today we are going to make apple jam
very easy way

to make apple jam we have taken 1 bowl sugar
1 big lemon juice
we have taken 1 kg shimla apple
you can take any apple but in shimla apple has less waxing
now we will cut it
we will remove the seeds and other extra stuff
if you wish you can remove the peel
but we have not removed the peel so the natural color will come in jam
we will cut it in small pieces
we have cut all the apple now put it in one pot
we will add 2 cup water
we will keep it in stove with full flame
cover it for the 10 min
10 min is over we will check now
using ladle we will press the apple if its getting pressed softly, that means apple is ready
we will press apple by ladle
now we will mash it with masher
apple was juicy that why too much juice came out
to make it thick we will keep the flame high
you can see its mashed properly
now we will filter it
if you feel headache on filtering then remove the peel
by removing the peel its not required to filter
but in our case we will have remove the peel from pulp so filtering is required
we have filtered the pulp now its clear, no seed and no peels
now we will keep it again in stove with full flame
we will add 1/4 teaspoon food color
mix it well
if you like more color then you can increase or decrease the color quantity
if you wish you can use the color or you can add beetroot while boiling
now we will add sugar
mix it well and we will cook till it gets thick
you can see bubble is coming
its getting started thick
you can see now its thick
to check we will put jam in one plate, you can see its transparent and thick
by this way you will know its ready
switch off the flame and keep it for get normal temperature.
jam is thick and cold now we will add lemon juice in it
by adding lemon juice, sugar will not get hard and jam will be transparent
so dont avoid to add the lemon juice its very much required
now we will take it our in one jar
we have taken out the jam in one bowl and keep rest of the jam in jar
by keeping this in fridge you can eat till one month with bread, chapati, paratha or any other dish
you can see its thick and it has natural color and tasty in eating
you can make it at home so easily not required to buy from market
