Sinohobby Mini-Q Q2 98mm Conversion with Mini-Z Body - Duration: 5:32.

Hello everyone. Welcome to Beaver's hobby channel.

In this video I'm going to show you how to convert Mini-Q Q2 to 98mm wheelbase with minimal effort and parts.

Before we begin, as you see here I've changed the wheels to Mini-Z wheels along with bearings upgrade.

But I'm not going to show you how I did here it because I already did that in my MR03 bearing upgrade video and it is the same.

With that out of the way, let's begin.

What you need are T-plate for MR03 MM/LM. It's 4 mm shorter than T-plate for RM.

I've tried DIY it but it turned out very floppy.

I should have used a thicker plastic but anyway, I decided to buy a proper one from 3Racing instead.

Next is Mini-Z main damper spring, because the original is too stiff.

And last thing is M2 nylon standoff to replace the rolling damper.

First let's remove the rolling damper by undoing the screw that holds the main damper.

These 2 screws.

And the other one on the motor case.

Now remove the rolling damper by taking this piece off.

And unscrew the bottom of it.

Take the whole thing off along with the springs.

Now Insert M2 nylon standoff in place of rolling damper.

And put it back on the motor case so you can still use the main damper.

Next, replace the original T-plate with T-plate for MR03 MM/LM.

And put it in the first 2 holes.

And now you have 98mm wheelbase.

Finally, for the main damper, insert new spring.

And adjust the length before putting it back in.

However there is a problem. The damper isn't long enough.

So I got a servo arm then cut it to size and put it in.

And here it is 98mm Mini-Q Q2 with the least extra parts possible.

I want to use my Mini-Z Lexus body with this car so, what left to do is putting the front mount on.

And it's done!

As you can see here the front wheels are deep inside the body because this is wide body but the chassis is narrow.

As for the back I subtract the offset by 2 to get the look right.

You can check the offset you need for each body from links I put in the description.

If you use original LM motor case with anything except the 102mm LMP bodies, you have to subtract the rear offset by 2.

Because LM motor case is 4mm wider than other motor cases.

If you are looking to use a wide body, you should increase the front offset by 2 because Mini-Q Q2 is narrow.

Right now my car still doesn't look right.

So what I'm going to do in the next video is converting it to 94mm and use a narrow body.

Which body? I hear you ask.

The Nissan GT-R, of course.

#ArtemisFowlReadalong Returns in January 2019! [CC] - Duration: 3:57.

Hello everybody, my name is Cara, and today I have an announcement I am very

excited about: Artemis Fowl Readalong is returning in January of next year! So

some of you might remember that my friend Giselle Bradley and I started

this earlier in the year but due to some scheduling issues and just a lot of

stuff happening at the same time it kind of just petered out and we didn't really

have the time or the energy to dedicate to it, but Giselle and I are coming back

and we are now joined by another co-host, Taylor from PageScreenTaylor, and we

are so so happy to have her joining us. I'll of course link all of the channels

and Twitter accounts for my co-hosts and I really encourage you guys to check

them out; I will also link their announcement videos as soon as those are

posted. So this time for the Artemis Fowl Readalong we are going to be reading one

book per month starting in January, leading up to the Artemis Fowl movie

premiere in August. We thought it would be the perfect time to get everyone

caught up, maybe reread the books before you see the movie or if you never had a

chance to read them maybe this is the perfect time for you to try them out! You

know whether you've read this series 100 times or you've never actually gotten

around to it we are so so excited to be doing this and we really hope you can

join us. It's going to be a very low-key, low-stress readathon, no challenges or

anything, we're just gonna be reading one book a month. We will most likely be

having some kind of liveshow discussion during each month after we have finished

the book, and we will probably have some other Artemis Fowl-themed content on our

channels throughout the year, but it will again be very low stress and there won't

be a ton of challenges or things that you have to do in order to participate,

we're just happy to have you guys reading with us. So just to refresh you

guys on the titles of the series, we will be reading Artemis Fowl in January, The

Arctic Incident in February, The Eternity Code in March, The Opal Deception in

April, The Lost Colony in May, The Time Paradox in June, The Atlantis Complex in

July, and of course finishing with The Last Guardian in August, the month in

which the movie will be coming out... finally!

after how many years? *laughs* Also, just to be clear, this readathon is open to anyone

regardless of whether or not you are actually planning to see the movie or

hashtag, but another exciting addition is we actually have an official

Twitter account now for the readathon! The Twitter account is @ArtemisFowlRead

So if you ever do any discussion videos or posts or reviews or anything

related to the readalong, please make sure to tag us in that post or video or

whatever so that we can retweet it and share it and get everyone talking about

the series together. And in case you're a little shaky on what exactly this series

is about, we follow a criminal mastermind who's only 12

years old in the first book, named Artemis Fowl II, and the whole plot of

the first book and of the series gets kicked off when he decides to capture a

fairy and hold them for ransom in order to get some of the fairy gold. There is a

ton of Irish folklore woven into these but they're also a really great kind of

bridge series between fantasy and science fiction so I think if either of

those are things you enjoy you could really really enjoy this series. It's of

course personally one of my favorites, I have reread it more times than I can

count, and I'm pretty sure that Artemis Fowl

(the character) was a formative experience in my love for complex characters and

morally grey characters and just fantastic development in characters. Not

to mention the fact that Holly Short is one of my favorite female protagonists

of all time and I'm definitely glad that I was exposed to her awesomeness at a very

young age. So if you guys are planning to join in or even interested in maybe

trying this series and seeing if you like it, start requesting the books from

your library or ordering them online, you know whatever you guys want to do in

order to read along with us! Also this is a good time to mention that they have

released and are continuing to release brand-new, bright, colorful covers for the

series; I will insert a picture. I didn't really like them at first, and I still

think they don't really showcase the series' themes or kind of tone as well as

some of the other ones, like I always have a soft spot for my original covers,

but I do think they are aesthetically very appealing [color-wise] and if these appeal to

you guys now would be the perfect time to pick them up, because I'm pretty sure

online right now they are very inexpensive, I think all the ones that

are available are like under seven dollars or something. All right, so I really
