Waching daily Nov 12 2017

I got the hair soon blink I got the hair sim blade club right here really really

you know maybe doing this subscription this is a men's essentials you know

grooming products ties accessories gentlemen stuff man this right here is

gentleman stuff my cat kind of got to it he wanted me to open this up so bad so

he started scratching at it so let's get right into it we have two months worth

right here and let's just go with the scratched one first oh I'm thinking that

I'm going backwards here because this is October so you can see that on the back

it has the value of the actual the content inside the box so we're looking

at a value of $85 which is well over the subscription price so let's just get

right into it Harrison Blake is their own brand they

have sometimes they have other brands but it's usually mostly their brand

hopefully my hairdress wasn't showing but you know who cares right all right

so we have some sucks this is burnt actually it is blue and

whites were lapel pin wait these are sucks

all right look I'm just taking all these items out everything matches everything

goes together perfect it tells you how to where we have the burnt orange

necktie Harrison Blake can you see that I like it a lot I like to burnt orange

with the blue and then they're not leaving you hanging with just some like

you know different colored tie because they're providing you with all the

accessories to go with it so that is that like I said this is uh Harrison

Blake tie alright and that is valued at $30 which is and then we had did I say

blue this is blue and white swirl the pulp in blue and whites were lapel pin I

love the pumpkins I mean when I'm dressed up I love to have something that

stands out so this would definitely stand out and this looks good so this is

right at 20 this is valued at $15 all right

and then we have the pocket square that matches perfectly with the tie you have

the blue and the orange the burnt orange and this is a $20 pocket square and then

we have the striped socks right here we have the hair subway chart stock light

at $8 they're just you know a regular plate pair of socks but they match

perfectly with the outfit and then the last item we get in here is a strap this

is a strap just for a watch there's no actual watch it's just a strap but look

at this stuff it matches perfectly so all the items right here everything goes

together just flawlessly you put this together people gonna be like man how

did you put that together well you can either tell Harris that blink hook you

up or you just make it seem like you're just this fashion expert dad that

figured it out all by yourself but these are all the items not with the watch

I've received you know watches from hair assembly that would go perfectly with

this you know with with the straps that you can just you know exchange so I'm

not worried about that it's just a strap because they've already provided me in

previous month with a watch that would go perfectly with this so that is

October's let's just get right into whatever's in it all right finally I

open this package up I need me a nice knife

Harrison blink if you're watching this you know put the kid up and hook me up

with with something nice now this is November so I ended up doing this in

order this is November it's the beginning of November I'm getting these

packages early early on in a month and from the looks of this card I already

like the things I'm gonna get now this right here total value at the in the

back is ninety so the October package was an $85 value this is a $90 value

let's get right into it we have a little well this is a travel exploring journey

it's just a little isn't what's this value that in the back this is a is

that's just a bonus item it's not buy it as anything is just a clear toiletry bag

something simple nothing fancy but a little toiletry bag with their brand on

it they sent me water bottles they've sent me different things that are like

you know they just and as a bonus in the package so this is

just a little toiletry bag something simple sometimes you can see

what's in it and that works for me all right that's the one item which is a

bonus item all right pocket square we're looking at pocket

squares were always getting ties I just dropped a couple of things

pocket square this is Harrison Blake and this is probably valued at $20 which I

am right and this is burgundy and blue most of the items are going to be

burgundy and blue as you can see from this November card now the knit tie I

like these are I mean honestly these knit ties are kind of like my favorite

ties they did add a little flair to it's more of a casual not too much of a

formal look but as you can see it's a flat bottom it's got like a crocheted

knitted type of look which is why it's a knit tie but I like it a lot I kind of

wear these times of life you look at my Instagram you can see that like I'm

usually wearing like a knit tie just because I'm casual not too faint not too

formal all right so we got a tie bar and it's a pretty cool tie bar it's a paper

clip it'll puppies look just like you have a

paper clip on but I want to take it off the back so you guys can really get a

good look at it all right so I'm gonna use the time but here you go here's a

paper clip - I don't have a paper clip tie bar and look at that so like I said

something fun for the office something you know it's fun and it looks cool it's

gonna it's like extra pie wouldn't buy it but I would buy this tie for sure but

I would not probably buy a paperclip time because it kind of looks just like

a paper clip but that's fun it looks good and I like it because it's fun and

then the last there's actually more there's two more items you have

cufflinks these little beet these little cuff links right here blue and white

that would match you have two of them obviously cuff links and then what I

like is wrist wear so we have a bracelet right here let's see this embraced with

this bracelet right here so it's a lot going on this bracelet it's actually

looking like a necklace just kidding it's a bracelet so let's take these off

always always have some kind of bracelet so they had it wrapped around a couple

of times all right there you go so you got a lot going on right you got a

little bottom you got the top like it looks like multiple bracelets which I'm

usually wearing multiple bracelets so this kind of looks like I'm wearing

multiple bracelets already in one so I like it it matches with the items the

green and the blues and the Burgundy's so that's everything for September and

October no that's everything for October and November

surgeons is too small might as has been the brains

and your brother's lie and already

SHOULD THE MCU AND THE X-MEN CROSS OVER? - Duration: 6:55.

So recently-ish, there were apparently discussions between Disney and Fox about Disney potentially

buying Fox.

Or some kind of merger or...

I don't know.

Corporate discussions aside, the main take-away from this for me at least is that Disney owns

Marvel and Fox owns the other part of Marvel like the X-Men, and….yeah, you do the math.

I know there are a lot of other properties at stake here, but for the purposes of this

video, I'm just looking at the comic book superhero aspect of it.

So whether or not this is actually gonna happen, I thought it could be interesting to talk

about if the MCU and the Fox Marvel properties even should cross over, and if they did, how

to go about it.

So, let's get into it.

So firstly, the big question: should the X-Men really move over to Marvel.

Let's start with the reasons not to do this.

For one, the X-Men movies currently aren't doing that badly.

Like with Spider-Man, that last Amazing Spider-Man film left everyone scrambling over at Sony.

But with the X-Men, sure Apocalypse wasn't super well received, but the main series has

had way more success than failure I'd say.

Plus, this new direction that the X-Men movies are currently going in, what with Deadpool

and Logan and New Mutants and Gambit, I wanna see more of that.

And as many people have pointed out, I doubt Disney would allow some of these r-rated superhero

movies.

If X-Men had always been with Disney I almost guarantee you that we would never have gotten

Logan.

And really that's the main negative with this deal.

I love the MCU, those movies are almost all time super fun.

But with the Fox Marvel stuff, at least with the X-Men, it seems like they're doing something

new and different, and I really wanna see that.

Creativity in these movies is awesome, and sure you can get creative with an MCU movie,

but you generally can't go into totally different genres like horror.

Even though I'm happy to see some more humor, the DCEU seems to be kind of becoming more

and more like your regular fun jokey superhero movie, and that's fine, Justice League looks

really cool.

But I feel like if the Fox properties came over to Marvel, everything would just end

up feeling very similar and we would miss out on these awesome new takes on these characters.

I don't really know how Deadpool would fit in with the MCU and still be able to have

everything that made Deadpool so enjoyable.

Also, these characters could potentially make this universe way too crowded.

Like we're already very crowded, adding a dozen or so more very layered and beloved

characters could potentially make this a little too bloated.

They make it work in the comics though.

On the other hand though, there are a lot of reasons why this would be great to see.

The two main ones I can think of are: 1, let's just be honest, it would be really cool to

see every Marvel character actually in the same film for the first time.

Now that Marvel has Spider-Man and the Avengers, all we need is the X-Men and it's basically

all reunited.

It'd be like a giant comic book, and not only fans of comics but just people who have

been fans of these movies would go nuts over this.

Cyclops and Captain America, Wolverine and Spider-Man, seeing these crossovers would

be amazing.

And 2, I know this video's called should the Avengers and X-Men crossover, but it's

important to remember that Fox doesn't just own the X-Men.

The main example being The Fantastic Four.

And that is one that really without any hesitation I would very gladly see switch over to the

MCU.

Say what you will about Fox, maybe they've learned how to do the X-Men stuff by giving

director more freedom, but we have seen time and time and time again that they don't

know what to do with the Fantastic Four.

I would love to see these characters done well by the MCU, I feel like they would definitely

know how to handle this.

Plus we can finally see really weird and crazy stuff with these characters since the MCU

isn't scared to go there.

Plus, everything that comes with the Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom, Galactus, all that would

finally be in the MCU.

We could finally get that iconic Luke Cage Doctor Doom crossover!

So, now let's say that this deal does go through and that the Fox properties move over

to Marvel Studios.

How do you do this?

Well firstly, get the easy one out of the way, the Fantastic Four.

One, new cast, as if it needs to be said.

Sure the casting wasn't awful in that last one but let's just distance ourselves from

it as much as possible.

Really, as far as how they get here, they can just show up.

Just some astronauts who get hit by some crazy stuff in space, it doesn't matter.

Just like Peter Parker, they can just have been living as normal people in this universe

all this time, and now they just get super powers.

Now for the tougher one, the X-Men.

What do you do with this?

Well, while some people might disagree, I'm gonna say you just gotta totally clean slate

it.

Recast everything.

Now for obvious and also somewhat less obvious reasons, Hugh Jackman is not gonna return

as Wolverine.

As awesome as it would be to see the Jackman Wolverine going up against Iron Man or something

like that, that's not gonna happen, plus it would kind of ruin Logan.

So, that one you should get someone new for.

Who that is is a topic for another time.

But I think you also have to just go clean on all the other characters.

Because think of it this way, if we keep the McAvoy, Fassbender cast, as much as I love

them in these roles, they're in the 80s and/or 90s right now, and so they would have

to be brought through some kind of dimensional portal, which would be weird.

However, maybe they're gonna have to do something like that anyway, cuz I don't

really know how else to cross these over, but also, the First Class cast, at least the

main three, are almost 100% not gonna wanna do another series of movies after this next

one.

So then we'll just be left with a few side characters, and while I like Quicksilver and

Beast from this world, are you kidding, I wanna see the Avengers meet Professor X and

Magneto!

So I think you just have to go in fresh, new with all of them.

And hey, I liked Andrew Garfield a lot as Spider-Man, but I think Marvel got an even

better actor for the role, so I trust them with this.

The only exception to this I can think of is Deadpool, because he's so weird and not

really set in any super defined continuity and also the character could just universe

jump at any time so keeping Ryan Reynolds on board would be totally fine.

I don't know how breaking the fourth wall would work in the MCU movies, but especially

with Ragnarok I felt sometimes like the characters were just one line from turning to the camera

and saying some Deadpool-style in joke that I think it wouldn't be too distracting.

As far as getting mutants to this world, again, I guess maybe some other dimensional portal,

but again that feels kind of forced and not very clever.

Maybe, kind of like how they've done Inhumans in the TV world, some people just have the

mutant gene and something that happens in this universe triggers it and then boom X-Men.

Guess we just have to forget about Inhumans then, which shouldn't be too hard.

So those were my thoughts on the MCU and the Fox Marvel properties crossing over.

What do you think of all this?
