Waching daily Dec 16 2018

today we're gonna talk about how to install an extruder an extruder a fan

and a bed so I need to go over a couple of things so first of all we have our

fan port which is D9 right here then we have our second extruder which is D7 our

first extruder which is D10 and then our bed which is D8 over here we have

our thermistors these are used to tell temperature so the first one over here

is extruder one then we have our bed and then we have our second extruder so to

connect it what we have to do is first we'll start with a fan so we're going to

use the notch connector on the fan and connect it to our fan port right here

next we're gonna connect one of the extruders so what we're going to do is

we're going to connect to our port right here and we're going to screw that down

then we'll do the other side now doesn't matter for plus and minus on these

so there is the other one now we're going to connect the actual extruder to

the bed now we're going to connect the next extruder and this is gonna be our

extruder for the first extruder

and we're gonna connect the thermistor connector for that now polarity doesn't

matter on this for plus or minus as well so that's connected now we're gonna do

the bed so first I'm going to connect the actual thermistor which is the white

port in the center and finally the two connectors for the bed keep in mind that

polarity is well here for voltage is not a factor

and in a moment I'll show you how to connect the USB port to the computer

okay to connect the USB you're going to connect the big side to the MKS Gen L

board and the small side of the computer and you're gonna hear a beep now keep in

mind once it's energized you don't want to touch this area in a moment I'll show

you how to load the Marlin firmware okay we're gonna open up a marlin folder for

bug-fix 1.1.9 we're gonna open up the Marlin sub folder now we're gonna

search on pins for the MKS Gen L and we're gonna open that up and as you can

see inside here we have the definition for the board but down below I want to

show you something this is, "MOSFET_D_PIN 7", that's the extra extruder that

was added for digital pin 7 and then down below we have what's called the

include and it says, "pins_RAMPS.h", this is the definition of

all the pins on your board not just these so we also have this which is chip

select this is used for a custom stepper like the TMC 2130 which I'll cover in

future tutorials but now I want to open up, "boards.h" and show you what that

looks like so you're gonna search on boards and open that up and then down

below what you see right here this is a definition or name of the actual board

that we're going to use in the Marlin folder for motherboards and that's the

definition of the board that we just looked at for pins for MKS Gen L so I'm

going to close out of here and I'm going to find the Marlin solution file or dot

Ino and open that up okay now that we're in

the Marlin solution file or the IDE we're gonna do a search on, "motherboard"

and what we have here is the default name which is, "BOARD_RAMPS_14_EFB" or extruder fan and bed

we're gonna change that to the name that we copied out of the boards file and now

it's, "BOARD_MKS_GEN_L", now we have to also add an

additional extruder to our definition so we're going to say there's two extruders

instead of one and then we have to change down below our thermistor type

now what we have here are defined thermistor types now the default one is

what most of you will use if you have a custom one then you can pick another

number but down below here we have our first thermistor which is already

defined but now we got to do the second one and we're gonna call that one as

well and then we also have to define our bed so let's see if we can find that

real quick look here it is so we're gonna call that default one as well and

then there's thermal protection that are on by default and remember to always

watch your printer when it's active or energized with power so the next thing

we want to do is we want to select the board port number and in this case I

believe it's on port three so we're good there and then we want to select the

actual board type which in this case will be the Arduino mega 2560 and so now

we're going to compile and upload and in a moment I'll show you in Pronterface

how we tested

okay before we can test it we have to energize the actual power for the 12

volts so I'm going to connect the power I've connected the connectors over here

already so keep in mind that safety is paramount when we're doing this okay so

as you can see now it's energized so you should not touch this area just like the

USB and at the moment I'll show you how to test it okay we're going to open up

Pronterface executable we're gonna connect to the device as you can see we only

have one extruder to choose from here so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go

over to settings options and I'm going to search on extruders I don't change

that from 1 to 2 and then okay I'm gonna close Pronterface application and now I'm

gonna reopen it now as you can tell after we connect we now have a tool

count of either 0 or 1 I'm going to show you how to turn on the second extruder I

have the temperature set here 75 degrees Celsius so I'm gonna change that

60 so it's a little bit less dangerous and always keep an eye on your printer

when it's active with extruders or the heat bed so I'm gonna click set and as

you can tell that you're starting to rise over here for the second extruder

so now I'm gonna turn on the bed the bed is active as well so the next thing that

I want to do is I want to turn on the fan so you can see how that works so I'm

gonna type, "m106 p0" which is for the first fan and then,

"s200", is the speed so I'm gonna press send and I'll show you what happens on the

MKS configuration

and now that you see the fan is running I'm gonna turn the fan off in this case

I'm gonna take the speed to zero and press Enter I'll show you in a moment

what it looks like

so if you like my tutorial please press the like button and subscribe and share

all you liked thank you very much for your time bye.

Free To Choose 1980 – Who Protects the Consumer?– Regulations - Duration: 2:06.

This is hardly what the third

President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson,

whose monument this is, had in mind

when he defined a wise and frugal government

as, "one, which restrains men from

injuring each other and leaves

them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits

of industry and improvement."

Ever since the Corvair affair, the U.S. government

has increasingly been muscling in between

buyer and seller in the marketplaces of America.

By Thomas Jefferson's standards, what we have

today is not a wise and frugal government-

but a spendthrift and snooping government.

The federal regulations that govern our

lives are available in many places.

One set is here, in the Library of Congress

in Washington, D .C..

In 1936, the federal government established

the Federal Register to record all of the regulations,

hearings and other matters connected with

the agencies in Washington.

This is volume 1, number 1.

In 1936, it took three volumes like this

to record all these matters.

In 1937, it took four- and then it

grew and grew and grew.

At first rather slowly and gradually,

but even so, year by year-

it took a bigger and bigger pile

to hold all the regulations

and hearings for that year.

Then around 1970- came a veritable explosion-

so that one pile is no longer enough to hold

the regulations for that year.

It takes two and then three piles.

Until on one day in 1977,

September 28, the Federal Register had

no fewer than 1,754 pages

and these aren't exactly what

you'd call small pages, either.

Capítulo 45 - Bienvenidos a Pamir - Duration: 13:14.

We are back in Dushanbe.

We are at the Biker Post.

Many of the bikes of the festival have stopped here to check tires,

and some other problems with the bikes.

Geniya has a problem with the air filter,

that seems to be very oily.

She is deciding whether or not to clean it before going to Pamir.

Here, Артём is with his gas pump problem,

which we do not know if it's electric, or not.

And we have fixed the axle of my motorcycle.

The rear axle was a little off.

But it's still making noise so we do not really know what it is.

What's up?

I don't understand.

- Tell me. - We need...

You need a tube.

You don't have, you need.

Ok. Push.

No, I don't have.

Ok, let's go!

Yes... Wait!

Some smoke went out.

I don't know if its normal.

Just a little.

This has spark. No problem.

Fuck. (блять)

Ok. We are here in the middle of nowhere.

I don't know where are we staying.

You have to light because...

Yeah, ok. Thank you.

So, for our Tajikistan adventure.

For fixing the bikes.

- Sometimes. - For our private escort.

We had a Police private escort today.

Because Geniya forgot to put benzine in the bike.

It is really a very interesting story.

And he was in the Police car.

Because he was not on the bike.

Yeah. So...

Let's drink!

Good. More, more and more... Later.

For Geniya who doesn't drink!

We will have to drink all by ourselves.

Alcoholic caretaker. (Алкоголики смотритель)

There are some things in this country, and also in Russia,

which are difficult for me to get used to.

Which is, for example,

this double red lights on the road.

- Double red lights? - What do you mean?

You have a red light here and you have another red light in the other side.

Because sometimes it is green,

but not for the direction you want to take.

You saw that I stopped because it was red here, but green there.

Or red, green and red.

- Goodbye my friends! . We are saying goodbye to Артём.

- Goodbye. - Have a nice road in Uzbekistan.

- Go back home safely. - I hope it will be good.

Ok. Bye!

Bike is working.

We will meet.

Later.

This morning we separated from Arthr.

He has returned to Dushanbe to make another small revision to the bike.

And I just separated from Geniya.

She has gone down the road in Vahdat.

On the off-road road. I came by asphalt.

These are the first views we have, once past the festival area.

In which we were the other day.

- You don't understand Russian? (Русский не понимай?) - No. (Нет)

It is a pity that, with views like these, we have this.

(Garbage)

The cavalry comes to visit me.

And even though we had asphalt, let's say a not so good one,

at least we came at a speed, more or less, from 80 to 100 kilometers per hour.

And now we have passed Kulob and we entered an area that is close to the border of Afghanistan.

And it turns out that we have a bit of asphalt, and another bit of broken road.

A bit of asphalt, and another bit of broken road.

It is like this for a while now.

And, the truth is, I never quite understand how it could be that, suddenly, a piece of the road

is completely flooded with stones.

As if the road had never existed.

That is, we go from what we have there, to this.

Is it really worth that much effort?

I wanted to record a bit of the disastrous area we have just came out from.

You can see how the asphalt is. "Asphalt".

And now I was a little bit scared because I stopped here and I saw that there is a barrier.

There is a sign that says: "It ends here, there is a police control."

I mean, a border control.

And I thought that I was already entering Afghanistan, which I did not want to do.

It turns out that this is where the control point of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBOA) is located.

I think it's called like that.

Which is the common road zone between Afghanistan and Tajikistan,

in which an additional permit is required in the visa.

And here is where they let you pass, or not.

Actually, it seems like we are leaving Tajikistan.

But we are not entering Afghanistan either. We are like in a middle zone.

Let's see what happens, because I do not want to keep my passport blocked for five years for the US,

for having entered Afghanistan.

And we have found the way to Afghanistan,

but it will be at another time.

At the last checkpoint they told me that we were 70 km from the Kalaikhum.

I do not know how much is missing. The truth is that I am going right now about 20 or 30 km/h maximum.

The road does not look like it will change much.

We'll see, because it's getting dark

and the mountains do not help much.

We are going to stay here in Kalaikhum, in a Moto-Stay.

And as I have seen here the sticker

of "On Her Bike", we will do the same as always.

Perfect!

We have it twice, it's ok. No problem!

And we continue with dinner.

We have everything here

Bread, grapes, fruits, some tomatoes that I already ate.

East rice, with vegetables and meat, which I do not remember how it's called.

I'll put it here. (Pilaf)

- Here is... What's your name? - Ikdov.

Ikdov, here.

I have him entertained with the phone.

Let's eat.

they didn't do the song "don't put perfume"

why ?!

going home

they did a lot of solo songs

they are very handsome

but they are all babies.. I am their big nuna

this is the end of the video

so the concert was fun

but if there is one thing that I regret is

that the fact that when I met them

I should've ask a lot of questions

and talk a little bit more

but anyway this was a good experience

and next time I will be more confident

and I will ask a bunch of questions

I didn't know that Kpop was so famous and big even in the US

I was very surprised

I saw that in the crowd at the concert it was 90% girls

and in all those girls

I think it was 50-50

50% asian American and 50% other foreigners

and I was very surprised that

in the foreigners girls there were a lot

of Latin Americans !

anyway, if you like that kind of video please give it a thumbs up

see you on instagram

or in my next video

Top 10 Superheroes That Wolverine Respects - Duration: 6:39.

Welcome back friends to Top 10 Nerd, Im your host Johnny Rogers and we will be talking

about good old fashion R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Before we get started hit that thumbs up button if you love Wolverine and let us know in the

comments which superheroes you respect.

Now lets get to todays list of the Top 10 Superheroes that Wolverine Respects

Wolverine is well known to be a lone wolf of sorts that typically alienates himself

from other people.

Although many have seen through his tough exterior to build a deep lasting bond with

the charming yet antisocial hero.

There was even a hilarious part in Wolverine #16 where they showed various popular Marvel

characters giving their thoughts on Wolverine.

Maybe some of those comments have impacted this list.

Lets have a look

#10 Nick Fury As a result of Wolverine being able to heal

himself and Nick using the infinity formula the pair have been around for quite some time.

Because of this they have crossed paths many times and while they would occasionally butt

heads, wolverine does show respect for Nick Fury.

Over the course of a trilogy series in the late 80s early 90s Wolverine actually helped

Nick rescue his son from a brainwashing scheme.

The two even talked out different issues they had with each others ideologies eventually

coming to a compromise.

#9 Spider-Woman The respect he holds for Spider-Woman - the

Jessica Drew version I should mention.

Comes from their similar complicated history that they bond over.

Spider-Woman was a pivotal part of The Avengers, but the two also shared ties in the spy and

superhuman community as well.

After Jessica was impersonated by a Skrull during the secret invasion, Logan was one

of the first to help her adjust to the new world.

The pair have created a long lasting friendship that appears to be very important to the both

of them and have given much support to one another over the years.

#8 Rogue Another superhero that Logan displays respect

for is the troubled Rogue.

Initially she had a very difficult time adjusting and fitting in at the X-Men Mansion until

Wolverine took her under his wing.

Acting as a father figure for Rogue he must respect how far shes come over the years since

her early days as a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Logan experienced a very similar start when entering the X-Men team where most believed

he wasnt to be trusted, much like Rogue.

I mean the name doesnt exactly help her credibility.

Rogue would actually progress so much as a result of this mentorship that she would go

on to lead the X-Men and the Avengers at one point.

#7 Captain America This to me is considered a brothers in arms

respect.

With Captain America fighting in World War 2 he ended up working side by side with Wolverine

who resided in the Canadian military.

(show photo https://bit.ly/2APmOfC) Logan would also go on to join the New Avengers

which is really where they would go on to respect one another.

Even if Wolverine had some gross personal habits while living in the Avengers Tower,

Steve managed to tolerate him.

Wolverine has an ultimate respect for Cap as well because of the credibility for being

a hero that he received when fighting alongside Captain America.

#6 Colossus While the two have fought in the past they

actually have a ton in common.

Both hail from colder climates, both arent really afraid to die and lets not forget that

both of them would set off a metal detector at the airport.

The pair actually started their new jobs with the X-Men around the same time so have been

colleagues for many years.

Wolverine however respects Colossus both personally and professionally.

You can really get a good feel for this respect whenever you see Logan just allowing Colossus

to toss him around for their tag-team move the fastball special

#5 Hawkeye Wolverine doesnt just respect Hawkeye he has

a deep trust for the superhero as well.

The two share commonalities within the realms of leading a team and executing plans in a

precise manner.

In one specific timeline the pair are the very last surviving heroes left on the planet

and must work together.

Logan actually seeks him out because he understands that Clint does not just have many areas of

expertise, but hes also very reliable.

#4 Captain Marvel These two go way back even before their days

of putting on superhero costumes to save the world.

Specifically the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel.

Because Carol had worked for the Air Force she crossed paths a few times with Logan when

he was a CIA operative.

The two also share a connection with alcohol abuse.

When Carol was dropped by the Avengers for being drunk on the job, Logan helped her with

sobriety sending her life in a whole new direction.

Gotta respect that.

#3 Professor X Now some of you may not recognize Charles

Xavier as a superhero, but setting aside his telepathic abilities he has been a hero to

the mutants hes helped.

Logan and Charles have been friends and comrades for a long time.

Plus Professor X is really the father figure that Logan never had growing up.

Wolverine displays this respect for Charles by way of not telling him just how much of

an effect his uncontrollable psychic powers had in the Westchester disaster.

Especially considering that Logan doesnt hold back on taking down dangerous heroes if needed,

I mean he even took out Jean Grey when she got a little too crazy.

However with Charles he seems to hold back and actually continues to protect him.

#2 Spider-Man The two have worked together in the past albeit

due to extenuating circumstances, but the pair could never really get on the same page

with their choice of tactics.

It wasnt until they joined the Avengers that they finally had to work together as a team.

After Captain America was killed following the events of the first Civil War, Spidey

and Logan became much closer.

Wolverine even specifically sought out Peter to comfort him.

The two even spent much time together when running from the authorities and as a result

Logan became one of the few people that Spider-Man revealed his identity to.

How can you not respect a superhero who trusts you that much.

#1 Nightcrawler This is our number one spot because not only

does Wolverine respect Kurt Wagner, he is quite possibly one of his best friends.

Logan understands what its like to be treated as if youre just an animal and also joined

the X-Men around the same time as Kurt.

Nightcrawler is almost an angel on the shoulder of Wolverine always attempting to help Logan

become a better person.

He even went from calling him a misfit to coining the nickname Elf because well Kurt

made him laugh a lot.

Aweeee.

The pair even have an adorable celebrity shared name known as Logurt.

And that has been the Top 10 Superheroes that Wolverine Respects.

Thank you for watching and if you enjoyed hit that thumbs up button.

If youre new to the channel definitely dont forget to subscribe so you know when we post

new videos.

Also if you click the playlist on the screen you can see more videos like this one and

let us know in the comments which one from the list that you respect the most.

From Top 10 Nerd, Im Johnny Rogers and until next time, take care.

LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY: Ultimate Winter Travel Guide - Duration: 7:11.

no matter how many times you have been to New York the city can always

overwhelm you with the crazy amount of things to experience but what is there

to do in New York City during the winter my name is Eric Conover and in this

video I'm going to share with you my comprehensive expert list of the top

things to do when living or visiting in New York City

during those long cold winter months

number one on my list is visit the Rockefeller tree the Rockefeller tree is

a holiday beacon for New Yorkers and the 750,000 that daily visitors expected the

first tree was put up in the 1930s during the Depression era construction

of Rockefeller Center when workers decorated a small 20 foot tall fir tree

this year's tree is a towering 72 foot tall Norway spruce from the town of

wallkill New York the tree is lit either during the first week of December or the

last week of November and stays up until January 7th and when the tree is taken

down the lumber is donated to Habitat for Humanity now the best times to visit

the tree are super early in the morning or very very late at night as it's the

most visited spot in New York during the holiday season

oh thank you I've actually fallen over there right now the Rockefeller tree is

definitely something that everyone should experience at least once in their

lifetime next on my list right across from Rockefeller Center is the Saks

Fifth Avenue the tradition started in 2004 and has continued now for over two

decades the theme this year is the theater of dreams and it was worked on

for about ten months leading up to the installation with nearly 200 people

working on the project the light show made my list mainly because it's right

across from the tree although it's not a personal favor of mine it's for sure a

must-see if it's your first time in New York City

during the holiday season number three on my list is ice-skating now there are

three main rinks to skate on during the winter season the most iconic is the

woman rink in Central Park the rink was opened in 1949 and it's been a fixture

in New York City culture ever since

yeah hands down the best thing to do New York City in the winter go to Central

Park go ice-skating there's nothing better than this pricing and operating

hours vary so make sure to pause right now and screenshot this next clip the

second is the rink at Rockefeller Center skating here is on a first-come

first-served basis which means that some days you might have to wait a very long

time and during peak holiday hours it costs $33 to enter and eight dollars to

rent skates and my personal favorite rink is the winter Village at Bryant

Park this is the only free ice-skating rink in the entire city

but it's not technically free skate rentals will cost you twenty dollars

large bag check $15 and $10 for a locker the winter village is open 8 a.m.

through 10:00 p.m. daily through March 3rd it's just about 8 o'clock in the

morning and my number one tip for Bryant Park get here early if you come here

around 4 5 o'clock in the evening this place is packed you won't even be able

to see the ice but right now you've got the place yourself lots of people

enjoying the beautiful New York weather if you can't make it there that early

and you don't mind the crowds there is nothing like going for skates surrounded

by the towering buildings of midtown Manhattan after a few hours of

ice-skating out in the cold warm up with some world famous hot chocolate at the

next spot on my list the city bakery hey could I have a hot chocolate please on a

marshmallow test a place with a combined 141 years of baking experience City

Bakery is my go-to spot during the winter the hot chocolate is an

exquisitely rich tree crafted from an assortment of dark chocolate bars and

dairy from farms mostly located in upstate New York topped off with a

gigantic homemade marshmallow here we have the world-famous hot chocolate from

the city bakery you can't even really call this hot chocolate it's more like a

chocolate soup you dip in the pretzel croissant into the hot chocolate and

enjoy we get the salt from the the pretzel croissant

you get the notes at the cocoa of course the homemade marshmallow which is kind

of hard to break apart you need like a fork to really get into this thing the

best way to warm up in the city on a cold day now if you're really trying to

go all out with the holiday spirit head it to the next spot on my list

Rolf's Christmas bar it's a snug German restaurant and bar with an old-world

vibe and it's known around the world for its elaborate holiday decorations but

don't be surprised to see a line down the block busy is an understatement

just to show you how packed this place actually gets I'm gonna try to walk back

through the bar so making my way back through the decorations excuse me Rolf's

was so packed that we headed down the street to patti McGuire's

Ale House the drinks are offs for a beer $18 here nine dollars half off you still

get that good New York City Christmas vibe without the crazy amounts of

tourists my protip go to Ralph's check it out look at all the decorations then

leave it go to pati McGuire's Ale House and actually kick back relax have a few

drinks with friends and truly enjoy that New York City holiday feeling another

alternative to keeping warm at during the long cold winter months is with some

of the best ramen that New York City has to offer we are now at Jun men ramen

right in the heart of Chelsea and the reason why I love this place especially

during the winter is the fact that it's so cozy it's basically a

hole-in-the-wall restaurant that just happens that world-class ramen it is the

perfect bar to get all nice and cozy and watch the snow fall outside on the

streets or if you're feeling adventurous the best way to enjoy in New York City

during the cold winter months is to fully embrace it and explore the city

during a snowstorm on average New York City gets around 3 feet of snowfall per

winter season there's really nothing quite like that first snowfall in the

city the snow itself sort of acts to absorb most of the sound and the city

can become completely silent hold your breath make a wish

countess this is the Magic Hour in New York City during the snowstorm city's

pretty much shut down once it starts getting dark people come out people

start drinking they go on the snow everyone's happy had become kids again

it just transforms the city and it makes for a very very unique experience if you

Scariest Little Big Planet Creepypastas - Duration: 6:32.

Hello and welcome back friends to Top 10 Gaming, Im your host Johnny Rogers and before we get

started make sure you hit that thumbs up button and let us know in the comments which creepypastas

youve enjoyed the most from us.

With that - lets get to todays list but for this one we will be tweaking the format a

bit to bring you the Top 5 Xbox Creepypastas

#5 Xbox Live This creepypasta is about a player who believes

his xbox live avatar is watching his every move.

Its normal for the avatar to wave at you, but his appeared to be looking right at him.

While gaming he receives a party invite with an empty field.

When he gets into the party his gamertag is in twice and is the only one in the party.

One said he was playing Trials and the other said he was editing an avatar.

He says hello, then echoed back he hears his voice say Hello.

Thinking its just a glitch he jokingly says - Why dont you come and say that to my face.

Thats when he hears his own voice say back - Maybe I might just do that.

He then sees his avatar begin forcing its way through the menus so his head now filled

the screen.

The avatar points at the player and then draws his finger across his throat.

Shortly after that the xbox began smoking and the screen went black.

The red rings of death appear on the console whenever he tries restarting it, so he sends

it away to be fixed.

When it returns, he signs in to find his inbox filled with voice messages all in his voice.

They were screaming - Where are you, were not done yet.

The final message said - Im done waiting, Im coming to get you

#4 Cheating Death This story involves the ghost of a girl trapped

in xbox live trying to warn another player of his demise.

He begins getting hard to decipher voice messages from an unknown player, again and again he

receives these static filled messages.

One day he can make out the word help and then in another message he can hear the name

Sally Greenwood.

He quickly googles the name to find a story of a young girl who had been killed in a fire

while playing her xbox.

The messages became more direct even calling him out by name saying - help me Sam, dont

let me die.

He couldnt believe what he was hearing and he went back to google more.

Upon searching Sally Greenwood and Sam.

He discovered that Sally had a friend named Sam - who before she was killed had commited

suicide.

It had to be a coincidence that they had the same name and one last voice message let out

a terrible screech causing our protagonist to black out.

He woke up in a hospital with the doctor saying that he was lucky his friend sally caught

him when he fell, the trauma to his head could have easily killed him.

Confused by this because the only Sally he knew was from these mysterious messages, he

turned on the xbox his parents brought to his bedside.

There was one message - I helped you Sam, now help me cheat death.

#3 Xbox Services Are Down The player in this story was very excited

to try out a new game on his xbox, he loaded it up right away and began playing online.

Everything appeared to be normal except for when he tried to invite his friends to the

party.

Every message he received from a friend just read - Xbox services are down.

This didnt make any sense though because he was online playing.

Assuming his game must be glitching he restarted it and sure enough the screen now read xbox

services are down.

He rushed downstairs to tell him mother what was happening because maybe the internet had

been disconnected.

When he called to her though she never turned to face him.

She just kept mumbling the words - xbox services are down.

Terrified by this he rushes back into his room when he receives a message saying - to

restore your service you must go out.

Then he hears the sound of the xbox turning on, but its louder than ever before.

It wont stop either he hears it again and again until finally he blacks out.

When he wakes up hes being rushed into a hospital and those xbox sounds he was hearing were

a defibrillator going off.

This was a terrible situation, but he was thankful that it must have been just a terrible

nightmare.

Thats when he hears the Doctor say to his parents - it appears as though he suffered

from a stroke, either that or his xbox services are down.

#2 Continue Watching This next story involves a gamer who is being

watched while playing Xbox in her college dorm.

She often would binge on netflix using his xbox 360 and her favorite food while doing

so was baked beans.

Her room mates even joked that she must have cans stacked next to her bed.

When she opened Netflix one night she noticed a new user called Shnuck on the screen that

she didnt recognize.

With her curiosity spiked she clicked on the profile to find the only category was continue

watching and all of the video thumbnails appeared to laptop camera stills.

The titles for the videos were different IP addresses.

She then clicked on one of the videos.

There was no sound and the girl in the video was a young blond girl around 18 who looked

very similar to herself.

After realizing that the videos were hacked webcam shots her stomach began to flip.

In the final video she watched two men in black suits with their faces blurred entered

the room and killed the girl.

The creepy part was how they bowed to the camera as if finishing a performance or confirming

their allegiance to the twisted person filming this.

She rushed to the police station to tell them everything that happened, but when they went

back to her dorm to inspect the xbox and the netflix account - they found no trace of the

mysterious user.

When the police left she noticed there was a small brown parcel sitting on her desk.

It was a can of baked beans and when she looked to see who it was from it just said - xoxo

Shnuck

#1 Its Just a Game This story starts with the protagonists cousin

telling him that his console had been acting strange.

It had glitched and apparently really creeped him out so to comfort his little cousin he

kept telling him - its just a game.

It wasnt just a game, the console had done something to his cousin.

He was too young for his parents to tell him what really happened and even the news stories

spoke of a wild animal attack and possible forced entry.

After his cousin died he was gifted with the console because they knew that he would have

wanted him to have it.

He sees his cousins old avatar and begins to cry, so he decides to create his own.

When hes loading a movie he notices his avatar frozen in place and staring off to the right

of the screen.

Thats when his cousins avatar walked in from the side and began strangling the avatar he

just created.

He dragged the corpse off screen and walked out seconds later smiling and waving.

Then he heard his cousins voice say - Remember its just a game.

And that has been the Top 5 Xbox Creepypastas.

What Happened When I Cut Google Out Of My Life - Duration: 4:14.

Matt Stuart: When Google launched Gmail in 2004,

it was almost unheard of to trade away

your personal data for a service.

But Gmail had a bunch of cool features,

including a spam filter that was amazing,

so a lot of people, including myself, signed up.

I use Google and Waze for navigation.

Chrome is my default browser.

Drive has all my documents,

and like everybody else, I'm on YouTube

way more often than I should be.

Oh, and let's not forget Google's first product,

their search engine.

Anything I search for online runs through it.

So yeah, Google knows a lot about me.

But after their social network Google+ had a data leak

and the company didn't really bother to tell anybody,

I decided it was time to quit Google.

Or, at least try to.

I know I can't quit completely.

I have four Google Home devices in my apartment.

So I can still use them to turn on the lights,

but I'm not going to use them for any Google functions

like my calendar or e-mail or anything like that.

Insider runs on Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs,

so I'm going to have to make an exception

for everything I do at work as well.

See?

I haven't even started yet and I already have two caveats.

Google is really good at a lot of things.

It might actually be a lot of work to do this.

Here's a rundown of all the alternatives I'll be using.

Goodbye, Google.

So, it's been about a week that I haven't used Google

and everything else is kind of terrible.

The email service Kolab Now that I was trying to use-

I couldn't get it to work on my phone.

I tried all different ways to set it up

and none of them would work.

I tried searching for a specific tweet

on DuckDuckGo, and the results were just terrible.

So I'm now using both Bing and Yahoo

and those are a little better.

I even forgot that Yahoo was a search engine.

So that is now the default search engine on my phone.

When I'm searching for some reference for something

for a story I try and use the filters on Google,

and you can really narrow down the dates that way,

and Yahoo and Bing don't really have those

fine-tuned controls.

For Firefox, it crashed with 15 tabs open.

I usually run about 50 tabs in Chrome,

so I will definitely be going back to Chrome

when this is over with.

The other thing with Firefox is it zooms

out of the page really easily,

as soon as you hit the Command-T

if you have two fingers on the trackpad

like you would as if you were scrolling or anything else,

it'll just zoom in or zoom out.

It's really annoying.

Another issue I found

is that my girlfriend and I both use Google Calendar

and that's how we kinda coordinate what we're doing

or where we are.

So not being able to do that is a little frustrating.

Another issue on my iPhone is I can't use Gboard right now,

and the default Apple keyboard sucks.

I don't know why they haven't changed it.

You still have to tap every button that you want to press,

and with Gboard you can just swipe it.

You can search for emojis. You can search for GIFs.

It's the best iPhone keyboard possible,

and not being able to use it is very frustrating.

A cool thing from using Apple Maps that I learned

is that if somebody has recently texted you an address,

and you open up Apple Maps,

Siri will suggest that address automatically

as your destination,

and you can click a little thing like

"Oh yeah, that's the one I want,"

and it will fill it in automatically.

A problem with the Apple Maps though

is that it doesn't give you the detailed traffic data

that you get from Google Maps.

It did show congestion, you know the green,

the yellow along the route,

but it didn't give me the update of

"Oh, this is gonna add five minutes to your trip,

this is gonna add 10 minutes to your trip."

And Google Maps is really good at doing that

when you're stuck in traffic.

So part of the reason I wanted to try this experiment

was because I knew they had so much information about me.

But, using all these disjointed services makes it difficult

and it's less convenient to do a lot of things online.

So maybe I don't think I should be giving them

all of my personal data,

but maybe just a little bit is okay.

As long as I can manage my personal info and other settings

on Google's personal info and privacy manager,

I'm okay sharing some information about myself.

Hey Google, log me back in.

Hello, Google.

Hi, Google.

Hi.
