Python Turtle Graphics - Pattern 4 | Drawing Heart Shape - Duration: 10:39.
Hello guys Welcome to Python programming tutorials by Amuls Academy.
and today in this tutorial we are discussing about the heart pattern, so we want to draw
heart pattern using turtle module, so this is the last video on this turtle concept we
discussed about few Basic concept as well as few patterns and i will end this concept
with this last pattern.
So we want to draw this heart shape, so for this first thing is in the Python file we
need to import the turtle module and we need to create a turtle object right?.
So in the Python file first i will import the turtle module, next i will create the
turtle object you can give any name to turtle, i will give "t" from the Turtle class
alright?, so now if i save this and run this here we can see the turtle it is present here
in the home position ok. so in my program this will be the home position
of the turtle ok we want to draw this heart shape like this, so i will divide this pattern
into 4 parts ok the first part is this, we will draw this line ok this part, 2nd part
is this we will draw this curve and the third part is this we will draw this curve ok and
the last part is this line ok we can see four different colors so we can see the four parts
right?, so initially turtle will be in the home position so i want to draw this line
that is the portion which is covered in green color ok so for this what i will do is, first
thing is i need to change the angle of the turtle ok initially it is present in the home
position and it is pointing towards this direction ok i want to change that to this direction.
so for that i will use the left method and I'll take the Angle as 140 degree, so here
i will take "t dot left" and i will take angle as 140 degree.
so if you ask how i know the angle is 140 degree, that is because i tried this angle
you can vary this angle little bit you will get the proper shape, here this is the home
position it was pointing towards like this i want to change it to this side Ok, so for
that i used left 140 degree.
Here i am assuming the angle from here to here it is 140 degree here i am taking this
angle is 140 degree ok so here i took t dot left 140 degree.
if i show you the output here we can see it is pointing towards this direction now ok
so now i want to draw the line, so this line ok so for that i used forward method ok, i'll
use t dot forward and i'll take the distance as 180, you can vary this distance ok.
The length of the line is your choice here i will take 180 pixel so now if i save this
and run this, here we can see, it will draw this line now
ok so next done with the first part that is this line.
Now we need to move to the next part that is this part the part which is covered in
the yellow color so we can see the curve right?, to draw this curve, for this i will use the
circle method.
Look at this, this look like a semicircle right?, so here i will use circle method using
circle method we can draw semicircle right?, so t dot circle i need to mention the radius
ok, the first thing is here i need to take the radius as negative because i want to draw
the circle in the clockwise direction ok you can take the positive value and you can see
but here i want to draw the circle in the clockwise direction so i need to take negative
value and i will take radius as 90 because here we can see i took the distance as 180,
if you take forward distance as 180 then you need to take the radius of circle as half
of that distance 90, if you take 160 here you need to take 80, if you take 140 here
you need to take 70 ok. so next we don't want to draw the entire circle
right?, we want half circle so here i need to mention the angle, if i mention 180 degree
it will draw the semicircle ok but here i don't want semicircle i want more than that,
so I'll show you.
If i draw like this ok it will stop here itself because it is drawing from here ok i want
till here ok so what i will do is instead of 180 degree here i will take 200 degree.
so if you ask how you know it is 200 degree?, this is like a trial and error method ok.
First while drawing i took 180 degree, it is not coming properly so i change the angle
i tried 190 degree 200 degree.
For 200 degree it is giving the proper shape ok that's why here i am taking 200°.
Do experiment with this guys change this angles and distance and you can try ok.
so now if i save this and run this here we can see ok so this much is enough right?,
we got the half heart now we need to complete this ok.
Next we want to draw the third part ok the part which is covered in the sky blue color,
so this is also semicircle right?, i want to draw the semicircle but here the we can
see the angle of the turtle it is pointing towards this side now ok i want to change
that, so for that you need to take here left 120 degree.
ok so if you are confused with left and right ok how to take this angle then if you are
confused instead of this left I'll comment this ok so it won't execute, instead of this
line we can take set heading also right?, so here set heading you need to take 60 degree.
If i take like this in this set heading, this is 0 or 360 degree this will be 90 degree,
this will be 180 degrees, this will be ok here we can see i want to set like this ok
that means like this ok so for this i will take this angle as 60 degree.
this is also one of the trial and error method ok i tried first 45 degree is not coming properly,
so i took 60 ok so it will give the proper shape or you can take left 120 degree ok.
Now again i want to draw the circle ok, the radius is same here this also same ok if i
save this and run this,
ok so now we are left with the last part that is this line, the part covered in the pink
color, so for that i will use t dot forward the same distance, what is that we took 180
, 180 pixel right?, so here ok so, We are done with the 4 part and we are getting
heart shape.
Right?, so here instead of using the circle method you can define the function using for
loop also ok, using for loop forward and right or left angle you can do that, but i think
this is the easiest way.
so now our output is looking so boring right?, no color nothing so we will fill the color
now.
So for that first here i will change the turtle color ok by default it is black, i want to
change it to red , so next i will start filing the color, begin fill , t.fillcolor, i will
fill red color and atlast t.end fill stop filling.
Ok. so if you want you can this hide turtle also,
t dot hideturtle and you can hide that turtle also.
this is looking nice right?.
so if you want to add more to this then you can add a title ok so you can use turtle dot
title, can add "Heart Shape" .
Ok so next here , we can change the screen background color also right?, for that i will
create an object from the Screen class, so turtle dot Screen , i explained about this
right?, screen dot bgcolor, i will take background color as black, ok so if i save this and run
this now, Here we can see heart shape, spelling mistake
is there ok so done .
and that hide turtle, t dot hideturtle, i don't want to see the turtle ok,
ok so in this way we can draw the heart shape
using turtle module, so that's it for now guys thank you for watching don't forget to

And obviously I would also constitute a different financial system in Europe.
So yes I think I'm precisely advocating Europe as a republic...
...because I hope that those who are not benefiting from the current EU...
...would benefit from Europe as a republic.
We need to rethink European democracy, I think, from scratch.
And rethinking European democracy would mean that we concentrate on the citizens.
On the representation of the citizens in a different...
...parliamentarian set up of Europe.
There's one thing to redefine European democracy.
It is that the citizens of Europe agree to be equal in front of the law.
So to enter on an equal legal space into a political body.
And that is the difference to today's Europe where the equal legal space...
...is basically for industries and for markets, a single market and so...
...but not for citizens because we are not equal in front of the law with respect...
...to taxation and social, and so on.
The European Republic might be the better name for the new European project...
...which is basically ending the one we have.
We have one market, one currency. We now need to build one democracy.
To make it even more simple...
...we have one euro, one IBAN-number.
We should have one text number for all citizens and then we can have...
...a European democracy on an equal footing as European citizens.
Independently of the fact whether you are Dutch that I am German.
Everybody has an understanding of what The Republic is.
It's not an abstract thing like the United States of Europe...
...and the states somewhere, like an UFO or Europa as something far away.
It's not a single market which has no emotional attraction.
But everybody understands a republic, because the republic is Res Publica...
...it is Commonwealth.
It is the organization of the Commonwealth of the European citizens...
...and how we organize to share this.
Nation states are always a sort of artifact of mankind in a given period of time.
There's no biological ontology of nation states.
We know them as they are today.
But we all come from different histories.
We need to understand that the nation-state formation of the last century...
...was a political momentum which we made as citizens, because by then we wanted unity.
And so what a nation-state is, is always a definition.
Like we once had Czechoslovakia and now we have Czech Republic and Slovania Republic.
So it's changing and so I think out of that...
...we could make a unitarian momentum and say...
...look we go into its historical process...
...where we basically merge the nations of today into a European republic...
...as much as the Germans we were saxonians and Bavarians.
And so we merged into a bundesrepublik.
What's today utopia is tomorrow reality.
Let's face that the EU of today was once upon a time a utopia...
...before Walter Hallstein and Germone and all these people of the first European project...
...just did it, wrote it down, made treaties out of it...
...and we are now living in these treaties.
So nothing holds us back to say: okay there's a good nice idea...
...we write this down, we make a treaty out of it...
...and then we are in the European republic over time.

Hi everyone!
If you're new my name is Eevee and everyone else welcome back to my channel: EeeveeEmmy
As you can tell from the title of today's video is going to be a haul.
Some of these things I got a little while ago and some of these things I've got more recently.
I've got some toys and video games. Kind of standard for me cause is it's pretty much all I care about.
Let's have a look at what we've got and I'm super excited about
Being able to open up some of these things now that I've shared them with you. So let's get to it.
All right we're gonna start with Toy Story and Toy Story Aliens cause if you know me you know I have a bit
of a problem with Toy Story and Toy Story Aliens. I got these two little goodies.
I have like one of these sticky aliens that also came with a ship but this one was only like two dollars
for just another sticky alien and they also come with like these disc things.
I kind of wanted it just to keep in this box,
this packet like this. Same with the other one that's up on my shelf like this.
Some of the Toy Story things I'm gonna be collecting I'm gonna be keeping in their boxes
because I think the packaging of Toy Story things just looks
amazing like it looks really really cute.
I just I just like it.
The second toy story thing is this little cutie car.
My friend Maeve let me know that it existed. This one I got from Big W recently.
So I'm pretty sure they still have them. There's like all different
kinds of ones you can get. This is the one I got of course and then there's
Woody with RC and then Buzz Light Year with kind of like his rocket ship but like a car, and then Woody with the train.
But of course I got the Alien with the little Pizza Planet car.
I'm still undecided whether or not I want to take this one out of the packet or not
I do have my as I call it "Toy Story Aliens shrine" on the cubes behind me.
But I just love this cutie so much.
I'm so excited to have this one in my collection and I think I want to get the
Woody with RC one, I really really like that one. Like out of these two.
I might even go back and get another one of these, so I can have one out and then one in the box.
Super cute.
Next up I have a Pixel Pal.
I got a Goofy Kingdom Hearts one. I didn't think these were gonna be released in Australia in all honesty.
We have been getting more and more Pixel Pals but it's kind of like Funko Pops
Some of them come here some of them don't. I'm super excited to have this one. If you don't know Kingdom Hearts is
like my favorite. Drawn with Pokemon video game series. So those two are my favourites.
I absolutely love Goofy in and out of the Kingdom Hearts realm. I'm a big fan of Goofy and his son Max.
So I was really excited to see this one out in the wild.
and get this one. So yeah I got this one at Big W but I think
I've also seen it at EB Games. But I'm super excited about this.
Next up I have these Super Mario stickers. They're like the decals to put on laptops and stuff like that
Apparently in this one there's like 97 stickers.
I actually picked it up in Kmart. I have seen it in other stores like EB Games and stuff like that.
But in Kmart it was only $3.
Considering that all I want is to use on my Mac are Princess Peach, maybe star and maybe Luigi
because they are my favorites. Because I don't think there's gonna be like any
Waluigi in here. Which is upsetting. I would really love some waluigi.
There's a loud dog.
Hello, puppy.
Yeah, I'm super excited I got these for only $3 because I think else where they were $10 almost.
Which is really expensive. Also keep in mind all the dollar prices I say are Australian dollars.
You can figure out the conversion.
Next up we have these little Toothless figures. I love How to Train Your Dragon.
I believe I actually have this figure already but I wanted to get another one because I don't know where it is.
I have so many little toys and figures that I can't keep track of all of them all the time.
But these are absolutely adorable. I got them at Toy Kingdom or Toy World. That's also where I got the little sticky Alien.
So these were only $2 each.
So I got like the little growling toothless, the little prowling toothless and then the little kind of curious one.
I believe you can turn their heads and then some parts of their body slightly.
Like I think he might be able to move
their legs or anything. I don't know how much you'll be able to move this one because
I don't know the body is more rigid if that make sense so it might clash with things.
I'm super excited to have more How to Train Your Dragon things. I do have a Toothless that's is bigger than this shot.
and I love him very much and I'm very excited for the new How to Train Your Dragon movie.
Next up I have a random toy that I usually don't buy things that aren't from a franchise a thing that I absolutely love
so if it's not like Disney or video game related or whatever,
or other cartoons that I really love I generally don't buy it but when I saw
this little cute pig I had to have it!
It's a squeezamals. I also got a narwhal but I know when my narwhal is at the moment
I absolutely love this little cutie. Does it have a name? Her name is Penelope pig and there's
all little other characters I think they're up to like a second series now.
I really want to find my narwhal because the narwhal is just gorgeous but it's one of those squishies.
*whispers* and it comes back up.
I love squishies but I hate the residue smell that they leave like they have that weird chemically smelly
and I can't have the scented ones because they make me sneeze
But this is great because this one's soft enough that it doesn't hurt my wrists like a lot to squeeze it
So I think this one's like really cute on that aspect and you can lightly poke it and it still does it which I
absolutely love and I love little pigs.
I don't think they have a cow because if they did that would be like my favorite thing ever.
I do really want to get
there's like Sophia sheep, I need to find my narwhal, I want a cat and
There's like a little penguin. I really want the penguin because penguins are s cute.
If they make a seal that would be my ultimate.
Next up I went to Typo on Sunday
and I got two little Mickey Mouse things. I got a little Mickey Mouse pin and then this really cute floating necklace.
They do like different - it's like a stationary and like just like a journal store but then they also do
collaborations with different brands and stuff and they branched out to do like
pins and now I think they even do bath bombs and stuff. They have the most random stuff sometimes
But they do like cushions, homewares, mugs and that kind of stuff now
But I love their Disney collections. So this collection at the moment is 50% off but I just
had to get them. This is very loud on the paper but I can't wait to take it off. The little star just has the
Disney like insignia on it it's just a gold chain at the back and then this little
Mickey pins cute. I don't like this clasp but I have so many pin backings now that it doesn't really matter.
They're pretty cute
Alright the part some of you were waiting for.
I got some video games. So we'll start off with Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.
I got this of course a couple of weeks ago it came out just before Pokemon
I was streaming it but I don't think I'm gonna stream it anymore.
I really really like the up do with the graphics and stuff but unless
something's changed they've kind of said that they're not gonna put closed captions in it and
I have a little bit of trouble hearing some things, especially deep voices and
with the comical like really really deep voices of some of these dragons I can't really hear it so I can't
stream it because I can't tell what they're saying, so any of the helpful hints or anything I'm just kind of going in
having no idea what they're telling me or anything. So I will probably play it a little bit
elsewhere but I'm kind of a little bit disappointed with that. It's a beautiful game and beautiful upgrade from the original games
which is great but I'm a little bit sad about that. But let's get onto something more fun.
The other PlayStation 4 game we got was Spider-Man. Joel of course played this at PAX, Australia
which it looks really good I was
very very out of it at PAX so I didn't really absorb much of what was going on other than what's in my vlogs
So I'm I'm pretty excited that we have this. Joel was playing a bit of it last night
and it looks amazing and I'm actually gonna play some of it today so I'm really excited about that.
We actually saw Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse last weekend we went to an advanced screening and
Love it! Loved it so much. There is a post credit scene of that movie
and it is worth the wait. It is great. It is one of my favourite post credit scenes to date.
Alright we know I got Let's Go Eevee, we already know that. I did a video on that. It is great
however the control issues have just gotten worse. That update happened, they did a controller update and it's just made everything absolutely worse.
I'm really really upset about it but I continue to play the game anyway.
But the whole the whole controller thing is just ridiculous and I hope it gets fixed
soon because I'm sick of it just doing it's own thing. So I'm a little bit annoyed with that but other than that
absolutely beautiful game. Like this and
Breath of the Wild are probably my favourite Nintendo Switch games.
I really love playing Stardew Valley on the Switch as well but I don't consider it one of my favourite
Switch games because I originally played it on PC when it came out in what 2016 was it? Something like that.
That's also really good. But this is so fun, so relaxing, and then of course I picked up the Pikachu version, yay!
I also have the Pokeball Plus. That is still going really well, still highly recommend those. They are expensive but if you're gonna use it
to its full potential it is worth it.
I also got Let's Go Pikachu. Same deal as Eevee. Super cute, really fun it's the exact same game
except you have a Pikachu, cool? Yeah.
Then the last thing that I've gotten recently that I can remember
I know we've gotten more stuff. But, however, regardless of that the last thing that I have got to show you
all today is Smash.
I really really love this one. I still have not unlocked all the characters yet. I'm working on it don't worry about it.
But my eyesight is now so bad that I can only play in handheld mode
now Joel and I only got one copy of this because sometimes we get copies each of games so we both have a
copy of Mario Kart each, Arms, Mario Party.
But Joel reckons he'll never play this on his own.
But I can't play it on the TV.
We tried streaming it and I couldn't see anything that was going on, it was too much I need it on the Switch
right in front of my face to be able to play it. But other than that it's really fun, really good.
I have been playing Inkling as much as I can and I'm really really enjoying that so
yeah I think that that's everything I've gotten recently that I can remember.
Other than you know clothes and probably other video games and stuff but these are the things
I have to show you all today.
