hello everyone GHF here back at you with another G-shock G vlog video today I'm gonna

quickly try to disassemble this red back series g-shock DW 5 7 0 0 model. First of

all because I haven't disassembled a 5700 model on this channel yet, second of

all disassembling this specific watch will be coming really really helpful to

fully understand how the watch actually looks like on the inside for a all of

those 5700 watch on the market and also for this specific one because

it has really unique watch **face in there so I'm really curious to see how

is that, what is that, could we replicate that on any other

watch? a basic watch out there. So that is one of the major points that I'm looking

at right now other than just for watch disassembly.

So a moment of revelation here we are remove the back plate and there you go

so this is how the ion-plated to black back plate look like, I28K, and this is

the o-ring being stuck on there already, I'm not going to touch that and yeah this is

how the back plate looks like just over here and next thing is I'm

going to need to remove this back cushion, so looking pretty simple already

now. Alright not too much going on down here and next is I'm going to need to

pry the engine out, seems like we have yeah five layers of protection right, yep

we have five of them. So that is pretty cool

Ohh, there it is, so side cushioning, another metal part; metal frame to

support the module even further, let me put this at the back and this is how the

interior looks like you have the metal frame over there to support the glass

from the front as well and also the face plate over here which have the sneaker

and freaker writings. And the side button seems like

oh look at that, I'm not sure if you guys could see it, let me try to zoom in this

E-Clip or C-Clip came in different color way, look at it..what are those.. rose

gold or what, I'm sure if you could tell the

difference but that definitely not silver like most g-shock are so

interesting.

alright I just remove the watch bezel, look at that, matte gray finish, it is pretty

stiff by the way, so a sign of high-quality construction over there, the

hard case is just full black like so, with the glass at the front and what I'm

gonna do now is show you guys one more thing, this is a square G Shock watch

bezel, the basic 5600E ones, Let me try to show you guys..

There you go, they are exactly the same. I literally could swap the bezel in this

and at this watch band over here and bam! I got myself a weird sneaker freaker

g-shock watch. So your five seven zero zero technically is a five six zero zero

that appeared to look like it is black.. I'm sorry, not black. It is round but it is

actually a square G Shock watch they are exactly the same thing even though

they look different from the outside, so you could interchange the bezel so

this is the proof of that concept, they could do that

alright. So if you want to preserve the bezel, if any parts.. or any parts at all

in this watch, you could do that. But you'll still end up with this red display in

there. Pretty cool right?. So, let me remove this back finally I'm gonna need to

fully disassembled the watch engine and see how it goes,

Okay now, let me show you guys one by one all the parts that made up this G Shock

watch. First of all we have this display panel compartment which is similar to

most G Shock watch let me put at the back, it operates on cr2016, I'll wipe all

the finger prints after this, so don't worry about that. So this is the battery,

this is the back cushion, this is the battery compartment with the

piezoelectric speaker spring over there, and we'll have this connector down here

with Casio China signed at the side over there okay there you go put this thing

at the back. And this is the circuit board which is similar as the one on the

dw-5600 as well there there they are the same thing

alright, okay three two two nine module down there, so I hope you guys are satisfied with

those video, and now here is the EL backlighting, there you go, it came in orange;

incredible. Let me try to set this camera a little bit..go a bit darker. alright that

is how it looks like.. wait it looks different in person than it is in this

video. It looks much more deeper than the

one oh, here it is, so this is the perfect angle. Alright, that's how the EL

backlighting looks like, so that's why it light on to be looking like an orange

but then we have a red display so it appears to be reddish, there's gold spring down

there, let me zoom in there, there you go. Sorry about the dirt of my..of

my background guys because I haven't swapped this one yet. This is the sheet,

a metal sheet.. focus, there you go probably something to disperse all of

the lights, it looks like one of those metal sheets that I found on the origin

gold series g-shock watch. So. look at it, it is like a mesh steel, you could see through it.

And this is the display panel which came in clear

transparent red colorway there's two polarizer one at the front and one at

the back so there you go, this is the red display and we have this mesh-liked

thingy at the back that give the watch the sunburst, a circular-finished effect and

then you'll have the EL backlighting in orange and also this one could also

enhance that even further you know. Let me put this thing at the back, if I put

this EL back lighting sheets at the back, look at that, it enhanced the

display panel even further and I believe that's that is all right. That I have to

share right now, that I believe got me curious and I believe you guys are

curious about all this as well but I hope this answers it all for you guys

gonna end it over here assemble it all back and be done with the video I hope

Sewing Tutorial for Bonnie Blue Designs Zoe and Zachary Coat - Duration: 7:50.

Hey everyone, here is this adorable coat that I made for Henry using the Zachory and Zoe

pattern from Bonnie Blue Designs.

To begin, I cut out two sleeves for the lining as well as two sleeves for the coat, and you

can see that the lining sleeve is using the same pattern piece as the coat sleeve, but

the bottom portion of the sleeve is just folded up so it's out of the way when I cut it

out.

Then I have two coat front pieces as well as two coat front lining pieces.

Again, notice how the pattern is folded so you can cut the lining pieces without ruining

the pattern piece or needing to trace two.

And I lined up the edge of the lining fronts on the selvedge edge.

Then I've got one coat back cut on the fold as well as one coat back lining cut on the

fold.

Finally, you'll have two collars to cut out and I'd recommend doing both of these

out of your coat fabric.

Now I am not a coat expert, but I'm gabbling in some shaping techniques so that's why

you see all these little stitches around my collar.

I'm still learning and now thrilled with how it turned out here, so I'm not ready

to talk about that yet.

But I also lined the collar with some german interfacing strips.

These come precut for you and they are super convenient since you don't have to deal

with full width yards at a time.

Oh, and my final bit of advice for this collar is to do any embroidery work before cutting

out your collar.

And I do have a video that goes over the embroidery work for Henry's collar that is linked below.

Alright, to get on with the sewing… first I began with sewing the piping to the collar's

edge.

I chose the coat side of the collar, but it doesn't really matter which.

Then I joined the lining of the collar with right sides together with that and sewed with

the previous stitches of the collar facing up with the goal of stitching just inside

those previous stitches.

This gives a really neat, clean transition from your fabric to the piping.

Then I trimmed up that seam allowance, turned the collar right sides out, and gave everything

a really good ironing.

Next I moved onto constructing the body of the coat.

And I put little notches to mark the center front line as well as the folding line on

both the top and bottom of the coat pieces.

Then I joined the coat together at the shoulder seams.

I press these seams open and then repeat the same thing to the lining of the coat.

Joining those together at the shoulder seams.

Then I moved onto attaching the sleeves.

I did do a little stamped looking monogram on Henry's sleeve and I'll link that video

down below as well.

Then I eased the sleeve in using this technique where you put your finger behind your pressure

foot – I have a more detailed video for that linked down below as well.

After easing all the sleeves on the coat as well as the coat lining, I sewed the side

seams together.

And I'm really sorry, but I can't find that footage…

I'm really sorry, but all I did was put the coat right sides together and sew from

the wrist all the way down the sleeve, to the underarm, and pivot, and then continue

sewing down that side seam.

I repeated the same thing for the lining and ironed all of those seams open.

Then I put the lining together with the coat.

Basically, you'll have the wrong side of the coat touching the wrong side of the lining,

and put the lining sleeves through the coat ones.

After ironing the selvedge edges of the lining under and centering everything up, I basted

the two together around the neckline.

I'm leaving those coat center front edges free at this point – I'm an inch or so

past the lining edge, going around that neckline until I get to other lining – and again,

stopping about an inch or so before I get to the end of the lining's edge.

Then I centered up the collar on the coat and basted that into place, again, leaving

the coat front edges out of this seam.

And after I was done attaching the collar to the coat, then I went and folded those

front edges over so the right sides were touching and I sewed along the top of this – so it's

right in line with those neck stitches.

I hope all of this is making sense.

I believe this is a different method than what the pattern calls for, but this method

allows you to tuck the raw edges of the bias strip under as you'll see in a second.

So you can see that if you turn the top of the facing right sides out, it'll give a

clean, neat corner and finish.

Lastly, I attached the bias strip.

Honestly, I was trying out a new method here, but I wouldn't repeat it.

Instead, I would cut a two inch wide bias strip, fold it in half length wise, and attach

the raw edge strip to the neckline.

And I would attach and sew it in the same manner, so everything else that you're seeing

is what I would normally do, but for some reason I decided to try this, and like I said,

I wouldn't do it again since now I had to fold that raw edge under twice, which is a

pain in the butt in my book, and sew that down.

If you do the folded method like I normally do, then you're sewing down a folded edge,

so it's easier and cleaner of a transition.

Anywho, live and learn.

But you can see that regardless of the bias strip method, sewing the facing at the top

will and bring the bias strip underneath that will allow for a clean inside of the coat

when you turn that facing right sides out.

So after I sew the bias strip into place, then I iron that raw edge under and sew that

down.

But as I just mentioned, I should have folded a 2 inch wide bias strip in half and then

I would be sewing down a folded edge right now instead.

And yes, you could hand sew this instead if you aren't comfortable with machine sewing

it.

And at this point, I just have some hand sewing left to do.

I folded the bottom of the lining sleeve up as well as the bottom of the coat sleeve until

it was the desired length.

I'll hand sew these together.

Then I put the selvedge edge of the lining inside the folded edge of the facing, and

I'll sew these together later too.

Finally, I turn up the bottom of the coat in the same manner as the sleeves and sew

those together by hand.

Now in all of these cases, I'm only going through the lining and inside part of the

coat.

I am careful not to take my stitches to the right side of the coat.

And then I sewed some hand down buttonholes, and ughh, I kicked myself at the end, I thought,

these should be bound button holes.

I'll have to do that for his coat next year.

Wouldn't they be so smart looking??

Anywho, such as life.

Overall, I think it's really adorable and a great first coat for his first winter.

The pattern is really easy to come together and I love this wool – lightweight but still

warm.

1999-2004 Mustang MMD ABS Rear Window Louvers Review & Install - Duration: 5:41.

Hey, guys.

Today we're going to be taking a look at and installing the MMD rear window louvers for

1999 to 2004 Mustangs.

You're going to want to be checking these out if you're looking for a set of classic

looking window louvers and you're on a budget.

These cost just under $250.

They're made of ABS plastic, and they have a black textured finish to them.

You guys can install them right out of the box like we did here today or you can paint

match these if you want to.

I'm going to call the install a one out of three wrenches in the difficulty meter and

of course, we'll go ahead and show you how they're installed now.

For this install, we use a quarter-inch drive ratchet with an 8-millimeter socket, the clear

super silicone sealant that's provided, as well as the provided alcohol prep pad and

adhesion promoter.

All right, guys, so for the first step of our install, what we're gonna do is we're

going to take our brackets.

There are eight brackets.

They have these little nuts on them and if you can't get them off, just so you know,

they are an 8-millimeter so you might need a socket just to help get them unscrewed.

What we're going to do is we're going to place the brackets around the louvers, so we're

going to flip the louvers upside down.

Make sure you have them sitting on a nice surface so you don't want to scratch them

at all.

So what we're gonna do is we're going to go ahead, install our first bracket, and then

we will hand tighten the nut back on the other side.

We're not going to tighten these all the way down yet and you'll see why.

We're going to be removing them once we get them on the car.

I'm going to set the bracket in place and just hand tighten the nut down.

There are washers on here too so just be aware of that.

So just keep in mind that you want to be installing your brackets so that they stay behind the

louver.

You don't want to install your bracket this way because basically, this is going to be

over the edge of your louver once you have it installed.

So we want to make sure that we're installing them so they stay behind the louver.

We're going to install the bracket this way.

We don't want to install it this way because you'll be able to see it through the louver

so we'll flip it.

Once again, make sure that it stays hidden behind the louver.

So our next step is going to be to take the supplied alcohol prep pads and what we're

going to do is we're going to open it up and then we're going to go around the outside

of the window where the 3M will be on the back of our brackets.

We're just prepping the window so that the 3M can make as best of a contact as possible.

So you want to make sure that this is clean.

If your window is really dirty, you can always wash it with warm soap and water just to get

any debris off.

You also probably want to run over it anyway, because once you install your louvers, you

will have to uninstall them in order to clean your window.

After you're done with this, you'll do the same thing with the adhesion promoter that's

provided for you.

With our window prepped, we're going to peel the backing off the 3M tape on the brackets

now.

Once you peel the backing off and reveal the adhesive side, you guys can also use adhesion

promoter right here on the brackets if you want to.

And when you go to actually lay this on the car, it might be easiest just to have a second

set of hands to help you lay it out evenly.

You do want to have about 8 to 10 millimeters of space on either side of the louvers when

you install them on the car.

You also want to make sure that all of your brackets are straight as well.

All right, so you're going to want to sit this on the glass and what you're doing is

lining up the top and bottom.

Like I said, you're going to have about 8 to 10 millimeters on either side.

You just want to make sure that the top and bottom are lined up as close as possible.

All right, so from here what you're going to want to do is you're gonna want to press

down on anywhere that the brackets are because you want to make sure that the 3M makes some

good contact on the window.

And the other thing to keep in mind too is that once you install these, you're not going

to want to wash your car, you're not going to want to take it through a car wash.

You're going to want to allow this 3M time to cure because that's what's holding these

onto your rear window.

All right, guys, for the next step of the install, what you're going to want to do is

remove all of the nuts on the brackets, and then you'll pull the louver off of the car.

From there, you're going to take the supplied silicone sealant and you're going to seal

all of the brackets, all eight of the brackets that are on your window.

It's going to skin over to about 20 to 30 minutes, but it's not really going to cure

for 24 hours.

So you're going to want to let sit for 24 hours.

Like I said, no water, no motion, just let this cure and hold the brackets to your window.

After the 24-hour period has passed, you'll lower the louvers back down over the brackets,

and then tighten down the nuts.

Now we aren't going to seal our brackets on to the window because we do want to take the

louvers off of this car, but I just wanted you guys to know that there is an additional

step in the install there.

So what I'm going to do now is show you the last step of the install.

I'm going to take an 8-millimeter socket on a quarter-inch ratchet, and I'm going to tighten

all of these down.

You don't want to overtighten these because you don't want to crack anything.

You just want to snug them up a little bit.

All right, guys, that's going to wrap up this review and install.
