SITTING IN THE BACK OF THE CAB

LISTEN TO HITS FROM THE PAST

MEMORIES SLOWLY AROUSE

LOOKING AT PICTURES FROM THE PAST

WANT TO REMEMBER WHAT WE HAD

HAVEN'T FOUND ANYONE LIKE YOU

I'M TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT

BUT MY MIND IS FILLED WITH DOUBT

WHEN YOU'RE NOT HERE BY MY SIDE

I CAN'T

How To Write A Good Song In 3 Steps | Music Artist Tips - Duration: 10:40.

music artists and entrepreneurs what's good Mike Sarge here from MikeSarge.com and

listen if you're not a fan of the Rugrats I really don't care you already

know who I'm rocking with listen you can drop you can stop watching this video

right now oh my bad my bad look literally I'm buggin I get it I'm buggin

I need to bring down my attitude I need to bring down the energy alright I

ain't trying to have no smoke with nobody I love all of ya'll oh I just had to show

you how that I'm a real one you fill me now listen today I want to talk to you

guys give you some tips on how to make really good songs how to make your next

amazing song so that people keep listening to your stuff over and over

and over again so as always you don't want to miss this one so go ahead and

hit that subscribe button and let's work Salutes To That. it alright so let me say this

from the jump before we even really get started alright songwriting look there

is a bit of trial and error when it comes to it alright so if you're

watching this video expecting to be a Grammy nominated songwriter right off

the joke right off the cuff you might want to slow down alright songwriting is

not something that is that you become better at overnight it is a skill and

similar to like muscle memory you have to do it over and over and over again

it's something that if you continue to work at it you will become better at it

and if there's something that you begin to slack at it's gonna feel like going

to the gym after six months are you not working out you're gonna feel mad

sluggish and mad unprepared alright so today I'm gonna be giving you

guys three tips three tips on how you can improve your songwriting so you can

make really really good songs that people are gonna keep listening to and

keep putting on repeat of course that's what you want you guys ready to go let's

get it so let's get into the breakdown of a song really fast

you have your verses generally there one two three maybe even sometimes four if

there's a feature on it you have your hook slash your course then you have

your production which would be your beat and then you have your topic now for

those of you that struggle with coming up with good topics to write about don't

worry about it check the link in the description of this video and I

free download for you where I give you 50 plus topics that you can do content

on yeah I got you again it's a free download check the link in the

description alright so tip number one on how you can

improve your songs how to make really good songs is the hook needs to be

catchy the hook needs to be catchy and it needs to be memorable so I started

this one off as number one because I feel like this is super important if you

are a music artist regardless of what genre you're in this is super super

important now why I'm gonna give you two reasons two reasons why this is super

important the number one reason is because most listeners are gonna

remember your hook and your course way faster than they'll ever remember your

verses matter of fact if you go down the list of all-time greats

even your list of all-time greats whether it's you know Michael Jackson

Prince the Beatles Drake whoever it is right and you go to those songs that you

loved you specifically love most of the ones on your say top 5 list they have

hooks that's you absolutely adore matter of fact for most of those songs you

probably remember the hook way better than you remember the verses you're

probably one of those people in your car but you're just riding out and you're

like yeah yeah and you're saying the hook and you're good and then it gets to

the verses then you kind of like you know certain parts of the verse but then

you mumbled or the other half when you're in your car and you think you

really know it and so you have to quote it at a karaoke and I actually look I'm

not trying to expose myself I'm just saying hooks just do that to people they

bring out an emotion from people matter of fact let me give you another example

of this

you

you see the difference hooks bring an emotion out of you

they bring a certain vibe to the table that people love to connect with the

other reason why the hook needs to be catchy and memorable is because the hook

brings together the whole song let me put it this way the verses explain your

perspective on the topic but the hook confirms the topic that you're actually

talking about now I want you to do a little bit of homework and I want you to

pay attention to how people within your Jabra are doing hooks I mean listen are

they are they serious hooks are they more funny hooks what rhyme scheme are

they using are they using a bee a bee are they using more like a a a BB rhyme

scheme pay attention be sure to study what's going on in your

genre and as another side tip don't focus completely on the words themselves

focus on the way that they say focus on the melodies in which they in which the

way the words are said okay tip number two today on songwriting how to write

better songs is the versus needs who explained your thoughts alright so I

know this point sounds a little broad so I'm gonna dive in a little bit deeper so

it makes a little bit more sense so let's let's give an example say I want

to do a song about my dog right well that means my verses need to connect

with my audience with how I view my dogs okay well first I need to figure out

what exactly about my dog do I want to talk about if my song is gonna have

three verses then maybe my three verses can be about my top three memories of my

dog so verse one could be about the adoption of my dog verse two could be

about funny times that we had in the house and then first three can be about

how I feel like there's no way I can live my life without my dog without my

puppy and those are three verses right off the bat in which it is connected my

verses are connected to my thoughts just like this example it's the same thing

with any other topic any other topic so for example if you wanted to do a topic

on family alright first you need to figure out okay what about family

alright are you talking about a certain family member are you talking about

memories of family are you talking about the loss of a family you talking about

good time bad times things you've learned from

family beasts very specific and then once you're specific then it's easier to

break down your verses and figure out okay this verse I want to talk about

this side this verse I want to talk about this side and as we said before

make sure that your hook brings it all together but your verse does explained

your thoughts and how you feel about said topic one thing I will also say

when it comes to your verses don't be super generic and broad when I listen to

your verses they should be an image in my head your audience your listeners

should have an image in your head but if I go put it this way when I hear your

song and when I hear your verses it should be like a movie in my mind I

should be able to hear your words and picture everything that you're saying

now granted it's my movie in my head but it should bring images in which I feel

like I'm the main character of this movie all right and last and final tip

for the day on how you can write better songs as listen be personal but don't

take it personal all right so a lot of artists rappers singers bands a lot of

us take it so personal when it comes to feedback when it comes to our music and

our songwriting why the truth is the reason why is because it allows us to

share our heart music allows us to share our heart and it's a release for us it's

therapeutic for what we go through and what we see on a regular basis music

allows us to explain ourselves in a way that only we know how to and if anything

music is our baby it is our baby and we want to protect it all cost

and that's why generally so many of us are so protective and at times super

super sensitive when it comes to our songwriting when it comes to our music

and because we feel this way so often so often music artists we take feedback in

and we take it as a personal attack on our story or our perspective when it

comes to our music and because of this oftentimes we fear writing what's really

on our mind and we don't write exactly how we're feeling in our lyrics because

we fear what other people are gonna think about us what they're gonna think

about our music how they think about our a star things that we've been through

our current struggles or our situations that actually happen to us we fear

allowing the world to look at it because we're thinking oh my goodness they're

gonna think this is terrible Oh are they gonna judge me

in order to pursue greatness in order to do what you love you have to expose

yourself a little bit you have to let people see who you are don't be afraid

step out anyway the people that are going through similar things that you've

gone through they're gonna they're not gonna judge you they're gonna connect

with you they're gonna want to listen to more of your story they're gonna they're

gonna want to see more of your posts on social media they're gonna be one

they're gonna want to be more involved in what you're doing excusing so don't

fear that don't fear other people why are you worried about other people first

of all you didn't start doing music because of other people anyway so why

are you allowing them to stop you from doing what you love

put your true feelings out there put your true feelings out there as long as

you not you know bashing someone individually as long as you ain't

calling out people and stuff like that look again music is our release music is

therapeutic for us so why are you allowing other people that probably

don't even care about you why are you allowing them to prevent you from taking

your medicines think about that so keep pushing keep pushing keep moving you got

this akin just pursue greatness and what do you think did you like this video if

so go ahead and hit that like button there hit that subscribe button so you

get notified every time I drop a new video also if there's a particular topic

that you want me to talk about go down to the comment section leave a comment I

do read my comments and I will add your topic suggestion to the list also don't

forget if you are struggling with coming up with good topics for your songs there

is a free download in the description of this video so go ahead and check that

out and as always be you enjoy your life live off thinning salutes to that catch

y'all later

Small Publishers I Love || Vlogmas Day 18 || Always Doing - Duration: 7:59.

Hey there, Kazen here, and welcome back to Always Doing.

[♪♪]

Today I'm going to tell

you about four small publishers that I love. The big presses get all of the

attention and the marketing dollars, but the small presses are putting some

really incredible work out there that I want to introduce to you guys. There are

four and they're all quite different from each other. One is a translation

press that does exclusively literature in translation. One does a

little bit of everything. One is an LGBTQIA+ press, and one is the

one I'm looking to get into, that I haven't read anything from yet but is

on my radar that is a fusion... it... it's... uh...

just watch.

So for each publisher I'm just going to give you a few quick titles that either

I've read or I'm interested in. And these won't be full reviews, just something to

get you interested. There may be full reviews of these books further down the

line, in other review videos and things, but I'm rambling.

[exhales]

First is one of my

first indie press loves. It's Deep Vellum Publishing. They're based in Dallas in

the Deep Ellum neighborhood, so you can see where they got the

name, and they publish literature in translation. And what I love about their

list is that it's a completely wide, diverse range of everything. They don't

get stuck in one language, they don't get stuck even in one region of the world.

They publish Korean authors, and Mexican authors, and South American authors, and

Moroccan authors, and authors from the Middle East, and just a little bit of

everything. I get the feeling that that diversity is a point of pride for them.

And at least half of their authors are women. And once you throw in the

translators, I'm pretty sure at least half of the translators are women as well.

Deep Vellum published Seeing Red by Lina Meruane, translated by Meghan

McDowell. It's a semi-autobiographical novel, which is a weird space, I know, but

it's about a woman that moves from South America to New York. And she has a

medical condition where she knows that she can go blind at any time and she does.

And it's in a curtain of red, that's the last thing she sees. And it's

about her experiences with that. And just, the way it's written gripped me. It was just,

oh, it's stuck with me. Incredibly. Another book they published is Banthology:

Stories from Banned Nations. It's an anthology of short stories that was

commissioned after the so-called Muslim ban in the United States and there's one

story for each country affected. And it deals with the themes of displacement

and migration, and all of that stuff in each story.

As with any anthology I liked some stories better than others, but the

themes and the thoughts and the, just everything behind it has also stuck with me.

The second publisher is Nine Star Press. It is an LGBTQIA owned and managed

publishing house. They publish mostly romance and it's mostly non-heterosexual

pairings. There's trans protagonists, non-binary, and along with your f/f, m/m, and

every other combination and menage included in that. There's a wide range

not only in that sense but in in the stories. Like, there are some where

there's explicit sex, and there are some where there is barely any kissing, and

everything in between. The great thing is if you go on their

website and if you go to any book's individual page at the bottom there's a

whole list, and you can look up anything you might be interested in, whether it's

what the pairing is, or if the characters are cisgender or queer gender,

or any content warnings. Like, if you want to avoid violence or character death or

some other things they will let you know down at the bottom, so you know what you're

getting into. My favorite book that I've read, by far, from Nine Star is Coffee Boy by

Austin Chant. Chant is a trans author and he writes a story of a trans character

who is getting into the workplace and having to deal with people who aren't

used to working with a trans person and what that involves. And of course he

♪ finds some love ♪. So yeah, it's... [sigh]

I love Austin Chant. Austin Chant is wonderful.

Another book I like by them is To Seek and to Find by Tamryn Eradani. In the

genre of BDSM romance it seems like there's always a tendency to go to the

extreme. You know, very difficult bondage, or, you know, people being

suspended, or just really, the out there edges of things. And what I love about

this book - which is about two male characters who meet at a club and start

having a, I wanna say temporary relationship while they figure out if this is

something they want to continue. And this is a series so it goes on from here with

the same pairing - is that one of the characters, I think it's Kyle, is into

bondage but it is the most sedate bondage I've ever seen in a book. Like, he's just

lying down on a flat surface and there's some rope being wrapped around his torso.

And that's it. Like, *it's very light, but seeing how that affects him,

and what that means for him, and the emotional connection he has with the

person who is doing the rope work, that was something I'd never seen before and

I really liked watching that and the relationship and its progression.

Another thing I like about Nine Star is that a bunch of the authors are own voices.

So that's always a plus. The next press is one that I just found

recently and they've been around for a while though. It's Soft Skull Press and

their logo is an ant, I love it. Even when they send out stuff, apparently the tape that

they put over as ants crawling all over it. I just think it's great. Anyway.

They're based in New York City and they publish a little bit of everything.

So from their website it says, "books that engage art, culture, and current events in

new and radical ways. We publish every genre." So - cool. The book that introduced

me to them was the recent release The Lonesome Bodybuilder by Motoya Yukiko,

translated by Asa Yoneda. I'll link to a couple of videos where I talk about this

book. I really liked it and it's been getting some end of year buzz, which I am

very happy for. I have a bunch of their books on my TBR, though. There's an

upcoming release called Mohammad: Forty Introductions by, I think it's Michael

Mohammad Knight. And I've been looking forward to that one. And some of their

past releases that are on my TBR radar are The Amputee's Guide to Sex by Jillian

Weise. That's a poetry collection that's own voices, which is about what it says

in the title. The other book that I've been looking forward to for awhile is

Tower Dog by Douglas Scott Delaney. It talks about, I think they're called linesmen,

the people who go up the high-tension power lines in order to do repairs and things. And

and it is a very dangerous job that can be deadly, and he talks about his

experience doing that. And the last publisher I want to talk to you about is

Bellevue Literary Press. And I haven't read anything from them yet but they

have been on my radar, and I need to get to it. Again, from their website it says,

they are "devoted to publishing literary fiction and nonfiction at the

intersection of arts and sciences because we believe that science and

humanities are natural companions for understanding the human experience."

Which I'm for. You guys probably know by now I'm a medical interpreter and this is

definitely my sort of thing. And they have a lot of books that look

interesting. Right now I have my eye on Understories by Tim Horvath and Keep Out

of Reach of Children: Reye's Syndrome, Aspirin, and the Politics

of Public Health by Mark A. Largent. The one disappointment for me is that it was

harder to find women authors in their catalog than men. So there we have it, four

small publishers that I like. Well, three that I like and one that I'm

pretty sure I'm really gonna like. There's so many great small and indie

publishers out there that I can't get to all of them in just one video, but what

are some of your favorites? Let me know down in the comments below. Thank you for

watching, subscribe if you're new, and I'll see you in the next video. Bye!

[♪♪] Thanks for watching!

Update on the bite on my hand - it's healing up! Thanks to everyone who has asked after it.

My skin isn't happy with the constant band aids, though, so I'm finding all kinds of weird angles for them 😂

Online Security Tips for Small Businesses - Duration: 6:22.

Let's talk about your business's online security.

This is important to you because you will be held liable if your network is compromised

and data is seized.

Hi my name is Paul Chrisco, I'm with 24x7 Protect IT.

We Help Small Business, Do Business; Securely.

Here's a free email tips for you so that you don't get hacked.

If you receive an email and you even know who the sender is but it looks suspicious

to you don't open it, don't click it, don't click the links inside the email,

call that person, make sure that they did send you that email.

It is very possible that their email server has been compromised and they indeed did not

send that even though it comes from their email server.

If you receive and email from an unknown sender, asking you for some type of action – a lot

of times you'll notice that they'll use fear that's not by accident but by design.

They use fear to motivate you to do an action that will rob you of your common sense.

Office365 is an amazing technology these days.

Exchange server has been empowering business's communication for 20 something years.

Office365 Exchange now lets a micro/small business of just one person leverage this

amazing technology.

However, exchange server needs to be protected from the internet.

We recommend a third-party filtering service that sets between the internet and your email

server.

Your email server should communicate with this third-party spam filter.

This prevents the server from being exposed to the internet and to the hackers directly.

This is a critical component to using the Office365 Exchange.

We proudly use Reflexion email spam filter, it's a cloud solution and it offers virus

filtering, spam filtering, phishing filtering and also lets you manage and control your

white and black listing.

This is important because if there are people that are accidentally getting blocked by your

spam filter you can whitelist them and they'll never be blocked again.

Moreover, if you have an email that is spamming you – you can blacklist is and you'll

never see that email come through again.

It is important that you take the time to have written policies and procedures, teaching

your employees how to use technology securely.

The most common practice that we're seeing these days is the hacking of people.

It's much easier to hack a person by using things like fear and intimidation and invoking

an emotional response to that person that would not be the normal reaction, this thereby

robs that person common sense and we're seeing this on the rise right now.

The most common that we do see is with the web browser hack.

The way that those happen is that the web server gets compromised and hacked due to

low security on that website, these hackers and criminals inject malicious codes to that

website.

An unsuspecting visitor going to a legitimate website thereby executes these malicious codes

on their computer, now their computer has been compromised.

What we commonly see happens is what we called a Browser Hijacked at the end of this.

You'll get that webpage with a scary message and that lady screaming at you "better call

us (our number) right away or else all of your data files will be going to be deleted".

This is complete nonsense and it is a lie, it is to invoke an emotional response in you

to where you will call that number then give that person a remote access in your machine

and it is in that time that you get hacked.

Our clients have called us when this happens to them and we immediately remoted it, ceased

the attack, clean up their machine within minutes and they were back to doing their

jobs.

No damage was done, no files were compromised, their systems were left secure.

That's the value of having an outsourced IT company managing your small business's

IT(information technology).

It is important that you have pop up ads blocked on whatever web browser you used whether that's

internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

Firefox has some amazing plugins that handle ads and block them so you don't even see

these ads and thereby prevent you from accidentally clicking on an ad that will take you to a

malicious website.

You may have heard about Cloud Anti-Virus, truth be known Cloud Anti-Virus has been around

for about 30 years but the current Cloud Anti-Virus allows a small business not just a large corporate

enterprise to leverage this amazingly powerful technology.

The way that it works is each computer has what's called an End-point Agent / Anti-Virus

agent.

That Agent is what does the scans and has a virus definitions and… basically keeps

you protected but it talks to a central server that's managed by IT professionals that

know what these threats mean, how they impact you and what needs to be done to alleviate

the issue.

This is where the Cloud-AV comes in, that server sits in a cloud which is basically

in the internet, in a data center, somewhere secure to where it's being monitored and

it sends alarms.

By having these professionals watch over these systems, you are getting the industries'

best engineers watching over your small business technology.

This was unheard of 10 years ago, this type of power and access to engineers was only

available for fortune 500 hundred companies that can afford to hire a robust staff of

experienced and very talented and highly educated engineers.

Thank you for your time, my name is Paul Chrisco – I'm with 24x7 Protect IT where we Help

Small Businesses, Do Business; Securely.

Contact us today and we will help you develop your security procedures and best practices

for your company.

Thank you!

Smoked Tomato Passata - Duration: 5:32.

hello welcome rolls of cloth UK my name's Tom today we're going to be

smoking Tomatoes and then we're going to make up a starter

I'm just going to place them on skin side down and put them onto the

parchment paper just to stop them schemes from sticking and they should be

okay no this is more for the flesh than the skin anyway when we're taking the

skins off some in between I'll use two different varieties of tomato here you

just sit up got a bit of different depth in flavor

yeah what we're going to do is we're going to chop that in half straight

through the middle and we gonna let that cook outside on the baking trays with

the tomatoes and then you also keep the garlic inside their skins and they're

just going to roast on the same traces

well folks these Tomatoes indirect away from the heat

lift these out on me smoke up to about two hours and they're lovely and soft

the garlic

don't make the skis is just peel right off for no one

really really amazing just kind of roughly these we're just in half and

look too much of the juice escape moving into these onions

jouso and all the clumps

you know

The Gift of Awareness - Part 1 | Enjoying Everyday Life - Duration: 28:32.

ANNOUNCER: THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN MADE POSSIBLE

BY THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

[MUSIC]

JOYCE: WHAT I WANNA TALK TO YOU ABOUT TODAY IS SOMETHING

THAT'S BEEN ON MY HEART FOR MYSELF PERSONALLY FOR A FEW

MONTHS, AND I'VE STARTED PRAYING THIS ON A REGULAR BASIS,

AND THAT IS "THE GIFT OF AWARENESS."

NOW, THAT'S NOT AN OFFICIAL GIFT LISTED IN THE BIBLE, BUT I

BELIEVE THAT WE SPEND SO MUCH TIME BEING UNAWARE OF THINGS

THAT WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF, AND PROBABLY ARE VERY AWARE OF

THINGS THAT WE DON'T EVEN NEED TO PAY THAT MUCH ATTENTION TO.

AND I BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A REAL DEMONIC PUSH

FROM THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS TO KEEP PEOPLE

FROM BEING FOCUSED.

AND DO YOU KNOW, EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE SITTING HERE TODAY, IF

YOUR MIND LEAVES THIS MEETING, TO GO TO THE STORE, TO THINK

ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE GONNA EAT LATER OR ALL THE THINGS YOU

NEED TO DO LATER, FOR ALL INTENT AND PURPOSES, YOU'RE NOT HERE.

AND SO IT'S A CHALLENGE IN THE WORLD THAT WE LIVE IN

TODAY BECAUSE THERE'S SO MUCH COMING AT US.

I MEAN, IT'S JUST PHONES RINGING AND DINGS FOR EMAIL AND DINGS

FOR TEXT MESSAGES, AND IT'S JUST, YOU--I MEAN, EVEN RIDING

DOWN THE ROAD, THERE ARE SO MANY MESSAGES ON THE SIDE

OF THE ROAD, AND JUST SO MUCH STUFF COMING AT US,

THAT IT'S GETTING MORE AND MORE CHALLENGING TO KEEP OUR MINDS

ON ANYTHING FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME.

AND I KNOW EVEN JUST LIKE IN MY WORKOUT ROUTINE

THAT I DO WITH MY TRAINER, HE TELLS ME ALL THE TIME,

"FOCUS ON THE MUSCLE THAT YOU'RE WORKING."

HE CALLS IT, "PUT THE--PUT YOUR MIND IN THE MUSCLE."

AND OF COURSE, I HAVE A HARD TIME DOING THAT.

I'LL BE LIFTING WEIGHTS AND BE IN INDIA OR I'LL BE, YOU KNOW,

LIFTING WEIGHTS LAST WEEK AND HERE IN WINSTON-SALEM

OR, YOU KNOW, WHATEVER THE CASE MAY BE.

AND I'VE ASKED HIM TO TALK TO ME SOME ABOUT WHY THAT'S

SO IMPORTANT, AND HE SAID, "BECAUSE WHEN YOU PUT YOUR MIND

IN IT, THE MUSCLE ACTUALLY BEHAVES BETTER AND YOU GET

MORE VALUE OUT OF IT."

AND SO I THINK THAT WE NEED TO REALLY BEGIN TO PRAY

AND ASK GOD TO GIVE US WHAT I'M JUST GONNA CALL

THE GIFT OF AWARENESS.

THERE'S SO MANY THINGS EVEN GOING ON AROUND US ALL THE TIME,

THAT WE NEED TO BE AWARE OF.

AND WE'RE MISSING THINGS.

WE'RE MISSING THINGS THAT GOD'S DOING, WE'RE MISSING THINGS

THAT GOD WANTS US TO DO.

WE'RE MISSING A LOT OF BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE OUT THERE BECAUSE WE

JUST DON'T FOCUS ON WHAT WE SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON.

IS ANYBODY IN AGREEMENT WITH ME TODAY THAT WE NEED TO HAVE

A GREATER GIFT OF AWARENESS?

AND SO THAT'S WHAT WE'RE GONNA TALK ABOUT.

WE'RE GONNA TALK ABOUT IT IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT AREAS,

BUT FIRST, I WOULD LIKE TO TALK ABOUT BEING MORE AWARE,

AND THIS IS SOMETHING THAT'S REALLY IMPORTANT TO ME.

BEING MORE AWARE OF WHAT GOD IS DOING IN OUR LIVES.

AND I BELIEVE THAT GOD IS DOING THINGS ALL THE TIME THAT WE

JUST MISS AND DON'T EVEN SEE.

SOMETIMES, WE THINK WE'RE LUCKY, SOMETIMES WE THINK IT'S

JUST COINCIDENCE.

SOMETIMES WE DON'T THINK AT ALL.

BUT I BELIEVE THAT ONE OF THE THINGS THAT BRINGS US

INTO A CLOSER, MORE INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, IS IF WE

PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT HE'S DOING IN OUR LIVES AND WE MAKE

A BIGGER DEAL OUT OF IT THAN WHAT WE DO.

SO LET'S START IN 1 JOHN CHAPTER 4,

BEGINNING IN VERSE 16, AND I'M GONNA SHARE SOME THINGS

THAT HAPPENED TO ME MANY, MANY YEARS AGO

AS A RESULT OF THIS SCRIPTURE.

NOW, THESE SCRIPTURES ARE ABOUT LEARNING TO BE CONSCIOUS

OF GOD'S LOVE.

YOU SEE, NOTHING DOES YOU MUCH GOOD IF YOU'RE UNCONSCIOUS

OF IT.

THAT'S WHY THE BIBLE TEACHES US A LOT ABOUT MEDITATING

ON THINGS.

AND THAT JUST MEANS TO ROLL YOUR MIND OVER

AND OVER ON THINGS.

HOW AWESOME IS IT IF YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND YOU LAY

IN BED FOR JUST A FEW MINUTES AND YOU--YOU'RE CONSCIOUS

THAT GOD IS WATCHING YOU, THAT YOU'RE NOT ALONE,

THAT HE'S RIGHT THERE WITH YOU, THAT HE LOVES YOU, AND THAT HE

CAN NEVER LOVE YOU ANY MORE THAN HE DOES AT THIS MOMENT

RIGHT HERE?

BUT IF YOU DON'T THINK ABOUT THAT, IF YOU DON'T ROLL THAT

OVER AND OVER IN YOUR MIND, THEN FOR ALL INTENT AND PURPOSES,

IT'S LIKE IT'S NOT EVEN REALITY FOR YOU.

AND THESE ARE SOME OF THE HABITS THAT WE NEED TO DEVELOP

AS BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST IF WE REALLY WANT

THE WORD OF GOD TO BENEFIT US LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO.

MEDITATE ON THE WORD.

THINK ABOUT THE PROMISES OF GOD AND THINK ABOUT HOW BLESSED YOU

ARE, AND WHAT GOD HAS DONE BY SAVING YOU, AND THE MERCY

THAT HE SHOWS TO YOU EVERY DAY.

AND THE MORE YOU PONDER THESE THINGS, AND I'M NOT SAYING

YOU HAVE TO GO AROUND ALL DAY LONG JUST, YOU KNOW,

TRYING TO BE SOME SPIRITUAL GURU AND JUST SITTING AROUND,

YOU KNOW, MEDITATING ON THE WORD, YOU KNOW,

BUT WE NEED TO BE MORE AWARE OF WHAT WE HAVE IN CHRIST JESUS.

WELL, YOU KNOW, AS A YOUNG WOMAN STARTING OUT IN MINISTRY

30-SOME-ODD YEARS AGO, THIS WAS AFTER I HAD TAUGHT HOME

BIBLE STUDIES FOR FIVE YEARS.

I WAS NOW WORKING AT A CHURCH IN ST. LOUIS.

SO THIS WAS PROBABLY LIKE ABOUT 31 OR 32 YEARS AGO.

IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR ME, ALTHOUGH I DIDN'T KNOW IT, THAT

I GET A REALLY GOOD FOUNDATION

IN MY LIFE ABOUT HOW MUCH GOD LOVED ME.

AND YOU KNOW, WE CAN TELL EVERYBODY GOD LOVES YOU,

BUT DO WE REALLY KNOW HOW MUCH GOD LOVES US?

I MEAN, LIKE, REALLY?

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT IF YOU KNOW THE PERFECT LOVE OF GOD,

THAT IT CASTS OUT ALL FEAR.

YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FEAR.

BECAUSE WHEN YOU KNOW THAT GOD REALLY, REALLY LOVES YOU,

YOU KNOW THAT NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, THAT SOMEWHERE

IN THE MIDST OF IT, GOD IS GONNA WORK SOMETHING GOOD OUT OF IT,

AND THAT EVEN THOUGH NONE OF IT MAKES ANY SENSE, THAT THERE IS

A PLAN IN IT SOMEHOW, THAT'S GONNA ULTIMATELY WORK OUT

FOR YOUR GOOD.

AND SO EVEN IN THE MIDST OF HURTING, YOU CAN BE COMFORTED

EVEN IN YOUR PAIN, KNOWING THAT GOD WILL TAKE

EVEN THAT PAIN AND DO SOMETHING WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL IN YOU

THROUGH THAT.

AND SO, THE VERY FIRST MESSAGE THAT I TAUGHT PUBLICLY, WHEN I

STARTED TEACHING AT THE CHURCH WHERE I STARTED

THE WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY THAT HAS ULTIMATELY GROWN

AND DEVELOPED INTO WHAT WE SEE TODAY--WHEN I PRAYED AND ASKED

GOD WHAT HE WANTED ME TO TEACH, HE SAID, "I WANT YOU TO TELL

THEM THAT I LOVE THEM."

AND I THOUGHT, "WELL, I, YOU KNOW,

GOD, I WANT A MESSAGE OF POWER."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: I REMEMBER SAYING THAT.

"I WANT A MESSAGE OF POWER."

AND I SAID, "EVERYBODY KNOWS YOU LOVE 'EM.

EVERYBODY KNOWS YOU LOVE 'EM."

AND THE ANSWER THAT CAME BACK IN MY HEART WAS,

"NO, THEY DON'T.

IF THEY DID, THEY'D ACT A LOT DIFFERENT THAN WHAT THEY DO."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NOW I WANT YOU TO TRACK WITH YOU TODAY

AND THINK ABOUT WHAT I'M SAYING.

AND SO, EVENTUALLY, OVER THE NEXT LITTLE BIT OF TIME,

GOD LED ME TO THIS 1 JOHN 4:16, AND I'M GONNA READ 17 AND 18,

AND IT JUST REALLY--YOU KNOW, WE ALL TALK ABOUT, LIKE, KEY

MOMENTS IN OUR LIFE WITH GOD AND SPECIFIC THINGS THAT HAVE

HAPPENED TO US THAT HAVE BEEN REAL LIFE-CHANGING THINGS.

AND THIS WAS ACTUALLY ONE OF THEM FOR ME.

THIS 1 JOHN 4:16 JUST REALLY

TAUGHT ME A LESSON THAT HAS BEEN VERY VALUABLE IN MY LIFE.

"AND WE KNOW (WE UNDERSTAND, WE RECOGNIZE, AND WE ARE

CONSCIOUS OF)," NOT UNCONSCIOUS.

"(WE ARE CONSCIOUS OF BY OBSERVATION,)" I'M TAKING IT

SLOW BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO GET THESE WORDS.

"(BY OBSERVATION AND BY EXPERIENCE) AND WE

BELIEVE (ADHERE TO, PUT FAITH IN AND RELY ON) THE LOVE

THAT GOD CHERISHES FOR US.

GOD IS LOVE, AND HE WHO DWELLS AND CONTINUES IN LOVE DWELLS

AND CONTINUES IN GOD, AND GOD DWELLS AND CONTINUES IN HIM."

SO WE'RE GONNA READ 17 AND 18 IN A MINUTE, BUT I WANNA

ELABORATE ON THIS FOR JUST A FEW MOMENTS BECAUSE WHAT GOD SHOWED

ME OUT OF THIS IS THAT I-- THAT HE WAS LOVING ME

ALL THE TIME, THAT I JUST WAS NOT CONSCIOUS AND AWARE OF IT.

AND THAT HE WAS DOING ALL KINDS OF THINGS FOR ME ALL THE TIME

THAT WAS SHOWING HIS LOVE FOR ME.

A LOT OF THEM ARE IN LITTLE WAYS.

BUT HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW THAT SOMETIMES IT'S

THE LITTLE THINGS THAT PEOPLE DO FOR YOU THAT CAN ULTIMATELY

END UP MEANING THE MOST?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: IT IS EXCITING TO BE A CHRISTIAN.

YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT GOD IS GONNA DO AND WHAT HE'S GONNA DO NEXT.

ANY GIVEN DAY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT GOD IS GONNA DO.

YOU NEVER KNOW WHERE HE'S GONNA SHOW UP.

THAT'S WHY WE NEED TO BE EXPECTING, WE NEED TO BE

LOOKING, WE NEED TO BE FOCUSED, WE NEED TO BE AWARE, AND WE NEED

TO STOP THINKING THAT ALL THESE THINGS THAT HAPPEN--

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, IF 500 PEOPLE HAVE APPLIED

FOR A JOB AND YOU GET IT, THAT'S NOT AN ACCIDENT.

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: AND THAT'S NOT BECAUSE YOU'RE SO BRILLIANT EITHER.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: IT'S BECAUSE GOD GAVE YOU FAVOR, AMEN?

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING THAT GOD PUT ON MY HEART

THIS MORNING.

GOD WANTS TO TAKE SO MUCH BETTER CARE OF YOU THAN WHAT YOU'RE

LETTING HIM DO.

HE WANTS YOU TO DEPOSIT YOURSELF WITH HIM, JUST LIKE YOU DRIVE

THROUGH AT A BANK AND PUT YOUR PAYCHECK DOWN THAT SLOT,

WHAT KIND OF CONFIDENCE AND TRUST DOES THAT TAKE?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND YOU GET A LITTLE DEPOSIT SLIP BACK SAYING

THE MONEY'S IN THERE AND SAFE AND THEN YOU JUST GOING ABOUT

YOUR BUSINESS, AND WHEN YOU NEED SOMETHING, YOU WRITE A CHECK

OR YOU USE YOUR DEBIT CARD.

WELL, LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING.

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT WE SHOULD DEPOSIT OURSELVES WITH GOD.

AND IF YOU WILL DEPOSIT YOURSELF WITH HIM EVERY DAY AND SAY,

"THIS IS NOT ABOUT WHAT I CAN DO; IT'S ABOUT WHAT YOU

HAVE DONE.

I LOVE YOU.

I WANNA--I WANT TO CATCH YOU SHOWING OUT IN MY LIFE," AMEN?

AND JUST--AND BE LIKE A LITTLE CHILD.

UNLESS WE COME LIKE A LITTLE CHILD.

BECOME LIKE A LITTLE CHILD AND I'M CHALLENGING YOU TODAY

TO MAKE A BIGGER DEAL OUT OF THE LITTLE THINGS

THAT GOD DOES FOR YOU AND ALSO TO GET MORE EXCITED

ABOUT THEM.

AND I CAN TELL YOU, LIVING LIKE THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST

EXCITING PARTS OF MY PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

IT JUST KEEPS ME FIRED UP AND STIRRED UP, JUST TO SEE

THE THINGS THAT GOD DOES FOR US.

ACTUALLY, MY MOM DIED LAST WEEK, AND I'M GOOD WITH IT.

SHE WAS 90.

SHE HAD HAD A VERY DIFFICULT LIFE.

SHE WAS BORN AGAIN, AND SHE'S SO MUCH BETTER OFF TODAY

THAN WHAT SHE EVER WAS WHEN SHE WAS ALIVE HERE.

AND--

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SOMEBODY MIGHT THINK, "WELL, WHAT ARE YOU DOING

OUT PREACHING JUST A FEW DAYS AFTER YOUR MOM DIED?"

WELL, I THINK THAT'S THE HAPPIEST THING TO DO,

DON'T YOU?

AMEN.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND--BUT IT--I NOTICED--EVERYBODY SAY,

"NOTICED."

SEE, I'M GONNA SHARE SOME SCRIPTURE WITH YOU IN A MINUTE.

JESUS NOTICED EVERYTHING.

I MEAN, NO MATTER WHERE HE WAS GOING, HE NOTICED PEOPLE AROUND

HIM THAT WERE HURTING AND NEEDY AND NOT ONLY DID JESUS NOTICE,

HE STOPPED.

THERE'S A VERY WELL-KNOWN BOOK THAT'S BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG

TIME CALLED "IN HIS STEPS," STUDYING THE STEPS OF JESUS.

BUT I THINK WE NEED TO STUDY THE STOPS OF JESUS.

I THINK THAT WE NEED TO SEE HOW JUST A SIMPLE LITTLE NEED

THAT WE HAVE WILL STOP JESUS IN HIS TRACKS.

YOU KNOW, AN INTIMATE, PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.

I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU TODAY ABOUT DEAD, DRY, ROTE RELIGION

WHERE YOU JUST MARCH INTO A BUILDING EVERY WEEK, SIT

THERE, YOU KNOW, GET UP, GET DOWN, YOU KNOW, GET UP, GET

DOWN, GET BORED, FALL ASLEEP, CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO BE OVER.

GO HOME AND THEN GO BACK AND DO THE SAME THING THE NEXT WEEK.

I'M TALKING ABOUT LIVING WITH GOD, ABIDING IN HIM,

LETTING HIS WORD ABIDE IN YOU.

I MEAN, GET FULL-ON, FULL-IN, IT'S ALL ABOUT GOD.

"IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING,

AND APART FROM HIM, WE CAN DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I'D LIKE TO COME OUT THERE AND JUST UNZIP ALL OF YOU

AND SHOVE THIS IN YOU AND--

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: WE NEED TO BE EXCITED ABOUT SERVING GOD, AMEN?

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: AND SO I NOTICED JUST SOME THINGS THAT GOD DID FOR ME.

FIRST OF ALL, I WAS HOME THE TWO DAYS SHE WAS

IN THE HOSPITAL BEFORE SHE WENT TO HEAVEN, WHICH I'M NOT HOME

THAT MUCH.

AND SO, I FELT LIKE GOD ARRANGED THAT.

I THINK IT WAS PRETTY NICE OF GOD TO ARRANGE FOR HER TO DIE

ON A DAY WHEN I COULD BE THERE.

NOW, THAT MAY SOUND GOOFY TO YOU, BUT BECAUSE I COULD HAVE

BEEN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD, AND I THINK IT WAS

MORE IMPORTANT FOR HER THAT I WAS THERE THAN ANYBODY.

SO FIRST OF ALL, I WAS THERE.

THE OTHER THING THAT I SAW THAT GOD DID,

WHICH JUST WAS SO SWEET, I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS.

THE WEEK BEFORE SHE PASSED, SHE HAD THE BEST WEEK THAT I

HAD SEEN HER HAVE IN YEARS.

AND I HAD GIVEN HER MY DEVOTIONAL,

"TRUSTING GOD DAY BY DAY," AND SHE'D BEEN HAVING LOTS

OF SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH HER EYES, AND WE'D GOTTEN HER

SOME NEW GLASSES, AND THEY'D DONE A LITTLE LASER THING

AND SO-- AND IT WAS REALLY INTERESTING

BECAUSE WE WENT THROUGH ALL THAT AND SHE ONLY HAD

THOSE GLASSES ABOUT TEN DAYS.

AND IT WAS A LOT OF WORK AND EFFORT AND A LOT OF MONEY,

BUT GOD WANTED HER TO HAVE THAT THING THAT SHE WANTED

SO MUCH, WHICH WAS TO BE ABLE TO SEE AND READ,

AND SHE WAS LIKE A LITTLE KID.

SHE WOULD CALL ME UP, NOT EVERY DAY, BUT SHE CALLED ME

THREE OR FOUR TIMES IN THAT WEEK, "WELL, HONEY,

I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I'M SITTING UP IN MY CHAIR

AND I'M READING MY 'TRUSTING GOD DAY BY DAY'

DEVOTIONAL.

AND THIS IS--" AND SHE SAID, "AND THIS IS WHAT YOU TOLD ME

TO DO TODAY.

AND I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I'M GONNA DO

WHAT YOU TELL ME TO DO."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND SHE WAS SO HAPPY ABOUT BEING ABLE TO SEE.

AND THEN ALSO, THE LAST TIME THAT I VISITED MY MOTHER, WE HAD

THE BEST VISIT THAT WE HAD HAD IN POSSIBLY TEN YEARS

BECAUSE MY MOTHER HAD SOME MENTAL ISSUES, AND VISITING

WAS NOT ALWAYS AS PLEASANT AS YOU MIGHT HAVE LIKED IT

TO HAVE BEEN.

AND WE JUST HAD A GREAT TIME.

I MEAN, I ALWAYS WENT BECAUSE I KNEW IT WAS WHAT GOD WANTED ME

TO DO.

BUT A LOT OF TIMES, IT WASN'T ALL THAT PLEASANT.

IT DEPENDED ON WHAT ANXIETY LEVEL SHE WAS AT THAT DAY

AND HOW MUCH DEMENTIA WAS SHOWING UP.

AND THAT--SHE WAS JUST LIKE, IT WAS JUST PERFECT THAT DAY.

AND I BELIEVE THAT GOD DID THAT FOR ME.

NOW, SEE, I COULD JUST WRITE ALL THAT OFF AND SAY, "WELL,

WASN'T THAT A COINCIDENCE?" OR "WASN'T THAT LUCKY?"

CAN I JUST TELL YOU SOMETHING?

JUST THROW THE WORD "LUCK" AWAY.

JUST--

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: THAT WORD ANNOYS ME.

I DON'T LIKE TO HEAR CHRISTIANS USE THE WORD "LUCK."

NOW, I'M NOT SAYING IT'S A SIN, BUT LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING.

IF YOU'RE IN A FULL-ON RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, THERE'S

NOTHING LUCKY ABOUT ANYTHING GOOD THAT HAPPENS TO YOU.

IT IS ON PURPOSE, A BLESSING FROM GOD, AMEN?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: SO WAY BACK, 32 YEARS AGO, I BEGAN TO LEARN TO LIVE

LIKE THIS.

AND IT DID SO MUCH FOR MY PERSONAL WALK WITH GOD,

AND I PERSONALLY THINK IT IS--REALLY INCREASES

THE ANOINTING ON MY LIFE AND HELPS ME BE ABLE TO SHARE

JESUS WITH YOU IN A WAY THAT IS VERY REAL AND PERSONAL

INSTEAD OF JUST LIKE, YOU KNOW, HE'S SOME GOD OFF UP IN THE SKY

SOMEWHERE THAT WE'VE GOT TO BE AFRAID OF HALF THE TIME.

VERSE 17: "IN THIS [UNION AND COMMUNION WITH HIM] LOVE

IS BROUGHT TO COMPLETION AND ATTAINS PERFECTION WITH US,

THAT WE MIGHT HAVE CONFIDENCE FOR THE DAY OF JUDGMENT."

IF YOU NEED MORE CONFIDENCE, SOAK UP MORE OF GOD'S LOVE.

"[WITH ASSURANCE AND BOLDNESS TO FACE HIM], BECAUSE AS HE IS,

SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD.

THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE [DREAD DOES NOT EXIST], BUT FULL-GROWN

(COMPLETE, PERFECT) LOVE," WHICH IS THE KIND OF LOVE

THAT GOD HAS FOR YOU.

I'M NOT TALKING TO SOMEBODY ELSE TODAY.

I'M TALKING TO YOU.

AND TO YOU THAT ARE WATCHING BY TV.

I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND GOD LOVES YOU.

AND HE'S DOING THINGS FOR YOU ALL THE TIME.

AND IT'S TIME WE WAKE UP AND BEGIN TO SEE HOW GOOD GOD IS

AND HOW MUCH HE LOVES US AND GET EXCITED ABOUT IT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "FOR FEAR BRINGS WITH IT THE THOUGHT OF TORMENT

AND PUNISHMENT, [SO] HE WHO IS AFRAID HAS NOT REACHED THE FULL

MATURITY OF LOVE [HAS NOT YET GROWN INTO LOVE'S COMPLETE

PERFECTION]."

SO THIS IS THE FIRST THING THAT I THINK THAT WE NEED TO BE

MORE AWARE OF, IS JUST REALLY HOW MUCH GOD LOVES US.

AND I WOULD CHALLENGE YOU TO KEEP WHAT YOU CAN CALL

A BOOK OF GOD'S FAVOR

OR A BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE.

GUYS CAN DO IT AS WELL AS LADIES.

I KNOW YOU MAY NOT WANNA SIT AROUND AND JOURNAL ALL THE TIME,

BUT YOU KNOW, JUST A LITTLE BOOK TO WRITE DOWN SOME OF THESE

LITTLE THINGS THAT YOU CATCH GOD DOING FOR YOU, AND I'M TELLING

YOU, YOU GET ABOUT THREE, FOUR, FIVE YEARS OF THAT

UNDER YOUR BELT, AND YOU HAVE A ROUGH ROTTEN DAY WHERE YOU

FEEL DEPRESSED, YOU CAN GET A CUP OF COFFEE OR TEA OR WATER

OR WHATEVER YOU DRINK, YOU CAN GET THAT BOOK OUT

AND YOU CAN REMEMBER--C'MON, THERE'S POWER IN REMEMBERING.

YOU CAN REMEMBER SOME OF THE OUTRAGEOUS THINGS

THAT GOD HAS DONE FOR YOU.

AND IMMEDIATELY, YOU'LL START TO FEEL CLOSER TO GOD.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WE'RE LOVED.

GOD LOVES US.

DOESN'T MATTER WHO DOESN'T LOVE US.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "IF GOD BE FOR ME, WHO CAN BE AGAINST ME?

IF GOD IS ON MY SIDE, WHOM SHALL I FEAR?"

NOW, I THINK THAT WE SHOULD BE MORE AWARE OF WHAT GOD IS DOING

FOR US THAN WHAT HE'S NOT DOING FOR US.

I THINK WE'RE PRETTY GOOD AT BEING AWARE OF THAT.

"[MUTTERING]"

I'M TELLING YOU WHAT, GOD'S INVOLVED IN EVERY LITTLE DETAIL

OF OUR LIVES.

DEVELOP THE GIFT OF AWARENESS.

I'M PRAYING ALL THE TIME, "GOD, GRANT ME THE GIFT OF AWARENESS."

WELL, YOU BEGIN TO PRAY THAT OVER YOUR LIFE.

"GOD, GRANT ME THE GIFT OF AWARENESS.

I WANNA BE MORE AND MORE AWARE OF THE THINGS THAT I

SHOULD BE AWARE OF."

MATTHEW 7 SAYS: "WHY ARE YOU AWARE OF THE SPECK

THAT'S IN YOUR BROTHER'S EYE AND UNAWARE OF THE LOG

THAT'S IN YOUR OWN?" WELL, WE COULD CAMP RIGHT HERE

FOR THE REST OF THE DAY, COULDN'T WE?"

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I AM TRAINED, HIGHLY SKILLED

AND TRAINED IN FAULT FINDING.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: YOU SAY, "WELL, WHAT KIND OF A PERSON ARE YOU?"

AN HONEST ONE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I NOTICE THINGS THAT I SHOULDN'T BE NOTICING.

IT'S PART OF MY PERSONALITY.

I JUST SEE THINGS.

I NOTICE THINGS.

AND IT'S, YOU KNOW.

THANK GOD BECAUSE OF HIS WORD, I'VE LEARNED TO HANDLE

THOSE THINGS DIFFERENTLY, AND SO MAYBE I WOULD NOTICE WHAT

WAS WRONG WITHOUT MAKING ANY EFFORT AT ALL, BUT NOW I'VE

LEARNED THAT I CAN MAKE A LITTLE EFFORT AND I CAN NOTICE WHAT'S

RIGHT, AND THEN THAT MEDICINE OF GOD'S WORD IS THE ANTIDOTE

THAT I NEEDED FOR THE POISON THAT WAS FILLING MY SOUL

OF BEING A FAULT-FINDER.

GOD HAS GOT AN ANTIDOTE FOR EVERYTHING THAT TRIES

TO POISON OUR SOUL.

IF YOU GOT SNAKEBITE, THE FIRST THING YOU DO WOULD BE GO

TO A HOSPITAL AND GET AN ANTIDOTE.

AT LEAST, IF YOU WERE SMART AND WANTED TO KEEP LIVING,

YOU WOULD.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: AND WE HAVE A WHOLE LIST OF ANTIDOTES RIGHT HERE

FOR EVERYTHING THAT EVER TRIES TO POISON OUR SOUL.

I MEAN, YOU CAN FIND IT RIGHT IN THE CONCORDANCE.

YOU'RE ANGRY?

SEVEN SCRIPTURE REFERENCES; LOOK 'EM UP, SOAK 'EM IN, WOW.

"MAN'S ANGER DOES NOT PROMOTE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS

THAT GOD DESIRES."

MMM.

"A MAN WHO CAN'T CONTROL HIS ANGER IS LIKE A CITY

BROKEN DOWN WITHOUT WALLS," WOW.

AND SEE, THE MORE YOU DO THIS, THE MORE YOU WON'T EVEN HAVE

TO GO LOOK AT 'EM; YOUR SPIRIT'S GONNA BE FULL OF 'EM AND IT'S

ALMOST LIKE--I FEEL LIKE SOMETIMES LIKE I'M

A SPIRITUAL JUKEBOX.

IT'S LIKE YOU JUST PUNCH ANY BUTTON AND JUST GET

A WHOLE BUNCH OF STUFF OUT OF ME.

BUT WHEN YOU HAVE ENOUGH WORD IN YOU, NO MATTER WHAT KIND

OF A SITUATION YOU GET IN, THE DEVIL MAY PUSH ONE BUTTON,

BUT THE HOLY GHOST CAN PUSH ANOTHER BUTTON, AND OUT'S GONNA

COME THE ANTIDOTE FOR WHAT YOU NEED.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "WELL, I WISH I KNEW THE WORD LIKE THAT."

STOP IT.

YOU DON'T NEED WISHBONE; WE NEED BACKBONE.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NOBODY GETS A GREAT LIFE WISHING FOR IT.

JOYCE: YOU KNOW, THERE'S TREMENDOUS POWER IN REMEMBERING

ALL THE GREAT THINGS THAT GOD HAS DONE FOR US.

SO I WANNA ASK YOU TO PRAY THAT GOD WILL GRANT YOU

THE GIFT OF AWARENESS.

GOD'S ALWAYS DOING AMAZING THINGS, BUT SOMETIMES WE'RE JUST

NOT AWARE OF IT, OFTEN BECAUSE WE'RE TOO AWARE OF OUR PROBLEMS.

AND YOU KNOW, THERE'S AN ANSWER IN GOD'S WORD

FOR EVERY PROBLEM THAT WE HAVE.

I LOVE THAT.

SO TODAY, WE'RE OFFERING YOU THE "EVERYDAY LIFE STUDY BIBLE."

AND I THINK IT'S JUST REALLY A VERY GOOD STUDY BIBLE.

IT'S FULL OF ARTICLES THAT I'VE WRITTEN, THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN

TAKEN FROM MY TEACHINGS, AND I JUST THINK YOU'RE REALLY,

REALLY, REALLY GONNA LIKE IT.

I THINK THEY'RE OFFERING THE GRAY ONE AND THE PINK ONE

TODAY, AND I PERSONALLY HAVE THE GRAY ONE.

I REALLY LIKE IT.

THE PINK IS BEAUTIFUL TOO.

I DON'T IMAGINE TOO MANY GUYS WOULD WANT A PINK BIBLE, BUT WE

HAVE THE GRAY ONE FOR YOU, AND I THINK YOU'RE REALLY GONNA ENJOY

THIS BIBLE.

SO IF YOU'LL STAY WITH ME FOR JUST A FEW MOMENTS, I HAVE

SOMETHING SPECIAL I WANNA TALK TO YOU ABOUT BEFORE WE CLOSE.

JOYCE: YOU KNOW, THIS WHOLE THING ABOUT WANTING TO TEACH

SPIRITUAL MATURITY, IT'S ALL INVOLVED IN THE SOUL.

I MEAN, ONCE YOU'RE BORN AGAIN, YOU'RE FINE SPIRITUALLY.

EVERYTHING THAT YOU NEED IS RIGHT WAY DOWN DEEP

IN YOUR SPIRIT.

BUT IT'S GOT TO BE WORKED OUT IN YOUR SOUL AND OUT

THROUGH YOUR BODY FOR YOU TO ENJOY IT OR FOR ANYBODY ELSE

TO BE AFFECTED BY IT.

AND JAMES I SAYS THAT THE WORD CONTAINS THE POWER

TO SAVE OUR SOULS.

IT'S NOT TALKING ABOUT BEING BORN AGAIN.

IT'S TALKING ABOUT TO RENEW YOUR MIND, TO HELP YOU GROW

TO THE POINT WHERE YOU CAN WANT WHAT GOD WANTS INSTEAD OF WHAT

YOU WANT, AND TO HELP YOU NOT GET RID OF YOUR EMOTIONS,

BUT ENJOY THE GOOD ONES AND CONTROL THE BAD ONES

WITH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

AND I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE JUST--YOU GO LOOK AT YOURSELF

IN THE MIRROR, AND THAT TELLS YOU NOTHING ABOUT WHAT YOU

REALLY ARE.

YOU KNOW, YOU CAN--I ALWAYS SAY, "YOU CAN DRESS IT UP AND TAKE IT

TO CHURCH BUT THAT STILL DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU'RE A REAL

CHRISTIAN BEHIND CLOSED DOORS," SO IT'S THE HALLMARK

OF MY TEACHING THIS WHOLE THING OF SPIRITUAL MATURITY.

IT'S ONE THING TO TELL SOMEBODY TO GROW UP.

IT'S ANOTHER THING TO HELP WALK THEM THROUGH IT.

JOYCE: GOD HAS GIVEN US THE PRIVILEGE OF REACHING OUT

TO THE LOST AND THE HURTING PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD.

AND WE NEED YOUR HELP.

WE CAN'T DO IT BY OURSELF.

WE NEED PEOPLE TO COME ALONGSIDE OF US AS PARTNERS

WITH THE MINISTRY.

SO PLEASE PRAYERFULLY CONSIDER JOINING OUR FAMILY TODAY

BY MAKING THE COMMITMENT TO BE A JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

WELL, IT MEANS YOU'RE GONNA PRAY FOR US, AND WE'D LOVE YOU

TO COME TO A CONFERENCE.

ANY TIME WE'RE EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO WHERE YOU'RE AT,

WE'D LOVE TO HAVE YOU COME.

AND ALSO, WE--THAT MEANS THAT YOU ARE GONNA

FINANCIALLY GIVE TO THE MINISTRY ON A REGULAR BASIS.

WE HAVE SO MANY WONDERFUL PEOPLE THAT ARE ALREADY PARTNERS,

AND WE JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT WE APPRECIATE YOU AND WE

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PARTNERSHIP, AND I PRAY

THAT LOTS OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN ENJOYING THE PROGRAM,

THAT HAVE ENJOYED THE TEACHING FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME,

YOU REALLY WANNA DO SOMETHING, YOU WANNA REACH OUT TO HURTING

PEOPLE, BUT YOU DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW OR MAYBE YOU FEEL LIKE

WHAT YOU CAN DO IS NOT ENOUGH, BUT YOU KNOW, THE THING IS, IS

WE TAKE WHAT YOU CAN DO AND PUT IT TOGETHER WITH WHAT SOMEBODY

ELSE CAN DO, AND IT'S AMAZING WHAT WE CAN DO IF WE ALL DO IT

TOGETHER.

SO ONCE AGAIN, PLEASE BECOME A PARTNER WITH US TODAY

IF YOU'RE NOT ONE.

THANK YOU.

It's My Life | 비켜라 운명아 - Ep.27 [SUB : ENG,CHN,IND / 2018.12.18] - Duration: 33:34.

(Episode 27)

Why aren't you asking me anything?

Because I'm not curious.

I wanted to erase

all my memories of the past.

I wanted to forget

everyone associated with my family.

I wanted to succeed entirely on my own effort.

That's why I cut Namjin out of my life too.

Namjin

seems to love you a lot.

Am I wrong?

I never loved him back.

Do I deserve to be criticized for not reciprocating

his feelings for me?

My heart's already set on someone else.

My heart flutters when I think about him.

I can barely breathe

when I see him.

Am I not allowed to feel that?

Huh? What in the world?

That's Mr. Choi Siu and Ms. Jeong Jina.

Mr. An cannot see this.

Never.

What's wrong, Ms. Han?

Ms. Han! Ms. Han!

Ms. Han, are you okay?

Yes, I'm okay.

Let me see.

Look at this. You're bleeding.

What should we do? Should I take you to the hospital?

No. It was my fault.

You can go.

Pardon? Are you sure you'll be okay?

I could give you money for medication...

That's okay. I'm sorry.

Okay. Thank you.

Ow. I can't straighten this leg.

Help me.

Good grief. I said I was coming.

Why couldn't you wait?

I wanted us to go elsewhere.

Why couldn't you be more careful?

Didn't you see the bicycle coming?

Why are you scolding me when this is your fault?

Are you blaming me for getting hurt?

I don't know.

Let's see. Can you walk?

Piggyback.

Pardon?

I can't walk at all, so give me a piggyback ride.

Fine. Get on my back.

Come on.

Geez. Are you addicted to piggyback rides?

Are you sure we don't need to go to the hospital?

Why go to the hospital for just a scraped knee?

I'm worried it'll scar.

Bruises fade, but scars last a long time.

I'll take good care of it so it doesn't.

One shouldn't carry a scar

on one's body or soul.

I hope you don't misunderstand.

It didn't mean anything.

I won't misunderstand.

Don't blame yourself, Director Choi.

I won't get the wrong idea

nor think it meant anything.

Here is my secret weapon,

tuna kimchi stew, my angel.

It looks okay.

This tuna kimchi stew comforted me

when I was lonely

during my long travels in China...

It's okay.

What are you doing? Huh?

How can you put your spoon in

before my angel tastes it?

She can't handle really spicy foods,

so I tasted it first.

It's not that spicy.

It should be okay for you.

Really?

It's not bad.

Does he fancy himself a royal food taster?

Shall we drink?

Sure.

Let me ask you man to man.

What is the nature of your relationship with my angel?

Executive Director Choi and I?

We joined Hyunkang at the same time.

We've known each other for over 30 years.

30 years...

So you've stuck to her for 30 years

like a piece of chewed up gum?

I don't care for your analogy.

We're just friends, maybe even soulmates

who really get each other.

Am I right?

Of course.

Soulmates?

Are you married?

What's going on here?

Mr. Lee,

do you hold a grudge against Chief Jang?

Why are you interrogating him like he's a criminal?

It's okay, Executive Director Choi.

You seem to have many questions for me,

and I don't see why I can't answer them.

You asked me if I was married, right?

No, I've never been married.

Not even once?

No, not even once.

That puts me at a clear disadvantage.

Pardon?

At a disadvantage?

I have feelings for Executive Director Choi.

Are you okay?

Let's play fair.

Play fair?

You've long been

my angel's soulmate.

You're also a famous designer,

have a J.D. and don't have an ex-wife.

Nevertheless, I'll still

give it my all.

He must be drunk.

What's the matter with him?

Although

my wife divorced me

for driving my sewing plant to bankruptcy,

I can't see my only daughter,

and I live off the grace of Namjin,

as for my love for my angel,

I know

I have no rival

in the entire world...

What's the matter with you two?

Ow, my head. Ow, my head.

I'm turning in.

Stay and drink, Chief Jang.

My heart aches.

You said you couldn't walk, but look at you.

You went off on me for being careless,

so I was peeved.

Go on in.

And put something on your knee.

I will.

I'm proud of you, boss.

You're proud of me?

For pulling yourself together despite the heartbreak.

Listen, boss.

You can put ointment on a physical injury,

but do you know how to treat an emotional injury?

How?

There, there. There, there.

It's okay. Like this.

Let me know whenever you need treatment,

okay?

I'm going in now.

Why did you do that?

Why, Choi Siu?

Have you lost your mind?

Tell me if anything's lacking.

Also, let me know if there's anything you crave.

I'll make you anything you like.

I'm sorry about yesterday, Siu.

I got so angry at Jina

that I lost my temper.

I won't cause a scene again at Hyunkang.

But I hope you won't stop me

from bringing lunch for people.

People bond over food,

which is why I brought lunch

for Namjin's team members.

You wouldn't deny me that, right?

And let me know if you want lunch for your team.

I'll make you a very fancy spread.

No, I'm fine.

At least you know you were in the wrong.

This isn't about you.

I'm talking about last evening.

What about last evening?

How could you?

I even texted you about bringing a guest for dinner,

so how could you get drunk,

pass out and not prepare dinner?

I'm sorry.

I drank so much that I didn't know you had texted.

This is your phone, right?

Yes. But why do you...

You had left it here, so I kept it for safekeeping.

Hi, Cheongsan.

To talk about what?

Yes, okay.

I'll come to your office later.

Was it Counsel Heo?

Yes. He wants me to come to his office for a talk.

I wonder what he has to say.

Counsel Heo called last night

and asked for you,

so I told him you were sleeping

after drinking all afternoon.

Pardon? You told him I drank?

Yes.

Our priority is picking a theme for the fashion show.

Feel free to share any ideas you have.

I think

something that feels dynamic

would be best for expressing youth.

Okay. That sounds good.

Are you talking about sports and leisure wear?

Yes.

Is that a bad idea?

It's difficult to make sports and leisure wear diverse,

so it can easily look unoriginal.

Let's first define our target consumer base

befitting the theme of youth.

Will we go with the freshness of teens,

the vigor of 20-year-olds,

or the dynamic activity of 30-year-olds?

Which age group do you associate with youth?

It's when I wore a uniform and went to school.

When is one

more full of dreams and carefree?

Yes.

School uniform. That's good.

School uniform?

Yes. School and gym uniforms.

We'll design simple, everyday wear.

Wow. That's a good idea.

Frankly, today's school uniforms are uncomfortable.

And they're made of fabrics that easily stain.

So we can use performance fabrics to make

school and gym uniforms that are stain-resistant,

easy to wash, and comfortable.

It would also bolster Hyunkang's image to make

comfortable yet chic school uniforms.

That's a good idea.

School uniforms slash simple everyday wear.

Students must get gym uniforms,

so stable sales revenues are guaranteed.

Ms. Kim, get us stain-resistant and breathable

performance fabric.

Mr. Gu, a sales report, please.

And Mr. Lee, get the sewing and dyeing plant ready.

Ms. Lee and I can start designing, right?

Yes. Okay. Let's get moving.

Ms. Seo,

where's your report comparing campus looks?

I'm not done analyzing the information.

I told you the report was due today.

I didn't ask you to design anything.

Does it take that long to edit and analyze

information that's online?

I'm sorry, sir.

Get it done before you leave today.

Tender your resignation if you can't.

Chief Jang.

Yes?

These old and cliche designs won't do.

We need designs that exude youth at first glance.

I'm sure you know,

but fashion must have something new and a strong vibe.

I see neither in these designs.

I'll come up with something else.

Mr. Jo, where's the sales report?

I'm on my last page, sir.

I'll submit it as soon as I finish proofreading it.

Ms. Kim, is the list of cutting-edge fabrics ready?

I'll submit it along with the trimmings list.

And Ms. Jeong.

Yes, sir.

Did I ask you for a thesis?

Pardon?

You must offer specifics on the designs.

What use is a list of theoretical concepts?

I'm sorry, sir.

Sorry won't cut it.

Have you become idle already?

You've only just started.

Shouldn't a rookie be more on the ball?

I'm sorry.

I'll redo the report.

Everyone in this room, listen carefully.

Don't think you can

wing this because the other team's a joke.

Winging it is not in my vocabulary.

What's with Director Choi?

Have you been putting too much pressure on him?

Why would I pressure him

when he knows what he's doing?

Ms. Jeong,

you worked late last night with Director Choi, right?

Did something happen?

No, nothing happened.

Was it 30 years ago?

When you first joined Hyunkang,

Vice President An Yeonggyu

was wound up too

and lashed out at his staffers.

He flew off the handle so easily

that we used to badmouth him whenever we got together.

Yes, we did.

I didn't know then

that he lashed out at us as he didn't know

how to rein in his love for you.

You seem to be reading my mind.

Something's up

between my Siu and her, right?

How should I know? I've never been with anyone.

No. I'm sure my hunch is right.

Siu has done this before.

When he was little, he was very hard on this girl

he had a crush on.

When I asked him why, he said

he wouldn't know what to do

if she stopped

liking him and left him.

He said he'd rather not start anything at all.

Siu has feelings for Ms. Jeong?

No way.

I have to do something about this.

I must hurry and get Siu wed.

Thermal underwear for you, Dad. And you, Mom.

Thermal underwear? Hon, Daesik got us

thermal underwear with his first paycheck.

My goodness.

Wow. We'll be toasty warm this winter.

Thank you.

Thank you for the thermal underwear,

but I wish you'd stop

doing homeshopping shows

and just return home.

I-I can't do that.

Why not?

Because Jina's in Seoul.

So what if she is?

You said you barely see her.

Speaking of which,

couldn't you set me up

with a business near her work?

A business? What kind? A restaurant?

Not a restaurant. A cafe.

Cafe?

I'm a licensed barista.

I tagged along with Namjin and Jina

and got my license when they did.

Oh, right.

You said

it was for making coffee or something, right?

Hon, you said there was no use

for such a license when people

can have instant coffee at home.

I did.

Folks in Seoul don't drink instant coffee.

They only drink brewed coffee.

If I have my own cafe,

I can see Jina every day.

Oh. I can also see Yeonji every day too.

Do you mean that young lady yesterday?

Yes.

Okay. Let's think about it.

You still haven't quit drinking?

Even when Chairman An was alive,

I was worried that you were sneaking drinks.

But now you're getting drunk out in the open?

You see, what happened is,

Ms. Yang was upset about something.

Can you be so reckless just because Mr. An

and Ms. Yang treat you like family?

Are you that careless?

I'm sorry.

Mr. An is skating on thin ice right now.

There is no telling what'll happen

until Hyunkang's next CEO is decided.

And yet you'll just

recklessly get drunk on wines

you've hidden away in your room?

Chairman An used to be very concerned too

that you might be an alcoholic.

But he didn't make it an issue because thankfully,

you never slipped up.

Alcoholic?

That's not true.

It's just that one glass became two

and then three from living uneventfully as

an observer for 30 years

in a house that was like a monastery.

Was alcohol all you had to comfort yourself?

Why didn't you learn a new skill or trade?

I lived for 30 years like I was invisible.

Learn new skills for what?

But I'm happy now to have met Mr. An's family,

who treats me like I'm one of them,

so I drank to celebrate after a long hiatus.

Then why don't you show your gratitude

to your new family?

Show my gratitude?

Make Ms. Yang

the true matriarch of Hyunkang.

Of course. It's high time Siu got married.

Any eligible young ladies?

I'd prefer a family in real estate or investment.

Yes?

Hang on.

What is it?

Chief Jang is in a meeting,

so I was told to get this signed off by you.

Wait. I'll look at it after I get off the phone.

Yes.

Jusang Construction?

They also have a huge resort business.

And the daughter?

A 26 year-old violin major?

That's great.

Okay. Set it up for this weekend.

If Siu is okay with it, I want them engaged this year.

Okay. Thanks.

Sorry.

I'm preoccupied these days trying to find

Director Choi a wife.

Let's see.

Right, security transfer certificate!

Good heavens. You startled me.

I messed up my nail because of you.

Geez. Seriously.

There must be a security transfer certificate

if Manseok transferred the shares to Seungju.

What are you talking about?

That's already in Seungju's possession.

Look.

What's this?

Notice on Hyunkang's general shareholders' meeting.

What does this have to do with the security

transfer certificate?

Are you stupid?

If Manseok's shares have been transferred to Seungju,

this mail would've gone to Seungju.

Oh, my. You're right.

I wonder what happened.

He said he gave her the shares.

I must find the certificate.

To do what?

I'll hand it over to Executive Director Choi

for a handsome price.

Are you going to cause trouble again?

No. Manseok will kick us out if you do.

We'll do it behind his back.

It's still a no.

Do it alone if you must.

Who'd this be for anyway?

It's for you.

Let's hand over the shares to people who need it

and use the money to live it up.

What if Manseok finds out?

Play dumb and say you didn't know.

He'll think Executive Director Choi pulled a fast one.

What do I have to do?

You know where Seungju lives, right?

Yes.

I just have to sneak in

and steal the security transfer certificate.

How will anyone know it was me?

But how I do get into her place?

Should I get a locksmith? But if he sees me...

No, no. That won't work.

Oh, right.

Seungju's door lock passcode.

I think I can get it.

Seungju texted her passcode to Manseok.

Bravo.

Bravo?

What's the good news?

You see,

we're happy you're home early.

Yes. That's right, Manseok.

But why are you home so early?

I left at exactly 5:00 to see my pretty Yeonsil

and my troublemaker brother-in-law.

I won't cause any more trouble, Manseok.

Go shower. I'll get dinner ready.

What's for dinner?

Kimchi stew.

Did you make it?

No. I got it from the side dish store.

I'm sorry. I'll practice and make it myself

next time.

Yes, yes. Okay.

Just as I expected.

The transferee line is blank.

I said you didn't have to drive me home.

Your father said I had to if I kept you working late.

I'll be working late every day to get the designs done.

Will you drive me home every night?

Sure. Of course.

I'm your trusty big brother.

My eyes hurt, and my shoulders are sore,

but I'm still happy

that I have a trusty big brother.

Don't be hurting, my baby sister.

There, there.

You picked that up right away.

It's my specialty.

Hurry in. It's cold.

Okay. I'll get going then.

Nevertheless, how could you bring her here?

What if Director Choi or my angel runs into her?

I heard Ms. Han Seungju

lives at Mr. An's house.

I heard you desperately want

Manseok's Hyunkang shares.

We've met, right?

Do you think it'll really be okay

to compete with just school uniforms?

I do a great job when I set my mind to it.

ப்ளூ சண்(ட்)டை Honor 8x vs Redmi Note 6 Pro - விரிவான ஒப்பீடு - Duration: 8:59.

hi friends i am your Giridhar I have the redmi note 6 pro and honor 8x

there are good selling mid range mobiles if you have a confusion about buying one of

these mobile, watch this video.

Ill compare them today

[intro music]

if we give these phones to some and ask them to choose the best design, many will choose

the honor 8x.

though redmi note 6 pro is a metal body mobile, it is very common design

but honor 8x design is unique.

glass body.

stylish, dual texture finish and also the red variant is out of the world beautiful

black is also available, but blue and red and world class

redmi note 6 pro is available in 4 colors, but still its the same old design.

Honor 8x is more attractive

though honor 8x is a glass body mobile, it weighs just 175 grams while the note 6 pro

weighs 182 grams.

also thickness its 7.8mm while note 6 pro is 8.3mm

Both have corning gorilla glass display protection.

but note 6 pro glass version is unknown, while honor 8x uses CG3

another advantage for the Honor 8x is the triple sim card tray.

dedicated sd card slot

but note 6 pro uses hybrid sim card tray

both mobiles support dual 4G VoLTE

honor 8x has a lot of advantages in design

both mobiles supports full H+ resolution

but honor 8x has 6.5 inch which is bigger than the 6.23 inch redmi note 6 pro display

Honor 8x has a smaller notch

So honor 8x has 84% screen to body ratio while Note 6 pro only has 81%

Honor 8x has slimmer bezels while note 6 pro has big chin at bottom and a wide notch.

Both displays have reading mode eye protection

though u don't use reading mode, honor 8x blocks harmful blue rays and this is verified

by TUV Rheinland

Redmi note 6 pro runs on snapdragon 636 which is a 14 nm processor.

I wish it had come with a latest processor like 660.

SD636 is not a bad processor, but SD660 is better than that SD636 and i was expecting

it on Note 6 pro.

But HONOR 8X has HiSilicon 710.

This is a latest processor which uses 12 nanometer technology.

Its performance is also good.

I ran the benchmark score .

The REDMI scored 113666 but HONOR scored nearly 134749 that is higher.

The geek bench score is also higher in the HONOR 8X with comparison to the REDMI NOTE

6 PRO.

As it has GPU turbo, it is advantageous to gaming in the HONOR 8x.

Both the phones has all the sensors.

They both don't have NFC.

The project trebble support is there in both the phones.

The finger print support is there in both the phones.

Now lets check the fastness of the finger print support…

FP Sensor speed is same

Lets check the speed of the face unlock in both the mobile…

Ok, the face unlock is faster in the HONOR8X.

Next lets check the loudness of the speaker in these phones…

First, in the HONOR 8x…

So, the maximum decibels in REDMI NOTE 6 PRO is 104.5 which is higher than the HONOR 8X.

Next, the camera…

First lets see about the hardware.

The REDMI NOTE 6 PRO 12 has megapixel plus 5 megapixel camera set up.

This 12 megapixel camera's apperture is f1.9.

At the same time, the HONOR 8x has 20 megapixel plus 2 megapixel depth sensor.

This 20 megapixel camera's apperture is f1.8.

So, it is a bigger apperture.

For clicking a photo there is no optical image stabilization in both phones.

But by using electronic image stabilization, through artificial intelligence they are giving

stability to click photos.

So, in the HONOR 8x, they have named it as AIS.

So just like in the videos' electronic image stabilization, for the photos it is AIS in

the HONOR 8X.

Obviously, in both phones, it is supported by the electronic image stabilization.

There is no 4k videos support in both the phones.

But in the HONOR 8 X, you can shoot a full HD videos with

the 60 frames per sec.

In the REDMI NOTE 6 PRO, you can shoot a full HD video with 30 frames per sec.

Redmi Note 6 Pro camera UI has the usual set of options like video, portrait, photo

But Honor 8X has much more options like aperture and nightmode

Aperture mode is different from portrait mode

after clicking the photo, you can choose the focus point and change the blur level.

It also has night mode.

With AIS, the nightmode shots are stable and good to view.

Night mode in this price range is a big advantage for honor 8x

at the front, Honor 8x has 16 MP with f2.0 while note 6 pro has dual camera setup 20

+ 2 MPsetup

Both have AI in Camera.

AI detects the scene and processes the image.

But

the output is better

in Honor 8x.

Low light photography Redmi Note 6 pro gives sharp image and the white balance is also

better.

Honor 8x runs on Android 8.1 and so does Redmi Note 6 pro, but the skin on top is EMUI in

Honor 8x and MIUI in note 6 pro.

MIUI or EMUI is your personal preference, but Honor 8x has the latest novermber security

patch, while Note 6 pro has october patch

Honor 8x has 3750 mah battery while Note 6 pro has 4000 mAh battery, but still they gave

similar battery life in real life

Under moderate usage, both last for 1.5 days or more, but intensive usage gives about 6-7

hours of SOT

so far you saw the comparison of both these mobiles.

My preference among these mobiles is the Honor 8x.

We have uploaded a detailed review of both these mobiles in the channel.

I suggest you watch them to make a good decision.

I will catch up with on the next video, until then this is Giridhar.
