Today is holiday and I'm going to cook rice cake soup for December "Please Do".

The first thing to do is frying gronded garlics and green onions with some sesame oil.

Oh I washed my hands already

I will make it with my mom's recipe

Frying some beef and garlic with sesame oil

Put one spoon of grounded garlic.

I like it with much beef

I'll use beef leg bone broths instead of water for more flavor

Put some rice cake when water is boiling

When it floats, put some egg

Put some slat and turn off the stove

So easy!

Today I want to teach you how to tune your ukulele and I'm going to tell you a

little bit about the chords. Welcome back to the Baton Rouge Youtube channel. Today

I'm going to teach you how to tune the ukulele. If you want to play with others

or if you want to play tunes that you play along on a record for, I think you

should tune the correct way and that means that you hit just the exact pitch

that you need, in order to be in tune with the other instruments. You know I

love hiking with my ukulele and in that moment I really don't care if I am

playing with the exact right pitch. You know unless I play with a band or other

people I sometimes just tune it by ear, by what I hear and I know that the basic

chord of every ukulele is a major 6 chord. I'm gonna teach you how to tune

the ukulele just by ear in case you don't need the exact pitch. You go from

what a major 6 chord sounds like and I always start with the second string in

that case it's a C-

That's a major chord and now I add the 6. That's an A. So I have C - E - G - A. It

doesn't really matter if you're hiking or if you're away from other instruments

and other musicians, you just memorize this and then you just tune it the way

your ear tells you and that's one, three, five, six. So I hope that helps you. Do

you want to add anything? Yes if you want to play along with the songs

on the radio, or on CD and you know already how guitars work, you can just

think of guitar chords and then put a capo on in the fifth fret. Those

chords are the same as on the ukulele. So if you think

guitar chords with the capo in the fifth fret you get the ukulele chords like

this. Yeah so he already gave away that if you know how to play the guitar that

you don't have a hard job finding your chords. And that's what we're going to

talk about in the next session. We want to teach you some of the chords.

Cheong Wa Dae formally invites former President Lee Myung-bak to PyeongChang Olympics - Duration: 2:31.

Former president Lee Myung-bak is invited to the Pyeongchang Winter Games.

The formal invitation by the top office comes in spite of the ex-leader's recent verbal

attacks against the current administration.

Hwang Hojun has the full story.

At least for now,... the political animosity between Korea's current President and former

President Lee Myung-bak has decreased.

Upon President Moon Jae-in's order, the senior presidential secretary for political affairs

Han Byung-do visited ex-President Lee Myung-bak's office in Southern Seoul on Wednesday afternoon.

He delivered two letters of invitation; the first one, from the International Olympic

Committee, is to the PyeongChang 2018 opening and closing ceremonies and major Olympic events,...

and the second, to receptions and dinners, is from President Moon Jae-in.

"Well, I do hope the current government will successfully host the Olympics.

There is much I want to say, but since I was invited today, please tell the President that

I will positively consider accepting the invitation."

The invitations were made amid an investigation by prosecutors into corruption allegations

against Lee; the prosecutors earlier said they will likely summon the former president

for questioning once the PyeongChang Olympics comes to an end.

Just a few weeks ago, Lee publicly accused the Moon administration, denouncing the ongoing

probe against him as "political retaliation" over the suicide of former President Roh Moo-hyun,

who committed suicide during a corruption investigation while Lee was in office.

President Moon Jae-in in return said he is infuriated over the former President Lee Myung-bak

talking about political retaliation while directly mentioning the death of the late

former President Roh Moo-hyun, and that his accusation is an insult to the government.

A Blue House official said the invitations were sent out of respect, to honor the former

President, regardless of the situation.

In fact, it was under the Lee administration that PyeongChang won the bidding to become

only the third non-European or American host of the Winter Games, after losing the bids

for the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics.

However, Lee is the only living former president who got the invitation because the Honorable

Treatment of Ex-Presidents Act does not extend to those who have been sentenced to imprisonment

or heavier punishment, excluding former Presidents Park Geun-hye, Chun Doo-hwan, and Roh Tae-woo

from attending.

The Blue House said it will also invite the former first ladies who qualify, namely late

President Kim Young-sam's widow Son Myung-soon, late President Kim Dae-jung's widow Lee Hee-ho,

and late President Roh Moo-hyun's widow Kwon Yang-sook.

Samsung Electronics posted record earnings on robust demand for memory chips in 2017 - Duration: 1:36.

Samsung Electronics has outdone itself again.

The tech titan recorded a huge surge in its fourth quarter profits mainly thanks to rising

chip demand.

Cha Sang-mi breaks down the digits for us.

Samsung Electronics says it recorded an operating profit of about 14 billion U.S. dollars for

the final quarter of 2017,-- up 64-percent from the year before.

The company's fourth-quarter revenue was around 61-and-a-half billion dollars,... up 23-percent

on-year.

Looking at the full year,... the company recorded sales of 223-point-4 billion dollars in 2017,

with an operating profit of over 50 billion dollars, nearly double that of the year before,

and the best performance in Samsung Electronics' history.

All of this,... over strong demand for memory chips and sales of high-end display panels

that go into Apple's iPhone X.

The company's operating profits from its semiconductor businesses came to nearly 33 billion dollars

last year, accounting for over 65 percent of the company's total operating profit.

The IT mobile sector, which covers smartphones, made an operating profit of 2-point-6 billion

dollars for the fourth quarter, falling from 3 billion in the third quarter on increased

marketing costs for smartphones.

As for the prospects for 2018, experts say the strong global chip demand will continue,

but OLED profitability could drop in the first quarter due to the off-season in smartphone

market.
