'm saying I try not to be
too motivation on with you guys but not just how it is
I love that type of guy I'm just the guys I was talking about motivation and
passion and all that non fun stuff and hopefully this behind the scenes of my
life who can I lift you guys know how I really am like I'm really a clown like
harshly I really expound like the dough take anything I say seriously like
motivational videos is true that out and everyone just I'm just talking tech
normal but but um not really right now I'm gonna get something to eat because I
am hungry and you know if you guys eaten something just let me know what you guys
eaten when you're watching this video let me know I'm gonna finish editing
some videos expect a video on hopefully I don't know it's gonna be all by the
time I post this or whatever well probably not there's gonna be the shrug
the cut no the confessions of a tall guy and I'm really looking forward to that
with you and then I have a another video called YouTube addiction that I really
looking forward to as well so yeah boy um I don't know oh I'm some of my school
friends subscribe to me which is cool like I'm like they don't they don't I'm
doing them you know I'm saying or whatever but uh ya know me some music I
just like I don't wanna do what I'm doing right now I just want to like live
my life I wanna do YouTube as a job like since 2009 when I started my new channel
which is like very early I mean I was on YouTube since like it started like no
joke we had dial-up internet and I used to watch videos or I true dog like right
you are used to watching YouTube videos and YouTube is my life I watch YouTube
more than I I was you tomorrow night watch cable
and we leave enough cable for long after we got we heard about Netflix we
switched immediately because cable had nothing to watch except for like sports
like I was basking water football that's about it and then after that they like
nothing else now I'm saying so I'm just like what we did cable for and now I
just watched YouTube reading all the time
I might even subscribe to get youtuber read you know because I don't want to
see no ads but I guess you know ads as one pity money pity build and also I
want to talk about what YouTube did to us like I have to get a thousand
subscribers by the end of the year I don't have to have 4,000 watch four
thousand hours not minutes you know four thousand hours but you can what wanna
see a video on that so that's what I'm gonna be are before you can see this

The Five Love Languages | Improving Communication in Relationships - Duration: 7:25.
Hey, friends. Are you and your spouse speaking the same love language?
Today on the video, I want to talk about the five love languages and how you can
use these languages to make your love life with your partner better.
The five love languages comes from a book that I have actually read a few times, and
it is The Five Love Languages by Dr. Gary Chapman. Gary Chapman explains that
there are five love languages that we can use. One is words of affirmation,
the other is quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service,
and physical touch. So, let me break this down just a little bit
for those of you who have never heard of the book. Gary Chapman talks about our
love languages, and what he means by love language is, as an example,
my primary love language is words of affirmation. Now, that's how I best
receive love. So when someone affirms me verbally, that really makes me feel good.
But that might not necessarily be the way that my husband receives love the most.
So, as an example, let's say that my husband's primary love language is gifts.
So he feels really, really loved when I get him a little gift, a big gift.
So, for him, if he gives me a gift, he's thinking that, "She's going
to love this. This is going to be great," because, again, that's his primary
love language. If he gives me a gift, I'm going to appreciate it, of course,
but he's not necessarily, "Speaking my language." He's not giving me the words
of affirmation, which is what really gets to my core. The whole premise of the book
that Gary Chapman is explaining what the love languages are and why they're
important. Because if we're not communicating in the same way,
then we're kind of misfiring. It's nice, but it's not as wonderful and amazing
as it could be. So, let's look into the first one, it's words of affirmation.
That's probably pretty obvious, but it would be along the lines of like,
"Hey, the house looks really great. You did a really great job cleaning up,"
or "Hey, you look amazing for our date tonight. Gosh, you look really
pretty," or, "You look really nice today." Just little things where you're affirming
the person for who they are. So, that's mine, and it can be affirming
for big things that I've done or just something as simple as,
"Thanks for throwing my laundry in the dryer." Number two is quality time.
Quality time, again, probably pretty obvious,
but you're feeling loved the most when your special person sets aside time just
for you, no phone, no TV, no computer, nothing. You're just having quality
one-on-one time, you know, eye contact, the whole bit, with your partner.
And the no phone thing, that's a big one. I don't think that we realize how much
we're on our phones. So, quality time is number two.
So, number three is receiving gifts. Again, pretty obvious.
It doesn't have to be extravagant. It can be something as simple as a rose
from the gas station, or your favorite gum, or, "Hey,
I picked you up the kind of tea that you like." Or it could be extravagant,
it doesn't really matter. The point is that this person was thinking
about you while they were out doing their thing and they saw this and they thought,
"Oh, she would really like that." And it's just that I was being thought
of while you were out living your life and then you brought me this thing. Okay, so,
number four, acts of service. I'm thinking there's probably a lot
of moms out there that are like, "Oh, me. This is mine. Acts of service.
Clean the house." No, but for real, though, acts of service are for those
people who the way that they receive love best is when their partner makes a
sacrifice and does something for them. So, as an example, I hate taking
out the trash. If my primary love language was acts of service,
if my husband were to commit himself to taking out the trash all the time, every
single day or whatever, and I never had to touch the trash, that would be a sacrifice
for him because I don't really know anybody that likes taking the trash out.
But for me, this is an act of service that he's doing for me that makes me feel
really loved because he's taking care of this thing that I hate.
So, acts of service is number four. And the last one, number five,
physical touch. So, meanwhile, all the husbands are like, "Me, me."
And that is true. Physical touch is a really important part of any marriage.
But the one thing that Gary Chapman talks about in this book is a lot of husbands
might mistake physical intimacy for, you know...that's their primary love
language because they really like the intimate part of the marriage.
That's true, not to negate that. However, the physical touch thing is more than just
the intimacy. It's, like, when my husband comes up behind me and
pats my back, or rubs my shoulder, or pats my bum, just something non-sexual.
When he holds my hand when we're out, or when we're watching a movie, if he,
instead of sitting on his comfy chair, if he comes over and sits next to me.
So, it's the physical touch in a non-sexual way that reminds me that,
you know, "I'm thinking of you, I love you." Play with my hair massage my
shoulders, whatever. Physical touch that is non-sexual.
And that's the fifth one. Those are the five love languages that
Gary Chapman teaches about. So, if you haven't read the book or if you
haven't heard of it, I would strongly encourage you
to check it out because it really does make a difference when you and your
partner can get on the same page as far as speaking each other's love languages or
even just learning your partner's love language. So, for those of you who
are readers, you can get Dr. Chapman's book on Amazon.
You can do hardcover, you can also do Kindle.
And for those of you who are not readers or you don't really have time to read
a book, mothers with kids, you can actually go to his website and
it's a free resource. You can just take a little quiz on your
phone or on your computer that will tell you what your primary love language is.
And then, sometimes, you'll notice that there is a secondary
love language that comes in just right on the tail, which is kind of also nice
to know. Anyway, you can go to his website and check that out, and you can have your
partner do the same. It will give you a nice little blurb
about your love language and what that means, and then you and your partner can
email each other your results. I would just encourage you to check it
out because once you and your partner are able to get on the same track as far
as each other's love languages, it's a lot easier to really fill up that,
"Love tank," as Gary Chapman would say, and make them feel really loved and
really special. And it's actually not really that hard once you understand the
way they receive love best. I hope you enjoyed the video today.
If you do, I would love it if you would click Like. Or if you have a friend that
you think might benefit from it, I would love it if you would share
the video, too. I would encourage you to be a subscriber. We do a video every week,
and if you are a subscriber, then you get an email notification when we
post new videos so you can be one of the first to watch the videos.
We have a Facebook page and we also have a blog, and we'd love for you to check us
out in one of those areas. Thanks for watching, you guys, and,
hopefully, we'll see you next week. Bye.
